- 0:19Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh
- 0:23Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:26Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharma and today's very special guest, Rebecca
- 0:31Speaker 1: Black back in the treehouse.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Hello, have you guys missed me?
- 0:36Speaker 1: We have, And right before we you know, turned the
- 0:42Speaker 1: show on for the day, we were just discussing that
- 0:46Speaker 1: we all have one major neighborhood in Richardson in Common. Yeah,
- 0:50Speaker 1: for sixth and seventh grade, I lived near can You
- 0:53Speaker 1: Creek Country Club. Now, don't let your imaginations run wild.
- 0:56Speaker 1: We were not wealthy, and my grandmother rented a house
- 0:58Speaker 1: in that neighborhood. And it wasn't like we're on the
- 1:02Speaker 1: houses that backed up to the golf course. But Rebecca,
- 1:05Speaker 1: you live kind of in that area. And your best
- 1:08Speaker 1: friend's parents live in that neighborhood. Oh what a weird
- 1:14Speaker 1: small world really is.
- 1:16Speaker 2: And then we're all in radio too crazy.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Well it's it's I'll tell you off your hair that
- 1:23Speaker 3: the tie that you know, it makes it even more interesting.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Oh okay, sorry to everyone else.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Meanwhile, mesquite Raj here.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Hey, don't sell it short, buddy. Indians took over Richardson.
- 1:41Speaker 4: So you're welcome. You may have lived there, but we
- 1:46Speaker 4: now own it.
- 1:47Speaker 3: That is true.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Wait, we're in Mesquite, because did you ever cruise Galloway
- 1:54Speaker 2: back in the day.
- 1:55Speaker 4: No, because I wasn't a horrific degenerate. Well I was then, yes,
- 2:01Speaker 4: of course, but I but you had to have passed
- 2:03Speaker 4: my school many a time. I went to Mesqui po Tee,
- 2:05Speaker 4: and that was the big thing. I wasn't allowed to
- 2:07Speaker 4: do that because you know, outside of like studying and
- 2:12Speaker 4: extracurricular activities that I could be a part of, we
- 2:15Speaker 4: weren't allowed to do that stuff.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I went to the private school up the road, Dallas Christian.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Oh nice, Okay, the Lions, I believe.
- 2:23Speaker 2: That's Chargers close.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Oh Chargers.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 2:25Speaker 4: I thought there would be the Crusaders and you guys
- 2:27Speaker 4: would just go to the Middle East and lose.
- 2:33Speaker 1: You can say that as as I can.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Scoreboard already off to an amazing start.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Maybe we'll just stick to the suburbs.
- 2:48Speaker 4: I think by the school that the Christian school I
- 2:50Speaker 4: went to before it shut down, Temple Christian I think
- 2:53Speaker 4: used to play you guys.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I totally remember. Temple Christian.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, that's why, that's where I learned about being safe.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Were you saved?
- 3:03Speaker 4: I passed?
- 3:04Speaker 1: Congratulation?
- 3:06Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:06Speaker 1: Well, now Howard is learning all sorts of new information
- 3:08Speaker 1: about each other. So learning that Raj went to a
- 3:11Speaker 1: private Christian school at one point, Rebecca, you did as well.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I went to Catholic school for fourth and fifth grade
- 3:17Speaker 1: in Dallas. Trey, were you ever in a private school
- 3:20Speaker 1: or are you all publicly raised?
- 3:21Speaker 2: That was all public and he's probably the most normal
- 3:24Speaker 2: out of all of us.
- 3:27Speaker 4: That's really funny.
- 3:29Speaker 1: What to be fair, his first public school upbringing was
- 3:36Speaker 1: in the Highland Park areas.
- 3:37Speaker 5: So no, it was Lake Highlands, Like, oh, I got
- 3:45Speaker 5: bad news for you.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Lake Highlands in late seventies, early eighties was.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Not Yeah, they did not have sushi till the nineties.
- 3:52Speaker 3: It didn't.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Better check yourself, guys.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Trey had it. So how what was your school
- 3:57Speaker 1: journey like? So what it was? Lake Highlands, then Highland Park,
- 4:01Speaker 1: Highland Park, then Leonard Tyner's, then back to the Highland.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Park Leonards the wild card there it is.
- 4:08Speaker 1: And uh, that's one thing Trey and I have in common.
- 4:10Speaker 1: We both have some city living and some country living.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yes, me too.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Same Leonard's mascot was the fighting Inmate.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I think that's Huntsville.
- 4:26Speaker 3: You're you're.
- 4:28Speaker 5: You're supposing that Leonard is big enough to have a jail, so, uh,
- 4:33Speaker 5: it's not.
- 4:36Speaker 3: All right.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Well, speaking of big things happening in Texas, did you
- 4:41Speaker 1: guys hear about the great fly drop that's going to
- 4:43Speaker 1: be happening over the next couple of years?
- 4:45Speaker 4: Oh?
- 4:46Speaker 2: I did hear about this?
- 4:47Speaker 1: This is so gross. The federal government is planning to
- 4:51Speaker 1: release millions of sterile flies over Texas and Mexico to
- 4:57Speaker 1: combat the New World screw worm, which is a flesh
- 5:01Speaker 1: eating maggot threatening US livestock. The flies are sterilized with
- 5:06Speaker 1: radiation before release, aiming to disrupt the pest's reproduction cycle
- 5:10Speaker 1: and prevent larva from hatching. This initiative includes plans listen
- 5:16Speaker 1: to this. This initiative includes plans for a new fly
- 5:20Speaker 1: factory in Mexico by July twenty twenty six and a
- 5:25Speaker 1: distribution center in southern Texas by the end of next year.
