- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York The Mark Simone
- 0:05Speaker 1: Show on seven tenor.
- 0:09Speaker 2: May.
- 0:10Speaker 3: We got a lot to get to today, Well, and
- 0:12Speaker 3: it's another cold date. It's a little better today, you know,
- 0:16Speaker 3: I think everybody's complaining some cold. Yesterday so cold. I
- 0:22Speaker 3: think I'm gonna take up smoking because I've noticed that
- 0:25Speaker 3: if if you smoke, they don't even feel the cold.
- 0:29Speaker 3: It could be ten below zero. As you can walk
- 0:31Speaker 3: towards this building, the smokers are all up front smoking.
- 0:34Speaker 3: You know, they all sneak out they have a cigarette.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Could be fifty below zero, ten feet they're still out
- 0:39Speaker 3: there on the sidewalk smoking. So what's today, Wednesday? When
- 0:43Speaker 3: we're almost through this week, we got a lot to
- 0:45Speaker 3: get to. We'll get to the Somali community and the
- 0:51Speaker 3: billions missing in Minnesota. We'll get to affordability, We'll get
- 0:55Speaker 3: to that crazy brad Lander, and we'll get to you know,
- 0:58Speaker 3: congestion Pricing is now celebrating it's one year anniversary. It's
- 1:02Speaker 3: coming up on one year. The yelling and screaming about
- 1:07Speaker 3: it has died down a bit. I guess people just
- 1:09Speaker 3: starting to accept it. It's probably going to be here forever.
- 1:13Speaker 3: It doesn't go away. You know, it's like when they
- 1:16Speaker 3: raise the symptimes, they don't raise your maintenance or your
- 1:19Speaker 3: property text. It's what they call an assessment to fund something.
- 1:23Speaker 3: A little assessment while we need it never goes away.
- 1:27Speaker 3: These things never ever go away. President Trump went to
- 1:31Speaker 3: Pennsylvania last night for the rally. He's been in the
- 1:35Speaker 3: White House now for about eleven months, and a lot
- 1:39Speaker 3: of times they start to do these things for two reasons. One,
- 1:44Speaker 3: you're not getting your message across because the media is
- 1:46Speaker 3: so corrupt, and they've focus grouped prices, and that's how
- 1:52Speaker 3: they came up with the word affordability. It tested the
- 1:55Speaker 3: best in focus groups, so Democrats used it successfully in
- 1:59Speaker 3: the elections in November, and the media just goes crazy
- 2:04Speaker 3: attacking Trump on affordability. It's all a bit of a
- 2:07Speaker 3: hoax because the fact is in the eleven months that
- 2:10Speaker 3: he's been there, prices have come down quite a bit.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Inflation has been cut in half, which is pretty good
- 2:17Speaker 3: in ten months. He always said it would take a year,
- 2:21Speaker 3: year and a half to get it down. Now, remember
- 2:23Speaker 3: the big beautiful bill that he passed with all the
- 2:26Speaker 3: tax cuts, all that stuff has not taken effect yet,
- 2:29Speaker 3: although they got it passed this year. It doesn't kick
- 2:32Speaker 3: in until January, so you'll see a huge change in January.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Everybody will be getting more money in their paychecks in
- 2:38Speaker 3: January because the bill will begin January first. The tax
- 2:42Speaker 3: cuts now again, prices are already down. Inflation hit nine
- 2:49Speaker 3: percent at one time under Biden. The average under Biden
- 2:52Speaker 3: was five percent. It's now two and a half, so
- 2:55Speaker 3: he's cut inflation in half. Already. Food prices are down.
- 2:59Speaker 3: They'll point to a couple of things, like beef prices.
- 3:01Speaker 3: What about beef, that's the reason for the beef prices
- 3:05Speaker 3: being way up. You can thank Joe Biden and the
- 3:08Speaker 3: Democrats for that. I don't know if you remember, but
- 3:10Speaker 3: about two years ago they started this war on cows,
- 3:14Speaker 3: claiming that cows caused climate change. I forget how they
- 3:18Speaker 3: came up with that or how they explained it, but
- 3:20Speaker 3: they went after the cattle industry in the Green Scheme,
- 3:24Speaker 3: and as a result, the cattle industry had to cut
- 3:28Speaker 3: back the size of herds and all that stuff. So
- 3:30Speaker 3: there are less cattle, less cows, less beef. Now they
- 3:34Speaker 3: have to get that back. It's just like with oil,
- 3:36Speaker 3: where they cut back drilling. There was less oil out
- 3:39Speaker 3: there and made the price go up. And the same
- 3:41Speaker 3: thing with cattle. We got a lot less cattle than
- 3:43Speaker 3: we usually have. So Trump administration has changed all that.
- 3:46Speaker 3: It'll take again, it takes more than a few months.
- 3:49Speaker 3: It's going to take a year to get the cattle
- 3:51Speaker 3: herds back up to where they were, and that brings
- 3:53Speaker 3: down the price. So it was in Pennsylvania to do
- 3:57Speaker 3: the rally to get the message out about afford But
- 4:00Speaker 3: wages are up since he took office. Wages are up,
- 4:03Speaker 3: prices are down. You got to get that across, although
- 4:06Speaker 3: it's tough because fake news will just keep yelling that
- 4:10Speaker 3: there's a terrible affordability crisis. It really isn't. It's a
- 4:16Speaker 3: lot better. I mean, if you call this an affordability crisis,
- 4:19Speaker 3: what did you call two years ago when it was
- 4:21Speaker 3: five times worse. So now the other reason you do
- 4:24Speaker 3: the rallies is a president who's a great speaker, great performer.
- 4:32Speaker 3: When he gets elected. Now he goes into the White
- 4:34Speaker 3: House and he's in the White House and that's it,
- 4:37Speaker 3: and he speaks. It's in a room with a podium
- 4:39Speaker 3: to people he knows. And after a while you start
- 4:44Speaker 3: to get well it's like your caged animal. You need
- 4:49Speaker 3: to get out there. They saw this with Reagan and
- 4:51Speaker 3: they realized they had to get him out there. Let him,
- 4:53Speaker 3: give him a big audience, give him thousands of people
- 4:55Speaker 3: out there, Let him do rallies, let him do speeches.
- 4:58Speaker 3: It's like a great actor, performer, comedian, singer. You gotta
- 5:02Speaker 3: let him go out on stage. You gotta let him
- 5:03Speaker 3: get out there. So they started to do these rallies
- 5:06Speaker 3: for Reagan for no reason, just because he needed it.
- 5:09Speaker 3: He needed the energy from the crowds, needed to get
- 5:12Speaker 3: out of the White House, get back in touch with
- 5:13Speaker 3: the people. So every couple of weeks they set up
- 5:17Speaker 3: something for Reagan, usually close by so he could get
- 5:20Speaker 3: there fast and get home fast. And then not California, nearby, Maryland, Pennsylvania.
- 5:26Speaker 3: So they need to do this with Trump. He needs
- 5:28Speaker 3: to get out there, get back on stage, get back
- 5:31Speaker 3: to performing for audiences. So you'll see more of these.
- 5:34Speaker 3: He did an hour and a half last night. I
- 5:38Speaker 3: know the fake news will tell you he's got no energy,
- 5:40Speaker 3: can't stay awake. He did an hour and a half,
- 5:42Speaker 3: a lot longer than he's supposed to do. He was
- 5:44Speaker 3: kind of all over the map, so he didn't. You know,
- 5:47Speaker 3: always say you got to stay on message, and well,
- 5:49Speaker 3: Trump's not going to do that. The coverage of it,
- 5:52Speaker 3: of course, is bad because that's the way they do things.
- 5:56Speaker 3: He talked about affordability, He talked in great detail about
- 5:59Speaker 3: what he would do about it, and a couple of
- 6:00Speaker 3: times he made some jokes. So if you're watching the
- 6:02Speaker 3: fake news, all they would say is he ridiculed affordability.
- 6:07Speaker 3: He made fun of the problem of affordability. Was totally
- 6:10Speaker 3: inaccurate portrayal of what happened. So you'll see more of
- 6:14Speaker 3: these rallies. Hey, yesterday had some special elections. The interesting
- 6:19Speaker 3: one was Miami mayoral election. Special election had a runoff.
- 6:24Speaker 3: The Democrat won. Now that's unusual. Usually it's a Republican
- 6:28Speaker 3: in Miami. It's the first time a Democrat has one
- 6:30Speaker 3: in thirty years in Miami. So if you're watching the
- 6:35Speaker 3: fake news, they'll tell you this is a bad sign
- 6:37Speaker 3: for the midterms. This is a bad barometer what's going
- 6:41Speaker 3: to happen in the midterms. The fact that the Democrat
- 6:43Speaker 3: won in Miami, of all places where Democrats never win,
- 6:47Speaker 3: this is a bad sign for a Well, I think
- 6:52Speaker 3: you got to look at more detail at this race,
- 6:54Speaker 3: nobody showed up to vote. There was no turnout. The
- 6:58Speaker 3: total votes thirty six thousand, which is unheard of. That's
- 7:02Speaker 3: incredibly low. So nobody showed up to vote. That's how
- 7:07Speaker 3: the Democrat got in. Now, as we've talked about here
- 7:10Speaker 3: in New York, they got the same problem in Miami.
- 7:12Speaker 3: There really is not much of a Republican party machine.
