- 0:07Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and we've got a very special episode for you.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Some of you may remember the eighties classic horror movie
- 0:19Speaker 2: Farmhouse Four, and some more of you may remember the
- 0:24Speaker 2: trouble that they ran into on set.
- 0:27Speaker 3: We gathered here together the cast and crew of Farmhouse
- 0:30Speaker 3: Four a couple bunch of years later, to talk healing
- 0:37Speaker 3: process and life since the movie.
- 0:40Speaker 4: So remember where you were in the eighties and grab
- 0:45Speaker 4: your friends, grab your pitchforks, and let's listen in.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Wow, wow, wow, wow.
- 1:01Speaker 6: It is so great to see all of you guys again.
- 1:03Speaker 7: This is crazy.
- 1:05Speaker 4: As I live and breathe, as I live and breathe,
- 1:08Speaker 4: we're all back together again.
- 1:09Speaker 5: It's really nice to be here and.
- 1:12Speaker 7: In Los Angeles, in LA, of all places, of all places.
- 1:19Speaker 2: What are the odds? What are the odds of such
- 1:21Speaker 2: a thing?
- 1:22Speaker 8: You find this so adorable that we're all together like this.
- 1:26Speaker 5: Y'all ever been to LA before before we came out
- 1:29Speaker 5: here for this?
- 1:30Speaker 7: Oh yeah, a couple of years. Yeah, there's like two
- 1:34Speaker 7: years in my twenties where I was brought here sort
- 1:38Speaker 7: of involuntarily, and that it's nice. I choose to be here.
- 1:41Speaker 5: What did you do? What was your favorite stuff to
- 1:42Speaker 5: do out here?
- 1:43Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh, Well, I was living in a big
- 1:46Speaker 7: house with a bunch of friends, and we all like
- 1:50Speaker 7: sort of wore white all the time and eat vegetarians,
- 1:54Speaker 7: just sort of like chanted. So I guess just like
- 1:57Speaker 7: all of that. But so living with friends, Yeah, just
- 2:00Speaker 7: a bunch of friends and then our one guy and you.
- 2:03Speaker 2: So you were in the So one guy was like
- 2:06Speaker 2: of more importance than the rest of the friends, I'm guessing.
- 2:08Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean he just sort of like had a
- 2:10Speaker 7: lot of really interesting stuff to say about, like the
- 2:12Speaker 7: Bible and anyway. It's so nice to see you guys.
- 2:15Speaker 9: It's I've been here as well.
- 2:19Speaker 10: My uncle took me to Catalina Island when I was
- 2:21Speaker 10: in tenth grade.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Oh did he have a lot of importance to say?
- 2:28Speaker 9: Not so much.
- 2:29Speaker 10: We just kind of he kept telling me about how
- 2:31Speaker 10: the Wrigleys owned it and you know, the Cubs and
- 2:33Speaker 10: all that stuff. So it was really kind of, you know.
- 2:37Speaker 9: It was fun.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Is that a memory you look back on a lot?
- 2:41Speaker 10: Yeah, more than I more than I'm I'm shocked at
- 2:43Speaker 10: how much I do look back on it, totally honest.
- 2:46Speaker 7: Yeah, because it seems sort of normal.
- 2:49Speaker 10: Yeah, is Yeah, A lot of kids did a lot
- 2:51Speaker 10: of stuff that summer, and I also I did other
- 2:54Speaker 10: things after.
- 2:54Speaker 4: That summer, too, True, a lot of kids did do
- 2:59Speaker 4: It's something you don't think about. How many kids are
- 3:01Speaker 4: doing how many things every summer, especially.
- 3:05Speaker 8: This summer of tenth grade.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, it's an epidemic. It really is. And
- 3:11Speaker 2: I am part of a charity that really tries to
- 3:14Speaker 2: crack down on that kind of stuff.
- 3:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Yes, to be honest, it's out of control. The things
- 3:20Speaker 2: that they're doing. They're hanging out with each other, they're
- 3:22Speaker 2: going to the mall, they're going to movies, and I
- 3:25Speaker 2: frankly find it disgusting and it needs to their safety.
- 3:29Speaker 7: You're not you're not You're not involved with movies anymore.
- 3:32Speaker 7: You're just focused on that charity, Is that right?
- 3:35Speaker 4: No?
- 3:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I quit the film industry because I felt like
- 3:38Speaker 2: I was expending myself too much. And of course I
- 3:42Speaker 2: guess I should say the name of my well, you
- 3:45Speaker 2: know what, Well, I'll just start the introduction.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Let's go, let's go around.
- 3:50Speaker 2: My name is Jemma Guitar. I am from Colorado and.
- 3:55Speaker 11: I started as the young hot female lead in Farmhouse
- 4:02Speaker 11: uh one, two, three, and four, after which time the
- 4:07Speaker 11: fame got to be a lot and I started noticing
- 4:10Speaker 11: people were expending themselves too much.
- 4:12Speaker 2: They were they were they were doing too much. They
- 4:14Speaker 2: were expending all this energy. And so that's what inspired me,
- 4:18Speaker 2: uh after I could show business to create uh Lazy
- 4:22Speaker 2: Couch Potatoes, the the the nonprofit the four of the
- 4:27Speaker 2: five oh one seat.
- 4:28Speaker 7: Wow, that's one hundred more.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Well that's one hundred war. Yeah, it's that's.
- 4:36Speaker 2: A designation by the federal government that that means ultra
- 4:40Speaker 2: charity and asking it kind of for no one's benefit
- 4:43Speaker 2: and saws for everyone's benefit. A five o one see
- 4:46Speaker 2: is technically to benefit no one, although we are pushing
- 4:49Speaker 2: back on that.
- 4:50Speaker 1: At maxed out, max out and really fun just because
- 4:53Speaker 1: we're talking about the movie. I. I thought it was
- 4:55Speaker 1: so fun and interesting that even though you starred in
- 4:58Speaker 1: four of the movies we made for we never actually
- 5:01Speaker 1: gave you a name.
- 5:02Speaker 6: You were always young, hot female lead.
- 5:05Speaker 2: No, and frankly, they didn't believe that I needed a name,
- 5:09Speaker 2: which I pushed back on, but you know, it's just
- 5:12Speaker 2: not important.
- 5:13Speaker 8: I still believe you didn't need one.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I noticed you did call me Janelle. My name is Jemma,
- 5:20Speaker 2: my bad So we're all still learning and uh, you know,
- 5:25Speaker 2: uh it definitely trickled past just the screen. I felt that, uh,
- 5:30Speaker 2: nobody knew my name. They spelled it differently on the
- 5:33Speaker 2: call sheet every single time.
- 5:36Speaker 7: You know, that was a decision by Dan, who is
- 5:39Speaker 7: you know, not really here to defend himself.
- 5:41Speaker 4: So no, I'm not here to defend myself. I'm not
- 5:44Speaker 4: I'm not here to defend myself. I'm here to have
- 5:46Speaker 4: a good thing because us.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Before we start this podcast, Dan said, I just want
- 5:51Speaker 1: you guys to know I'm not here to defend myself
- 5:53Speaker 1: a lot, so.
- 5:56Speaker 10: We can't talk to you Because Dan, I was going
- 5:58Speaker 10: to play it up the whole time that you weren't here.
- 5:59Speaker 9: But this is okay.
- 6:00Speaker 4: You guys can talk about me. I am being Dan
- 6:02Speaker 4: on this. Oh yeah, so okay. Yeah. I Sometimes I
- 6:06Speaker 4: have gone into press junkins before and I would say,
- 6:09Speaker 4: Dan is actually not here, you can talk to me.
- 6:11Speaker 4: My name is little Cody, and sometimes I would pretend
- 6:14Speaker 4: to be him in press junk kids, and but today
- 6:16Speaker 4: I've decided it is well, it's it's a checkmate because
- 6:20Speaker 4: you can't really talk to me because Dan isn't here.
- 6:23Speaker 2: But yeah, it's it's it's uh, it's Jeff Dunham rules,
- 6:28Speaker 2: you're not being racist.
- 6:29Speaker 5: It's the doll exactly. Yeah.
- 6:31Speaker 4: And and little Cody, Uh, I have come under some
- 6:35Speaker 4: fire praise character, but he's not here today.
- 6:38Speaker 1: So is one of the most ignorant little children I've
- 6:42Speaker 1: ever met. He has not been taught anything about, you know,
- 6:47Speaker 1: relationships and what.
- 6:49Speaker 7: You can such as ignorant of like what's socially inappropriate.
- 6:53Speaker 7: But he doesn't know how to hold a pencil, what losses.
- 6:57Speaker 5: Yeah, he's like characteristically stupid.
- 6:59Speaker 4: So it's hard to interview him in press jun kids,
- 7:01Speaker 4: especially when you're supposed to be talking to Dan Dallas,
- 7:03Speaker 4: which is who I am and I am.