- 5:29Speaker 2: A factory, a factory.
- 5:33Speaker 1: A new fly factory, which implies there's an old one.
- 5:39Speaker 2: My brain just kind of blew up there because I'm
- 5:41Speaker 2: just all I can picture is like assembly lines putting
- 5:43Speaker 2: together flies.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Yeah, the old one was just for units of commercial.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Right, what is I'm scared to ask what that entails.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Honestly, I'm with you, but it is fascinating because somewhere
- 6:00Speaker 1: there are a group of researchers and scientists who are like,
- 6:03Speaker 1: it's our time.
- 6:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I just feel like this this is the start
- 6:08Speaker 5: of the mutant movie.
- 6:10Speaker 2: You're accurate, tray.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Yeah, what can I you know?
- 6:14Speaker 5: You're you're doing radiation on flies.
- 6:18Speaker 3: And then turning.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Has anyone spoken to Jeff Goldmoon lately.
- 6:25Speaker 1: He's very excited about that.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Or is this the sequel or the whatever number they're
- 6:30Speaker 2: on is the four of them? I don't know.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't know. The new one will just be the
- 6:33Speaker 1: reboot can just be because the original was what the fly?
- 6:36Speaker 1: And then the reboot will just be now flies.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Now you're gonna have to order like when you order
- 6:42Speaker 4: your beef, instead of being like, you know, humanly raised
- 6:46Speaker 4: or whatever. Now you have to ask for radiation free
- 6:48Speaker 4: burgers because this is for livestock.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Right, it's either does that count as some sort of
- 6:53Speaker 2: pesticide radiation?
- 6:56Speaker 4: Yes? I believe.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Somewhere.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know that might be a loophole in there.
- 7:03Speaker 4: You think not a lot of burgers being served at
- 7:06Speaker 4: Chernobyl by the way, Why it's.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Like good news, the cows are fine. Bad news. Your
- 7:13Speaker 2: personal reproductive is shot.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but now I have a new franchise idea called
- 7:18Speaker 1: glow Burger. You're listening to the tree Wise.
- 7:28Speaker 6: Visit us online at Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 7:48Speaker 7: You're in the Treehouse. Visit us online at Treehouse on

- 8:38Speaker 1: you sponsors. Yep, we'll see you Sunday, July twentieth. This
- 8:42Speaker 1: is the Treehouse Show. Why. I'm Dan, that's Trey, He's Raj,
- 8:44Speaker 1: and she is Rebecca. Rebecca. I think you're even coming
- 8:47Speaker 1: to the road show, right, I am.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I'm super excited. Can't wait to hang out with you guys.
- 8:52Speaker 1: We're excited for that as well. And we're also now
- 8:55Speaker 1: excited about the new Treehouse venture we've just discovered. After
- 8:57Speaker 1: all these radiated flies are dropped on Texas, I'm going
- 9:01Speaker 1: to start up the glow Burger uh franchise for fast food.
- 9:05Speaker 1: And Rebecca, you have an idea for a new restaurant
- 9:07Speaker 1: as well.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I'm saying glow Steaks. You know, it could be a
- 9:12Speaker 2: tourist attraction. Some people go to Mexico for the bioluminescence.
- 9:15Speaker 2: People come to Texas for the glow steak.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm I'm here for it. Look, you'll be able
- 9:21Speaker 1: to see the signs for Miles.
- 9:24Speaker 4: It used to be Waterburger that was the beacon in
- 9:27Speaker 4: the night.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Now it's glow Steaks, Glow Burger and glow Steaks.
- 9:31Speaker 4: I was gonna say we could merge Oh, I think
- 9:34Speaker 4: that's gonna happen naturally.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, no, no, it's it's under the same company.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yet, I see what you did there. Yeah, a few
- 9:43Speaker 2: extra ears is what you're saying.
- 9:45Speaker 4: I'm just saying that you're gonna start with a glow
- 9:47Speaker 4: steak and it just grows a new one.
- 9:50Speaker 2: You could do it that way, or we can all
- 9:51Speaker 2: just go fish and White Rock Lake.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Why do people do that?
- 9:56Speaker 2: I don't know. It's wild, isn't it.
- 9:59Speaker 1: It's so does discussing because we used to live two
- 10:03Speaker 1: miles from White Rock Lake, and so we'd be around
- 10:07Speaker 1: it all the time and we'd see people fishing at
- 10:09Speaker 1: White Rockets, Like, do you people not know that's some
- 10:12Speaker 1: gross stuff in there? Read the news, they'll tell you
- 10:14Speaker 1: it's it's it's a potty reservoir.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Not only that, it's where everybody goes to drop a
- 10:19Speaker 2: dead body.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Oh, it's still the Trinity River.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Why White Tray and I were on the same page
- 10:29Speaker 4: for that one, I don't know. But good, good call, buddy.
- 10:33Speaker 3: You clearly don't understand that.
- 10:34Speaker 5: You know about eighty percent of southern Dallas County is
- 10:37Speaker 5: not populated.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, no, no, I know what you're saying.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Well, and actually, you guys, here's the thing, you guys,
- 10:45Speaker 1: this is not a point of delineation. Both both statements
- 10:50Speaker 1: can be true. Yes, Now, the west side of white
- 10:53Speaker 1: Rock Lake is not typically where you dump the bodies
- 10:56Speaker 1: because that's Lakewood and that's kind of the nicer area.
