- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Welcome back to Almost Famous. It's Ben and Lauren here
- 0:09Speaker 2: to break down another episode of the Real Housewives of
- 0:13Speaker 2: Rhode Island. This episode was jam packed with scenes and
- 0:17Speaker 2: moments and there's so much emotional introspection that I want
- 0:23Speaker 2: to walk through. But before we get into it, let's
- 0:26Speaker 2: talk about what will happened? Watch What Happens Live.
- 0:30Speaker 3: It's such a coveted show and like, it's so cool
- 0:34Speaker 3: to see Ashley on there, Like everyone thinks that that
- 0:37Speaker 3: is cooler than just being a real housewife.
- 0:40Speaker 4: What made it that cool?
- 0:42Speaker 2: Is it Andy specifically, or like why is it so
- 0:47Speaker 2: such a big deal.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I don't know. I think like favorites go on there,
- 0:51Speaker 3: I guess. And it's cool because Andy is such a
- 0:53Speaker 3: cool guy and if he likes you, then like you're
- 0:56Speaker 3: kind of in and it's just like a cool like
- 0:59Speaker 3: late night place, so you can like say your piece
- 1:02Speaker 3: before the reunion. Like not everyone gets that opportunity. This
- 1:06Speaker 3: is my first really watch what happens that I watched?
- 1:09Speaker 4: Yeah, same here.
- 1:10Speaker 2: It's it's interesting, Lord, I've been as we just kind
- 1:14Speaker 2: of talk about Bravo in general, I have been surprised,
- 1:19Speaker 2: pleasantly surprised and intrigued with how they've built this like
- 1:26Speaker 2: loyalty and excitement around it. When I grew up, Bravo
- 1:30Speaker 2: was not at all what it is today.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember Bravo was like just queer eye, queer
- 1:37Speaker 3: eye for the straight guy. Sure, yeah, that got the
- 1:41Speaker 3: ball rolling?
- 1:42Speaker 4: Was that Andy?
- 1:43Speaker 3: I will give him credit for it. I don't know
- 1:45Speaker 3: if he deserves it, but I'll give him credit for it.
- 1:48Speaker 2: It's it's pretty exciting. Well, Ashley and Jared did make
- 1:51Speaker 2: an appearance. Jared was mixing the cocktails and Ashley got
- 1:55Speaker 2: to speak her peace.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Louren, what stood out to you?
- 1:59Speaker 3: I like that actually has had many platforms this week
- 2:02Speaker 3: to debunk all the ship that Kelsey was saying against Ashley.
- 2:07Speaker 3: So she had that platform on like two different podcasts,
- 2:10Speaker 3: and then she had on Watch What Happens and they
- 2:12Speaker 3: were like, so Kelsey said that you know, she reaches
- 2:15Speaker 3: out and you don't respond, and she was like, here
- 2:19Speaker 3: are the texts, here are the receipts, And so I
- 2:24Speaker 3: think that there's no rebuttal for Kelsey at this point
- 2:27Speaker 3: because there are the receipts. I also thought it was
- 2:30Speaker 3: great when they played the like Defend your Friend, where
- 2:34Speaker 3: they brought up everything Rosie has done, and Ashley had
- 2:36Speaker 3: a fantastic response each time they they're like, defend Rosie
- 2:42Speaker 3: on the fight, defend Rosie on the square footage, and
- 2:46Speaker 3: she like had something valid every time. Oh, in this week,
- 2:50Speaker 3: I don't know if you saw that, Dave Portnoy came
- 2:53Speaker 3: out and said, I guess because it's a crossover between
- 2:58Speaker 3: Bravo and Sport and obviously he's the sportsman that Rosie
- 3:04Speaker 3: was allegedly sleeping with a head coach of a basketball team,
- 3:08Speaker 3: I think, And so Rosie had to come out and say,
- 3:14Speaker 3: not true, it never ever met him. So she went
- 3:17Speaker 3: on many platforms and said she never ever met him
- 3:19Speaker 3: and actually got to defend her on that stance too.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Did the name of the coach get put out there?
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yes, the name of the coach got put out there,
- 3:26Speaker 3: but like genuinely she's like, I've actually never met him.
- 3:28Speaker 3: So I don't know how I can say this over
- 3:31Speaker 3: and over again. You guys believe me? Yeah, because Dave
- 3:34Speaker 3: port and I said that, it got to like so
- 3:36Speaker 3: many different people that would not normally watch the show,
- 3:40Speaker 3: Like guys are talking about it because like, oh yeah,
- 3:42Speaker 3: my team started losing when he started sleeping with this woman.
- 3:46Speaker 3: So she really had to come out and be like guys,
- 3:48Speaker 3: everyone over the internet. None, none of that happened.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Oh I know this coach, Wow, that's okay.
- 3:54Speaker 2: But but Rosie saying, hey, never met the guy, not
- 3:58Speaker 2: a thing. Yeah, then if this isn't real, goodness gracious,
- 4:02Speaker 2: how how much do we feel for that coach that's
- 4:05Speaker 2: gotten dragged into a.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Mess that he.
- 4:08Speaker 3: May have done it with someone else but not a housewife.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure at some point in his life he
- 4:14Speaker 2: has yeah, you know, had had that kind of interaction
- 4:17Speaker 2: with a with another person.
- 4:19Speaker 4: But I don't know if Rosie is the one.
- 4:22Speaker 2: It is good for Ashley, the clear the air. It's funny.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I think for Ashley it's a big deal. But really,
- 4:31Speaker 2: Ashley has stayed unscathed through this whole thing. Crossers, Lauren,
- 4:37Speaker 2: what's your thoughts on Jared? How's he looking at of
- 4:39Speaker 2: all this? Through all this?
- 4:41Speaker 3: He's looking great? I don't see. I think he's a
- 4:45Speaker 3: fan favorite. Honestly, people love people love him. He's an
- 4:49Speaker 3: un problematic, handsome king, so they all they all love him.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I know that, like he doesn't like to hear about
- 4:55Speaker 3: the extra drama that goes on behind the scenes, and
- 4:58Speaker 3: like once filming's over, he's kind like, Okay, we did it.
- 5:02Speaker 3: We didn't cause any drama, so let's just like, you know,
- 5:05Speaker 3: be happy about that. So he like closes his ears
- 5:07Speaker 3: and goes la la, la, la la every time ouches
- 5:09Speaker 3: on the phone with me giving me extra juice.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Is it hard for you to sit down and do
- 5:15Speaker 2: what we're doing here with as much as you know
- 5:18Speaker 2: and how much you've been influenced by your sister.