- 7:05Speaker 10: Then you initially you initially model deck character off of
- 7:09Speaker 10: Egleized Cody.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Correct, I did Eagleized Cody, who was the man who's
- 7:14Speaker 4: uh did the one tier in in the in the
- 7:17Speaker 4: the commercials, the.
- 7:19Speaker 7: Trash Cody is the brother of ironized Cody, a white
- 7:22Speaker 7: guy who is pretending to be dative American.
- 7:25Speaker 10: Did I say egleized Cody?
- 7:27Speaker 7: You did?
- 7:29Speaker 1: That?
- 7:29Speaker 8: Wasn't That was a fun little moment?
- 7:33Speaker 3: See this is what's so fun about getting back together
- 7:35Speaker 3: and just laughing.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And here forgetting about the tragedy, forgetting about it's nice.
- 7:41Speaker 4: And I won't be talking about the tragedies either. But
- 7:43Speaker 4: I am Dan Dallas. I am the director of farm
- 7:48Speaker 4: House four and Farmhouse one pre production, and uh so
- 7:54Speaker 4: it's really great to see everybody again. I was just super, super,
- 7:59Speaker 4: super passionate about the project.
- 8:01Speaker 8: And I love when a director owns pre pro.
- 8:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Yeah, well you could just you could tell when you
- 8:07Speaker 4: watch the movie that my hands were all over pre pro,
- 8:09Speaker 4: you know what I mean.
- 8:10Speaker 7: You can just tell I guess the locations exactly.
- 8:14Speaker 5: The locations was beautiful, exactly.
- 8:16Speaker 8: I could tell what scout, what locations were cut.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Yeah, And you could tell the chemistry of the crews
- 8:23Speaker 4: because that's what I put together. You know, you can
- 8:25Speaker 4: tell the chemistry between the gaffer and the camera crew
- 8:28Speaker 4: and the and and of course the sound crew. You
- 8:30Speaker 4: can just feel that chemistry. I love catching the chemistry
- 8:33Speaker 4: of a crew and you watch a movie.
- 8:35Speaker 7: Oh yeah. And one of the things that really attracted
- 8:38Speaker 7: me to the series because I joined the three was
- 8:40Speaker 7: just sort of like there was always a pinball machine
- 8:44Speaker 7: in like every shot.
- 8:46Speaker 5: So that's an easter egg, and not a lot of
- 8:48Speaker 5: people know this.
- 8:49Speaker 4: I always had a pinball machine in most of the shots,
- 8:51Speaker 4: and the easter egg is it's a pinball Machine's very
- 8:54Speaker 4: important to me because I like them.
- 8:56Speaker 5: So it was really it was.
- 8:59Speaker 6: It's more of like a.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Goose egg or a dinosaur egg, because it's very obvious.
- 9:03Speaker 2: You didn't try and hide them whatsoever. The fin pinball
- 9:06Speaker 2: machines usually take up a third of the shot.
- 9:08Speaker 1: The craziest one was right on the dock. There was
- 9:10Speaker 1: a dock right into a lake and a pinball machine.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Right at the end of that is.
- 9:13Speaker 3: A desolate dock in one biggest pinball and it was
- 9:18Speaker 3: lit up.
- 9:18Speaker 5: It was Yeah, of course it was the baywash machine.
- 9:21Speaker 8: But it was a blackout throughout the whole town.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Yeah, no electricity.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Yeah. The bad guy who we called the bad Guy,
- 9:30Speaker 4: I love that character who played is the actor who
- 9:33Speaker 4: played the bad guy? Here? I am here, Hi, I
- 9:37Speaker 4: don't recognize you without all that face paint.
- 9:39Speaker 6: So yeah, so my name is John so much damn ice.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Well, they painted in my face the deepest shade of blue.
- 9:47Speaker 1: They just and in order to get that blue, you
- 9:49Speaker 1: have to layer it about y'all.
- 9:51Speaker 8: This was way before the Blue Man Group, even.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Before Avatar.
- 10:00Speaker 1: After we got a lot of flak for smurf Face.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It just didn't go overwhell. People didn't love it, but
- 10:09Speaker 1: they kept it going. I So, I played the bad guy.
- 10:12Speaker 1: My name is John Dugree. I played the bad guy
- 10:15Speaker 1: for the four movies.
- 10:16Speaker 6: And I was you.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Were one of the nineteen kids in counting right.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I was one of the kids nineteen Duggerree. We have
- 10:23Speaker 1: a very similar that they're the Duggers and I'm the Duggaries.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But I I did meet them and they're so fun
- 10:32Speaker 1: and so nice. No, no, I was the bad guy.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I also was one of the main leading suspects for
- 10:41Speaker 1: the murders that partook during the filming of Farmhouse for.
- 10:47Speaker 6: So, but we don't need to talk about that.
- 10:49Speaker 1: We don't.
- 10:49Speaker 5: We don't need to.
- 10:50Speaker 4: We don't need to discuss that, and and and you
- 10:52Speaker 4: know it's only recently that they started calling them murders
- 10:55Speaker 4: even so we don't.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Even need to discuss it.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, And it's only recently that I have
- 10:59Speaker 6: been a suspect.
- 11:00Speaker 2: So there, and when we say it was only recently
- 11:05Speaker 2: that they discovered the depth before we kept referring to
- 11:10Speaker 2: it as this inflatable snowman that fell apart, when in
- 11:15Speaker 2: fact it was a human being.
- 11:17Speaker 8: Unfortunately.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and I just want to be very clear when
- 11:19Speaker 3: we say we won't talk about that, it's because we
- 11:22Speaker 3: legally can't because it's an ongoing investigation.
- 11:25Speaker 8: It's a still it is now legally a cold case.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Right, and they're getting colder by the day, just because
- 11:31Speaker 4: there's so many more that are popping up to there's
- 11:34Speaker 4: the snowman and then there's a couple of the other ones.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Yea, the case gets so cold that eventually it becomes
- 11:41Speaker 2: an iced overcase and they got to reopen it.
- 11:43Speaker 5: That's what snowfall.
- 11:46Speaker 7: And it also doesn't help that the podcast that they're
- 11:49Speaker 7: doing about it, which is like this isn't like an
- 11:52Speaker 7: answered podcast, but it's just sort of you know.
- 11:54Speaker 3: But thank you for bringing that up, because I do
- 11:56Speaker 3: want to address that. I think we should address that
- 11:58Speaker 3: as a team, because I believe that all of us
- 12:00Speaker 3: been asked to go on that podcast, and all of
- 12:01Speaker 3: us had declined, all of us, Gemma, yep, Jemma, yeah, okay.
- 12:08Speaker 8: All of us.
- 12:09Speaker 2: You know, I haven't given them an answer yet, but
- 12:12Speaker 2: I okay, Okay, I understand everyone's concerns.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Well, maybe this episode we can you can figure them out.
- 12:17Speaker 10: I'm curious if how you how how y'all would feel
- 12:20Speaker 10: if you found out maybe one of us was gonna
- 12:22Speaker 10: work crew for the Dateline crew that's going to go
- 12:24Speaker 10: out there and do an expose on the murders.
- 12:27Speaker 6: What are you up to, Carol?
- 12:32Speaker 3: Carol doesn't, Carol, Dateline doesn't need a boom. They do
- 12:35Speaker 3: sound on top.
- 12:36Speaker 5: Of it, Carol, they don't. This is there there? What
- 12:40Speaker 5: would you do?
- 12:41Speaker 2: You?
- 12:41Speaker 5: You gotta be careful, is John?
- 12:44Speaker 10: I gotta tell you washing the stink of farmhouse off.
- 12:46Speaker 10: He has been really tough. So I'm trying to pick
- 12:49Speaker 10: up gigs wherever I can.
- 12:50Speaker 5: And I would hate it.
- 12:52Speaker 10: I would hate it if that's what this movie was
- 12:54Speaker 10: known for, because Dan, I've worked with a lot of
- 12:56Speaker 10: directors and you're the only one who shoots absolutely every
- 13:00Speaker 10: thing that's in the script, even the pages. You shoot
- 13:03Speaker 10: those up and John exactly. Gosh, I wish you could
- 13:05Speaker 10: have seen John. You know, we were in a mad
- 13:07Speaker 10: scramble for that blue paint. Most of it was tree
- 13:09Speaker 10: sat Yeah.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm definitely definitely allergic to oak. So every day.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It was wondering if I was gonna die.
- 13:16Speaker 3: And that smelled like a cat's for Johanna, my god.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Just like but it was so it was so difficult,
- 13:24Speaker 4: John because the allergic reaction you had to the tree
- 13:27Speaker 4: sat made you look so scary.
- 13:28Speaker 5: So it was it was hard to say no to it,
- 13:30Speaker 5: you know what I mean.
- 13:31Speaker 6: It might have it might have driven me insane at
- 13:33Speaker 6: some point.
- 13:36Speaker 7: Well that's not you know, that's not something that your
- 13:38Speaker 7: lawyer will let us get into.