- 7:17Speaker 3: One thing about the Democrats. They have a strong party
- 7:21Speaker 3: with infrastructure, lots of bodies and what they call the
- 7:23Speaker 3: ground game, which is crucial. Boots on the ground that
- 7:27Speaker 3: get turnout, get people out to the polls. You know,
- 7:30Speaker 3: door knockers, people working phone banks, people you know, knocking
- 7:35Speaker 3: on doors. You need this kind of stuff. Democrats have
- 7:37Speaker 3: that same thing we have in New York. Same problem
- 7:40Speaker 3: in Miami. Republicans nothing public party is there, three people,
- 7:45Speaker 3: part time nothing. Democrats have a massive amount of people
- 7:49Speaker 3: on the ground to get turnout. So it was a
- 7:52Speaker 3: tiny little turnout and Democrats once said, don't take it
- 7:55Speaker 3: as much of a sign of anything. Hey, Jimmy Kimmel,
- 8:00Speaker 3: last Night special guest David Letterman is returned to late
- 8:04Speaker 3: night TV, and he looked like the old Letterman with
- 8:07Speaker 3: the suits and the tie and those shiny socks and
- 8:11Speaker 3: the loafers, and but still with the white beard. You know,
- 8:16Speaker 3: if you're a kid watching Jimmy Kimmel, you know, you
- 8:19Speaker 3: wouldn't know who Letterman is. And with that beard, you
- 8:20Speaker 3: must have thought this is Santa Claus or something coming up.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Although if you're a kid, you're not going to be
- 8:25Speaker 3: watching Jimmy Kimmel. These late night shows. Average age of
- 8:29Speaker 3: the viewers is sixty three years old on the late
- 8:31Speaker 3: night shows now most of them just talk about politics
- 8:34Speaker 3: these late night shows. Instead of fun stuff. It's all
- 8:37Speaker 3: political and when you do that, you get a much
- 8:39Speaker 3: older audience. Average age of msnbcviewer I think is sixty
- 8:43Speaker 3: seven now. But Letterman on Kimmel, you know, he was
- 8:50Speaker 3: very big in late night TV on CBS, in fact,
- 8:52Speaker 3: beating Jane Leno at times. But then about halfway through
- 8:56Speaker 3: his run on CBS, Letterman started to get political and
- 9:00Speaker 3: it was pretty obvious he was a very left wing guy,
- 9:03Speaker 3: so he lost half his audience. If you remember, he
- 9:06Speaker 3: was doing very well on CBS against the Tonight Show,
- 9:09Speaker 3: and then as he got political and went far to
- 9:11Speaker 3: the left, he started to lose audience, and it went
- 9:14Speaker 3: way down and started dropping and dropped almost in half
- 9:17Speaker 3: after a couple of years. So that was the end,
- 9:20Speaker 3: and that's when New it was time to go, and
- 9:22Speaker 3: CBS started looking around. But they made the mistake of
- 9:25Speaker 3: going with another left wing guy. You want a guy
- 9:28Speaker 3: in the middle. You know, if you kind of make
- 9:30Speaker 3: fun of everybody, you can do very well, as Greg
- 9:33Speaker 3: Guttfeldt proved by getting bit. He has more viewers than Kimmel,
- 9:37Speaker 3: Fallon and Colbert combined every night. He's the king of
- 9:42Speaker 3: late night now. So but the point is, Letterman came
- 9:45Speaker 3: out and he went really crazy with the Trump derangement syndrome.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I mean really going after Trump with a hysterical, hyperbolic,
- 9:54Speaker 3: vicious attacks on him. Now, the other thing he did
- 9:58Speaker 3: he came out and congratulate Jimmy Kimmel. He said, you
- 10:01Speaker 3: have just been re signed. You know, they tried to
- 10:03Speaker 3: throw you off the air, they tried to get rid
- 10:05Speaker 3: of you. They're pushing together, can get you fired. Yet
- 10:09Speaker 3: you just signed. You signed a big new contract. And
- 10:12Speaker 3: the audience cheered and went crazy for this big new contract. Well,
- 10:16Speaker 3: they're totally conning the audience. Kimmel did not get a
- 10:20Speaker 3: big new contract, and he fact, he got the most
- 10:22Speaker 3: insulting contract literally in the history of late night TV.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Every contract to re sign your late night host, it's
- 10:30Speaker 3: always five years, always five years. In case of a big,
- 10:36Speaker 3: big name like a Carson or in Oprah, it'd be
- 10:39Speaker 3: a ten year contract. Kimmel was re signed to a
- 10:43Speaker 3: one year extension, which is the worst insult. That's when
- 10:47Speaker 3: you really don't like somebody or you really don't think
- 10:50Speaker 3: you're gonna keep a one year extension. They tried to
- 10:53Speaker 3: do that to Carson in ninety one, and that's the
- 10:56Speaker 3: reason he left. That's where he made the decision it
- 10:58Speaker 3: was time to go and quit because he realized what
- 11:00Speaker 3: an insult that is. So Kimmel has not been resigned
- 11:03Speaker 3: to a big new contract. The reason they'll only do
- 11:07Speaker 3: a one year extension. This is the way they're not
- 11:08Speaker 3: stuck with you, and if they have to fire you tomorrow,
- 11:11Speaker 3: they don't have to pay out very much. They do
- 11:14Speaker 3: only have to pay out for eleven months or ten months,
- 11:16Speaker 3: which they would do anyway. So it's basically not even
- 11:19Speaker 3: really a renewal, huge insult to Kimmel. Letterman knows that
- 11:23Speaker 3: and was just totally conning the audience with his nonsense. So, hey,
- 11:31Speaker 3: Brad Lander, you know that is he was the controller,
- 11:35Speaker 3: a real left wing cook. He's no longer the controller.
- 11:38Speaker 3: His term is up and he's going to run for Congress.
- 11:42Speaker 3: He's trying to win Dan Goldman's seat.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Now, this.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Doesn't make any difference to anybody. Dan Goldman also a
- 11:51Speaker 3: far left cook. So if it's Lander Goldman, who cares.
- 11:55Speaker 3: But Lander is trying to run on something. Accomplishments. He
- 12:00Speaker 3: tries to in this commercial list his accomplishments. He doesn't
- 12:05Speaker 3: have any. So what could he possibly come up with. Well,
- 12:07Speaker 3: he mentioned the fact that he got arrested fighting ice.
- 12:11Speaker 3: That's the accomplishment. Remember there was an ice proceeding going
- 12:14Speaker 3: on in the courtroom and Lander tried to burst in
- 12:17Speaker 3: and they told him he can't come in right now,
- 12:19Speaker 3: and he didn't listen, and he came in and they
- 12:20Speaker 3: had to arrest him and take him out. He was
- 12:23Speaker 3: being disorderly. He was totally guilty of disorderly conduct. Governor
- 12:27Speaker 3: Hokeel was called and ran right down to the courthouse
- 12:29Speaker 3: and got him released in her custody. But he's just
- 12:33Speaker 3: a clown, just a silly guy, far left guy. He
- 12:39Speaker 3: is one of the reasons we have Mom Donnie as mayor.
- 12:42Speaker 3: He worked hard to get Mom Donnie elected. You remember,
- 12:44Speaker 3: there was a primary and Lander was running against Mam Donnie.
- 12:48Speaker 3: But then at some point he decided to join the
- 12:50Speaker 3: Mom Donnie team. They got together, they pulled their voters,
- 12:53Speaker 3: he endorsed Mom donn. He got him through that primary,
- 12:57Speaker 3: and so they were very close. There were teammates on
- 13:00Speaker 3: this whole thing. And then something went wrong there and
- 13:04Speaker 3: Mom Donnie cut off Lander. After all this happened, you
- 13:08Speaker 3: figured Brad Lander bei a big part of the administration.
- 13:12Speaker 3: They had some kind of breakup, some kind of fight,
- 13:14Speaker 3: and Mom Donnie cut Lander off completely. So apparently Lander
- 13:21Speaker 3: too represhensible even for Mom Donnie, so he was cut off.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Now he's running for this seat. He's a big blowhard showboat.
- 13:30Speaker 3: He's like a George Santos, kind of one stunt after another,
- 13:35Speaker 3: trying to get publicity. Problem mcdan goldman. Besides being a
- 13:39Speaker 3: far left kook, he's kind of a quiet guy. I
- 13:41Speaker 3: don't think he can compete with all the stunts. So
- 13:45Speaker 3: who knows. Lander may have a shot against him. You know,
- 13:49Speaker 3: the most fascinating thing is Minnesota, the Somali community where
- 13:53Speaker 3: this fraud took place. Whenever, whenever Democratic leaders start yelling
- 13:59Speaker 3: about programs for the homeless, money seems to disappear. You know,
- 14:04Speaker 3: the great thing about the green scheme, the climate change,
- 14:07Speaker 3: it was billions in contracts to hand out billions. So
- 14:12Speaker 3: that's why Democrats love that climate change green scheme stuff.
- 14:16Speaker 3: That's what it's called the Green steam scheme. You give
- 14:19Speaker 3: out massive contracts to companies in exchange for huge donations
- 14:23Speaker 3: and whatever you needed.
- 14:25Speaker 4: Well, a lot of.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Democrats, especially locally mayors and those sorts, I've realized the
- 14:31Speaker 3: homeless scheme is much better. The problem with the Green
- 14:35Speaker 3: scheme when you give out a contract, it's to a
- 14:38Speaker 3: company in Colorado that makes windmills or something, and they
- 14:42Speaker 3: found with the homeless, the money doesn't leave the community.
- 14:46Speaker 3: You're still giving out massive contracts, but you're given them
- 14:50Speaker 3: out right in your neighborhood to people you know. So
- 14:53Speaker 3: the money comes back to you in a lot more
- 14:55Speaker 3: ways and a lot faster. So you remember, Build de
- 14:58Speaker 3: Blasio and his wife set up this crazy program when
- 15:02Speaker 3: he was mayor called Thrive NYC. And it was helped
- 15:07Speaker 3: the homeless. And if you actually asked him, well, what
- 15:10Speaker 3: exactly show me the program. Well, it's yoga for homeless.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yoga for homeless. Literally, that was one of the programs.
- 15:17Speaker 3: So a billion dollars was handed out. After it was
- 15:21Speaker 3: all over, everybody looked for the money or what happened,
- 15:24Speaker 3: and they couldn't They couldn't find it. Even the missus
- 15:27Speaker 3: Deblasio and the husband admitted they don't know where the
- 15:30Speaker 3: money went. They can't find it, they can't keep track
- 15:32Speaker 3: of it. Well, you got Minneapolis, you got the Somali
- 15:38Speaker 3: leaders as elon Omars, these types they set up the
- 15:41Speaker 3: same thing. Programs are the homeless. And if you were
- 15:44Speaker 3: running a homeless type program, they would give you money
- 15:47Speaker 3: out of all these funds, government funds, taxpayer funds, federal funds.
