Transcript
- 0:19Hello. Good morning. Happy Tuesday, October 27th,
- 0:222026 on Manila Chan. That'd be Ted Raul. You're
- 0:25tuned in to the Ted Manila Information Show,
- 0:28TMI show for short, because we bring you way
- 0:30too much information. Today, we have a couple
- 0:33of hot topics, Ted. I'm sure you perused the
- 0:37rundown for today. I did. And we're going to
- 0:41talk a lot about Russia, Russia, Russia, because,
- 0:44you know, it's election time. So you got to...
- 0:47You got to talk about Russia, because that's
- 0:49all Washington talks about whenever it's election
- 0:52time, it seems. How coincidental. How coincidental.
- 0:56While we were out last week, a new book dropped
- 1:02that says that basically Russia invented the
- 1:07whole Jeffrey Epstein thing. Vladimir Putin controlling
- 1:12Epstein. Yes. Totally a thing. Totally a thing
- 1:18Also, we'll discuss Trump's son -in -law Jared
- 1:23Kushner with an alleged phone hack by the Russians
- 1:27and But maybe maybe and of allegedly two billion
- 1:32dollars in Saudi and Emirati and other Gulf nation
- 1:37funding Could be Ted could be could be And also
- 1:45this one, I think we'll get pushback from Robbie
- 1:47on this one, but apparently. Robbie who's ever
- 1:51heard of such a thing? An ancient virus. Apparently
- 1:56helped create the current human brain as we know
- 2:00it today. A virus going back millions and millions
- 2:04of years. And the reason I say Robbie is going
- 2:06to push back is because you know he says Earth
- 2:09is only I don't know how many thousands Robbie.
- 2:12How many thousands of years? 6 ,000 and change,
- 2:15right? Yes, Ravi says yes. And last but not least,
- 2:20Ted, we got to talk about Airbnb. You're a big,
- 2:23big, big traveler. I used to be, I guess maybe
- 2:25I'm not right now because my kids are little,
- 2:28but I used to be a big traveler too, but Airbnb
- 2:31has changed some rules for folks who are the
- 2:36hosts of Airbnbs. Apparently, you don't get free
- 2:39labor. out of us who rent anymore. Yeah. So we'll
- 2:46tell you what those rule changes are as you get
- 2:48ready for holiday travel. So I think that's pretty
- 2:51cool news. So we'll we'll jump into all of those.
- 2:55Any housekeeping, Robbie, anything we got to
- 2:56do? Nope. All right. Let's hop to it. All right.
- 3:06This one. Oh, I got to put this up because I
- 3:08want I want everyone I want everyone to see this
- 3:11dude, Ted. I feel like I've heard his name before,
- 3:16a guy called David Riboy. Have you ever heard
- 3:18of him? No, I think I would remember the, just
- 3:22like the, it's an unusual name. Very unusual.
- 3:25I feel like I've heard his name, but I never
- 3:28connected. It's memory is a funny thing. And
- 3:31it's kind of like, you, sometimes you're like,
- 3:35I know I didn't hear about this because I would
- 3:38have remembered this. It's the kind of thing
- 3:41I would have remembered. It's sort of like when
- 3:43someone says, oh, but Ted, you said and I'm like,
- 3:46no, I know I wouldn't have said that because
- 3:48I don't ever think anything like that. Yeah.
- 3:52So this guy. So here's his book. We're not obviously
- 3:54not promoting his book because it sounds like
- 3:57it would be. I have to say, I love the art on
- 3:59this book cover. I do like that. I mean, it's
- 4:01like very like cool and like 1960s like abstract.
- 4:06Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I was like whoever did the
- 4:09cover deserves an award. It's cool. Yeah, it's
- 4:11a very good. It's a good cover And good color
- 4:15good colors, although, you know, is that an excerpt
- 4:18from the atlantic or Where well that you're showing
- 4:22No, this is on his website on dave boy .com All
- 4:29right, that's the book. So he's like he's out
- 4:32there obviously pushing his book. Um, dave rubin
- 4:36He's he's showing comments from people like Dave
- 4:38Rubin and also So I'm gonna let him say it in
- 4:43his own words in a minute here But obviously
- 4:46he got Ben Shapiro my favorite. I mean obviously
- 4:50such a good person Obviously you want Ben Shapiro
- 4:56to review your book and tout what a great guy
- 4:59you are because Feel like if you're if you wake
- 5:04up every day and you don't hear from Ben Shapiro
- 5:08Your day is better than it might otherwise have
- 5:11been Well, I'm sorry. I'm gonna push I'm gonna
- 5:15push some Dave Raboi and Ben Shapiro on everybody
- 5:18this morning But first let me just let me just
- 5:21read Kind of the summary and then I'll let you
- 5:24guys hear what Dave Raboi says about his own
- 5:27book now for the YouTube sensors This is okay
- 5:31for me to show Because this is on Dave Reboy's
- 5:35own website this video. It's an ad It's a pro.
- 5:39It's an ad for it's hosted on his own website
- 5:42Which is open for anybody to go to Dave Reboy
- 5:46calm you can see the video. This is on We didn't
- 5:53edit but let me let me just let me give you guys
- 5:56a quick summary so in his book the Epstein conspiracy
- 6:00Author Dave Raboi argues that Russia orchestrated
- 6:04a sophisticated disinformation campaign promoting
- 6:07the claim that Jeffrey Epstein operated a sexual
- 6:11blackmail network for Israeli intelligence. According
- 6:14to Raboi, this narrative originated with a discredited
- 6:18source before spreading through Russian state
- 6:21media, influential commentators, and major American
- 6:25podcasts. He's talking about, in this reference
- 6:27you'll see in his video, he's talking about like...
- 6:29Candice Owens and Tucker Carlson, you know anybody
- 6:33that's kind of populist that's he shows their
- 6:36picture. So Raboi contends that Moscow deliberately
- 6:40exploited So ridiculous that Moscow deliberated
- 6:47deliberately exploited anti -semitic conspiracy
- 6:50theories to undermine American institutions to
- 6:54weaken US Israeli relations and convince Americans
- 6:58that their government serves foreign interests.
- 7:02Drawing on Russian political theorist Alexander
- 7:04Dugan, Raboi argues that these operations constitute
- 7:08foreign attacks requiring an aggressive national
- 7:12security response. Now, so here's this next part
- 7:15is my rebuke because as soon as I read and saw
- 7:18this, I was like, this is I can't believe like
- 7:20somebody published this guy. So at what point
- 7:23does blaming Russia for virtually every Troubling
- 7:28American political development becomes when does
- 7:32it become its own conspiracy theory? Right like
- 7:34it's got to be conspiracy theory stuff at this
- 7:37point, right? So Russia undoubtedly Conducts
- 7:40information warfare every country does But the
- 7:43leap from Russian media Ted that's counting us
- 7:47because we were all you know Russia Russia Russia
- 7:51media Amplifying a narrative to Moscow, actually
- 7:55manufacturing it requires compelling evidence.
- 7:58Correlation, ideological alignment, and geopolitical
- 8:02convenience do not establish authorship. Americans
- 8:07have legitimate reasons to question Epstein's
- 8:09powerful connections. The government's handling
- 8:12of these crimes, and we know they're crimes,
- 8:15is convicted on them. Hello? and the extraordinary
- 8:19secrecy surrounding his activities. Those questions
- 8:22deserve scrutiny without automatically being
- 8:24dismissed as Kremlin propaganda. Nor does questioning
- 8:28American foreign policy toward Israel necessarily
- 8:31constitute anti -Semitism. So stop conflating
- 8:34the two. Perhaps the greatest danger of perpetually
- 8:39invoking the Russian boogeyman is that it discourages
- 8:43Americans from examining their own institutions.
- 8:48Sometimes America's problems are made in America,
- 8:51everybody, and blaming Moscow should never be
- 8:55substitute for demanding answers at home. I would
- 8:59say that's all fair points, right? But now listen
- 9:04to Dude talking about his own book. You've heard
- 9:10it everywhere on social media and on podcasts
- 9:13that Jeffrey Epstein worked for Mossad, running
- 9:15a decades -long sexual blackmail operation to
- 9:18trap and control American leaders on behalf of
- 9:20Israel. The mystery of his staggering wealth,
- 9:23his private island, and his suspicious death
- 9:25sent millions of Americans looking for a motive
- 9:28for Epstein's crimes. This one seemed to explain
- 9:30the dark forces supposedly controlling their
- 9:33country. Only it's not true. I'm David Raboi.
- 9:36My new book, The Epstein Conspiracy, follows
- 9:39this lie through books, Russian state media,
- 9:42and some of America's biggest podcasts. The whole
- 9:44story rests on one man, Ari Ben Menasha, a serial
- 9:48fabricator, paid by warlords and Russia -linked
- 9:51regimes to manufacture fake intelligence against
- 9:53their enemies. And here's the craziest part.
- 9:56He's done the same thing before. In 1991, he
- 9:59invented the story that media baron Robert Maxwell
- 10:02was also a Mossad spy. He spent decades feeding
- 10:05that story into books until people accepted it
- 10:08as history. Then, just weeks after Epstein's
- 10:11death, he claimed the same about Epstein and
- 10:13offered no evidence. His story from 30 years
- 10:16ago became the supposed proof of his new one.
