- 0:07Speaker 1: Yo, it's your girl, Jessica and Smith, and you already
- 0:10Speaker 1: know that you've entered the safe space for influencers to decompress.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Have fun and just ask God for another Do you
- 0:18Speaker 2: already know what it is?
- 0:19Speaker 3: And then you know it's about to get real.
- 0:22Speaker 1: To be sure to show your girl the love and like,
- 0:26Speaker 1: come in and subscribe God for another day.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Hey, hey, I know we could be another way.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a new weekend, just as the podcast, the
- 0:39Speaker 1: safe space where transparency meets transformation is your girl, Jessica
- 0:43Speaker 1: and Smith, and I do nothing without my girl, Desirate. Hey, Hey,
- 0:49Speaker 1: Rate de rate, Hi, Hey, Desiraate girl.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Listen, Jesus, I already know. I'm excited.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I don't know what the Lord is about to do.
- 1:04Speaker 1: But when you carry the oil, the oil, hear me,
- 1:08Speaker 1: the oil would try they would try to reject.
- 1:10Speaker 2: The oil in any form or fashion. They'll try.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Listen, guess what I'm excited about this conversation today?
- 1:18Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:19Speaker 1: Because you know, there's been a little opposition just as
- 1:22Speaker 1: we try to get starts here. But what the devilment
- 1:28Speaker 1: for evil? The Lord is turning it around for our good.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So I'm good. I really feel like, you know, when
- 1:36Speaker 2: we record.
- 1:37Speaker 1: And we have opposition, I think our mission is to
- 1:40Speaker 1: show people that in spite of that, should should go, like,
- 1:44Speaker 1: in spite of you should still move, In spite.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Of you should.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Still seek out the finish line. Thank you Lord, Thank
- 1:55Speaker 1: you Lord. You should still seek out the finish line.
- 1:59Speaker 1: And I don't know who needed to hear that right now.
- 2:01Speaker 1: We already in the beginning, But I don't know who
- 2:04Speaker 1: has stopped seeking out the finish line because obstacles have
- 2:07Speaker 1: come in the way. But real champions know how to leap.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Real champions know how to overcome. Real champions know how
- 2:14Speaker 1: to move forward. Real champions have to go through those obstacles,
- 2:18Speaker 1: those turns, those sharp turns. They you can't be a
- 2:22Speaker 1: champion and not know how to hit it right. But
- 2:24Speaker 1: they look towards the mark, and that I think that's
- 2:27Speaker 1: the important thing.
- 2:28Speaker 2: And this person that we have here.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Today understands how to look towards the market.
- 2:34Speaker 2: So I don't listen.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I'm just telling y'all, I'm just telling I met this
- 2:38Speaker 1: one through my spiritual month. Okay, that's waiting within itself
- 2:43Speaker 1: because she don't hang with no soft people. Okay, I'm
- 2:48Speaker 1: super excited because the woman we have here today has
- 2:51Speaker 1: also seen me grow who do not cry. She's seen
- 2:55Speaker 1: me a different aspects of life, navigating, trying to grow, finding.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Who I am.
- 3:02Speaker 1: And to have her on today is just amazing. She
- 3:07Speaker 1: really taught me what it looked like to be a
- 3:09Speaker 1: servant leader as well. Like and we've had conversations on
- 3:14Speaker 1: conversations on knowing when it's time to be number two,
- 3:17Speaker 1: knowing and when it's time to be number one, and.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Still honoring God through all of it.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And so I'm really excited to have a conversation about
- 3:25Speaker 1: what the Lord wants to talk about now.
- 3:28Speaker 2: The woman to God knows what she does.
- 3:31Speaker 1: She's an entrepreneur and she helps entrepreneurs, especially Kingdom entrepreneurs,
- 3:35Speaker 1: learn how to build courses so you can make a
- 3:37Speaker 1: little change. Okay, so she might teach us a little
- 3:40Speaker 1: bit today, all right. So I'm super excited to have
- 3:43Speaker 1: our family. I love miss Danita.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Ace.
- 3:48Speaker 1: God morning, good morning. I am so grateful and excited
- 3:56Speaker 1: to be here. This has been a dream come true.
- 3:58Speaker 1: When you asked me to come on, I was like, yes,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm so excited and I am so grateful to be
- 4:05Speaker 1: able to have this honest and real conversation about life, love, Jesus,
- 4:09Speaker 1: all the things, all the things, all the things. Now,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I want let me warn the people, missed Anita. She
- 4:14Speaker 1: oily like in real life for real. So if she
- 4:17Speaker 1: tapping and I get quiet, it's just because it's flowing.
- 4:20Speaker 2: It's flowing. And we've done ministry together for about.
- 4:23Speaker 1: What five that was? Yet six years we've done been
- 4:28Speaker 1: in minutes. No, it's been six years, miss Anita.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Can you believe? So I'm gonna give you. I'm gonna
- 4:33Speaker 2: give you the.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Florida say, like, what has those six years been like
- 4:36Speaker 1: with you? From your perspective with me knowing that I
- 4:40Speaker 1: wasn't as confident, And I just want to share that
- 4:42Speaker 1: because people really think that I just came out the
- 4:44Speaker 1: gate like this and you want to vouch for me.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I kind of want to. I don't know why I
- 4:49Speaker 2: want to start with that, but I want to start.
- 4:51Speaker 1: With that and let them, like, give your perspective on
- 4:54Speaker 1: what you see now, from from what you saw Dan
- 4:56Speaker 1: to what you see now.
- 4:59Speaker 5: So the thing is is that even though you felt
- 5:01Speaker 5: like you were not as bold as what you are now,
- 5:04Speaker 5: you are bold enough to get in the car and
- 5:06Speaker 5: drive an hour and a half but two hours and
- 5:08Speaker 5: say I know you're supposed to be a part of
- 5:10Speaker 5: my life. To prophet is define me and say hey,
- 5:14Speaker 5: I'm here to serve.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Who does that?
- 5:17Speaker 1: That was wild, Like I don't know people who just
- 5:19Speaker 1: get in the car and just be like, this is
- 5:21Speaker 1: what I'm tough to be doing with my time in
- 5:22Speaker 1: my life right now.
- 5:23Speaker 3: But I'm doing it. And right now I'm also keeping my.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Niece who's really mad because Blue's not on so life life.
- 5:30Speaker 1: It's real life lifing right now. So and and Danita
- 5:35Speaker 1: and I are on the same boat.
- 5:37Speaker 2: We're unties of the year. Uh huh. We're knowing how
- 5:39Speaker 2: to be unties.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And I think our audience knows that I've talked about
- 5:43Speaker 1: Kildall's kids.
- 5:45Speaker 2: And how they they've been on here.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Trician was on here before, and all his kids were here,
- 5:49Speaker 1: and they was they came on the mic, they came
- 5:51Speaker 1: on the.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Screen and everything. I love. I love kids. So we're good.
- 5:55Speaker 1: But I think I think you bring up a valid
- 5:58Speaker 1: point of understanding when you come into understanding of your
- 6:02Speaker 1: confidence of something right like how it shows up in
- 6:05Speaker 1: different ways. I don't think that we look at other
- 6:09Speaker 1: people and say, you know, what. You're more confident because
- 6:12Speaker 1: you're actually doing X, Y and Z, you're in your purpose.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But what I just heard you say is no, you
- 6:19Speaker 1: did it in the small things. You did it about,
- 6:21Speaker 1: like the leading of the Holy Spirit and trusting what
- 6:23Speaker 1: you heard to go tell somebody, Hey, I know you're
- 6:25Speaker 1: suposed to be in my life. I don't know what
- 6:26Speaker 1: it's supposed to be, but I know what I just heard,
- 6:29Speaker 1: and I'm just trusting what I just heard.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Because confidence starts as a seed, it doesn't start as
- 6:35Speaker 5: the full manifestation. So I'm sure when you got in
- 6:38Speaker 5: the car, you had to have confidence. When you closed
- 6:41Speaker 5: the door, you had to have confidence. When you drove
- 6:43Speaker 5: up to the building, you had to have confidence. When
- 6:45Speaker 5: you opened your mouth, you had to have confidence. So
- 6:47Speaker 5: the confidence was being built from the time you heard
- 6:51Speaker 5: from the Lord and crunk the car up.
- 6:53Speaker 3: That's when the confidence started.
- 6:54Speaker 5: It didn't start when everything started as far as ministry
- 6:58Speaker 5: and support and being a number two traveling all over
- 7:00Speaker 5: the country. That is not when confidence started. Confidence started
- 7:03Speaker 5: when you heard the voice of the Lord and you
- 7:06Speaker 5: crumpd the kara and said I will go despite knowing
- 7:09Speaker 5: how things were going to go, and along the way.
- 7:11Speaker 3: You face so many.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Oppositions, correction, growth, all of these things. But look at
- 7:15Speaker 5: where the Lord has taken you in just a short
- 7:17Speaker 5: time for you continuing to follow the voice of God.
