0:20
Speaker 1: The Seattle Cracond gun back in the win column in
0:23
Speaker 1: convincing fashion last night in Vancouver, backed by several multipoint
0:28
Speaker 1: performances along with a much anticipated Cracket debut. Bobby McMahon
0:34
Speaker 1: announced his presence with authority, potting a pair of goals
0:37
Speaker 1: and adding an assist, while Matti Vaniers and Jordan Beverley
0:41
Speaker 1: each added three points of their own, all part of
0:44
Speaker 1: a five to two win for Seattle that snapped the
0:46
Speaker 1: four game losing streak. Tonight, the Kracket wrap up a
0:50
Speaker 1: back to back as they welcome in the two time
0:52
Speaker 1: defending Stanley Cup champion in the Florida Panthers, who have
0:55
Speaker 1: won three in a row in the first of two
0:57
Speaker 1: meetings in the next two weeks. Afternoon, Ladies and gentlemen
1:01
Speaker 1: welcome inside of Climate Pledgerina alongside al kiniski I am
1:05
Speaker 1: ever fits you. This is Seattle Kracking Hockey on the
1:08
Speaker 1: Global Credit Union Cracking Audio Network. If you aren't listening
1:10
Speaker 1: to the free game show served up by Frostbrew Course Light,
1:13
Speaker 1: Choose Chill. Seattle needed it to get back in the
1:16
Speaker 1: win column. They had lost four in a row, and
1:19
Speaker 1: not only did they need that win, they needed to
1:22
Speaker 1: do it in a big way, and they got it
1:24
Speaker 1: against Vancouver. Two goals and an assist for Bobby McMahon,
1:28
Speaker 1: Maddie Banier's a goal and two helpers, three assists for
1:31
Speaker 1: Jordan Everley, a pair of assists for Brandon Montor as well,
1:35
Speaker 1: all part of a solid win for the Cracking Up North.
1:38
Speaker 3: Yeah.
1:38
Speaker 4: Normally I rate down positives, positives and challenges after a game,
1:41
Speaker 4: and really the only one that could come up with
1:43
Speaker 4: as far as a challenge was giving up that late
1:45
Speaker 4: goal of Vancouver in the end of the third period.
1:47
Speaker 4: He didn't want that, but it was still a statement win.
1:49
Speaker 4: You get a the third time in franchise history. Seattle
1:52
Speaker 4: had three players with three point nights, Bobby McMahon, as
1:55
Speaker 4: you said, Veneers and Aberdey, so that was a statement
1:58
Speaker 4: in itself. Jared mccannson his ten goal goals streaked by
2:01
Speaker 4: giving one and Grubauer with a big game.
2:03
Speaker 5: As well, stopping thirty of thirty two.
2:05
Speaker 1: Well, hey, he was worth the wait. Bobby McMahon two
2:07
Speaker 1: goals and an assist in his cracking debut. You saw
2:11
Speaker 1: an element that we've heard so much about with McMahon,
2:14
Speaker 1: his speed, the willingness to go to the net. He
2:16
Speaker 1: made a lot of things happen. He probably could have
2:19
Speaker 1: had another goal or two, another assist or two in
2:22
Speaker 1: that game, but he really, at least in that first game,
2:25
Speaker 1: was the full package for Seattle.
2:26
Speaker 4: Yeah, and you saw two very different goals. You saw
2:28
Speaker 4: a power play goal which was just a shot on
2:30
Speaker 4: net that Tolapedo had a difficult time saving. And then
2:33
Speaker 4: you saw him go hard to the back of the
2:35
Speaker 4: net present his stick and it was a great feed
2:37
Speaker 4: that ended up on his stick.
2:39
Speaker 5: He doesn't get that.
2:40
Speaker 4: Goal if, as you said, he doesn't go to the net.
2:42
Speaker 4: So two very different goals there across the red line.
2:45
Speaker 1: In the Florida Panthers, it's been a lot of hockey
2:48
Speaker 1: for the Panthers in the last three seasons. They are
2:50
Speaker 1: second to the NHL. They have played two hundred and
2:53
Speaker 1: seventy five games in the last three seasons, second to
2:57
Speaker 1: the Edmonton Oilers, who heard two seventy seven.