- 5:22Speaker 3: No, I think it's more fun because like you can
- 5:24Speaker 3: look at it in a different way and kind of
- 5:26Speaker 3: understand things a little bit better because I can see
- 5:29Speaker 3: beyond the fourth wall and kind of understand the fight's
- 5:33Speaker 3: a little bit better. But we'll get into that when
- 5:34Speaker 3: get to lose his fight this week. Now.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I think the question so many people have been asking
- 5:40Speaker 2: us as we've started the breakdown is you would know,
- 5:44Speaker 2: and I think you can answer it. Is this show scripted?
- 5:46Speaker 2: Some of this stuff, especially this episode, is so outrageous
- 5:49Speaker 2: that you're like they've had to tell these people just
- 5:51Speaker 2: to have this argument and let it explode to whatever
- 5:54Speaker 2: point and then we'll be friends after. Is this scripted
- 5:57Speaker 2: or not?
- 5:58Speaker 3: No, it's just not scripted. I have nothing else to
- 6:01Speaker 3: elaborate on, Like, there's just this is just how they feel,
- 6:05Speaker 3: very organic.
- 6:07Speaker 2: They just found the right people to battle it out.
- 6:10Speaker 2: See episode after episode again, if you haven't watched, watch
- 6:14Speaker 2: What Happens Live. Ashley was a part of that. Jared
- 6:18Speaker 2: was there. It's fantastic when.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Caitlen was there. Yeah, because everyone is allowed to
- 6:23Speaker 3: bring like a friend of and put them in the audience.
- 6:26Speaker 3: I've learned that this week. So Caitlin was a great choice.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Obviously everyone stated her. She lives in New York now,
- 6:33Speaker 3: so it was great.
- 6:35Speaker 4: It's true I dated Caitlin. I guess yes you did.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Jared's dated Kaitlyn. Yeah, that's good. At the same time, actually, see.
- 6:44Speaker 3: We are we are more problematic than we think.
- 6:46Speaker 2: We definitely are. Okay, let's let's break this episode down.
- 6:51Speaker 2: There's a few points that really stand out. The episode
- 6:53Speaker 2: opens up where the previous one left off. The women
- 6:56Speaker 2: are going to Boston to see Rosie's husband Rich per
- 7:00Speaker 2: form as Frank Sinatra. A little side note here is
- 7:03Speaker 2: somehow Rich got the daytime gig because it is so
- 7:07Speaker 2: bright outside, so it's not even night.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I didn't even clock that. That's awful.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like the daytime Frank Sinatra. He's rich, a
- 7:17Speaker 2: good singer.
- 7:18Speaker 3: He seems like I he seems like he can pull
- 7:21Speaker 3: off Sinatra, but like, there's not a lot of range there.
- 7:24Speaker 3: I think he's an entertainer, not a singer.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Okay, I was listening to. I mean some of his
- 7:29Speaker 2: songs got better as the night went on. I think
- 7:31Speaker 2: that probably some lubrication. His first song, when they really
- 7:34Speaker 2: highlighted him, I was like, ooh, that's a pitchy.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Yeah, a little pitchy, a little tough to hear.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I wanted him to be great, and I do think
- 7:43Speaker 2: he got better as a night continued. However, he wasn't
- 7:46Speaker 2: the focus Lauren, by any means. We pick up with
- 7:50Speaker 2: the car ride again, as we talked about last week. Alicia, Liz,
- 7:54Speaker 2: and Joel and are in a car driving to Boston
- 7:57Speaker 2: for this.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Show and all hell breaks loose.
- 8:01Speaker 2: They can't like, there's no conversation except for yelling and screaming.
- 8:08Speaker 2: We then kind of pick it up again while the
- 8:10Speaker 2: show is going on. Lauren, This argument, I think gets
- 8:16Speaker 2: confusing to me. On why it existing, which typically is
- 8:19Speaker 2: how arguments happened in my life. And I'm in an argument,
- 8:22Speaker 2: oftentimes I look back, I'm like, how did that actually start?
- 8:25Speaker 2: There's a lot of things said, Yeah, but what was
- 8:27Speaker 2: exactly the root cause? Am I wrong in thinking that
- 8:31Speaker 2: the root cause was the kind of Liz checking Alicia
- 8:35Speaker 2: still on, hey you weren't actually without a home?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:39Speaker 3: I think that it was Liz being like, again, just
- 8:44Speaker 3: you're never homeless. And then what escalated it, which wouldn't
- 8:49Speaker 3: escalate it for me, but I guess it does for Liz.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Is Joe Allen trying to play mediator that really pissed
- 8:57Speaker 3: Liz off. And then Liz just kept going and going
- 9:00Speaker 3: and going and not helping the situation. And I think
- 9:02Speaker 3: Alicia just got like emotional, like sometimes when you start crying,
- 9:05Speaker 3: you just can't stop crying, and then that made it
- 9:07Speaker 3: awkward for everyone.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Are you a crier? I think I've asked you this.
- 9:10Speaker 3: No, I'm not a crier.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Well, Joellen's playing both sides, and I think to break
- 9:17Speaker 2: this down properly because there's a lot of things being said,
- 9:20Speaker 2: none of it really is I think we're sticking and
- 9:23Speaker 2: sticking on because it's just kind of the same thing
- 9:26Speaker 2: over and over.
- 9:27Speaker 3: I agree.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Yeah, So I think to.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Break this down, Lauren, if you're okay with it, we
- 9:31Speaker 2: need to talk about each side's perspectives. Yeah, let's start
- 9:36Speaker 2: with Joellen. She's in the middle of this. I don't
- 9:41Speaker 2: think it would be wrong to say Joellen definitely does
- 9:46Speaker 2: like to engage in whatever thing is happening at the time. However,
- 9:53Speaker 2: to her credit, and then I won't give her credit
- 9:56Speaker 2: through this whole thing.
- 9:57Speaker 4: She was kind of stuck in this to have to
- 9:59Speaker 4: get engaged like she was.
- 10:01Speaker 2: It's a car ride with the three of them, Like
- 10:03Speaker 2: she had to say something.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Yeah, she had to say something. But then if you
- 10:07Speaker 3: put anyone else in that scenario, I think they would
- 10:10Speaker 3: have just sat back maybe and like let them have it.
- 10:13Speaker 3: But I think that Joellen saw that Alicia was super upset,
- 10:17Speaker 3: and she's such like a I wouldn't say a sensitive person,
- 10:20Speaker 3: but like a sympathetic character that you kind of want
- 10:23Speaker 3: to stick up for her, especially when like scary Liz
- 10:25Speaker 3: is there. So I feel like she had to defend her.
