Speaker 1: chapter eleven when one hundred and forty four thousand were

Speaker 1: chosen from all the tribes of Israel. Now, the Bible

Speaker 1: tells us what it means, and it means what it says, right.

Speaker 1: The Bible is the great interpreter of the Word, and

Speaker 1: so we know that these are all chosen from the

Speaker 1: nation of Israel, and it names the different tribes that

Speaker 1: they come from. So no these are not the one

Speaker 1: hundred and forty four thousand that golf is witness preach

Speaker 1: and claim this is not the one hundred and forty

Speaker 1: name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice

Speaker 1: from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like

Speaker 1: the voice of a loud thunder. Now let me let

Speaker 1: But man, let me just say a couple of comments

Speaker 1: on this, because first of all, this is completely refreshing.

Speaker 1: This is refreshing to see the lamb standing on Mount

Speaker 1: Zion because in chapter thirteen, man, we saw these beasts

Speaker 1: coming out of the sea. We saw a beast that

Speaker 1: had that was cloth like a lamb, but his voice

Speaker 1: was like a lion, I mean, a voice was like

Speaker 1: a dragon. We saw these grotesque creatures with seven heads

Speaker 1: and ten crowns and all this kind of crazy stuff.

Speaker 1: And we see the world just plunging into darkness. But

Speaker 1: here we go. We see the Lamb standing on Mount

Speaker 1: Zion and he's with his hundred in forty four thousand,

Speaker 1: who has his father's name written on their head. It's like, man,

Speaker 1: it's like God will always have a remnant, no matter

Speaker 1: how dark, and no matter how much this world will rebel,

Speaker 1: that will always be the faithful few. And it says,

Speaker 1: and I heard the sound of harps playing in heaven.

Speaker 1: Now the world is going through total chaos, you can

Speaker 1: just imagine. But Heaven is like a concert.

Speaker 1: We know that music can be peaceful. Music has to

Speaker 1: be in harmony. There's unity in heaven. Music. To play music,

Speaker 1: to play harps together, to have it all sound good,

Speaker 1: you gotta have an orchestra or you gotta have some

Speaker 1: type of rhythm. And it's beautiful. You're hearing beautiful music

Speaker 1: coming out of heaven. And in verse three they sang

Speaker 1: as it were a new song before the Throne, before

Speaker 1: the four living creatures and the elders now here, we

Speaker 1: are back at the Throne room. So there's music in

Speaker 1: the Throne room. Hallelujah. They're singing and there's rejoicing, and

Speaker 1: we looked at Remember, one of the keys to understanding

Speaker 1: the Book of Revelation is you gotta if you want

Speaker 1: to identify these groups, you identify them by the lyrics

Speaker 1: of their songs. So this is the third song that

Speaker 1: is introduced to us in heaven, and this is a

Speaker 1: completely different group. We know the Song of the Church.

Speaker 1: They were the first ones to sing, which leads me

Speaker 1: to believe that they're not gonna be on earth during

Speaker 1: the Great try relation. How can they be in heaven

Speaker 1: singing their song if they're still on earth. So they

Speaker 1: were the first group to sing. The second group where

Speaker 1: the Tribulation sings those who were slain, who gave their

Speaker 1: lives during the Great Tribulation, and they were given assignments

Speaker 1: as well to be the priest to serve in the

Speaker 1: temple of God, kind of like the tribe of Levi.

Speaker 1: And now here's the third song, and it says that

Speaker 1: they sang it as it were a new song before

Speaker 1: the Throne, before the four living creatures and the elders,

Speaker 1: and no one could learn that song except on one
12:44
Speaker 1: hundred and forty four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.

Speaker 1: So here is a whole new group that the other

Speaker 1: groups couldn't sing. The Church could not sing this song,

Speaker 1: the Tribune Saints could not sing this song, nor the

Speaker 1: angels could sing their song. Their song is exclusive to them.

Speaker 1: So that shows you who these people are and who's

Speaker 1: going to be in heaven. Now, they were redeemed from

Speaker 1: the earth. Now that's key in understanding this verse because

Speaker 1: it goes to say in verse four, these are the

Speaker 1: ones who were not defiled with women. Now that is amazing. Amen.