3:00
Speaker 5: They are back to back Cup champions.
3:02
Speaker 1: They've gone to three straight Stanley Cup Finals as well,
3:05
Speaker 1: losing to the Vegas Golden Knights in the first one
3:07
Speaker 1: before winning the each of the last two against the Oilers.
3:10
Speaker 1: They've had a lot of injuries this season. Had the
3:12
Speaker 1: Panthers all of that, they're still just eleven points back
3:16
Speaker 1: of a playoff spot. And I say just eleven points
3:19
Speaker 1: because they're still very talented despite all the players that
3:23
Speaker 1: they've had out. They've won three in a row.
3:24
Speaker 5: Yeah, three in a row.
3:25
Speaker 4: They're coming off an ot win, just their tenth ot
3:27
Speaker 4: of the season. You know, they're a team that struggled
3:30
Speaker 4: that You said they've got enough high octam players, Unfortunately
3:34
Speaker 4: a lot of them are injured right now. You've got Barkovo,
3:36
Speaker 4: You've got Seth Jones to who he knows a big
3:38
Speaker 4: part of their blue line. Marshaan's kind of game, the game,
3:41
Speaker 4: Sam Bennett, Sam Reiner, these are all big guys that
3:45
Speaker 4: contribute a lot of offense for this team. It's amazing
3:47
Speaker 4: that they're still getting it done without them. In the
3:49
Speaker 4: lineup and.
3:50
Speaker 1: Getting some help here today as the Ottawa Senators take
3:54
Speaker 1: down the San Jose Sharps. We're gonna look at your
3:57
Speaker 1: standing at standings. At the moment, the Seattle crackt currently
4:01
Speaker 1: sitting at sixty nine points out here in the Western
4:04
Speaker 1: Conference there one point back of San Jose. So a
4:07
Speaker 1: win today for the Crake and move them back into
4:10
Speaker 1: that second and final wildcard spot. They would also be
4:14
Speaker 1: just two points back of the Edmondson Oilers who the crack.
4:16
Speaker 1: And we'll see at the end of a six game
4:18
Speaker 1: road trip coming up that begins on Thursday in Nashville.
4:22
Speaker 1: Back to the course Light, Landing we Go, section twenty

7:15
Speaker 12: the Seattle Kraken take on.
7:18
Speaker 5: The Florida Panthers.
7:19
Speaker 12: And we are thirty minutes away from dropping the puck
7:21
Speaker 12: against Florida. So how about something else just thirty minutes away? Well,
7:25
Speaker 12: that would be snow Call me Casino and hotel, Visit

7:42
Speaker 12: Back by the corpse light landing in section twenty with
7:44
Speaker 12: the Kraken coming in right now, a chance to jump
7:47
Speaker 12: back into wildcard spot number two because San Jose just
7:51
Speaker 12: lost the Kraken, one point back of the Sharks for
7:54
Speaker 12: the second and final wildcard spot in their record for
7:56
Speaker 12: the Krack in at thirty twenty six to nine point
7:59
Speaker 12: total at six nine and Florida coming in right now,
8:03
Speaker 12: very much behind the eight ball as far as the
8:05
Speaker 12: playoff picture on their side, eleven points out entering today
8:09
Speaker 12: in the Eastern Conference thirty three to twenty nine and nine,
8:12
Speaker 12: their record point total at sixty nine. This matchup, by
8:16
Speaker 12: the way, one up two, can you believe it? This
8:19
Speaker 12: late end of the season, But it won't take long
8:21
Speaker 12: til the next one that comes in Florida on March
8:24
Speaker 12: the twenty fourth. Today the Crack and also getting through
8:27
Speaker 12: once again a back to back. There are eleventh of
8:30
Speaker 12: thirteen endings of back to back situations, and by the
8:33
Speaker 12: matter of record here they're getting the hang of this
8:36
Speaker 12: for this season. Four to four and two in the
8:38
Speaker 12: back end of back to back. That plus four to
8:40
Speaker 12: two and one their record in the last seven outings
8:44
Speaker 12: in that second leg, so a star contrast where last
8:47
Speaker 12: season the Kraken came up empty on all twelve of
8:51
Speaker 12: those opportunities, and that means very important as far as
8:54
Speaker 12: banking points. But for the Crack, and they're also facing
8:57
Speaker 12: the importance of taking advantage on home mice because last
9:00
Speaker 12: homestand well it was a bit of a clunker two
9:03
Speaker 12: and four record, and now the Kraken with two more
9:06
Speaker 12: games to make up some ground have Florida here of
9:09
Speaker 12: course the aura of a two time defending champion, but
9:12
Speaker 12: a tough match up after this coming in Tampa Bay,
9:14
Speaker 12: where the Krakens still hold a sixteen and thirteen and
9:17
Speaker 12: five home record. But yet after Tuesday here's where this
9:21
Speaker 12: important part kicks in the Krack and will be on
9:23
Speaker 12: the road for eight of ten games that plus a
9:27
Speaker 12: Crack and also challenged here to keep pacing this playoff race.
