- 0:25It is time to leave your worries outside and join us inside the treehouse along
- 0:33with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. I'm Daniel Mallin. It's a very tragic
- 0:42frid Day in the Treehouse because today we have to report a murder inside the
- 0:50treehouse. What I know, I know, it's very very sad, very
- 0:55shocking really for all of us. And but it's something that you know,
- 1:00it's what you have to do sometimes well as journalists, I mean as Yeah,
- 1:07we play fast and loose with that label, doesn't doesn't everyone these days?
- 1:12Yes, reporters of the reporters of the air quotes news mm hmm.
- 1:19Okay, there we go. Yeah. See, that's that's actually where some
- 1:23journalistic integrity comes into play. It's like, yes, we're saying we're reporters
- 1:27of the news, but we're also we have the you know, the the
- 1:32integrity to put the quotes around the word news. Yeah, but but not
- 1:38reporter or journalists. Okay, I mean anyone technically, anybody can be a
- 1:46reporter, right Like, yeah, because we're not. We're not. We're
- 1:49not indicting our credibility as journalists. Just the news, yeah, that we're
- 1:56reporting on it. Yeah, we don't have sources. You don't want to
- 1:59know about ours. Our sources are not credible. Oh, we have sources,
- 2:05but different ones say for various different things, but not news. So,
- 2:10yes, today is Friday, April fifth. Yeah, April fifth,
- 2:16twenty twenty four. We do today have to report a murder. But first
- 2:30birthdays. We're all about the priorities in here. Well, it's irony,
- 2:35right, murder the birthday. Absolutely, Before you can truly feel sorry for
- 2:40the person who's been murdered, you need to, you know, appreciate that
- 2:46life is special and that this individual that we have to report the murder on
- 2:51will no longer be celebrating birthdays. So dude, let's not waste any more
- 2:54time. Birthdays today, April fifth, twenty twenty four. Actress Lily James
- 3:00is thirty five. She is Disney's live action Cinderella. I know that Trey
- 3:06has seen that many many times. She was also Lady Rose Aldridge on Dalton
- 3:10Abbey, and I also saw her as Elizabeth Bennett and Pride and Prejudice and
- 3:16Zombies. Yes, of all those movies that I just mentioned, Pride and
- 3:22Prejudice and Zombies is the one that I've seen that's one movie. Yes,
- 3:29from the same it's from the same people that did Abraham Lincoln, Ghost Vampire
- 3:34Empire Hunter, get it right? Yes? Yeah, Oh sorry, I
- 3:37didn't. I don't watch this. My apologies for taking you know. I
- 3:40didn't. I wasn't aware that they had mixed the literary classic with zombies.
- 3:46Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, no, they've done that and not so.
- 3:52Not only have I seen that movie, I've also seen Abraham Lincoln Vampire
- 3:54Hunter. So they sucked me into that. Sorry, gosh, they must.
- 3:58Hollywood just makes movies. He's for you what it seems like. Yeah,
- 4:02whenever, whenever you're mad at Hollywood for pumping out all sorts of stuff
- 4:06that you're just just like, I don't want to see that. I do.
- 4:11I'm the one who's lined up outside like the Mervin's Ladies open open.
- 4:15I don't even think you're lined up. I think there's like the like the
- 4:17like the bat phone, but they just have the the O'Malley phone. And
- 4:21when a Hollywood exactly like, hey, we're out of ideas, what can
- 4:24we put together? And they're like, you know what, Oliver Twist the
- 4:29Werewolf and they're like, you know what, get Dan on the phone,
- 4:30see if you'll Hey Dan, we got Oliver Twist Werewolf coming out and Dan's
- 4:35like, I'll I would pay for that. They're like, make that movie,
- 4:38Dan, I'll watch it. That's how that's actually a good one.
- 4:42So next time my my emergency phone rings from Hollywood saying what do we need?
- 4:46Say you need an an English orphan and werewolf? Werewolf in London?
- 4:54Yeah, how about little Women? The Purge Pray? The look in your
- 5:00eyes just now was very disturbing. Also, I watched that. That sounds
- 5:06like a lot of fun. Come on a bunch of a little bunch of
- 5:10little women with guns just killing people. That would be entertaining. That.
- 5:14Yeah, little women make corpses and making a period and making a period movie
- 5:19and just give them muskets instead of or that one too. I understood,
- 5:26Yeah, I got it. Yeah, I heard it when I said it,
- 5:29I heard what I said. You know what, I don't care that
- 5:30it was an accident. I'm proud of you. Thank you, buddy,
- 5:33You're welcome. Also, Lily James, I have not seen the series,
- 5:40but I saw a couple of clips and saw lots of photos from the show
- 5:44on Hulu. She played Pamela Anderson in the Pam and Tommy mini series and
- 5:49she and is it Sebastian stand the guy that plays Winter Soldier in the Marvel
- 6:00movies. He played Tommy Lee Thank You, and they both looked phenomenal,
- 6:04like there was a recreation of a photo that Pam and Tommy had and then
- 6:10they had one on set for the promo stuff, and it was really really
- 6:13excellent looking as far as how closely they were, how closely they resembled Pam
- 6:18and Tommy. Gotcha. So Happy birthday, Lily James. She is thirty
- 6:21five today, speaking of Marvel stuff and Winter Soldier. Hayley Atwell, who
- 6:27played Peggy Carter in Captain America and Agent Carter, She is forty two today.