- 7:20Speaker 5: And so many times we want the full manifestation without
- 7:24Speaker 5: having to go through the trials and tribulations, the bumps,
- 7:26Speaker 5: the bruises, the corrections, the deep disappointments.
- 7:30Speaker 3: All of that builds the person that you see in
- 7:32Speaker 3: the future.
- 7:33Speaker 5: So you see a preview and then you see the
- 7:36Speaker 5: manifestation later and it feels like, why did it take
- 7:39Speaker 5: so long? This is the appropriate amount of time. You're
- 7:41Speaker 5: exactly where you're supposed to be, exactly how you're supposed
- 7:44Speaker 5: to be. And I'm so proud of all the work
- 7:45Speaker 5: that you continue to do because you could have given up, caveden,
- 7:48Speaker 5: and quit a long time ago, but you didn't. You
- 7:50Speaker 5: saw yourself as a leader in the entrepreneurial space, making
- 7:54Speaker 5: safe spaces for other leaders, and that is a huge,
- 7:57Speaker 5: huge opportunity. And look at where it's taking you. Like
- 8:00Speaker 5: you've interviewed national guests, you talked to national people. The
- 8:04Speaker 5: future governor of the Alabama can't wait to talk to you.
- 8:07Speaker 3: That's all because you stay faithful.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I think. I think what you're saying is so powerful.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It's Danita and I this confidence word is is is there?
- 8:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna dig in Dialelrey you hear you hear this
- 8:20Speaker 1: confidence word is there? So I wonder what your confidence
- 8:24Speaker 1: journey has been like. Have you always been bold like?
- 8:27Speaker 1: Because misdeeda you're bold like. And I think for me,
- 8:31Speaker 1: what what makes me appreciate you is like you'll say
- 8:35Speaker 1: stuff like you'll pray Heaven down and then say I
- 8:38Speaker 1: dance like I'm not a black girl.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Like you'll say You'll say that, and then you you're.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Just it's fine, Like you're just as cool, calm and collected,
- 8:48Speaker 1: and it's like, just know the knowing of you. You
- 8:52Speaker 1: digested yourself in a way to where you're unapologetically you.
- 8:55Speaker 1: And I think a lot of us, especially us women,
- 9:00Speaker 1: like that thing tears us up if we are not
- 9:04Speaker 1: comfortable in an area because perfectionism comparison all that good stuff.
- 9:09Speaker 1: So I wonder what your confidence journey has looked like
- 9:12Speaker 1: and how you were able.
- 9:13Speaker 2: To get to the point where you are right now.
- 9:18Speaker 2: So one of the.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Things that's absolutely true about confidence.
- 9:24Speaker 5: One of the things that's absolutely true about confidence is
- 9:27Speaker 5: that it shows up in the beginning as a seed,
- 9:30Speaker 5: but it's manifested through action. So for example, when I
- 9:34Speaker 5: was a child, I was bold and I would say
- 9:36Speaker 5: what I wanted.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I did what I wanted.
- 9:38Speaker 5: But then as I became an adult and other people
- 9:41Speaker 5: told me who I should be, then I started to
- 9:43Speaker 5: listen to their words and their perspective they're understanding and
- 9:47Speaker 5: what they had to offer. And it was never what
- 9:49Speaker 5: God said. God never said any of those things. And
- 9:52Speaker 5: so one of the things I have to do.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Hold on, hold on.
- 10:01Speaker 5: One of the things I have to do is I
- 10:03Speaker 5: have to constantly tell my mind what to think and
- 10:05Speaker 5: how to think, because it still comes up. The other day,
- 10:09Speaker 5: I was working on something and I'm in the middle
- 10:10Speaker 5: of a prayer challenge with a group of women, and
- 10:13Speaker 5: the enemy just said, oh, you're not smart enough to
- 10:16Speaker 5: do this, and I was like, Oh, that's not my thoughts,
- 10:18Speaker 5: that's a lie.
- 10:19Speaker 3: And so constantly going against what's the constant lie in
- 10:22Speaker 3: your life?
- 10:23Speaker 5: When you are bold, the constant lie has to be
- 10:26Speaker 5: you're not good enough, you're not smart enough, because it
- 10:29Speaker 5: has to come up against what you believe and what
- 10:31Speaker 5: is true about you. And so the very fact that
- 10:34Speaker 5: those thoughts come up shows you how strong you actually are.
- 10:37Speaker 3: They wouldn't come if you were weak in that area.
- 10:40Speaker 5: The thoughts about I never think about building a space
- 10:44Speaker 5: station because I have no confidence in that area. Right,
- 10:47Speaker 5: it never comes up because it's not something I've been
- 10:49Speaker 5: assigned to do. But I do have thoughts against Ooh
- 10:52Speaker 5: should I be speaking? Should I speak out? Because I've
- 10:54Speaker 5: been assigned to do that. So the confidence has to
- 10:57Speaker 5: be attacked on what I've been assigned to do that
- 11:00Speaker 5: I'm not assigned to do. So the opportunity of the
- 11:02Speaker 5: enemy is to tell you can't when you absolutely can't.
- 11:06Speaker 3: It has to let you know that you can't do
- 11:08Speaker 3: what you've been assigned to do. That's his job.
- 11:11Speaker 5: One of my spiritual mentors, he always says, we talk
- 11:14Speaker 5: about people who are scammers, and he was.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Like, Oh, that's their job. They're supposed to be scamming.
- 11:18Speaker 3: That's what they're supposed to be doing.
- 11:19Speaker 5: So people who are supposed to come up against you,
- 11:21Speaker 5: they're supposed to tell you, oh, no you can't, Oh
- 11:23Speaker 5: no you're not sparing, No you're not good enough. And
- 11:25Speaker 5: that's what comes against who you already are is trying
- 11:28Speaker 5: to come against your identity one goal.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 11:32Speaker 1: So what I just heard you say, you said, you
- 11:34Speaker 1: said a lot. You said, you said a lot. What
- 11:38Speaker 1: what I just heard you say, Miss Danita, was that
- 11:42Speaker 1: if you didn't have anything in the area of where
- 11:46Speaker 1: you feel probably the most confident come and attack you,
- 11:50Speaker 1: then there's nothing there for you for you to fulfill.
- 11:54Speaker 1: And I think that for me myself, I can only
- 11:59Speaker 1: see myself going back to the idea of I can
- 12:02Speaker 1: only see myself as the number two, right, I can
- 12:07Speaker 1: only see myself as the number two.
- 12:09Speaker 2: And a conversation comes.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Up when we were in Tennessee, when we were in
- 12:15Speaker 1: Tennessee and it was just me, you and Coach, and
- 12:19Speaker 1: you were giving me the understanding of knowing the different
- 12:23Speaker 1: positions of people in my life. I want us to
- 12:26Speaker 1: go over there because I think it's important because it's
- 12:29Speaker 1: also a reflection of how do I resonate with who
- 12:33Speaker 1: I am in other people's life. And I think that
- 12:35Speaker 1: also kind of could come against our companies because we
- 12:38Speaker 1: don't know who we are and we don't our position.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Thank you Holy Spirit, our position helps us understand the
- 12:46Speaker 1: assignment and what we need to do in the assignment.
- 12:48Speaker 1: That was like one of the best things I could
- 12:51Speaker 1: have learned from you in the time I've known you.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Do you recall what I'm referring to?
- 12:57Speaker 3: Yes, yes, I remember that morning.
- 12:59Speaker 5: So what I find out it's a lot of times
- 13:00Speaker 5: when especially women in ministry, when we have something we love,
- 13:04Speaker 5: we put our whole hearts into it, like we go
- 13:06Speaker 5: all the way in and so sometimes we're looking for
- 13:09Speaker 5: the whole of our joy right there right to in
- 13:11Speaker 5: our service and connect it to who we serve, how
- 13:14Speaker 5: we serve in our church and that kind of stuff.
- 13:16Speaker 5: And if you don't have the protection of the layers
- 13:18Speaker 5: of people who are supposed to be a sign in
- 13:20Speaker 5: your life, you will get distracted by what God assigns
- 13:23Speaker 5: you to do in one area and not fulfilled in
- 13:26Speaker 5: other areas. So at the time when I saw I
- 13:28Speaker 5: was like this budding young woman who's so passionate about ministry,
- 13:32Speaker 5: so passionate about the same things of God, I was like, Oh,
- 13:34Speaker 5: you need friends, I said, you need somebody who like
- 13:37Speaker 5: you can just totally be yourself and like there's no
- 13:40Speaker 5: hold back. You're not like pouring in, you're not looking up,
- 13:43Speaker 5: You're just like I'm a mess today and like do
- 13:46Speaker 5: you love me?
- 13:46Speaker 3: And you also need mentors.
- 13:48Speaker 5: Mentors see the best in you and they can pull
- 13:50Speaker 5: it out and they can propel you for it because
- 13:52Speaker 5: it's already there. Then you also need a voice as
- 13:56Speaker 5: a spiritual protection and direction because what that does it
- 13:59Speaker 5: keeps your spirit in line with what.