- 10:20So the same man ran the same information operation
- 10:22twice, and much of the world bought it. It was
- 10:25only possible through source laundering, where
- 10:28people hear the same allegation in different
- 10:30places and mistake repetition for independent
- 10:32confirmation. The forensic trail points straight
- 10:35to Moscow. Weaponizing the biggest story in the
- 10:38world was a state -level information operation
- 10:40designed to fracture America from within. We've
- 10:43already seen a historic rise in anti -Semitic
- 10:46violence in America, but the real prize for Moscow
- 10:48goes far beyond any military alliance in the
- 10:51Middle East, beyond Israel or even Jews. It targets
- 10:54America's capacity to govern itself, and the
- 10:57damage is already visible. Conspiracy theories
- 11:00break brains. When millions are taken in, they
- 11:03can no longer think clearly or make decisions
- 11:05based on reality for themselves or for their
- 11:08country. The intended result? An America consumed
- 11:11by the hunt for a phantom enemy and defenseless
- 11:14against a real one. The Epstein conspiracy. How
- 11:17Russia turned a lie about Jeffrey Epstein into
- 11:20a weapon against America, Israel, and Jews. Out
- 11:23now. So Ted, other than the great cover and obviously
- 11:32the great editing, that was done for his video
- 11:35launch. Because I do think stylistically, it
- 11:38looks good, whatever. By the way, I'm sorry to
- 11:42interrupt, Medilla. But you know, I looked it
- 11:44up while this was playing. It's self -published.
- 11:49He didn't get a publisher to publish this. Oh,
- 11:52good. So he did all this on his own. There's
- 11:57nothing wrong with self -publishing. My next
- 11:58cartoon book comes out shortly, and it's self
- 12:01-published. I was just going to be mad if somebody
- 12:05gave him a book deal for this garbage. I'm not
- 12:08surprised. That didn't happen, but he obviously
- 12:10spent some money in, you know, in terms of the
- 12:12promotion and the packaging. Oh, yeah. It looks
- 12:15great. It looks great. One thing about the Maxwell
- 12:18connection he was trying to do, y 'all fact check
- 12:20me on this. Maxwell is buried on the Mount of
- 12:24Olives, which only happens to heroes of the Israeli
- 12:29state. So to imply that he was not a massage
- 12:44agent, and he just happened to fall over, fall
- 12:47off his yacht and naked and drowned, just was
- 12:51a quickie dink. And then his daughter was directly
- 12:53connected. Right. Yeah, that's left out. Presumably
- 12:57that's in the book, I hope. He has to address
- 13:00that. The gasoline aspect is, you know, hello.
- 13:04Right. Like, how is this guy? As everyone in
- 13:08the chats are saying like this guy is straight
- 13:10-up gaslighting everybody to our to be honest
- 13:13here I never bought in completely. I'm not opposed
- 13:16to it I'm and I'm agnostic on the question of
- 13:20whether Epstein was running a honeypot operation
- 13:22in order to lure Lurian influential people on
- 13:27behalf. I mean he was but on behalf of the Israeli
- 13:32government, right? It could be I mean, I believe
- 13:34it's for that it could have just been personal
- 13:35could be for him. Yeah Believe it could be for
- 13:38him. I don't think there's really solid evidence
- 13:40that I've seen for the Mossad aspect here But
- 13:44him, but yeah, obviously he had connections and
- 13:47and tendrils going I think he's a he's a hustler
- 13:51right or he was a hustler. He knew everyone He
- 13:53knew everyone and you know, like my question
- 13:56is how did Epstein? Get his start like teaching
- 14:01at that that that luxury private school right
- 14:06right yeah there's a lot of things like that
- 14:08where it's like obviously yeah he had connections
- 14:10and he had connections to begin with nobody really
- 14:12knows exactly nobody's really drawn that tree
- 14:15of like exactly how did this happen how did that
- 14:17happen how did right but it doesn't necessarily
- 14:20mean it's it's musaad it i mean for all we know
- 14:23he could have could have been i don't know an
- 14:25emirati agent it could have been a saudi what
- 14:27he what's so interesting though is that but i
- 14:29think he's casting doubt on a sketchy theory
- 14:34about Epstein being a Mossad agent. And in so
- 14:38doing, it's just spitting an alternative theory
- 14:41that actually the boogeyman is Vladimir Putin.
- 14:45And like you said in your rebuke, Manila, certainly
- 14:49Russia is involved in information warfare. It
- 14:52has to be. Everybody is. Everybody does it. Right.
- 14:56Now, the thing is, though, this was not a look,
- 15:01this was not a Russian operation. to make Americans
- 15:05lose faith in their government. Okay. That's
- 15:08not what happened here. Yeah. Listen, I think
- 15:12to say that he's a massage agent, I don't think
- 15:15that's accurate. I think that he was a freelance
- 15:17agent that was hired by multiple intelligence
- 15:20agencies. I think that an asset would be more
- 15:23accurate. Yeah. And, and, and one of the things
- 15:27just I'll go away with this is illegal. technically
- 15:30for the United States to spy on its own citizens.
- 15:33So back in the day, they would hire the Brits
- 15:34to do it for them. Is that why they're not breaking
- 15:36the law? So to say that - That's true. Outsourcing.
- 15:40Of course. And that's what Epstein was. So you
- 15:44have him, you have the fact that his girlfriend,
- 15:47his madam, her dad is buried in the Israeli Arlington.
- 15:51Didn't apply. Yeah. Oh, he had no connection
- 15:54to the Jewish state. Pissed on my back and told
- 15:56me it's raining. uh no i know i know that's all
- 15:59this is it's done so the maxwell stuff is well
- 16:02established i know this guy that's what drives
- 16:05me nuts is he's sitting here saying it with a
- 16:08straight face to us right well and basically
- 16:11it's this whole thing well you know it's a part
- 16:12of russia this is kind of like designist denial
- 16:15right like in other words um you know we're constantly
- 16:19being told that we should not think that if we
- 16:23say that israel has disproportionate influence
- 16:26on US politics, but that's an anti -Semitic trope.
- 16:31Now, the fact is that no country, you know, people
- 16:34are like, well, why do you pick on Israel? The
- 16:36reason that we pick on Israel is simple. It's
- 16:39the number one recipient of us military and foreign
- 16:43aid and has been it's not like just this year
- 16:46or that last year It has been for decades. Yeah
- 16:50ever since the camp david accords, right and
- 16:52before that So the point is we send more money
- 16:55to israel this tiny little country We're not
- 16:57even pro -rating it like by population, right?
- 17:00Like if we did it would be ridiculously off the
- 17:03charts because it's a minute little country,
- 17:04but we send them more money than we send to all
- 17:08other countries, right? So therefore, we should
- 17:11be more interested in what they do and what happens
- 17:14over there. And also, because they are a welfare
- 17:19queen state, they have to have a lobbying, basically
- 17:26like they need APAC to be whispering sweet nothings
- 17:30and putting money in the right pockets to make
- 17:33sure that the flow of cash is ongoing. I guarantee
- 17:37you that if the US had a permanent no more aid
- 17:40to Israel policy, AIPAC would shut down. It would
- 17:44go away. There'd be no need for it. It's only
- 17:47just basically, it only exists to ensure the
- 17:51continuation of that flow of cash. Now, that's
- 17:55not anti -Semitic conspiracy shit. It's not even
- 17:59anti -Zionist. It's simply a statement of fact
- 18:02that the US Supports Israel and like all the
- 18:06spin like oh we get you know They they spend
- 18:08that money to buy stuff from American companies
- 18:12or they provide us with vital Intel That's all
- 18:15smoke and mirrors and bullshit I mean the fact
- 18:18is we're sending money to them. We they need
- 18:21us we don't need them and that's how it is and
- 18:24And so like why they're trying to distract from
- 18:27that and say be scared of the Russians He just
- 18:31exploiting the whole Russia narrative from because
- 18:33it's there Yeah, and then he knows he knows that
- 18:37that shit will get him into the pages of all
- 18:40these like Russophobic, you know like neocon
- 18:44liberal institutions like the New York Times
- 18:47and the The Atlantic Axios places MSNBC. They
- 18:54love it. They eat that shit up. I mean I mean
- 18:57if you could probably if you could find the absolute
- 19:00proof Debunking russia gate like, you know 100
- 19:03percent airtight Put it in a book. There's it's
- 19:08unimpeachable. No one can say, you know, no one
- 19:12could fucking deny it Do you think it would ever
- 19:15be mentioned in those same institutions in those
- 19:17same media outlets? No, it would be like It's
- 19:23been debunked enough and people still Don't accept.
- 19:26Oh, it's debunked to anybody who's fair minded,
- 19:28right? I mean, of course, but like to, you know,
- 19:31anybody who kind of comes to it like cold and
- 19:33it's like, okay, let's see. Look, before I started,
- 19:36before I took the job at Sputnik, I did a, I
- 19:40was deeply concerned that the, that, that, you
- 19:43know, that Sputnik or RT or Russia, we're fucking
- 19:48around with American elections and stuff. And
- 19:50if I'd ever found out In any way shape or form
- 19:53that that was the case. I would have never worked
- 19:55for the russians. It's like it's like I was determined
- 19:59not to ever be Tired with that kind of brush
- 20:03right and like I was like this would ruin me
- 20:06I knew as it was that there would be all sorts
- 20:08of But you know, I knew people would talk shit
- 20:11about me anyway But the person I worry about
- 20:15the most is myself. Can I live with myself? And
- 20:18like if I thought If I thought Russia was like
- 20:21fucking around with American elections in good
- 20:23conscience, I could have nothing to do with them.
- 20:26I dug so deep and I Satisfied myself, you know,
- 20:30this is definitely there's no there there Not
- 20:34only is there no there there there could be no
- 20:36there there and so I was like, okay This is bullshit
- 20:39and I don't have to worry about it and people
- 20:41can talk shit about me People talk are gonna
- 20:43talk shit about you. No matter what You might
- 20:45as well just live your life and do your thing.
- 20:47And if you're the person that you have to live
- 20:50with when you wake up in the morning and look
- 20:52in the mirror. Right. So, yeah, I mean, this
- 20:54is the it's the Russia thing. I'm so it is a
- 20:59it's a mild virus. I mean, just, you know, on
- 21:02my on Facebook the other day, I just posted like,
- 21:06when are people going to wake up about Ukraine?