- 6:33Actor Sterling K. Brown from This Is Us is forty eight. He
- 6:38was also Killmonger's dad in Black Panther, So another Marvel connection. At some
- 6:42point, everyone's going to have a role in a Marvel movie. It's just
- 6:46I think inevitable, and it's just it's sort of just a matter of which
- 6:49role you get, or if you're in the case of someone like Chris Evans,
- 6:54you get two yeah, and are one of our other favorite as in
- 7:00the Treehouse, Marshmallow al Lei. He's getting two characters in the Marvel universe
- 7:05now. Granted one was on TV and Luke Cage and he died and now
- 7:09they're bringing him back as Blade. So my point is, if you're in
- 7:11Hollywood long enough and you're successful enough, you'll end up in a Marvel project.
- 7:15Yeah, and Farrell or sorry, it's it's probably Farrell. He's fifty
- 7:23one and a little feral, just wild, that just got quite faste.
- 7:30No, Farrell's fifty one, that's what I hear. He was with the
- 7:34Neptunes. I think they were a gang. I think they were a street
- 7:40gang. But he's done well for himself. He's really made a cut,
- 7:44solid comeback. Yeah, that's Pharrell. Yeah, he's a very talented music
- 7:49prodition, currently embroiled in a bitter battle with his former co producer over the
- 7:56name the Neptunes. Yeap, that seems like name that you'd have a difficult
- 8:01time copywriting because I feel like there's an entire planet that could so that could
- 8:05basically one up everybody. Yeah, but if it could speak for itself,
- 8:09we have bigger problems. Well said If Neptune shut up in court to Battle
- 8:16the Battle its name that that's another movie you'd probably watch. Oh, it
- 8:20absolutely is. I love disaster movies Two Versus Neptune. Yeah, No,
- 8:28disaster movies are among my favorite. I think I've told you this before.
- 8:31I love disaster movies because I like rooting for the disaster because most of humanity
- 8:35sucks. Pharrell and the other Guy versus Neptune and Lily James is Neptune.
- 8:48They really really solid actress. Lots of Trey. Did you, Trey,
- 8:54you watched Baywatch when you were younger? Right? Yeah, Roger did watch
- 8:58bay Watch? Or did your parents be like no, no, no,
- 9:01no, no, no, no Bikini Clyde women on our TV. No.
- 9:05I just was like, I don't. I'm good with not watching anything
- 9:07with David Hasselhoff. I think that was just my own artistic choice. So
- 9:11I was like, I'm good. You didn't watch night Rider. Oh that's
- 9:16what I drew the line, right. I was like, Okay, I
- 9:18mean, I mean, isn't it that is the line? I mean,
- 9:20it's night Rider and then it's all the shit he did after. Yeah,
- 9:24that's exactly right. So I'm like, I didn't watch any of the shit
- 9:26he did after, but I didn't watch. I didn't watch. I watched
- 9:30night Rider for the talking Car. I don't know about you guys, but
- 9:31I was like, oh, I want a kit. And then we had
- 9:35a guy in the neighborhood that like, I don't know how he did it
- 9:37because it was before I think you could find the kit, but he had
- 9:41like, uh, he had the black transam or whatever it was, and
- 9:43he had the red light that went back and forth. Yeah. All it
- 9:48was is you you you got a black transam and you just cut a rectangle
- 9:52out of the front bumper and just stick in that good old fashioned, classic
- 9:56red digital alarm clock. Oh is that what it was? Okay, Well,
- 10:01well he did that and I was like, oh my god. That
- 10:03man. That was like the Saxy version of night Rider. That was the
- 10:07Miscape version, the Balk Springs version of the night Writer. Also, so
- 10:15I mentioned Baywatch because on the later seasons an actress named Krista Allen. She
- 10:20was one of the bay Watch lifeguards. She's fifty three today and last birthday
- 10:26today. Before we jump into reporting the murder inside the Treehouse, Christopher Kid
- 10:31read he turns sixty today from Kidn't Play The House Party movies, and he's
- 10:37also a stand up comedian. We had him on the radio show a handful
- 10:43of years ago. He's a good friend of mine. We actually from living
- 10:46out in LA got to be friends. We would run into each other at
- 10:48the airport, and it happened so many times, like him flying out to
- 10:52a different city and same with me that we're just like so where you had.
- 10:54It was like when Virgin first kicked off their airline, so they were
- 10:58giving away like great flights. The airline itself was amazing, but the price
- 11:03of the flights was really cheap, so a bunch of comics just jumped over
- 11:07from American a Delta. But I would run into him all the time,
- 11:11and then randomly one day I saw I'm at the at a bar in West
- 11:13Hollywood, and at the end, I was like, dude, I'm like,
- 11:16this is just one of those surreal moments as a kid, because I
- 11:18watched my buddy Marlon made me watch House Party, and I was like,
- 11:20all right, this is kind of cool. Uh yeah, and uh and
- 11:26then that little out of body thing where he's like, hey man, do
- 11:28you mind give me a ride home? And I'm like, oh, this
- 11:31is about to be weird, like we're now, You're now I'm just not
- 11:35seeing you out and about. You're in my car. Yeah. So I
- 11:39just called my buddy Marlin the next day. I was like, you will
- 11:41not believe who I give a ride home too? And he's like, who's
- 11:43that kid read? And he's like, is where Marlin is? Just yeah,
- 11:46go ahead, you say something like it got to be home by Pop
- 11:50Scurfew. But but I was just like, I dropped kid off. The
- 11:54next day. I was just joked about it and Marlon. It's just a
- 11:56real he lives and he's a teacher out in Houston. I was like,
- 11:58Marlon, you don't believe for I give it right to les. He goes
- 12:01who could read? He goes, Man, he doesn't have money for uber.