- 14:01Speaker 3: The Word of God says.
- 14:02Speaker 5: So you absolutely need someone who could speak into your spirit.
- 14:05Speaker 5: And then you also need someone who can challenge you.
- 14:08Speaker 5: And they may not be your mentor, and it might
- 14:10Speaker 5: not be your coach, but you need someone who can
- 14:12Speaker 5: look at you and say, oh, no, yeah, we need
- 14:15Speaker 5: to do this A, B and C.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Because this is not.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Excellence in your life. And I believe more for you
- 14:20Speaker 5: and I'm all of that. And even at the time
- 14:22Speaker 5: from a physical standpoint, you were going through a weight
- 14:25Speaker 5: loss transformation. As soon as you got them other people
- 14:27Speaker 5: in your life, boom, everything was gone. You were like
- 14:30Speaker 5: so aligned because it was already in you to manifest
- 14:34Speaker 5: those great things. But having the right people around you
- 14:37Speaker 5: helps create even more greatness. And when we look for
- 14:41Speaker 5: the whole of our joy just in a few people,
- 14:43Speaker 5: what it does it.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Shrinks our vision for what God can do in our lives.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Because we start to mimic the people we love, and
- 14:49Speaker 5: that mimic it's good to a certain point because you're
- 14:52Speaker 5: supposed to mimic as you grow, but then you don't
- 14:55Speaker 5: get your own voice. And I'm so proud of what
- 14:57Speaker 5: I've seen you gathering and create and in your own voice,
- 15:01Speaker 5: in your own way, because if you were still doing
- 15:03Speaker 5: what you were doing, we would never have gotten opportunities
- 15:05Speaker 5: that you had in front of you. And it's because
- 15:07Speaker 5: you are bold enough to trust the Lord with your
- 15:10Speaker 5: whole life.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so to tag onto that. And let me just
- 15:13Speaker 2: make this very clear.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'm using my what she has seen in my life
- 15:17Speaker 1: as an example, not the conversation, because we're getting into
- 15:19Speaker 1: the intelligence to the intelligence of Anita Ascott, because I.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Want you all to know the the.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Oil that I've received and how it's helped me, because
- 15:29Speaker 1: I think this is so important. So how do you
- 15:31Speaker 1: know when it's time to transition from two to one?
- 15:35Speaker 2: The number two to number one? And what does that
- 15:37Speaker 2: look like?
- 15:39Speaker 5: Usually people who are number ones attract number ones to themselves, right,
- 15:44Speaker 5: and so a person who if you're serving a number one,
- 15:48Speaker 5: usually you have number one qualities in you because you
- 15:50Speaker 5: can see visions, You can execute tasks, you can create
- 15:55Speaker 5: protection for that vision that you've been assigned to, you
- 15:58Speaker 5: can expand you have intelligence, you have direction, and you
- 16:03Speaker 5: trust the Lord. So you already have all those things
- 16:05Speaker 5: in you. And so one of the ways you know
- 16:08Speaker 5: is time for you to grow is that in what
- 16:10Speaker 5: you do that you're a master and it's easy for
- 16:12Speaker 5: you to do it and it doesn't take any courage
- 16:15Speaker 5: for you to do it. And then number two, usually
- 16:17Speaker 5: what happens is that you start to feel like even
- 16:21Speaker 5: though you're excellent and great at what you do and
- 16:23Speaker 5: you love it so much and you can't imagine not
- 16:26Speaker 5: doing it, God still calls to your heart for something greater.
- 16:29Speaker 5: You still feel an itch in a burn. Or he
- 16:32Speaker 5: can surprise and delight you and say, oh, now it's
- 16:34Speaker 5: your receiving day. Because there are stories where suddenly you
- 16:38Speaker 5: are promoted. If we look back in the Bible and
- 16:40Speaker 5: we look at Moses and Aaron, when Aaron was still
- 16:42Speaker 5: grieving the loss of Moses, God said, Moses, my servant
- 16:46Speaker 5: is dead.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So your past is dead. Everything you thought was going
- 16:49Speaker 1: to be is dead. It's your time to ride.
- 16:51Speaker 5: And so even though he was in a Number two
- 16:53Speaker 5: position being prepared to be number one. Sometimes God needs
- 16:57Speaker 5: to do it suddenly so that you move forward without
- 16:59Speaker 5: hinderance of any kind.
- 17:01Speaker 6: That's oh my, look, but don't look at me.
- 17:12Speaker 2: What you just heard?
- 17:16Speaker 1: So this the so what I heard her say is
- 17:19Speaker 1: and I and I and I hear this. Sometimes you
- 17:20Speaker 1: attract who you are, right. So if you are, like
- 17:24Speaker 1: she said, if you are number one, typically you're gonna
- 17:26Speaker 1: attract number ones to you. But sometimes I think timing
- 17:29Speaker 1: get is perfect. And because when you begin to align
- 17:32Speaker 1: with the call of the Lord on your life, he
- 17:35Speaker 1: will place you in spaces and places to be able
- 17:37Speaker 1: to cultivate you and to grow you and to prune
- 17:39Speaker 1: you into who he's already called you to be. Right.
- 17:42Speaker 2: So that's why it's important that.
- 17:44Speaker 1: We understand our identity in him, because sometimes when we
- 17:50Speaker 1: get in and I can only speak for myself, but
- 17:52Speaker 1: the Lord has placed me in spaces and places with
- 17:54Speaker 1: some amazing people. Yeah right, And and when I got
- 17:57Speaker 1: into those spaces, I'm kind of like, dangn Lord, I
- 18:00Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know why I'm here. I don't
- 18:02Speaker 1: mean like well I'm doing I don't know why I'm here.
- 18:04Speaker 1: But as I begin to just grow closer to the Lord.
- 18:07Speaker 1: He just begin to speak into me who I am
- 18:09Speaker 1: and why I'm in those spaces. So if we mismanaged,
- 18:12Speaker 1: miss subscribe, prescribe the place that people are in our lives,
- 18:18Speaker 1: it can not allow us to receive the full benefit
- 18:22Speaker 1: of being in that space. Right. So you, Jess and
- 18:26Speaker 1: I we talked like early on when we started connecting,
- 18:28Speaker 1: we had an honest conversation like I'm a little intimidated
- 18:31Speaker 1: because I don't I don't do this like you do this, right,
- 18:34Speaker 1: or I'm not like I don't do this like you
- 18:36Speaker 1: do this. But as we just begin to really do
- 18:38Speaker 1: relationship and really lean into the Lord, we're like, oh,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm not supposed to do it like you. You know
- 18:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Like the Lord has called each of
- 18:46Speaker 1: us to a thing, but he's also called us into
- 18:48Speaker 1: something together. And if we didn't take the time to
- 18:51Speaker 1: really to really allow the relationship to do iron shopping
- 18:55Speaker 1: the iron, right, that's exactly what that one in one
- 18:58Speaker 1: does until the time that that the next person is
- 19:03Speaker 1: supposed to step into the space that they're supposed to step into. You.
- 19:05Speaker 2: So this is this is that when she was talking,
- 19:07Speaker 2: I was like oh lord, all right down here, you
- 19:08Speaker 2: know that that is?
- 19:10Speaker 1: That is y'all are talking so good, Like I think
- 19:13Speaker 1: it's important even if at this time what's coming up
- 19:16Speaker 1: is like the person that is serving as a number
- 19:20Speaker 1: two right now that's transitioning to number one. I think
- 19:24Speaker 1: for me and I think I can speak to this,
- 19:26Speaker 1: miss Daneeda, and I need you to help us out
- 19:28Speaker 1: because you you got the sauce. You got the sauce
- 19:32Speaker 1: with with how you've been.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Able to help your your clients.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Make define and get language for what it is they're
- 19:43Speaker 1: supposed to do.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Because a lot of number ones.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Are multifaceted, like they don't They're not just good at
- 19:49Speaker 1: one thing. So how do we settle on have a
- 19:52Speaker 1: focal point of this is what I mainly offer, right,
- 19:56Speaker 1: this is what I'm known for. This is what I
- 19:57Speaker 1: can do and then be able to attach a course
- 20:02Speaker 1: with a price tag on it. You get what I'm saying,
- 20:04Speaker 1: Like I think for me, I would love to do
- 20:06Speaker 1: a course. I would I would love to, you know,
- 20:08Speaker 1: do something within this.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I'm like, should I do this?
- 20:11Speaker 1: Because they doing like it's sometimes I just like I
- 20:14Speaker 1: don't know, I don't know, So help help us those start.
- 20:19Speaker 3: So one of the.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Simplest ways whenever I'm working with new creators, I ask
- 20:23Speaker 1: them what do people ask you about all the time? Right?
- 20:26Speaker 3: So, Jess, I'm sure people ask you how do you
- 20:28Speaker 3: start a podcast? Or how do you do this?
