- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, good morning. Welcome to Wednesday. Thank you for
- 0:05Speaker 2: starting it right here with us.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez has those three things presented by Mark Spain
- 0:09Speaker 3: Real Estate.
- 0:10Speaker 2: What is happening, Ricky?
- 0:11Speaker 4: Robert Pattinson has given an update on Batman Part 2.
- 0:15Speaker 4: He confirmed that the movie has resumed.
- 0:18Speaker 5: Production, which is great news.
- 0:20Speaker 4: They had a brief pause due to director Matt Reeves'
- 0:22Speaker 4: family emergency, but it looks like Steven Soderbergh is going
- 0:26Speaker 4: to step in to finish filming while working closely with Reeves.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Robert is expected to return to set in the coming
- 0:33Speaker 4: days along with his castmates. And Batman Part 2 is
- 0:37Speaker 4: scheduled to hit theaters on February 18th of 2028. Obviously,
- 0:40Speaker 4: with wanting to stick to that timeline, they did have
- 0:42Speaker 4: to kind of figure out something. They had to get
- 0:45Speaker 4: a little, you know, creative with how they were going to.
- 0:47Speaker 5: Keep this going. So all really great news.
- 0:50Speaker 4: It's going to be obviously a little wild, but we're
- 0:54Speaker 4: really excited to see what it's all about. Nashville has
- 0:57Speaker 4: been named as a finalist for the NCAA Men's Final Four.
- 1:01Speaker 4: The locations for both the men's and the women's Final
- 1:03Speaker 4: Fours are set for 2031. But they're looking at potential
- 1:06Speaker 4: hosts for 2032 through 2036.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Oh, my goodness. How crazy is that?
- 1:11Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:12Speaker 5: You're in 2036.
- 1:12Speaker 7: Wild.
- 1:15Speaker 4: With more cities opening domed stadiums for NFL teams, the
- 1:18Speaker 4: potential pool for the Final Four hosts is expanding, including Nashville,
- 1:23Speaker 4: which has never been a host city before.
- 1:25Speaker 5: So this would be huge for us. I'll keep you
- 1:27Speaker 5: posted on what they decide and if they end up
- 1:29Speaker 5: picking Nashville.
- 1:31Speaker 4: September is the month with the most birthdays, proving that
- 1:35Speaker 4: the holidays really.
- 1:36Speaker 5: You know, just get people going, okay? Many of the
- 1:39Speaker 5: most common birthdays fall between September 9th and September.
- 1:42Speaker 4: 20th, which just happens to be about nine months.
- 1:45Speaker 5: After the previous holiday season. The least common birthdays are
- 1:50Speaker 5: major holidays.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Christmas Day ranks as the rarest birthday in America if
- 1:54Speaker 4: you don't count Leap Day, which is February 29th, which
- 1:57Speaker 4: makes sense because it's only every four years. So, yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 4: basically what you assumed is true.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:04Speaker 5: The holidays are that time. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those
- 2:07Speaker 5: are the three things you need to know.
- 2:08Speaker 3: My wife was born in September, so I'm just thinking
- 2:11Speaker 3: about her parents now, you know?
- 2:12Speaker 6: Ew!
- 2:13Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not thinking about it. I'm just thinking,
- 2:15Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Ricky set us up.
- 2:17Speaker 5: It's gotten too far. I should have assumed this would happen.
- 2:20Speaker 3: You're right okay well thank you for that ricky appreciate
- 2:23Speaker 3: you as always uh we've got tickets to see matchbox
- 2:25Speaker 3: 20 and the all-american rejects coming up in just a
- 2:27Speaker 3: few minutes for the first caller of the day right

- 2:33Speaker 3: jingle ball because we'll see her at jingle ball get
- 2:35Speaker 3: your tickets 107.5 the river.com.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Ricky zach and mano in the morning.
- 2:40Speaker 3: There's bruno mars it's 107.5 the river we've got megan
- 2:43Speaker 3: in bowling green kentucky joining us on the phone right
- 2:46Speaker 3: now how's it going megan I'm great.
- 2:48Speaker 7: How are you?
- 2:49Speaker 6: No good.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Now that you're here, you have good energy.
- 2:52Speaker 4: I'm excited.
- 2:53Speaker 3: All week, we've been asking our first callers about their
- 2:56Speaker 3: Halloween plans.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Are you looking forward to it? Do you have a costume?
- 2:59Speaker 2: What are you doing? Oh, yeah.
- 3:01Speaker 7: We're having a Halloween party.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Well, we're going to a Halloween party, and I'm going
- 3:05Speaker 4: to be a witch.
- 3:06Speaker 7: My son is going to be Harry Potter, so I
- 3:08Speaker 7: have to be a witch, too.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Oh, that's sweet.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I'm a witch every day, so it really wouldn't mean
- 3:14Speaker 4: much if I dressed up as one for Halloween.
- 3:16Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Me too.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Are you doing like a specific character from Harry Potter or.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Just like a witch?
- 3:24Speaker 7: No, I thought about it, but I'm just going to
- 3:26Speaker 7: do a witch because I keep a broom and a
- 3:30Speaker 7: witch hat, so why not?
- 3:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:32Speaker 8: What do you mean you just keep a witch hat?
- 3:35Speaker 4: Yeah, just in case I need it, you know? We
- 3:37Speaker 4: were just saying we're witches every day. Like, you got
- 3:39Speaker 4: to have a witch hat if you're a witch.
- 3:41Speaker 2: This is what I'm picturing.
- 3:42Speaker 8: You go to Megan's house, and she's like, here, I'll
- 3:44Speaker 8: take your jacket. And she goes to, like, put it
- 3:46Speaker 8: in the little coat closet, and you open it up,
- 3:47Speaker 8: and there's a witch hat just randomly sitting there.
- 3:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:50Speaker 7: How did you know?
- 3:52Speaker 5: See, I don't feel like it's that weird, Megan.
- 3:54Speaker 2: This sounds normal to me.
- 3:56Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 3:56Speaker 8: Still seeing.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I'm thinking that's a good Christmas gift for Ricky, Zach,
- 4:01Speaker 3: a broom and a witch hat. But would you be offended, Ricky,
- 4:04Speaker 3: or do we have your stamp of approval right now?