- 15:51Speaker 3: And they started passing out money and it's all gone.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Nobody can find it. And it looks like first a billion,
- 15:59Speaker 3: then they said it's probably two billion. Now they think
- 16:01Speaker 3: it might be as much as eight billion has been
- 16:04Speaker 3: stolen from taxpayers has disappeared into this homeless scheme. And
- 16:09Speaker 3: this is one of the great great scandals of the
- 16:13Speaker 3: news media. Fake news. You'll notice you're not seeing any
- 16:15Speaker 3: coverage of this. If we had legitimate actual media, if CBSABC,
- 16:21Speaker 3: NBC were legitimate, they'd be all over this. They would
- 16:25Speaker 3: dispatch a whole team of reporters, go to Minneapolis, don't
- 16:28Speaker 3: leave until you found out what happened, get to the
- 16:31Speaker 3: bottom of this. The New York Times, the Washington Post.
- 16:33Speaker 3: They'd be sending reporters. There's no coverage, no mention of it.
- 16:38Speaker 3: They don't want you to know about it. So this
- 16:41Speaker 3: is what democrats do. Now, they've got these homeless schemes
- 16:45Speaker 3: where you get to hand out money left and right. Now,
- 16:49Speaker 3: Mom Donnie gets elected, what's he talking about setting up
- 16:51Speaker 3: a homeless program, setting up a massive program to handout
- 16:56Speaker 3: massive contracts on the So we had imagined it's the
- 16:59Speaker 3: same exact scheme, and that's what will happen here. And
- 17:04Speaker 3: we've already got some good homeless programs. He's canceling them
- 17:07Speaker 3: because they basically don't hand out massive contracts to anybody.
- 17:11Speaker 3: So it's going to be interesting to see what happens now,
- 17:13Speaker 3: Mom Donnie takes over. I know you're hearing everybody's fleeing,
- 17:16Speaker 3: everybody's leaving New York with this not true. I'm sure
- 17:19Speaker 3: you can find somebody that's leaving New York. But the
- 17:22Speaker 3: best thing to do is look at real estate sales.
- 17:25Speaker 3: As far as apartments condos, sales are up up dramatically
- 17:30Speaker 3: in the last month. Now, sometimes that always happens year end,
- 17:33Speaker 3: but you had eight hundred and seventy six contracts signed
- 17:38Speaker 3: the last month. It'll take the super high end, very expensive,
- 17:43Speaker 3: multi zillion dollar apartments. You had nine contracts signed last week.
- 17:46Speaker 4: That's a lot.
- 17:47Speaker 3: And the better thing check the rental market. That's people
- 17:50Speaker 3: coming in. Rentals in New York City are through the roof.
- 17:54Speaker 3: In fact, right now, it's very tough to rent an
- 17:56Speaker 3: apartment because rentals are going crazy, so people are moving
- 18:00Speaker 3: in despite Mom.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Donnie.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Anyway, we've got a lot to get to. We'll take
- 18:05Speaker 3: some calls in a moment. Eight hundred three to two
- 18:07Speaker 3: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 18:11Speaker 3: two one zero seven ten.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Let's get back to the Mark Simone show on wr.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Hey, Let's take some calls.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven Tennis, Peter,
- 18:26Speaker 3: Peter and Harlem. He's always angry about something, Peter, what's
- 18:29Speaker 3: going on?
- 18:29Speaker 5: I'm not angry.
- 18:30Speaker 4: They're always angry about something.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Wait, let me say somethingience Number One, you didn't tell
- 18:36Speaker 5: the audience are two questions are a hang up, you
- 18:39Speaker 5: didn't tell the audience who's written those expensive apartments and
- 18:43Speaker 5: the fact that they might even be red Chinese or
- 18:45Speaker 5: our enemy. Secondly, well, we got to go.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Super super luxury apartments in New York very often are
- 18:56Speaker 3: a lot of Chinese people, a lot of Arab you
- 19:00Speaker 3: know people, a lot of the Middle Eastern people, a
- 19:02Speaker 3: lot of Russians. One of the reasons is, especially China
- 19:05Speaker 3: and those places, they don't trust their own government, and
- 19:08Speaker 3: they got to park money somewhere just in case they
- 19:11Speaker 3: have to flee, so they'll buy like a one hundred
- 19:16Speaker 3: million dollar apartment in New York. That way, they got
- 19:18Speaker 3: an asset. It's there. You know, if they have to
- 19:20Speaker 3: leave China, they can sell it. And you know, they
- 19:24Speaker 3: bought up all the apartments in New York that way,
- 19:27Speaker 3: and then they ran the apartments to buy. That's one
- 19:30Speaker 3: reason you cannot buy a rolex right now. If the
- 19:33Speaker 3: certain watches Paddock Philippe and the rolex, there's like a
- 19:36Speaker 3: three year waiting list because a lot of the same
- 19:38Speaker 3: people they had to park their assets somewhere, so they
- 19:41Speaker 3: start buying up every watch in the world too. That's
- 19:44Speaker 3: why there's a massive waiting list. Let's go to Phyllis
- 19:48Speaker 3: in Brooklyn, Phillis. How you doing all right?
- 19:51Speaker 6: Good morning. I was just wondering conversation you had with
- 19:55Speaker 6: Saudius today. You know about the documentary this scen your
- 20:00Speaker 6: Enterprises was preparing. I believe you were part of it.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Now, Oh, you're talking about it's actually Fox News or
- 20:06Speaker 3: Fox Nation. It's a big, massive Sinatra documentary. They interviewed
- 20:11Speaker 3: everybody in the world. Yeah, I'm on it too. Have
- 20:13Speaker 3: you seen it? Do you know where it is?
- 20:14Speaker 6: No?
- 20:15Speaker 5: I don't.
- 20:15Speaker 6: That's why I'm calling.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Well.
- 20:18Speaker 4: I remember when I did it.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I said once it's coming out, and they said in
- 20:20Speaker 3: the fall, I don't think it's out yet, but it's coming.
- 20:22Speaker 7: Soon and it will be out again.
- 20:26Speaker 3: It's not out yet, it's coming out, but it's a
- 20:29Speaker 3: These guys that did this documentary, they were younger guys,
- 20:33Speaker 3: but they really knew what they were doing. And I
- 20:37Speaker 3: know they went to Patsy's and interviewed everybody there, and
- 20:41Speaker 3: they interviewed me for like three hours, and they were
- 20:44Speaker 3: I was telling them everybody who would know everything about
- 20:46Speaker 3: Sinatra's given them all the names to interview. Every time
- 20:49Speaker 3: I mentioned anybody that we already did them. We already
- 20:50Speaker 3: did them. We just got done. So they interviewed everybody.
- 20:54Speaker 3: They were very thorough. Big Sinatra documentary. I don't know
- 20:57Speaker 3: if it's Fox News or Fox Nation, but it'll be
- 21:00Speaker 3: coming out soon. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 21:03Speaker 3: how you doing.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 21:06Speaker 6: That's not your thing.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Should be great. You know.
- 21:10Speaker 8: Thomas Saul, the famous economists, once said affordable housing is
- 21:14Speaker 8: housing you can afford. And it sounds kind of flippant,
- 21:17Speaker 8: but that's the truth. I mean, nobody could afford to
- 21:20Speaker 8: live in Manhattan.
- 21:21Speaker 4: You know, or any big city.
- 21:23Speaker 8: It's expensive to live there. And I think it's great
- 21:26Speaker 8: that the president is out making his case, but where
- 21:29Speaker 8: are the other Republicans? You know, where are those months?
- 21:31Speaker 2: Why aren't they speaking up?
- 21:33Speaker 5: I mean Trump speaks every day to.
- 21:35Speaker 8: The media and makes his case every day for hours
- 21:37Speaker 8: on end, you.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Know, every every new you know.
- 21:39Speaker 8: Every every day, see another news conference from the from
- 21:43Speaker 8: the office there, and you know, where are the other
- 21:45Speaker 8: Republicans out there?
- 21:47Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 21:48Speaker 3: Well, it's Trump is right about the hoax. He doesn't
- 21:50Speaker 3: explain it that well. But the whole thing is especially
- 21:54Speaker 3: affordable housing. You know, there's places where you're not gonna
- 21:57Speaker 3: have affordable housing because they're very well the areas, and
- 22:02Speaker 3: you can yell and scream. You know, if you went
- 22:04Speaker 3: to Southampton, right on the water on what's that lane there, whatever, lane,
- 22:12Speaker 3: metal lane, further lane, whatever it is right on the
- 22:15Speaker 3: water in Southampton, every house is like eighty million dollars.
- 22:18Speaker 3: You could stand there and say why isn't there affordable
- 22:22Speaker 3: housing because it's not.
- 22:22Speaker 4: Supposed to be.
- 22:24Speaker 3: If you go to the next town up, if you
- 22:27Speaker 3: go to Riverhead, there's plenty of affordable housing. It just
- 22:30Speaker 3: there's very, very very expensive neighborhoods. There's very poor neighborhoods,
- 22:34Speaker 3: and there's everything in between. Speaking of the Hampton, there's
- 22:37Speaker 3: an affordable housing crisis fight out. I'll tell you about
- 22:40Speaker 3: this the next start. It's a good illustration.
- 22:42Speaker 4: But if you go to.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Long Island, you go anywhere in Long Island, you go
- 22:46Speaker 3: to Garden City, it's expensive. They don't have any affordable housing,
- 22:51Speaker 3: but they don't need to because you go ten blocks
- 22:53Speaker 3: that way, you're in Hampstead and there's plenty of affordable housing.
- 22:57Speaker 3: You're not supposed to have affordable housing everywhere. It's okay
- 22:59Speaker 3: to have a wealthy neighborhood, a middle class neighborhood, a
- 23:03Speaker 3: poorer neighbor It happens. So we'll get into this in
- 23:06Speaker 3: the next hour when we come back. Our old buddy,
- 23:08Speaker 3: Monica Crowley, now the Chief Protocol Officer of the United States.
- 23:13Speaker 3: We'll talk to her next on seven to ten w R.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Mister New York. He's on the case the mar Simon Show. Seven.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Well, Hey, we knew her when she was just Monica Crowley.
- 23:28Speaker 3: She is now the Chief of Protocol of the United
- 23:32Speaker 3: States of America. She is the Ambassador Monica Crowley, Madam Ambassador.
- 23:37Speaker 4: How you doing.
- 23:39Speaker 7: Hi, Good morning, Mark. I'm doing well, although I have
- 23:42Speaker 7: to say keeping up with President Trump is quite the project.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Oh I don't know.
