- 0:00Speaker 1: It's more of Mark.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Mark Simone on 710WOR.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Well, the UN continues today. The president yesterday spoke at
- 0:14Speaker 1: the UN, and it's the first time I've ever seen that.
- 0:16Speaker 1: They actually applauded that body of globalists and UN weasels
- 0:21Speaker 1: four times during the speech. They applauded President Trump. That
- 0:23Speaker 1: actually never happens. Tomorrow, Netanyahu will be speaking. That'll be
- 0:28Speaker 1: quite a day. He arrives later tonight, about nine o'clock.
- 0:32Speaker 1: He's coming. He's staying at, uh, let's just say 61st
- 0:35Speaker 1: and park. So if you're anywhere around there, it's going
- 0:39Speaker 1: to be unbelievable gridlock and they don't know what to
- 0:42Speaker 1: expect protester wise. So just be aware of that, uh,
- 0:46Speaker 1: of that area. Uh, and if you're, you know, right
- 0:49Speaker 1: around the corner, you got, uh, all these, uh, all
- 0:52Speaker 1: the restaurants. So the Upper East side where the old
- 0:55Speaker 1: Yentas all hang out, like, uh, Lagaloo and Bibloque. So
- 0:58Speaker 1: you might have protesters all over the street. You protesters,
- 1:04Speaker 1: they still have the sidewalk tables going on. If you
- 1:07Speaker 1: see these old yentas and they look at you and go,
- 1:10Speaker 1: how are you? Leave them alone. Just beware of that.
- 1:15Speaker 1: You're going to have, this is tonight, nine o'clock he arrives.
- 1:18Speaker 1: You're going to have a traffic nightmare there. And then
- 1:21Speaker 1: he'll speak at the UN tomorrow, Netanyahu. And then he'll
- 1:23Speaker 1: leave in the afternoon. He's got a couple of meetings tomorrow.
- 1:26Speaker 1: And then he'll leave by Thursday night. And then Friday,
- 1:30Speaker 1: most of this U.N. stuff starts to die down over
- 1:33Speaker 1: the weekend. Monday is really the last day of the
- 1:36Speaker 1: world leaders and all that. And then they do other stuff,
- 1:41Speaker 1: whatever they do. Most of these U.N. people, they come
- 1:44Speaker 1: with huge delegations. It's mostly hookers and shopping and restaurants
- 1:48Speaker 1: and Broadway. That's the main activity. And then during the day,
- 1:52Speaker 1: they have these stupid meetings. Today is A.I. Day at
- 1:55Speaker 1: the U.N. where these UN idiots pretend that they actually
- 2:00Speaker 1: know something about AI or that they're qualified to run it.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Humans are increasingly handing power to machines. With artificial agents
- 2:09Speaker 3: going rogue and little autonomous weapons going from science fiction
- 2:15Speaker 3: to military reality.
- 2:17Speaker 1: If you were auditioning James Bond villains and this guy
- 2:20Speaker 1: was there, you go, okay, next. Again, you don't want that.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You don't want him running AI or any of that. So, hey,
- 2:29Speaker 1: today is the day CNN and Politico go into court.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You know, President Trump banned MSNOW and CNN and Politico
- 2:42Speaker 1: from entering the White House. They can cover the White House.
- 2:46Speaker 1: They can cover President Trump all they want. In fact,
- 2:49Speaker 1: if I was watching MSNBC today, all they were talking
- 2:52Speaker 1: about was President Trump. They were covering him all day.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You can cover them just fine without entering the White House.
- 2:57Speaker 1: But they just annoy people and ask the rudest questions.
- 3:01Speaker 1: So basically, he's not letting them in the building. Even
- 3:04Speaker 1: if they get back in, even if the court rules
- 3:07Speaker 1: that they can come back, he's not going to let
- 3:09Speaker 1: them in the Oval Office anymore. They can go in
- 3:11Speaker 1: the press room. Now, you remember he did this to
- 3:13Speaker 1: AI a long time, not AI, AP, a long time ago,
- 3:17Speaker 1: the Associated Press, which became totally left-wing biased. He banned
- 3:21Speaker 1: Associated Press from the White House. They went to court.
- 3:24Speaker 1: This is a couple of years ago. They're still in court.
- 3:28Speaker 1: They've been in court for years. It's going absolutely no place.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And again, they haven't been allowed in the White House
- 3:32Speaker 1: for a couple of years. And nobody noticed. Nobody noticed.
- 3:36Speaker 1: You know, half the time they make up everything anyway.
- 3:38Speaker 1: What's the difference if they're in the building? Now, the
- 3:41Speaker 1: problem CNN and MS now face when they go into court,
- 3:45Speaker 1: the president's team could come in and start documenting all
- 3:49Speaker 1: the examples of fake news they broadcast. There's a list.