- 4:06Speaker 4: You better bedazzle the heck out of that broomstick.
- 4:09Speaker 5: And you better make the hat look really cool.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Done. That was easy.
- 4:14Speaker 7: Done.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I love it.
- 4:16Speaker 5: This has gone off the rails, per usual. I'm so sorry.
- 4:20Speaker 2: No, it's not you.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Oh, Megan, it's not you.
- 4:23Speaker 4: It's us.
- 4:24Speaker 5: It's always us.
- 4:25Speaker 4: We are so excited to tell you that you are
- 4:27Speaker 4: the first caller of the day this morning on 107.5
- 4:29Speaker 4: The River.
- 4:30Speaker 5: You're going to see Matchbox 20 and the All-American Rejects.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 4:34Speaker 5: It's going to be an awesome show. We love hearing
- 4:37Speaker 5: the excitement.
- 4:38Speaker 7: Thank you so much. I'm so excited.
- 4:40Speaker 5: You are so welcome. Have so much fun this weekend
- 4:42Speaker 5: celebrating Halloween. Hang on the line for just a sec, okay?
- 4:45Speaker 7: Okay, thank you.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Kevin, did you ever tell us what you're going to
- 4:48Speaker 2: be for Halloween?
- 4:49Speaker 3: I just have like a generic skeleton onesie that I
- 4:52Speaker 3: pretty much just wear every year.
- 4:53Speaker 2: So I'm just doing that. Oh, so you're pulling a Zach.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Lazy.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Honestly, yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Both of you disappoint me.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Another chance to win these tickets tomorrow.
- 5:01Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 5:05Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Kevin, I need you to help me with something.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I'm ready.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Specifically you.
- 5:10Speaker 2: You don't seem ready.
- 5:11Speaker 5: You seem very hesitant. I'm very ready. To hear what
- 5:14Speaker 5: I need help with.
- 5:15Speaker 4: But because you're a father, I think that you're the
- 5:18Speaker 4: right person for me to go to.
- 5:20Speaker 5: Zach's going to have an opinion on this. I just
- 5:22Speaker 5: don't know that it's going to be something that's going
- 5:23Speaker 5: to work.
- 5:24Speaker 8: I'm more scared that you're asking Kevin for advice, but hey,
- 5:27Speaker 8: go for it.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I think it's great. You finally realized how wise I am.
- 5:30Speaker 3: You're coming to the right guy.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Nope.
- 5:32Speaker 5: It's quite literally just because you have kids.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Let's find out.
- 5:34Speaker 5: This situation needs a parent figure.
- 5:37Speaker 3: How I'm going to help save Ricky's life right after
- 5:40Speaker 3: Lorde on the river.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I think maybe because I'm wearing this cardigan today and I,
- 5:46Speaker 3: you know, have like grandpa vibes, maybe Mr. Rogers vibes
- 5:49Speaker 3: or something. Ricky just, you know, I must look wise
- 5:52Speaker 3: because she has come to me for advice.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It's 107.5 the river. Ricky, what can I do for you?
- 5:57Speaker 5: I quite literally never said anything about you looking.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Wise or any of the things that you just previously mentioned.
- 6:03Speaker 4: I need your help because you're a parent. And I
- 6:06Speaker 4: know that this question and this desire, want and need
- 6:11Speaker 4: has definitely come up in your family before.
- 6:13Speaker 8: I'd like to go on record and say, Ricky, I
- 6:15Speaker 8: just feel like you're going to go ahead and regret
- 6:17Speaker 8: this question, but proceed.
- 6:19Speaker 4: So over the weekend, I went back home to Jersey.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Very quick trip.
- 6:22Speaker 4: It was like 28 hours that we were there. And
- 6:25Speaker 4: both AJ and I were there, and we stayed with
- 6:27Speaker 4: my dad, which we normally do. My dad just recently
- 6:31Speaker 4: got a puppy. An adorable golden retriever puppy. who is
- 6:37Speaker 4: so dopey and so sweet and so cuddly and kind
- 6:41Speaker 4: that when you look at him, your immediate thing that
- 6:43Speaker 4: you have to say out loud is, aww.
- 6:46Speaker 2: You sent this picture?
- 6:47Speaker 5: Because he's so cute.
- 6:48Speaker 2: And he is legit so cute.
- 6:51Speaker 5: So cute.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Very well-mannered, like just adorable puppy vibes and energy, but
- 6:56Speaker 4: like still kind of calm, right?
- 6:58Speaker 5: So after spending time.
- 7:00Speaker 4: At my dad's with the puppy, AJ now wants a puppy.
- 7:07Speaker 5: AJ wants a puppy and.
- 7:08Speaker 4: AJ knows that we can't have a puppy right now.
- 7:11Speaker 4: So I very much feel like the parent talking to
- 7:15Speaker 4: their kids about the fact that they can't have a
- 7:18Speaker 4: puppy yet. Which is why I'm coming to you, Kevin,
- 7:20Speaker 4: of how do I let him down nicely without being aggressive?
- 7:26Speaker 4: Because my immediate thought is being aggressive.
- 7:29Speaker 5: And being like, we can't have a puppy.
- 7:30Speaker 4: What are you thinking? We have no time for a puppy.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Why can't you have a puppy? We have no time.
- 7:35Speaker 5: We have no time for a puppy right now.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I think you should get a puppy.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Wow, okay, so that was actually useless. I know also, like.
- 7:44Speaker 4: A parent, that I'm going to be the one training
- 7:46Speaker 4: the puppy.
- 7:47Speaker 6: Yep.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Because I am the one that's home for longer periods
- 7:50Speaker 4: of time than he is. So I'm going to have
- 7:52Speaker 4: to take over, like... exactly like a parent and a
- 7:56Speaker 4: child like the child's like.
- 7:57Speaker 5: We don't want a puppy and then they're like i'm.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Gonna promise you i'll take care of it i'll walk
- 8:01Speaker 4: it i'll feed it i'll clean after it i'll do
- 8:03Speaker 4: all the things and then you know deep down inside
- 8:05Speaker 4: that they're not going to.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Lift a finger the puppy stage only lasts for a
- 8:09Speaker 3: little bit of time and then you have a trained
- 8:11Speaker 3: dog at home which is gonna be great.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Zach Oh, now you want my advice.