- 23:47Speaker 3: I was reading the New York Times. Apparently he's cognitive. Whatever,
- 23:51Speaker 3: he's falling asleep. He can't find it.
- 23:55Speaker 7: I mean, you know, the propagandaize coming from the mainstream
- 23:59Speaker 7: media just never stop. It is the exact opposite. You know,
- 24:04Speaker 7: you would think that if they wanted to lie about
- 24:06Speaker 7: President Trump, and they have for the last eleven years
- 24:09Speaker 7: since he became a leader and a candidate and a president.
- 24:14Speaker 7: But you would think that it would have like some
- 24:17Speaker 7: semblance of believability. This is like President Trump literally never sleeps.
- 24:24Speaker 7: He is going around the clock. There is no such
- 24:27Speaker 7: thing as a day off, There is no such thing
- 24:29Speaker 7: as a weekend. It is NonStop with him. And it
- 24:32Speaker 7: is all geared to the American people, to bringing America back,
- 24:36Speaker 7: making America great again, getting our economy back on track,
- 24:40Speaker 7: which is why he was back doing a rally in
- 24:43Speaker 7: Pennsylvania yesterday. It is about securing peace around the world,
- 24:47Speaker 7: to make sure that conflicts around the world are minimized
- 24:51Speaker 7: and ended, which brings greater prosperity to their regions, to
- 24:55Speaker 7: the world, and to the United States. The man never stops.
- 25:00Speaker 3: If they weren't so corrupt, it's a more fascinating story.
- 25:04Speaker 3: They could be reporting that no president ever behaved like this.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Usually it's a press conference two weeks from Monday. Nobody's
- 25:10Speaker 3: ever had four hundred press conferences a day, or just
- 25:14Speaker 3: events around the clock. But and do you sometimes not
- 25:19Speaker 3: even know where you're going to be, what city. The
- 25:21Speaker 3: way he moves and keeps moving.
- 25:23Speaker 7: It is nonsense. Every day I wake up, Mark, and
- 25:26Speaker 7: I'm like, Okay, what kind of adventure is going to
- 25:28Speaker 7: be coming out me today? And it really is an adventure.
- 25:31Speaker 7: Every day is a blessing. But I have to say
- 25:34Speaker 7: at the end of last week, I, in the space
- 25:37Speaker 7: of seventy two hours, Mark, I went from dealing with
- 25:41Speaker 7: the President of Rwanda to the president of FIFA and
- 25:47Speaker 7: FIFA legends to Jane Simmons of.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Kiss Yeah, tell us about it.
- 25:54Speaker 7: Really in seventy two hours, It's just extraordinary.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Yeah, tell us about the Kennedy Center. It looked really great.
- 26:00Speaker 3: That's Sunday night ceremony.
- 26:03Speaker 7: Oh, absolutely amazing. So on Thursday last week, the President
- 26:07Speaker 7: presided over Peacedale between the presidents of Rwanda and the
- 26:11Speaker 7: Congo and that conflict has been going on for thirty
- 26:14Speaker 7: five years, so he brokeer that peace deal and we
- 26:18Speaker 7: did that, and then on Friday at the Kennedy Center,
- 26:21Speaker 7: we hosted FIFA for the twenty twenty sixth final draw
- 26:25Speaker 7: for the World Cup next year, which President Trump heroically
- 26:29Speaker 7: brought to the United States back in his first term.
- 26:32Speaker 7: So we did that on Friday, and then all weekend
- 26:36Speaker 7: we celebrated at the Kennedy Center for the Kennedy Center Honors,
- 26:40Speaker 7: which was taped on Sunday, and it's going to air,
- 26:44Speaker 7: I believe, on December twenty third on CBS, so the
- 26:48Speaker 7: rest of the country will get to see what we
- 26:50Speaker 7: saw live on Sunday night. And it was just magical.
- 26:55Speaker 7: We had so many acts that are just purely American
- 27:00Speaker 7: CONTs like George Street and Kiss and Gloria Gaynor, Sylvester Stallone.
- 27:06Speaker 7: It was just absolutely magical to see all of these
- 27:11Speaker 7: phenomenal acts get their due. Michael Crawford of course, get
- 27:16Speaker 7: their due with tributes and then tribute performances. So I
- 27:21Speaker 7: encourage everybody to watch on December twenty third on CBS
- 27:24Speaker 7: because you will love the show. But really, Mark, that's
- 27:27Speaker 7: another project that President Trump has taken under and turned around.
- 27:32Speaker 7: He has saved the Kennedy Center, which is one of
- 27:36Speaker 7: America's great cultural institutions. He has saved it.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, a lot of stuff is going on.
- 27:41Speaker 3: People don't realize. Apparently the infrastructure was crumbling at the
- 27:44Speaker 3: Kennedy Center. He had to fix that. He's fixed up
- 27:47Speaker 3: every inch of the White House, the entrance, the this,
- 27:50Speaker 3: the that, not to mention the ballroom and all that.
- 27:52Speaker 4: But the boy.
- 27:54Speaker 3: He doesn't get any credit for that.
- 27:57Speaker 7: He really, no, he doesn't, but I'll tell you he will.
- 28:02Speaker 7: He will because he really believes said our capital city, Washington,
- 28:07Speaker 7: d C. Should be a sparkling gem. And that is
- 28:11Speaker 7: why he is moving on all fronts to turn our
- 28:14Speaker 7: capital city into that shining city on a hill that
- 28:18Speaker 7: Ronald Reagan talked about when he talked about America. But
- 28:21Speaker 7: President Trump really believes that the entire country will follow
- 28:25Speaker 7: suit if our capital is cleaned up and made safe.
- 28:30Speaker 7: And that's why we have the National Guard on the streets.
- 28:33Speaker 7: And we had that horror happened right around Thanksgiving where
- 28:37Speaker 7: we had two National guardsmen shot and one unfortunately passed away.
- 28:42Speaker 7: One is struggling for his life still. But he has
- 28:45Speaker 7: actually ratcheted up the National Guard present since that horrific shooting. Washington,
- 28:53Speaker 7: d C. Now is incredibly safe, much safe for them
- 28:57Speaker 7: where you were now sparkling and it does extend who
- 29:00Speaker 7: are institutions as well, like the Kennedy Center. He has
- 29:04Speaker 7: done all of that while turning the US economy around,
- 29:10Speaker 7: while brokering peace deals around the world. Again, the man
- 29:14Speaker 7: never stops for good.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Hey, Now, Monica Crowley as chief of protocol. All the
- 29:20Speaker 3: world leaders come to the White House, they first meet
- 29:23Speaker 3: with you, and we see you greet them, and you're
- 29:24Speaker 3: sitting with them and you're talking with them. What do
- 29:27Speaker 3: you notice they all have in common, all the different
- 29:29Speaker 3: world leaders, as far.
- 29:31Speaker 7: As that's a really yeah, that's a really interesting question. Mark,
- 29:35Speaker 7: thank you. Yes, I mean my office and I've got
- 29:40Speaker 7: an absolutely phenomenal team. I cannot do any of this
- 29:44Speaker 7: without them. They are just incredible. And what we do
- 29:48Speaker 7: is manage the diplomatic engagements for the President, the Vice President,
- 29:52Speaker 7: and the Secretary of State. So I am I am
- 29:56Speaker 7: obviously hooked to the President and these world leaders. And
- 30:00Speaker 7: I have to say that most of them, not all,
- 30:04Speaker 7: but the vast majority of these world leaders. First of all,
- 30:08Speaker 7: they when they come in, they all have a sense
- 30:12Speaker 7: of awe of the President and the White House in America.
- 30:16Speaker 7: They all understand where they are and even if they're
- 30:18Speaker 7: meeting with the president elsewhere, like President Putin of Russia
- 30:23Speaker 7: met with President Trump in Alaska, so not in the
- 30:26Speaker 7: White House, but there is a fundamental understanding that they
- 30:30Speaker 7: are dealing with the world's superpower. And President Trump is
- 30:34Speaker 7: one of the few presidents in recent history to understand
- 30:38Speaker 7: the importance of American leverage and knows how to use it.
- 30:43Speaker 7: He knows he's sitting atop the world's superpower militarily, economically, diplomatically, politically, culturally,
- 30:50Speaker 7: and he leverages it, and he knows how to leverage it.
- 30:54Speaker 7: This is why, you know, coming out of his business
- 30:56Speaker 7: background is so invaluable. But these were leaders understand, and
- 31:01Speaker 7: I would say almost all of them have said to
- 31:05Speaker 7: me and to others, you know, even if we disagree
- 31:08Speaker 7: with President Trump on policy, even if we have serious
- 31:13Speaker 7: policy differences with the administration with the United States, we
- 31:18Speaker 7: all appreciate a strong American president. They all appreciate that
- 31:24Speaker 7: he is strong and that he tells them the truth. Now,
- 31:29Speaker 7: they may not like the truth, they may not like
- 31:32Speaker 7: what they're hearing from him, they may disagree right, and
- 31:36Speaker 7: they may want to counter it, but they all understand
- 31:40Speaker 7: that having a strong American hand in the White House,
- 31:44Speaker 7: sitting atop the country, they know exactly where they stand.
- 31:48Speaker 7: They don't have to waste time guessing what does the
- 31:50Speaker 7: president believe, where's American policy going. They know exactly where
- 31:55Speaker 7: they stand, and then they can operate from there. And
- 31:57Speaker 7: they all appreciate that more.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Than you know.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Wow, well, hey, we only got about thirty seconds left.
- 32:03Speaker 3: You got the most important, glamorous job. But tell the truth,
- 32:06Speaker 3: you miss us, You miss New York. You miss the
- 32:09Speaker 3: radio and TV, don't you.
- 32:11Speaker 9: Well.
- 32:12Speaker 7: I am so blessed to be in this job, and
- 32:14Speaker 7: I thank God every day, and I thank the President
- 32:16Speaker 7: for having the confidence in me to do this job.