- 3:53Speaker 1: a mile long of totally fake stories that they broadcast
- 3:57Speaker 1: from the kids in cages to Charlottesville to the bloodbath
- 4:01Speaker 1: story to all these just totally fake stories. There's doctored
- 4:05Speaker 1: videos that they've run, doctored audio. I mean, this could
- 4:08Speaker 1: all be presented in court right on the record under oath.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And that could be a problem for them. They can
- 4:13Speaker 1: also come in the Trump administration and list dozens and
- 4:17Speaker 1: dozens of major stories, that they refused to cover because
- 4:21Speaker 1: they looked too favorable for President Trump. And then through
- 4:25Speaker 1: all those two things, you could declare, and not necessarily,
- 4:28Speaker 1: they're not really a news organization. They're a partisan operation.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And Politico, it's just a website. I mean, you don't
- 4:35Speaker 1: have to let them into the White House. But I
- 4:39Speaker 1: think in the end, the president probably will not win
- 4:41Speaker 1: this battle. But it's just a good thing. It's good
- 4:45Speaker 1: for two reasons. One, it embarrasses these networks. And it
- 4:49Speaker 1: drives the left crazy. He loves to get them running
- 4:52Speaker 1: around screaming like maniacs all day about something. Now, diesel fuel.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Here's another thing. The president probably should have started using
- 5:02Speaker 1: export bans earlier. The price of diesel is up and
- 5:06Speaker 1: that can affect everything because that's trucks and that's everything
- 5:09Speaker 1: on every shelf in every store delivered by trucks. So
- 5:12Speaker 1: it can affect the price when diesel prices go up. Now,
- 5:17Speaker 1: the thing is we Right now, because of President Trump
- 5:21Speaker 1: opening up drilling everywhere, we produce more oil than anybody
- 5:25Speaker 1: in the world, more diesel fuel, more everything. We have
- 5:28Speaker 1: tons of it. We have more than we could ever use.
- 5:31Speaker 1: We have an endless supply of it. But the price
- 5:34Speaker 1: of diesel, it's affected worldwide, mostly because of the war
- 5:37Speaker 1: in Ukraine, Ukraine taking out the Russia's diesel facilities, knocking
- 5:41Speaker 1: out pipelines and diesel refineries, that sort of stuff. But
- 5:46Speaker 1: the president should probably, he's thinking of doing maybe an
- 5:48Speaker 1: export ban just on diesel fuel, not letting any out
- 5:52Speaker 1: of the country. That way we've got all the diesel
- 5:54Speaker 1: fuel we need, and it would bring the price down.
- 5:56Speaker 1: He was asked about diesel.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I've said let's not send out the diesel. We make
- 5:59Speaker 2: a lot of diesel. It could have a little bit
- 6:02Speaker 2: of an effect on regular automobile gasoline because when you
- 6:06Speaker 2: do that, you know, it's sort of a flow.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It's a balance.
- 6:09Speaker 2: But, no, I've called for it. I've called for it
- 6:11Speaker 2: within my people. I've been talking about it.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, the president opened up drilling. when he came in,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and we now produce more oil than anybody in the world.
- 6:19Speaker 1: We're now the biggest exporter of oil. We are now
- 6:22Speaker 1: the oil king of the world. The only problem is,
- 6:26Speaker 1: with all the extra drilling, we don't have the refineries
- 6:28Speaker 1: to refine it that fast. We only have 130 refineries
- 6:32Speaker 1: in this country. We haven't built a refinery in this
- 6:34Speaker 1: country since the 70s. The left started to treat the
- 6:38Speaker 1: refinery like a nuclear plant. They wouldn't allow any to
- 6:40Speaker 1: be built anywhere. So we start building some refineries. We
- 6:45Speaker 1: could just be bringing the price of oil down to
- 6:49Speaker 1: $ 40 a gallon. Hey, it's the first day of fall.
- 6:52Speaker 1: That's right. First day of autumn. It began at 8
- 6:56Speaker 1: o'clock last night. Taylor Swift shocked her fans with a
- 7:01Speaker 1: surprise announcement. She says, I've been impatiently waiting to tell you.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I've been impatiently waiting to tell you that my brand
- 7:09Speaker 1: new single, Patient Zero, will be out on September 25th.