- 8:16Speaker 5: I do because.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Kevin's is terrible.
- 8:19Speaker 5: I was really thinking he's gone through this before. He
- 8:21Speaker 5: knows how to handle this, but he's useless. Help me
- 8:24Speaker 5: out here, Zach.
- 8:24Speaker 8: Okay, I feel like I actually have good advice here.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I think that you should write a list of the
- 8:29Speaker 2: pros and cons.
- 8:30Speaker 8: And you write the list and you make sure that
- 8:32Speaker 8: you put down every single thing that entails having a puppy.
- 8:36Speaker 2: So that you.
- 8:37Speaker 8: Can put it in perspective. Instead of just saying, oh,
- 8:39Speaker 8: we don't have time. Show him exactly why you don't
- 8:42Speaker 8: have time.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:44Speaker 8: I'm like, okay, so do you want to go to concerts?
- 8:46Speaker 8: Do you want to go to dinner? Do you want
- 8:47Speaker 8: to see your friends? Do you want to do this?
- 8:48Speaker 2: Well, the puppy has to go out every two hours, so.
- 8:50Speaker 8: Then we're going to have to come home, and then
- 8:52Speaker 8: we're going to have to feed it, and then we're
- 8:53Speaker 8: going to have to walk it after we feed it,
- 8:55Speaker 8: and just spell it out for him of how much
- 8:58Speaker 8: work it actually is. I.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Never thought I would say this, but I think you're
- 9:03Speaker 4: on to something there, Zach.
- 9:04Speaker 6: I know.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Hold on. I have a new idea. I have a
- 9:05Speaker 2: new idea.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I say that.
- 9:07Speaker 5: I don't even want to hear it.
- 9:08Speaker 4: You've lost all privilege to have any opinion on this.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I say that having two golden retrievers myself.
- 9:14Speaker 5: You know the deal.
- 9:15Speaker 6: Yes.
- 9:16Speaker 5: This is the thing.
- 9:16Speaker 4: AJ's never had a puppy.
- 9:18Speaker 5: I've had many puppies. I know the work it takes.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot. Again,
- 9:23Speaker 2: that puppy stage is temporary.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Yes.
- 9:26Speaker 2: A year and a half minimum.
- 9:27Speaker 6: Oh, God, no.
- 9:28Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Yes.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Have you had golden retrievers before?
- 9:31Speaker 8: I have a seven-year-old dog that still acts like a puppy.
- 9:35Speaker 5: I am going to take Zach's advice.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I like where Zach is going with this.
- 9:39Speaker 5: It seems very, like it's going to work. It seems
- 9:42Speaker 5: like a good idea.
- 9:43Speaker 8: It's not like being sassy and be like, no, we
- 9:45Speaker 8: can't have one. It's like, okay, if you really want one,
- 9:48Speaker 8: this is what it's going to take. Just so you know.
- 9:50Speaker 6: Okay.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Here's what I think.
- 9:52Speaker 5: What, Kevin?
- 9:53Speaker 2: Two puppies.
- 9:55Speaker 5: Okay, you are beyond useless at this point.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I want nothing to do.
- 9:59Speaker 6: With each other.
- 10:00Speaker 3: A baby oh the baby could grow up together that's brilliant.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Three things you need to know all.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Right let's go it's just after seven o'clock on this
- 10:09Speaker 3: wednesday morning glad you're here with us ricky's got those
- 10:12Speaker 3: three things.
- 10:13Speaker 4: A convicted killer has escaped the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville, Tennessee.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Jacob Allen Morley is his name. He escaped through a
- 10:22Speaker 4: fence Sunday night and has been seen in a white
- 10:24Speaker 4: 2008 Ford F-350 truck with Tennessee plates and a Linda
- 10:29Speaker 4: Mood planting company logo on the door most recently. The
- 10:34Speaker 4: Tennessee Bureau of Investigation warned that he is considered very
- 10:37Speaker 4: dangerous and is still believed to be in Tennessee as
- 10:41Speaker 4: of now. They're offering a $ 2, 500 reward for information leading
- 10:45Speaker 4: to his capture. They ask that you do not approach him. Instead,
- 10:48Speaker 4: call the authorities if you happen to see him. His
- 10:52Speaker 4: picture is all over the place. Jacob Allen Morley is
- 10:55Speaker 4: the name. You can Google it to see what he
- 10:56Speaker 4: looks like. Obviously, just a really scary situation. So just
- 11:00Speaker 4: everybody be safe and careful and hopefully they find him soon.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Connor Story from Heated Rivalry may be joining the MCU.
- 11:08Speaker 4: He's one of the options to play the villain in
- 11:11Speaker 4: Ryan Gosling's Ghost Rider Marvel movie. We don't have any
- 11:14Speaker 4: details about the process or who else is up for
- 11:16Speaker 4: the role just yet. But we do know that Ghost
- 11:19Speaker 4: Rider is slated to release in 2028. So they're going
- 11:22Speaker 4: to choose someone very soon. Lots of people that I
- 11:26Speaker 4: saw under this announcement of the fact that he was
- 11:28Speaker 4: up for this role. We're very excited to see him
- 11:31Speaker 4: in something like that. They feel like he is the
- 11:32Speaker 4: perfect person to play a villain. I have to agree.
- 11:35Speaker 4: I think he would be fantastic.
- 11:37Speaker 5: So we'll see where this goes, and I will let
- 11:38Speaker 5: you know.
- 11:40Speaker 4: And people in Boston, they protested the Liberty Mutual mascot.
- 11:45Speaker 4: They want Liberty Mutual to retire its Liberty Bibberty mascot.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like that guy.
- 11:50Speaker 4: It's that fuzzy, yellow, weird-looking thing. They said that they
- 11:55Speaker 4: believe it's a fake corporate mascot devoid of real ingenuity.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Is actually what they said, word for word.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Dozens of people gathered outside the company's Boston headquarters on
- 12:05Speaker 4: Sunday afternoon to protest. What was originally just a joke,
- 12:08Speaker 4: it was just a gag. There was a person on
- 12:11Speaker 4: YouTube who had the idea to do this protest. It
- 12:13Speaker 4: ended up going viral, so he ended up going through
- 12:16Speaker 4: with it. Obviously, everybody's got feelings about mascots. When it
- 12:20Speaker 4: comes to corporate mascots, you may love them or hate them,
- 12:24Speaker 4: especially because of the commercials that come out around them.