- 13:40Speaker 4: So all and Carol, Carol, I did just want to
- 13:43Speaker 4: come back to you a little bit. I know that,
- 13:45Speaker 4: you know, as our boom op for the show or
- 13:48Speaker 4: for the movie, you are a little bit under fire
- 13:51Speaker 4: because you did have a knife on the end of
- 13:54Speaker 4: your boom and and uh that did cause some problems.
- 13:57Speaker 5: And we do have tape of that.
- 13:59Speaker 10: Well, I you know, that was a split second decision.
- 14:02Speaker 10: When you're filming in the woods, sometimes branches and whatnot
- 14:04Speaker 10: will get in your way. So we just we just
- 14:06Speaker 10: did it on the fly. We improvised, you know, so
- 14:09Speaker 10: we threw that knife up there to try to cut
- 14:10Speaker 10: branches and whatnot.
- 14:11Speaker 6: Down like a long machete.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:13Speaker 3: I love the Carol Carol, I know you probably want
- 14:17Speaker 3: to work with lesser halt, but do not do that
- 14:19Speaker 3: dayline gig.
- 14:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 9: Look, if something better comes up.
- 14:23Speaker 10: I I this Law and Order Toronto things picking up
- 14:25Speaker 10: a lot of heat, so I might be flying up
- 14:27Speaker 10: to the Great White North to do that.
- 14:28Speaker 5: But Order Toronto.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Wait have you seen those scrips. I've been really dying
- 14:32Speaker 4: to know what they do in Law Order Toronto.
- 14:34Speaker 9: They haven't written any yet.
- 14:36Speaker 10: Oh oh wow, No, they just cast it and got locations.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Carol, tell us, where what have you been up to lately?
- 14:41Speaker 3: It sounds like you've been trying to find work.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 10: I got a lot of people approached me about books,
- 14:46Speaker 10: and you know, hey, you were that guy with a
- 14:49Speaker 10: knife on the end of the boom mic right my college.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:54Speaker 2: And I just want to say, Carol, that I forgive
- 14:56Speaker 2: you for slashing one of my major arteries in filmmak.
- 15:00Speaker 5: That's nice.
- 15:00Speaker 9: You took it like a cham.
- 15:02Speaker 8: Well you're skinny. Skinny girls don't need all those arteries.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Right, And I remember you saying that quite frequently as
- 15:11Speaker 2: I was bleeding out. And to be honest, I don't
- 15:14Speaker 2: appreciate that because my doctor hard disagrees on that, Jimmy.
- 15:19Speaker 10: I don't know if you know this or not, but
- 15:20Speaker 10: you were talking about your name earlier. And this is
- 15:23Speaker 10: such a funny story because you we all took notice
- 15:26Speaker 10: that you were asking for a name, and when you
- 15:27Speaker 10: weren't around, the talk around the whole set was if
- 15:30Speaker 10: she doesn't stop asking for.
- 15:31Speaker 9: A name, she's gonna get her ass fired. She kicked
- 15:34Speaker 9: out of here so fast.
- 15:35Speaker 7: Was someone who was mostly starting that time.
- 15:37Speaker 4: I was mostly saying that, and then it was funny.
- 15:40Speaker 4: It was my favorite joke I used to say on set.
- 15:43Speaker 4: I said, Carol needs to shut the Geminy's to shut
- 15:45Speaker 4: the fuck up about getting the name, or she's gonna
- 15:47Speaker 4: get a new name. It's the name on a ticket
- 15:50Speaker 4: plane ticket on the way home.
- 15:52Speaker 7: And I was conolluted, Dan.
- 15:55Speaker 5: Dan, can we Dan?
- 15:56Speaker 6: Can we?
- 15:57Speaker 2: Can we cut the fucking ship? Dan? I threw so
- 16:02Speaker 2: much in this movie, the body parts that you you
- 16:05Speaker 2: amputated all of my body parts twice in this movie.
- 16:09Speaker 2: The only thing that retained intact in the stage directions
- 16:13Speaker 2: was my tits. The only part of my body throughout
- 16:15Speaker 2: this franchise that was not harmed was my tits.
- 16:18Speaker 8: Because those don't have arteries.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Yeah, also, sorry, just the tagline, right. The only thing
- 16:28Speaker 1: not not cut off is their tits.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Jim, I'm sorry. I wanted you to work again.
- 16:33Speaker 4: I'm sorry that people saw your tits getting cut off
- 16:37Speaker 4: on screen.
- 16:38Speaker 6: They never hire you back.
- 16:40Speaker 5: That's the death now for people.
- 16:41Speaker 1: In the end, it's getting a little Let's keep let's
- 16:43Speaker 1: keep introducing people.
- 16:44Speaker 5: Let's just say you know, all right, hi y'all.
- 16:46Speaker 8: I'm Chapel Scott.
- 16:48Speaker 3: I worked on all of the all of the farmhouses one, two, three, four,
- 16:55Speaker 3: and I did the mobile game two.
- 16:56Speaker 8: Not everyone did the mobile game here.
- 17:00Speaker 7: I don't understand what that is.
- 17:01Speaker 8: I did the mobile game for it, Lived and Died,
- 17:04Speaker 8: Lived and Died.
- 17:05Speaker 3: And I worked on Farmhouse because I was on set
- 17:10Speaker 3: back in the day, because I'm the voice of the scary, scary,
- 17:15Speaker 3: ugly demon cow in Farmhouse. And I did all that
- 17:23Speaker 3: work on set because we didn't have a d R
- 17:24Speaker 3: studios back in the day, so.
- 17:26Speaker 8: I was on set every damn day.
- 17:29Speaker 2: So you lived live ad R as live was getting
- 17:33Speaker 2: the static shots of the cow. You were offscreen with
- 17:37Speaker 2: a microphone.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Yes, or sometimes I'd be on Carol's shoulders and we'd
- 17:41Speaker 3: go into the bushes and I'd be on top of Carol,
- 17:44Speaker 3: and we would and and I'd be screaming bloody murder
- 17:47Speaker 3: on top of car So.
- 17:48Speaker 10: Those days in the call sheets and I was like.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Oh.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Oh, it was absolutely like I would have nightmares about
- 18:00Speaker 1: the noises that you would make for that cow.
- 18:02Speaker 6: It was oh yeah, and you can how yeah.
- 18:05Speaker 8: It was crazy.
- 18:06Speaker 6: Though.
- 18:06Speaker 3: When I started, I think it was a Farmhouse three
- 18:09Speaker 3: to four. I started getting real dialogue, which was really wild.
- 18:12Speaker 3: They started making me say, Lack, the bushes are five
- 18:18Speaker 3: and the gods are blood.
- 18:22Speaker 7: And I've got to say, I'm not afraid to say it.
- 18:25Speaker 7: I think Lars von Trier absolutely ripped off Farmhouse three.
- 18:28Speaker 9: I think so, oh, no doubt.
- 18:31Speaker 7: I think we four Horror twenty five years before that
- 18:35Speaker 7: studio came on and it was.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Pre uh what was it, pre Smart Pandemic.
- 18:45Speaker 8: Pre twenty four, pre Boom Angry.
- 18:49Speaker 10: Yeah to that, Gloria, I think you're absolutely right, and
- 18:51Speaker 10: you can really see it in Anti Christ. But for
- 18:54Speaker 10: the sound quality, I think he really ripped us off.
- 18:56Speaker 10: A nymphomaniac.
- 18:57Speaker 9: Part two.
- 18:57Speaker 7: I think King's peaking.
- 19:01Speaker 5: I think he ripped off how much we peaked.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Because Carol, you were such a master of making sure
- 19:04Speaker 4: everything peaked and it sounded so good.
- 19:07Speaker 3: And it's probably because it's probably because my ass is
- 19:10Speaker 3: on top of Carrol, and it's probably because Carol's boom,
- 19:13Speaker 3: He's got a fucking knife on top of it.
- 19:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 10: Yeah, I think we just found a groove.
- 19:18Speaker 9: Chapel.
- 19:19Speaker 10: Once you were on my shoulders, we were just like,
- 19:20Speaker 10: this works, so let's just keep doing this for the
- 19:23Speaker 10: rest of the shoot.
- 19:24Speaker 5: It was you know, it's funny.
- 19:25Speaker 4: I actually think another group of people ripped you all off,
- 19:27Speaker 4: and it was the Daniels because when I saw Swiss
- 19:29Speaker 4: army man, I said, that's.
- 19:30Speaker 5: That's Carol and Chapel person. Yeah, absolutely, that is.
- 19:35Speaker 8: That's our sound in the boys department.
- 19:37Speaker 4: And I remember one of the one of the Daniels
- 19:40Speaker 4: he visited set for. There was an elementary school nearby
- 19:43Speaker 4: that cave and uh and they are involved in the
- 19:47Speaker 4: tragedy as well, and it is sad, but I think
- 19:49Speaker 4: he was there.
- 19:50Speaker 5: I think Daniel was there. I think I saw Daniel.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:54Speaker 7: He wasn't visiting an elementary school as an adult, man.
