Speaker 2: It is time for us to go to God in prayer,
• 0:02
Speaker 2: and as always I ask that you join along with
• 0:06
Speaker 2: me in prayer. My aunt Lulah Miller sends out a
• 0:10
Speaker 2: prayer for the family every morning in a scripture, and
• 0:15
Speaker 2: on Friday she sent out Jane's one in twelve, where
• 0:18
Speaker 2: it says, bless is the one who perseveres under trial,
• 0:22
Speaker 2: because having stood the tests, the person will receive the
• 0:25
Speaker 2: crown of life that the Lord has promised to those
• 0:28
Speaker 2: that love him. I want to pray for that heavenly Father,
• 0:33
Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus. We come before you with
• 0:36
Speaker 2: hearts bowed yet lifted by your word, which gives life,
• 0:40
Speaker 2: hope and strength to the weary Lord. You see the
• 0:43
Speaker 2: battles we face, some silent, some screaming, but all very real.
• 0:50
Speaker 2: In the middle of the storm, you are still God.
• 0:53
Speaker 2: In the middle of the tests, you are still faithful Lord.
• 0:58
Speaker 2: Today we hold fast to your promise. In James one twelve,
• 1:02
Speaker 2: you said, blessed is the one who perseveres under trial.
• 1:06
Speaker 1: God, help us to be the one when.
• 1:09
Speaker 2: Life is hard and the precious amount, when the tears
• 1:12
Speaker 2: fall in secret and the answers don't come quickly. Teach
• 1:15
Speaker 2: us to persevere, not with pride or self reliance, but
• 1:19
Speaker 2: with eyes locked on You, the author and the finisher
• 1:23
Speaker 2: of our faith. We acknowledge our weakness, we also embrace
• 1:28
Speaker 2: God your strength. You said that those who stand the
• 1:32
Speaker 2: test will receive the crown of life. Not just any life, God,
• 1:36
Speaker 2: but you said eternal, abundant, victorious life.
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: In you.
• 1:40
Speaker 2: Remind us God that the struggle is not the end
• 1:43
Speaker 2: of the story. The pain is not pointless. That you
• 1:46
Speaker 2: are shaping us, You're refining us. You're preparing us for
• 1:49
Speaker 2: something that far out weighs what we can see. Right now, God,
• 1:53
Speaker 2: when the fire comes, let it purify and not destroy it.
• 1:57
Speaker 2: When the burdens feel unbearable, God, be the lift of
• 2:00
Speaker 2: our hands. When we feel forgotten and unseen, whisper.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: Again that we are chosen by you.
• 2:08
  Speaker 2: Lord.
• 2:08
Speaker 1: We love you, not just for the crown.
• 2:12
Speaker 2: You promise, but because you first loved us. You walk
• 2:16
Speaker 2: the road of suffering and overcame, and now you walk
• 2:19
Speaker 2: with us in our lives every single day, in every situation.
• 2:24
Speaker 2: Give us holy endurance, God and an unshakable peace that
• 2:28
Speaker 2: goes beyond our human understanding of praise that lives.
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: Even God.
• 2:33
Speaker 2: In the midnight hour, when we feel all alone.
• 2:37
Speaker 1: God, we will not give up. God, we will not
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: turn back.
• 2:41
Speaker 2: By your spirit, God, we will indure. We will trust
• 2:45
Speaker 2: you even when we can't trace you. God. When the
• 2:50
Speaker 2: trial passes, and it will, God, we will stand. We
• 2:54
Speaker 2: will not be broken, but we will be blessed, crown
• 2:58
Speaker 2: not by man but the hands of the King of Kings,
• 3:02
Speaker 2: the Lord of Lords, our Appua, Father, our Daddy God
• 3:07
  Speaker 2: in Jesus' name,