- 10:29Speaker 3: But Liz is looking at this, like, Joellen, the night before,
- 10:37Speaker 3: you were saying the same thing as me. We were
- 10:40Speaker 3: at dinner with all of our husbands, and you literally said,
- 10:43Speaker 3: homeless is not the same as whatever. She's like, so
- 10:46Speaker 3: why can't you just say that, say exactly that so
- 10:49Speaker 3: that I don't look like an idiot here. But then
- 10:52Speaker 3: she wasn't saying that, and she's tried to play the
- 10:55Speaker 3: calm mediator and that's what set off Liz. And then
- 10:59Speaker 3: a look like Alicia is just like demoralized. She's like,
- 11:04Speaker 3: I said this one tiny thing that I felt really
- 11:07Speaker 3: emotional about and everyone just like yelling at me for
- 11:10Speaker 3: And then we go later on we see her mom
- 11:12Speaker 3: say that she feels offended and disrespected about Liz, just
- 11:17Speaker 3: like we thought she would be, because she's telling her
- 11:19Speaker 3: how her life was. So it's like really messy. I
- 11:22Speaker 3: think that if I were in that situation, I would
- 11:24Speaker 3: try to be a mediator like Joellen. But then once
- 11:27Speaker 3: I realized nothing was working, I'm like, okay, guys, let's
- 11:29Speaker 3: just be quiet, like simmered down.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Now.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Are we getting a taste during this of the frustration
- 11:38Speaker 2: with Joellen already? I mean, I think if it was
- 11:40Speaker 2: anybody else, if it was Ashley sitting in Joel and
- 11:43Speaker 2: see and Ashley handles it the same way. I do
- 11:47Speaker 2: think the voice of Ashley carries a little more weight
- 11:51Speaker 2: because it feels like Liz has had it with Joellen
- 11:55Speaker 2: up to this point, and this was a breaking point.
- 11:57Speaker 2: This wasn't exactly like Liz was now to upset with
- 12:00Speaker 2: Joelle necessarily over this incident. It was more, Hey, there's
- 12:04Speaker 2: been a lot of things leading up to this. I
- 12:06Speaker 2: don't think you're authentic, is what Liz tells Joellen. So
- 12:10Speaker 2: I threw it back to you, Lauren, as a watcher,
- 12:14Speaker 2: Is Joellen authentic?
- 12:16Speaker 3: Okay, that's such a loaded question. For some reason, I
- 12:19Speaker 3: feel I feel like a kindred spirit with Joellen, just
- 12:23Speaker 3: because honestly, like I'm a talker, Like I really enjoy it,
- 12:28Speaker 3: and I think and she obviously is too, and she
- 12:31Speaker 3: wants to like kind of have her hand in everything
- 12:35Speaker 3: just so she can like have something to talk about,
- 12:38Speaker 3: have something that's dramatic, and like talk with her friends
- 12:41Speaker 3: and play both sides. I don't think she's a bad person.
- 12:45Speaker 3: I think she just like takes a lot of joy
- 12:48Speaker 3: in the drama.
- 12:49Speaker 2: You know.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I don't think she's necessly doing anything malicious to everyone,
- 12:52Speaker 3: But people don't like that she doesn't have loyalty to sides.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Laura, I absolutely love you. I do.
- 12:59Speaker 2: I think you're the best. Like that, you just admit
- 13:01Speaker 2: that I'm a talker. So as a talker, is there
- 13:05Speaker 2: ever a point, Lauren where it backfires on you?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Though?
- 13:09Speaker 2: Do you ever find yourself going, oh no, I got
- 13:11Speaker 2: too deep in this one.
- 13:13Speaker 3: I mean, you know, when you get two people in
- 13:14Speaker 3: the same car that you were signing, you both are
- 13:17Speaker 3: signing clip, that will get you in trouble. But then
- 13:20Speaker 3: you do see you see both sides in the situation,
- 13:23Speaker 3: Like you can say this, I said this because I
- 13:24Speaker 3: think this, and this this, but you can't contradict yourself.
- 13:27Speaker 3: I don't necessarily think she was contradicting yourself. But the
- 13:31Speaker 3: crux of this is that Joellen, I guess she says
- 13:34Speaker 3: like really mean things behind people's back. And Liz knows
- 13:38Speaker 3: that side of Joellen. So seeing Joellen be this kind
- 13:42Speaker 3: soft mediator is like shut up, you know, be yourself,
- 13:46Speaker 3: and that that's really what it is. She's getting pissed
- 13:49Speaker 3: because she's like the Joelle and I know is an
- 13:51Speaker 3: apple but like my friend an appole, and she just
- 13:55Speaker 3: doesn't recognize this other Joellen and she's like just be
- 13:57Speaker 3: authentically yourself, which is an apple Okay.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I think that's a great point when it comes to
- 14:02Speaker 2: scenarios like this, you have to pick your side, but
- 14:05Speaker 2: there is still authenticity in the pursuit. Yeah, so what
- 14:11Speaker 2: Liz was saying, I guess we'll pause here and say,
- 14:15Speaker 2: were you on Liz's side in this?
- 14:16Speaker 3: Then? No? Because it went too far. I think it
- 14:19Speaker 3: just went a little too far. I was kind of
- 14:21Speaker 3: on Liz's side because, as I said the previous episode,
- 14:26Speaker 3: like she was just trying to like save Alesha from
- 14:28Speaker 3: looking stupid, but then it got too far. She should
- 14:31Speaker 3: have been like, you know what, like you can look stupid,
- 14:33Speaker 3: you can say that. I just I wouldn't bring up
- 14:35Speaker 3: the wholeless thing again, I really wouldn't have. I just
- 14:38Speaker 3: felt bad for Alicia because her tears really sad. I
- 14:41Speaker 3: feel sad for Joellen because Liz went off the rails.
- 14:45Speaker 3: As we see at when they get actually inside, she
- 14:49Speaker 3: literally does pull her hair and pushes her away and
- 14:52Speaker 3: says some scary stuff, and her passive aggressive smiles are terrifying.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I have this as a note, like there's a look
- 14:59Speaker 2: that Liz gives that makes me go.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Like, you there's something wrong in there.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Yeah, she has the crazy eyes.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Yeah, like the woman's smiling over your bed before she
- 15:12Speaker 3: stabs you, Like it is a weird, weird smile. That
- 15:18Speaker 3: is like a very very frustrating because like, you don't
- 15:20Speaker 3: have to smile if you're mad at me.
- 15:22Speaker 2: And honestly, it just kind of freaks me out when
- 15:24Speaker 2: you do.
- 15:24Speaker 3: It's really scary.
