- 0:04Fred, you better hurry or you'll be late for work.
- 0:08Where's Barney? I don't know.
- 0:10You better give him a call. Hey, Barney, hurry or we'll be
- 0:15late for work. I meant use the phone, Fred.
- 0:19You probably woke up Pebbles. Oh, sorry, Wilma.
- 0:26There you are. Bon hurry, we're going to be.
- 0:28Late. I'm not going to work today,
- 0:31Fred. I have to stay home and watch
- 0:34Bam Bam. Is he not feeling well?
- 0:36I can send Wilm over to pray for him.
- 0:38No, he's fine. He was kicked out of daycare
- 0:41yesterday, so Betty has to go meet with the daycare lady this
- 0:45morning who did. Bam bam hit this time.
- 0:48Some guy from the Science Museum was teaching about how the world
- 0:51started. Bam bam, thought he said.
- 0:53Big bam theory. You like the professor in the
- 0:57head. Did someone say Big Bang Theory?
- 1:02Bam Bam. Learned about it in daycare
- 1:04yesterday. It's about how the universe was
- 1:06created. You know, a big explosion.
- 1:14Sense do you? What do you mean?
- 1:22Careful now, Wilma Rubble is our last name.
- 1:26Oh, Barney, I didn't mean it like that.
- 1:31I know, but to answer your question, yes, one time Bam Bam
- 1:35clobbered a block of ice and it exploded into itty bitty pieces.
- 1:39We made snow cones out of it. I remember that.
- 1:46Betty. Barney Bam Bam just broke the
- 1:49dining room table again. What?
- 1:52Why? How?
- 1:54We were sitting down eating a bowl of cereal when we heard
- 1:57Wilma asking did someone say Big Bang Theory?
- 2:04Pebbles says Bam Bam doesn't like The Big Bang theory because
- 2:07he knows God made the earth. How does he know that?
- 2:11Well, the little fella probably learned it in children's church.
- 2:14He's been going every Sunday with pebbles.
- 2:17Wait a minute, Fred, are you saying God made the earth?
- 2:21He made the earth and everything in it.
- 2:24Yabba dabba Doo. So maybe God made the explosion.
- 2:28Barney, aren't you listening? There was no explosion in
- 2:33creation. God spoke it into existence,
- 2:37Genesis 1/3 says. God said let there be light and
- 2:42there was light, and that's how he made the earth and everything
- 2:46in it. So Wilma, do you think Fred and
- 2:49Barney evolved from monkeys? Well, Betty, you and I
- 2:53definitely not. But Fred and Barney, I'm not too
- 2:57sure. Very funny.
- 3:02Everybody knows we Carl evolved from monkeys.
- 3:06Bonnie, Genesis 127 says so. God created human beings in his
- 3:10own image, in the image of God. He created them.
- 3:13Male and female, He created them.
- 3:16And everything reproduces after its own kind.
- 3:20People produce people, apple seeds produce apples, and so on.
- 3:25What will the means is monkeys don't produce people, they only
- 3:29produce other monkeys. So I can quit going to the zoo
- 3:32to visit Uncle Tony? Bonnie, why don't you and Betty
- 3:39come to church with us this Sunday?
- 3:41Please, Barney, I've been trying to get him to go ever since you
- 3:45invited Bam Bam. Come on Barney, come to church
- 3:49with us. All right, we'll go.
- 3:53Right, I'd better get to work. Bye, Fred.
- 3:57Bye, Fred. Bye, Fred.
- 4:00So, Wilma, you think Bam Bam got upset at that science professor
- 4:03for teaching The Big Bang theory?
- 4:05Bam. Bam ow.
- 4:07That was my head. Bam bam.
- 4:09I guess that answers my question.
- 4:14You know, I think I'll just call it daycare and cancel.
- 4:18I don't think we want our son going to a school where they
- 4:21teach things like that. I'm with you buddy.
- 4:25Well, I'll go take a nap then. I have a headache all of a
- 4:28sudden. Barney.