- 20:30Speaker 5: Or how do you and that is the answer to
- 20:33Speaker 5: their question. So the more you show up in your
- 20:35Speaker 5: excellence what you love to do, people will start asking you, well,
- 20:39Speaker 5: how do you I mean they may be asking you
- 20:41Speaker 5: how do you run a business full time and work
- 20:44Speaker 5: full time? How do you desiate come up with too
- 20:47Speaker 5: much creativity and innovation? And you can show up as
- 20:51Speaker 5: a podcast record.
- 20:52Speaker 3: You can also show up as a You can also
- 20:56Speaker 3: show up a ministry.
- 20:58Speaker 5: You can show up as a photographer, can show up
- 21:00Speaker 5: as a hairdresser. And when people start asking you questions,
- 21:03Speaker 5: that's where your wealth is. There are questions about your
- 21:06Speaker 5: gift and your assignment. That is where your money is.
- 21:09Speaker 5: It's right there because that's what they're willing to pay for.
- 21:12Speaker 5: We live in an instantaneous world now right you can
- 21:14Speaker 5: google anything, But are you googling directions that are going
- 21:17Speaker 5: to be accountable for what you're great at? Are you
- 21:20Speaker 5: googling or chat gpten directions to help enhance your brilliance.
- 21:25Speaker 5: The other day, I was working with one of my
- 21:26Speaker 5: clients and they were one to create something new. They
- 21:31Speaker 5: were wanted to create something new, and in that creation process,
- 21:34Speaker 5: I was asking them questions like, Okay, so we've done this,
- 21:37Speaker 5: we've done that, and we've done this. Have you done A,
- 21:39Speaker 5: B and C. Chat doesn't know them, so it can't
- 21:41Speaker 5: ask that question. It thinks it does, but it can't
- 21:45Speaker 5: because if someone doesn't know you, they also don't know
- 21:48Speaker 5: your strengths. Jess, it would be so fun and easy
- 21:51Speaker 5: for you to help people to be able to develop
- 21:54Speaker 5: and create community.
- 21:55Speaker 3: You're so great at that.
- 21:57Speaker 5: You're so talented and gifted and creating community and being
- 22:03Speaker 5: able to make people feel safe and feel good. There
- 22:06Speaker 5: is more value for people being together now than ever
- 22:09Speaker 5: before because AI cannot take the place of this conversation.
- 22:13Speaker 2: That's so good man.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You bring up a You bring up a powerful point
- 22:20Speaker 1: of like the relationship with AI, Like there's a lot
- 22:23Speaker 1: of that.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I think AI is good for what AI is good for, but.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I also think that there is a lot of there
- 22:32Speaker 1: are a lot of people cutting don't I don't Maybe
- 22:36Speaker 1: I shouldn't call it cutting corners, but replacing human connection
- 22:41Speaker 1: with technical translation. And I think that we correct me
- 22:50Speaker 1: and Ron, I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I think that we have found ourselves disconnected from even
- 22:56Speaker 1: ourselves in the human transaction because that and that kind
- 23:01Speaker 1: of defeats confidence as well as.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Like, well, AI is able to do it quicker. AI
- 23:07Speaker 2: is able to.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Resolve the matter and give us an idea open up.
- 23:14Speaker 1: You know, these different avenues of and streamlines of thinking,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and it's like we're competing, like it's it's really it's
- 23:23Speaker 1: really you get what I'm trying to say, doesn't really
- 23:25Speaker 1: like it's like we're competing for our value?
- 23:29Speaker 2: What what are you? What are your thoughts on that?
- 23:33Speaker 1: So I think it's a powerful tool. It's absolutely necessary.
- 23:36Speaker 5: It's not going away, So we can't not embrace it,
- 23:39Speaker 5: but we have to understand its purpose and its portion
- 23:41Speaker 5: and why it's there. It is not there to compete
- 23:44Speaker 5: or compare with any human relationship. It's not there to
- 23:48Speaker 5: take the place of what human fellowship can do. And
- 23:52Speaker 5: it's also I think going to drive people to be
- 23:54Speaker 5: more connected on a personal level.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Because without it, like who are we as humans?
- 24:00Speaker 5: And so it's so necessary to use the tools that
- 24:04Speaker 5: are available to us, and I'm one hundred percent for them,
- 24:07Speaker 5: but not to replace them with connection, not to replace
- 24:10Speaker 5: them with belonging, and not to replace them with just
- 24:12Speaker 5: being able to have an honest conversation with someone who's
- 24:15Speaker 5: not gonna always agree with you or not see the
- 24:17Speaker 5: best in you or the worst in you. That it
- 24:20Speaker 5: can't see the worst in you in the way that
- 24:22Speaker 5: someone else can. Yeah, So that's why I think what
- 24:25Speaker 5: you do is even more important right now, especially in
- 24:28Speaker 5: the society that we're walking towards.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, because it's it's some distance. It's it's it's
- 24:34Speaker 2: definitely some distance. So I want to take I want
- 24:36Speaker 2: to I want the people to get to know the Nata.
- 24:39Speaker 1: And I'm curious. Let's start, let's start. Let's start here.
- 24:43Speaker 1: How did how did you even get into.
- 24:45Speaker 2: The space of.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Saying I want to help people build courses? Is that
- 24:51Speaker 1: your first was that your first entrepreneur? Leg or have
- 24:55Speaker 1: you always been a course builder?
- 24:59Speaker 3: No?
- 24:59Speaker 5: I hadn't, So when I became an entrepreneur, it was
- 25:02Speaker 5: really out of necessity. So in twenty thirteen, my dad
- 25:07Speaker 5: started to get really sick, and so when he began
- 25:11Speaker 5: to be really sick. I had to start taking time
- 25:13Speaker 5: off from work. And so I had a boss and
- 25:16Speaker 5: she was really nice. I had never really taken any vacation.
- 25:19Speaker 5: I think the last time I had taken a vacation
- 25:21Speaker 5: was in twenty fourteen. So I had probably one hundred
- 25:24Speaker 5: and fifty hours at work, and so I took off
- 25:26Speaker 5: three days.
- 25:27Speaker 3: And in the three days I took.
- 25:29Speaker 5: Off, I had all these calls from all these big
- 25:32Speaker 5: people up top. My dad was in Acoma in the hospital,
- 25:35Speaker 5: and I was just like When I came back, my
- 25:37Speaker 5: boss was like, Oh, yeah, you're gonna have to take
- 25:39Speaker 5: fmla if you want to take more time off.
- 25:41Speaker 3: I had probably one hundred and fifty hours a vacation time.
- 25:44Speaker 5: I said, what you're not gonna do today, tomorrow, or ever,
- 25:46Speaker 5: and tell me how I can spend time with my
- 25:48Speaker 5: family when I have the time.
- 25:49Speaker 3: So in that moment, I made the decision.
- 25:51Speaker 5: I said, if my mom ever needs me, and she
- 25:53Speaker 5: had never been sick in her life, I said, if
- 25:55Speaker 5: she ever needs me, I'm going to be there.
- 25:57Speaker 3: I'm going to be present.
- 25:58Speaker 5: And so I decided for my birthday the next year
- 26:02Speaker 5: to quit my job. For my birthday, which don't do that.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Don't do that, don't do that.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Don't get so excited about the little guy that you
- 26:14Speaker 1: quit your job for your birthday as a present.
- 26:16Speaker 3: And so my mom was.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Always very supportive, but she wasn't the kind of support
- 26:19Speaker 5: where she was gonna put her money with it. So
- 26:21Speaker 5: she said, you can do anything you want to do,
- 26:23Speaker 5: just as long as you don't ask me for anything.
- 26:24Speaker 3: That say okay. So but shortly after that my dad
- 26:29Speaker 3: passed away.
- 26:29Speaker 5: I moved back home to support her because she had
- 26:32Speaker 5: been married for fifty years almost so she just needed
- 26:35Speaker 5: some support and some everyday things. And so once I
- 26:38Speaker 5: moved back home to support her, after I quit my job,
- 26:41Speaker 5: I put God at his word. I hired a coach
- 26:44Speaker 5: and it was the cost of a car back then,
- 26:46Speaker 5: like it was very expensive.
- 26:49Speaker 3: And in that hiring I hadn't made no money back.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Everybody else I knew they had made a money back,
- 26:53Speaker 1: money back, bundy back, money back.
- 26:54Speaker 5: And now I'm sitill up here like, oh, what's happening.
- 26:57Speaker 5: And so after just experiencing so much loss and so
- 27:02Speaker 5: much feeling frustrated financially, I said, Lord, if you show
- 27:05Speaker 5: me how to do this, I'll show your people, and
- 27:07Speaker 5: so I reached out to a couple of people that
- 27:09Speaker 5: I knew, and I was already kind of on social
- 27:12Speaker 5: media just a little bit talking about it.
- 27:14Speaker 3: I had a class with.
- 27:14Speaker 5: Six people, and one of the persons I counseled she
- 27:17Speaker 5: had a course and I was like, Okay, we'll do this,
- 27:20Speaker 5: do this, and do that, and then tell me how
- 27:22Speaker 5: it works. She did it, and about twenty hours she
- 27:26Speaker 5: had made seven grand I.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Was like, Oh, I think I know what I'm doing.