- 19:57Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, no, no, he the elementary school
- 19:59Speaker 4: was visiting the set a farmhouse for when we were
- 20:02Speaker 4: out there, in Kansas, and I think I saw Daniel.
- 20:04Speaker 5: I really think I saw Daniel.
- 20:06Speaker 10: I got to work with Daniel Craig recently.
- 20:08Speaker 6: And oh what what did you work with Daniel Craig on?
- 20:12Speaker 9: It was a commercial in Japan for energy drink.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Carol, Your body of work is wild.
- 20:20Speaker 10: You know, I'm a running gun kind of guy. You know,
- 20:22Speaker 10: you need me somewhere, and I'm I'm a mercenary for sound.
- 20:25Speaker 4: What kind of stuff did you hear from Daniel Craig
- 20:28Speaker 4: when when you know, when you're the only ears.
- 20:30Speaker 10: Listening, When when he was when he thought he was
- 20:33Speaker 10: off mic Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, when he's pissing, he's
- 20:37Speaker 10: got when.
- 20:38Speaker 7: He wears the mic pack into the bathroom and to
- 20:40Speaker 7: turn it off, yeah yeah.
- 20:42Speaker 10: And admittedly I had enough time to turn it.
- 20:45Speaker 8: Off, but yeah, when you're dirty ass, turns it on.
- 20:48Speaker 10: Come on, Carol, Yeah, you know he really he takes this.
- 20:51Speaker 10: He hums a lot when he's in the bathroom when
- 20:52Speaker 10: he peas that dirty bit. Yeah, you can tell he's
- 20:56Speaker 10: enjoying every drop. And I just it's it's nice, it's
- 21:00Speaker 10: it's it's honestly the way I would like to piss
- 21:02Speaker 10: because he's sort of like guy.
- 21:03Speaker 9: I would like to look like him, but.
- 21:04Speaker 10: Now that I know how he peased, I would like
- 21:06Speaker 10: to pee like him too.
- 21:08Speaker 7: He grabs it with both hands.
- 21:10Speaker 5: Yeah, and you can hear that, well, I I can.
- 21:13Speaker 2: If I could interject and give you some business advice
- 21:15Speaker 2: really quick, I think you could make a lot of
- 21:17Speaker 2: money on a coffee table book that is different celebrities
- 21:20Speaker 2: and what they sound like when they're pissing.
- 21:21Speaker 10: I think so, you think so that's a great idea, Jimma.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, you have a whole wealth of experience and it's uh.
- 21:30Speaker 2: I think you could modetize that. And if you want
- 21:32Speaker 2: to talk after this, I'm welcome to do that.
- 21:34Speaker 10: My cousin's an intern at Penguins, so maybe, yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 6: Maybe that probably will not help you.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you know that's not gonna Penguin is
- 21:42Speaker 1: a giant, giant, multi conglomerate production and a publishing house,
- 21:48Speaker 1: So just an internship will not help you.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Get Well, what department is the internship?
- 21:53Speaker 10: She hasn't heard back from yet, so she's got.
- 21:55Speaker 5: A's not gonna help.
- 21:59Speaker 10: He's applying, Well, well, she's going to be an intern.
- 22:05Speaker 10: This is just the waiting period for it to happen.
- 22:07Speaker 7: I don't want to interrupt anybody, but I'm glorious.
- 22:10Speaker 8: We got to talk place Gloria, Place, Gloria.
- 22:13Speaker 7: No, take up space, Gloria, my gosh, no, no, no, no,
- 22:16Speaker 7: that's fine, talking about the internet.
- 22:18Speaker 4: No.
- 22:19Speaker 2: No, I'm so shy about the props, and I think, uh,
- 22:22Speaker 2: and you can you can let it show, you can
- 22:24Speaker 2: let your freak flag fly.
- 22:26Speaker 7: Oh my gosh.
- 22:27Speaker 4: No.
- 22:27Speaker 7: I mean my main memory is just sort of I
- 22:30Speaker 7: don't know, creeping into a scene and saying, I'm so sorry.
- 22:33Speaker 7: Here's the knife, so sorry, I'm so sorry. I got
- 22:37Speaker 7: the chainsaw.
- 22:37Speaker 9: You know it was even that was too loud for
- 22:39Speaker 9: most takes.
- 22:42Speaker 8: Okay, Carol, you talked about your cousin enough, Carol.
- 22:47Speaker 7: I'm sorry, Carol. Are you still upset about that?
- 22:49Speaker 5: Not at all.
- 22:50Speaker 9: I've processed, Okay.
- 22:53Speaker 7: I just didn't want it. When everyone was setting up,
- 22:55Speaker 7: they look so busy and you know, excited, and then
- 22:58Speaker 7: once you were shooting it was usually pretty quiet, so
- 23:00Speaker 7: I thought this is a good time for me to
- 23:02Speaker 7: bring in the plate to the dinner scene.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Well, funnily enough, what's so interesting about the props is
- 23:08Speaker 1: so many of them were actually used as murder weapons.
- 23:10Speaker 6: Because let's just get the elephant out of the room.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Fourteen people died during the making of this movie. There
- 23:17Speaker 1: is and they're just discovering all of them and discovering more.
- 23:21Speaker 1: We thought they were just going away or quitting and
- 23:23Speaker 1: then they would disappear finding now they're finding all of
- 23:26Speaker 1: your props in these people's bodies.
- 23:28Speaker 7: Isn't that so crazy? And a lot of the times
- 23:31Speaker 7: it's not really a thing that you would think of
- 23:32Speaker 7: as being easy to kill someone with no I mean,
- 23:36Speaker 7: I did some of the costume styling too, because we
- 23:38Speaker 7: were on a tight budget for four and you know,
- 23:42Speaker 7: some people were strangled with a tight eyed T shirt.
- 23:44Speaker 3: And also talk about strangling, Gloria, you took care of
- 23:47Speaker 3: the cow that I voiced.
- 23:49Speaker 7: I took care of the talk.
- 23:50Speaker 6: About strangling, talk about strength.
- 23:52Speaker 5: You put it out of its misery. That was so
- 23:54Speaker 5: nice of you to put that old cow out of
- 23:56Speaker 5: its misery. I didn't know that was the prop.
- 23:57Speaker 7: Me mouth does the cow had herminal? Sorry, I'm nervous.
- 24:04Speaker 7: This is making me nervous.
- 24:06Speaker 4: I'm all right, I know it's crazy. I feel like
- 24:09Speaker 4: I can't believe you're nervous. Run the microphone, I feel
- 24:11Speaker 4: like you'd be good with any object.
- 24:14Speaker 7: Oh my gosh. No, When Carol would come by with
- 24:17Speaker 7: that mic knife, I would get so anxious.
- 24:20Speaker 8: Probably because it has a knof on it.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's pretty reasonable. I got pretty scared of the
- 24:25Speaker 2: knife too.
- 24:27Speaker 9: People's complaints before.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Anyway, mm hmmm, sorry, Gloria, were you trying to say
- 24:39Speaker 2: something to me? I was just curious, curious about what
- 24:47Speaker 2: I didn't hear it, Gloria, everybody listening to too nervous.
- 24:54Speaker 6: Oh she's so she's going in her shell.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Just oh, a big show like a crab again.
- 25:03Speaker 8: Oh ship. We'd lose like hours to this.
- 25:07Speaker 5: And it's crazy.
- 25:08Speaker 4: And I think what's craziest to me is you're the
- 25:10Speaker 4: You're the most shy tall person I've ever met.
- 25:13Speaker 5: You're six eight, So it was crazy to me.
- 25:15Speaker 7: That's true. They keep trying to recruit me from the w.
- 25:18Speaker 5: NBA, and I won't do it.
- 25:19Speaker 7: I'm too shy.
- 25:21Speaker 3: And what's crazy is they're mainly recruiting her, not because
- 25:23Speaker 3: of her hot, because of how damn shy she is.
- 25:26Speaker 8: They love that on the field, the basketball field.
- 25:30Speaker 2: The Sparks said that we have too many big personalities.
- 25:32Speaker 2: We need a shy person to round out the cast.
- 25:34Speaker 6: We need some glue, some glue.
- 25:38Speaker 5: We're at the cast of our basketball team.
- 25:40Speaker 9: We need a real Steven Adam here.
- 25:42Speaker 6: I'm a sixty two.
- 25:43Speaker 7: Year old woman and I would love to play basketball.
- 25:45Speaker 7: I would, but I just am too shy.
- 25:49Speaker 8: Our cast of basketball players on this field me glue?
- 25:53Speaker 7: Is this sound?
- 25:54Speaker 6: Okay?
- 25:54Speaker 7: I'm inside my big shell.
- 25:57Speaker 8: Tall Gloria, Gloria. What have you been up to? What
- 26:00Speaker 8: have you been up to since farm?
- 26:02Speaker 4: Oh?
- 26:02Speaker 7: My gosh? Since farm? Well, mostly I just spend time
- 26:06Speaker 7: with my grandchildren. I got my collection of knives, all
- 26:12Speaker 7: rat and and you know, I just I just a garden.