- 15:25Speaker 2: It's very scary, Like it really throws me off. And
- 15:30Speaker 2: it also I think it would honestly like make me
- 15:32Speaker 2: upset because if I'm feeling a certain way Sam Alisia
- 15:37Speaker 2: or even Joe Ellen, let's give Joellen the benefit of
- 15:40Speaker 2: the down and say, hey, she actually really thought Liz
- 15:42Speaker 2: was one of her best friends. She's realizing Liz doesn't
- 15:45Speaker 2: really like her at all. It's hurting her inside. She's panicking.
- 15:49Speaker 2: And then you have somebody looking across from me just
- 15:51Speaker 2: giving that like smile like I really don't care, Like
- 15:54Speaker 2: that hurts deeply. Yeah, it's worse than words. You can
- 16:00Speaker 2: say a lot of things to me. It's the apathetic
- 16:03Speaker 2: smile of I'm looking right through you that freaks me
- 16:07Speaker 2: out because I don't see empathy.
- 16:09Speaker 4: In that smile.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Mm hmm. Yeah, you said it very well. I like
- 16:13Speaker 3: can't express how frustrated I would be internally seeing someone
- 16:17Speaker 3: that I'm like I really care about I'm in a
- 16:19Speaker 3: fight with and they're laughing and they're smiling, and it's
- 16:22Speaker 3: like it's psychotic, And I feel bad because I know
- 16:26Speaker 3: Liz is very affected by this the rest of the season,
- 16:29Speaker 3: because she kind of looks kind of crazy for the
- 16:32Speaker 3: rest of the season and she's not feeling great about it.
- 16:36Speaker 3: But it is an odd way to fight with someone,
- 16:38Speaker 3: And I wonder how she fights with her husband.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, because that's actually a great point. If
- 16:44Speaker 2: my wife and I were in an argument and she
- 16:46Speaker 2: looks at me with that smile like you don't care,
- 16:48Speaker 2: I know it, Like you could care less of what
- 16:50Speaker 2: we're talking about right now. You can care less of
- 16:52Speaker 2: what I'm trying to tell you, what you're trying to
- 16:54Speaker 2: tell me. You just want to be right here, which
- 16:57Speaker 2: is a very bad place to get in a relationship. Yeah,
- 17:03Speaker 2: but we learned through this.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Really.
- 17:06Speaker 2: The third character is Alisha, obviously, who kind of is
- 17:09Speaker 2: the one that brings us up. We see Alicia later
- 17:13Speaker 2: on the episode with her family after her daughter's kind
- 17:16Speaker 2: of dance recital and where she wins what did you
- 17:21Speaker 2: learn during this sit down that brings light to the
- 17:24Speaker 2: conversation with Liz and Joelleen.
- 17:28Speaker 3: It seems like Liz may have gotten it wrong with
- 17:32Speaker 3: the homelessness conversation because she Alicia says, like, Mom, I
- 17:38Speaker 3: said that, like she's word in different mind. She was
- 17:41Speaker 3: like that we were left homeless. She said that to
- 17:45Speaker 3: her mom, left homeless is different than we were homeless.
- 17:49Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, Like we were left without
- 17:51Speaker 3: a home. First, we were homeless. But her mom was like,
- 17:55Speaker 3: I take great offense to that, and I am offended
- 17:57Speaker 3: that Liz, someone who's been in our life for so long,
- 17:59Speaker 3: would even put like those words out there, that like
- 18:04Speaker 3: we were never homeless and it wasn't a hard time
- 18:07Speaker 3: for us. And then they start saying, what did she say?
- 18:12Speaker 3: That that Liz was abusive to Alicia? And I guess
- 18:19Speaker 3: that would be a form of abuse, just like telling
- 18:21Speaker 3: you how like your life was and kind of manipulating
- 18:25Speaker 3: your reality.
- 18:26Speaker 2: I wonder if Liz, if like Alicia and her mom
- 18:32Speaker 2: maybe like an aunt were sitting there and they said no, Liz,
- 18:35Speaker 2: like we really were without a home. Yeah, I wonder
- 18:39Speaker 2: if Liz would respond with, hey, I was wrong.
- 18:44Speaker 3: I think she would you do. I think she would
- 18:47Speaker 3: say like, look, I didn't know that. I'm sorry. I
- 18:51Speaker 3: was just trying to look out for Alicia. I wasn't
- 18:54Speaker 3: aware of the situation. It seems like she can be
- 18:56Speaker 3: even though she is scary and laughs and smiled and
- 18:59Speaker 3: she's an argument. I do feel like she's someone who
- 19:01Speaker 3: can admit when she's wrong. But I would love to
- 19:06Speaker 3: see Liz and the ants and the mom get together,
- 19:10Speaker 3: because those ants are strong. Alicia seems like someone that
- 19:13Speaker 3: you know, you could kind of push over, but those
- 19:15Speaker 3: ladies you cannot push over.
- 19:17Speaker 2: No, I mean, I think they're like they're the security
- 19:20Speaker 2: guards that need to come in and protect Alicia. Alicia's
- 19:23Speaker 2: very soft, not in like that's I don't mean that name.
- 19:27Speaker 2: She just like feels very easily hurt. And she also
- 19:32Speaker 2: does not speak highly of herself. Like they said you
- 19:36Speaker 2: have the perfect life, and she said, no.
- 19:38Speaker 3: I'm not married. I'm like, doesn't matter. A lot of
- 19:40Speaker 3: people aren't married and they have a great life. Also,
- 19:44Speaker 3: the ants were insinuating that Liz is off her rocker
- 19:48Speaker 3: because she's like smoking the weed that she creates, and
- 19:51Speaker 3: you could tell Alicia was like, I need to defend
- 19:53Speaker 3: this right now because I'm also scared of Liz and
- 19:57Speaker 3: I need to say she doesn't do it. To do it,
- 20:00Speaker 3: she says it's a it's a holy something I don't remember,
- 20:03Speaker 3: she says, a sacred plant, so she won't do it.
- 20:06Speaker 3: So that was just another demonstration of her trying not
- 20:08Speaker 3: to get on Liz's bad side, even though she's pissed
- 20:10Speaker 3: at Liz.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Was were the ladies like hammered during this argument?
- 20:15Speaker 3: You think I think everyone's hammered during all these arguments. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 3: they had a couple.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah, some of the like facial expressions coming out, especially
- 20:26Speaker 2: with Liz it's like you're not there right now?
- 20:31Speaker 3: Oh gone gone? And Joe Allen words were slurring. The
- 20:36Speaker 3: cigarette break also a very drunk thing to do.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Ye Like, I don't I don't think.