- 27:29Speaker 3: And so with.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Two days she had made ten thousand dollars. I was like, oh,
- 27:35Speaker 1: I think I know what I'm doing.
- 27:36Speaker 5: And so that you did it for free for her, No,
- 27:39Speaker 5: she paid like one hundred dollars like nothing, like literally nothing,
- 27:44Speaker 5: and so it bore a business in her where she
- 27:48Speaker 5: was able to impact so many people. And so that
- 27:53Speaker 5: in that opportunity, I had not done that for myself yet, right, So,
- 27:56Speaker 5: like I had charged people basically nothing just to show them.
- 28:00Speaker 3: And so once I.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Started working with people who already had audiences, they love
- 28:05Speaker 5: being able to help people, and they just wanted to
- 28:07Speaker 5: be able to help them at a deeper level, then
- 28:09Speaker 5: we just created systems around that to be able to
- 28:12Speaker 5: do that. And it was so fun watching people see
- 28:15Speaker 5: their dreams come trip. One of my clients she have
- 28:18Speaker 5: followed my directions. I was like, do these three things?
- 28:20Speaker 5: So I told her to make a list to reach
- 28:22Speaker 5: out to this many people in this timeframe, and she
- 28:25Speaker 5: only listened to two of the five directions. Within twenty
- 28:28Speaker 5: four hours she had made four three hundred and twenty
- 28:31Speaker 5: four dollars.
- 28:32Speaker 3: And she was like, Oh my gosh, what if I
- 28:33Speaker 3: really listened to you exactly?
- 28:37Speaker 1: So do you remember the five are the Are these
- 28:41Speaker 1: lists cultivated for that individual or do you have a consistent,
- 28:46Speaker 1: consistent strategy that people.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Adhere to when it comes to courses.
- 28:54Speaker 5: So, because technology has changed so much and there is
- 28:57Speaker 5: just so much opportunity now for us to do things
- 29:00Speaker 5: like we used to. You have so much help from
- 29:03Speaker 5: like AI and technology. I'm not not embracing it. But
- 29:06Speaker 5: the core part of creation does not change. Just like
- 29:10Speaker 5: guy said, let there be like there is a core
- 29:12Speaker 5: part of creation.
- 29:13Speaker 3: The core part of.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Creation is understanding what you want to do and who
- 29:17Speaker 5: wants to buy it. If you want to, you know,
- 29:20Speaker 5: create something that no one wants to buy. I'm not
- 29:22Speaker 5: telling you not to create it. I'm just saying I
- 29:23Speaker 5: don't expect no money from it, So you have to
- 29:25Speaker 5: be doing something that has a demand in the marketplace.
- 29:29Speaker 5: The second part, that's a pillar that's no matter what,
- 29:31Speaker 5: someone has to want to hear from you, or you're
- 29:33Speaker 5: gonna have to make yourself available so that they can
- 29:36Speaker 5: hear from you. Because if nobody knows you, they cannot buy.
- 29:39Speaker 5: So that's core. That doesn't matter what chat cannot help
- 29:42Speaker 5: you create that, well it can, but like you're gonna
- 29:46Speaker 5: have to spend time, money at first, resources regardless either
- 29:50Speaker 5: way it goes. And then the next core part is
- 29:53Speaker 5: being able to deliver value in a way that people
- 29:55Speaker 5: can sustain and recreate over and over and over again.
- 29:59Speaker 3: And so so those things don't change.
- 30:01Speaker 5: The technology how you access people, whether you do on Instagram,
- 30:04Speaker 5: in person, through products and services.
- 30:06Speaker 3: That will always shift.
- 30:08Speaker 5: But if you don't have something that somebody wants, it
- 30:10Speaker 5: doesn't matter how smart you are, it doesn't matter how
- 30:12Speaker 5: brilliant you are. Your first part is what am I
- 30:15Speaker 5: creating that somebody actually wants?
- 30:19Speaker 2: You brought up the demand of a thing, how do
- 30:22Speaker 2: we measure that?
- 30:25Speaker 5: So demand can be measured in multiple ways. One of
- 30:28Speaker 5: the most simple ways I was talking to someone the
- 30:31Speaker 5: other day and she wanted to create a curriculum for
- 30:35Speaker 5: she's a pastor and she wanted to create curriculum for
- 30:37Speaker 5: prayer for another church.
- 30:39Speaker 3: And I was like, well, I wouldn't create the curriculum.
- 30:41Speaker 3: She was like why.
- 30:42Speaker 5: I said, I would get the people first, because without
- 30:45Speaker 5: the people, it doesn't matter.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:48Speaker 5: So she was like, okay, well, I have about forty
- 30:51Speaker 5: people who follow me and they say they want something.
- 30:53Speaker 5: I said, that's way more than enough. That's way way
- 30:56Speaker 5: more than enough. The first time I made a salary
- 30:58Speaker 5: in a day, I made it the email us of
- 31:00Speaker 5: two hundred people. So you don't need a lot of people.
- 31:04Speaker 5: You just need people who are willing to hear from
- 31:06Speaker 5: you and who want what you have. So it's not
- 31:10Speaker 5: about quantity, it's about really it's about service in that way,
- 31:13Speaker 5: I really view sales as a service onto yourself, as
- 31:16Speaker 5: a service unto the community.
- 31:18Speaker 3: And when you are serving, you cannot lose.
- 31:21Speaker 5: And so in knowing that service part of sales that
- 31:25Speaker 5: if you're serving from a heart of excellence and you're
- 31:27Speaker 5: charging what is in the marketplace, people will buy. And
- 31:31Speaker 5: even now when things have changed so much, there are
- 31:34Speaker 5: people still absolutely willing to buy things that align with
- 31:37Speaker 5: their values, their goals, and their needs and that help
- 31:40Speaker 5: them to reach it faster.
- 31:43Speaker 2: That I think my brain my brain has like five.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Questions the same time because you're talking, You're talking good,
- 31:50Speaker 1: and I'm really really learning, so I will I will
- 31:53Speaker 1: say this, missd Needa. And in the world that we
- 31:56Speaker 1: have been people, it seems like a lot of people
- 31:58Speaker 1: have courses. And it's almost from what I hear other
- 32:04Speaker 1: people talk about, right, because the courses I've been through
- 32:07Speaker 1: have been pretty solid, right, But I've heard some horror
- 32:11Speaker 1: story yes horror no, yes, do you not necessarily a
- 32:17Speaker 1: horror story in specifically, But because I'm still growing and
- 32:22Speaker 1: learning myself, I learned that I'm a knowledge junkie, right,
- 32:26Speaker 1: meaning I need I don't know enough, so I gotta
- 32:28Speaker 1: go get the next, the next course, next thing. So
- 32:30Speaker 1: I've I've purchased quite a few things and some of
- 32:34Speaker 1: them were really have helped. But then also some of
- 32:38Speaker 1: them was like, yeah, you just put this together just
- 32:41Speaker 1: because to get the money kind of thing.
- 32:43Speaker 2: It was.
- 32:43Speaker 1: It was no real little substance kind. So to that part,
- 32:47Speaker 1: mister Nita, how do we and you you take a
- 32:51Speaker 1: new clients because we don't have to, you know, I.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Know, I know.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Look, we are you taking so we can when we
- 32:58Speaker 1: put this out the clear, you're taking a glance. Okay, cool,
- 33:02Speaker 1: So when you what's the one thing that you tell
- 33:07Speaker 1: your clients that is a must so it won't feel
- 33:11Speaker 1: like that for the consumer Like I'm here, but I
- 33:14Speaker 1: feel like I'm left hanging.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I feel like I am like I didn't.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I won't even just say it wasn't no value because
- 33:21Speaker 1: it could be value value there.
- 33:23Speaker 2: But it's almost like, but this was a money thing.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I could have youtubed this and I could have you
- 33:27Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like I think in my mind,
- 33:31Speaker 1: for me.
- 33:33Speaker 2: People ask me about podcasting.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Okay, I know people ask me about podcasting, but also
- 33:38Speaker 1: people ask my mentor about podcasting, and YouTube has thousands
- 33:43Speaker 1: of people.
- 33:44Speaker 2: That talk about podcasting.
- 33:45Speaker 1: So in my mind, I'm like, I'm trying to wrap
- 33:49Speaker 1: her around the idea of adding myself to the pack.
- 33:56Speaker 5: So that sounds like the gift and calling that God
- 33:59Speaker 5: has given me. You're not trusting it enough to loop
- 34:01Speaker 5: it forward and how He's assigned you to do it
- 34:04Speaker 5: because there's no one that can do it, like Jessica.
- 34:06Speaker 5: There might be thousands of people out there doing it
- 34:08Speaker 5: and they are your competition, but they're not you. They
- 34:12Speaker 5: don't have your heart, they don't have your spirit, and
- 34:13Speaker 5: they don't have your results. Because you have to think
- 34:18Speaker 5: about it without all the fancy things people said you
- 34:21Speaker 5: were supposed to have. You were able to capture the
- 34:23Speaker 5: attention of national guests. Who does that?
