“The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few...” - Readings for 10/1/26
In today’s Gospel, Jesus appoints 72 disciples and commands them to go out in pairs to towns he intends to visit. The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few. In other words, there are very few people who want God’s will over their own and are willing to respond to the promptings of God for the sake and the salvation of many.
What are your priorities? Are you willing to be one of the laborers?
Ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.