- 21:08What's up with the liberals? People went crazy.
- 21:11Like, it's like it's like, guys, you're you're
- 21:15You're in bed like it's a democracy. No, it's
- 21:18not it's you know, it's a fascist state like
- 21:21you literally it's like It's a democracy that
- 21:24won't hold elections at all It's as much a democracy
- 21:29opposition parties are banned opposition politicians
- 21:32are in prison or house arrest Opposition media
- 21:36outlets are banned like the the American Right
- 21:41and left will not not your kind of left. I mean
- 21:44the Democrats if they if they Say that for example
- 21:50Palestine is not a democracy and you know doesn't
- 21:54technically exist but the government that they
- 21:57have there Hasn't held an election in over 25
- 22:00years number and that's true and that's all true
- 22:03and they say Hamas is kind of the unelected leader
- 22:07leadership of the country. That's true. That's
- 22:10true. Although although there, you know, they
- 22:12flip it around. They accuse the Gazans. They
- 22:14say, well, you elected Hamas. Right. It's like,
- 22:18not really. No, really. But anyway, that's beside
- 22:21the point. But if we're going to say that that
- 22:23that the Gazans picked Hamas and they're a terror
- 22:27organization, then well, the the Ukraine, the
- 22:31Yuki's didn't elect Zelensky anymore. He they
- 22:36elected him eight years ago. Right. And that
- 22:39ended two and three years ago at this point.
- 22:41Correct. Like they didn't want to have him elected
- 22:44anymore. And that's why he's not holding elections
- 22:46is because he would be un -elected. He would
- 22:49lose. He would lose. Yeah. He would get smashed
- 22:52right out of office. So, look, Roboy puts RT
- 22:55on there. I knew I thought I saw a flash for
- 22:57a moment. So it's on there. I'm surprised he
- 22:59didn't put Sputnik on there. But Ted. the dude
- 23:05the dude is just he's he's obviously he's got
- 23:09to be like pro israel right like that oh yeah
- 23:11no that's the point of this right what's the
- 23:13point of this book that is the whole point of
- 23:15this right don't look like look bart's doing
- 23:19stuff don't look over here look over there right
- 23:22like what on earth like what would drive you
- 23:27to come to this conclusion where we've connected
- 23:30we the public does he know that we have access
- 23:34to News and other data points that even that
- 23:38don't go to mainstream media that we can connect
- 23:41Well, yeah, but he's clever in that he knows
- 23:45there's interest in Epstein and He knows that
- 23:49there's an on there's a bottomless appetite for
- 23:52anything that points to Russia as nefarious So
- 23:56I'm just we're still not over this and I'm just
- 23:59going to an election. Yeah, and the Ukraine stuff
- 24:04You know, it has not lost any of its power. He's
- 24:08brilliant for dragging in all of all of these.
- 24:12Well, the geniuses. Look, the American people
- 24:14don't know better because they've never been
- 24:16told better. Right. You can. Here's the thing
- 24:18is like you can be I understand like people who
- 24:21don't follow the news very much, blah, blah,
- 24:22blah. But what's truly terrifying is you can
- 24:27be a college educated, very well informed. regular
- 24:34news consumer of reputable news outlets like
- 24:37the Washington Post, the New York Times, read
- 24:39them every single day. You can read, you know,
- 24:43you can watch the CBS Evening News every night.
- 24:45You can watch CNN hours a day. And you do all
- 24:48those things. Now, 40 years ago, all of those
- 24:51things would have made you a reasonably well
- 24:53-informed person. And you probably have, you
- 24:56know, yes, there's propaganda and all that, but
- 24:5990, you'd be 95 % up on what's really going on.
- 25:03That's not true anymore. Like now you watch all
- 25:06that shit and you don't even know half of what's
- 25:09going on Because it's so it's so infested with
- 25:13propaganda and there's no alternate voices allowed
- 25:16and there's no truth allowed to see pin It's
- 25:18so carefully. It's so captured That's the difference.
- 25:23That's the thing is that like to be a well -educated
- 25:26elite in the United States is no longer to be
- 25:30well -informed that's terrifying yeah this is
- 25:35i i just thought this was like a funny thing
- 25:37because he's starting to pick up steam and i
- 25:39could see why now i went to his his website obviously
- 25:42and um ted you gotta go see his instagram i don't
- 25:46know how old he is but he looks like he's in
- 25:50his 50s right wouldn't you say maybe maybe six
- 25:53maybe early 60s but anyway i went to his instagram
- 25:55and i would urge you all to do the same thing
- 25:58from the neck down he's he's roided up as hell
- 26:01Really Roy did I I mean I don't want to get a
- 26:06lawsuit but from Slapped against me but from
- 26:09what I can see there is no middle -aged man that
- 26:12looks like that naturally Well, it's not like
- 26:15what what's he gonna sue for that you're speculating
- 26:18that he's roided Yeah, I think he's right it
- 26:21up as hell and Blake. Thank you for the donation
- 26:24Blake says who needs to go Tuesday when you could
- 26:27have Teddy titty Tuesday, let's go! Oh my god,
- 26:31Blake brings it over to the TMI show. Blake,
- 26:34Blake, Blake. Tara Prada -Wild says, Robbie,
- 26:37Robbie doesn't know apparently I left a message
- 26:39in the original stream chat to come over to this
- 26:42one. And Astonishing says, I thought Aaron Maté
- 26:47already debunked Russiagate. Everybody has debunked
- 26:49Russiagate. But yeah, if you guys go to, I don't
- 26:52want to put his Instagram. I mean, James Comey
- 26:53debunked. Russia gate I don't want to look I
- 26:58don't want to put this on the screen because
- 26:59it's too it's it's too early for our West Coast
- 27:02friends But if you go to his Instagram, so he's
- 27:06like a wannabe bodybuilder, huh? And he shows
- 27:10a lot of Scantily clad Yeah, go look it's I'm
- 27:19not gonna put it up because it's I was kind of
- 27:22like a part of me was like dry heaving Because
- 27:27he's so foul on what he's claiming to report
- 27:31and what he says Just you guys can go look at
- 27:37his Instagram on your own Dude is half naked
- 27:40and half the photos and the other half. Oh, I'm
- 27:43looking now. Holy shit. I told you Ted you're
- 27:47gonna tell me that's a natural body in No, no,
- 27:51of course not. Like, you know, here's the thing
- 27:52like If you look at pictures of bodybuilders
- 27:56from a hundred years ago, you know, those old
- 27:57timey ones with the stripey outfits, they didn't
- 28:00look like this. Those guys didn't have roids.
- 28:03They just, they just had weights and food. Yeah.
- 28:07This guy, I would say he's between 55 and 60ish.
- 28:12He is terrifying. Yeah. Yes. So I don't know
- 28:18if he's writing. in the middle of, of roid rage.
- 28:23And he's like, Russia, Russia. And like, I love
- 28:28Israel. Very strange. But I, I think I urge you
- 28:33guys to all go see his, um, his Instagram, David
- 28:37boy, R E a B O I is his last name. Go look at
- 28:42his Instagram on your own. I warned you. So before
- 28:46you like rub your eyes and you're like, Oh, my
- 28:49eyes. My eyes, my eyes. I warned you. I'm just
- 28:52letting you know. I'm just not putting it on
- 28:54our airtime because I'm kind of like, no, thank
- 28:59you. Hard pass. I don't want to do it. Anyway,
- 29:02we'll move on to the next story, but there you
- 29:04go. This is Russia. By the way, you can't make
- 29:08this shit up. So David Urboy was accused. So
- 29:14he filed under Farah. He worked as an agent of
- 29:19Viktor Orbán. He received 35k from the Hungarian
- 29:24embassy six years ago. To what? To promote, to
- 29:32paid advocacy, oh, to criticize Qatar and say
- 29:37that Qatar sucked. Yeah, yeah. Let's see. And
- 29:46Viktor Orbán is a buddy of Vladimir Putin. Right.
- 29:52So this might be an employment dispute. You know
- 29:57what I mean? In October of this year, that's
- 30:04now, he called for the prosecution of leakers
- 30:07tied to drop site news, accusing a drop site
- 30:11news of supporting terrorism. That's Ryan Grim's
- 30:14outlet. Yeah. Anna Kasparian got angry at him,
- 30:19questioned whether... U .S. foreign policy towards
- 30:23Israel and Iran should face similar material
- 30:26support scrutiny. Yeah. This image, Alexander
- 30:31Dugan is sitting there. This is the video, I
- 30:35believe, taken from the Tucker Carlson interview
- 30:38with Alexander Dugan. No, he's a Zionist. I mean,
- 30:40I'm looking at it right now. There's the combat
- 30:42anti -Semitism movement is promoting his book.
- 30:48That's what this is all about. OK, so he's OK.
- 30:52you so you guys go before he starts blowing up
- 30:55all over the press this is who he is this is
- 30:58what he's about and maybe somewhere oh he writes
- 31:01for tablet which is a zionist rag somebody is
- 31:06paying him for this ted i don't think he just
- 31:09decided to write this book somebody's paying
- 31:12i don't know who but somebody anti russia is
- 31:16paying for this yeah yeah yeah this slop this
- 31:19is this is some slop so there you guys go So
- 31:22go check that out. Go check out. If you want
- 31:24to be grossed out, check out his Instagram. Well,
- 31:26we know someone's paying them. But I know the
- 31:29Daily Wire is going broke. And that's one of
- 31:31the reasons why the Daily Wire, that that virtue,
- 31:34that pillar of conservative thought is in bed
- 31:36now, a couchy encouraging people to go to go
- 31:39gamble. Oh, yeah, because they're desperate.