Speaker 1: And it says they were virgins. Now that leads you

Speaker 1: to ask a question. Okay, they were versions and they

Speaker 1: are not defiled with women. Now, of course, we know

Speaker 1: that we can defile ourselves with women if we interact

Speaker 1: with women outside of marriage, so that's a given, or

Speaker 1: if we you know, cheat on our wives or anything

Speaker 1: else like that. But what about marriage, right, I mean,

Speaker 1: that's just a question that I have because it says

Speaker 1: that they were virgins. Now, well, we got to go

Speaker 1: to the word of God. The Word of God tells

Speaker 1: us that marriage is the marriage bed is undefiled. So no,

Speaker 1: this does not go against marriage or anything like that.

Speaker 1: Or this could mean spiritually as well, that they were virgins,

Speaker 1: that they didn't bow down to the antichrist system or

Speaker 1: bow their knee to the beast. And it says these

Speaker 1: are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These

Speaker 1: were redeemed from among men. Now this says it's sect

Speaker 1: the second time, that they were redeemed from among men,

Speaker 1: and being first fruits to God and to the Lamb

Speaker 1: right and in their mouth was found no deceit, for

Speaker 1: they were without fault before the throne of God. Hallelujah.

Speaker 1: Now I'm gonna park here for a second. I wanna

Speaker 1: break it down. At first glimpse of this group, you

Speaker 1: would say, wow, these are a special elite group. These

Speaker 1: must be some special saints. They have like a special assignment,

Speaker 1: a special gift, right like they must be standing out

Speaker 1: from everyone else. But ask yourself this, were you not redeemed?

Speaker 1: It says in verse three, they were redeemed from the earth.

Speaker 1: Are you not from the earth? And is not God

Speaker 1: doing a work of redemption in your life? And once

Speaker 1: you have been redeemed the blood of Jesus washes away sin,

Speaker 1: so then you become a virgin. It doesn't matter your

Speaker 1: background and your history. If you've been sexually and more

Speaker 1: with all, God washes away and he looks at you

Speaker 1: as if you never sin. And then they followed the

Speaker 1: lamb wherever he goes. Is that not what we are

Speaker 1: called to do? Doesn't the Bible says that the children

Speaker 1: of God are led by his spirit. If we're not

Speaker 1: doing that, then we're not I mean, what are we doing? Man?

Speaker 1: It says again that they were redeemed from among men?

Speaker 1: Are we not redeemed from among men? And doesn't the

Speaker 1: Bible say that we are the first type of first

Speaker 1: fruits of His creation, the first fruits of God. In

Speaker 1: the lamb right and in their mouth was found no

Speaker 1: deceit are we supposed to be? What does the scripture say?

Speaker 1: Are we supposed to be deceiving people? In lying? And

Speaker 1: what does the Bible promises? That Jesus is able to

Speaker 1: present us before the Father without fault before God? So

Speaker 1: all I'm saying is that we should be able to

Speaker 1: relate with this group. We should These are our brothers

Speaker 1: and sisters. We should look alike. This is who we

Speaker 1: should strive to be in a nutshell. This is how

Speaker 1: he wants his church. This is the work He's doing

Speaker 1: in our lives today. We are supposed to be looking

Speaker 1: like the one hundred and forty four thousand. They're not

Speaker 1: so mean special group that no one can attain this.

Speaker 1: if you're young enough to where you're still a version,

Speaker 1: look at how God looks at you, how God will

Speaker 1: set you apart. Amen? All right? Verse six and I

Speaker 1: saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having

Speaker 1: the Everlasting Gospel to preach to those who draw, to

Speaker 1: who dwell on the earth, to every nation, tribe, tongue,

Speaker 1: and people, saying with a loud voice, fear God and

Speaker 1: give glory to Him, for the hour of his judgment

Speaker 1: has come. And worship Him who made heaven and earth,

Speaker 1: the sea, and the springs of water. Amen. And this

Speaker 1: is the message that God has been trying to give

Speaker 1: through this whole book. Like He is a god who

Speaker 1: created the springs of water, everything that he judged, everything

Speaker 1: that was cursed. He has power over them. And the

Speaker 1: reason why is because you're worshiping other gods. This is

Speaker 1: the trouble he had with the nation of Israel from Genesis.