- 4:30I know I'm going to work, Fred, wait for me.
- 4:43So God created man in his own image.
- 4:46In the image of God, he created him.
- 4:49Male and female, He created them.
- 4:52You, Fred, got a minute? Sure, Bon, come on in.
- 4:58We're our wives. There in the other room, what's
- 5:02on your mind? I'm worried about Betty.
- 5:05Ever since we started going to your church, she's been hearing
- 5:09things. What do you mean?
- 5:11Well the other day she was fixing dinner in the kitchen.
- 5:15I heard her say yes Lord like God was talking to her.
- 5:20Only I didn't hear anything. She's at the food on the table
- 5:23and said God told her to go pray.
- 5:25So she went to the bedroom without eating dinner.
- 5:28I'm not sure what's worse, hearing imaginary voices or
- 5:32skipping a meal. Bon, you have nothing to worry
- 5:36about. She is hearing the voice of God
- 5:38and obeying Him. But I was there in the kitchen.
- 5:42I didn't hear any voice. God is a spirit.
- 5:45Bon. God made us in his image.
- 5:48That means we are spirit beings. True.
- 5:51He gave us a body for our spirits to live in and a soul
- 5:54which is our mind, our will, and our emotions.
- 5:58We are three-part being, just like God is.
- 6:01So when God wants to talk to us, one of the ways He does so is to
- 6:05our spirits. You don't hear His voice with
- 6:08your ears, you hear it with your spirit man.
- 6:11Wow, and I used to think we came from monkeys.
- 6:17Hey, you just gave me an idea. Do you still have that monkey
- 6:21costume? Yeah, why do you ask?
- 6:24We could play a little joke on the ladies.
- 6:31Good idea, Fred. I'll go put it on.
- 6:36Was that Barney we just heard? Yeah, but he had something he
- 6:40had to go do. He was acting a little strange.
- 6:44Stranger than normal. Very funny, Betty.
- 6:48So what were you and Barney talking about, Fred?
- 6:51The Bible. He's really having a hard time
- 6:54with the whole creation thing. He still thinks we came from
- 6:57monkeys. You're kidding.
- 6:59I thought he was over that. No, in fact, he said he has
- 7:04proof that he came from a monkey.
- 7:06Really. And what proof does he have?
- 7:09I don't know, He didn't say. That's when he left.
- 7:13I'll be right back. I have to go outside and check
- 7:16on something. Betty, are you thinking what I'm
- 7:21thinking? Yes, they're up to something.
- 7:25Wait a minute. Remember a few weeks ago I made
- 7:28the comment that Bonnie and Fred might have come from monkeys?
- 7:31Yes. Oh, you don't think?
- 7:35Yes, I do. Doesn't Barney have a monkey
- 7:38costume? He sure does.
- 7:40Let's play along with them. Even better than that, we'll
- 7:44play a joke on them too. Barney, what are you doing in
- 7:55that tree? Fred, don't tell Betty.
- 7:59Uh oh, it sounds like they've started.
- 8:02I'll go make the phone call. Betty, do you see what Bonnie is
- 8:09doing out there? I'll look out the window and see
- 8:12Fred Barney Rubble. You get in here right this
- 8:16instant. Fred, what am I going to do?
- 8:20My husband is a monkey. I guess that explains his
- 8:23problem with being made in God's image.
- 8:26All these years of being married, I never knew.
- 8:32What's wrong, Betty? It's.
- 8:34Barney. He really is a monkey.
- 8:38Yeah, Fred, Betty and Wilma both fainted.
- 8:43Maybe this isn't such a good idea, Fred.
- 8:46Are you kidding? This is better than I expected.
- 8:49I don't know, Fred. We better make sure they're OK.
- 8:53All right, but keep the monkey suit on, Barney.
- 8:56Let's have a little more fun with him.
- 8:58Wilma, are you OK? Betty, it's just me, Barney.
- 9:03Oh. Barney, you're a monkey.
- 9:06How could you keep a thing like this a secret from me?