- 10:59Speaker 1: On the east side though, of white Rock that's that's
- 11:02Speaker 1: where Garland and Mesquite may may may throw a few
- 11:04Speaker 1: in there. But you're right, if you really want to
- 11:07Speaker 1: hide a body, you toss it in the trinity. That's
- 11:09Speaker 1: insane and based on a story I saw last week,
- 11:13Speaker 1: there's reasons why some YouTuber who is on a mission
- 11:17Speaker 1: to catch a world record size alligator gar comes to
- 11:24Speaker 1: Dallas every year trying to break the world record for
- 11:29Speaker 1: having caught the largest alligator gar. Last week he caught
- 11:32Speaker 1: one eight feet one inches out of the trinity. And
- 11:37Speaker 1: that's why we don't swim in that thing.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Nope, it's our own MESSI.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Those have been there, I mean forever.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It's disgusting to think about that. It's like, and people
- 11:47Speaker 1: will do the water sports on white Rock Lake, they'll
- 11:50Speaker 1: do the kayak thing. I don't think anyone swims in it. And
- 11:52Speaker 1: I think they like actively patrol that and tell you
- 11:55Speaker 1: not to. Trinity River's kind of the same thing. It's like, Okay,
- 11:59Speaker 1: I'll occasionally see publicity photos for the city of Dallas
- 12:03Speaker 1: when they're trying to tell other people in other parts
- 12:06Speaker 1: of the world how nice the city is, and it'll
- 12:08Speaker 1: include photos of the skyline with the Trinity River flowing
- 12:13Speaker 1: beneath it. It's like.
- 12:17Speaker 4: You just see like arms and legs on top of
- 12:19Speaker 4: the water.
- 12:20Speaker 1: That's why when you see those photos, it's a real
- 12:22Speaker 1: wide shot.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Remember when they were going to build that big old
- 12:27Speaker 2: park around the Trinity River.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Oh?
- 12:29Speaker 4: Man, yes, and then the first forty eight it's like,
- 12:31Speaker 4: you're gonna mess up.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, this.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Is where we get all our be real. We can't
- 12:40Speaker 4: do that, buddy.
- 12:40Speaker 1: It really is. And it's terrifying though, because in just
- 12:44Speaker 1: the last two weeks, I've seen video of a massive
- 12:48Speaker 1: alligator in the Trinity that someone had posted online, and
- 12:52Speaker 1: then just last week some guy pulling an eight foot
- 12:57Speaker 1: one inch alligator gar out of the Trinity. I don't
- 13:00Speaker 1: want anything to do with the Trinity. I don't even
- 13:02Speaker 1: understand people that want to kayak down that thing. I
- 13:05Speaker 1: think the only people that have any interest in kayaking
- 13:07Speaker 1: on the Trinity are either people hiding bodies or people
- 13:11Speaker 1: trying to find the bodies, or that also is not true. Plenty,
- 13:23Speaker 1: I've seen plenty of black men fishing the Trinity River.
- 13:26Speaker 4: I think we're talking about kayak kayaking.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah, kayaking. That's definitely a white thing.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Yeah you make it fun of me?
- 13:34Speaker 2: Are you making fun of me because I kayak?
- 13:35Speaker 4: No, you're white?
- 13:39Speaker 2: Not on the Trinity I have it White Rock Lake though.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, no where. There's an ongoing thing where
- 13:44Speaker 1: we make fun of white people because we have a
- 13:46Speaker 1: tendency to have this adventurous spirit and then it sometimes
- 13:49Speaker 1: kills us. Sure, and Rag likes to point out that
- 13:51Speaker 1: there are certain things that most people of color will
- 13:54Speaker 1: not do. Kayaking is not a common hobby for people
- 13:57Speaker 1: of color. And you know what, Rebecca, that not a
- 14:00Speaker 1: slam on you because you kayak, because I also do
- 14:02Speaker 1: the stand up paddle board thing, and I've yet to
- 14:04Speaker 1: see black dude on a paddle board.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Rebecca, do you do you mountain climb?
- 14:09Speaker 2: Uh?
- 14:10Speaker 1: Not really, but you will?
- 14:12Speaker 2: I mean I probably would. I wouldn't do the you know,
- 14:15Speaker 2: like where you have to use your hands and stuff.
- 14:17Speaker 1: That looks to you just want like a steep hike.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, hike is good. I can do that.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Yeah, there you go.
- 14:23Speaker 3: All right?
- 14:25Speaker 4: Did yet that's that should be on every white person's
- 14:29Speaker 4: shirt exactly?
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yet bebe white hasn't killed me yet.

- 15:21Speaker 1: is open, Let's grow. I'm Danil Maley along with Trey Trnhill,
- 15:25Speaker 1: Braj Sharma, and today's special guest Rebecca Black. Rebecca, you
- 15:30Speaker 1: and I are both married. Trey and Raj are both single.
- 15:34Speaker 1: We can still all have some input on this, but
- 15:36Speaker 1: I'm very curious. Something tragic happened to me just a
- 15:40Speaker 1: couple of days ago. I want to share with you
- 15:42Speaker 1: inside the Treehouse today. My wife is phobic when it
- 15:47Speaker 1: comes to roaches, Okay, and I'm not overstating that. She
- 15:52Speaker 1: truly is like fearful of roaches, and the other day
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm in the office and she calls me to the bedroom.