- 12:27Speaker 4: We're going to get into that, though, okay? So make
- 12:29Speaker 4: sure you stick around the next 15 minutes or so.
- 12:31Speaker 4: We're going to talk about specific corporate mascots.
- 12:34Speaker 5: That we would protest.
- 12:35Speaker 6: Yes, yes.
- 12:36Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 12:38Speaker 5: need to know.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Ricky. We're going to play Teddy
- 12:40Speaker 3: Swims here. One of our jingle ball artists. You can
- 12:43Speaker 3: get your tickets at 107.5theriver.com. Before they're gone, you don't
- 12:47Speaker 3: want to miss out. Here he is, Teddy Swims.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Right after this, we're learning. Zach's Facts, next on The River.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Class is in session.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Zach's Facts, brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 12:58Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 13:00Speaker 8: So since there's a current debate in Ricky's household about
- 13:02Speaker 8: getting a puppy, I wanted to give you a fact
- 13:05Speaker 8: about puppies.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Oh!
- 13:06Speaker 2: Did you guys know that puppies are born blind, deaf,
- 13:09Speaker 2: and toothless?
- 13:11Speaker 8: So apparently their eyelids and their ear canals remain sealed
- 13:14Speaker 8: at birth and their eyes open around 10 to 14
- 13:16Speaker 8: days and hearing develops around three weeks.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Huh?
- 13:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 8: That's why they sleep 18 to 20 hours a day
- 13:23Speaker 8: to fuel their rapid physical growth.
- 13:26Speaker 5: That's wild.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I had no idea. And I've had many puppies in
- 13:29Speaker 2: my lifetime.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Not that little, obviously.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:31Speaker 2: But it's crazy.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Ricky, they sleep 20 hours a day.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Get a puppy. That's no work at all.
- 13:37Speaker 5: You're not allowed to have the puppy yet at that point.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Kevin.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Oh, my. God.
- 13:41Speaker 2: There's your fact of the day.
- 13:42Speaker 5: This guy's the worst.
- 13:44Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 13:46Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Let's fake protest some corporate mascots, shall we? It's Ricky, Zach,
- 13:52Speaker 4: and Mano in the morning on 107.5 The River. A
- 13:55Speaker 4: bunch of people in Boston just recently protested the Liberty
- 13:58Speaker 4: Mutual mascot, Liberty Viberty.
- 14:00Speaker 5: It's good, Kevin. It's such a weird thing.
- 14:04Speaker 4: There are so many mascots that make you wonder why
- 14:08Speaker 4: the company went with them. Like I know Ronald McDonald
- 14:12Speaker 4: always made me feel weird.
- 14:14Speaker 2: It freaks me out. That was going to be on
- 14:16Speaker 2: my list too.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Ronald McDonald always made me feel weird. I never liked
- 14:21Speaker 4: that weird clown.
- 14:22Speaker 2: He's a beacon of happiness.
- 14:23Speaker 1: No, he's not.
- 14:24Speaker 4: He really creeped me out from the very beginning.
- 14:27Speaker 5: And I just didn't understand why they went with a clown.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Like, I love McDonald's. Don't get me wrong. But Ronald
- 14:32Speaker 2: McDonald really scared me.
- 14:34Speaker 5: I would protest him.
- 14:36Speaker 3: You guys are scared of Ronald McDonald. How do you
- 14:38Speaker 3: feel about the king from Burger King with the face
- 14:41Speaker 3: that doesn't move?
- 14:42Speaker 5: Oh, that didn't bother me.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Oh, I don't like that guy. See, he gives me
- 14:45Speaker 2: the ick.
- 14:46Speaker 8: It was like so unexpressive and silent. And like, I
- 14:50Speaker 8: didn't like the Burger King one either.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Zach, did you like any of them?
- 14:53Speaker 4: What was the one that really bothered you over.
- 14:56Speaker 2: All of these?
- 14:57Speaker 8: Honestly, the number one one that still gets me is
- 15:00Speaker 8: the Mr.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Mucus from Mucinex.
- 15:03Speaker 6: Oh, he's cute.
- 15:04Speaker 5: I don't mind him.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It's literally a talking blob of human mucus. He's a bugger.
- 15:09Speaker 2: He's sweet. It's gross. I don't like it.
- 15:12Speaker 4: There is something quite disgusting about that, but also, he
- 15:15Speaker 4: didn't really bother me.
- 15:17Speaker 2: He gives me, like, goosebumps. I have sympathy for him.
- 15:20Speaker 3: When the mucinex starts to work and he gets washed
- 15:22Speaker 3: away and he can't have his little party, I feel
- 15:24Speaker 3: bad for him.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Kevin.
- 15:27Speaker 5: I feel bad for him.
- 15:29Speaker 4: You want to know the one that I really liked
- 15:31Speaker 4: that you guys are going to think I'm such a
- 15:32Speaker 4: weirdo for? Do you remember the creepy Quiznos thing? That
- 15:37Speaker 4: was like, we loves the subs, and it was like
- 15:39Speaker 4: a rat, but it had like crazy teeth and stuff.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Did it have a human mouth? Was it like superimposed
- 15:46Speaker 2: a mouth onto it or something?
- 15:47Speaker 5: Am I thinking of the right thing? You are thinking
- 15:49Speaker 5: of the right thing.
- 15:50Speaker 4: I know that thing is so weird, and I'm sure
- 15:52Speaker 4: there are plenty of people that hated it.
- 15:54Speaker 5: I loved it.
- 15:54Speaker 2: That was your... I just looked it up to remind myself,
- 15:58Speaker 2: and it's terrifying.
- 15:59Speaker 5: It is, but it's so funny to me. I don't
- 16:02Speaker 5: know what it is about it. It just always was
- 16:04Speaker 5: funny to me.
- 16:04Speaker 3: We want to hear what corporate mascots, what spokesmen, I
- 16:08Speaker 3: guess we'll say, for one of these brands really bothers you,
- 16:11Speaker 3: which one you would protest. But I will say right now,
- 16:14Speaker 3: if anybody says a single word about Top Dog Law,
- 16:17Speaker 3: I will reach through this radio.
- 16:19Speaker 2: And you're not.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Going to like it.