- 32:19Speaker 7: It is incredibly important and I'm just so grateful. But
- 32:22Speaker 7: I am a New Yorker. So while I'm in DC
- 32:25Speaker 7: doing this job, while President Trump is in office, as
- 32:28Speaker 7: long as they will have me, I am still a
- 32:30Speaker 7: New York girl. And I pray and hope that we
- 32:33Speaker 7: will survive the Mondommie years, and that he will he
- 32:37Speaker 7: will moderate, because you know, New York City is the
- 32:40Speaker 7: capitalist gem, the cultural gem of this country, and it
- 32:45Speaker 7: cannot go the way of a San Francisco or a
- 32:48Speaker 7: Seattle or Portland. It cannot be gutted. And so I
- 32:52Speaker 7: hope him pray that while you're all there, you guys,
- 32:55Speaker 7: every New Yorker will work hard to save our city.
- 32:58Speaker 3: All right, Well, Monica, keep up the great work. Hey,
- 33:01Speaker 3: next time we'll talk about this coming year. You got
- 33:03Speaker 3: the biggest events and coming this next year. But great job,
- 33:07Speaker 3: Monica Crowley, Ambassador Monica Crowley, Chief of Protocol of the
- 33:11Speaker 3: United States. You're doing a great job. Thanks for being
- 33:13Speaker 3: with us.
- 33:14Speaker 7: Thank you so much much, Mark, and Merry Christmas.
- 33:17Speaker 3: All right, Merry Christmas. Take care, Hey, don't forget. Coming
- 33:21Speaker 3: up at noon, it's Buck Sexton and Clay Travis with

- 33:37Speaker 3: night at nine it's Jimmy Fayla On seven to ten.
- 33:40Speaker 3: Wor set up said on the iHeart Radio app to
- 33:43Speaker 3: dou wor to hear Mark live.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Set another for Mark's podcast, to hear him anytime now
- 33:50Speaker 1: back to Mark Simone on WOR.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Well, Hey, we got to to get to it in
- 33:56Speaker 3: the next hour. You know, I'm here every day ten
- 33:58Speaker 3: to noon. If you can listen lot or if you
- 34:00Speaker 3: can't listen live, you can get the podcast. You hear
- 34:02Speaker 3: the show anytime, day or night. Back right after the
- 34:05Speaker 3: news with another hour to go on seven to ten wr.
- 34:08Speaker 10: Mark Somemo the issues you really care about on seven
- 34:13Speaker 10: ten wor.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Well, it's a little better today, it's not quite as
- 34:24Speaker 3: cold as yesterday. We got a lot to get to
- 34:27Speaker 3: this hour, the affordability crisis, we got Mom Donnie to
- 34:33Speaker 3: talk about, and Christmas and a whole lot of stuff.
- 34:38Speaker 3: When you're in the supermarket more and more, have you
- 34:41Speaker 3: started using the self checkout or you still? It depends
- 34:44Speaker 3: if your cashiers. They always have like seven lanes and
- 34:48Speaker 3: only three cashiers. And I've never seen have you ever
- 34:53Speaker 3: been in the supermarket? We're every single aisle, every single
- 34:56Speaker 3: lane has a cashier and it never ever, ever, why
- 34:59Speaker 3: do they do? Like when you go to the bank,
- 35:01Speaker 3: they have twelve windows. There's always two tellers. Why did
- 35:04Speaker 3: they build twelve windows. There's never been twelve tellers working
- 35:07Speaker 3: at the same time ever in a bank. So when
- 35:10Speaker 3: you go to the self checkout, it's pretty easy unless
- 35:14Speaker 3: you got stuff that's got to be weighed, and then
- 35:16Speaker 3: it gets a little tough. Now, be honest, did you
- 35:22Speaker 3: ever steal anything at the self checkout? You know, you
- 35:25Speaker 3: don't have to run every single item right by that scanner.
- 35:30Speaker 3: You run one or two. You got your bag set up,
- 35:32Speaker 3: you're throwing them in the bag, be totally honest. Did
- 35:37Speaker 3: you ever maybe one item you didn't ring up or
- 35:39Speaker 3: two or thin? Well, it happens a lot. There's a
- 35:42Speaker 3: couple of chains that got rid of self checkout because
- 35:44Speaker 3: of that exact problem. They were losing too much to theft.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Now there's been a study done about this apparently, Now
- 35:55Speaker 3: who would steal like that from the self checkout? Wealthy
- 35:58Speaker 3: Americans apparently are stealing much more from self served checkouts
- 36:02Speaker 3: than anybody else. A sizable forty percent forty of wealthy
- 36:09Speaker 3: Americans have admitted to not scanning an item in a store. Now,
- 36:12Speaker 3: sometimes you try to scan it, it doesn't scan, or
- 36:15Speaker 3: sometimes it's bananas or something. You got to weigh it,
- 36:18Speaker 3: and the damna know you know, know how to you
- 36:20Speaker 3: just throw it in the bag. If you break it down.
- 36:22Speaker 3: By sex, men steal far more than women do, almost
- 36:28Speaker 3: more than double the rate. Well okay, I mean, it's
- 36:31Speaker 3: pretty obvious men do more bad things than women do. Generally,
- 36:35Speaker 3: many of those surveys said they feel justified in stealing
- 36:38Speaker 3: some minor items. Thirty percent say the store is too
- 36:42Speaker 3: large and profitable. They don't feel the petty theft will
- 36:46Speaker 3: do anything to them. Thirty five percent. So they feel
- 36:51Speaker 3: that having to scan the items in self checkout is
- 36:54Speaker 3: unpaid labor, and this is compensation for it.
- 36:58Speaker 4: It's kind of true.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Remember Amazon opened those stores. They had one in time
- 37:04Speaker 3: Warner's Center, they had one near Grandson. Remember Amazon tried
- 37:07Speaker 3: doing stores, these little stores where you could walk in,
- 37:10Speaker 3: grab a little shopping cart thing and take whatever you
- 37:15Speaker 3: want and leave because each item had some little tag
- 37:18Speaker 3: on it that as you walked out, the door would
- 37:21Speaker 3: click and it would build your Amazon account automatically. Now
- 37:26Speaker 3: whatever happened to that? Why can't I guess it's tougher
- 37:29Speaker 3: for a supermarket to do it, But that's the best
- 37:31Speaker 3: system Amazon tried that. I noticed those stores are all
- 37:33Speaker 3: gone now, but it was a great idea walk in,
- 37:37Speaker 3: grab whatever you want. Everything's got a little tag that
- 37:40Speaker 3: like a little Bluetooth tag on it. It'll when you
- 37:43Speaker 3: walk out, you go through a scanner, it'll see exactly
- 37:45Speaker 3: what you took and charge you for It makes perfect sense.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Luigi Mangioni, The hearing's going on, and I keep reading
- 37:53Speaker 3: all these things about how good looking he is. Do
- 37:54Speaker 3: you find him really good looking? Luigi Mangioni, There is
- 38:01Speaker 3: something about him women like I don't know, they like
- 38:03Speaker 3: his eyes, they like as this, I don't know, they
- 38:06Speaker 3: like those big enormous eyebrows whatever, and a good looking
- 38:13Speaker 3: I don't know, he kind of look. If you're making
- 38:15Speaker 3: a movie about Lenny Bruce, I could see hiring him
- 38:17Speaker 3: to play Lenny Bruce. He kind of has that look
- 38:19Speaker 3: about him. But Lenny Bruce was like a good looking guy,
- 38:21Speaker 3: but kind of ratty looking, a little scruffy looking. So
- 38:25Speaker 3: I don't know. But there's more and more of this
- 38:29Speaker 3: where on the left they just idolize any kind of criminal.
- 38:33Speaker 3: You could be an illegal alien, you could be a
- 38:35Speaker 3: narco terrorist moving drugs. You could even be an assassin.
- 38:39Speaker 3: To hear a criminal, The left loves you. They're out
- 38:42Speaker 3: there fighting for you. And even these candidates Brad Lander
- 38:47Speaker 3: talking about fighting for immigrants, they're not immigrants. They're illegals.
- 38:51Speaker 3: They're illegals that broke into the country. There's nothing more
- 38:55Speaker 3: insulting to immigrants than putting illegal, well illegals across the
- 39:01Speaker 3: border illegally into the same category with them. It's just
- 39:04Speaker 3: a awful awful thing to do, but it's happening more
- 39:10Speaker 3: and more.
- 39:11Speaker 4: So.
- 39:11Speaker 3: There's also a movement right now to get rid of you.
- 39:16Speaker 3: No more cell phones in the classroom. Kid comes to school,
- 39:20Speaker 3: got to lock up his cell phones for the day.
- 39:22Speaker 3: When he leaves, he gets it back. But now there's
- 39:23Speaker 3: more and more of a movement to take it away
- 39:26Speaker 3: from kids in general, like no more cell phones, no
- 39:30Speaker 3: more social media for a kid. And this is both
- 39:35Speaker 3: sides of the aisle. Republicans talking about it, Democrats talking
- 39:38Speaker 3: about it. You may have seen the ram Emmanuel I
- 39:41Speaker 3: don't know why he thinks this is a big issue
- 39:43Speaker 3: for him. He wants to run for president in twenty
- 39:45Speaker 3: twenty eight. All over the airwaves now talking about no
- 39:48Speaker 3: more social media for kids, keep it away from them.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Even Lara Trump on a show said they got three kids.
- 39:56Speaker 3: They got one iPad for the kids, and they lock
- 39:58Speaker 3: it up most of the day. They want their kids
- 40:01Speaker 3: reading books. Well, okay, but this has gone on forever,
- 40:07Speaker 3: this debate. You know, you got a kid now he's
- 40:10Speaker 3: spending too many hours looking at his phone, looking at
- 40:14Speaker 3: social media, looking at this. But it is the same
- 40:16Speaker 3: thing years ago when you were a kid, only it
- 40:18Speaker 3: was television, it wasn't social media. You know, your parents
- 40:22Speaker 3: would yell at you stop watching TV all day, Go
- 40:24Speaker 3: outside and play, go do your homework. Why you don't
- 40:27Speaker 3: just sit there and watch TV? And you might think
- 40:30Speaker 3: that's not as bad, but it was just as bad.
- 40:32Speaker 3: What were you watching on TV? Nothing Worthwhile you're watching
- 40:34Speaker 3: Gilligan's Island reruns, you're watching The Monsters every day. I mean,
- 40:39Speaker 3: it wasn't anything great you were watching. You probably learn
- 40:41Speaker 3: more on TikTok than you did back then watching The
- 40:45Speaker 3: Monsters every day and reruns or I'll leave it to
- 40:48Speaker 3: Beaver was a show with some substance to it. So
- 40:52Speaker 3: there's more and more of this movement to get kids
- 40:54Speaker 3: to read books. But you kind of need the phone
- 40:59Speaker 3: to read a book, your kindle there to read it.