Speaker 1: He is saying, worship him. Nothing else is worthy, No

Speaker 1: one else is worthy of our worship. Fear God and

Speaker 1: give him glory. And then another angel follows, saying, Babylon

Speaker 1: is falling, is falling the great city, because she has

Speaker 1: made all nations. Drink of the wine and of the

Speaker 1: wrath of her for on a cation. Then a third

Speaker 1: angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if anyone

Speaker 1: worships the beasts in his image and receives his mark

Speaker 1: on his forehead or on his right hand, he himself

Speaker 1: shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God,

Speaker 1: which has poured out full strength into the cup of

Speaker 1: his indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone

Speaker 1: in the presence of the Holy angels, and in the

Speaker 1: presence of the lamb, and the smoke of their torment,

Speaker 1: as sinds forever and ever, and they have no rest

Speaker 1: day or night. Who worshiped the beasts and His name,

Speaker 1: and whoever receives the mark of his name, Here is

Speaker 1: the patience of the saints. Here are the those who

Speaker 1: keep the commandments of God. God and the faith of Jesus.

Speaker 1: from their labors, and their works follow them. Now highlight

Speaker 1: the fact that their works follow them. We're going to

Speaker 1: behold a white cloud. And on the cloud sat one

Speaker 1: like the son of Man, having on his head a

Speaker 1: golden crown and his hand a sharp sickle. And another

Speaker 1: angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud

Speaker 1: voice to him who sat on the cloud, thrust in

Speaker 1: your sickle and reap, for the time has come for

Speaker 1: you to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

Speaker 1: So he who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle

Speaker 1: on the earth, and the earth was reaped. Then another

Speaker 1: angel came out of the temple which is in heaven,

Speaker 1: he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came

Speaker 1: out from the altar who had power over fire, and

Speaker 1: he cried with a loud cry to him who had

Speaker 1: the sharp sickle, saying, thrust in your sharp sickle and

Speaker 1: gather the clusters of the whine of the earth, for

Speaker 1: her grapes are fully ripe. So the angel thrust his

Speaker 1: sharp sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of

Speaker 1: the earth and threw it into the great wine press

Speaker 1: of the wrath of God. And the wine press was

Speaker 1: trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the

Speaker 1: wine press up to the horse's bridle for one thousand,

Speaker 1: six hundred furlongs. All right, that was a lot unless

Speaker 1: break it down. We're gonna get some good, some nuggets

Speaker 1: hidden sin, any presumptuous, anything that would presume upon your grace, God,

Speaker 1: loved ones. Old God, help us, Old God to get

Speaker 1: Like I said earlier, Mount Zion represents the heavenly Jerusalem.

Speaker 1: The one hundred and forty four thousand are sealed. They

Speaker 1: are spiritually protected, identified with God and not with the beast. Amen,

Speaker 1: Father of my forehead. Allelujah. Now we see a clear picture.

Speaker 1: and forty four thousand. And this song is very exclusive,

Speaker 1: and loyalty and purity in the midst of persecution is

Speaker 1: celebrated in heaven. Now this shows how Heaven celebrates faithfulness

Speaker 1: when you stand for Christ. Now, Heaven will sing about

Speaker 1: it later. How many of us have heard songs in

Speaker 1: the past that really have impacted our lives. I mean,

Speaker 1: when I was younger, music was like my script for life.

Speaker 1: Music told me how to walk, talk, and I would

Speaker 1: fall deeply in love through music. The music opened the

Speaker 1: door for me to fall in love or even have

Speaker 1: a greater dimension. It's just there's something powerful about music.

Speaker 1: And just think about the music, the tributes that we've heard.

Speaker 1: I know there's a tribute about Marvin Gay when he

Speaker 1: had passed away, and tribute about different heroes and different people.

Speaker 1: There's different legends that we know of growing up in

Speaker 1: their songs, and you know, different events that has happened

Speaker 1: in life. And there's been different moves and there's different

Speaker 1: song tracks. Right there's a sound that goes with certain

Speaker 1: movements for good or evil. Right now, imagine for all eternity.

Speaker 1: But don't we gotta get out of our finite minds.

Speaker 1: We think that, Okay, once they go to heaven, they're

Speaker 1: gonna sing this song once and bam, we're gonna forget

Speaker 1: about it. And you don't move on. No, for all eternity,

Speaker 1: they're the only ones who can sing this song for

Speaker 1: all eternity. We gotta listen. We gotta be quiet. We

Speaker 1: gotta be silent and just listen in as they enter

Speaker 1: into an intimate place of worship, as they sing this song.

Speaker 1: that the others can't sing, and so do the tribulation