- 26:19Speaker 8: Oh, so did you retire?
- 26:21Speaker 7: I never formally retired, So every once in a while,
- 26:24Speaker 7: just for fun, I'll do prop styling for a local
- 26:28Speaker 7: car dealership commercial or you know, something like that.
- 26:33Speaker 4: I also want to shout out all the formal retirements
- 26:35Speaker 4: in the prop master community. When I get to see
- 26:37Speaker 4: those communities get together for the formal retirements.
- 26:40Speaker 6: It's so I've been to a few.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I've been to a few. They feel less like a
- 26:45Speaker 2: funeral and more like a celebration of life. It's sort
- 26:48Speaker 2: of like they have a wake where they lay out
- 26:50Speaker 2: all the props inside a coffin and it's.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Kind of like an Egyptian burial. You're buried with all
- 26:56Speaker 1: the props you ever made.
- 26:57Speaker 3: It's hey, y'all, y'all, I got a question for the table.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I'm just just for fun. Where was everyone at the
- 27:05Speaker 3: time of the murder?
- 27:07Speaker 5: That's a fun question, A fun question.
- 27:10Speaker 4: I think.
- 27:10Speaker 3: I think we've been talking about where we like, what
- 27:13Speaker 3: we went up to, but what was everyone's elba?
- 27:17Speaker 7: Which murder? Because there were so let's start with that.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Let's do the big one, right, the original one man?
- 27:26Speaker 2: The rest? Yes, yeah, Snowman.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Yeah, let's just and I think we should just go fast,
- 27:31Speaker 3: quick and loose and see.
- 27:33Speaker 8: I would just love to know.
- 27:35Speaker 6: Great.
- 27:36Speaker 4: So, where was I when a man in a snowman
- 27:38Speaker 4: costume was exploded in front of everyone on camera? I
- 27:42Speaker 4: was in video village. I was in video village, and
- 27:45Speaker 4: I was getting the shot. I did not know there
- 27:47Speaker 4: was a man inside of it, and I wasn't aware.
- 27:50Speaker 4: And uh, as far as I'm concerned, I actually have
- 27:54Speaker 4: very very specific notes in pre pro writing there should
- 27:58Speaker 4: not be a man inside of this is about to
- 28:00Speaker 4: blow up, because I just I just make notes like
- 28:02Speaker 4: that so that's where I was.
- 28:04Speaker 5: That's where I was.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I had locked myself in my trailer because we were
- 28:09Speaker 2: serving pancakes that were too small and it pissed me off.
- 28:13Speaker 2: So that's where I was.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Was anyone in the trailer with you? Because I was
- 28:17Speaker 3: on top of Carrol and Carol can batch for that.
- 28:20Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Are you accusing me of lying about being in my
- 28:24Speaker 2: trailer having.
- 28:25Speaker 3: No, I'm just a no guys, No guys. Hey, I'm
- 28:27Speaker 3: just doing to get to know you. Where have you been,
- 28:29Speaker 3: what you've been up to? What's your alibi? And anybody
- 28:31Speaker 3: vouch for your alibi?
- 28:34Speaker 2: Now? Are you wearing a wire?
- 28:35Speaker 6: You're not.
- 28:37Speaker 5: You aren't recording this, are you?
- 28:38Speaker 6: Guys?
- 28:39Speaker 8: This is a podcast. We are literally recording this. I'm
- 28:42Speaker 8: just trying to jez.
- 28:43Speaker 5: But this is for fun. Nothing for fun can be
- 28:46Speaker 5: used for crime.
- 28:46Speaker 1: My lawyer said, oh yeah, yeah, record.
- 28:51Speaker 2: If you're saying just for funsies, it doesn't count as
- 28:54Speaker 2: a confession in an icebreaker expert, Yes.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Yes, it's an icebreaker just for funsies. Can anybody asked
- 29:00Speaker 3: for your alibi?
- 29:01Speaker 7: Jymnah, I once robbed a bank just for funzies when
- 29:03Speaker 7: I was in my very early twenties.
- 29:06Speaker 8: See how I started.
- 29:07Speaker 3: I think I started wondering about alibis when Gloria said
- 29:10Speaker 3: that she's been up to just looking at her knabs'.
- 29:14Speaker 6: And I've also got a question about that. Did that
- 29:16Speaker 6: Did the.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Bake robbery make you shy or were you very shy
- 29:19Speaker 1: going into it?
- 29:21Speaker 7: Well, the father had told us that we needed more
- 29:23Speaker 7: money for the revolutionary cause. Okay, so we did go
- 29:27Speaker 7: ahead and rob that bank. And then they were all
- 29:30Speaker 7: these cameras and they came in and they said are
- 29:33Speaker 7: you being held captive?
- 29:35Speaker 9: Ma'am?
- 29:35Speaker 7: And I got so shy.
- 29:38Speaker 5: And I am doing the math.
- 29:39Speaker 4: We shot from House four in nineteen eighty four, and
- 29:42Speaker 4: you were in your forties, So in your twenties, you
- 29:45Speaker 4: were in Los Angeles in the late sixties. And my
- 29:48Speaker 4: other question to that is just location wise, were you
- 29:51Speaker 4: more out in Malibu or you were were you more
- 29:54Speaker 4: in West Hollywood? Because there's two years I have told
- 29:57Speaker 4: I'm thinking about.
- 29:58Speaker 7: No, I have to remember where I was in my
- 30:00Speaker 7: twenties and in my forties on one particular day.
- 30:04Speaker 6: Talking about where you were when you're.
- 30:06Speaker 2: In your forties, because there are call sheets, there's a
- 30:08Speaker 2: paper trail you were with us.
- 30:10Speaker 5: What I'm asking is, were you part of the Manson
- 30:11Speaker 5: family or the Source family? Just just be very specific,
- 30:14Speaker 5: just like.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Off the top of your head, for funsies, completely, I
- 30:19Speaker 3: just for funsies.
- 30:20Speaker 7: I will tell you neither Side's liberation Army.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Okay, okay, John Duggery, where were you?
- 30:30Speaker 6: I was taking a walk?
- 30:33Speaker 5: All right?
- 30:34Speaker 2: I like that. I don't like that.
- 30:36Speaker 7: It was a weird tone of voice.
- 30:38Speaker 1: A man can't take a walk. A man can't take
- 30:40Speaker 1: a walk. Where's the thing with? Yeah, no, man could
- 30:46Speaker 1: just be taking a half. In twenty twenty three, Gloria,
- 30:49Speaker 1: you're reading my book.
- 30:51Speaker 7: You read my brands, my book I did.
- 30:55Speaker 6: It's so good much thank you.
- 30:58Speaker 7: Re very good, very exciting. And you wrote it just
- 31:01Speaker 7: for funzies, so it's not.
- 31:02Speaker 6: It was just for fun, So it's all good. Yeah.
- 31:05Speaker 6: So I was just taking a walk.
- 31:06Speaker 8: And the title of your.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Book is if I were to have done it?
- 31:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, if I were to have done it, it
- 31:12Speaker 1: kind of talks about.
- 31:13Speaker 8: It's and this was pre OJ or post oj.
- 31:16Speaker 1: This was right at the same time, right at the
- 31:19Speaker 1: same time. He kind of stole my head.
- 31:21Speaker 10: You got really like, that's why we didn't hear about it.
- 31:24Speaker 6: That's it got buried by his.
- 31:27Speaker 1: So it was post nine to eleven right at the
- 31:29Speaker 1: same time as OJ and it just fell right right
- 31:32Speaker 1: into it.
- 31:34Speaker 6: But it wasn't me.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I was taking a walk and how could I Why
- 31:37Speaker 1: would I? You know, these are the questions that everybody.
- 31:42Speaker 2: I think, John Dougery, you were famously method during this
- 31:45Speaker 2: and so just for.
- 31:47Speaker 6: Fun we can say that, just for fun, we can
- 31:49Speaker 6: say that.
- 31:50Speaker 7: It was so amazing about your method was that you
- 31:53Speaker 7: were always wearing fice pint.
- 31:55Speaker 1: You were always I was always in ficet pint, and
- 32:00Speaker 1: we had a fun game of I wouldn't take it
- 32:03Speaker 1: off because the bad guy would never take off his
- 32:06Speaker 1: he Basically, the history of the bad guy was he
- 32:08Speaker 1: was one of these blue people who ate too many
- 32:11Speaker 1: blue foods, and so his skin became blue. He was
- 32:14Speaker 1: exposed to too much silver too, That's another reason why
- 32:17Speaker 1: your skin turns blue. So I would expose myself every
- 32:20Speaker 1: night to silver and try to eat it and drink
- 32:22Speaker 1: it as much as I could. Maybe it made me insane,
- 32:25Speaker 1: Maybe it made me insane, but I didn't do it.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Why well, why, One thing I will say is you
- 32:30Speaker 4: know that specific murder that could have been mouthfeasance right,
- 32:34Speaker 4: like he could have gotten himself walked in the Snowman
- 32:37Speaker 4: because that man was the pyrotechnics expert.