- 12:05I was like, Okay, that's not that's not nice. Like I
- 12:09was going for. I think he does now because he's he's in the next
- 12:13phase of his career that many performers reach, which is the insurance commercial.
- 12:20Yeah, he's in the insurance commercial stage of his career. Yeah, and
- 12:24those make really really good money, like the National they're great commercials. I'm
- 12:28not faulting him for it. I'm just serious it's like it really seems to
- 12:31be, whether you're an actor, a musician, whatever it is, there's
- 12:35a stage in your career that some some people hit, some people never get
- 12:39it. Yeah. So, and he's also people also don't know. He's
- 12:43a very good DJ. He's also a producer. But he the theme song
- 12:46for Real Time with Bill Maher like kid Read did the theme song for that.
- 12:50So he gets paid every year that Bill Moore uses that. And he's
- 12:54a great comic and he's a phenomenal guy. So happy birthday, Kid.
- 12:56I'll make sure your message him today. Happy birthday to Christopher kid Read from
- 13:00all of us inside the Treehouse. Now it is time to report on something
- 13:05serious. In the previous episode of the Treehouse, there was a murder h
- 13:16and I'm not sure if everyone truly witnessed it. So let's go back,
- 13:22shall we. Okay, let's go back. Hang on, I canna find
- 13:28it. Give me one brief moment. Mm hmmmmmm mmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Let's go
- 13:39back one brief moment to the other day, the previous episode of the Treehouse
- 13:43where we were discussing the eclipse that is going to happen on Monday, and
- 13:50we were talking about WFAA meteorologist Muriel Ruiz talking to everyone like we're children,
- 13:58explaining how what clipses work. And then this happened. She's doing this because
- 14:05most people don't understand this stuff and they need to be spoken to like they're
- 14:11seven years old. So this is actually, I think, a good thing,
- 14:13so everyone can understand what's going to happen. Of course, the married
- 14:18man says that, and that's when I died. I know, it seems
- 14:28odd to have to report your own murder, but that's what happened. I
- 14:35felt it. And then as I'm editing the show in post production, I
- 14:39got to witness my own murder, and that's when I realized that it must
- 14:46be reported. So not only was there a murder inside the treehouse on our
- 14:52previous episode, but there's also a nine to one one call reporting it ninety
- 15:00one one. What's your emergency, Hi, I'd like to report a murder.
- 15:03Oh my goodness, that's terrible. I know. Why would you say
- 15:07you like to report a murder? Are you some sort of sick Oh?
- 15:09Wait, what I'd like to report a murder? Who says that? Is
- 15:13that what you mean? Or do you need to report a murder. Okay,
- 15:16I guess I need to report a murder. Okay, good, that's
- 15:20more like it now that I know what you mean. Where are you right
- 15:22now in my treehouse? Is the victim there too? Oh? Yeah,
- 15:26okay? Is the victim male or female? Please don't ask me political questions?
- 15:31Oh right, Sorry, we're all still adjusting in here. Is it
- 15:33one victim or multiple? Just one? And your share? It's dead?
- 15:37Did you check for a pulse? Oh, he's dead. Okay, I'm
- 15:39sending emergency services to your location. Did you see the murder? I did.
- 15:43It was brutal. Can you tell me what happened? Well? My
- 15:46friends and I were having your conversation about the eclips and my friend Trey said
- 15:50something really mean to me about being married, and it was so mean it
- 15:54killed me. Wait it killed you? Yes? I saw my soul leave
- 15:58my body. Sir, that's not possible. You're not dead. You're on
- 16:02the phone with me. You must be disoriented from the attack. Did he
- 16:04shoot? Uh? I always forget to mention this. When we receive these
- 16:14nine to one one calls from dispatch, we'll call it. Uh. They
- 16:17always make sure to disguise the voice of the person calling nine one one to
- 16:25protect their anonymity. Wait, it killed you? Yes, I saw my
- 16:30soul, my body. Sir, that's not possible. You're not dead.
- 16:33You're on the phone with me. You must be disoriented from the attack.
- 16:37Did he shoot you no? Did he stab you no? Did he strangle
- 16:41you? Did he rip your still beating heard from your chest with his bare
- 16:45hands like I'm gonna do if you don't start making some goddamn sense. Emotionally
- 16:48yes, okay, so you're emotionally dead but physically alive. No, you
- 16:53got it? You fucking people. You can't call nine one one because your
- 16:56friend hurt your feelings. But really, line is for real emergencies. If
- 17:00you want emotional support, get at Chihuahua. Well, I feel bad for
- 17:06that, bitch. I've got to go. You have to help me.
- 17:08The murder is still here. The man that emotionally killed you was in the
- 17:11treehouse with you. Put him on the phone. Please, Hi, I'd
- 17:18like to report a murder please mm hmm, very serious? You're all laughing.