- 16:24Speaker 6: 615-737.
- 16:24Speaker 3: We love Top Dog Law. 615-737-9107.
- 16:26Speaker 2: What mascot do you want to protest?
- 16:28Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 16:31Speaker 3: We've got James in Nashville on the phone right now.
- 16:33Speaker 3: We've been having a conversation about mascots, corporate mascots that
- 16:36Speaker 3: we see in commercials all the time.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Which ones we would like to protest. James, what do
- 16:40Speaker 2: you think, man? Who's your least favorite?
- 16:42Speaker 6: The Morgan and Morgan guy.
- 16:45Speaker 2: John Morgan and Morgan and Morgan. He's just a man.
- 16:48Speaker 1: He's so annoying.
- 16:51Speaker 5: James. Oh, poor Morgan and Morgan.
- 16:54Speaker 4: We always say in the studio, Morgan and Morgan and
- 16:58Speaker 4: Morgan and Morgan and Morgan. Because there's so many Morgans.
- 17:01Speaker 8: If Ricky worked there, it would be awesome because her
- 17:03Speaker 8: middle name is Morgan. Ricky Morgan and Morgan and Morgan
- 17:05Speaker 8: and Morgan and Morgan and Morgan.
- 17:08Speaker 5: James, thank you for calling. You're welcome.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Bye.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Have a good day, buddy.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Amy and Matt Julia, tell us the corporate mascot you
- 17:15Speaker 4: would love to protest.
- 17:17Speaker 8: We do not like that Allstate mayhem guy.
- 17:21Speaker 2: What is that cause?
- 17:23Speaker 7: He causes so much havoc.
- 17:25Speaker 2: I am such a fan of his.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I'm looking up the actor's name right now because he
- 17:29Speaker 3: was in 30 Rock. He was in the show Oz.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I love that dude.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Dean Winters. Dean Winters, that's right.
- 17:36Speaker 8: I kind of like the mayhem that he causes. Like
- 17:39Speaker 8: for me, I appreciate the comedy.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Of the commercials.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Amy, is it that it stresses you out, all the chaos?
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yes.
- 17:45Speaker 2: It is so stressful.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I get that.
- 17:49Speaker 4: The people who are like driving the cars are always like,
- 17:52Speaker 4: what are you doing here? I relate to this because
- 17:56Speaker 4: chaos is constant in my life. So he also gives
- 18:00Speaker 4: me anxiety.
- 18:02Speaker 2: It represents real life. Anything could happen at any time.
- 18:05Speaker 2: You know, you have to be prepared.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Yeah, but you're already experiencing real life every day. You
- 18:08Speaker 4: don't need to be watching the TV and then experiencing
- 18:11Speaker 4: the anxiety. My shoulders are getting tense thinking about right now.
- 18:14Speaker 7: No, I'm already stressed out from the football game I'm watching,
- 18:18Speaker 7: you know, and I interrupted with this guy.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Are you a Titans fan, Amy? Sadly, no. Oh, no,
- 18:24Speaker 5: that's good because the Titans aren't doing great.
- 18:29Speaker 4: I'm a Jets fan, so I'm constantly stressed watching the
- 18:31Speaker 4: football game as well.
- 18:32Speaker 8: Oh, yeah, exactly.
- 18:33Speaker 7: New Orleans Saints here.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Amy, thank you so much for calling in.
- 18:38Speaker 5: Who's the little one with you?
- 18:40Speaker 2: That's my daughter, Elise.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Elise.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Hi, Elise.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Thank you guys for hanging out with us this morning
- 18:45Speaker 4: and for calling in.
- 18:46Speaker 5: We hope you have a great day.
- 18:48Speaker 7: You too.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 18:49Speaker 6: Bye. Bye, guys.
- 18:50Speaker 3: We've got steeplechase tickets next with.
- 18:52Speaker 2: The game of the day.
- 18:53Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning. On 107.5 The River.
- 18:56Speaker 1: We are about to play.
- 19:00Speaker 5: Horror for Horsies.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Yay!
- 19:02Speaker 2: You said it!
- 19:03Speaker 4: It's Kevin Mano's Game of the Day on 107.5 The River.
- 19:06Speaker 5: The name is ridiculous. I didn't want to say it,
- 19:08Speaker 5: but here we are.
- 19:09Speaker 4: We got tickets to Steeplechase happening at Percy Warner Park
- 19:13Speaker 4: May 8th of next year.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Jerrica in Clarksville is on the line right now.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Good morning, Jerrica.
- 19:18Speaker 7: Good morning!
- 19:19Speaker 2: Hi, good morning.
- 19:21Speaker 3: On a scale of 1 to 10, how much of
- 19:23Speaker 3: a scary movie fan are you?
- 19:26Speaker 4: I love scary movies.
- 19:28Speaker 5: We're going to see just how much.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Ten.
- 19:30Speaker 6: Ten.
- 19:31Speaker 5: Okay, that's what I'm looking for.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Ten.
- 19:32Speaker 2: She's a ten.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Then this should be very easy for you. It is
- 19:35Speaker 3: trivia about horror movies. You get two out of three
- 19:37Speaker 3: of them right. These tickets are yours, okay?
- 19:39Speaker 6: Okay.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Jerrica, your game, Horror for Horsies, starts right now.
- 19:46Speaker 3: What classic horror movie takes place in the fictional town.
- 19:50Speaker 2: of Haddonfield, Illinois?
- 19:52Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Haddonfield, Illinois.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I thought I loved horror movies.
- 20:02Speaker 2: No, it's okay. It's okay.
- 20:05Speaker 6: Halloween. Oh.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Halloween is correct.
- 20:09Speaker 5: All right.
- 20:09Speaker 6: Well done.
- 20:10Speaker 2: You got a point on the board. You need one
- 20:12Speaker 2: more to win, okay?
- 20:13Speaker 7: Okay.
- 20:16Speaker 3: News broke last week that Disney is currently developing a
- 20:19Speaker 3: fifth movie in what.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Family Halloween series?
- 20:23Speaker 7: Is it Halloween Town?
- 20:25Speaker 2: It is Halloween Town.
- 20:26Speaker 6: Yes, ma'am.
- 20:29Speaker 7: Yay!
- 20:29Speaker 2: That was easy.
