First-Grade Teacher Builds School Disc Golf Course | Washington DC News
A first-grade teacher turned a simple after-school disc golf club into a full-fledged, permanent course called Rhino Ridge at A.S. Rhodes Elementary—now open to students and the public, attracting players from out of state. Started in 2019 with just a few kids and a cardboard target, the club has grown to 50+ regular participants, fostering teamwork, patience, and outdoor fun.