- 17:30I'm sorry because I deal with the tragedy in humor. That's do we
- 17:37all that that was a tough called make I'm sure, but it's important that
- 17:45it gets made. These are not victim less cry visit us online Houseonair dot
- 18:00com. Let's talk to Daniel Cook now from Cookdfwroofing and Restoration. The phone
- 18:14number for your free roof inspection eight three three Cook DFW, the website cookdfw
- 18:18dot com. Daniel, the other part of your business in addition to roofing
- 18:22is doing home interior remodeling and such, especially if it coincides with a major
- 18:29roof problem. But you do both, so I'm curious, what is your
- 18:32favorite interior job to do? Is it a kitchen, Is it a bathroom?
- 18:36You know, there's so many special projects that you can do inside your
- 18:38home. I mean, sometimes it's as easy as just taking an open room
- 18:42and closing it off and adding French doors and different windows. Bathrooms always a
- 18:48big deal. You know. You take a builder's grade bathroom and you can
- 18:51convert it into this beautiful walk in shower with dual heads and all kinds of
- 18:55nice vanities and niches and fancy tile, and everybody's like, wow, I
- 18:59can't believe this is my house. And then kitchen, of course, I
- 19:02mean there's so many things you can do with lighting down the kitchen, the
- 19:04style of cabinets, the venta hoods, you know, incorporating the backsplash into
- 19:08the countertops, waterfall. I mean, there's just so many projects you can
- 19:12do around your home, and it all depends on your There's there's a couple
- 19:15of things. One, your level of committing to construction in your home.
- 19:21I can't tell you how many people underestimate how long things take and how dirty
- 19:25construction is because you just can't stop that. And then two, you know,
- 19:27really what is your budget? You know, so you got to understand
- 19:30that you can't not have a fancy, fancy kitchen for twenty thousand dollars.
- 19:33It just doesn't work. We'd all love that, we'd all love that to
- 19:37be the case, but it's just not. The good news is Daniel can
- 19:41help work with whatever your budget is and you'll get a stunning product either way.
- 19:47Obviously, the more money you spend the better. Sometimes it does coincide,
- 19:51I hate to say it. Give COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration a call for

- 20:30season. April is supposedly going to be quite active when it comes to storms
- 20:36and things. Uh So, let's make sure your house is at least ready
- 20:41to withstand or have a chance against the next severe storm that is going to
- 20:45happen. Eight three three Cook DFW The website cookdfw dot com. Did you
- 20:52guys see the other day I posted it from our at Treehouse on Air account
- 21:00on Facebook and Instagram the man in Oregon who almost got cut in half by
- 21:07a runaway saw blade. Yeah, yes, whoo. That that has stayed
- 21:17with me And that's just me seeing the story and following it. I can't
- 21:21imagine being Shane Rimkey, the man who was followed by the runaway saw blade,
- 21:29trying to imagine what must have been going through his mind after because it
- 21:32actually happened to him. And I'm that I think I've watched the video of
- 21:38him walking into the into the convenience store, beer story, liquor store or
- 21:45whatever thirty times, and I've counted as soon as as soon as he gets
- 21:52both feet in the store, it's three seconds three seconds when that runaway concrete
- 22:00saw blade barrels into the storefront. Wow, that was wild. My first
- 22:10question was, certainly somebody from Osha has got to look at that and go,
- 22:15hmmm, might need to pay them a visit because I helped. That's
- 22:19what the memo says when they when they give notice to the company. It's
- 22:23just from Osha letterhead, body, m and the emoji like just looking with
- 22:30the monocle. It's like just jumping across. Wait where does that come from?
- 22:36Boeing? I believe? And in other news, Boeing for some reason
- 22:42started attaching concrete saws to their planes, you know, doors, concrete saws,
- 22:49whatever, as long as it sticks. Yeah, the uh let's what
- 22:56Let's watch this uh together again, shall we? This is from k EASYI
- 23:04channel nine in Oregon, I believe. So this is the responding reporting team
- 23:12checking in and telling the story about the runaways saw Blade and Shane Rimkey in
- 23:18Oregon Shane Remkey is still shaking just thinking about how he narrowly escaped death on
- 23:30Thursday. He walked through the door foot concrete saw blade came flying from me
- 23:34near by construction site, slamming into the wall of this liquor store, just
- 23:40seconds after Ringkey had just walked in. So I was walking into the store
- 23:44here, put my handle on the door, and I heard a loud bang
- 23:48and yelling over here at the corner, just as a cloud of smoke pops
- 23:51up, and I see a guy fall into the ditch and a four foot
- 23:53play hurling at me as I walking through the doorway. A traffic contractor who
- 23:59witnessed the incident's as a loose bolt and possible operator error may have caused the
- 24:03giant soplely to come loose and spin away at high speeds straight for the liquor
- 24:08store. Oh my god, cheers all night. Yeah, it was.
- 24:14It was touched by I was. I was shaking in the story. It
- 24:17gets me a little bit and ready to talk store over. What is?
- 24:26Does anybody want to call out? They's just hammered, wouldn't you be?
- 24:34I think I would either. Yeah. It would be one of those things
- 24:37where I just start drinking and buying lottery tickets, or I started going to
- 24:41church because somebody tried to send me a message maturity. At the liquor store.
- 24:49It's going to be walking into a church. It's gonna be a certain
- 24:53number of feet from the church, so you can't if you're already there.