- 9:10I didn't want you to ever find out, Betty.
- 9:13I thought maybe you wouldn't love me anymore if you ever
- 9:15found out the truth. Fred, how can this be possible?
- 9:20I don't know, except maybe we're not really created in God's
- 9:24image. Maybe we did come from monkeys.
- 9:26Speak for yourself, Fred. Maybe you came from a monkey,
- 9:31and obviously Barney did, but I didn't come from a monkey.
- 9:35Neither did I. Oh, Betty, by the way, we're out
- 9:39of bananas. I can go to the store and get
- 9:42some more Barney. That will be easier than fixing
- 9:45dinner. Well, a man, not so fast.
- 9:49Who could that be? I don't know.
- 9:53I'll go check. Barney's right over there, Mr.
- 9:57Barnum. What?
- 9:58Who's he? I'm from the Bedrock zoo.
- 10:01We got an anonymous call that there was a monkey swinging in
- 10:05the trees. Well, I was swinging in the
- 10:08tree, but I'm no monkey, you look.
- 10:11Like a monkey. If you were swinging in the
- 10:14tree, then you act like a monkey.
- 10:16That makes you a monkey. Come with me.
- 10:19Unless you want me to get my tranquilizer gun.
- 10:24Fred, do something. Wait, it's a joke.
- 10:28He's not really a monkey. We were just having a little fun
- 10:32with our wives. You mean Barney is not really a
- 10:35monkey? No, we just wanted to play a
- 10:38little trick on you. So Barney does believe we were
- 10:42created in God's image. Yes, of course he does.
- 10:46Nobody in their right mind would believe otherwise.
- 10:49Fred, you owe Betty and I an apology.
- 10:53I'm sorry. I forgive you, Fred.
- 10:56So do I Well. What are we waiting for?
- 11:00We have to rescue Barney. What do you think, Betty?
- 11:03Should we get Barney out of the zoo?
- 11:05Maybe we should let him eat a few meals there first, Wilma,
- 11:09Then he'd appreciate my cooking more.
- 11:13Listen you 2 they're going to put Bonnie in a monkey cage if
- 11:16we don't do something. He may be right, Wilma.
- 11:19Oh, all right, Roger, you can let him go now.
- 11:25Yes, ma'am, Misses Flintstone. Thanks for your help Roger.
- 11:29Say hi to your wife for me. Will do.
- 11:33You 2 know each other. His wife is in my book club.
- 11:37I'd better be going, Wilma. I need to start making dinner
- 11:42and M's going to be hungry and I don't have any more bananas for
- 11:46him to snack on. All right, buddy, I'll call you
- 11:51later. Bon, looks like this joke was on
- 11:56us. They get us every time.
- 11:58How do they do it, Bon? They're pretty smart, Fred.
- 12:01Smarter than the average monkey? Wilma, Wilma.
- 12:14Hi, Betty. I was just hanging up the
- 12:16laundry. Did you see the news this
- 12:19morning? No, I haven't had time to look
- 12:22at it. What's it say?
- 12:23Elvis Roxley is coming to Bedrock next week for a concert.
- 12:28Oh, Fred will never let me go. He says that Elvis Roxley is a
- 12:32wolf in sheep's clothing. What do you mean?
- 12:36A wolf in sheep's clothing is someone who claims to love God
- 12:39but is really out to do harm to people.
- 12:42I never knew that about Elvis Roxley.
- 12:45Anyway, Fred will never go for it.
- 12:47But Elvis Roxley is such a good singer and he's so good looking.
- 12:53I know. What am I going to do?
- 12:57Barney is buying me two tickets, one for me and one for you.
- 13:02Barney doesn't want to go. He says he doesn't like Elvis
- 13:06Roxley. Men, what do they know?
- 13:12I'll talk to Fred. We can't let those tickets go to
- 13:15waste, Wilma. I can't find my clothes.
- 13:19I just hung them up to dry. Got to go.
- 13:23I'll call you with the good news.