- 41:01Speaker 3: But I guess you could still read actual books now.
- 41:03Speaker 3: But we'll see where this goes. So Tucker Carlson, people
- 41:09Speaker 3: keep asking about this. What the hell happened to him?
- 41:12Speaker 3: You know, Tucker Carlson was a pretty respectable, legitimate figure
- 41:15Speaker 3: when he was on Fox News. There he was discussing
- 41:19Speaker 3: issues with great American politicians. Now you see the guy
- 41:24Speaker 3: and he's like a raving maniac online and he's got
- 41:29Speaker 3: this anti semi creep weirdo on he's allowing this guy
- 41:34Speaker 3: to have his say on his show, and then what
- 41:38Speaker 3: was it earlier this week he's in cutter talking about
- 41:41Speaker 3: how he's moving there. Just one wacky thing after another,
- 41:45Speaker 3: and then you see a bunch of these people doing that,
- 41:47Speaker 3: Megan Kelly, all these people acting like wacko lunatics, and
- 41:50Speaker 3: what it is they've all been fired. They don't work
- 41:54Speaker 3: anywhere anymore. You know, if you're on the Fox News
- 41:56Speaker 3: channels's got millions of viewers, and if you do a
- 41:59Speaker 3: show that there, millions of people will see you. Now
- 42:03Speaker 3: if you get fired and you're doing a podcast out
- 42:05Speaker 3: of your bedroom and you're not on a network and
- 42:08Speaker 3: nobody sees you. So the only way what do you do?
- 42:11Speaker 3: How do you get attention? Well, you got to do
- 42:13Speaker 3: some crazy thing that goes viral, even if it's on
- 42:16Speaker 3: the left, left wing stuff, you know, the left wing
- 42:19Speaker 3: sites start attacking you like crazy. At least it gets
- 42:22Speaker 3: your attention and publicity. So that's why Megan Kelly became
- 42:26Speaker 3: a total wacko. Also Tucker Carlson, Now there's a few others.
- 42:31Speaker 3: It's kind of like you remember Alex Jones, who you know,
- 42:35Speaker 3: normal people didn't pay attention to him. But all the
- 42:38Speaker 3: rednecks and hillbilly's and wackos and all they love this
- 42:41Speaker 3: Alex Jones and they went crazy with him. And he
- 42:43Speaker 3: made a fortune, made hundreds and hundreds of millions of
- 42:46Speaker 3: dollars to doing So that's Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly, there's
- 42:50Speaker 3: a few others like that. They just have to act
- 42:53Speaker 3: totally nuts, outrageous. They're trying to become the new Alex Jones.
- 42:58Speaker 3: You know, you would think Tucker would know better, but
- 43:01Speaker 3: apparently he would not know better than that. So now
- 43:09Speaker 3: here's Charlie Kirk was a different case. Now Here was
- 43:13Speaker 3: a guy who had a huge audience, didn't have to
- 43:17Speaker 3: do wacky things. He was preaching great stuff, and he
- 43:21Speaker 3: was preaching a lot of stuff you'd want somebody to
- 43:24Speaker 3: try to get across to younger people, you know, take
- 43:26Speaker 3: more interest in religion, go into church and read the Bible,
- 43:30Speaker 3: and I mean, this is all fine stuff. But the
- 43:33Speaker 3: left wing went after him like crazy. It led to
- 43:35Speaker 3: his assassination. He apparently had written a book before he died,
- 43:42Speaker 3: and his wife has now put out the book and
- 43:45Speaker 3: it's going around promoting it and it's riled up these
- 43:48Speaker 3: left wing nuts again. Here's a left wing podcaster, Jennifer Welch,
- 43:54Speaker 3: And there's Trump derangement syndrome. There's Hagsith derangement syndrome. There's
- 43:59Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk derangement syndrome.
- 44:02Speaker 4: Her.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Here's another one who went viral with this wacko stuff.
- 44:07Speaker 3: It's about Charlie Kirk screaming and wildly unhinged rants. He's
- 44:11Speaker 3: a racist, he's an opportunistic grifter. The wife is a grifter.
- 44:17Speaker 3: This woman should be kicked to the curb. She goes
- 44:20Speaker 3: just like Donald Trump, just like her unrepentant, racist, homophobic husband.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Is no truth to any of this. It's just lunacy.
- 44:30Speaker 3: You saw Letterman doing the same thing last night when
- 44:33Speaker 3: he was on Jimmy Kimmel. Listen, we got a lot
- 44:35Speaker 3: of people we don't like, we don't like Mom Donnie.
- 44:38Speaker 3: But I don't see anybody go nuts about him. It's
- 44:40Speaker 3: not derangement syndrome. And we just can't stand Mom Donnie.
- 44:44Speaker 3: But if you listen to people, they'll say, you know,
- 44:46Speaker 3: he's only thirty four, he's never even run anything, he's
- 44:48Speaker 3: never even had a job. Okay, well that's a legitimate argument.
- 44:51Speaker 3: And things he said are anti semitic. He's been quite
- 44:54Speaker 3: anti semitic in some of the things. Yeah, okay, that's
- 44:56Speaker 3: a good seems to be very pro criminal. Yeah that's true.
- 45:01Speaker 3: But we don't go on and on and on screaming
- 45:04Speaker 3: that he's a thief. There's no ranting and raving and not.
- 45:09Speaker 3: I don't know what it is. Psychologists have studied this.
- 45:12Speaker 3: It's and they say it's not just about Trump, it's
- 45:17Speaker 3: about other things in their life. They hate their father.
- 45:19Speaker 3: It's daddy syndrome. I mean, if there's all these explanations
- 45:21Speaker 3: you can read online from psychologists, they're seeing things in
- 45:25Speaker 3: Trump that set them off about other things in their life.
- 45:28Speaker 3: They just get it's they get childlike, childish. You know,
- 45:32Speaker 3: if you said, yeah, I really don't like that, mom, Donny,
- 45:35Speaker 3: I don't like anything he's saying. I don't like what
- 45:36Speaker 3: he stands. Okay, that's fine. But if you start ranting
- 45:40Speaker 3: and raving and screaming about it's just childish. And you
- 45:44Speaker 3: look at these people doing it about Trump, it's just
- 45:46Speaker 3: out of control. It's just childlike. It's you know, it's
- 45:51Speaker 3: been going on for ten years now, and ten years
- 45:53Speaker 3: ago we thought, well, all right, it'll get better. After
- 45:56Speaker 3: a few it's this has gotten worse and worse and worse.
- 46:00Speaker 3: It's never gonna stop. We're gonna have to live with
- 46:01Speaker 3: this disease for the rest of our life. Hey, Judge's
- 46:05Speaker 3: ordered the release of the Epstein case grand jury transcripts.
- 46:11Speaker 3: So this is the other thing with the left. They
- 46:13Speaker 3: always think they got Trump. They got him now on something.
- 46:16Speaker 3: This is a big deal. They've got him on this.
- 46:19Speaker 3: They're going to Judge is ruled the grand jury transcripts
- 46:22Speaker 3: from the Epstein case have to be released now. Again,
- 46:26Speaker 3: if you talk to people that have seen everything, they've
- 46:29Speaker 3: seen these grand jury things, they've seen the full Epstein files.
- 46:33Speaker 3: You talk to people in the US Attorney's office that
- 46:35Speaker 3: saw them. If you talk to even Alan Dershwitz, who
- 46:38Speaker 3: was the attorney for Epstein and or Yeah, he was
- 46:43Speaker 3: Epstein's attorney for a while, so he saw everything. People
- 46:46Speaker 3: have seen everything. Tell you there's absolutely nothing in any file,
- 46:50Speaker 3: in any grand jury transcript, there's nothing anywhere in any
- 46:54Speaker 3: of these documents that would tell you anything you haven't
- 46:57Speaker 3: heard already. All the names that are in there, you've
- 46:59Speaker 3: already heard. Oh, there might be one or two little names,
- 47:02Speaker 3: unknown people, but there's every major name that's in there.
- 47:05Speaker 3: You've already heard about it if you talk to them, Well,
- 47:08Speaker 3: what's in those Epstein faults. It's basically just witness transcripts
- 47:11Speaker 3: of witness interviews. Nothing to outrageous. But remember the same
- 47:18Speaker 3: thing with the MRI. They we're trying to get Trump's MRI.
- 47:21Speaker 3: The Left went nuts trying to get that MRI. Well
- 47:24Speaker 3: they finally got it, and the same thing, Eh, it
- 47:27Speaker 3: was nothing. There one thing I like about Christmas all
- 47:30Speaker 3: these artists you get to hear. You know, obviously you
- 47:34Speaker 3: can walk around in the world today and hear Taylor
- 47:36Speaker 3: Swift all the time and Dua Lipa, But how often
- 47:39Speaker 3: you get to hear Elvis nowadays? So every Christmas, if
- 47:44Speaker 3: you're in your teens or even in your twenties, every Christmas,
- 47:47Speaker 3: who the hell is this guy? And then it's your
- 47:49Speaker 3: only exposure to Elvis? And then I don't know, maybe
- 47:53Speaker 3: I would think a lot of them. If you get
- 47:54Speaker 3: interested in the guy, Oh, this guy's pretty interesting. They
- 47:56Speaker 3: start googling him, youtubing him and start to hear his
- 48:00Speaker 3: other hits. Like if you're twenty six, you're never in
- 48:02Speaker 3: your life heard of this guy bing Crosby. Who the
- 48:05Speaker 3: hell is this guy? And they have no idea that
- 48:08Speaker 3: from like nineteen thirty to nineteen fifty, this guy was
- 48:11Speaker 3: the single most famous singer in the world. This guy
- 48:15Speaker 3: was the biggest figure in entertainment for like twenty five
- 48:19Speaker 3: years before Sinatra took over. This guy was the voice
- 48:22Speaker 3: of America for decades. Looking back on it, well, you
- 48:27Speaker 3: admit you were nuts listening to this Still you still
- 48:29Speaker 3: so you hear all these people now, you would never
- 48:31Speaker 3: hear nobody would ever hear Andy Williams today if it
- 48:33Speaker 3: wasn't for Christmas or Perry Como. I love Perry Como
- 48:36Speaker 3: lived right there, right in Long Island, lived in Sand's Point.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Earth a Kit that's one of the biggest Christmas So
- 48:42Speaker 3: I love earth a Kitch. She was one of the
- 48:44Speaker 3: greatest singers I know.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Her daughter.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Her daughter has a kit Shapiro store in Westport, Connecticut.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Clothing store actually put out a perfume called Eartha if
- 48:54Speaker 3: you want a great perfume. And I hate to break
- 48:57Speaker 3: it to you, but there's a lot of kids today
- 49:00Speaker 3: who really wouldn't know who the hell Paul McCartney was
- 49:02Speaker 3: of another The Beatles broke up fifty five years ago.