- 7:13Speaker 1: followed by 15 exclamation points she put on Instagram. It's
- 7:18Speaker 1: available to pre-order right now on her website for the
- 7:21Speaker 1: next 24 hours. If you're a big Taylor Swift fan,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that's a lot of people, she really knows how to
- 7:27Speaker 1: play you. She really knows how to pull the strings
- 7:32Speaker 1: on you. Just put out the single. Just put out
- 7:37Speaker 1: the single. Following the announcement, she released three CD variations
- 7:42Speaker 1: of of Bad Blood. This is the other thing they do.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And she's already a billionaire. I don't know why she
- 7:51Speaker 1: has to do all this stuff, but they keep milking
- 7:52Speaker 1: you for money. So Bad Blood, they're putting out three
- 7:57Speaker 1: CD versions of the track, I guess of Patient Zero.
- 8:02Speaker 1: They're gonna put out just a piano version. They're gonna
- 8:06Speaker 1: put out just an acoustic version for pre-order at the site.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You know, the actual single, that's the way it sounds good.
- 8:14Speaker 1: If it was good with just acoustic, they would have
- 8:16Speaker 1: released that that way. If it was better with just
- 8:19Speaker 1: the piano, they would have put that on the album.
- 8:22Speaker 1: But it's a way to get more out of you.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It's unclear whether this patient zero will lead to a
- 8:27Speaker 1: new album or serve as a standalone solo track. Swift's
- 8:32Speaker 1: last album, The Life of a Showgirl, was released one
- 8:35Speaker 1: year ago. So it's been one year. And this one
- 8:40Speaker 1: single will come out. She does this just to toy
- 8:42Speaker 1: with you, just to drive you nuts. Hey, by the way,
- 8:44Speaker 1: it's Bruce Springsteen's birthday today. He's 77 years old and
- 8:50Speaker 1: looks it. He is still traveling and touring, doing those
- 8:56Speaker 1: three-hour concerts. You're going to have a hell of an
- 9:00Speaker 1: ego to do a three-hour concert. And, of course, in between.
- 9:03Speaker 1: One reason it's three hours in between. He's ranting and
- 9:06Speaker 1: raving about things he knows nothing about. It's him on
- 9:09Speaker 1: foreign policy, him on interest rates, him on whatever. But
- 9:14Speaker 1: 77 today. He is, of course, a major figure still
- 9:19Speaker 1: in the music world. And in New Jersey, he's like
- 9:21Speaker 1: a god. I've never been the biggest Bruce Springsteen fan.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't quite get it. Every song is...
- 9:29Speaker 1: He's broken down on Hungary in a highway somewhere and
- 9:32Speaker 1: tramps like a... I don't know. I don't get it.
- 9:34Speaker 2: But.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Hey, speaking of hungry, McDonald's is trying out something just
- 9:40Speaker 1: in their Chicago. They've got a big flagship store in Chicago.
- 9:43Speaker 1: McDonald's is actually in Chicago headquarters, but there's a flagship store.
- 9:48Speaker 1: There's stuff all around the world that's very popular at McDonald's,
- 9:52Speaker 1: but not available in this country. So they're taking the
- 9:55Speaker 1: most popular dishes from around the world, and they're going
- 9:59Speaker 1: to try them out at that Chicago store. And I
- 10:00Speaker 1: think what they're looking for is to see which one
- 10:03Speaker 1: catches on, which one takes off. They do that sometimes.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Remember they tried the Big Arch earlier this year? I
- 10:10Speaker 1: thought it was phenomenal. It was better than the Big Mac.
- 10:12Speaker 1: But apparently it's just me because two months later it
- 10:15Speaker 1: was gone. So obviously it wasn't selling enough. But these
- 10:18Speaker 1: are the biggest things around the world. The bacon BBQ stack.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Apparently that's huge in the UK. It's got smoked pig,
- 10:27Speaker 1: barbecue sauce, pepper jack cheese. British counterparts, they like that
- 10:34Speaker 1: kind of sodium and sugar together. There's also, they're going
- 10:38Speaker 1: to try bacon hot honey McCrispy. That's big in Canada.
- 10:44Speaker 1: If you really want to know about food, don't talk
- 10:46Speaker 1: to any Canadians. Don't go over there. You ever have
- 10:51Speaker 1: anybody say, well, let's go eat Canadian food tonight. No,
- 10:54Speaker 1: forget them. The other thing they're trying is spicy garlic
- 10:58Speaker 1: black pepper McNuggets. This is very big in Japan. No,
- 11:04Speaker 1: that doesn't sound good. I have a feeling these are
- 11:06Speaker 1: all going to come and go. It's said that they
- 11:08Speaker 1: will only be around for two months. What they're really
- 11:11Speaker 1: looking for is to see if one of them catches on.
- 11:13Speaker 1: None of these will ever catch on. Hey, Republican Candidates.