- 13:24See you, Wilma. Fred, I need to talk to you
- 13:30about something when you finish getting dressed.
- 13:34What is it, Wilma? Fred Betty has two tickets to
- 13:37the Elvis Roxley concert next week and she wants me to go with
- 13:41her. Great.
- 13:43You don't care if we go. No.
- 13:45Why should I care? Elvis Roxley is a wolf.
- 13:48Elvis Roxley is a wolf like a werewolf.
- 13:52Just this morning I heard you say Elvis was a wolf in sheep's
- 13:56clothing. I was reading the paper and I
- 13:58saw this ad for his concert. I said Elvis was a goof in cheap
- 14:03clothing. Do you really think his clothes
- 14:06are cheap? No Elvis Roxley clothes probably
- 14:09cost more than I can afford to wear.
- 14:11And do you really think he's? A goof?
- 14:14Well, no, I just don't like him, that's all.
- 14:18Fred Flintstone You shouldn't go around calling people names just
- 14:23because you don't like them. Aren't you supposed to love
- 14:26everybody, Mr. Christian man? You're right Father, forgive me
- 14:32for calling Elvis Roxley names. Help me to love him the way you
- 14:36do in Jesus name, Amen. I think you should apologize to
- 14:41Elvis in person. And how am I supposed to do
- 14:45that? I'll think of something.
- 14:47All right, it's a deal. You figure out a way for me to
- 14:50meet Elvis Roxley in person, and I'll gladly apologize to him.
- 14:55Deal. I'm going to go tell Betty the
- 14:57good news. I'll go with you.
- 15:00This is a great opportunity for Barney and me to play a few
- 15:03rounds of golf. No, this is a great opportunity
- 15:07for Barney and you to babysit the kids.
- 15:10We can still golf, mini golf. Kids will like that.
- 15:17You, Fred, did Wilma tell you the good news?
- 15:21They're not going to the Elvis Roxley concert after all, so we
- 15:24can go play golf. Next week.
- 15:26Gee, if that's the case, I just wasted 40 smackers on those two
- 15:31tickets I just bought. Yeah, Wilma told me about the
- 15:34concert. She's all excited.
- 15:37What is it with that Elvis Roxley?
- 15:39What's he got that we ain't got? I don't know and I don't care.
- 15:43Come on, Fred, every woman in Bedrock thinks Elvis Ruxley is
- 15:47handsome. That's why none of us guys like
- 15:50him. All right, I'll admit I do like
- 15:53his songs. So what's he got that we ain't
- 15:56got? There's only one way to find
- 15:58out, Bonnie, you and I are going to a concert next.
- 16:02Week What about the kids? We'll take them with us, but we
- 16:06can't let our wives know. We'll sit in the back and see
- 16:09just what Elvis Roxley has that we don't have.
- 16:12Come on Bon, we have to buy some tickets before they sell out.
- 16:16Whatever you say, Fred. Wilburn.
- 16:26Be right there buddy. Bye Fred.
- 16:29Have fun with pebbles. Oh, don't worry about us, dear.
- 16:33Have a good time at the concert. That's strange.
- 16:37Fred usually complaints about me leaving Pebbles at home with
- 16:40him. Yeah, Bonnie does the same
- 16:42thing, but not today. He seemed fine.
- 16:46Do you think they may be up to something?
- 16:48Who cares? We're going to see all this,
- 16:50Roxley. Ghost is clear.
- 16:56Fred Bam bam bam bam says Ghost is clear too.
- 17:00All right, Barney, let's go see what this Elvis Roxley has that
- 17:04we don't have. Are you sure about this, Fred?
- 17:07I mean, what if the girls see us?
- 17:09That's part of my plan, Barney. Let's go, Pebbles.
- 17:14Wait a minute, Fred, you want Wilma and Betty to see us?
- 17:19If not us, then at least me. Trust me, Bon.
- 17:22I know you think I've lost my mind, but trust me.
- 17:25I never said you lost your mind, Fred.
- 17:28How can you lose something you've never heard a long?