- 16:01Speaker 1: She's like, there's a roach and you have to come
- 16:02Speaker 1: get it. She said, okay, I got you. So I
- 16:04Speaker 1: grabbed some toilet paper, went to the bedroom and there's
- 16:08Speaker 1: the roach. So now I got to pick it up.
- 16:10Speaker 1: The thing is, I don't know if it's alive or dead.
- 16:13Speaker 1: It's probably dead because the pest guy just came, but
- 16:17Speaker 1: you never know. They can be tricky little yes ops. Anyway,
- 16:21Speaker 1: so I reached down to pick up the roach, and
- 16:24Speaker 1: my thumb was on the back end. I was doing
- 16:27Speaker 1: like the pinch with the with the toilet paper, so
- 16:30Speaker 1: my my fingertips were at like the roach head and
- 16:33Speaker 1: my thumb was gumbing up the backside right and then
- 16:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna squeeze and pinch and destroy and save my wife. Well,
- 16:41Speaker 1: the problem is, I guess this roach had been dead
- 16:44Speaker 1: for a while because his back legs were petrified, and
- 16:47Speaker 1: it stabbed me in the thumb. Now imagine the scene.
- 16:55Speaker 1: My wife, who is phobic when it comes to roaches.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I reached down to square wash the roach and scream
- 17:01Speaker 1: out ow h. I can imagine what's going through her head.
- 17:07Speaker 2: It's fighting back is what's happening.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Yeah, She's like, is it biting you?
- 17:12Speaker 4: No, it's not biting me.
- 17:13Speaker 1: It's dead. It's it's or I said, or maybe it
- 17:16Speaker 1: has a knife. I don't know, because it really did.
- 17:19Speaker 1: It stabbed me in the thumb. It's like two days
- 17:22Speaker 1: later and my thumb it's still had. I still have
- 17:25Speaker 1: a boo boo from being stabbed in the thumb tip
- 17:28Speaker 1: by a cockroach.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Peter Parker had a radioactive spider. Dann Malley the roach.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Yep, nobody can kill you.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Man.
- 17:39Speaker 1: This is absolutely awful. My wife, my wife's worst nightmare
- 17:44Speaker 1: come to life.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't even think about it. From that point
- 17:48Speaker 2: of view. Every time she goes in for a kiss,
- 17:50Speaker 2: she's gonna be thinking roach man. Mm hmm, you're tainted.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yeah, you're the only You're the only avenger that survived.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Daniels just laughing running around with no head.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Didn't snap out of me?
- 18:10Speaker 3: Bitch.
- 18:11Speaker 4: What was Dan's last words?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Ray? This is so's nothing, there's there's There are a
- 18:20Speaker 1: few things worse in this world than unintentionally emasculating yourself.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It really was like, of all the roaches I've killed
- 18:28Speaker 1: in my life, not once has a roach leg stabbed
- 18:31Speaker 1: me in the thumb. I didn't even know it was
- 18:32Speaker 1: possible until just two days ago. It's so embarrassing. That's
- 18:39Speaker 1: a good question. Do I need one?
- 18:41Speaker 2: I don't know. They carry a lot of germs, right.
- 18:44Speaker 4: But they don't carry rust.
- 18:45Speaker 2: So well, what do you get for germs?
- 18:50Speaker 4: Yesporing Mono, Dan, how'd you get?
- 18:55Speaker 1: Mano? Well, it was a roach, Jesus.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Well, we'll find out in a few days that's true.
- 19:03Speaker 2: We'll just wait it out, guys.

- 20:47Speaker 1: I need to be worried about, Rebecca, because I got
- 20:51Speaker 1: punctured by a dead roach.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Multiple diseases that you should be concerned about, But the
- 20:55Speaker 2: big one I think is dysentery. Yes, disent terry, you know,
- 21:01Speaker 2: like from the organ trail. Oh yeah, very well, you're
- 21:04Speaker 2: gonna poop yourself to death.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Yes, thank you. Unfortunately, there's no cure because we live
- 21:10Speaker 4: in the eighteen fifties.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Okay, not all cures work, that's why they're called cures. Yeah,
- 21:20Speaker 2: good point. That was a dumb moment there here.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Take this probably.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Well, but like people die of you, Coli all the time.
- 21:34Speaker 2: We have we have medications to combat that.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Yeah, they're called Christian scientists.
- 21:38Speaker 1: That's me. We're gonna, we're gonna pray that Coli away.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Hey, we don't know. Dan did go to Christian school
- 21:45Speaker 2: for fourth and fifth grade, so no Catholic school.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Different.
- 21:51Speaker 4: He just got touched different kind of parasite.
- 21:57Speaker 2: There can we touch the disperio? My goodness, it took
- 22:07Speaker 2: a turn, didn't it.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It really did. But that's okay, Uh, speaking of things
- 22:10Speaker 1: that are unexpected. We were talking earlier about how white
- 22:15Speaker 1: people activities have a tendency to get us killed. That's
- 22:20Speaker 1: not always true. Sometimes it kills Brazilians.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Okay, it's fair.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Uh.
- 22:30Speaker 1: A young woman's last heartbreaking text to her mother has
- 22:34Speaker 1: been revealed before she fell into a volcano and divon.
- 22:40Speaker 2: She just wanted to see more.
- 22:44Speaker 3: She saw too much.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Need to point o.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Hot, You're not close enough?
- 22:57Speaker 3: Was it?
- 22:57Speaker 4: Yikes?