- 34:27Speaker 3: That's something that people want to know. How do you
- 34:30Speaker 3: do that? How do you stand up for your calling?
- 34:32Speaker 5: And how do you go on national platforms and get
- 34:35Speaker 5: national guests? That's something you can do that other people can,
- 34:38Speaker 5: and so in that it is it's a trust issue.
- 34:41Speaker 5: The biggest thing that you're seeing out there now is
- 34:43Speaker 5: that because there was an age where everybody was seeking information,
- 34:46Speaker 5: they still are that. You saw so many opportunities for
- 34:49Speaker 5: people to put up slop and it barely worked, and
- 34:52Speaker 5: so you know, you're like, none of this stuff works.
- 34:54Speaker 3: No, that's not true.
- 34:56Speaker 5: There are people out there who are hustling, like they
- 34:58Speaker 5: will always be people who are hustling. And there are
- 35:00Speaker 5: people out there who are sincere like you, who are
- 35:03Speaker 5: willing to change people's lives and ready to change people's
- 35:05Speaker 5: lives and are not going to hold back. And so
- 35:08Speaker 5: a lot of times people who are sincere they're quiet,
- 35:11Speaker 5: and the people who are audacious they're alloud and we
- 35:13Speaker 5: think they're the same people.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Ooh and they're not.
- 35:17Speaker 2: That was good. Oh that was a bar. Oh oh
- 35:24Speaker 2: that was that was a bar. That was a bar.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Need be having bars, bro, mister ded be having bars.
- 35:30Speaker 1: So my okay, So you've been an entrepreneur, like you said,
- 35:34Speaker 1: for for a while.
- 35:35Speaker 2: You've made a lot of people money.
- 35:37Speaker 1: But you but you brought up the fact that there
- 35:40Speaker 1: was one instance to where you use your your email,
- 35:44Speaker 1: your email list of.
- 35:46Speaker 2: You said two hundred people to make X amount of money.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Can you walk us through that process and how you
- 35:52Speaker 1: got there, because I think there's a disconnect and we
- 35:55Speaker 1: just recently talked to one of our good friends, Steve,
- 35:59Speaker 1: about how believers see money and their relationship with money and.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Not value valuing.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Ourselves enough to attain or obtain the financial wealth that
- 36:13Speaker 1: God has has available to us.
- 36:17Speaker 2: So can you walk us through that journey?
- 36:20Speaker 3: Yeah? So it was actually really simple.
- 36:23Speaker 5: So what I did was I told people I had
- 36:25Speaker 5: a challenge, and I let them know about the challenge.
- 36:28Speaker 5: I had about one hundred and fifty people to sign
- 36:30Speaker 5: up for it, and whenever you have sign ups, everybody
- 36:33Speaker 5: don't show up. No, I think I have two hundred
- 36:36Speaker 5: between that, I two hundred people on my email list,
- 36:38Speaker 5: but of course I advertise on social media, so I
- 36:40Speaker 5: had about two hundred people to sign up. So about
- 36:42Speaker 5: one hundred people signed up, and it was a five
- 36:44Speaker 5: day challenge, and I think maybe about sixty five seventy
- 36:49Speaker 5: were on my clothes and then thirty of those people
- 36:52Speaker 5: said yes to the offer that I had. And so
- 36:55Speaker 5: in that process, you're supposed to scale down because everybody's.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Not interested in me.
- 37:00Speaker 5: You know, some people are just curious, and that is natural.
- 37:03Speaker 5: It's the same thing. It's like when we're thinking about dating,
- 37:05Speaker 5: getting to know people. You might go on a lot
- 37:07Speaker 5: of dates, but everybody is not your type, you know.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Right because you're talking to somebody doesn't mean they're the one, right,
- 37:13Speaker 1: They just might be the one for today.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Hello, dinner tastes good, But I don't want to I
- 37:17Speaker 3: don't want to be with you all time. And so
- 37:19Speaker 3: that's a good thing.
- 37:20Speaker 5: And I think sometimes, especially as Christian entrepreneurs, we want
- 37:23Speaker 5: our friends to be the customer does not don't do
- 37:26Speaker 5: that focus on who wants to buy from you, and
- 37:29Speaker 5: it shouldn't be your best friend or if they support you, fantastic,
- 37:33Speaker 5: but that is not their role.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Their role is to be your friend.
- 37:36Speaker 5: And so just being able to let people know that
- 37:39Speaker 5: you have something and let it be really clear and
- 37:42Speaker 5: let it have results, then that allows open doors for reality.
- 37:46Speaker 5: The thing is is that the methods will constantly change.
- 37:49Speaker 5: Now I don't I don't see people doing as many
- 37:52Speaker 5: five day challenges. Now that was really something that was
- 37:54Speaker 5: in the you know, really heavy up until I about
- 37:56Speaker 5: twenty twenty four. You saw it all the time. Now
- 38:01Speaker 5: I wouldn't do that. I probably will offer a really great,
- 38:05Speaker 5: easy product that someone could get instant value from, whether
- 38:08Speaker 5: it was Elite Magnet or a one day experience or
- 38:12Speaker 5: something else where they could get value, and then say, hey,
- 38:14Speaker 5: if you love this, you'll like this next thing that
- 38:16Speaker 5: I have. And so being able even to micro teach
- 38:19Speaker 5: and micro deliver results is very powerful now too.
- 38:23Speaker 3: But there's other ways.
- 38:24Speaker 5: Maybe your customer doesn't want micro results, maybe they want
- 38:28Speaker 5: you to do it for them. Just maybe they want
- 38:30Speaker 5: you to come in help them curate their podcast, look
- 38:33Speaker 5: their studio, their lights, their vision and then you charge
- 38:35Speaker 5: in the big bucks, the big bucks to finish the assignment. Yeah,
- 38:41Speaker 5: so it can be different ways to achieve the same goal.
- 38:45Speaker 5: But the goal is being able to serve through your gift.
- 38:48Speaker 5: And of course you're always going to have Charlotte San's
- 38:51Speaker 5: but when you've been assigned from the Lord, when we
- 38:54Speaker 5: hold back or really just holding back on him, we're
- 38:57Speaker 5: not really going back on ourselves.
- 38:59Speaker 2: She's a she said, Charlattan's.
- 39:03Speaker 1: But also she said, you're really not holding exactly on
- 39:08Speaker 1: your You're holding back on God. And that that's that's
- 39:13Speaker 1: a scary thought to hold God from what he designed,
- 39:17Speaker 1: like what you say that he has lordship over.
- 39:22Speaker 3: And I've done that. I don't want to pretend like
- 39:24Speaker 3: I'm talking kind of perfect Christian. I ain't never made
- 39:26Speaker 3: that mistake one hundred percent.
- 39:28Speaker 5: I have held back on God because even the first
- 39:30Speaker 5: time I made so what I brought before the Lord,
- 39:35Speaker 5: my mom had gotten sick, she had gotten cancer, and
- 39:38Speaker 5: I was working a contract job where I was having
- 39:40Speaker 5: to travel all over the country, and I said, God,
- 39:42Speaker 5: I cannot do this anymore. I was like, I am
- 39:44Speaker 5: done with, you know, being gone twenty one days a month.
- 39:48Speaker 5: I can't be here for her like that. I was like,
- 39:49Speaker 5: I need you to do this today. I need you
- 39:52Speaker 5: to pay my salary for a day, and he did.
- 39:55Speaker 5: I was in the middle of working that job. I
- 39:57Speaker 5: was doing my challenges. So I was doing all the
- 39:59Speaker 5: things I needed to do. But I remember when twenty
- 40:03Speaker 5: eight people had signed up, and that was I don't know,
- 40:06Speaker 5: maybe thirty four thousand dollars. I'll say, God, I can't
- 40:09Speaker 5: do that. Then thirty six people signed up. I was like, God,
- 40:12Speaker 5: like I can't. I asked him to stop the funnel.
- 40:14Speaker 5: I was like, I can't serve forty people.
- 40:17Speaker 3: How will I do it on my own?
- 40:18Speaker 5: When he was just preparing me to hire somebody and
- 40:21Speaker 5: I was fraiz. So I was limiting the power of God.
- 40:26Speaker 3: And we do that.
- 40:27Speaker 5: So I don't want to pretend like I've never done
- 40:30Speaker 5: that or I've never experienced that.
- 40:31Speaker 3: I most certainly have.
- 40:33Speaker 5: But at the time I just didn't even understand what
- 40:36Speaker 5: he was trying to birth in me, and so I
- 40:38Speaker 5: got nervous. But even in that nervousness, God is a
- 40:41Speaker 5: redeemer and restored because my nervousness never stopped his grace
- 40:45Speaker 5: and his mercy, and I did not intend to be
- 40:48Speaker 5: talking about my business because I had told the Lord
- 40:50Speaker 5: I wanted to do something else, Like we were just
- 40:52Speaker 5: having this conversation very recently.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Oh really, so that's why you looking like that yesterday?