- 20:30Speaker 5: Congratulations. Yeah, you aced that quiz.
- 20:34Speaker 7: Halloween Town is my favorite Disney Halloween movie.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Because it's so good.
- 20:39Speaker 2: So good. Jerrica, congrats.
- 20:42Speaker 5: You are going to steeplechase.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Yay, thank you.
- 20:46Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 20:46Speaker 7: Hang on.
- 20:47Speaker 2: We're going to get all your information. Congratulations. And have
- 20:50Speaker 2: a very happy Halloween. Thank you.
- 20:52Speaker 7: Happy Halloween.
- 20:54Speaker 3: I think, Ricky, when we get to the end of
- 20:55Speaker 3: the week here, if I have like a bunch of
- 20:57Speaker 3: leftover questions, I'm going to ask you all of them.
- 20:59Speaker 2: And I think you're going to do pretty well.
- 21:00Speaker 5: OK, yeah, I'm in.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Zach, would you know any of them? I mean, you
- 21:04Speaker 2: can ask me them all day long.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 21:10Speaker 6: All right.
- 21:11Speaker 2: OK, let's go.
- 21:12Speaker 3: It's just after eight o'clock. Thank you so much for
- 21:14Speaker 3: being here. Ricky's got those three things presented by Mark
- 21:16Speaker 3: Spain Real Estate.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Rolling Stone put out a list of the best rock
- 21:19Speaker 4: songs of the 21st century so far. Some of the
- 21:22Speaker 4: people on the list were Bob Dylan, Springsteen, Bowie, you know,
- 21:26Speaker 4: the classics. They also named people like Olivia Rodrigo. She
- 21:29Speaker 4: actually landed at number four with Good For You. Phoebe Bridgers,
- 21:33Speaker 4: Noah Khan, and Paramore were all on the list. Obviously,
- 21:36Speaker 4: we're talking about a lot of people. This is not
- 21:38Speaker 4: just like a top ten list. There were 200 songs
- 21:41Speaker 4: on this. The top three spots went to The Killers.
- 21:46Speaker 6: Mr.
- 21:46Speaker 5: Brightside was number three.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Two was The White Stripes with Seven Nation Army. And
- 21:52Speaker 4: number one went to MAPS by.
- 21:54Speaker 2: The Yeah Yeah Yes. Love the song. Love the yeah, yeah, yeahs.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I don't know that I would put it at number one.
- 22:07Speaker 5: They made it number one. They have their reasons.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Everybody has their reasons for maybe not choosing that as
- 22:14Speaker 4: number one, and.
- 22:15Speaker 5: That's just how this goes. That's the fun of.
- 22:17Speaker 2: It, you know?
- 22:17Speaker 5: That's the debate of it all.
- 22:20Speaker 4: So congrats to everybody who made the list, though. Music
- 22:23Speaker 4: City Brew Hop is ending its hop-on, hop-off brewery tours
- 22:26Speaker 4: after more than five years.
- 22:28Speaker 5: This is a bummer.
- 22:30Speaker 4: The final tour is going to happen on Sunday, November 15th.
- 22:33Speaker 4: If that's something that you want to experience, you have
- 22:35Speaker 4: until then.
- 22:35Speaker 5: To do it.
- 22:36Speaker 4: You're going to still see their trolleys around town for
- 22:39Speaker 4: their holiday lights tours, private rentals. They do weddings and
- 22:43Speaker 4: other specialty tours, though. So you can still experience it.
- 22:46Speaker 4: You can still support them. They'll just no longer be
- 22:48Speaker 4: doing these brewery tours.
- 22:51Speaker 5: And Cheerios.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Cheerios and Ziploc are doing something that we have been
- 22:55Speaker 4: waiting for. I cannot believe it's taken until 2026 for
- 22:59Speaker 4: this to be a thing, but it's finally here. They
- 23:01Speaker 4: have resealable packaging. Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios will be
- 23:06Speaker 4: available with new packaging called Ziploc Pantry Seal Bags.
- 23:11Speaker 5: They're already available.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Exclusively at Walmart.com, but they're set to be in retailers
- 23:16Speaker 4: nationwide in.
- 23:17Speaker 5: The coming months.
- 23:18Speaker 4: This is something that just makes sense. I don't understand
- 23:22Speaker 4: why it took so long.
- 23:23Speaker 5: No more crumpling it up and hoping that it doesn't,
- 23:25Speaker 5: you know, get old.
- 23:26Speaker 4: No more using those chip things, the chip clips to
- 23:30Speaker 4: make sure that it stays fresh or buying extra containers
- 23:33Speaker 4: to fill up to make sure it stays good. This
- 23:36Speaker 4: is just, I don't understand why it's taken so long,
- 23:39Speaker 4: but here we are nonetheless.
- 23:41Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 23:43Speaker 5: need to know.
- 23:44Speaker 2: That's good news.
- 23:45Speaker 3: I rarely see them doing it, but I do believe
- 23:48Speaker 3: my children open cereal boxes with an axe and the
- 23:52Speaker 3: bag and the cardboard.
- 23:54Speaker 2: It's the only explanation. It's the only explanation.
- 23:59Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Zach, I think I want you to go first here.
- 24:03Speaker 3: What cartoon characters do it for you? This conversation is
- 24:07Speaker 3: inspired by Alexander Skarsgård.
- 24:09Speaker 2: He said that the animated Grinch Is sexy.
- 24:12Speaker 7: Okay.
- 24:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:15Speaker 8: I feel like mine is like very commonly known that
- 24:18Speaker 8: this is the most attractive cartoon on the entire planet.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Li Shang from Mulan. Ah, yes. The muscles, the daddy vibes. Yes, please.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Oh, the daddy vibes.
- 24:30Speaker 6: Okay.
- 24:31Speaker 5: I get that.
- 24:32Speaker 2: That one, 100%.
- 24:34Speaker 8: Also, I do have to give honorable mention to Link
- 24:37Speaker 8: from The Legend of Zelda.
- 24:39Speaker 2: The little video game? Yeah.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Oh.
- 24:43Speaker 5: I don't know that I know what Link looks like.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Link, he was super cute. He had, like, fake piercings. Oh,
- 24:48Speaker 2: I just Googled him.