- 23:00Speaker 2: That's just pulled.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Up the sign like wiley guy.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It really does beg the question if it's possible for
- 23:09Speaker 1: you to be on some sort of excursion or tour
- 23:12Speaker 1: to a volcano. I really think they should keep an
- 23:16Speaker 1: eye on you. Part of the tour shouldn't be so
- 23:19Speaker 1: dangerous that you can slip and fall into said volcano.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Agree.
- 23:22Speaker 4: I think on any pamphle that you're doing something like
- 23:25Speaker 4: this on, there should be a win loss record, like
- 23:28Speaker 4: how many times has the volcano loss as opposed to people?
- 23:33Speaker 4: And that's how you decided whether you're going on that
- 23:37Speaker 4: that's a volcano.
- 23:38Speaker 1: That's a fair Yeah, that makes sense for for tours
- 23:42Speaker 1: and excursions, they have like a ninety two return rate, right.
- 23:47Speaker 4: And they and they name them to where it's trying
- 23:50Speaker 4: to get you to stay. It's like, this is Diablo's
- 23:52Speaker 4: Horn and you're like, let's wreck it. I'm like, let's not.
- 23:55Speaker 4: It's the Devil's horn. Let's not do that. It's in
- 23:58Speaker 4: the name.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about. That sounds fabulous,
- 24:02Speaker 2: of course it does.
- 24:05Speaker 5: I think everyone who's going to go hike a volcano
- 24:08Speaker 5: shed first have to watch that documentary about.
- 24:10Speaker 3: The New Zealand tourist that and uh, then if you
- 24:14Speaker 3: want to go, I mean that that's then okay, you're
- 24:16Speaker 3: you're you're good.
- 24:17Speaker 1: What happened to the New Zealand Yah?
- 24:19Speaker 3: Huh.
- 24:20Speaker 5: You know New zeal they had these tours to this
- 24:22Speaker 5: you know, quote unquote dormant volcano and one day, uh,
- 24:27Speaker 5: as volcanoes sometimes do.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Uh.
- 24:29Speaker 5: It just kind of unexpectedly erupted and killed a bunch
- 24:33Speaker 5: of people. And then the pyroclastic cloud, which is what
- 24:35Speaker 5: really gets you. That's the hot steam, you know. It
- 24:38Speaker 5: like literally it fused people's clothing to their skin and
- 24:41Speaker 5: they were like peeled off layers and layers of skin.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Uh.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Yeah, it was uh it made I mean, it made
- 24:47Speaker 4: the news.
- 24:48Speaker 5: It's literally a Netflix document like a three part documentary.
- 24:52Speaker 3: It's fascinating.
- 24:53Speaker 4: But oh and there's like there's there's people that had
- 24:55Speaker 4: to like they had to leave people on that island
- 24:57Speaker 4: where it was like no, no, like they there was
- 25:00Speaker 4: nothing they could do for them, Like.
- 25:01Speaker 1: That was unfortunately. That's kind of what happened in this
- 25:05Speaker 1: situation with this young woman who was on like a
- 25:08Speaker 1: solo travel adventure and part of her trip took her
- 25:12Speaker 1: to this volcano. She's Juliana Maren's, a Brazilian tourist, was
- 25:16Speaker 1: in a group hiking Mount Rain Johnny in Lombach on
- 25:20Speaker 1: June twenty first. This was in Southeast Asia. This is
- 25:23Speaker 1: the second highest volcano in the country. When she slipped
- 25:27Speaker 1: and fell one thousand meters into a ravine. The really
- 25:31Speaker 1: horrible part of this story is the fact that the
- 25:34Speaker 1: fall didn't kill her. She hit basically a ledge and
- 25:37Speaker 1: showed signs of life and movement, but because of weather,
- 25:41Speaker 1: rescuers couldn't get down tour and within three days she
- 25:44Speaker 1: had died from all the elements. But in her final
- 25:48Speaker 1: message to her mom, she says, Mammy, I love you
- 25:52Speaker 1: so much. I was heartbroken when we said goodbye. In fact,
- 25:55Speaker 1: that's the only thing that worries me, letting you, Poppy
- 25:57Speaker 1: or my sister be disappointed. Other than that, I'm not
- 26:00Speaker 1: afraid of much much less trouble. She goes on to say,
- 26:05Speaker 1: I was raised by a woman who can solve any
- 26:06Speaker 1: problem and who was not afraid to take the plunge
- 26:09Speaker 1: and go after her dreams.
- 26:12Speaker 2: She took the plunge, she.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Did, and and this is why I think it's important.
- 26:18Speaker 5: Huh Indonesia in an area like sometimes known as the
- 26:23Speaker 5: Ring of Fire. Yeah, proceed, trick, I think that's it.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Okay, Well, when can we go to her death site
- 26:37Speaker 2: because I'd like to visit.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Paying cash is playing.
- 26:44Speaker 4: I'm just saying, when you start a truck and all
- 26:46Speaker 4: the locals are just watching, like no, no, you go
- 26:51Speaker 4: that's the truck. You don't want to go on when
- 26:54Speaker 4: the locals are taking bets on if you're coming.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Back when the sherpas go. No, I'd rather hike Everest.

- 27:46Speaker 1: was probably on at this volcano when she fell in
- 27:49Speaker 1: and died.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Mm hm, trucking Mount Run Johnny, two days, one night
- 27:55Speaker 4: to the crater rim all inclusive. Ohe hundred and ten dollars,
- 28:01Speaker 4: all inclusive. I'm assuming also is for your funeral.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I was gonna say it's cremation.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I mean, it really is a one stop shop.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Not included though.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Well you're not going down there to get the ashes.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Yeah no, no, no, no.
