Bihailou: Vertical Village in Shenzhen | Art News
Shenzhen’s new Bihailou art village, designed by Dutch studio MVRDV, is a vibrant vertical community of colorful, stacked “houses” for museums, theaters, and shops — each with its own entrance and linked by external staircases. Inspired by the neighborhood’s existing energy, it blends old and new while offering flexible spaces like a transformable double-height theater and rooftop terraces. The studio’s bold vision continues to push architectural boundaries globally. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