9:30
Speaker 12: Of course, they are one point out with just seventeen
9:33
Speaker 12: games to play, and as far as San Jose and
9:36
Speaker 12: their loss that game, just finishing the Kings that were
9:40
Speaker 12: tied with the Krack and are off today Nashville, by
9:42
Speaker 12: the way, two points back at the Crack and they
9:45
Speaker 12: take on Edmonton in just a matter of minutes herees
9:47
Speaker 12: so we'll certainly keep our eye on that game. But
9:50
Speaker 12: twenty four hours ago last night in Vancouver, it was
9:53
Speaker 12: the debut of a trade deadline pickup.
9:55
Speaker 5: That last night game has advertised.
9:58
Speaker 1: Now with three on two, Seattle back in Beniers near side,
10:02
Speaker 1: Beverley tipped in front, McMahon scors, Bobby McMahon scores again,
10:12
Speaker 1: he's got two and the Kraken go up four to
10:15
Speaker 1: one with fifteen forty six to play. The third.
10:19
Speaker 4: Well, it's Jordan Eberley down that right side and feeds
10:23
Speaker 4: Matty Beaneers with a great pass Eberty back to Bobby
10:27
Speaker 4: McMahon and he puts it behind Toto Bile and that
10:31
Speaker 4: is the fourth goal of the game for the Crack
10:33
Speaker 4: and they're up for to one and Bobby McMahon that
10:36
Speaker 4: was a nice goal.
10:37
Speaker 12: That's what you call smashing debut in a five to
10:40
Speaker 12: two Crack and win over the Canucks. Bobby McMahon scoring
10:43
Speaker 12: in his debut, added to goals three point game and
10:46
Speaker 12: became the first player in Cracking history with a multi
10:49
Speaker 12: goal game in his debut, and he took part of
10:53
Speaker 12: Matty Beniers and Jordan Everley on that line at five
10:55
Speaker 12: on five where the trio combined for nine points in
10:59
Speaker 12: that game. Well us Also a side effect of that,
11:01
Speaker 12: Jared mccam moved to a different line with Chandler Stevenson.
11:04
Speaker 12: He scored a goal in period one, getting him out
11:07
Speaker 12: of a ten game goal scoring droughts. So the effects
11:09
Speaker 12: were certainly felt all over as the Kraken took three
11:12
Speaker 12: games out of four this season against Vancouver and for McMahon,
11:16
Speaker 12: it wasn't a dream, but it was a dreamlike situation
11:19
Speaker 12: again to maybe this kind of game in a player's
11:23
Speaker 12: right of passage.
11:24
Speaker 5: He said after last night.
11:26
Speaker 13: It almost resembles in a way like your first game.
11:30
Speaker 13: He got entirely new group, new organization, new fans. You
11:33
Speaker 13: want to make a great first impression. Sometimes things go
11:36
Speaker 13: your way a little bit more than the other nights,
11:38
Speaker 13: and luckily that was tonight for me.