- 20:42Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know they're smoking habits, but I
- 20:45Speaker 2: know my buddies if we're out, like watching a game
- 20:48Speaker 2: at the bar, like it's more common for them to
- 20:51Speaker 2: go on a smoke break than it would be any
- 20:52Speaker 2: other day of their life.
- 20:54Speaker 3: One hundred percent.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:55Speaker 3: And John's like, oh, where's the mine? And She's like,
- 20:57Speaker 3: I'll just share with you out I'm like, that's the
- 20:59Speaker 3: drunkest statement I've ever heard of my life.
- 21:13Speaker 4: There's a lot here, Lauren.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I do think it is kind of bringing to a
- 21:19Speaker 2: lot of the ways things that Liz has felt about Joellen,
- 21:22Speaker 2: not necessarily Alicia. I still think this got a little
- 21:26Speaker 2: out of control. I do think Liz came at it
- 21:28Speaker 2: initially as a form of protection for Alicia, and then
- 21:32Speaker 2: it's continued on and now evolved into what we see today.
- 21:36Speaker 2: But Bravo, in all their glory, does one of the
- 21:40Speaker 2: flashbacks of Joellen when Liz brings up that she always
- 21:45Speaker 2: is taking both sides, but she loves to kind of
- 21:48Speaker 2: poke the bear, loves to, you know, make things happen
- 21:52Speaker 2: and be around them. So they do this flashback, and
- 21:57Speaker 2: it did bring some things out that I weren't wasn't
- 22:00Speaker 2: piecing together. But yes, Joellen has historically, at least during
- 22:05Speaker 2: this show, love to kind of poking product things.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Yeah, but I can't blame.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Her for it, because blame her we you know, my
- 22:15Speaker 2: co host here is admitting like that, you know, there's
- 22:17Speaker 2: a there's an enjoyment in that, yeah, you know, And
- 22:22Speaker 2: I don't think Joelan's.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Doing it to make everybody hate each other, right.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's just fun conversation topics. I think
- 22:29Speaker 3: it's just being a woman, like anyone in any friend
- 22:33Speaker 3: group around the world does the exact same thing. But
- 22:35Speaker 3: I don't think it ends in explosive fights like that.
- 22:38Speaker 3: It may end in like maybe a passive aggressive text, sure,
- 22:42Speaker 3: but nothing like explosive. We all do the same thing.
- 22:45Speaker 3: I think more people like joelan than they'd like to admit.
- 22:48Speaker 3: But it's not all caught on camera and then played
- 22:50Speaker 3: back to us.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Yeah, there was one thing. Oh yeah, I wanted to
- 22:55Speaker 3: just mention that I don't know why I haven't asked
- 22:58Speaker 3: ashle yet. I meant to call her before this, but
- 23:00Speaker 3: they flashed the table I think right after Joel and
- 23:02Speaker 3: like leaves and Ashley's crying with Liz. Why is she crying?
- 23:08Speaker 4: We never know.
- 23:09Speaker 3: We never know. Ashley is just like, let me just
- 23:11Speaker 3: jump on the crying train.
- 23:15Speaker 2: I mean, this whole time, we just see Ashley's facial expressions, yeah,
- 23:21Speaker 2: kind of her like shock.
- 23:23Speaker 3: And awe, it's awkward.
- 23:26Speaker 4: We see.
- 23:27Speaker 2: One of my favorite lines from the show is Rosie going, Hey,
- 23:31Speaker 2: I'm just glad it's not me.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Exactly, and I think she's right.
- 23:34Speaker 2: In fact, Kelsey and Rosie come out of this episode
- 23:37Speaker 2: looking very great. This is a good episode for the
- 23:40Speaker 2: two of them. They really didn't see each other, which
- 23:43Speaker 2: I think was helpful.
- 23:44Speaker 3: It was great. And then that flash forward to Kelsey
- 23:46Speaker 3: and Joel and painting. Kelsey played it right, I guess
- 23:50Speaker 3: for someone who doesn't want to get in trouble, and
- 23:52Speaker 3: she was like, I would probably like just be there
- 23:54Speaker 3: and listen and like not take sides.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, yeah, it's kind of maybe the two of
- 24:00Speaker 2: them have enough going on that they're like, I really
- 24:02Speaker 2: don't want to fight with everybody here. Yeah, Kelsey's still
- 24:05Speaker 2: owning the slam pig narrative. She has now fully adopted that,
- 24:11Speaker 2: and she continues to express it, not only with what
- 24:17Speaker 2: do you call the things that go across your chest
- 24:20Speaker 2: a sash?
- 24:21Speaker 4: A sash? And also her painting.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Throughout this episode, then we do see the breakdown of
- 24:27Speaker 2: this argument happening outside of each other. We see Liz
- 24:31Speaker 2: with Dolores and Kelsey explaining what's happening. They're obviously just
- 24:36Speaker 2: a friend group kind of chattering back and forth, and
- 24:40Speaker 2: in that moment, I think Kelsey has asked what she
- 24:44Speaker 2: would do.
- 24:47Speaker 4: If she was in the car, and.
- 24:48Speaker 2: She said, I think I would probably and somewhat do
- 24:51Speaker 2: what Joellen did. I would try to calm the storm.
- 24:57Speaker 4: You know. I want to know, Lauren, what do you
- 24:58Speaker 4: think the driver of this car was doing?
- 25:01Speaker 3: Oh my god, having the time of their life. I
- 25:04Speaker 3: don't know. I would think it's fun, but I'm sure
- 25:08Speaker 3: a lot of people would just be like, I cannot focus,
- 25:10Speaker 3: Oh my god, but go I just really think outside
- 25:13Speaker 3: the car with all the other girls at the at Capo,
- 25:17Speaker 3: I think is what it's called. It just got so
- 25:19Speaker 3: crazy physical and so like I'm gonna beat this out
- 25:23Speaker 3: of you, like all this crazy stuff. I can't believe
- 25:25Speaker 3: it escalated that that much. And that's when the mediator.