- 28:19Speaker 1: No, that's for the family.
- 28:21Speaker 4: So yeah, we'll take care of the open bar. The
- 28:23Speaker 4: volcano will take care of the cremation and two hundred
- 28:28Speaker 4: and ten US dollars in Indonesian Repaya is three million,
- 28:33Speaker 4: four hundred thousand. My goodness, So keep on going, white folk.
- 28:39Speaker 1: She's Brazilian.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Keep on going Brazilians that I don't know why you're there.
- 28:47Speaker 3: That area should be just called make a Wish for
- 28:49Speaker 3: non white people.
- 28:55Speaker 4: Wow. I'm going to open a truck con service on
- 29:01Speaker 4: Evers called make a Witch. It's gonna be It's I
- 29:05Speaker 4: can't imagine how many people will have signed up one day.
- 29:08Speaker 1: We well, you know what, as a kid, I threw
- 29:10Speaker 1: coins in the fountain at the mall, and maybe the
- 29:12Speaker 1: locals in Indonesia just throw white people in the volcano.
- 29:17Speaker 3: They don't even have to throw them, no, just trap.
- 29:20Speaker 4: They pay to do it.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I got two hundred and ten dollars and my wish
- 29:28Speaker 1: came through all right. Today is Monday, July seventh, twenty
- 29:37Speaker 1: twenty five. Let's celebrate people who are having birthdays today,
- 29:44Speaker 1: oh Man. Half of the Country duo Maddie and Tay
- 29:48Speaker 1: Mattie Marlowe is thirty today. From five Seconds of Summer,
- 29:52Speaker 1: Ashton Irwin is thirty one. Ali Brook from Fifth Harmony
- 29:56Speaker 1: is thirty two Eve Houston is thirty four today. That
- 30:01Speaker 1: is Bono's daughter from You two. She's an actress. She
- 30:04Speaker 1: was maid Marian in the Jamie Fox Robin Hood movie
- 30:07Speaker 1: and a nurse named Lucy on a show called The Nick. Okay,
- 30:12Speaker 1: so Bono's daughter is a celebrating a birthday today and
- 30:15Speaker 1: she is an actress.
- 30:16Speaker 4: Good for her.
- 30:17Speaker 1: From Avenged Sevenfold, Sinister Gates is forty four. He's the
- 30:21Speaker 1: lead guitarist.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Great.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Michelle, Yeah, it really is. Michelle Kwan, figure skater and
- 30:28Speaker 1: Olympic silver medallist, is forty five today.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Okay.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Chrise Summer is fifty six. She played Freddy on a
- 30:38Speaker 1: Different World. She's mostly been doing voice acting for cartoons
- 30:42Speaker 1: since then, including shows like The Rugrats, and she was
- 30:45Speaker 1: the voice of Penny on Inspector Gadget yep. Jim gaffigan
- 30:51Speaker 1: Comedy Genius is fifty nine today. Hot Pockets.
- 30:58Speaker 4: Yeah, he is great, very good actor.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Billy Campbell is sixty six. He was The Rocketeer, which,
- 31:07Speaker 1: if I remember correctly, my gosh, I think that was
- 31:10Speaker 1: a Marvel comic book, The Rocketeer. It's from a comic book,
- 31:14Speaker 1: and that was one of the first comic book movies.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That I one. I mean there was there's others I made,
- 31:21Speaker 1: but still that was what I had never even heard
- 31:23Speaker 1: of until that movie came out. And even now that
- 31:25Speaker 1: premise is like the Rocketeer, It's just a dude on
- 31:27Speaker 1: a jet pack is all it was. But I think
- 31:29Speaker 1: it took place in like the thirties or forties or something,
- 31:33Speaker 1: So I guess that's why it was supposed to be cool.
- 31:35Speaker 4: It's like Rural Oklahoma's Iron Man.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah, that's exactly what it was. Have you seen the movie? So, yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 1: you nailed it.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Yeah, the X brand version.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Ye, it's the TMU version of Iron fil.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Iron t MoU.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Was a store brand of Cereal.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Just called Cereal.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:59Speaker 1: So anyway, Billy Campbell sixty six to day. Shelley duvall
- 32:02Speaker 1: is seventy six. That is Jack Nicholson's wife in the
- 32:05Speaker 1: Shining Olive Oil in the Popeye movie?
- 32:08Speaker 3: Uh did you?
- 32:10Speaker 2: And she did?
- 32:12Speaker 4: You would think?
- 32:14Speaker 1: Honestly, I'm having to pull up this birthday list from
- 32:17Speaker 1: two years ago, so some of these people may have
- 32:18Speaker 1: passed on. Well, the prep service took took the fourth
- 32:22Speaker 1: of July holiday off.
- 32:23Speaker 3: So did au did y'all see where they said the Popeye.
- 32:30Speaker 5: The filming of the Popeye movie set, Robin william Shelley
- 32:32Speaker 5: to all those was the most coked out set ever.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Yes, yes, if you've ever seen that movie, I believe
- 32:38Speaker 1: it had to be.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, that wasn't a prosthetic for Robin Williams one arm.
- 32:45Speaker 4: It was that Jack from all the lines Cutty Blynes
- 32:50Speaker 4: really builds upstring those fore arms.