11:40
Speaker 12: So Bobby McMahon a chance to make a first impression
11:42
Speaker 12: on the home side here for tonight with a crack
11:44
Speaker 12: and see no lineup changes forward or defenseman leading us
11:47
Speaker 12: here into our storylines. First off, they'll follow up back
11:51
Speaker 12: here for the Matti Vaniers line. McMahon on his left,
11:54
Speaker 12: everly on his right, and last night they had the
11:56
Speaker 12: most five on five ice time than anyone else, and
11:58
Speaker 12: for good reason. They're not game A big part of
12:01
Speaker 12: that just a third time the cracking at a trio
12:03
Speaker 12: of players get three points or more in a game,
12:05
Speaker 12: but collectively they are warming up. But here's with goals
12:08
Speaker 12: in three of his last four games, every nine points
12:11
Speaker 12: last seven games, and certainly you factory McMahon's solid start
12:16
Speaker 12: gonna be very intriguing to see what they can do
12:18
Speaker 12: here for this evening. McMahon said he's noticed how much
12:21
Speaker 12: Veneers and every control the play with.
12:24
Speaker 13: Him when the pucks on their stick, they're just so
12:26
Speaker 13: dynamic and unpredictable for the other team, So I'm just
12:29
Speaker 13: trying to get open for those guys. Ebbs is so
12:32
Speaker 13: good at fine pockets around the ice, making those couple
12:35
Speaker 13: slip passes tonight through guys legs. That's that's easy hockey
12:38
Speaker 13: when he's doing that. So he's he's a great player
12:40
Speaker 13: to play with, and Maddy was just a workhorse tonight.
12:43
Speaker 12: Second story line is the crack and power play last night,
12:46
Speaker 12: getting a power play goal where previously they were just
12:49
Speaker 12: two of twenty four, but in the second game of
12:51
Speaker 12: back to back it could be a big factor. Their
12:53
Speaker 12: power play at thirty point three percent in the second
12:56
Speaker 12: leg of back to back that's six best of the NHL.
13:00
Speaker 12: They could get their chances here for today facing a
13:02
Speaker 12: Florida team giving up the second most power play chances
13:05
Speaker 12: in the NHL this season. And finally, our third story line,
13:08
Speaker 12: Joey decord in that pretty common start for him, going
13:11
Speaker 12: second game of back to back and against Florida, He's
13:14
Speaker 12: been great two one and one in four games with
13:17
Speaker 12: a nine to five to nine say percentage. Something we
13:19
Speaker 12: can keep an eye on is playing loose with confidence,
13:23
Speaker 12: and Jared mccannon said the recent losing skid was a
13:25
Speaker 12: reminder of how much confidence matters.
13:28
Speaker 14: It's hard to get out of I feel like, especially
13:30
Speaker 14: when you're you know, you you have times where you're
13:33
Speaker 14: playing great and you're still losing. You know, I think
13:36
Speaker 14: that's the most frusturting part. But you know it's it's
13:38
Speaker 14: a long season. You know you're gonna have ups and downs,
13:41
Speaker 14: and you just got to try to stay level headed.
13:42
Speaker 14: I think we, you know, when we were losing, it
13:45
Speaker 14: was you know, kind of building. You know, the pressure
13:47
Speaker 14: was building, and you know, we had a good talk
13:49
Speaker 14: for the game tonight, just kind of play a little
13:50
Speaker 14: more free and creating with the puck, and he was
13:53
Speaker 14: able to show on it.
13:54
Speaker 12: The look at the Panthers coming up after this. You're

16:43
Speaker 12: two time defending Stanley Cup champions, but they are in
16:47
Speaker 12: danger of being out of the mix from a three peat.
16:50
Speaker 12: Here eleven points out of the playoffs, putting them in
16:53
Speaker 12: danger of missing the postseason for the first time and
16:56
Speaker 12: seven years. A big reason injuries. They have three and
17:00
Speaker 12: eighty one man games lost to injuries here for this season.
17:04
Speaker 12: Brad mar Shand is out, Alexander Barkov is out long
17:08
Speaker 12: term knee surgery back in September. Sam Reinhart will miss
17:11
Speaker 12: this trip. Sam Bennett is day to day. Said Jones

17:16
Speaker 12: nursing a upper body ailment, Joanaganjevich questionable upper body ailment.