- 25:30Speaker 3: There was no the media, it was just a mediator
- 25:32Speaker 3: and Liz like it wasn't even about Alicia. It's I
- 25:35Speaker 3: don't know, I'm much just amazed how it went from
- 25:38Speaker 3: an Alicia Liz argument to a Joellen loves argument. And
- 25:42Speaker 3: Dolores kind of was like throwing shade when they were
- 25:44Speaker 3: all talking together about Joellen. I don't know, She's she
- 25:50Speaker 3: couldn't take it. She just like does she just doesn't
- 25:53Speaker 3: want joel On to be fake. That's basically the crux
- 25:56Speaker 3: of this all is like she just wants her to
- 25:58Speaker 3: be the bitch that she is. Even if it wasn't
- 26:01Speaker 3: on Liz's side, I think she'd be fine as long
- 26:03Speaker 3: as she was being authentically mean.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's I think That's the word that stands out
- 26:08Speaker 2: through this episode is they they're not upset with Joellen
- 26:12Speaker 2: for figuring out the stuff with Rula. They're not upset
- 26:15Speaker 2: with Joellen really for the things that she said. They
- 26:19Speaker 2: just want her to be authentic and if she's going
- 26:21Speaker 2: to be involved in these arguments and she's going to
- 26:27Speaker 2: bring up these topics, they want her to kind of
- 26:29Speaker 2: own it because you can't have both in this world.
- 26:34Speaker 2: You can't be both a prouder and the one that says,
- 26:38Speaker 2: I'm just want to bring peace to these scenarios.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Yes.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Ashley said that the reason that this was such a
- 26:46Speaker 3: huge blowout was because Liz has so much dirt on
- 26:50Speaker 3: Joellen being such a bad person that she thought it
- 26:55Speaker 3: like she was laughing because it was such a ridiculous
- 26:59Speaker 3: thing to see someone being this understanding of both sides
- 27:04Speaker 3: because she's seen the like like the darkest side of
- 27:08Speaker 3: this woman.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Ah, that would make sense on why you would be
- 27:11Speaker 2: laughing then being like you don't want me to go
- 27:14Speaker 2: there like you.
- 27:15Speaker 3: That's what it is. She's like laughing to keep in
- 27:17Speaker 3: this like huge secret that she has.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Interesting Will that come out? Do you think in any
- 27:25Speaker 4: part of the season.
- 27:26Speaker 3: I don't think in this season. Maybe next season.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean this this seems to be a battle
- 27:32Speaker 2: that that's not going to be healed. Obviously, to close
- 27:36Speaker 2: this argument on this episode.
- 27:38Speaker 4: We do see Liz.
- 27:40Speaker 2: And Joel and sit down and we see them have
- 27:42Speaker 2: a conversation. I think with the pretext is this is
- 27:46Speaker 2: to amends the argument or to bring clarity to the
- 27:49Speaker 2: argument before. But it's quickly proven that this was not
- 27:53Speaker 2: why they were sitting down. They were sitting down to
- 27:55Speaker 2: still hash this thing out. And at this point is
- 27:58Speaker 2: when Joelle and I think, really realizes that Liz doesn't
- 28:01Speaker 2: like her.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that Jolan's very used to getting into
- 28:06Speaker 3: arguments with people and then being extremely charming and then
- 28:09Speaker 3: putting them back over very quickly. So she thought they
- 28:12Speaker 3: were gonna sit down, have a drink, hash it out,
- 28:15Speaker 3: and then she was shocked when it didn't go her
- 28:18Speaker 3: way because she was trying to make like cutees, like
- 28:20Speaker 3: comments like it's cold and like my nipples are hard
- 28:23Speaker 3: and like, and then it didn't she Liz was not
- 28:26Speaker 3: taking the bait, and it was like, Oh, this woman
- 28:29Speaker 3: hates me. This is crazy. This doesn't usually go my way.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Where does this go? Lauren?
- 28:33Speaker 2: I mean, we now have two main characters in this show. Yeah,
- 28:38Speaker 2: and it always has felt and I could be wrong,
- 28:40Speaker 2: but it's always felt like Liz is the leader of
- 28:43Speaker 2: this pack in some way or another. She's the She
- 28:47Speaker 2: might not be the character that shown the most, but
- 28:49Speaker 2: it does feel like she is the leader of the pack.
- 28:52Speaker 2: So how Liz goes the rest go I think she
- 28:54Speaker 2: has that power over the group. Do you agree or
- 28:56Speaker 2: disagree with that?
- 28:57Speaker 3: I do agree. I think she's like the matriarch. She's
- 29:00Speaker 3: probably like the most like successful, like most og Rhode Island.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Obviously speaks her mind. She doesn't really pick sides, So
- 29:10Speaker 3: I think everyone wants to be like by Liz, Ashley
- 29:13Speaker 3: really wants to be like Bils too.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Is that out of fear?
- 29:16Speaker 3: I think it could be fear and also just like again,
- 29:19Speaker 3: this word is the theme of the episode, is that
- 29:21Speaker 3: Liz seems to be pretty authentic. So it's nice to
- 29:24Speaker 3: be liked by an authentic person because you know, genuinely
- 29:29Speaker 3: they like you, rather than like a fake person liking
- 29:32Speaker 3: it like you don't know.
- 29:33Speaker 4: That's a good point.
- 29:34Speaker 2: That's maybe why, like I don't love arguing, I don't
- 29:39Speaker 2: get in arguments very often. But it also, I think,
- 29:42Speaker 2: is why maybe in my own life people wonder like
- 29:45Speaker 2: does he like me or not?
- 29:47Speaker 3: That's so valid.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Yes, what makes sense because Liz does have that. I
- 29:52Speaker 2: watched this and I said, hey, Liz was wrong. I
- 29:54Speaker 2: think through through all of this episode, how she handled it,
- 29:59Speaker 2: how she didn't quickly resolve the conflict, how she felt
- 30:02Speaker 2: like it can like she allowed it to continue to.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Erupt.
- 30:07Speaker 2: However, talking to You has brought some background to why
- 30:12Speaker 2: maybe it continued to become a big deal in her
- 30:15Speaker 2: mind and why there was things left unsaid that she
- 30:19Speaker 2: could have said that she didn't feel like it was
- 30:22Speaker 2: appropriate to say yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Because if we go back to the meeting with Rula,
- 30:26Speaker 3: what they had lunch Liz and Rula, Rula alludes to
- 30:30Speaker 3: that Joellen it isn't loyal to her husband, and maybe
- 30:33Speaker 3: that's what Liz has over her.
- 30:37Speaker 4: That'd be a big deal irony in its best right.
- 30:41Speaker 3: I know, I know. I don't know if it's true
- 30:43Speaker 3: or not. I really don't.
- 30:44Speaker 2: It's alleged, yeah, from Rula's mouth. We watched it on TV,
- 30:48Speaker 2: so it's not us saying it's Rula saying it.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked. Though this whole season has
- 30:53Speaker 2: felt like a big web of intermingling amongst spouses and others.