- 24:56Not in every city, not in not in not in every municipality. Some
- 25:00places don't care. In some places you can have the church inside the liquor
- 25:03store. Yeah, that'd be exactly lois. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 25:11In the shade this case, when you go into the liquor store and the
- 25:17four foot concrete saw blade damn near follows you in. Yeah, and you
- 25:22survive. Not only do you start drinking right then and there, but you
- 25:27also buy a powerball ticket. And then you hope that they sell pants that
- 25:33you can put that powerball ticket into, because there's no way those things would
- 25:37have been cleaned after that saw blade came after him. I don't know,
- 25:41I'm polite. I might have held the door open for it. You for
- 25:44a saw blade. I mean, you had the time. If you think
- 25:51about it, it was less than three seconds. So if it would have
- 25:55just waited, he could just held the door open. But yeah that if
- 25:57you walk into the liquor store from then on you should get free something.
- 26:00But they should give you a free bottle of something. Nothing great, like
- 26:03he doesn't look like he's going high end on his booths, but maybe something
- 26:10like a well vodka or whatever that guy drinks. I don't know if they
- 26:14mentioned the time of day. Let me back this up a little bit.
- 26:17I'm curious to see if they mention what time of day that this happened.
- 26:22Yeah, this is the reporter from k e Z I nine night here just
- 26:29inches from the door, seconds after somebody had just walked in. I mean,
- 26:33obviously it wasn't my time. Probably the closest I've ever experienced it.
- 26:38Shane Remkey is still shaking just thinking about how he narrowly escaped death on Thursday
- 26:45after a four foot concrete sap blade came flying from a nearby construction site,
- 26:51slamming into the wall of this liquor store. You know, it's also amazing
- 26:55about this is all the things that had to line up for this saw blade
- 27:00to make it to that store, because you see, it managed to go
- 27:04in between two parking spot curbs and pop the actual curb of the store and
- 27:12then slam in just a few inches to the right of the actual glass door.
- 27:18Yeah, I mean there's a lot. I mean, if you look,
- 27:22I mean there's a lot of things that have to happened that at that
- 27:26moment, like everything leading up to that moment, like the saw being in
- 27:29the same location, like him losing his job, or his wife leaving him,
- 27:33whatever it took for him to be going into the store at lunch for
- 27:37liquor, like all of those things. Like Haddy had a job, he
- 27:41wouldn't have been there that day, but apparently Shane, as he is,
- 27:48was let go. And you know what, for all we know Shane had
- 27:51a has a job. It's just that it's so stressful he needs to off
- 27:56little steam at lunch. Or he works at the vape shop next door.
- 28:08Actually in the video here you can see it's a floral shop next door,
- 28:14but maybe next to that is the vape shop. Yeah, can we pan
- 28:18out to see the floral store's emblem? Isn't just a big weed leaf?
- 28:22Is that what we're looking at? Well? The part I have the sign
- 28:25that I can see it does say rhythm and blooms. Oh yeah, that's
- 28:30a that's a head shop. That's what that is. I mean, sure
- 28:33you can buy flowers, but you can also probably buy a dan do seconds
- 28:40after ring Key had just walked in. So I was walking into the store
- 28:44here, put my handle on the door, and I heard a loud bang
- 28:47and yelling over here at the corner. You know what, you're right,
- 28:49rise. Not only does he sound drunk, he sounds a little high.
- 28:55Keep going because there's one part where I don't understand anything, he says.
- 28:57And I heard it a loud bang and yelling over here at the corner,
- 29:02just as a cloud of smoke pops up and I see a guy fall into
- 29:04the ditch and a four foot play hurling at me as I'm walking through the
- 29:08door with A traffic contractor who witnessed the incident says a loose bolt and possible
- 29:14operator error may have caused the giant sopley to come loose and spin away at
- 29:19high speeds, straight for the liquor store. Oh my god, I'm cheers
- 29:25all night, like, yeah it was it was touched by I was did
- 29:32he say tetrifying? Yes? All right, hang on, let me see
- 29:37straight for the liquor store. Oh my god, I'm teers all night like,
- 29:42Yeah, it was, it was touched by you did say he tetrified,
- 29:45It was tertrifying. That's a combination of petrifying and terrifying. I think
- 29:49that's how that thirteen year old kid felt when he beat Tetris. He said,
- 29:52I'm tetrified. So this is my spirit animal, Shane. Keep going,
- 30:03Roger. You know how you mentioned that whatever had happened in Shane's live
- 30:07to be able to go to the store at this time of day during a
- 30:12workday, uh, to get some booze, and you mentioned not having a
- 30:19wife. Yeah, listen to this. Can wait, wait, wait,
- 30:22can we stop one second? Just look at his T shirt or sweatshirt.
- 30:29It looks to be a lion with a crown some type of a halo or
- 30:36son over it, and the lion seems to be holding a bottle, a
- 30:44bottle. I think it's a record with a heart in the middle. I
- 30:48think it's a bottle. I think a bottle of vodka on the Maybe you're
- 30:55right, Mane, that is a record all right on the back of just
- 30:57as former King of the Jungle. He owns the last sound warehouse. Now,
- 31:11kids, for those of you who don't know, before there was Blockbuster.
- 31:14There was a place called sound Warehouse. You bought records there and tapes
- 31:18and they had it all man. Did sound Warehouse even make it to CDs?
- 31:25They did, Yeah, yeah they did. They had to change the
- 31:27banner where it said uh uh vinyl, uh, stereo, cassette and CDs.
- 31:34I remember that. That's pretty cool. Let's go back to hearing Shane.
- 31:38Yeah, revisit the emotional trauma of being hunted by a concrete so blade
- 31:45it was touched by I was, I was shaking in the story. It
- 31:48took me a little bit ready to talk. Store owner one would argue,
- 31:52you still can't, okay, I heard my I heard my Indian person.
