  - And for this week's PCJ Pop,
• 0:13
we are taking it back all the way to 2008
• 0:16
with a rom-com that everybody knows and loves.
• 0:21
We're talking about Made of Honor.
• 0:24
So this movie has-- - I love this movie.
• 0:26
  - Yeah, it's so good.
• 0:27
  - This movie has Patrick Dempseye, Michelle Monaghan
• 0:31
and Kevin McKidd and is directed by Paul Weiland.
• 0:36
And it is a little bit of a flip on its head.
• 0:40
  Patrick Stemtze plays a womanizer
• 0:43
with a female best friend that he really finds
• 0:47
all of his emotional fulfillment with.
• 0:49
So he just flanders around New York City
• 0:53
and ultimately becomes the maid of honor for his girl best friend
• 0:58
when she meets a man in Scotland
• 1:01
and gets engaged within just a few weeks of knowing the man.
• 1:06
  It is so freaking good.
• 1:09
I mean, Patrick Stemtze looks amazing in this movie.
• 1:14
  - Is he McStemt me?
• 1:17
  - He's McDreamy. - He's McDreamy.
• 1:18
  - Okay.
• 1:19
  - He's McDreamy.
• 1:20
This is kind of peak that time as well.
• 1:23
I mean, Kevin McKidd is a very Scottish handsome man as well
• 1:27
and God does Michelle Maudahan look good in it.
• 1:30
It is such a cute, cheeky little rom-com as well.
• 1:35
  - Like you know where it's going,
• 1:37
but it's still fun to watch the ride.
• 1:39
  - Yeah, yeah.
• 1:41
And it's like, okay, most people who get engaged
• 1:44
within six weeks of knowing each other,
• 1:46
  there's gonna be some unknowns
• 1:48
and some potential for that to go astray.
• 1:52
So I think that it's just such a fun movie
• 1:56
  and such a good movie.
• 1:57
You get New York backdrop, you get Scotland as well.
• 2:01
And so, you know, if you are looking for a little fun
• 2:05
low stakes film, I'm gonna recommend made of honor.