- 32:52Speaker 2: You gotta do something with that pent up energy.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Oh God, that was such a weird. I think I
- 32:58Speaker 1: only saw that movie one and it I remember enough
- 33:03Speaker 1: of it to know that it's for some reason, it
- 33:05Speaker 1: just felt kind of creepy. I don't know why.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Cocaine that's why they were all like it was.
- 33:11Speaker 2: I just remember, like if you see the actual film footage,
- 33:14Speaker 2: they all seemed like a sweaty mess, like and makeup
- 33:17Speaker 2: didn't try to take care of that.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:19Speaker 4: And the second hardest party, or besides Robin Williams, most
- 33:22Speaker 4: people didn't realize this was John Ritter from Three's Company.
- 33:26Speaker 4: That was his cocaine buddy, Like that's who was. Yeah.
- 33:29Speaker 4: They'd go on like three four day benders on coke
- 33:32Speaker 4: and and he would show up to the set of
- 33:34Speaker 4: Three's Company and start work. The only reason that they
- 33:37Speaker 4: quit was Belushi dying. Robin Williams was supposed to be
- 33:41Speaker 4: with him.
- 33:42Speaker 2: That night, Wow, that night side the Three House.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, crazy stuff shots, but Marmont took another one. Yeah.
- 33:55Speaker 1: The only problem is is sometimes we have to research
- 33:59Speaker 1: some the things you say, Raj, and they turn out
- 34:01Speaker 1: not to be true.
- 34:03Speaker 4: John Belush, John belushik.
- 34:05Speaker 2: No, John Belushi's alive. It's Jim Belushi that's dead.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Okay, John, there's no it is.
- 34:10Speaker 2: You're right, You're right. I don't brother.
- 34:12Speaker 1: John's alive, Jim's dead. No, Jim's alive. John's dead.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Okay, Sorry, my bad.
- 34:18Speaker 1: And for those that didn't know, Jim Belushi is the
- 34:20Speaker 1: one that was in the monkey suit uh in trading places. See,
- 34:25Speaker 1: you have the things you know, and I have the
- 34:27Speaker 1: things I know.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Yes, and that was what I did not know.
- 34:31Speaker 1: That very cool fun fact, Trey, or do you have
- 34:35Speaker 1: any count.
- 34:36Speaker 3: I do because I had to google your firework thing.
- 34:40Speaker 4: It is the most expensive one blue is okay.
- 34:45Speaker 2: The most expensive firework to produce.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, why because they said the temperature balance with
- 34:55Speaker 5: I think it was the copper and something else with
- 34:56Speaker 5: the elements that they have to put in there is
- 34:59Speaker 5: it's very very hard to get the right shade of
- 35:01Speaker 5: blue that you want and uh so it's very temperature sensitive.
- 35:05Speaker 2: And so there you go. Look at that.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Think about that the last time you see fireworks and
- 35:11Speaker 1: there's a blue and you like, whoo they got money.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Yeah they rich.
- 35:16Speaker 1: And it doesn't make sense when you think about it,
- 35:18Speaker 1: because when you think about firework shows, I really have
- 35:20Speaker 1: a hard time recalling really any blue ones, lots of green,
- 35:24Speaker 1: lots of red. Purple is really popular, you know, blue
- 35:29Speaker 1: it is, see.
- 35:31Speaker 4: And this one just says orange is now Yeah, right.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Click on that, click on that and look at the
- 35:39Speaker 3: meme that goes with it.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Oh, I'm just it's just as people ask.
- 35:43Speaker 5: I know, but but I saw that too. But then
- 35:46Speaker 5: but then if you look at at what causes the
- 35:48Speaker 5: orange firework?
- 35:50Speaker 4: Oh, it doesn't say this is nothing to click on.
- 35:52Speaker 4: It just says orange.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 5: No, it's based on a meme that, uh the orange
- 35:57Speaker 5: is a nuclear mushroom cloud.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Hilarious.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that would probably more expensive.
- 36:04Speaker 2: It's like, where is the punch coming?
- 36:08Speaker 1: Right in the gup, that's where.

- 36:49Speaker 1: inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with Tredy Trenholm,
- 36:52Speaker 1: Raj Sharma, and Rebecca Black inside the Treehouse today Monday,
- 36:57Speaker 1: July seventh, twenty twenty five. I'm not usually big on
- 37:02Speaker 1: hard crime stories, but sometimes there are elements to them
- 37:06Speaker 1: that elevate them to Treehouse material, and this is one
- 37:09Speaker 1: of those cases. In Dallas last week, Dallas police tazed
- 37:15Speaker 1: and arrested an Arizona gang member accused of selling drugs downtown.