- 31:57I heard my Indian person name Graywall and his mother are seen here behind the
- 32:05counter when they hear a loud noise. Gray Wall can see the blade on
- 32:08security camera fly towards his store. All I heard was like a metal rolling
- 32:14down from the street, and they looked at the camera. It was just
- 32:17wind, and all of a sudden we heard a loud bang, like get
- 32:22choked the litterally the whole store. Just for some highth comparison here, I'm
- 32:24about five foot nine. You could see it right here. With the top
- 32:28of the blade is would have been right here at the beginning of my torso
- 32:34the blade Greywall says embedded nearly two feet deep into the wall of his store.
- 32:38You know what's great about this, this is some phenomenal free advertising for
- 32:45Red Bull because usually their ads say red Bull will give you wings. But
- 32:51this blade almost gave Shane wings. And so in this case, the Red
- 32:57Bull actually might have saved Shane because if that Red Bull cooler is not on
- 33:01the other side of that doorframe, that thing may have gone all the way
- 33:05through. And it's a good plug also for their rival, Celsius, because
- 33:08when the reporting starts off, I don't know if you guys see the weird
- 33:12duck in the background, and that's the report for that's the that's the Celsius
- 33:16logo. Well, that part of the Celsius logo is just where it says
- 33:20Celsius. Yeah, the duck logo is for Oregon University. I think it
- 33:25was. Yeah, that's their like the official drink of the organ Ducks.
- 33:30Yeah. For the record, I'm a I'm a big fan of Celsius and
- 33:32Celsius I like to sponsor Treehouse podcast. We can make that happen. Yeah,
- 33:38apparently everybody I know likes the Celsius. I love Celsius. It's good
- 33:44I drink to a day on work days. Wow. Okay, see,
- 33:46it may not be a coincidence that saw blade was going after the red bull.
- 33:50It didn't mess with the Celsius. Just look at you where it's coming
- 33:54from. You're just looking to see an angry duck kind of duck away into
- 33:58an alley. Isn't one who threw it as hard as he could. He
- 34:02says it took three men to remove the massive blade. A contracted traffic worker
- 34:07tells me off camera, Northwest Natural Gas and two other contractors Bricks Paving Northwest
- 34:14and Integrity Traffic, are in the area working on a leaky gas valve near
- 34:19a sidewalk. So I think this is a good time to mention, uh,
- 34:24our natural resources. Of all the resources that I hear about, when
- 34:32it comes to dangerous things happening, it's almost always involving natural gas. Yeah.
- 34:38Coal. You know, if you're in a coal mine, that's dangerous
- 34:42on its own numerous you know, thousands of deaths have happened over the years
- 34:46inside coal mines, Natural gas and contractors banging on gas lines are dangerous for
- 34:53countless people have killed and maimed thousands of people. I've you know, other
- 35:00than skin cancer, I haven't really heard of anyone having an issue at a
- 35:06solar plant. Right, it's also there a solar cell. You know,
- 35:13manufacturers, I don't think you are using concrete saw blades near people. That's
- 35:19correct. And it's also one of those things where they haven't still like posted
- 35:22where all of the natural gas like lines are because they don't know, they
- 35:28throw them into ground and then if someone forgets to write it down. It's
- 35:30what happens is when you have someone like me is the person in charge of
- 35:35writing writing down where the gas lines are, and then he forgets because he
- 35:38got a phone caller, got watched a movie trailer walk through a doorway,
- 35:42and he forgot where it was, and he's like, it's somewhere in here.
- 35:45But see also it was at the time they were laid let's say forty
- 35:50fifty years ago. Yeah, there was this notion of, well, hey,
- 35:55any utility crew that come along after, they're certainly going to look for
- 36:00a map and to see where the gas lines are. That was their mistake
- 36:05is thinking that there there was intelligence that was going to follow them. Yeah.
- 36:08I also had to think as a guy who was suffered from Dan syndrome,
- 36:14and that's he was like, Uh, I got to bring the sam
- 36:17blade, the concrete blade. Damn it was it? Righty lighty ready tidy,
- 36:22lefty Lucy. Who knows? I think it's lefty tidy, righty Lucy.
- 36:28That's exactly right. Let's go. They shut up to work that day.
- 36:31M y Wall says, there's already shifting blame as to who's responsible for
- 36:36this close call. Northwest Natural so was it was already here, so he
- 36:39said, we're not responsible. It's a third body contract that's responsible for this.
- 36:44I reached out to Northwest Natural Gas. They say the incident was very
- 36:47unusual and they're glad no one got hurt. They say a contractor at their
- 36:52site is responsible and they've removed that contractor fromk while they review the incident.
- 36:58Remke says after video of the incident went viral on social media, his kids
- 37:01rushed home to see him. They all came to my house and hug me,
- 37:06and we had lots of guys and because the exactly exactly I was right,
- 37:16you called it. So wait when you work for the contractor and they
- 37:24go, hey, we got a gas leak. I need you to operate
- 37:30that big saw. Don't make any sparks though, because you know, I
- 37:34mean, did they beam the guy down with a red shirt from the Enterprise.