- 32:41Speaker 5: And I feel like.
- 32:43Speaker 1: But this is why it's confusing, because notoriously we all
- 32:46Speaker 1: hated him, and so it gives everybody a mode, you know.
- 32:49Speaker 5: But he also left a note after that.
- 32:53Speaker 4: I think we some of us read it as a
- 32:55Speaker 4: suicide note, and then some of us read it as
- 32:58Speaker 4: he knew it was gonna happening a hard time.
- 33:02Speaker 7: Remember.
- 33:03Speaker 8: Oh yeah, I have.
- 33:04Speaker 5: The note here somewhere. Hold on, let me grab it.
- 33:06Speaker 4: The note said, uh, it said good luck figuring this out.
- 33:12Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 33:12Speaker 3: And I just want to say the podcast that's been
- 33:17Speaker 3: asking all of us that we've all declined except Jimma
- 33:20Speaker 3: the title.
- 33:21Speaker 8: Good luck figuring this out?
- 33:22Speaker 2: Except it.
- 33:23Speaker 8: I thought they could have been more creative with it.
- 33:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:25Speaker 7: Title, it's a little disrespectful.
- 33:27Speaker 8: It's very disrespectful.
- 33:28Speaker 5: It's on the nose.
- 33:29Speaker 4: I mean, I heard the first tattle of Snowman Town,
- 33:31Speaker 4: and I'm glad they changed that to be honest, Maria,
- 33:33Speaker 4: where were you?
- 33:34Speaker 6: Where were you during the Snowman.
- 33:36Speaker 7: During the Snowman situation? Where was I?
- 33:40Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 33:40Speaker 8: So yeah, we're circling back for funsies.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Just directly asking you, Yeah, just directly asking direct.
- 33:46Speaker 7: Oh gosh, where would I have been? Well, I probably
- 33:49Speaker 7: would have been back in that bathroom stall that we
- 33:53Speaker 7: were using as a green room, just sort of sorting
- 33:57Speaker 7: my knives and under other props forks, spoons.
- 34:02Speaker 6: You are so shy, I say not, you are so shy.
- 34:06Speaker 7: I'm turning bright red all this intention.
- 34:10Speaker 8: Okay, all right, you.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Make me uncomfortable, Carol, will you vouch for me and
- 34:15Speaker 3: say that I was on top of you, and you
- 34:16Speaker 3: and I.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Were, but we didn't know where both of you were,
- 34:19Speaker 4: just because you were on top of Carrol, we didn't know.
- 34:21Speaker 5: We don't know where Carol is.
- 34:24Speaker 10: Crafty, thank you.
- 34:26Speaker 7: You can't really disprove that, because Evelyn did pass. She
- 34:30Speaker 7: was the second person.
- 34:32Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 34:33Speaker 10: Well, most for all of these, Chapel was on my
- 34:36Speaker 10: shoulders and all, well, well with the exceptional one, but
- 34:40Speaker 10: even that's not really that interesting in a story. I mean,
- 34:42Speaker 10: I guess, well, well, for the fifth murder, I h.
- 34:49Speaker 9: Chapel wasn't on my shoulders.
- 34:51Speaker 10: I was alone, and I was sort of having one
- 34:53Speaker 10: of those introspective moments by myself off in the woods
- 34:56Speaker 10: of like, you know, Carol, what kind of a man
- 34:58Speaker 10: are you?
- 34:59Speaker 9: Are you the kind a man who's going to admit
- 35:01Speaker 9: when he was wrong?
- 35:02Speaker 10: That knife was too heavy on that boom mic and
- 35:06Speaker 10: you know, are you gonna answer for that? And are
- 35:09Speaker 10: you gonna We got to get rid of this mess.
- 35:11Speaker 10: We got to just do it. You're about to You
- 35:13Speaker 10: can't go to prison, So are you gonna do what's right?
- 35:18Speaker 10: And oh shit, she's still alive. Uh, just hit it again,
- 35:23Speaker 10: Just make it quick because she's gonna tell on you
- 35:25Speaker 10: and then get rid of the body.
- 35:26Speaker 9: Are you that kind of man?
- 35:27Speaker 10: And yeah, that's how I spent one of the murders.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Okay, so one of the murders was spent this murdering. Yeah, well, it.
- 35:38Speaker 8: Does sound like you didn't know.
- 35:41Speaker 2: You were busy doing the murder.
- 35:44Speaker 10: No, no, no, I was kind of asking myself what
- 35:46Speaker 10: kind of a man I was and putting myself in
- 35:48Speaker 10: sort of a role playing situation.
- 35:54Speaker 9: You know what, fine that one might be. Here's another one.
- 35:56Speaker 10: Would you push one person in front of a train
- 35:58Speaker 10: to save the train, or would you crack should train
- 36:00Speaker 10: to save one person who's the train?
- 36:09Speaker 2: Technically you're killing two people, and.
- 36:13Speaker 5: Who's the and who's the person?
- 36:14Speaker 6: Well, I will say it's always been so confusing.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You always bring this up, because how would pushing somebody
- 36:19Speaker 1: in front of a train ever save a train?
- 36:22Speaker 6: That's what I've always wondered about this.
- 36:23Speaker 3: And I need what do you mean, John Douggery when
- 36:26Speaker 3: you say you always bring this up?
- 36:28Speaker 8: Have you talked to Carol about this before?
- 36:32Speaker 6: I don't recall, I actually know it's all.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Yeah, well listen, I did also want to I want
- 36:37Speaker 4: to recall.
- 36:39Speaker 6: I do recall for funsies. I do recall. We have
- 36:41Speaker 6: talked about this a lot. We get drinks all the time.
- 36:44Speaker 9: For yeah, most of the time, we're just sitting in
- 36:47Speaker 9: a park car.
- 36:48Speaker 6: We're sitting in a part car, just thinking.
- 36:49Speaker 9: Well.
- 36:50Speaker 4: I also vividly remember I want to say, I think
- 36:52Speaker 4: there's somebody else here that knows secrets about Carol because chapel.
- 36:55Speaker 4: I remember Carol kind of developing this religious look towards
- 37:00Speaker 4: you because he said I got to go to my chapel,
- 37:02Speaker 4: and you guys would do confession when you were sitting
- 37:04Speaker 4: on her shoulders. When you're sitting on Carrol's shoulders, So
- 37:07Speaker 4: I remember all I remember, I remember just looking listening
- 37:11Speaker 4: in post and I remember, like someone I think, I
- 37:15Speaker 4: think there was a scene with Jemma trying to pull
- 37:19Speaker 4: that horse tooth out of her arm, and uh, I
- 37:23Speaker 4: kept hearing forgive me, forgive me, chapel.
- 37:25Speaker 8: Jima was pulling Jima was pulling the horse tooth out
- 37:28Speaker 8: of her boob.
- 37:29Speaker 5: First of all, I'm sorry, I don't remember it like that.
- 37:32Speaker 5: I don't recall.
- 37:33Speaker 4: I don't recall I remember it like that. Well, I honestly, well,
- 37:36Speaker 4: boobs are arms to me, like it's.
- 37:37Speaker 5: There's no difference, Like I'm not I'm not like that.
- 37:39Speaker 3: So what I always thought was right, He's not here
- 37:43Speaker 3: to defend himself.
- 37:45Speaker 5: I've never been with a woman. I've never been here
- 37:47Speaker 5: to defend himself.
- 37:48Speaker 4: I've never been with a woman that I don't objectify him everybody.
- 37:50Speaker 4: I don't see body parts. I see boobs. Arms is
- 37:52Speaker 4: all the same, Like it doesn't. I can't even tell
- 37:54Speaker 4: because I'm just like, I've never been with a woman.
- 37:57Speaker 3: And when Jemma picks up a glass of water, he
- 37:59Speaker 3: thinks it's with her boot.
- 38:00Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know.
- 38:01Speaker 4: I couldn't presumably know, like I don't know what part
- 38:03Speaker 4: of her body does what because I'm.
- 38:04Speaker 6: Not letting.
- 38:06Speaker 5: Boy Fris boom.
- 38:10Speaker 4: Absolutely, but I'm just saying, uh, Chapel, I think you
- 38:13Speaker 4: know a lot of secrets about Carol.
- 38:16Speaker 3: When I'm up there, I'm not Chapel, what are you?
- 38:23Speaker 10: Yeah, we're more of an extension of the same person.
- 38:25Speaker 7: I think.
- 38:27Speaker 2: I do remember lots of times when Carol would speak,
- 38:30Speaker 2: but Chapel's voice would come out. I hate it now,
- 38:33Speaker 2: and I hate I hated that bullshit.
- 38:36Speaker 7: That bullshit sucked. No one liked it when you did that.
- 38:41Speaker 10: When it first happened, I was like, what the fuck?
- 38:44Speaker 10: But then I got on board with it after that.