- 30:59Speaker 2: The one cup that it doesn't seem to be existing
- 31:01Speaker 2: with is Ashley and Jared, and we get to see
- 31:04Speaker 2: them at Audrey's for a sneak peek into the evolution
- 31:08Speaker 2: of Audrey's coffee shop. There is a storyline that has
- 31:11Speaker 2: floated throughout the season where Audrey's is not bringing in
- 31:15Speaker 2: enough money in Ashley's mind, to make it worth the
- 31:18Speaker 2: pursuit of Jared and the time that Jared.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Spends on it.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I don't know from watching these episodes if Jared would agree.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I think he would love to see it become more
- 31:29Speaker 2: successful and bringing more money for the family, but I
- 31:32Speaker 2: don't know if he agrees that it's not worth the pursuit. However,
- 31:35Speaker 2: that is a storyline that's being communicated here Lauren, it
- 31:38Speaker 2: would probably be best for you to give it clarity
- 31:42Speaker 2: on what exactly is happening behind the scenes and what
- 31:45Speaker 2: exactly they're trying to do.
- 31:47Speaker 3: I don't think it's necessarily like about the money. It's
- 31:51Speaker 3: more about how much time it takes to run Audrey's
- 31:56Speaker 3: and how much it takes away from them being able
- 31:59Speaker 3: to do anything else. But it's also like a classic
- 32:02Speaker 3: tale of owning a restaurant, you need a good manager
- 32:06Speaker 3: to be able to do anything on your own and
- 32:09Speaker 3: have and rely on them and have them think of
- 32:11Speaker 3: their business, think of it as their own business just
- 32:14Speaker 3: as much as yours. So I think if he had
- 32:17Speaker 3: like better management and people he could rely on to
- 32:20Speaker 3: run it, then it would be worthwhile. Because it's it's
- 32:24Speaker 3: a dream of Jared's. It's doing well. It's not like,
- 32:28Speaker 3: you know, it's not a dumpster fire. It's fun. Everyone
- 32:31Speaker 3: loves it. It's doing even better now. I think it's
- 32:34Speaker 3: more about like having someone help run it, you know.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Yeah, more time. I mean, Jared grinds on this thing,
- 32:41Speaker 2: and that is true. It's also part of Jared's personality,
- 32:44Speaker 2: so somewhat of it is to his own making right.
- 32:47Speaker 3: He loves working like with his hands and like running
- 32:51Speaker 3: around and having his body hurt at the end of
- 32:53Speaker 3: the day. He thinks, if your body hurts at the
- 32:54Speaker 3: end of the day, then you did the work.
- 32:56Speaker 4: Yeah, he's good, old soul. I liked that. I like
- 32:58Speaker 4: Jared for that.
- 33:10Speaker 2: And then Rosie and Rich's beach day. It kind of
- 33:14Speaker 2: fell out of place during this episode outside of everything
- 33:16Speaker 2: else that was happening. Two scenes that came about, where
- 33:21Speaker 2: Rosie and Rich's beach day and then Kelsey and Bill's
- 33:24Speaker 2: work out, it felt like, Hey, we haven't got enough
- 33:26Speaker 2: of these people during this episode. Let's find a way
- 33:28Speaker 2: to bring them in. Rosie and Rich's beach day is
- 33:30Speaker 2: really only a thing because the family is asking when
- 33:36Speaker 2: kids could be a part of the equation.
- 33:38Speaker 3: I mean, it's not much to dissect there. Really, we
- 33:42Speaker 3: love you, Rosie. If you want to have kids, have kids.
- 33:44Speaker 3: I did not realize Rich was so much older though,
- 33:46Speaker 3: That's what I.
- 33:47Speaker 4: Learned about this forty three Right.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Forty three, and when she's thirty four, thirty five.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that doesn't feel I mean, my wife and I
- 33:54Speaker 2: are what seven years apart, and it doesn't feel weird.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Is that weird?
- 33:59Speaker 3: I don't think it's weird. I just think like, oh,
- 34:01Speaker 3: he's forty three, he should probably have kids now.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a topic that we had. You know,
- 34:06Speaker 2: I'm thirty seven now she's thirty.
- 34:08Speaker 3: And it was like, hey, that's a gorgeous separation of age, though,
- 34:12Speaker 3: I think.
- 34:13Speaker 4: I think it's wonderful. Yeah, she's gonna look good for so.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Long, so she's always gonna look good.
- 34:19Speaker 4: She's always gonna look good. Yeah. Sure, skin's nice, she
- 34:24Speaker 4: smells good. Good, let's keep going.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Final thing is Kelsey and Bill they get to work
- 34:32Speaker 2: out together. We get a nice close up of Kelsey's
- 34:35Speaker 2: butt during this and Bill saying it looks good from behind.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Good for her, she's keeping it, keeping it together. This
- 34:43Speaker 2: is an interesting conversation though, because there's a lot of
- 34:47Speaker 2: honey's right, it was honey.
- 34:48Speaker 4: Getting thrown around? Was that the word Bill was using?
- 34:51Speaker 3: I think so a lot. Yeah, lots of sweet nothings,
- 34:54Speaker 3: except for when he was like he put his foot
- 34:57Speaker 3: down with get rid of your freaking car. I'm not
- 35:00Speaker 3: dealing with this anymore. And I was watching with Hunter
- 35:03Speaker 3: and he was.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Like you tell him, yeah, like he loves.
- 35:06Speaker 3: When a man like sticks up for himself.
- 35:09Speaker 4: Well, do you think she's going to go through with it.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Yeah, she'll lose Bill. I think if she doesn't.
- 35:15Speaker 4: I think Bill is locked in.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Yeah, because he didn't have sex for a year. He
- 35:21Speaker 3: still waited.
- 35:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and Bill was around still.
- 35:26Speaker 2: It seems like when she was living with another dude
- 35:29Speaker 2: and would just like show up when on call, when she.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Asked, oh poor Bill. Yeah, maybe she's gonna get her
- 35:36Speaker 3: of the car. Yeah, I guess so. I guess so.
- 35:38Speaker 3: But they weren't having sex. He just loves her so much.
- 35:43Speaker 4: He just loves her so much. It was she's fun to.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Look at, so fun to look at. We'll give her that.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Kelsey says that she had a brain tumor. What do
- 35:52Speaker 4: you think about that.
- 35:53Speaker 3: I'm surprised we didn't like lead with this. Yes, I
- 35:56Speaker 3: knew about it before, but then I forgot about it,
- 36:00Speaker 3: and then I remembered after this, and I was like,
- 36:02Speaker 3: this is this is crazy. At the round table with
- 36:05Speaker 3: the mass at dinner and they're all talking about like
- 36:08Speaker 3: their trauma. I would think that you got in a
- 36:11Speaker 3: car accident. I found out you had a brow tumor,
- 36:12Speaker 3: it would be number one. Not that you had an
- 36:15Speaker 3: older man paying for your things for ten years, right.