- 49:06Speaker 3: I mean, there's a lot of wouldn't known, so one
- 49:09Speaker 3: great thing about Christmas. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next
- 49:11Speaker 3: eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten. Is
- 49:15Speaker 3: the number? Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Mister me Yors, Mark simoune wr.
- 49:28Speaker 4: Let's take some calls. Let's go to Jean in Florida. Jean,
- 49:32Speaker 4: how are you doing Florida?
- 49:33Speaker 11: Mark?
- 49:33Speaker 12: I love you down here and I love you in Connecticut.
- 49:35Speaker 4: Where are you in Florida?
- 49:37Speaker 12: A bureau beach?
- 49:38Speaker 3: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 49:40Speaker 12: The other day, President Trump took the time to honor
- 49:43Speaker 12: the Blessed Mother on the fifty the assumption it was beautiful.
- 49:47Speaker 12: He gave a beautiful speech. I have not read one
- 49:50Speaker 12: thing about that in the in the papers. And I'm
- 49:53Speaker 12: just wondering if you can comment why there's been no
- 49:56Speaker 12: coverage of when he honored the Blessed Mother last week.
- 50:00Speaker 3: Gotta be honest, doesn't sound like the most exciting story
- 50:03Speaker 3: in the world to yell about my mom dog. Hey,
- 50:08Speaker 3: you talk else, You got a lot of energy. You
- 50:11Speaker 3: talk very fast. You know, if you don't want to
- 50:12Speaker 3: be in Florida, you can't talk like that. You got
- 50:15Speaker 3: to learn how to talk slow, to talk in Florida.
- 50:18Speaker 3: You're not a year round resident.
- 50:19Speaker 5: I can tell no.
- 50:20Speaker 9: Six months.
- 50:21Speaker 3: Yeah, because you still got that Northeastern energy about you get. Yeah,
- 50:27Speaker 3: that's good. Don't don't end up like those Florida people
- 50:31Speaker 3: that end up talking slow and everything. Well, Jean, great call,
- 50:34Speaker 3: thanks for calling. Let's go. Let's go to Blouvelt, also
- 50:37Speaker 3: in Florida, Blouvelt.
- 50:38Speaker 4: How you doing.
- 50:40Speaker 11: Good morning, Mark Simone, how are you good?
- 50:43Speaker 3: Hey, everybody in Florida listens to us. Will you admit
- 50:45Speaker 3: that's because you missed New York? You al wish you
- 50:48Speaker 3: were back here?
- 50:48Speaker 11: Oh God, I missed from New York. So the first
- 50:52Speaker 11: thing I do when I land, Man, we'll go to
- 50:54Speaker 11: the Wordia. I go right to the city and right
- 50:56Speaker 11: down a Lombardi's on Spring Street. Yeah, that's my favorite.
- 51:00Speaker 11: That's my favorite joint down there. Hey, two things, and
- 51:03Speaker 11: I haven't heard too much about the first thing. When
- 51:05Speaker 11: I ask him out affinity Devin Night. He had this
- 51:08Speaker 11: story about the Omar how she had like she was
- 51:12Speaker 11: worth sixty five thousand dollars two years ago and now
- 51:15Speaker 11: she's worth ten million dollars.
- 51:17Speaker 4: God bless America.
- 51:19Speaker 11: Yes, God, bless America. And another question is how come
- 51:23Speaker 11: Donald never sits back in a chair. He always leans
- 51:26Speaker 11: forward and got his hands on his knees.
- 51:29Speaker 9: Uh.
- 51:29Speaker 3: That's just because he's like a lion. He's like a tiger.
- 51:31Speaker 3: He's like ready to pounce. He never sits back.
- 51:35Speaker 5: I like that.
- 51:36Speaker 3: No, it's real, it's really that's the reason he never
- 51:38Speaker 3: sits back. He's ready to spring up and go into
- 51:41Speaker 3: action at any moment. You can learn a lot watching
- 51:43Speaker 3: that guy about how to be here.
- 51:45Speaker 11: I do.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, thanks for calling. Let's go to uh
- 51:50Speaker 3: Joel also in Florida, Joel, how you doing.
- 51:53Speaker 13: Good morning, Mark, Yes, Joey, Florida. Okay, when I when
- 51:56Speaker 13: I was in college my undergraduate studies and take the
- 51:59Speaker 13: learning psycho sociology, Pressy used to tell us that many
- 52:03Speaker 13: people in their pre teens and teens used to look
- 52:06Speaker 13: at successful parents as being too authoritarian and they had
- 52:09Speaker 13: a resentment for that. Well, it seems that this is
- 52:12Speaker 13: what's causing the Trump's arrangement syndrome.
- 52:14Speaker 3: Well, yeah, actually a mother number of psychologists have come
- 52:17Speaker 3: on this show and have written that it's daddy issues,
- 52:20Speaker 3: exactly what you're saying. That's one reason they absolutely, Hey, Trump,
- 52:23Speaker 3: not everybody has these issues, and that's why not everybody's
- 52:26Speaker 3: liked that. Let's go to Hey Vincent and Brooklyn Vincent,
- 52:29Speaker 3: how you doing.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark Marco? Okay, good morning Mara Mark. I'm
- 52:33Speaker 2: gonna say this every time they get on the phone.
- 52:36Speaker 2: This so called unaffordability crisis is caused mainly by blue
- 52:41Speaker 2: state mayors and blue state governors. The previous call of
- 52:45Speaker 2: a young lady from Vero Beach, she got her Catholic
- 52:49Speaker 2: holidays mixed up. The Feast of the Assumption is August fifteenth,
- 52:54Speaker 2: and the other day was the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
- 52:57Speaker 2: That's December eighth, and in fact, in Italian we call
- 53:01Speaker 2: it la CONCHECIONI Okay, that being said, what's the next
- 53:06Speaker 2: thing these crazy democrats are gonna do? When you go
- 53:09Speaker 2: to the dealership, They're gonna and you go to buy
- 53:12Speaker 2: an Audi, a Porsche or a BMW. Whe are they
- 53:16Speaker 2: going to pass the lord to city council and says, hey, uh,
- 53:20Speaker 2: that person over there only could afford a Volkswagen Golf.
- 53:24Speaker 2: So we're gonna put a twenty five percent tax on
- 53:27Speaker 2: the on the sticker price of your your Porsche or
- 53:30Speaker 2: your Audi. So we're gonna put this money in a
- 53:33Speaker 2: pool so those people could buy better cars. And you
- 53:37Speaker 2: you're buying a filet mignon in the supermarket. No, while
- 53:41Speaker 2: your neighbor's buying hot dogs and job meat. You're gonna
- 53:44Speaker 2: have to pay a twenty five percent tax on it.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Where does this nonsense end? You live where you could afford,
- 53:52Speaker 2: You eat what you could afford, and if you can't
- 53:55Speaker 2: live in New York City, get the hell out. My
- 53:59Speaker 2: girlfriend had to say secretary of years ago that when
- 54:03Speaker 2: this woman got divorced from her husband, she had two kids,
- 54:06Speaker 2: she figured out between the alimony and the salary she
- 54:10Speaker 2: was making, she could no longer live in New York City.
- 54:14Speaker 2: She went someplace in Pennsylvania and is living a very
- 54:18Speaker 2: very good life normal.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Hey, a lot of people in New York City could
- 54:22Speaker 3: not afford to live in Monte Carlo.
- 54:23Speaker 2: I just, oh, well, you can't. A lot of people
- 54:26Speaker 2: can't afford to live on Park Avenue was some place,
- 54:29Speaker 2: so they go live someplace else. This is a bunch
- 54:33Speaker 2: of leftist democrat bs.
- 54:36Speaker 5: That's all.
- 54:37Speaker 3: That's a good point, Vincent, excellent call, Thanks for calling.
- 54:40Speaker 3: You know, we'll talk to and culture. Next up Bat,
- 54:42Speaker 3: I'll ask her about this. This is a good topic.
- 54:45Speaker 3: We'll get to an Culter next on seven to ten
- 54:47Speaker 3: wo R it's.
- 54:49Speaker 7: More on Mark the Mark, Simonia on wr.
- 54:54Speaker 3: Well and Culter, the best selling author. You know, she's
- 54:57Speaker 3: got a lot of best selling books. You know, book
- 54:59Speaker 3: is a great Christmas presents. You might you're looking for
- 55:02Speaker 3: Christmas presents, get one of her books for somebody. Also,
- 55:05Speaker 3: of course follow her on Twitter and substack. Even better,
- 55:08Speaker 3: she's got interviews and videos and podcasts, all sorts of
- 55:11Speaker 3: stuff on substack. You go to and Culter dot substack
- 55:16Speaker 3: dot com and Culter.
- 55:17Speaker 9: How you doing fantastic? How are you Mark alone?
- 55:21Speaker 3: Well, I'm good, I'm good. I love the Christmas season.
- 55:25Speaker 3: It seems to make the left wing cooks even more miserable.
- 55:28Speaker 4: I enjoy that.
- 55:32Speaker 9: I love it too. You remind me we have to
- 55:34Speaker 9: go see the tree in Rockefeller Center.
- 55:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna walk by it every year. I walked by.
- 55:38Speaker 3: I'll walk by it later today. So, uh, this whole
- 55:43Speaker 3: thing about affordable housing, you know what they said, we
- 55:45Speaker 3: don't have affordable housing. Well you really not gonna ever
- 55:48Speaker 3: have any. On Park Avenue and there's certain areas that
- 55:50Speaker 3: are gonna be expensive and other areas well, where did
- 55:54Speaker 3: this thing come? Everywhere in the world has to be affordable.