- 24:50Speaker 5: I just Googled him. Okay, I can see it.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 24:53Speaker 6: Yeah, cute. All right.
- 24:55Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, Mulan was a movie that we grew
- 24:58Speaker 4: up with, so... I totally understand why you went with
- 25:01Speaker 4: that route.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Good choice for Zach Woodward. Thank you very much.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Kevin?
- 25:04Speaker 2: No, you want me? I want the weird to stay
- 25:07Speaker 2: for last. Oh, you think.
- 25:08Speaker 5: His are going to be the weirdest?
- 25:10Speaker 2: Yes.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Okay. I used to love Anastasia growing up, the movie Anastasia.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 4: And Dimitri in Anastasia, 100% facts.
- 25:21Speaker 5: On the, you know.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Possibly weirder side?
- 25:24Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Because Dimitri's a person. An animated person. Dimitri's cute.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Just looked him up.
- 25:30Speaker 5: Handsome guy.
- 25:31Speaker 4: The flowy hair. Handsome dude.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Casper.
- 25:35Speaker 5: I used to love Casper.
- 25:38Speaker 2: What?
- 25:39Speaker 5: Casper the friendly ghost.
- 25:41Speaker 3: The movie, eventually it's like Devin Sawa is who Casper was.
- 25:45Speaker 3: But for the entirety of the movie until that moment,
- 25:48Speaker 3: he's just like a little bald white ghost.
- 25:50Speaker 5: I love him. I always loved him.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I'm really concerned about you.
- 25:54Speaker 5: I always loved him.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Also, Shego from Kim Possible.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Who's that?
- 26:00Speaker 5: Shego is it, guys.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Oh, she's a vibe, honey. Shego's it.
- 26:05Speaker 8: She gives me like old school Billie Eilish vibes. Like
- 26:09Speaker 8: the dark hair, the bright green. I think it's the green.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Yeah, like it's cool.
- 26:14Speaker 4: All right, see, you thought I wasn't going to be
- 26:15Speaker 4: as weird, but I think Casper really threw you for
- 26:17Speaker 4: a loop.
- 26:18Speaker 8: Casper, I was not expecting that.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Kevin, cartoon characters that just do it for you.
- 26:22Speaker 2: I have so many. I mean, the green M &
- 26:23Speaker 2: M came to mind first.
- 26:25Speaker 5: The green M & M is food.
- 26:27Speaker 3: When I was a kid, April O'Neil in the animated
- 26:30Speaker 3: Ninja Turtle show, that was one of my, like, awakenings,
- 26:33Speaker 3: we'll call it.
- 26:34Speaker 2: When I was.
- 26:35Speaker 5: April O'Neil.
- 26:36Speaker 3: If you guys wanted to talk about Disney, I would
- 26:38Speaker 3: say Jasmine is at the top of my list.
- 26:40Speaker 5: Okay.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Lois Griffin from Family Guy. There's something there.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Lois Griffin?
- 26:46Speaker 6: Oh, yeah. Kevin.
- 26:47Speaker 4: The voice is like.
- 26:50Speaker 5: is a lot.
- 26:52Speaker 2: It's fine. 615-737-9107.
- 26:54Speaker 3: If you want to join this conversation, I can keep going,
- 26:56Speaker 3: but we want to hear from you.
- 26:57Speaker 5: We bet you can.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Which cartoon characters do it for you?
- 27:02Speaker 6: 107.5, The River.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Jessica and Columbia, welcome to 107.5, The River. We're talking
- 27:06Speaker 4: about the cartoon characters that just, they just do it
- 27:09Speaker 4: for you. We understand they're cartoons, but they do a
- 27:12Speaker 4: really good job.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Oh, God. Who's that cartoon for you?
- 27:16Speaker 7: Okay, it's going to sound really crazy, but the Beast
- 27:19Speaker 7: from Beauty and the Beast. Not his human form, though.
- 27:21Speaker 2: When he's the Beast.
- 27:22Speaker 1: When he's the Beast?
- 27:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:25Speaker 8: What is it about the Beast that just really gets
- 27:28Speaker 8: your gears going, Jessica?
- 27:29Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 27:30Speaker 7: It's just the grr. There's just something about him. You
- 27:32Speaker 7: can tell he's still, like, sensitive, but then he has
- 27:34Speaker 7: that grr, and it's just something about him.
- 27:36Speaker 6: It's the grr. It's the grr.
- 27:38Speaker 5: That is my favorite thing I've ever heard in my life.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Is that, like, a Gen Z phrase that I'm not
- 27:43Speaker 3: familiar with, or are you making that up, Jessica?
- 27:45Speaker 7: No, I've kind of said it forever, so maybe a
- 27:47Speaker 7: Gen Z.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I don't know. I love that.
- 27:50Speaker 4: I get it when you say it's the girl.
- 27:53Speaker 2: It makes sense.
- 27:54Speaker 7: Right, right. I don't know any other expression but the girl.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Phenomenal.
- 27:59Speaker 5: Thank you so much, Jessica.
- 28:01Speaker 7: You're welcome. Have a great day, guys.
- 28:02Speaker 6: You too.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Thank you for being weird with us.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Stephanie in Murfreesboro is on the phone right now.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Stephanie, which cartoon character is the top of your list?
- 28:11Speaker 7: I agree with Ricky on Shego.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yes.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Shego's a really good one. I can't think of their names,
- 28:19Speaker 4: but the witches from.
- 28:20Speaker 7: That one Scooby-Doo movie.
- 28:24Speaker 5: I love that they don't have names.
- 28:25Speaker 1: And I know you know what I'm talking about.
- 28:27Speaker 2: The Hex Girls?
- 28:29Speaker 1: Yes.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I know who you're talking about. I looked them up.
- 28:33Speaker 2: They have very similar vibes to Shego.
- 28:36Speaker 5: Shego, yeah. You got a thing going on, yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:41Speaker 5: I love it, Stephanie.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Thank you for participating.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Yes, thank you.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Bye, y'all.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Jess in Nashville, what cartoon character just does it for you?
- 28:51Speaker 7: Jessica Rabbit.
- 28:53Speaker 5: That is a classic.
- 28:55Speaker 2: It took this long for anyone to say Jessica Rabbit.
- 28:57Speaker 2: She is the iconic.