- 31:43I mean, they got rid of they got rid of that
- 31:46boring dude who was there is name boring. I can't
- 31:50remember his first name. Oh, Jeremy Boring. They
- 31:52got rid of him. They laid off more than half
- 31:55of him. I thought he was a co -founder. How can
- 31:56you get rid of him? Ben Shapiro has the Benjamins,
- 32:01as they say. So what he says happens. So yeah,
- 32:05I mean, of course they're getting paid. And that's
- 32:07what they're doing. They're ginning this up.
- 32:09And I have no doubt that the Israel lobby is
- 32:12trying to deflect like they always do. And blame
- 32:15Russia. Of course. They got to keep that warning.
- 32:18Blame Russia for everything. Just everything.
- 32:20Yeah, that's true. That's true. All right, speaking
- 32:22of which, next topic, Ted, this one's you. It's
- 32:26still Russia. A hacked cell phone, Russian spies,
- 32:32Middle Eastern royalty, and billions of dollars
- 32:35in mysterious bank transfers sounds like the
- 32:37plot of a political thriller, but the dude at
- 32:40the center of the story is Jared Kushner, Trump's
- 32:44son -in -law. An investigation published by Vanity
- 32:47Fair claims that Kushner secretly had access
- 32:50to about $2 billion in foreign accounts funded
- 32:54by the leaders of Saudi Arabia and the UAE while
- 32:57serving as a senior White House advisor during
- 33:00Trump 1 .0 administration. This is all out of
- 33:04a new book by Matthew Cole called Princes and
- 33:07Thieves. According to Cole, Russian military
- 33:10intelligence hacked Kushner's phone in 2017.
- 33:16Dutch intelligence agencies subsequently recruited
- 33:19a Russian operative who was aware of this and
- 33:22gained access to the compromised phone. Then,
- 33:27Dutch spies allegedly watched Kushner access
- 33:30a Dubai bank account containing hundreds of millions
- 33:33of dollars transferred through Azerbaijan. Cole
- 33:37says one account held about $750 million, with
- 33:40Kushner authorized to access funds ostensibly
- 33:43controlled by an Emirati charity, which was actually
- 33:46a front. Another alleged account held about a
- 33:51billion bucks routed through Israel's central
- 33:54bank, like the Fed of Israel. The money, according
- 33:58to Cole's sources, was intended to finance secret
- 34:01diplomatic initiatives and buy influence over
- 34:04US foreign policy. Some of the money allegedly
- 34:06went to individuals connected to mercenary operations.
- 34:10Obviously, this is a very serious accusation
- 34:14because at the time Kushner was helping to negotiate
- 34:17Middle Eastern policy, he was Trump's envoy,
- 34:20involving the very governments providing that
- 34:23money. However, Kushner categorically denies
- 34:26the allegations saying that they're fake news.
- 34:30The attorneys say the author has produced no
- 34:33bank statements, wire transfer records, or independently
- 34:38verifiable evidence. They have threatened legal
- 34:40action. As always, Ted Raul looks in a denial
- 34:44like this to say, okay, you've issued a full
- 34:46-throated denial. That's impressive. But when
- 34:50I'm going to start to take you seriously, Jared,
- 34:52is if you file a defamation claim and you expose
- 34:55yourself to discovery. If you don't, I'm not
- 34:58going to believe you. CBS News said it has not
- 35:01independently verified the book's allegations.
- 35:04The Bank of Israel disputes the account. There's
- 35:07another financial controversy about Kushner.
- 35:09After he left the White House in 2021, his private
- 35:13equity firm, Affinity Partners, received a $2
- 35:16billion investment, billion, from Saudi Arabia's
- 35:19sovereign wealth fund. That publicly reported
- 35:22investment is separate from the newly alleged
- 35:25secret accounts and the two should not be confused.
- 35:29Now Kushner is again participating in international
- 35:31diplomacy under Trump. despite operating as an
- 35:35unpaid presidential advisor rather than as a
- 35:37Senate confirmed official. The government watchdog
- 35:40has filed suit challenging that arrangement and
- 35:44the financial transparency or lack thereof. The
- 35:46central question is were foreign governments
- 35:49secretly financing American diplomacy and if
- 35:52so what did they get or expect in return? Obviously
- 35:56this is a very strange story and it's weird that
- 36:00the Russians seem to probably know the answer
- 36:03to these questions. I don't doubt, Ted, that
- 36:10the Russian hackers probably did hack into Kushner's
- 36:14phone, but what they're saying here is that the
- 36:18Dutch CIA or whatever, the Dutch CIA flipped
- 36:25a Russian hacker that hacked this phone and they
- 36:29were able to view Kushner doing like bank transactions
- 36:34in real time and Then and this is published in
- 36:38Vanity Fair Ted This isn't like some rag like
- 36:42Dave Raboi writes for right, right? This is Vanity
- 36:45Fair. Um So I don't what what what should we
- 36:50make of this? I mean, I feel like I want to trust
- 36:53the reporting because it's on Vanity Fair Well,
- 36:57it's not really Vanity Fair reporting, right?
- 37:00It's Vanity Fair excerpting a book. So the real
- 37:05question is how did the fact -checking go with
- 37:08Matthew Cole's book, which presumably is unlike
- 37:12the other book we talked about published by a
- 37:15major publisher, I would think. I'll look that
- 37:18up now. Yeah, so this yeah i've ted is the publishing
- 37:22expert i've never published a book ted's published
- 37:24a thousand books like all the ones behind him
- 37:26It's simon and schuster. So yeah, it's a real
- 37:29publisher. Mm -hmm. So do you think simon and
- 37:32schuster is Well, they would have fact -checked.
- 37:34They would have fact -checked it they would have
- 37:36had to because uh, Whenever you have would you
- 37:39publish something like this calm, right? Trust
- 37:41me. I i've been through this process. Um, if
- 37:44you publish anything that uh, you know could
- 37:47uh, you know Caught give rise to a defamation
- 37:51claim They might not publish it even if everything
- 37:53you have to say is true just because they might
- 37:55not want the hassle Right, but you know, but
- 38:00especially if they decide they're gonna they're
- 38:01willing to take the chance They're gonna fact
- 38:03-check it the shit out of it It's gonna limit
- 38:05their liability their exposure and they want
- 38:08to make sure everything they publish is true
- 38:09because truth is an absolute defense to defamation
- 38:12in court, so I don't know. I think that's a Probably
- 38:19John Doe. I have an answer for that. I have an
- 38:24answer for that. So John Doe, I think Jared Kushner,
- 38:27yes, one, when you sell your soul to Satan, your
- 38:33body gets preserved like you're like pickled,
- 38:35right? Number one. Number two, I think, and it's
- 38:39just a manila theory, but I do think some of
- 38:43those billions of dollars that the Saudis or
- 38:46Emiratis might have given Jared Kushner, I think
- 38:49went to some plastic surgeons in New York City.
- 38:53Yeah, I think that's probably true. And definitely,
- 38:56definitely. And this is like, I mean, I've I've
- 38:58worked in I'm from LA, number one. So I like
- 39:02I have a strong baseline understanding of what
- 39:06this looks like. Rhinoplasty. No, no, he didn't
- 39:09he He's botoxed all to hell, like his whole face.
- 39:14His face, that's why he's expressionless and
- 39:17why he's not wrinkling. I mean, and about that
- 39:21too, like whatever, all of them. It's that whole
- 39:24Mar -a -Lago look that we've discussed, right?
- 39:27But I'm willing to bet that some of those billions
- 39:29of dollars went to some high -end plastic surgeons
- 39:33in New York City, in Manhattan, somewhere. And
- 39:36a couple - I would agree with that. a couple
- 39:38of injections here and there. It's a thing, I'm
- 39:41not knocking him for it, I'm saying it's a thing
- 39:43and men are starting to do it. It's very common.
- 39:46And you know, Jared's my age, maybe he's a year
- 39:49or two older, but he's like late 40s. So, you
- 39:52know, people do that. Maybe it's just cause he's
- 39:56pure of heart. Yes, so either you're totally
- 40:01pure of heart or it's because you sold your soul
- 40:04to the devil. And maybe he drinks the blood of
- 40:07unicorns. It could be. Um, but either way, yeah,
- 40:11Jared's face is not, when you don't move your
- 40:13face, Ted, you don't get wrinkles. If you have
- 40:15no expressions, you're not going to get wrinkles.
- 40:18Um, so that's why Jared looks like that, like
- 40:21he did 10 years ago is because he's frozen his
- 40:24face in time. He's just totally frozen. Um, yeah,
- 40:30whatever. But I do think, look, one thing we
- 40:33know for sure, Ted, I don't know. Okay. Given
- 40:37that Vanity Fair's quoting the book and really
- 40:41putting it on blast. Simon and Schuster publishing
- 40:45the book, and I do think they have a strong fact
- 40:48-checking department, right? Like they wouldn't
- 40:50just willy -nilly publish like a David Raboy
- 40:53book. No, no. That's for sure. I'm sure he came
- 40:58to them and they said no, right? So yeah, they
- 41:03laughed at him. He went in there shirtless. No,
- 41:06but this book, This book saying that Kushner
- 41:11is basically compromised I'm I'm apt to believe
- 41:16it. I look we know right right after like moments
- 41:21after Trump ditched Joe Biden's inauguration
- 41:26ceremony right and took off in the chopper Moments
- 41:29later. I mean while the chopper was in the air
- 41:32and he was no longer the first son -in -law he
- 41:35had billions of dollars transferred from a sovereign
- 41:39wealth fund by the Saudis to as an investment
- 41:42into his whatever his hedge fund or some building
- 41:45project or something or another. But that's a
- 41:48proven fact. Like that's on the books that's
- 41:51documented. The Saudis dumped billions of dollars
- 41:53into some fund that Kushner headed up. Yeah,
- 41:58that's not a secret. So another couple of billion
- 42:02here and there under the table. is not unreasonable,
- 42:08I would say. No, it's not impossible. And I hate
- 42:14to break this to some people, but this is how
- 42:18dirty work is done in Washington and whether
- 42:21or not barring. It's on a massive scale though.