- 11:19Speaker 1: for Congress, for the Senate, for whatever, suddenly distancing themselves
- 11:24Speaker 1: from Donald Trump. It even happened in Florida. Byron Donalds,
- 11:27Speaker 1: who was a Trump protege, big endorsement from Donald Trump,
- 11:31Speaker 1: very quietly yesterday, all of a sudden, Byron Donalds, who's
- 11:36Speaker 1: the candidate for governor, was expected to be, still, I think,
- 11:39Speaker 1: expected to be the next governor of Florida. Byron Donalds
- 11:42Speaker 1: has quietly erased any trace of Donald Trump off his
- 11:46Speaker 1: campaign website. Now, he's not the only one to do that.
- 11:50Speaker 1: There are other candidates doing that. They're removing Trump from
- 11:53Speaker 1: their ads. They're removing Trump from their websites, from their Instagram.
- 11:59Speaker 1: What does that mean? They think Donald Trump, not only
- 12:02Speaker 1: he's not helping right now, that he might be hurting
- 12:04Speaker 1: their chances. I don't know. Now, you're going to need
- 12:07Speaker 1: the RNC's help. They got $ 250 million in a war chest.
- 12:12Speaker 1: If a candidate starts looking weak, they can come in
- 12:14Speaker 1: and spend a lot of money prop up that campaign.
- 12:18Speaker 1: So it's a bit of a balancing act you have
- 12:21Speaker 1: to do. Byron Donalds, he's not a great campaigner. He'd
- 12:24Speaker 1: be a great governor. We have a lot of listeners
- 12:27Speaker 1: in Florida. He's the guy you want to be your governor,
- 12:30Speaker 1: Byron Donalds. But he's not a great candidate. So he's
- 12:37Speaker 1: having a little trouble. The polls are getting a little closer.
- 12:41Speaker 1: They're now in a statistical tie. So He's going to
- 12:43Speaker 1: need the RNC to come in, and he may even
- 12:45Speaker 1: need President Trump to come in and help him. Mamdani staffers,
- 12:50Speaker 1: they were ordered not to use that stupid app, that
- 12:55Speaker 1: Signal app. Memo went around to the Mamdani staff, stop
- 12:59Speaker 1: using Signal or WhatsApp for work. Now, what they were
- 13:04Speaker 1: using it for, you know, he's got an army in
- 13:06Speaker 1: that city hall, an army in his group of 200 influencers.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And their job is to all coordinate and try to
- 13:13Speaker 1: arrange fawning, glowing coverage of the mayor on social media.
- 13:19Speaker 1: And he told them to stop using Signal and WhatsApp.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I don't know what they're supposed to do. According to
- 13:23Speaker 1: a memo, city employees are required now to preserve all
- 13:26Speaker 1: their emails and messages under record law. So that might
- 13:30Speaker 1: be the reason. Harder to preserve if it's on those apps.
- 13:33Speaker 1: But he's got a network of influencers just trying to
- 13:37Speaker 1: bombard social media with pro- uh, mom Donnie stuff and
- 13:41Speaker 1: glowing stuff about him. So, Hey, we're talking about Caroline
- 13:45Speaker 1: Levitt before, uh, she's on this new podcast with Sean Hannity. Uh,
- 13:51Speaker 1: he keeps urging her to come to Fox. She's going
- 13:54Speaker 1: to go back to work at some point. And apparently
- 13:57Speaker 1: Fox news has a standing offer to her, uh, to
- 14:01Speaker 1: join them. You know, a lot of former white house
- 14:03Speaker 1: press secretaries are all big Fox hosts. Now, Kaylee McEnany,
- 14:07Speaker 1: Dana Perino, uh, Ari Fleischer, he's not an anchor, but
- 14:13Speaker 1: you see him on Fox quite a bit. That's the
- 14:16Speaker 1: reason to be press secretary. There's quite a career after
- 14:20Speaker 1: you leave. Hey, our phones are still out, right? No phones.
- 14:25Speaker 1: We can't take calls. Is this a good thing or
- 14:27Speaker 1: a bad thing? Well, I think it's a bad thing.
- 14:30Speaker 1: It's important to take calls.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Why?
- 14:31Speaker 1: Because then I don't have to talk as much. But also,
- 14:35Speaker 1: people like us. We love our callers. We love Vincent
- 14:38Speaker 1: and Dave from Chicago and Kathy from North Carolina and
- 14:44Speaker 1: Mike from Florida and all our regular calls. But apparently
- 14:47Speaker 1: it's not just us. It's an AT & T problem.
- 14:50Speaker 1: So the phone lines are out right now. But we've
- 14:53Speaker 1: got lots to talk about, and we'll get to that next.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Don't forget, it's three hours now. Three hours. I'm on
- 14:59Speaker 1: 9 to noon, 9 to noon every day, here on 710WOR.