- 38:47Speaker 7: You know, Gemma, speaking of your breasts, if I may, sure,
- 38:52Speaker 7: I always thought it was so interesting that whenever the
- 38:56Speaker 7: police would come out to photograph one of the accidents,
- 39:00Speaker 7: there would be perfect breast imprints sort of in the
- 39:04Speaker 7: dirt next to the body, nipple, areola, everything.
- 39:07Speaker 5: Oh there were I wouldn't notice that. That's interesting.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Look who's talking for Funzie now, Gloria.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Well, I think that's interesting that you would bring that up,
- 39:18Speaker 2: because I famously, after these movies, I wore nothing but
- 39:23Speaker 2: push up bras. So I don't know how how such
- 39:28Speaker 2: boobs could be connected.
- 39:29Speaker 5: To my boobs famously too. It was it was written,
- 39:34Speaker 5: it was famous.
- 39:35Speaker 8: I couldn't I couldn't get a glass of lemonade.
- 39:38Speaker 3: You apart in this town without knowing you had push
- 39:43Speaker 3: without knowing, I dropped my voice.
- 39:46Speaker 8: You had a pushup bra on.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I look these magazines. It was the early two thousands.
- 39:53Speaker 2: They were rabbit about that. They wanted to know who
- 39:56Speaker 2: was wearing what kind of bra when. And I had
- 39:59Speaker 2: to shoe reporters away because it was.
- 40:02Speaker 6: That was crazy, Tames. It was the two thousands.
- 40:05Speaker 1: So about twenty years after fifteen, twenty years after the
- 40:09Speaker 1: our movie came out, your boobs.
- 40:11Speaker 6: Became the center of America's attention.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Well because I and thank god that Janet Jackson did
- 40:19Speaker 2: what she did at the same time as me, because
- 40:22Speaker 2: during a basketball game, I was performing at the halftime
- 40:24Speaker 2: show taking place on the same day, and of course
- 40:28Speaker 2: my boobs famously fell out, bringing them back into the
- 40:31Speaker 2: national spot.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the Baja man accidentally ripped your top off, right, yeah.
- 40:35Speaker 7: All the way off. They went into a friendly.
- 40:40Speaker 10: They weren't even performing, right, they were just.
- 40:42Speaker 2: There the bathroom right, so too, to their credit, they
- 40:47Speaker 2: were on mushrooms. They were sitting in the front row.
- 40:49Speaker 5: And the.
- 40:52Speaker 8: Credit who were on mushrooms.
- 40:54Speaker 5: Yeah, there we get my pass.
- 40:57Speaker 9: We all give them a pass.
- 40:58Speaker 8: And thank god they were.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Doing my spiders on my breasts that were going to
- 41:03Speaker 2: hurt me, and so that was them trying to rip
- 41:06Speaker 2: them off to to save my breasts.
- 41:08Speaker 6: They're good guys.
- 41:09Speaker 1: They're actually good guys.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Guy them whatsoever. Me and the Baja men are crystal cool.
- 41:19Speaker 6: Well, I love that. That's great.
- 41:21Speaker 1: It's right under the radar credit. So so that's interesting,
- 41:28Speaker 1: though it kind of felt like you were kind of
- 41:29Speaker 1: segueing away from the bootprints in the same It's interesting, especially,
- 41:35Speaker 1: you know, especially there was there was very specific and
- 41:38Speaker 1: there were a lot of bootprints for one where you're
- 41:40Speaker 1: specifically or accident. The tenth where your co star Ryan
- 41:46Speaker 1: Den thinking he had an accident.
- 41:49Speaker 5: That was really sad.
- 41:50Speaker 10: I was this was gonna be his big breakout role
- 41:53Speaker 10: in America.
- 41:53Speaker 5: Too, And they said he died by asphyxiation too.
- 41:56Speaker 7: Yeah, almost as if a breast had gotten sucked up
- 41:59Speaker 7: in his mouth and watched his throat.
- 42:01Speaker 1: That's what they said. It wasn't strangulation, it was asphyxiation.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Yeah, exphyxiation be a breast. But I do want to
- 42:08Speaker 2: talk about all the breast uh replicas of my breast
- 42:11Speaker 2: that Gloria made in case of an emergency, and I
- 42:15Speaker 2: want to talk about how accurate those were.
- 42:17Speaker 4: And how that could played in this big mouth Gloria,
- 42:20Speaker 4: as we talked about, I were huge.
- 42:24Speaker 5: So I'm just.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Saying there were multiple pairs of my breasts floating around
- 42:29Speaker 2: during the time of the murder. So I don't know.
- 42:31Speaker 2: I don't know how anyone anyone say definitively say it
- 42:35Speaker 2: was the ones attached to my body that were indicating
- 42:38Speaker 2: of anything.
- 42:38Speaker 3: And this is what happens to Farmhouse, this is what
- 42:42Speaker 3: happens to the podcast, to the mini series, to the books.
- 42:46Speaker 8: These murders are so fucking weird.
- 42:49Speaker 3: There's boobs, there's there's there's two people on top of
- 42:53Speaker 3: each other speaking speaking in tongues. There's there's there's cults
- 42:58Speaker 3: you can't and there's fifteen murders, face crazy, there's.
- 43:04Speaker 7: Men for every single one.
- 43:06Speaker 8: Oh yeah, a freaking dummy.
- 43:09Speaker 4: A lot of footage, a lot of foot a lot of.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Damn footage, and for some reason, the snowman I can't
- 43:15Speaker 3: I can't rent around my mind around it. And what
- 43:19Speaker 3: sucks is we lost track of the story in the
- 43:23Speaker 3: film and the cinema.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the saddest thing is the film suffered the
- 43:27Speaker 1: saddest thing about but.
- 43:28Speaker 5: It was people loved to remember.
- 43:29Speaker 4: We got an award, We got a Gumby for it,
- 43:31Speaker 4: and it was really exciting and I'm so exciting that
- 43:34Speaker 4: we got the gun.
- 43:34Speaker 3: We got nominated for an MTV Best Kiss specific awards
- 43:40Speaker 3: they give off on the Gumby Show.
- 43:42Speaker 6: It was from Gumby and it's the size of guy.
- 43:44Speaker 4: I met Gumby, I went on I went on set,
- 43:48Speaker 4: I met Gumby himself, I met Pokey, I met the blockheads.
- 43:52Speaker 5: We had so much fun. They were so nice to me.
- 43:55Speaker 8: They showed you to defend yourself. You were there that
- 43:58Speaker 8: not to have fun, exactly right.
- 44:01Speaker 4: They made me small and they made me clay and
- 44:04Speaker 4: I walked around and I had a wonderful time. It
- 44:07Speaker 4: was so nice and then they gave it to me
- 44:09Speaker 4: and unfortunately the award doesn't translate into human so it stayed.
- 44:14Speaker 4: It is just a little tiny block that I keep sometimes.
- 44:17Speaker 1: I was thinking it would be nice, is just if
- 44:20Speaker 1: we took a second to just name all the people
- 44:22Speaker 1: in their positions that died.
- 44:25Speaker 8: Just anyone. I have the list.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Well, can we play can we play the memorial video?
- 44:30Speaker 6: Yeah, let's do that instead. Let's play them okay, because.
- 44:33Speaker 7: They sort of read out the names in a really slow,
- 44:35Speaker 7: meaningful way.
- 44:36Speaker 5: And we all and we all did parts all this
- 44:40Speaker 5: video as we.
- 44:41Speaker 2: All did on it.
- 44:42Speaker 7: That's the only survivors, it felt right. Oh yes, I
- 44:45Speaker 7: forgot we made this video.
- 44:46Speaker 6: I forgot we were the only survivors to we made
- 44:49Speaker 6: this video.
- 44:49Speaker 5: Remember we made this video.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Oh, that's why it was us.
- 44:52Speaker 5: We came back. We came back at the birth of YouTube,
- 44:54Speaker 5: and we made this video for YouTube.
- 44:56Speaker 8: It was at the birth of YouTube. It was when
- 44:58Speaker 8: it was when we all came around and YouTube was
- 45:01Speaker 8: coming out. And he was birthing under the three Bethlen stars.
- 45:06Speaker 7: And then you have gotten so religious has gone straight
- 45:12Speaker 7: to the chapels and I remember.
- 45:15Speaker 3: I remember, and then they had me play the cow
- 45:19Speaker 3: for this. Here we go and I said, the names.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Okay, I'm pressing play in the corner.
- 45:33Speaker 5: Spencer Davidson Pyrotechnics.
- 45:38Speaker 7: Annabelle Grimlin costumes, Genas Slideki set Medic, Evelyn Thomas.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Blood and consultant, Cody.
- 45:59Speaker 6: Markie Be, Patricia Fink, Hot Teacher.
- 46:12Speaker 7: John Popovich, Johnny.
- 46:19Speaker 9: Dale van Dorp, Local Hire.

- 47:26Speaker 8: Happy Birthday YouTube?
- 47:30Speaker 5: That was. I love that video. That video.