- 42:26Yeah, barring the Epstein sex scandal stuff.
- 42:31If you if you guys don't focus on the sex part,
- 42:34I know that's a major part of the whole Epstein
- 42:36lore well, yeah, but but He Epstein was also
- 42:42known as a prolific arms trader. He's a he was
- 42:45a Like a wheeling and dealing negotiator guy.
- 42:49This is how because Governments need a dude to
- 42:53do the dirty work. And so Epstein did that so
- 42:58either he was like He's the connector number
- 43:01one right like connecting Powerful people from
- 43:04this country with the leader of this country
- 43:06or another power power player in that country
- 43:09Well Kushner Not not saying anything about child
- 43:14trafficking. I'm not saying that but he is obviously
- 43:16a major connection point in US politics obviously
- 43:22right obviously, so if governments want things
- 43:27done they're gonna give Kushner, they're gonna,
- 43:31you know, grease his palms a little bit. Cause
- 43:34he's not just gonna, he's not just gonna be like,
- 43:37you know, let me talk to my father -in -law out
- 43:39of the goodness of his heart. This is how things
- 43:41are done. This is how it's always been done.
- 43:44It's around the world and every culture, every,
- 43:46so I'm not saying I'm not defending Kushner because
- 43:49this, if this is true, this would be a major.
- 43:53major would be criminal major criminal behavior
- 43:56major federal offense major if true if provable
- 44:01I mean it could order on treason oh for sure
- 44:04but I'm just saying for all of history this is
- 44:10how it's been done true so I'm I'm not shocked
- 44:14by it so I'm I would be one to believe the author
- 44:19yeah but but Russia Ted ties to Russia Well,
- 44:24I mean, you know, and this is this does tie into
- 44:26the Russian thing Where it's like they get a
- 44:29lot of information and they tend just to just
- 44:32to just keep it And they sit on it like a like
- 44:36a like a goose sitting on an egg. They don't
- 44:38they don't spend it It's like think about like
- 44:41you remember the dnc hacking, right? so You know,
- 44:45we know we know for a fact that you know, the
- 44:48that russia did Know they did get into the dnc
- 44:53But it was not through Julian Assange, right?
- 44:57I mean, that's not what happened and so basically
- 45:01The Russian everybody was hacking into the DNC
- 45:05Apparently they had like they and so the Russians
- 45:08went in they were one of many foreign powers
- 45:11They went in and they poked around and they looked
- 45:14and they were like, okay, that's interesting
- 45:17and they just around and they probably you know,
- 45:20used that information that they got to analyze
- 45:23their take on the American elections and on the
- 45:25Democratic Party in particular. And that's where
- 45:27things sat. That's how they do things. They're
- 45:30just gathering the little information magpies.
- 45:34Right. They just collect and they're like...
- 45:38They're not really using it to manipulate. They're
- 45:40not into hacking into elections and changing
- 45:44the outcome. It's not their thing. That's the
- 45:46shit we do. No, they don't forcibly do anything.
- 45:49That's weird. They just want they want to know
- 45:51what's going on, right? They're just like like
- 45:54your nosy neighbor That's all they are right,
- 45:58right? No, no, they're not they just like being
- 46:04in the know Mm -hmm cuz knowledge is power Well,
- 46:08Ted, I was gonna argue that that we know after
- 46:11thousands of years of Russian culture. We know
- 46:13that the Russians very much They laud and appreciate
- 46:20learning and just knowing stuff. Sure. It's a
- 46:27cultural value to them, right? They really, really
- 46:31value knowledge and information in that culture.
- 46:34Because you just never know. You just need to
- 46:37know stuff. And so they, yeah, do they be hacking?
- 46:40They probably have some of the best world class
- 46:42hackers, like for sure. For sure, yeah. But another
- 46:46point I want to bring up Ted is this is why Because
- 46:50I do believe this happened to Jared Kushner.
- 46:52I do believe he got hacked and they were watching
- 46:55his phone in real time as he's like moving money
- 46:58around and scheduling Botox appointments or whatever
- 47:02As one does as any middle -aged man in his 40s
- 47:08from New York does Ted come on we all know come
- 47:11on I mean, that's why I look the way I look obviously
- 47:14but but I just want to point out that this is
- 47:19why it's dangerous to have people that are unelected
- 47:24government workers in air quotes, right? Like,
- 47:28and they're they're using unprotected phones.
- 47:34Because like the like, when you're high ranking,
- 47:37like obviously the president, the vice president,
- 47:39his cabinet, they have assigned government phones.
- 47:42So if you're going to talk about sensitive stuff,
- 47:45like it's basically siloed in its own network,
- 47:48right? It's not that it's not hackable, but it's
- 47:51at least that much harder. Here's Jared using
- 47:53his iPhone, right? Using his iPhone through like
- 47:58AT &T or whatever, like moving money around.
- 48:02Well, you know why? It's the same reason that
- 48:04Hillary had her private email server. If you
- 48:07use government equipment, you are subject to
- 48:09the Freedom of Information Act, and people can
- 48:11request that. If you use your own stuff, it's
- 48:15not government property. That's why they do it.
- 48:17It's, it's not because he's incompetent. It's
- 48:19because he's hiding from the American people.
- 48:23That's exactly right. That's a good point. And
- 48:25that again, there's no accountability if you
- 48:28aren't officially a government official. So Jared
- 48:31kind of treading on the, if all this is true
- 48:37is treading on the Epstein pathway because that's
- 48:41how Epstein started out. He was a power broker.
- 48:46He connected powerful people with other powerful
- 48:49people who wanted to do Maybe perhaps nefarious
- 48:54perhaps not nefarious. I don't know just wanted
- 48:56to do things. They wanted to get things done
- 48:59and Epstein was a means for that So be careful
- 49:03Jared Be careful Jared You're one step away from
- 49:09going full Epstein Hanging out with presidents.
- 49:14Hey, you know Just saying, Ted. Yeah. You're
- 49:18one step away from going full Epstein. Be careful,
- 49:21buddy. All right. This one here. Oh, so science,
- 49:36since humans became the smartest creatures on
- 49:39earth was because of a prehistoric viral infection,
- 49:44scientists in Sweden have uncovered remarkable
- 49:47evidence suggesting a virus that infected our
- 49:50ancient primate relatives millions and millions
- 49:54of years ago may help explain why human brains
- 49:57developed so differently from those of chimpanzees.
- 50:00The study published in Science Advances, you
- 50:04know, Ted, we love these magazines, like scientific
- 50:06magazines and journals. I love them too. Their
- 50:09names are so catchy. Science Advances examines
- 50:14a mysterious evolutionary puzzle. Humans and
- 50:17chimpanzees share nearly 99 % of their DNA, yet
- 50:21the human brain is roughly three times larger.
- 50:24So what happened there? Researchers at Lund University
- 50:28identified remnants of an ancient retrovirus.
- 50:32Not retro because it's like from old, it's old
- 50:35Ted. Because it's old and cool. is retro. This
- 50:39retrovirus, one word, embedded in chimpanzee
- 50:42DNA, but absent from humans. How about that?
- 50:47Retroviruses can insert genetic material into
- 50:52their hosts, sometimes leaving permanent changes
- 50:55that pass down through generations. Scientists
- 50:59have discovered that this particular viral DNA
- 51:02suppresses genetic activity involved in brain
- 51:05development. To test their theory, researchers
- 51:08grew miniature brain -like structures from human
- 51:12and chimpanzee stem cells. Because that's not
- 51:16creepy at all. No, what could go wrong? Growing
- 51:21mini brains of chimps and humans like in a giant
- 51:26test tube. Cool. When they remove the viral DNA
- 51:31from chimpanzee cells, previously suppressed
- 51:35genetic activity switched on. Introducing...
- 51:39I'm sure that didn't freak them out at all. So
- 51:43weird. The story is so weird. Introducing the
- 51:46viral DNA into the human cells had the opposite
- 51:50effect. So researchers believe the infection
- 51:52may have occurred some five to seven million
- 51:55years ago around the time our evolutionary ancestors
- 51:59Diverged the findings don't establish that a
- 52:01prehistoric pandemic created human intelligence
- 52:04rather They suggest ancient infections helped
- 52:07shape our evolutionary trajectory. So it kind
- 52:09of it kept the chimps dumb and we kept evolving
- 52:12and Here's something remarkable roughly eight
- 52:17percent of human DNA consists of genetic remnants
- 52:21left behind by ancient retroviruses. So we did,
- 52:26so there are other viruses that helped shape
- 52:29our human brain, but the big leap from our brain
- 52:33being that just that extra, I think it's like
- 52:37one, 2 % different than chimpanzee brains or
- 52:39bonobo brains was apparently this virus. That's
- 52:44how we diverge. Isn't that, isn't that crazy?
- 52:48Um, So it's not that God chose us to be better,
- 52:52Ted. It's that some virus kept the others dumb
- 52:55and we just kept evolving over time. It's like
- 52:59a lot of random accidents, of course. Yeah, yeah,
- 53:02yeah. But what creeped me out was imagining the
- 53:08lab in Switzerland. Yeah. Growing brains. Can
- 53:13you imagine like, oh my God. I'm so sorry I was
- 53:16drunk last night and I knocked into the table
- 53:18and everything spilled out onto the floor. They're
- 53:21just like brains floating in like in jars. Yeah,
- 53:26they literally made brains from stem cells like
- 53:29that is creepy shit. But but they were able to
- 53:35remove. Another scary part of that is that they
- 53:39were able to remove that that generational virus
- 53:46like how do you remove that from the brain the
- 53:48chimp brain that you created like that you grew
- 53:52how do you remove so is it like a thing a thing
- 53:58you can pinpoint in the brain is it like stored
- 54:02in the cerebellum somewhere like where that's
- 54:06my question is how do you remove that gene a
- 54:10gene oh I guess you remove it from the sequencing
- 54:12right like the DNA sequencing yeah I would think
- 54:14so and then they grew it i suppose right and
- 54:19then they put that into the human and that's
- 54:23totally normal and there's nothing wrong with
- 54:25it right you guys this is not scary or at all
- 54:29or strange this is not island of dr moro shit
- 54:33at all no and if you say it is then you are anti
- 54:39-semitic against the swiss um and ted we should
- 54:44point out Isn't CERN in Switzerland also? Yes,
- 54:49where the Hadron Large Particle Collider is.