- 56:01Speaker 9: Well, rents are very high in New York. I'm glad
- 56:03Speaker 9: you mentioned afflordability. What what what causes unts rents and
- 56:09Speaker 9: purchase prices to be so high in New York? As
- 56:12Speaker 9: as anyone in econ one oh one class will take impact,
- 56:16Speaker 9: you don't even have to take econ one o one
- 56:18Speaker 9: on my financial illiterate reduce the supply of something, Prices
- 56:22Speaker 9: go up. Rent control every place in the universe, it's
- 56:26Speaker 9: ever been tried. They could try it on Mars. Suddenly
- 56:29Speaker 9: you'll have massively unaffordable housing. And oh my gosh, we
- 56:32Speaker 9: need the government to build affordable housing. Just just let
- 56:36Speaker 9: the market cut loose. Developers build more stuff that I
- 56:39Speaker 9: obviously want to build a quote affordable, that is to say,
- 56:44Speaker 9: less expensive housing. You know, Sam Walton has done pretty
- 56:48Speaker 9: well by providing affordable products to people. It's not like
- 56:53Speaker 9: in the market people are only going to build fabulous
- 56:56Speaker 9: places on Fifth Avenue. No, quite to the contrary, But
- 56:59Speaker 9: they don't build those now because they'll be subject to
- 57:02Speaker 9: rent control. And as you and probably your listeners. So
- 57:05Speaker 9: a lot of landlords in New York have been forced
- 57:07Speaker 9: to just walk away from apartments because their fees, their taxes,
- 57:13Speaker 9: their costs of repairs are higher than what they're being
- 57:17Speaker 9: paid in rent. So what are they supposed to do,
- 57:20Speaker 9: you know, carry these people for the rest of their lives. No,
- 57:23Speaker 9: you just need the market. And of course one other issue,
- 57:26Speaker 9: there is no there's no problem under the sun that
- 57:29Speaker 9: has not helped by mass deportation of illegals.
- 57:33Speaker 4: Well, you know, I believe or not.
- 57:34Speaker 3: In the Hamptons, in East Hampton, there was a movement
- 57:37Speaker 3: because in East Hampton they didn't have low income housing,
- 57:39Speaker 3: affordable movement to get some and the whole town rose
- 57:42Speaker 3: up and said, it's the hamp that's not supposed to
- 57:44Speaker 3: be any affordable housing that's in the next time that
- 57:47Speaker 3: very funny.
- 57:50Speaker 9: Yeah, No, the affordable housing has to go in the poor,
- 57:53Speaker 9: middle class neighborhood. Let's screw those people.
- 57:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but all your life, you know, your parents are driving.
- 57:58Speaker 3: You see, you're in the car, you're driving the look
- 58:00Speaker 3: at these mansions. What a beautiful thing. You keep driving
- 58:02Speaker 3: and driving. Next thing you know, you're in a really
- 58:03Speaker 3: bad neighborhood. That's that's always been that way. You can't
- 58:07Speaker 3: equalize everything, can you.
- 58:10Speaker 9: No, that's a really good point. Actually, one of the
- 58:12Speaker 9: one of the wonderful things Trump did. What was the
- 58:16Speaker 9: name of it. There was this insane program under Obama
- 58:21Speaker 9: and Biden. Oh, it's on the tip of my tongue.
- 58:25Speaker 9: I can't think of it. But anyway, it was basically
- 58:28Speaker 9: doing exactly the madness you're describing. If someone couldn't afford
- 58:33Speaker 9: a family, couldn't afford to live, you know, in a
- 58:35Speaker 9: more expensive neighborhood Fringde Connecticut or like you say, the
- 58:40Speaker 9: Hampton Park Avenue, under law, we had to subsidize them
- 58:47Speaker 9: to allow them to live in homes where they couldn't
- 58:50Speaker 9: afford the neighborhood, which is crazy. That's you can they
- 58:57Speaker 9: can find housing. They can find plenty of housing. Housing
- 59:00Speaker 9: in neighborhoods they can they can afford. It's just like
- 59:03Speaker 9: you know, affirmative action at colleges. No, you can get
- 59:05Speaker 9: into a college, uh and have roughly the same SATs
- 59:09Speaker 9: as everyone you're competing against. But no, we're going to
- 59:12Speaker 9: elevate you to a college that's going to make you
- 59:14Speaker 9: feel stupid for the rest of your life.
- 59:16Speaker 3: Yeah, but these crazy left wing Democrats, you know, the
- 59:22Speaker 3: double standards unbelievable. Remember they dropped those illegals in Nantucket.
- 59:28Speaker 9: Martha's thinking about that.
- 59:30Speaker 3: They got rounded up and taken out of there so
- 59:34Speaker 3: fast that I didn't see any due process there.
- 59:36Speaker 5: Did you?
- 59:37Speaker 4: Did you see any hearings before they got carried out
- 59:39Speaker 4: of there? No?
- 59:40Speaker 9: I was thinking about it because, and by the way,
- 59:44Speaker 9: I salute you, I've been so trying to ignore this.
- 59:47Speaker 9: You know, Venezuelan narco traffickers, whom Democrats are wildly in
- 59:52Speaker 9: favor of it. It's the new pet seal on the left.
- 59:55Speaker 9: But I was thinking a test should round them all
- 59:58Speaker 9: up and send them to.
- 59:59Speaker 4: Martha's viney, Yeah, that would you know? You're right?
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Actually, in that little harbor, I'd love to see those
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: Narcos speedboats coming in at one hundred and eighty miles
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: an hour.
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: It's right, just move them in both, build be affordable
- 1:00:13Speaker 9: housing up there and put the Narco terrorists there.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: But how if you're NBC News, if you're the New
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: York Times, and the boat clearly has four outboard super
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: high speed outboard motors that cost almost two hundred thousand
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: dollars and it's going one hundred and eighty miles an
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: hour through the water in the middle of the night.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: How could you claim that's a fishing boat.
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: How could they claim that Tucky Williams was, you know,
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: a hard working student. Frame for killing a cop or
- 1:00:46Speaker 9: Mumia Abu Jamal. This is their nature. You find a
- 1:00:51Speaker 9: predator on society and oh my gosh, we must start
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: a fundraiser for that person. I think they've moved on
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: from the fishermen. Well, this is what I'm writing about
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: this week. They have a scrolling series of preposterous arguments
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: in defense of narco terrists, whom I'll give you one
- 1:01:10Speaker 9: one little highlight. Last year was the last year we
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: have we have figures four cocaine, which is absolutely one
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: hundred percent being shipped. It goes from from Colombia to Venezuela.
- 1:01:23Speaker 9: Venezuela sends it to Mexico and then it comes Mexicans
- 1:01:27Speaker 9: truck it up to the United States. Back before the
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: media felt like it had to lie about this, this
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: was written about about once a year in the New
- 1:01:34Speaker 9: York Times. This will all be covered in the column
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: going up later today, But in any event, twenty twenty three,
- 1:01:40Speaker 9: thirty thousand Americans died of overdoses from cocaine. Nine to eleven,
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: three thousand Americans died, and we went to war in
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: two countries for twenty years. But thirty thousand Americans, Oh, no,
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: we can't do anything in our hemisphere. You have to
- 1:01:57Speaker 9: go seven thousand miles away. Then we don't mind for innocence.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: Well, you know, for years they tried to think of
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: what to do about these cartel smuggling drugs, and we
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: maybe set up a commission to talk to Mexico. And
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: then I like the Trump approach to watch a bomb
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: just hit the boat and blow it right out of
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: the water.
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: I mean, besides the joy of blowing up drug dealers,
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: you're absolutely right through through Republican administrations, Democratic administrations. US
- 1:02:24Speaker 9: attorneys keep indicting. I mean all of all of Venezuela.
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: The only the only product they have is drugs, shipping drugs.
- 1:02:32Speaker 9: They're sitting on the largest reserve of oil in the world.
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: They can't get it out of the ground. Socialism works great.
- 1:02:38Speaker 9: So the entire country, right up to about the government,
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: the military, law enforcement, it is a drug cartel. This
- 1:02:45Speaker 9: is a country that is a drug cartel. So Obama Trump,
- 1:02:48Speaker 9: they've all indicted Maduro, the head of intelligence. The indictment
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: they indict them, they accuse them of shipping cocaine to
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: the United States. Yes, your precious little Obama did this
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: New York Times. And then you know, maybe we'll get
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: an extradition. A couple of them have finally been caught
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: and gone to prison, and then some other somebody else
- 1:03:09Speaker 9: becomes a head of intelligence event in Venezuela. Indicting people
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: in Abstentia is not working. What Trump is doing is working.
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: Therefore liberals are going nuts.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so hey, also a Democrats, boy, they love Tariff's Democrats.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: You know, they call it a corporate tax, but it's
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: a tiff that teriffing business is left and right, which
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: any time you put a tax on a corporation, that
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: raises the prices.
- 1:03:33Speaker 9: So uh, that's a good point. I don't mind that.
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: You're right.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: So hey, we just about at a time if somebody
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: wanted to give a Christmas present, what book of Years
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: would you recommend?
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: Because that's a good Oh, that's a good question.
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: Book is a great Christmas all my children?
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: You know, the last book Resistance is futile it is.
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: It is exactly what's happening right now. Liberals just have
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: lost their minds with with Trump. The point of the
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: book is because because they hate Trump so much, they
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: can't make they can't make serious, solid arguments, and they
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: just keep helping him with their with their lunatic hysterian
- 1:04:10Speaker 9: I go through several examples of that. So that's a
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: great one. And Trump we trust also great now that
- 1:04:16Speaker 9: he's being the man I wrote the book about.
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: Which okay, good drive here, approve.
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: Adios America of course, which which set off the phenomenon
- 1:04:26Speaker 9: that is the Trump.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Yeah, so we recommend this for a lot of authors.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: You could go to a store, a lot of stores
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: look for to get people books. It's a great gift.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: It's nobody can complain. It's a it's a very important thing.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: A books.
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: So uh go to and culture on Amazon you can
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: get a book as a gift. And of course follower
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: on Twitter and substack it's and culter dot substack dot