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm talking about yesterday.
- 41:00Speaker 1: So then I'm gonna have to make sure before this
- 41:02Speaker 1: broadcast is up that every method of how people need to.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Reach me is up. I'm like, God, you forced me
- 41:07Speaker 3: back into a corner.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Wow, whoa, he said, No, that's but that's interesting though.
- 41:17Speaker 1: But I because, mister Needle, what I think, and this
- 41:22Speaker 1: is what I want for you, because I think that
- 41:26Speaker 1: you have this unique ability of allowing people to see
- 41:32Speaker 1: themselves in the structure of what God has called him
- 41:36Speaker 1: them and making it make sense to them, like talking
- 41:40Speaker 1: to you, like y'all I talked to her off camera,
- 41:43Speaker 1: like when we talk, we talk, And so when I
- 41:46Speaker 1: talk to you, I feel I find myself seeing me again,
- 41:51Speaker 1: like sometimes we can see we can look at the mirror,
- 41:53Speaker 1: we can be with ourselves all that all the time.
- 41:55Speaker 1: But when people give you language for who you are
- 41:59Speaker 1: and helped you, help you with the strategy of you,
- 42:03Speaker 1: that's a whole nother thing. And I think that's a
- 42:05Speaker 1: course within itself, like that's a course with himself.
- 42:09Speaker 2: So I don't know why you were thinking thinking about
- 42:11Speaker 2: not doing it.
- 42:13Speaker 1: But think about I was going hand five paper, Listen,
- 42:17Speaker 1: we're not doing this sea where guy?
- 42:18Speaker 3: Some else?
- 42:20Speaker 1: But I wanted to do something else?
- 42:23Speaker 3: Why not?
- 42:26Speaker 2: Do you feel like it's time?
- 42:27Speaker 5: So so this conversation is opening me up.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Okay, okay, See this is this is why I love
- 42:35Speaker 1: God des ray because I would sitting here like I said, God,
- 42:38Speaker 1: why are you? Why are we here? Why are we here?
- 42:40Speaker 1: Why are we talking about confidence? Why are we talking
- 42:42Speaker 1: about transitioning the course? Because we can Mistnita has a
- 42:45Speaker 1: testimony with herself. Like you've heard her say, she's both
- 42:48Speaker 1: her parents have passed and gone away. I navigated through
- 42:51Speaker 1: the mother. Uh when your mother passed away? I knew
- 42:54Speaker 1: you then you you're single woman? You're what are you
- 42:59Speaker 1: in your forty?
- 43:01Speaker 3: Yes? And I would say, oh, Jess, we can talk
- 43:03Speaker 3: about being single.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Be you listed that? But but the Lord did not
- 43:11Speaker 1: say anything about he does not care about your sting.
- 43:14Speaker 1: I won't say you don't care about your sleep? Of this?
- 43:15Speaker 2: He's talking about.
- 43:16Speaker 1: This course and what if your man is ready to
- 43:19Speaker 1: pay you right now?
- 43:21Speaker 2: And you're missing out on it, Miss d Needo.
- 43:24Speaker 1: So by the time these airs we need, we need
- 43:26Speaker 1: beta show up on this course.
- 43:30Speaker 3: He just seems to know I'm expensive and everybody pays.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Okay, everybody that part.
- 43:37Speaker 1: I think that is a when Deseirae and I will
- 43:40Speaker 1: start started doing increased media, right, which is a geared
- 43:45Speaker 1: towards entrepreneurs that want to have a virtual, long long
- 43:49Speaker 1: form content experience that we can manage from anywhere. So
- 43:53Speaker 1: we have people pen Cecola, Texas like we we don't
- 43:58Speaker 1: we'll just cover the region of Alabama right because we
- 44:02Speaker 1: haven't found about to do that.
- 44:03Speaker 2: But it's okay, though we learned it. That's not that's
- 44:05Speaker 2: not our audience. So we struggled at first. You can
- 44:11Speaker 2: correct me if I'm wrong.
- 44:12Speaker 1: We struggle at first with the idea of charging as much,
- 44:16Speaker 1: and then we realized when we started charging, we were like,
- 44:18Speaker 1: we don't think we're charging enough or offering the value
- 44:22Speaker 1: of the offer needs to increase, you know what I'm saying.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Why do you feel like people run into that that
- 44:29Speaker 1: issue of charging or offering a high ticket having an
- 44:34Speaker 1: high ticket offer.
- 44:37Speaker 5: So I think it's confidence. Can you deliver all the
- 44:39Speaker 5: things that you assigned. And I think a lot of times,
- 44:43Speaker 5: I'm believers have a lot more confidence in what they
- 44:45Speaker 5: can assign. So years ago, I had a coach and
- 44:49Speaker 5: she was my writing coach, and she had specialists that
- 44:52Speaker 5: would come in and one of her specialists the only
- 44:55Speaker 5: thing this guy did, and he had a multiple.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Six figure business, was make sure that your emails could
- 45:00Speaker 3: be open.
- 45:01Speaker 5: So that's all he worked with. He didn't care if
- 45:04Speaker 5: your copy was trash, he didn't care if you said
- 45:07Speaker 5: anything that made any sense. As long as they opened it,
- 45:09Speaker 5: that was his deliverable. And he charged so much money
- 45:13Speaker 5: to make sure your deliverables could be operated with excellence.
- 45:17Speaker 5: What I'm saying is, I think a lot of times
- 45:19Speaker 5: we devalue the excellence that God puts on the inside.
- 45:22Speaker 3: Of us, and it has to start somewhere. So it's
- 45:24Speaker 3: totally fine.
- 45:25Speaker 5: That you and Desiree are marketing yourselves all over the
- 45:28Speaker 5: nation and people can't wait to hire you and they're
- 45:31Speaker 5: so excited about you managing what you're managing for them.
- 45:34Speaker 5: But what's really cool about that is that now you
- 45:37Speaker 5: know what your value is, you can always increase it
- 45:40Speaker 5: and you can always just trust the Lord with the process.
- 45:44Speaker 1: That's so good. She want us to heal hers so bad.
- 45:48Speaker 1: She wants to be a part of the conversation.
- 45:50Speaker 2: She really does.
- 45:52Speaker 1: She's not dressed, she don't have her hair done, she can't.
- 45:54Speaker 1: She's not part of the conversation. Like you should see
- 45:57Speaker 1: what she's doing. She's doing a whole color project over here.
- 46:00Speaker 3: Like experience.
- 46:03Speaker 2: I love it, experience, Listen.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Being an Auntie is really is really that thing like
- 46:08Speaker 1: I would I would pick. I'm glad I'm getting Auntie
- 46:11Speaker 1: experience before mother experience because and I pray, you know
- 46:16Speaker 1: that one day I shall be a mom like I
- 46:19Speaker 1: would love to birth my own children. I'm open to
- 46:22Speaker 1: adoption as well, but I will love to birth my
- 46:24Speaker 1: own children. I think it has really taught me tolerance,
- 46:29Speaker 1: my tolerance and then also giving me language because if
- 46:32Speaker 1: I was a mother, probably ten years ago, my kids
- 46:36Speaker 1: probably hate me. I just have to be honest with it,
- 46:39Speaker 1: because no, I was not. I was not the woman
- 46:42Speaker 1: I am today like I would be. I would have
- 46:45Speaker 1: been fussing, cussing, tan butt up just for because that
- 46:50Speaker 1: that's what I knew.
- 46:51Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 46:52Speaker 3: So being Auntie is real, It is real fun it's
- 46:56Speaker 3: a great practice.
- 46:56Speaker 5: And then I get to give her back because her
- 46:58Speaker 5: dad's coming home a little bit, so.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Not the problem, come get her.
- 47:05Speaker 2: So it's fine, No, it's good, it's good. Mister.
- 47:09Speaker 1: I think that this can't be your only time here
- 47:13Speaker 1: because I think there's so much more that we have
- 47:16Speaker 1: to discuss.
- 47:18Speaker 2: But I feel like.
- 47:20Speaker 1: This is where what we were supposed to talk about today,
- 47:24Speaker 1: and so I would love to hear from desil Ray
- 47:26Speaker 1: on her thoughts about what we've discussed for part one
- 47:29Speaker 1: of Anita, because she's gonna you think she should come back.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Absolutely, we got to have, mister Na. Yeah, in the
- 47:36Speaker 2: in the flesh too, that's.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Gonna be even more fun.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely, yes, No, I've really enjoyed this conversation. And
- 47:44Speaker 1: one thing that really stuck out to me that I
- 47:46Speaker 1: am uh marinating on is when she said confidence begins
- 47:50Speaker 1: with the seed, right, because we think that when we
- 47:54Speaker 1: get an instructional, we get a thing, that we have
- 47:57Speaker 1: to go fullard forcing the thing. But the Lord is
- 47:59Speaker 1: just like, you know, I just need to take this
- 48:00Speaker 1: one step, and so with confidence, that's what the confidence is.