- 54:55Collider. Yeah. Yeah. So Ted, what the fuck are
- 54:58they doing in Switzerland, man? They're colliding
- 55:01atoms and shit? We're up to no good. Switzerland!
- 55:06They're like, we're neutral. We're neutral. Yeah,
- 55:10they're neutral. But you know, that's the thing
- 55:11about people who are watch out for the bland.
- 55:14Because they're bored and right they're like
- 55:17we are neutral. We don't take sides and We like
- 55:21everybody but then they're over here like crashing
- 55:24Protons and atoms and shit and then making brains.
- 55:28That's exactly it Watch out for Switzerland.
- 55:31That's the dark horse of the future of Earth
- 55:34control Dark horse. I'm just saying Switzerland
- 55:38nobody saw that one coming Ted no one but I'm
- 55:40just I'm gonna call it right now Switzerland
- 55:43So when the AI takes over like the rest of the
- 55:46world, Switzerland, just I'm going to say look
- 55:48at Switzerland. Just watch out. Indeed. And if
- 55:58you've ever paid hundreds of dollars to stay
- 56:00at an Airbnb only to receive a checkout list
- 56:03longer than your grocery list, there's good news.
- 56:06Airbnb is officially putting an end to mandatory
- 56:09housekeeping chores. Beginning November 20th,
- 56:12the vacation rental giant will prohibit hosts
- 56:15from requiring guests to wash dishes. strip beds,
- 56:19do laundry, or haul garbage off the property.
- 56:24The changes follow years of complaints by frustrated
- 56:27travelers who've been expected to perform household
- 56:29chores despite paying hefty cleaning fees, sometimes
- 56:33exceeding $100. Under the new rules, hosts can
- 56:37still make reasonable requests such as putting
- 56:40dirty dishes in the sink, gathering used towels,
- 56:43or separating recyclables. But anything normally
- 56:46handled by a professional cleaner is generally
- 56:49off -limits. And I wouldn't say stripping a bed
- 56:52is something that's something that's normally
- 56:54handled by a professional cleaner. And there's
- 56:56another change. Hosts must disclose their rules
- 57:00before guests book. Well, that's reasonable.
- 57:03No more surprise chore lists taped to the fridge.
- 57:07Some Airbnb owners argue that washing dishes
- 57:09and taking out the trash are basic courtesies,
- 57:12not professional cleaning duties. In fact, Thousands
- 57:15of hosts have signed a petition protesting the
- 57:18new policy warning that additional cleaning expenses
- 57:20could mean higher rental rates. Travel industry
- 57:24experts say Airbnb is responding to increased
- 57:27competition from traditional hotels where guests
- 57:32generally aren't expected to scrub the kitchen
- 57:35before checking out, which raises an interesting
- 57:38question about the business in general. Airbnb
- 57:41originally attracted travelers with the promise
- 57:43of affordable accommodations and a more personal
- 57:46experience, but with cleaning fees, service charges,
- 57:49strict house rules, and sometimes higher nightly
- 57:52rates, Airbnb might be losing the very advantage
- 57:55that made it popular. Totally. Do you use Airbnb
- 58:02at all? Not anymore. I haven't in years since
- 58:05they started introducing all this shit so do
- 58:08you remember when they first launched had like
- 58:11um they they almost were like a just to rent
- 58:17my room for a day or two or whatever it was like
- 58:20a it was like they it was even like almost like
- 58:24a well it was a european company right and the
- 58:27idea was oh surfing Yeah, I was like house it
- 58:30was almost like house -swapping right like, you
- 58:33know, like oh, you'll stay with the people will
- 58:36be still living there and Hang with them and
- 58:39maybe have meals with them. You're like their
- 58:41exchange student almost. Yeah. Yeah backpackers
- 58:44It started out like that because I remember my
- 58:47friend and I He was like he had a big house and
- 58:51I rented a room so we're all like I was treated
- 58:53as a roommate but But he was like, Yeah, I don't
- 58:57know. Like, I can't get out, you know, I have
- 58:59these extra rooms. I was like, Hey, there's this
- 59:01new thing called Airbnb, like, that you treat
- 59:04your room kind of like a hotel room. So people
- 59:06will come crash for like, a day or two or a week.
- 59:11And that's it. And then you'll make almost the
- 59:14same amount as like renting it out as a room
- 59:16rental, right for the month, right? I was like,
- 59:18you should totally do that. And that's how that
- 59:20started. And then it became this. like where
- 59:24people expect renting the whole house and whatever.
- 59:29And then and then you have to be the maid too.
- 59:33And when it became morphed into this, this is
- 59:35when I stopped using it. We just went back to
- 59:38doing hotel stuff because of like, dude, I'm
- 59:43not going to like I'm not going to steam clean
- 59:45your fucking shades and blinds and like. That
- 59:49wasn't expected. I mean, there are people that
- 59:53I've seen. I've seen some places that have like
- 59:56this laundry list of house rules where I'm like,
- 59:59I'm so put off by this and you're going to charge
- 1:00:02more than a hotel. Forget it. I'll just get two
- 1:00:05hotel rooms because I have you know, like the
- 1:00:07big travel the big family. And when we went to
- 1:00:11Iceland on the big family trip last year, right,
- 1:00:13like both sets of parents, me and we only had
- 1:00:17the one kid at the time. We just all got hotel
- 1:00:20rooms and it was cheaper than doing Airbnb. Yeah.
- 1:00:23I mean, look, I'll check both. If hotels are
- 1:00:26I generally prefer the more anonymous experience
- 1:00:29of a hotel even more than a bed and breakfast
- 1:00:32because I kind of like don't want to interact
- 1:00:35with people, you know, and and so but like if
- 1:00:38I have to, I will. And if it's like too expensive,
- 1:00:42then I will. Airbnb has certainly been a good
- 1:00:44option. Look, I basically agree. If they're charging
- 1:00:46you a cleaning fee, Then in general, you shouldn't
- 1:00:50be cleaning. I mean, certainly it's not unreasonable.
- 1:00:56I mean, look, here's the thing. It used to be
- 1:00:59like, oh, strip the bed and can you please start
- 1:01:02the washer on your way out the door, right? I
- 1:01:05get that. If it's a family and you're renting
- 1:01:08out their room and like that way, by the time
- 1:01:11you're gone and they get into the house, like
- 1:01:14say an hour later, hey, The washer cycle's already
- 1:01:17run. Things have started. And they can have things
- 1:01:20ready in case they have someone else showing
- 1:01:22up at 3 o 'clock. They have that four hours.
- 1:01:25They can make the most of it. But if they have
- 1:01:28professional cleaners coming in, then why are
- 1:01:32you doing that? Those cleaners can swoop in at
- 1:01:3511 o 'clock at checkout time and just get to
- 1:01:39work, right? So that is an issue. I don't know.
- 1:01:45I think it is true basically recently but a lot
- 1:01:48of airbnb properties are not even like families
- 1:01:51anymore, right? These are people they're investment
- 1:01:53properties people buy a unit and they trick it
- 1:01:56out as an airbnb and they run it as a hotel 20
- 1:02:00365 days a year They never live there. It's totally
- 1:02:04generic like, you know They have like those generic
- 1:02:07decorations on the ground on the wall like live
- 1:02:10love laugh Life's a beach, right? Ted I recently
- 1:02:17looked at one a bear an Airbnb of like a small
- 1:02:21life is good my personal favorite crop those
- 1:02:23over Gaza I I saw I saw one lady because you
- 1:02:29know you can see who the host is one lady She
- 1:02:32specifically said in her post you have to bring
- 1:02:36your own fucking bedding. Oh I've seen that What
- 1:02:42like bring your own bedding and towels? Yeah,
- 1:02:47that's that's well, I mean, that's kind of like,
- 1:02:50basically, you're camping. You're basically camping.
- 1:02:54Now I get it. I've seen that like, you know,
- 1:02:57I've looked at places like in rural Maine, that's
- 1:03:00a cabin way up in a mountain or something. And
- 1:03:03they're kind of like, you know, we can't really
- 1:03:05leave bedding and shit there because it's going
- 1:03:07to get gross and scrungy. And also they don't
- 1:03:10have a washer dryer, so they don't have the ability.
- 1:03:13to wash it right so that's why you're supposed
- 1:03:15to but okay here's the thing i'm game for that
- 1:03:19like i'll drive somewhere with my own bedding
- 1:03:21and towels but it's got to be fucking cheap it's
- 1:03:25got to be like 50 bucks a night it can't be like
- 1:03:28250 dollars a night that's what these these people
- 1:03:30are still requesting like 200 something like
- 1:03:34no at that price i'll go stay at the local hilton
- 1:03:37like right yeah no yeah i'm a mariette bonvoy
- 1:03:41member That's what I'll do. Yeah, see ya. No,
- 1:03:45dude. So anyway, I think this is a good thing
- 1:03:48Look the way the way the hotel industry now They
- 1:03:52have to disclose right if you if there's like
- 1:03:54pool fees or whatever They have to disclose up
- 1:03:57front before you book right? Like it's there's
- 1:03:59laws around that I do think you should have to
- 1:04:01put your dirty dishes in the sink I feel like
- 1:04:03that's basic I do I do that. There's hotels that
- 1:04:08have a suite with a kitchen a kitchenette and
- 1:04:10stuff I don't leave my, you know, if I'm in that
- 1:04:13situation, I don't leave glasses all over the
- 1:04:15place. Oh, me either, just because I'm not gross.