- 47:32Speaker 4: That video, it has eight hundred views.
- 47:39Speaker 2: And that was on the birth They got around copyright
- 47:42Speaker 2: restrictions on Arms of the Angel because they only played
- 47:44Speaker 2: the same fifteen.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Seconds and they kind of overlapped it a bunch, which
- 47:48Speaker 1: is crazy.
- 47:50Speaker 7: Would have given James Earld James's title.
- 47:53Speaker 9: I know.
- 47:53Speaker 6: It was so mean that they didn't give.
- 47:55Speaker 12: Yes.
- 47:55Speaker 2: He did so much on sex.
- 47:58Speaker 1: He was literally he was four of the roles. I
- 48:02Speaker 1: think that's why she just had too many roles and eighty.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Four of the roles. And he played Santa when we
- 48:07Speaker 2: were shooting on Christmas, just to cheer us all up.
- 48:10Speaker 5: Oh my god, remember that God. That's when we found
- 48:13Speaker 5: him dead.
- 48:14Speaker 7: The saddest parteen months since Sean mcclayan, who was under
- 48:21Speaker 7: the Snowman costume.
- 48:22Speaker 8: We missed his name in the video.
- 48:24Speaker 9: Oh that's a bummer.
- 48:28Speaker 8: We only had two hours in that YouTube studio.
- 48:30Speaker 4: We didn't well, we didn't know back then on YouTube,
- 48:32Speaker 4: you didn't know how long the video could last.
- 48:34Speaker 5: You were nervous, you were sometimes you got nervous.
- 48:36Speaker 6: You had to get in and get.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Out, and you had to go into the YouTube studio
- 48:41Speaker 2: because it was in beda.
- 48:43Speaker 9: It was.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Which again, we are so lucky that this came out
- 48:47Speaker 2: when it is.
- 48:48Speaker 8: And back then, back then, we thought YouTube was a room.
- 48:51Speaker 5: We did well.
- 48:53Speaker 7: We thought it was We thought it was one long.
- 48:57Speaker 5: Certain things change.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Things change, Okay, what's next for everybody? What's next?
- 49:03Speaker 5: Oh?
- 49:03Speaker 10: Man, Well the lawn order Toronto thing pans out, I hope.
- 49:07Speaker 5: So I'm nervous about that, Harold.
- 49:10Speaker 6: Some crimes in Toronto a place.
- 49:13Speaker 4: The way you describe jobs, it makes me nervous, Carol,
- 49:15Speaker 4: that you're not up for it at all. Considering your issue,
- 49:19Speaker 4: considering your cousin is applying for an internship, and you
- 49:22Speaker 4: said that he's an intern at Penguin.
- 49:25Speaker 10: I mean, look, we do things a certain way in
- 49:30Speaker 10: the old Sandborn family, and I've carried on the Sandborne
- 49:33Speaker 10: traditions of half assn't it from way.
- 49:38Speaker 8: Back when, Like I worry.
- 49:42Speaker 10: They were both carpenters, were they?
- 49:46Speaker 9: Uh huh? Yeah?
- 49:47Speaker 6: I remember visiting that parents house. It was basically falling apart.
- 49:52Speaker 9: Yeah, you know that apartment in Miami, No, which one?
- 49:58Speaker 10: Well, the one that collapsed on every buddy and killed everybody?
- 50:03Speaker 12: That was my parents care Carol, I hate to say it,
- 50:07Speaker 12: I'm not surprised having the cast party after after the
- 50:11Speaker 12: second one and I got tenanus from your floorboards.
- 50:17Speaker 10: I did buy a can of Thompson's water sealed, but
- 50:19Speaker 10: I just didn't get around to putting it on.
- 50:22Speaker 3: Well, Carol, I don't think you're ever going to go
- 50:24Speaker 3: into production for Law and Order Toronto because I think
- 50:26Speaker 3: that script is probably never gonna get made because it
- 50:28Speaker 3: feels like it's only going to get like the only
- 50:30Speaker 3: crime in Toronto is about like zoning permits or something.
- 50:34Speaker 10: Well, that guy killed all those people and fed him
- 50:35Speaker 10: to his pigs in Vancouver.
- 50:37Speaker 3: So, Totoya, what do you have coming up next? Did
- 50:46Speaker 3: when he when you heard about all those pigs getting killed,
- 50:48Speaker 3: did that make you excited?
- 50:50Speaker 7: Absolutely? And do you know because I'm entering a livestock
- 50:54Speaker 7: competition with my grandchildren so I'm looking forward to that
- 50:59Speaker 7: and spend a little more in time with them, and
- 51:02Speaker 7: maybe going overseas to hand out some pamphlets and tell
- 51:06Speaker 7: people about the sacrifices that are.
- 51:07Speaker 1: What are the names of your grandchildren? Sorry, what are
- 51:10Speaker 1: the names of your grandchildren?
- 51:12Speaker 7: Jesus Christ and Alan?
- 51:14Speaker 3: Okay, our crass in Jesus competitive.
- 51:18Speaker 7: Oh my gosh, you wouldn't believe it. They drive me crazy.
- 51:23Speaker 5: But boys will be boys. Wow.
- 51:25Speaker 4: And what do you say when you stub your toe
- 51:29Speaker 4: or something?
- 51:30Speaker 5: You scream one of their names? Or do you say something?
- 51:33Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I'll scream out Alan.
- 51:38Speaker 8: Okay, Gloria.
- 51:39Speaker 7: Okay, Well it was likely seeing you. I can't wait
- 51:43Speaker 7: to hear what you're up to. Jemma, Well, the charity
- 51:48Speaker 7: takes up a lot of my time. It involves a
- 51:51Speaker 7: lot of field work. I go onto the street.
- 51:53Speaker 2: I look for kids at lemonade stamps and stuff like that.
- 51:57Speaker 6: Oh, I forgot about your charity. Yeah, well you get
- 52:00Speaker 6: kids to less.
- 52:01Speaker 9: Oh yeah, try and.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Make kids do less. So I'm pretty much hunting. Uh yeah,
- 52:07Speaker 2: we we sort of dropped it. But that's okay because
- 52:11Speaker 2: I'm not doing too much right now.
- 52:12Speaker 6: You know.
- 52:13Speaker 2: It's just pretty much stopping kids from starting dreams.
- 52:16Speaker 10: I gotta say, Jim, I don't want to I don't
- 52:18Speaker 10: want to pee on your parade, but I'm kind of
- 52:20Speaker 10: glad that charity didn't exist when I was a kid,
- 52:21Speaker 10: because I love that trip to Catalina I with my uncle,
- 52:25Speaker 10: and I don't.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Want to take that away from you. Carol. It's it's
- 52:28Speaker 2: more about looking around the neighborhood, seeing kids doing stuff.
- 52:32Speaker 2: When I moved to a suburb in Orange County to
- 52:36Speaker 2: find peace.
- 52:37Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, which one?
- 52:40Speaker 1: Which one that is not an Orange County freaking liar?
- 52:46Speaker 2: Okay, fine, I did the murders? Are you no?
- 52:50Speaker 6: You didn't. I did some of that. Wait a second,
- 52:54Speaker 6: can be honest.
- 52:55Speaker 5: Do we all do it?
- 52:56Speaker 7: At least we all have done one or two.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Are we talking about this? No, listen to me. This
- 53:02Speaker 4: is disgusting. I didn't do any of these murders. Little Cody.
- 53:08Speaker 3: Oh, come on, I forgot about little Cody.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Little Cody from the beginning. I don't know what's this
- 53:16Speaker 2: nice USh nice you said?
- 53:21Speaker 7: Little Cody wasn't coming.
- 53:22Speaker 4: Guess what the Cody is always here?
- 53:27Speaker 6: Stand down, ignorant.
- 53:30Speaker 8: Have y'all ever played that improv game?
- 53:31Speaker 3: Where you put your hands behind your back and you
- 53:33Speaker 3: see your hands and someone else's back and you play
- 53:35Speaker 3: and you act like your hands are there.
- 53:37Speaker 5: I don't do. I find it frivolous. Yeah I have.
- 53:41Speaker 8: I did that with our fake cow, and I killed somebody.
- 53:45Speaker 7: Oh my goodness, after the real cow died because the
- 53:48Speaker 7: mercy killed it.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh my god. That was crazy that that whole
- 53:52Speaker 2: confession came out of Carol's mouth.
- 53:57Speaker 10: You didn't even get around here, and I did chop
- 53:59Speaker 10: up that girl. That's why I was having that conversation.
- 54:02Speaker 6: I saw that, Carol.
- 54:04Speaker 8: We knew that.
- 54:05Speaker 5: We knew that, and I could have helped.

- 54:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I didn't believe.
- 54:23Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna be all the blue handprints
- 54:26Speaker 1: and face prints are on his body and all all
- 54:29Speaker 1: in the snowman.
- 54:29Speaker 6: But I think it's the walk thing.

- 54:35Speaker 1: women walk, and.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Non binary people jog. Anyways, we have to kill the