- 37:39Yeah, don't give Ricky the concrete saw. I've actually driven past road
- 37:45crews before doing construction on a highway using one of these concrete saws, and
- 37:51that thing is terrifying to witness firsthand. I can't. I just seen the
- 37:57And maybe that's part of the reason why this video has absolutely thrown me is
- 38:00because I've seen one of these in action, and I've thought, my god,
- 38:02if that guy just wanted to go absolutely crazy, no one can no
- 38:07one can stop him. And if he wanted to go crazy on a car
- 38:10sitting in traffic, he could Where are you gonna go? That thing will
- 38:13cut through the car. So this guy, Shane Rimky, narrowly avoids getting
- 38:19hit by a rampant, runaway road saw blade. Have you guys ever had
- 38:25a near death experience like this with a saw blade? Any near death experience.
- 38:37I'm trying to think a near death I mean I had. It was
- 38:40a car wreck in December that could have been that that would count had that
- 38:45lady been going, you know, a little bit faster, or maybe hit
- 38:49your vehicle rise with a slightly different angle. You may not be sitting here
- 38:52right now. That is true. Uh yeah, I mean there's also every
- 38:58time Trey talks to his mom, that's a near death experience because he wishes
- 39:01for death. Yeah. I wish for death for one of us, you
- 39:07know, And and a lot of times it's either one I don't. I
- 39:10just want the situation to end. Yeah, you'll take it, doesn't matter.
- 39:14Yeah, fifty fifty on so flip a coin. Yeah if you said
- 39:19that now, and then you're got you guys are gonna both die on the
- 39:22same day. And then you gotta go up there and stand in line and
- 39:24wait. I don't know how it works to get in heaven, but now
- 39:27you're just in line with your mom. I thought I had a few years
- 39:31to myself. Yeah, it turns out God does have a sense of humor.
- 39:37Now, God would have had a sense of humor had that guy been
- 39:39walking my the soam blade hits him, cuts him in half, and then
- 39:43he puts himself back together and just like smoke, smoke bombs out of their
- 39:45greatest magician trick ever recorded in history. Like that, that would be God
- 39:51having us. That's a humor that would be solid. But if you want
- 39:54to see a movie or a show where you can kind of see something like
- 40:00this happen, there's a show on Netflix called Three Body Problem. It is
- 40:04fantastic. Highly recommend it and okay, I will add that to my list
- 40:09of shows to watch. And how do you. I'm glad Shane's kids are
- 40:13good. I'm sure they came over and like they said, you know,
- 40:15he said, they gave him big hugs, and I'm sure he went back
- 40:17to the kids, went back to the mom and he's like, the how's
- 40:21your dad? And he's like he's alive and still smells like schnops. Is
- 40:23that all right? It's also when they realized that the court appointed representative didn't
- 40:32know about the visit ahead of time. I've never had a near death experience,
- 40:42like narrowly avoiding a runaway saw blade, but I have driven through Florida
- 40:47twice. Yeah, that is a that is that's scary, buddy. It
- 40:55is Florida is dangerous. I mean, just think of all the animals that
- 41:00Florida has that either want to kill you or could kill you. You got
- 41:04alligators, You've got crocodiles, snakes, pythons that could swallow a hole if
- 41:13it decided to. You know, they're twenty thirty feet long. If it
- 41:15really wants you, it'll get you and there's nothing you can do about it.
- 41:19And I haven't even mentioned the most dangerous creatures in Florida. Yes,
- 41:22Floridians, no cassowaries. What cassowaries? The cassowary. It is the most
- 41:31dangerous bird on the planet. It's like a cross between an ostrich and a
- 41:37velociraptor. It does not look like it should still be on this earth.
- 41:45What you've never seen one? No. It and the shoebill stork are two
- 41:52birds that absolutely terrify me. If you google most dangerous bird on the planet,
- 41:57you will then learn about the cassowary. Raj Okay, there's actually been
- 42:02Let me see if I can find this. Over two hundred attacks on humans
- 42:09are reported every year by cassiwaries, yep, as recent as twenty nineteen.
- 42:17Ironically enough, actually it's not ironic, it's fitting. In twenty nineteen,
- 42:23a Florida man was killed on his own farm by the Cassowary. He owned,
- 42:30yes, yes, that you don't. You don't. You don't seem
- 42:38to believe us. No, I just I don't know. I'm trying to.
- 42:43I'm trying to. It's Cassiwary. I'm looking it up and I and
- 42:47then if you need it, there's a shoebill stork right there. They're also
- 42:52terrifying shoe shoe bill stork. Okay, it just sounds like, yeah,
- 42:59that's one of those kind of like the Cassowary. It looks like a time
- 43:02traveler went back to dinosaur times and brought back what he thought were cute birds
- 43:08and then they promptly murdered him when they got here, and then now they're
- 43:12just here. Birds are the closest closest descents to dinosaurs. And yeah,
- 43:17but that's there's still a couple left that you're you're wondering how they're still around
- 43:22and Florida imported them because these things are from Australia. Yeah, it's is
- 43:27that really important or is that like like you know, how like you if
- 43:30you're a school, you had an a sister school and another country. I
- 43:34feel like Florida and Australia they're there, they have like a home and home.
- 43:37You know, you're you're you're you're our you're our are our brethren from
- 43:44on the other hemisphere. I think you know where you're going. Yeah where?
- 43:47What what we're gonna have is we're gonna have a reboot of the Parent
- 43:51Trap with Australia and Florida. The shoe Bill Store. That just sounds like
- 43:57an old baseball player from the twenties, like, you know you got away
- 44:00from shoebill stork glub you to death. But I just saw it pulled up.