- 48:03Speaker 1: It's like you heard them, and then what is the
- 48:06Speaker 1: next best step to take towards that thing, and as
- 48:09Speaker 1: you continue to move, you can look back and be like,
- 48:11Speaker 1: oh man, look at that, look at that track record, look.
- 48:13Speaker 2: At that, Look what at this? Look at that?
- 48:15Speaker 1: And your confidence at the point has built, like you've
- 48:17Speaker 1: you've journeyed enough. And I'm just kind of looking back
- 48:20Speaker 1: at my own life and I'm like, there are some
- 48:22Speaker 1: there are some areas I'm still there's still areas of opportunity, yes,
- 48:25Speaker 1: but there are some areas that I am very, very
- 48:29Speaker 1: highly confident in. Yeah, because I've taken the step towards
- 48:33Speaker 1: the thing that God has told me to do. So
- 48:35Speaker 1: this was really good, and and and and the conversation
- 48:37Speaker 1: about courses too. I was just having a conversation with
- 48:41Speaker 1: one of my one of my volunteers at church about
- 48:43Speaker 1: something that I'll check in with them from time to time.
- 48:46Speaker 2: And I said, well, how can I pray for you?
- 48:48Speaker 1: She's like, oh, you know, so I can obey quicker
- 48:51Speaker 1: more quickly or whatever that may look like, right, And
- 48:54Speaker 1: I was like, and so when miss Anita said, hey,
- 48:57Speaker 1: we're not, uh the part about us not almost kind
- 49:03Speaker 1: of like it's not us where almost like uh, it's
- 49:07Speaker 1: the lack of confidence in God.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Or you're not doing towards the Lord.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Yeah, think that stuck out with me too, And I'm
- 49:12Speaker 1: actually gonna I'm gonna break that down. I'm gonna send
- 49:15Speaker 1: that to her, and I'm gonna say this is from
- 49:17Speaker 1: mister Needa.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Scott Danita A Scott, put the A.
- 49:21Speaker 1: On them, Put the A on them, and respect it
- 49:24Speaker 1: and respected not the little A mis the Needa. No.
- 49:28Speaker 1: We I think that if we go too far deep,
- 49:31Speaker 1: I think I won't execute. And you're big. You're big
- 49:34Speaker 1: on execution. That's one of the things I see that
- 49:36Speaker 1: you do with your clients. And let me just tell
- 49:40Speaker 1: you what I've seen, what I've witnessed, what I've what
- 49:43Speaker 1: I've digested. Mister Needa is not one that does not
- 49:48Speaker 1: believe in execution, nor does she want to set you
- 49:51Speaker 1: up not to be able to execute. And so I
- 49:54Speaker 1: think this has to just be one and then the
- 49:57Speaker 1: next is going to build off this one. But I
- 50:00Speaker 1: think it all this conversation really assisted with our mantra
- 50:05Speaker 1: for the year, and it reminds us build or build
- 50:07Speaker 1: right when we talk about not even just building the course,
- 50:11Speaker 1: but building the confidence to expose yourself.
- 50:14Speaker 2: That's what a course is.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Exposing your ideas, your intelligence, the excellence that God has
- 50:21Speaker 1: embedded in us. You literally say, build the confidence to
- 50:25Speaker 1: expose the hand of God.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Oh, thank you Lord.
- 50:28Speaker 1: We're building confidence because that's what he told Joshua. He
- 50:32Speaker 1: said be bold and courageous multiple times, multiple times.
- 50:37Speaker 2: And we have to do that. We have to have that.
- 50:41Speaker 1: In spite of the adversity, even when we're being like
- 50:45Speaker 1: experiencing adversity against ourselves, like what we're hindering ourselves, the fear,
- 50:50Speaker 1: the low self esteem, the self hatred, the self doubt.
- 50:54Speaker 1: That's all adversity to self. That's all make plenty and
- 50:59Speaker 1: seeds of dysfunction for self. And so you you you
- 51:03Speaker 1: you clock the tea today, missed the data, Nata, you
- 51:07Speaker 1: clocked the tea. And so as a tradition, just as
- 51:11Speaker 1: I want to give you the floor if I know
- 51:13Speaker 1: we've talked about confidence courses, but if you came in with.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Anything on your heart, because we know you here from
- 51:20Speaker 2: the Lord, the floor is yours. I want to give
- 51:24Speaker 2: you the final words and we're gonna close this thing up.
- 51:28Speaker 5: Well you know what I just wanted to tell your
- 51:29Speaker 5: audience and just thank you and just right, soo much
- 51:32Speaker 5: for allowing me to be a part of your platform,
- 51:34Speaker 5: being a part of your experience, and I'm so proud
- 51:37Speaker 5: of you for what you continue to do, and I'm
- 51:38Speaker 5: so proud of you for keeping pressing forward towards the
- 51:41Speaker 5: things that the Lord has assigned you to do. For
- 51:43Speaker 5: everybody who's listening, it is not about the thing that
- 51:47Speaker 5: you think you need to do to please the Lord
- 51:50Speaker 5: because he's pleased with you, because you're here. It is
- 51:52Speaker 5: about trusting what's on the inside of you to move forward,
- 51:56Speaker 5: and that trust allows so many other things to come
- 52:00Speaker 5: to you. There are things that are designed to come
- 52:02Speaker 5: to you that you can't even dream of yet. But
- 52:05Speaker 5: because it just takes that seed of confidence, that seed
- 52:08Speaker 5: of trust, that seed of devotion, that seed of I'm
- 52:11Speaker 5: willing to try and what that can do for you,
- 52:14Speaker 5: it's open doors that you could.
- 52:15Speaker 3: Never have imagined.
- 52:17Speaker 5: Every time I've trusted the Lord and allow him to
- 52:20Speaker 5: lead my path, I've seen things that I was not
- 52:23Speaker 5: asking for and seeing that there's so much grace to
- 52:27Speaker 5: the hearer. There's so much grace to grow into. And
- 52:30Speaker 5: so don't second guess your power, don't second guess your anointing,
- 52:34Speaker 5: don't second guess your assignment because only you can do
- 52:37Speaker 5: what you've been assigned to do. There's no one else
- 52:39Speaker 5: on the planet who can do it like you, because
- 52:41Speaker 5: that's how you were built. You were built as one
- 52:44Speaker 5: of a kind, as unique, and so your ability to do.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Your assignment is all that matters.
- 52:49Speaker 5: And just trust that you could do it, like I
- 52:52Speaker 5: promise you, even if you think you can't. The reason
- 52:54Speaker 5: why you think you can't. I'm reading a book right now,
- 52:57Speaker 5: and one of the things it mentioned. The author said
- 52:59Speaker 5: is like, don't ask God for things that you can
- 53:01Speaker 5: do yourself. Trust him and put his reputation on the
- 53:04Speaker 5: line for things that only he can do. So if
- 53:06Speaker 5: he's asking you to do something that's impossible, that means
- 53:09Speaker 5: you're a great company. And I believe in you and
- 53:11Speaker 5: I can't wait to see you doing it.
- 53:12Speaker 2: On the other side, man, oh that was a way
- 53:17Speaker 2: to in that. Can we bless the Lord? No doesn't ray?
- 53:26Speaker 2: That was good. That was good. That just blessed me.
- 53:29Speaker 1: When I rewatch this, I'm gonna take notes because there
- 53:33Speaker 1: was a lot of things that Miss Danita said that
- 53:36Speaker 1: resonated with me.
- 53:36Speaker 2: And I feel like I have my marching orders. But
- 53:38Speaker 2: so wet.
- 53:40Speaker 1: We'll know, but it's gonna it'snna have to be out
- 53:42Speaker 1: of ted ted ted egg though I'm not taking anything
- 53:45Speaker 1: in your phone.
- 53:46Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 53:46Speaker 2: But miss Needa, we're gonna talk. We're gonna talk.
- 53:50Speaker 1: But you, guys, we have Miss Anita's information in the
- 53:53Speaker 1: in the chat, in the in the description, hit her up.
- 53:56Speaker 1: If you need, of course, uh to be built or
- 53:59Speaker 1: you need somebody to lay you out. The Woman of
- 54:07Speaker 1: God is available and accessible to you. Okay, But I
- 54:11Speaker 1: love you guys. I hope let's come in. Let us
- 54:13Speaker 1: know what you got from this conversation. But until next week,
- 54:16Speaker 1: until next time, remember life could be much more simple
- 54:20Speaker 1: if you just asked.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Thank you for tuning in to this week's episode. Since
- 54:31Speaker 2: you've made it this far, you might as well connect

- 54:40Speaker 1: but until then, remember to love always yourself and always.
- 54:47Speaker 4: Say thank God for one another day. Hey, Hey, I
- 54:53Speaker 4: know we could be another way. Hey, pray thank God
- 54:58Speaker 4: for another day.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Hey.
- 55:02Speaker 4: Hey, I'm just thankful another day. Hey, Hey, another day older,