- 36:18Speaker 2: One you would think you think it's a big deal. Yeah,
- 36:22Speaker 2: it's a huge deal. But the good side of this
- 36:24Speaker 2: is she increased her health insurance.
- 36:26Speaker 4: It seems like.
- 36:27Speaker 3: It's all making more sense. We need really good health insurance.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Well, you need more health insurance, and you need somebody
- 36:32Speaker 2: helping pay for that because it's not inexpensive, Like, no,
- 36:36Speaker 2: you have to have a job.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Yeah, or you pay like literally one thousand dollars a
- 36:42Speaker 3: month at least if you have this this tumor situation.
- 36:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:46Speaker 3: I think we get rid of the car and then
- 36:49Speaker 3: we just keep the health insurance from Sugar Daddy.
- 36:52Speaker 4: It seems like a fair trade. It does to me.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I think you're logically thinking through this is Hey Bill,
- 37:00Speaker 2: let's you know, sell the car, but let's not pay
- 37:03Speaker 2: for the health insurance. Let's keep that going. That's one
- 37:05Speaker 2: more or less bill that we have to consider and
- 37:08Speaker 2: pay for.
- 37:10Speaker 1: You know.
- 37:10Speaker 2: To Bill's credit, I definitely think he's batting above his
- 37:16Speaker 2: average here with Kelsey.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Great, physique, great, he's a strong man. He obviously works out.
- 37:25Speaker 2: I can see where he got wrapped into this. The
- 37:28Speaker 2: question now, is is this a good relationship for Bill?
- 37:31Speaker 2: She was testing to see if he was loyal. I
- 37:34Speaker 2: would be interested for Bill to test if Kelsey is loyal.
- 37:38Speaker 3: I am so interested to see next season. I am
- 37:40Speaker 3: gonna feel bad for Bill if it doesn't work out,
- 37:43Speaker 3: because I'm sure she has some crazy guys in her
- 37:47Speaker 3: DMS right now.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not like she's not going to be a
- 37:51Speaker 2: popular person for others to pursue that. Actually, that's that's
- 37:56Speaker 2: a great storyline to follow. We have a good story.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, it's gonna be interesting. I don't know
- 38:02Speaker 3: anything right now, but I couldn't imagine this type of
- 38:07Speaker 3: girl getting a DM from like Tom Brady and saying, no,
- 38:11Speaker 3: thank you, Tom Brady. I have Bill.
- 38:13Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, I like strong Bill. He's a nice guy.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, so we get the preview for the
- 38:19Speaker 2: rest of the season has actually always I mean, I
- 38:22Speaker 2: feel like she always narrates that coming up on.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I think she's just really good at it,
- 38:29Speaker 3: and she's like more seasoned than the others, so they're like,
- 38:31Speaker 3: let's just have her do it.
- 38:33Speaker 2: And she does talk on the almost famous podcast for
- 38:35Speaker 2: a Living Rate and Review wherever you listen to podcast.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Joellen feels like she is owed an apology I don't
- 38:43Speaker 2: think she's gonna get it. Kelsey asks Liz if Liz
- 38:46Speaker 2: feels like she's ever been wrong on something, and Liz
- 38:50Speaker 2: says no, never mind.
- 38:53Speaker 4: And then there's an Arabian.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Night party that Ashley decides to wear a leather jacket to,
- 38:58Speaker 2: and Rosie asked Rula if she knows about the video
- 39:01Speaker 2: and if she wants to know what's in the video?
- 39:06Speaker 2: Rosie that part, what are you doing? Why are you
- 39:10Speaker 2: stepping in on this?
- 39:12Speaker 3: Rosie has got to have that liquid courage going on.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's just Rosie has skayed through. It
- 39:18Speaker 2: looked like this episode without controversy. I don't know if
- 39:22Speaker 2: she would be the one I would choose, or if
- 39:25Speaker 2: I was Rosie, if I would say yes to be
- 39:27Speaker 2: the one to bring it up to Rula.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Well, I guess I think La and Rosie I think
- 39:32Speaker 3: have gotten much closer over the season, So maybe now
- 39:35Speaker 3: she feels like it's okay to bring up to her
- 39:37Speaker 3: as a good friend.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Okay, that makes sense.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Well, I did get a chuckle as his conversation's happening.
- 39:44Speaker 2: They do do a little blip of Brian dancing with
- 39:48Speaker 2: the dancer.
- 39:51Speaker 3: It was perfect timing.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it was so good. It was it was well done.
- 39:56Speaker 4: I got a good laugh at.
- 39:57Speaker 3: It, Like, oh, he found the woman just wearing a
- 40:00Speaker 3: belly Nancy with like fire around her neck. Yeah, of
- 40:02Speaker 3: course that's sure.
- 40:04Speaker 4: He's at Yeah, yeah, he's into it.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Hey, this is another crazy episode of the Real Housewives
- 40:09Speaker 2: of Rhode Island. The success that continues to be a
- 40:12Speaker 2: success for all that watch everything, and everybody I talk
- 40:16Speaker 2: to that listens to almost famous podcast and knows that
- 40:20Speaker 2: Ashley is a part of it continues to come up
- 40:21Speaker 2: to me and say, Hey, they've watched season after season
- 40:25Speaker 2: after season and Rhode Island is the best one they've
- 40:30Speaker 2: ever seen.
- 40:31Speaker 3: I'm obsessed with that. I'm so glad.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Yeah, it's good. I'm glad this is the one that
- 40:35Speaker 4: we entered into. Lauren.
- 40:36Speaker 2: If not have been really awkward to just sit here
- 40:38Speaker 2: and talk about how boring the episodes are. But there's
- 40:41Speaker 2: been nothing boring yet, and there'll be nothing boring to come.
- 40:47Speaker 2: We'll be back next week breaking down another episode of
- 40:50Speaker 2: the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. Lord anything we didn't
- 40:53Speaker 2: cover that you think we should have?
- 40:55Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think I'm just still shocked
- 40:58Speaker 3: by like the physical fight that Liz and Joel and
- 41:01Speaker 3: got in. I know it wasn't that physical, but it
- 41:03Speaker 3: was kind of weird for two grown women. And that's
- 41:05Speaker 3: all I have to say.
- 41:06Speaker 4: Have you ever been in a fight?
- 41:08Speaker 3: Once? A girl punched me, but I deserved it.
- 41:14Speaker 4: That's so good. Hey, we'll be back next week. Until
- 41:17Speaker 4: next time, I've been been, I've been Lauren. We'll talk
- 41:20Speaker 4: to you soon, y'all.