- 19:44Brad, what on earth are you doing here?
- 19:47I thought you didn't like Elvis Roxley.
- 19:50I'm tired of everybody going Gaga over Elvis Roxley.
- 19:54I just wanted to prove to you that Elvis doesn't have anything
- 19:58I don't have. Well, there's one thing Elvis
- 20:01has that you don't Police protection.
- 20:05All right, buddy, you're under arrest.
- 20:07Let's go. We're very sorry, Mr. Roxley,
- 20:16for any trouble our husband's caused you.
- 20:18That goes double for me. Barney shouldn't have grabbed
- 20:22you around the neck like that and then Bam Bam clobbering you
- 20:26backstage. I hope Bam Bam didn't hurt you.
- 20:30He gets carried away with that club of his.
- 20:33Well, he does pack a pretty good wallop.
- 20:37I'm just sorry I was unconscious when the police arrived.
- 20:40I could have prevented their arrest.
- 20:42After what Fred did, he deserved to go to jail.
- 20:46Barney too. Well, I used to think that way,
- 20:49but I don't think the same anymore.
- 20:51Not since Jesus came into my heart.
- 20:54I'm a new creature now. God has changed my life.
- 20:58Your jailbird husbands are home. Yeah, Mr. Roxley dropped the
- 21:03churches. I guess he realized my singing
- 21:06is not a crime. Actually, you sounded pretty
- 21:09good, at least the part I heard before I went unconscious.
- 21:13Mr. Roxley. Please call me Elvis.
- 21:17What are you doing here, Elvis? Is that all you have to say,
- 21:22Fred? I'm really sorry for ruining
- 21:25your concert. Yeah, me too.
- 21:28If I'd known Fred was that pet of a singer, I'd have never got
- 21:32along with it. Yeah.
- 21:35Fred, I believe you have something else you need to
- 21:39apologize for. What are you talking about,
- 21:42Wilma? Remember last week when I asked
- 21:45you about going to the Elvis Roxley concert and you said he
- 21:49was a goof in cheap clothing? You said I was a goof in cheap
- 21:57clothing. You said if I could arrange a
- 22:01meeting with him, you would apologize to him, Fred.
- 22:09I'm sorry, I said you were a goof.
- 22:11Why would you say? That I didn't want to go to your
- 22:14concert because my wife loves to hear you sing and I guess I was
- 22:18a little jealous. Bonnie and I ended up going to
- 22:21see what you had that we didn't have.
- 22:24That's when I decided to prove to her that I could sing just as
- 22:27good as you. That's a nice story, Mr.
- 22:29Flintstone. Please call me Fred.
- 22:32Fred, I forgive you. I'd better be going.
- 22:36Please stay for dinner, it's the least we can do for all the
- 22:40trouble our husbands caused. Well, I don't have anywhere to
- 22:44go until tomorrow morning, so why not?
- 22:46Did you hear that, Bond? We're having dinner with Elvis
- 22:50Roxley. Yabba Dabba Doo, Wilma.
- 22:59I've had it. We're moving.
- 23:02Oh, hi, Fred. I didn't hear you come in.
- 23:05Did you say something? I said.
- 23:07Now, Fred, what have I told you about yelling?
- 23:10I don't listen when you yell. Talk in a normal tone of voice,
- 23:14please. I've had it with those rubbles.
- 23:17Start packing. We're moving.
- 23:19Now, Fred, what about dinner? Well, I suppose we could eat
- 23:23first. I'm starved.
- 23:26Good. We'll talk about it over dinner.
- 23:29By the way, I invited the rebels over to eat with us.
- 23:32I hope you don't mind. Why would I mind?
- 23:35Barney's my best friend. You what?
- 23:39Bam bam, bam bam. Campbell's is probably in her
- 23:44room. Bam bam.
- 23:45Why don't you go find her? Hey ya Fred, long time no see.
- 23:51Long time no hear is more like it.