- 28:59Speaker 7: So beautiful. The hair, everything about her. I grew up
- 29:03Speaker 7: watching her with my mama. And Jessica Rabbit is just
- 29:06Speaker 7: chef's kiss, guys.
- 29:08Speaker 5: I'm with you.
- 29:09Speaker 4: I think we all can agree that Jessica Rabbit is
- 29:11Speaker 4: just a gorgeous cartoon.
- 29:14Speaker 6: Bombshell.
- 29:16Speaker 7: Exactly. I'm so glad I got through to you guys.
- 29:19Speaker 7: My daughter and I listen to you every morning. Ricky,
- 29:22Speaker 7: my eight-year-old thinks your laugh is just contagious and absolutely beautiful.
- 29:27Speaker 7: And this is my first time ever getting through to
- 29:29Speaker 7: you guys. So good morning. And I love y'all. And
- 29:31Speaker 7: your radio station is my favorite.
- 29:33Speaker 5: Yes, we love you.
- 29:35Speaker 4: That is the kindest, sweetest, most amazing thing to hear.
- 29:38Speaker 5: I got really emotional. It's my time of the month.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Right now, so, like, I'm teary-eyed hearing this.
- 29:42Speaker 7: I feel you.
- 29:42Speaker 6: I feel you.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Question, though, about her laugh. Have you guys heard her snort?
- 29:47Speaker 7: I don't think we have, to be honest with you,
- 29:49Speaker 7: but I think that's even cuter.
- 29:51Speaker 2: It's adorable, actually.
- 29:52Speaker 4: It happens every so often when they really get me.
- 29:57Speaker 4: But it's when the guys have to be funny, though.
- 29:59Speaker 5: You know what I mean? Exactly.
- 30:01Speaker 7: And that's when you know it's a good laugh. When
- 30:04Speaker 7: you snort, it's a good laugh.
- 30:05Speaker 6: You know?
- 30:07Speaker 3: I should dig through old audio and make a compilation
- 30:09Speaker 3: of Ricky's snorts.
- 30:11Speaker 6: Yes, please.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yes, please. I might do that.
- 30:13Speaker 7: Oh, my daughter would absolutely lose her mind at that. Oh,
- 30:16Speaker 7: that would be beautiful.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Thank you so much for calling today and for being
- 30:20Speaker 4: so sweet.
- 30:20Speaker 5: We appreciate you so much.
- 30:22Speaker 7: You're welcome, guys. Have the best day ever.
- 30:24Speaker 6: You too.
- 30:26Speaker 3: What started as a relatively weird conversation ended very nicely there.
- 30:30Speaker 5: That was so cute.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Jessica Ribbit.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Kevin is flustered.
- 30:36Speaker 4: Jessica Ribbit.
- 30:38Speaker 2: You got Ribbit for.
- 30:41Speaker 6: Her.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Never mind.
- 30:42Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning. On 107.5 The River.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Bruno Mars, it's The River.
- 30:47Speaker 6: It's time for the Word of the Day.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano's Word of the Day. We've been
- 30:53Speaker 3: doing this for a couple of weeks here. One of us,
- 30:54Speaker 3: we go around. One of us picks a word, finds
- 30:57Speaker 3: a word out there. And the other two have to
- 30:59Speaker 3: guess the definition.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Are you guys ready?
- 31:00Speaker 6: Ready.
- 31:01Speaker 4: Yeah, it makes me nervous every time you play this
- 31:03Speaker 4: music because it sounds so ominous.
- 31:05Speaker 5: At the beginning.
- 31:07Speaker 4: And you're the one who picked the word today. So
- 31:08Speaker 4: I feel like it's going to be a scary word.
- 31:11Speaker 2: No, it's mild. It's good.
- 31:12Speaker 3: It's a good thing to know. Your word today is clinomania.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Clinomania. Okay.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Panic over the climate.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Oh, that's a great guess. No, it's wrong. And just
- 31:28Speaker 3: to be clear, I'm saying clino, C-L-I-N-O. Clino mania.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Clino.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Mania makes me think like excitement for something like WrestleMania.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Like you're manic.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Or, well, I was kind of thinking like WrestleMania and
- 31:42Speaker 4: like that's.
- 31:44Speaker 6: Okay.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Use it in a sentence, please. I'm sorry I'm late.
- 31:48Speaker 2: My clinomania got the best of me. I feel like
- 31:52Speaker 2: when you're acting erratic.
- 31:54Speaker 3: It's honestly, it's quite the opposite of everything you guys
- 31:57Speaker 3: have said so far.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Oh, lovely. What does it mean, Kevin?
- 32:01Speaker 2: It's a noun. Here's the definition.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Clinomania is an overwhelming, persistent desire or obsession to stay
- 32:08Speaker 3: in bed.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Sometimes referred to as bed addiction.
- 32:12Speaker 5: Oh, I have clinomania.
- 32:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I think I have fallen ill with clinomania.
- 32:17Speaker 5: I love the bed. It's my favorite place.
- 32:19Speaker 2: My favorite place in the world.
- 32:20Speaker 3: It's not just liking to lay down. It's an abnormal
- 32:23Speaker 3: desire to stay in bed.
- 32:25Speaker 1: No.
- 32:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I understand.
- 32:27Speaker 2: I have it.
- 32:28Speaker 5: I understand what you're saying.
- 32:31Speaker 2: So Kleinomania. Now we all know something.
- 32:34Speaker 6: I like it.
- 32:34Speaker 2: We all probably feel like we deal with from time
- 32:36Speaker 2: to time.
- 32:37Speaker 6: Kleinomania.
- 32:38Speaker 2: You can put a word to it.
- 32:39Speaker 6: Kleinomania.
- 32:39Speaker 5: What is Kleino? Kleino is what really threw me off.
- 32:42Speaker 2: I looked that up.
- 32:43Speaker 5: I was like, what's a Kleino?
- 32:44Speaker 2: Where you climb into the bed? No, it means to
- 32:46Speaker 2: slant or slope.
- 32:48Speaker 5: Kleino does?
- 32:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:49Speaker 2: So I guess.
- 32:51Speaker 6: Oh.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Just like sloping down.
- 32:52Speaker 5: But you're not sloping in a bed.
- 32:54Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 32:54Speaker 2: I didn't make up the word. I just found the word.
- 32:57Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