- 1:04:17Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's because I'm not, I don't
- 1:04:20live that way and I'm not going to do that when
- 1:04:22I'm out. It's about being civilized. Not my home.
- 1:04:27Like, I don't care if it's my home or not. It's
- 1:04:28just, that's gross. I don't want to, like, skip
- 1:04:31over 30 dishes on the floor. I don't want them
- 1:04:32to come in and think that it's like, I don't
- 1:04:34want them to walk in and think that like, hey,
- 1:04:36look, Motley Crue is on tour here in 1986. Yeah.
- 1:04:40No, it's not even that it's just like you're
- 1:04:42gross like if you're like leaving dirty dishes
- 1:04:45like in corners of the hotel room like yeah,
- 1:04:47how do you Live like yeah, you don't even want
- 1:04:49it. Yeah, you don't want to wake up to that,
- 1:04:51right? Like it's gross. No gross like you as
- 1:04:53soon as you're done You put the tray outside,
- 1:04:56right? Let the clearly come get it like or whatever
- 1:04:59But so I don't know what people I don't know
- 1:05:02how else people I'm sure there's really gross.
- 1:05:07I don't know. What do you Airbnb ears like guests
- 1:05:09or whatever? Oh, for sure. I've heard stories.
- 1:05:14Gross people. But if you can't account for that
- 1:05:18as a host and know that people are disgusting
- 1:05:23and they're going to do disgusting things in
- 1:05:26your house, then don't be an Airbnb host. Just
- 1:05:31don't. I mean, I think, look, the thing is, it's
- 1:05:33just not the same business that it used to be.
- 1:05:36And that's what it is. It's like now it's basically,
- 1:05:39look, the thing is, I've also heard complaints
- 1:05:42from from guests like like I remember staying
- 1:05:46at Airbnb in Florida one time and there was some
- 1:05:49sand on the floor and I knew that like some other
- 1:05:52hosts like oh if there's if like if they someone
- 1:05:56checked into their property and they found sand
- 1:05:59on the floor they'd freak out they'd be like
- 1:06:01totally careening or like someone would find
- 1:06:04like a hair like on the ground and it's like
- 1:06:07okay you're in someone's house there's gonna
- 1:06:10be a fucking hair and who gives a shit like i
- 1:06:13mean if i check into a hotel and there's a hair
- 1:06:15on the ground i don't care i mean like yeah so
- 1:06:20people they expect go ahead about the hair so
- 1:06:25like if it's your someone you know if it's your
- 1:06:29friend let's say you're over at my house and
- 1:06:31i and you know i like to cook ted But you always,
- 1:06:34you know, people comment, oh Manila, you have
- 1:06:36such nice hair, beautiful hair. They want to
- 1:06:38touch it and whatever. But the moment that beautiful
- 1:06:41hair comes off of my head and it falls into the
- 1:06:45soup. Why is that suddenly the most disgusting
- 1:06:49thing in the world? That is like, so that is
- 1:06:51sort of like, okay. So like five minutes ago,
- 1:06:54you were telling me you were admiring my hair
- 1:06:55and now one strand is in your food. It's the
- 1:06:58same hair, right? Right, so why were you admiring
- 1:07:02it five minutes ago? Now it's disgusting. Everything
- 1:07:05is context, right? It's sort of like if like
- 1:07:08like before you get to like I remember thinking
- 1:07:10about this like Toward the end of my marriage
- 1:07:13where it's like the last thing I wanted to do
- 1:07:15was like touch my wife, right? And then like
- 1:07:19but what it before I got with her all I could
- 1:07:21think about was touching my wife and it was like
- 1:07:24that's like it's sort of a it's sort of like
- 1:07:27context changes everything I read an interview
- 1:07:29with the a book uh with the author of a book
- 1:07:32about disgust and she I think it was a she was
- 1:07:36asked to define disgust like give me an example
- 1:07:39of what disgust is like how it works with the
- 1:07:42reptile brain so here's here's but here's an
- 1:07:46example okay so spit into a glass now drink it
- 1:07:52the thing is that spit was just in your mouth
- 1:07:54it was just in your mouth is yours it's not someone
- 1:07:58else's It's yours. Backwash. There's no logical
- 1:08:02reason for you not to drink it, but you won't
- 1:08:05because it's like you're wired not to, right?
- 1:08:07It's in your reptile brain. I know. It's the
- 1:08:11fact that it's no longer in your mouth. So I
- 1:08:14think that's how it is with the hair, right?
- 1:08:18And it's also like it's context, too. Like if
- 1:08:20I was staying at your house and it was your hair,
- 1:08:23that wouldn't be as bad finding it in my food.
- 1:08:26As an Airbnb. As if we're going to a restaurant
- 1:08:29and there's a random hair in my food. That's
- 1:08:33bad. But when we tie this back to the Airbnb,
- 1:08:38when you see random hair, like it's a house and
- 1:08:41it's a house being used as a hotel room, but
- 1:08:46it's still a home. It's still whatever. It's
- 1:08:48a place people occupy. Why are people careening
- 1:08:53over hair on the ground or you find it on, you
- 1:08:57know, on the mattress or something. Or like a
- 1:09:00stain, like let's say the sheet's not perfectly
- 1:09:02white, like there's this little stain or something.
- 1:09:06A stain is a stain. It doesn't necessarily...
- 1:09:08I mean, stains as we know just don't always come
- 1:09:11out in the wash, right? I mean, it doesn't mean
- 1:09:13it's not clean. It's clean. It just has a stain.
- 1:09:16It's a stain. It's just colored there. But anyway,
- 1:09:20that's... I just... I think it's a great thing
- 1:09:23that Airbnb is still like evolving. And I loved
- 1:09:26their whole, the whole idea behind it was, was
- 1:09:31one you get to meet new people, right? That because
- 1:09:33the original idea of Airbnb was rent a room while
- 1:09:36the family is still living there, right? Like
- 1:09:37you're basically an exchange student, kind of.
- 1:09:40But it's like one step up over staying at a hostel,
- 1:09:45right? Well, yeah, I mean, some of them are stunning.
- 1:09:48I mean, like if your host if your host is like
- 1:09:50a gay couple, it's better. It's better than a
- 1:09:54hotel. I mean, I stayed I stayed at a Airbnb
- 1:09:56in San Francisco. Gay couple. And like, holy
- 1:10:00shit, there was a bottle of red and a bottle
- 1:10:02of white waiting for me in the in the fridge.
- 1:10:05I was like, that's amazing. You guys. Yeah, that's
- 1:10:08that's the dream is like, go stay with with a
- 1:10:11gay dink. Oh, the best. Go crack go have those
- 1:10:16and also you can have some different you can
- 1:10:18have what like what I loved about here What I
- 1:10:20like about Airbnb is like first of all, it fills
- 1:10:23the gaps in places where that are underserved
- 1:10:25by hotels in rural areas There's a lot of places
- 1:10:28that just don't have any hotel and also you can
- 1:10:31stay someplace beautiful like on a lake or Something
- 1:10:34that like you might not otherwise have access
- 1:10:36to in the way up high in the mountains Last year,
- 1:10:41were you in an Airbnb? Yeah. Yeah Yeah, although
- 1:10:47that was also that was a that was a permanent
- 1:10:50Airbnb like rental property. Oh, somebody's rental.
- 1:10:53Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Life's a beach. So there you
- 1:10:57go. Signage everywhere. Love laugh, Ted. I'm
- 1:11:03fascinated by those like those stupid signs.
- 1:11:08Like, you know, it's like it's like basically
- 1:11:10like those stupid signs are like They're like
- 1:11:13looks like living inside a political cartoon
- 1:11:15where everything is labeled like living room
- 1:11:19The pool like I know what the kitchen is tell
- 1:11:25from the one kitchen Husina right it's like in
- 1:11:29Italian. Oh cuz it's better than it's in Italian
- 1:11:32now Right. Thanks. You're you're classing it
- 1:11:37up. You put it in Italian And also the dumb statements,
- 1:11:44right? Like the inspiring term. Oh, but my personal
- 1:11:48favorite of all of that stupid shit is like the
- 1:11:51people who have the pretentious, they spell out
- 1:11:55the address of their home. So instead of like
- 1:11:59233, it says 233. And you're like, really? You
- 1:12:09can't use Arabic numbers? I know you're Islamophobic,
- 1:12:12but really? Oh, God. Really? I've not seen that.
- 1:12:16Oh, God, it's so... Yeah, no, it's a thing, for
- 1:12:19sure. And then my mom, shortly before my mom
- 1:12:22died, my mom pointed this following out. You
- 1:12:26know how the houses that have, like, the big
- 1:12:27star, usually a red star on it? Yes. I've seen
- 1:12:31that. What's up with the stars? And I joke I
- 1:12:34said it's the communist revolution is moving
- 1:12:36through the suburbs. I don't know. Why does everyone
- 1:12:40have the same red star? It's like that. It's
- 1:12:43like it's like aluminum. It's like an aluminum
- 1:12:45tin red star that people I don't know. It's I
- 1:12:50don't know. It's a thing. Everyone finds them
- 1:12:52at like those home goods stores and stuff like
- 1:12:55everywhere. Totally. And so I don't I don't know.
- 1:12:58I don't get I bet like Joanna Gaines and what's
- 1:13:03his name? Skip? Is that his name? Skip? Gaines?