- 23:54Wasn't that Fred that just yelled at us over the fence a
- 23:57few minutes ago? It looked like Fred Betty, but I
- 24:00don't think it was him. It doesn't make sense to
- 24:03threaten to move away because we live next door and then invite
- 24:06us over for dinner. Very funny.
- 24:09And for your information, I didn't invite you over for
- 24:12dinner, Wilma did. And as soon as we're finished
- 24:15eating, Wilma and I are packing. Dinner should be ready in a few
- 24:19minutes now, Fred, why was it that you were wanting to move?
- 24:24I'm tired of coming home every day and listening to that rebel
- 24:27boy singing at the top of his lungs.
- 24:30Are you talking about Bam Bam? That's the one.
- 24:33He's the only boy we have. Now Fred Bam Bam is just trying
- 24:38his best to sing praises to God. What is so wrong with that?
- 24:43He doesn't know the words. He's singing songs like Jesus
- 24:47Loves Me, Kiss My Toe. He's just ticket Fred.
- 24:52He's still learning. Well you should make him stop
- 24:55until he learns the right words. You shouldn't be singing songs
- 24:59with words mixed up like that. What does God think when Bam Bam
- 25:02sings those kind of song? He's got the whole world in a
- 25:07van. As long as he's praising God
- 25:10from his heart, it doesn't matter if the words are a little
- 25:14mixed up. But he's right, Fred.
- 25:16For heaven's sake, Bam Bam doesn't even know that he's
- 25:19singing the words wrong. Wrong words are right words.
- 25:23The devil doesn't like kids praising God.
- 25:25Remember when the children were praising God as Jesus rode into
- 25:29Jerusalem on a donkey? The Pharisees wanted Jesus to
- 25:32make them stop. You know, if I didn't know any
- 25:36better, I'd say you were listening to the devil.
- 25:39Now, Barney. It's true, Betty.
- 25:42The Bible says that our praise stops the devil and makes him be
- 25:45quiet. The devil doesn't like it when
- 25:48we praise God, and especially when a child praises God.
- 25:51It's bad enough to get beat up by an adult like Fred, but if
- 25:55you were the devil and a little kid like Pebbles beat you up,
- 25:59that would really make you mad. Barney's right, Fred, Psalm 82
- 26:04says through the praise of children and infants, you have
- 26:08established A stronghold against your enemies.
- 26:11And John 424 says those who worship God must worship in
- 26:16spirit and in truth. It doesn't say anything about
- 26:20getting all the words right. There was nothing any of you can
- 26:23say to make me change my mind. Wilma.
- 26:27We are moving after dinner and that's final.
- 26:31Bam. Bam.
- 26:32Quiet, everybody, Bam Bam, says Pebbles wants to sing a song
- 26:37Jesus loves. Root.
- 26:42Chickens. Other chickens on the girl.
- 26:46Did you hear that Wilma Pebbles is praising God?
- 26:50I heard Fred, that was beautiful.
- 26:53Pebbles. God likes it when you sing to
- 26:55Him. Hey Bon, did you hear my little
- 26:58girl Bam Bam must have taught her to praise God.
- 27:01I don't know, Fred. I don't know if I would call
- 27:04that praising God. It sounded to me like Pebbles
- 27:07was praising the dinner Wilma's cooking.
- 27:09Barney, Fred's trying to apologize and you're making
- 27:14jokes. Sorry, Betty.
- 27:16Fred, were you trying to apologize for complaining about
- 27:18my son's singing? I am well.
- 27:23Go ahead, Fred, you're not eating any of that chicken on
- 27:26the grill that God loves until you do.
- 27:29Hey Bonnie, I guess I was just having a bad day.
- 27:33I probably was listening to the devil a little.
- 27:36I'm sorry Bonn, for not walking in love toward you and bam bam.
- 27:40From now on, I'm going to try to believe the best of others.
- 27:44Apology accepted, Fred. Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam.
- 27:49Bam says he forgives you too, Bam.
- 27:54What did he say that time? He says he's ready for some of
- 27:57that chicken Pebbles was singing about.