- 37:24Speaker 1: This was Wednesday night in downtown Dallas. Dallas Police said
- 37:28Speaker 1: the suspect of selling drugs in the four hundred block
- 37:30Speaker 1: of North Lamar Street around nine pm. Officers say he
- 37:36Speaker 1: had about twenty six grams of cocaine on him at
- 37:40Speaker 1: the time of his arrest. He was wanted on multiple
- 37:43Speaker 1: fell in the arrests in Arizona and as a documented
- 37:46Speaker 1: gang member. Well Police, as part of their Downtown task
- 37:51Speaker 1: force on a foot patrol say they saw a thirty
- 37:53Speaker 1: three year old didn't Sell Idris conducting a drug sale.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Police say he ran from officers before he was tasted
- 38:01Speaker 1: and then taken into custody. There's two reasons why I
- 38:05Speaker 1: wanted to share this story with you. Number one is,
- 38:09Speaker 1: I know, getting arrested for selling drugs is bad for
- 38:12Speaker 1: your drug selling business. However, when you're selling cocaine and
- 38:17Speaker 1: you got twenty six grams of it and you get
- 38:19Speaker 1: caught by police on foot, that's some bad cocaine. I mean,
- 38:23Speaker 1: you have cocaine, you should be able to outrun every
- 38:26Speaker 1: police officer in the department.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Like it's a superpower.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:31Speaker 1: You should. You do a few bumps, and you should
- 38:34Speaker 1: be like greased lightning. You should be like the white flash.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Yeah, a taser shouldn't take you down.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Also, that would help, Yeah, because if you're that coked out,
- 38:45Speaker 1: you may just ride that lightning and keep running. The
- 38:47Speaker 1: other reason why I wanted to share this story with
- 38:49Speaker 1: you is because Didn't Sell Idris is a very attractive
- 38:54Speaker 1: man who left behind a very award winning model esque
- 39:00Speaker 1: mugshot Okay, oh, I mean look at that smile. I
- 39:08Speaker 1: mean that just I mean William Morris, the Ford Modeling
- 39:12Speaker 1: agency should be calling him any moment to bail him
- 39:15Speaker 1: out of jail and send him straight to Milan to
- 39:18Speaker 1: the fashion runways.
- 39:22Speaker 2: He'd work it, for sure.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Betting Whistle like a champ.
- 39:30Speaker 2: I was like, can he see his eyes? They're like
- 39:34Speaker 2: glue shot.
- 39:36Speaker 1: This really is a mugshot for the ages because he
- 39:39Speaker 1: it's like this is either his O face or he's
- 39:46Speaker 1: still being taste as they take the photo. His mouth
- 39:52Speaker 1: looks like either sloth from Goonies or the toxic Avenger like.
- 39:57Speaker 2: That tooth loss is recent? Am I wrong?
- 40:00Speaker 1: Maybe yes? Maybe they taste him right in his mouth?
- 40:05Speaker 4: This is this is this is a beautiful, clear choice commercial.
- 40:08Speaker 4: What do you get the dental.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Implants in bizz a line or something?
- 40:12Speaker 4: Yeah, well that is it's invisible for sure. He can't
- 40:18Speaker 4: see it either because his eyes are closed.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yeah, he's struggling.
- 40:21Speaker 1: I mean, look there, you do bring up a solid point.
- 40:23Speaker 1: This is a great opportunity for a cosmetic dentist to
- 40:26Speaker 1: have an amazing after photo for this guy.
- 40:29Speaker 4: That looks like the face you make when they tell
- 40:30Speaker 4: you how much your bail is.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Well, considering he got arrested trying to sell twenty six
- 40:37Speaker 1: grams of cocaine, that's probably accurate.
- 40:39Speaker 4: And I love the Yeah, he shouldn't have been caught.
- 40:41Speaker 4: He needs to find out who sells Michael Urban his
- 40:43Speaker 4: back in the day, because he was lightning fastback in
- 40:47Speaker 4: his days. If this guy would have been selling to
- 40:52Speaker 4: Michael Urban, we would have never won a Super Bowl noe.
- 40:55Speaker 1: And you know what, people always talk about what's missing
- 40:58Speaker 1: from the Cowboys today versus the nineties, the glory days,
- 41:03Speaker 1: And apparently it has nothing to do with Jimmy Johnson,
- 41:07Speaker 1: but has everything to do with cocaine. I mean, sure,
- 41:11Speaker 1: you're gonna have some people run into some overpasses in
- 41:13Speaker 1: their cars and they're gonna get accused of us and things.
- 41:16Speaker 1: But still Lombardi trophies, hookers and blow. It's not just
- 41:21Speaker 1: my favorite Christmas book.
- 41:26Speaker 3: It was Jerry's mantra.
- 41:30Speaker 4: They had play calls like Okay, we're going for the
- 41:32Speaker 4: Colombian catch, that's what we're or when you're wide open,
- 41:36Speaker 4: he's like I got this.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean who like North Dallas forty The movie
- 41:41Speaker 1: may have actually been a precursor maybe that was what
- 41:43Speaker 1: Jimmy Johnson showed the guys before the nineteen ninety two
- 41:47Speaker 1: season to inspire them, is like, look, if you guys win,
- 41:51Speaker 1: you'll have all the hookers and blow that you can handle.
- 41:57Speaker 4: It'll be like University of Miami all over again. That's
- 42:00Speaker 4: exactly thinking about it.
- 42:01Speaker 5: Jimmy Johnson had Michael Michael Irvin in college and in
- 42:04Speaker 5: the pros and and and under his you know, you
- 42:07Speaker 5: never heard of any problem.
- 42:08Speaker 3: It wouldn't.
- 42:09Speaker 5: It was after Jimmy left that you really started having
- 42:11Speaker 5: the problems. And I think Jimmy had the proper reward
- 42:14Speaker 5: systems too good and blow.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Some people dangle carrots.
- 42:20Speaker 2: How many grams do you get per touchdown?
- 42:24Speaker 1: I think that I think that varies depending on your
- 42:27Speaker 1: status and how good of an agent you have.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Perfect It's it's no coincidence that Aikman was eight and
- 42:33Speaker 4: Irvin was eighty eight. Those were eight balls, is what
- 42:35Speaker 4: they're talking about.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I can't wait for this Netflix documentary. We better have