- 1:13:08What's his name? I know the wife's name is Joanna,
- 1:13:10the Gaines's. Chip, Chip, Chip and Joanna Gaines,
- 1:13:15that's it. Chip and Joanna Gaines. I don't know
- 1:13:17if they used it in their design one time and
- 1:13:20everybody was like, oh my God, we gotta go out
- 1:13:22and get a red star, a tin star to put outside
- 1:13:25in our yard. But like, that's a thing. It's a
- 1:13:29thing. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Don't forget.
- 1:13:35Always stay humble and kind or be positive. Dream
- 1:13:41big. People put these up. Ted, people have them
- 1:13:48in their actual houses, not just Airbnb. I hate
- 1:13:51to break that to you. Home is where our story
- 1:13:54begins. So in the interest of not being positive
- 1:13:58vanilla, you're incredibly pixelated again. Don't
- 1:14:01know what's happening. I can't change the camera
- 1:14:04won't even The camera won't even change anything
- 1:14:07for me anymore. Oh, I see a chain. It became
- 1:14:10pixelated I don't know. I don't know what's happening.
- 1:14:12I need to try out the new camera I because I
- 1:14:14tried a couple of new cameras and and it the
- 1:14:18the software that you have the external camera
- 1:14:21Yeah, the software because I'm on a I'm on a
- 1:14:24I'm on a desktop not a not not a laptop Yeah,
- 1:14:28I'm on a desktop with an extra— because my computer's
- 1:14:31really old, so I have an extra camera on top.
- 1:14:35This computer's not old. Robbie, how old is this?
- 1:14:37Like three years old? Something like that? Two
- 1:14:40to three, something like that. Yeah, it's not
- 1:14:41old. You look like you're in an ISIS hostage
- 1:14:43video. It's true. The flames are going to come
- 1:14:47soon. I kind of am. I'm a hostage to like a six
- 1:14:50-month -old baby, hence the little bit of spit
- 1:14:52up right there. There's there's always gonna
- 1:14:55be a little spit up on my shoulder because there's
- 1:14:57there's a baby It's a pixelated no one could
- 1:15:00tell exactly. So maybe that's my camouflage But
- 1:15:05I I'm afraid I got a new camera. I'm gonna try
- 1:15:09it out Today you need to uninstall the software
- 1:15:13packages in there first Okay, then install the
- 1:15:17new one because otherwise it's just it's not
- 1:15:19gonna be it's using the old you think it's using
- 1:15:21the old one I guarantee it No, no, I haven't
- 1:15:24put in the new camera. I got a new camera. No,
- 1:15:27I understand that. But but before you install
- 1:15:28the new one, you have to uninstall the software
- 1:15:30for the old first. Yes. OK, good to know people
- 1:15:35don't uninstall things. They really should. Yeah,
- 1:15:39I know. I don't. I'm guilty of that. Like I just
- 1:15:42put in the new thing. Oh, and do you do the do
- 1:15:44you do the thing where you don't when you put
- 1:15:46your computer to sleep and you don't turn it
- 1:15:47off? Oh, I never turn mine off. Oh, that's bad.
- 1:15:51You know, that's a bad protocol. You're supposed
- 1:15:53to shut down your computer completely. Really?
- 1:15:56Really every night, but at least every few days.
- 1:15:57Well, no, it goes to sleep. And a big part of
- 1:15:59the reason is because... Keep everything open.
- 1:16:03Well, not so much that. It's because Vang is
- 1:16:06actually getting integrated into Pickaxe. And
- 1:16:08so Jeff, actually, I gave him remote access.
- 1:16:11So he's using her to make clips and shorts. So
- 1:16:14it has to be on your computer. Well, because
- 1:16:16yeah, because otherwise it would cost so much
- 1:16:18for cloud GPU. I couldn't afford to do it. So
- 1:16:22I built workers on my computers. So the job is
- 1:16:27queued up, ran by the cloud, but the actual work
- 1:16:30is done on my desktop and on my laptop. And if
- 1:16:33I turned them off, that wouldn't work. So then
- 1:16:35he wouldn't be able to do though. part of the
- 1:16:37thing. Oh, interesting. Other people are saying
- 1:16:41just restart. That's, and I keep getting these
- 1:16:44updates and I don't know what's updating what
- 1:16:46and then Chrome will say it needs to update and
- 1:16:49I'm almost starting to wonder, should I just,
- 1:16:54should I just start telling programs to not,
- 1:16:58not self -update on its own that I need to approve
- 1:17:02them? The updates are fine. It's just you have
- 1:17:04some kind of a wonky filter going on or you have
- 1:17:06your have your resolutions set to toilet bowl.
- 1:17:09It's one of the others. I don't know. It was
- 1:17:12fine. And then but again, I don't know this thing
- 1:17:15when I remember when I got the the new the first
- 1:17:19new camera like a month or two ago, once I put
- 1:17:22that one in and we decided it sucked and I put
- 1:17:25the old one back and the old one was better.
- 1:17:28But then it's been acting wonky. And now every
- 1:17:30it's like it's been mad at me. It's as if it's
- 1:17:33mad at me ever since like I tried to replace
- 1:17:36it. It might be It might be an ai type situation.
- 1:17:40It's coming. Yeah, it's sky netting you The ai
- 1:17:43is pissed at me and it's like how dare you try
- 1:17:46to replace me with a newer model and it's been
- 1:17:49I'll show you for the past like five or six weeks.
- 1:17:53You'll see i'm just saying yeah, so i'm gonna
- 1:17:55try out the new camera We're it's time to go,
- 1:17:59but I hope you guys found this to be an informative
- 1:18:02and fun show because always Russia, if not Ted
- 1:18:06Russia, Russia is going to do something to you.
- 1:18:09Yeah. I thought y 'all could bring me on to debug
- 1:18:11the whole virus thing, but y 'all just, no, I
- 1:18:14thought you were going to pop on. I was waiting
- 1:18:16for you to, because Robbie earth is how many
- 1:18:19thousands of years? It's a little over 6 ,000
- 1:18:21years old. So this virus doesn't exist. It's
- 1:18:26fake. It's all made up. Well, here's, here's
- 1:18:29what impressed me. Instead of doing research
- 1:18:32on this, how about you do something useful like
- 1:18:34cure cancer? That would show me that you have
- 1:18:39an idea about how genetics work and how it is
- 1:18:42- Well, by the way, did you see the article that
- 1:18:44I posted up? And I hope maybe it'll make it into
- 1:18:46Thursday's show about CRISPR being used to -
- 1:18:49Yeah, yeah. I had to pick one of the two science
- 1:18:51stories, so I picked this one first. In fact,
- 1:18:54the Japanese used CRISPR to fix retardation.
- 1:18:58It's huge. And that's the point that the Chinese
- 1:19:01use CRISPR to fix HIV. Yeah. I mean, that's the
- 1:19:04point that I'm making. Right. So and then that
- 1:19:06doctor's on the lamb now. Oh, I thought he was
- 1:19:10rehabilitated. Oh, I don't know. So I mean, the
- 1:19:14Swiss, you know, they're doing this. They're
- 1:19:15trying to go in time for their God and trying
- 1:19:17to make black holes in their centrifuge. What
- 1:19:21could possibly go wrong with that? Then? Yeah,
- 1:19:24I like how they said when they turned it on,
- 1:19:26there's a zero point zero zero zero zero three
- 1:19:29chance. that the world, the universe will end.
- 1:19:33And I'm like, and I'm like, okay, so granted
- 1:19:37those are very small odds, but that's a very
- 1:19:40big downside. Yeah. So we might ruin the entire
- 1:19:45universe, but I'm going to press this button
- 1:19:48anyway. I mean, the odds are pretty low. It should
- 1:19:51be all right. Yeah. Just do it. So it happens.
- 1:19:54Yeah. But I mean, seriously, I mean, if No, these
- 1:19:57scientists, if they want to do something really
- 1:19:59meaningful, do something that's meaningful, cure
- 1:20:02cancer, maybe do something about birth defects.
- 1:20:07Don't go and whip up this idea about a primordial
- 1:20:11virus that affected chimpanzees millions of years
- 1:20:15ago, which is a complete scam and a joke. It's
- 1:20:21a lie. Well, see, that's what I was expecting
- 1:20:24you to jump in. I don't just know you never you
- 1:20:30don't ever wait for an invitation since whenever
- 1:20:32you needed my invite. It's like pop in. You didn't
- 1:20:37pop in today. I was like, oh, maybe Robbie's
- 1:20:39tired. Well, I haven't been to bed yet. Oh, my
- 1:20:43God, Robbie, go to sleep. All right. With that,
- 1:20:45I got to test this camera. Yes, I went in for
- 1:20:49a physical. He's like, so how many of us, Mr.
- 1:20:51West, how many hours do you sleep at night? Sleep
- 1:20:55like. Maybe two, two and a half is a, it's kind
- 1:21:00of laugh. I'm like, no, I'm serious. He's like,
- 1:21:04you're serious. I said, yeah. He said, you realize
- 1:21:06you're going to, this is going to kill you as
- 1:21:08we all do. Yeah, but you should listen to him.
- 1:21:12Cause you know, he has a medical degree, a degree
- 1:21:15and he's right. No, well, here's the thing. No,
- 1:21:18the mom, there's also have degrees. So where
- 1:21:19do you put them? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We're all
- 1:21:24the point it wants to die and our numbers are
- 1:21:25the days where your of our lives are fixed Nothing
- 1:21:28you could that that you could yeah, but you couldn't
- 1:21:30you can do things to to stave off the inevitable
- 1:21:33a little bit, you know Don't try to hasten it
- 1:21:37then Robbie. How about that? Like right now I'm
- 1:21:42building a new game quit hastening with that.
- 1:21:47I'm gonna hasten our goodbye Robbie yeah, bye
- 1:21:57bye