- 44:05I guess the wrong. I'm not I would not be tear. This
- 44:07one's called a dwarf castaway, and that just looks like a very hairy bird.
- 44:14You gotta watch out for the little ones too, because it's sort of
- 44:16like the the would you rather question? Mm hmm. People have asked it
- 44:22with ducks, like would you rather defend yourself against a horse sized duck or
- 44:29duck sized or like a hundred duck sized horses? That's a weird question.
- 44:37And uh, wherever whoever asked you that question was his name Shane. That
- 44:50bird doesn't scare you, see, I didn't see that one, the one
- 44:53that it pulled us. Look at its eyes. It's looking right through your
- 44:58soul into your heart, which is going to eat. And it's got that
- 45:00thing on its head like dinosaurs. It looks like a turkey dinosaur. Yes,
- 45:06yes, and the turkey dinosaur is is dangerous. It's the most dangerous.
- 45:13That's sorry. I'm the most dangerous bird that you can get murdered by
- 45:16the second you don't respect it. Ros you're listening to the tree House visitors

- 46:07did not want to get on the plane because I just got the hot machine
- 46:10and I was like, we're staying, but we live here. Now did
- 46:15you hear about the guy? It was like Christmas or whatever, and his

- 46:29leaving, you dumb beat, you know what I mean? And she's let
- 46:32him go off, and she goes, it's fake, it's not real.

- 47:30dot com. Raj there was some other news that I meant to mention to
- 47:37you at the beginning of the show to give you a heads up, time
- 47:39to think about it, and time for you to I guess accept or come
- 47:45to terms with this. Okay. Are you on OnlyFans? No? I'm
- 47:54not. Are you sure yes? Okay, because there's a possibility here that
- 48:01you might be in an only fans video? Okay, that would be that
- 48:09would be frightening. But you know, I was in Utah for a couple
- 48:14of days. I don't know what they do up there. Well, in
- 48:15Utah. Recently, there is a couple that on social media and their only
- 48:21Fans account goes by the handle Naughty Travelers, and they've gotten themselves in a
- 48:25little bit of a situation because Kaylee and her fiance recently, for their OnlyFans
- 48:37content, went to Zion Park in Utah, which is a site of religious
- 48:43importance due to its rock formations, which are thought to reflect God's majesty.
- 48:47The area is even known as the Heavenly City of God, and they filmed
- 48:53sex acts there for their OnlyFans account. And since you were in Utah,
- 49:00the date of this story coincides with when you were in Utah filming your special.
- 49:06Yes, so I'm just letting you know if you want to add a
- 49:09new credit to when you get brought up on stage can also be seen in
- 49:15OnlyFans. Yeah, I mean it didn't throw that out there. It worked
- 49:19for Matt Rife because he released special on Only Fans, so that credit work
- 49:25for him. But he's doing comedy, not two white people in Utah.
- 49:30So so the Kaylee Killy in is twenty seven and she gets a thrill out
- 49:37of having sex in public. But her most recent venue has caused quite a
- 49:42stir among the Christian community Zion Park in Utah, the site of religious religious
- 49:47importance because of its rock formations, also known as Heavenly City of God.
- 49:52She and her fiance's account boasts over five hundred thousand Instagram fans and they recently
- 49:59visited the park. She and her fiance Cody, and they are known for
- 50:06their frisky outdoor activities. She was brought up Baptist, and she says having
- 50:09sex at a taboo site was a huge part of the thrill. She and
- 50:13Cody took the social media to tease followers on their latest antics ahead of their
- 50:17trip, saying We're gonna have a whole lot of fun. Kaylee's from Arizona.
- 50:22She said, I was brought up Baptist. In my fiance as a
- 50:24Christian, it definitely made it a little more than naughty because we knew religious
- 50:28people would be upset. We would never do anything like this at a church,
- 50:31so this is probably the closest we would get to that. Well,
- 50:37it's good they have a moral compass inside the church. Absolutely not in the
- 50:43city called the Heavenly City of God. Fair in the House of God.
- 50:51Absolutely not in the City of God, for sure. Well maybe if the
- 50:55church was nicer looking, because she says, we chose the spot with the
- 51:00most beautiful view that we could find. It was risky, and we know
- 51:02we could get arrested or at the very least a stern talking to if we
- 51:06were caught. We're always worried when we do it out in the open and
- 51:09try to make sure no one is around. But that's part of the thrill
- 51:13as well. Uh. This is their second National Park to have sex in
- 51:17openly and film for their OnlyFans content. The first was the Grand Canyon,
- 51:22which may have also been her nickname in high school. I just I just
- 51:31like the way they're they're they're scouting, you know, they're they're making sure
- 51:35you know that the money shot is framed with the scenic background. Ansel Adams
- 51:40would be proud. That's that's the calendar that we haven't yet seen from him.
- 51:50A Cody in front of Zion Park is that that's Cody? Follow it
- 52:01up with an ic you know, Norman rockwell S painting. She's on her
- 52:08knees, he's serving Thanksgiving dinner. But at least she has like some American
- 52:15flag necklaces her earrings. No, I think you had it right with the
- 52:22necklace. Yeah. I don't want to desecrate the flag, just k just
- 52:30don't use it as the rag. Now. While Kayley acknowledges people might find
- 52:36their actions at Zion Park disrespectful, she's stressed that the couple does not intend
- 52:40to upset anyone. She said, We don't mean any disrespect. We're just