17:21
Speaker 12: And they have missed Cardifer Hagen and Anton Lundel Where
17:24
Speaker 12: it is that they could come back in here for
17:25
Speaker 12: today where Palm Maurice basically said, Well, everyone's basically been
17:29
Speaker 12: dealing here with something quote unquote since January twenty fifth
17:33
Speaker 12: of Panthers five to nine and fourteen games, allowing three
17:36
Speaker 12: and a half goals per game. Yet they're tightening things
17:38
Speaker 12: up right now, coming off a two to one win
17:40
Speaker 12: over Columbus, and they have been feast or famin for
17:43
Speaker 12: much of this season. Five times they have had three
17:46
Speaker 12: game win streaks or more. Only New York, Montreal, the Islanders, Montreal, Detroit, Carolina,
17:51
Speaker 12: and Dallas have more. But they are all right now
17:55
Speaker 12: in the playoff picture. As the Panthers beginning a massive
17:58
Speaker 12: swing on the road right now, six of the next
18:00
Speaker 12: eight games will be played away from Sunrise, Florida. Panther
18:05
Speaker 12: storylines first off, and give it Matthew could chuck right
18:07
Speaker 12: now on ironic Corus gaining a lot of attention from
18:09
Speaker 12: his gold medal for Team USA in the Olympics. He's
18:12
Speaker 12: in a four game points streak and against the krakend
18:14
Speaker 12: he has been tough on them eleven points so far
18:17
Speaker 12: in nine lifetime matchups. And secondly, Danil tarasavvin net third
18:22
Speaker 12: time facing the Kraken in his career. His last game,
18:25
Speaker 12: he beat the Red Wings on Mars Tech, making twenty
18:27
Speaker 12: five saves.
18:29
Speaker 5: Well, it's the most.
18:29
Speaker 12: Wonderful time of the year, right, Well, here's that coach
18:32
Speaker 12: Paul Marie on how he've used this matchup the Kraken
18:35
Speaker 12: and the weight the high stakes games at this time
18:38
Speaker 12: of year.
18:38
Speaker 17: They're going through what we went through. Right, They had
18:41
Speaker 17: their four game losing streak exactly like we had in
18:43
Speaker 17: March three years ago. The pressure that's on all of
18:47
Speaker 17: those teams, especially when it's their their chance to fight
18:51
Speaker 17: into the playoffs, combines it it's a matt So I
18:54
Speaker 17: think you saw it in the Columbus game, our game
18:57
Speaker 17: because it won nothing, they're honest pretty good. When that
19:00
Speaker 17: game got tied, there's a major pressure shift in the building.
19:05
Speaker 17: So I think that you will see that with all
19:07
Speaker 17: of these teams Seattle, especially on this road trip. They're
19:12
Speaker 17: gonna play the game the right way. They're gonna play
19:14
Speaker 17: as hard as it can. The longer it goes tight,
19:17
Speaker 17: the better to our advantage that.
19:19

21:31
Speaker 5: We're back.
21:31
Speaker 1: It's on a climb that plaid gerna Seattle, beginning a
21:34
Speaker 1: brief two game home stand before the head out on
21:37
Speaker 1: the road for six games. We're gonna call that a
21:40
Speaker 1: two week road trip with a layover in Seattle. That's
21:43
Speaker 1: exactly how it's gonna be. The cracking on the road
21:46
Speaker 1: for five, come home for family day or laundry day,
21:50
Speaker 1: and then go to Edmonston packing a trunk. I was
21:53
Speaker 1: spraying a all big old truncket for a suitcase. Ever,
21:57
Speaker 1: Fitzy al Koniski alongside cracking snapping a four game slide
22:00
Speaker 1: last night, five two winners up in Vancouver. Big night
22:04
Speaker 1: for Bobby McMahon among others on this cracking roster. They
22:08
Speaker 1: have to keep it going here Tonight they got some
22:10
Speaker 1: help San Jose lost, so a win tonight. They're back
22:14
Speaker 1: in that second and final wild guard spot. How can
22:17
Speaker 1: they get that done this evening? Well, First of all,
22:19
Speaker 1: a great start last night up in Vancouver. The boys
22:21
Speaker 1: came out like they'd had two double espressos and a
22:23
Speaker 1: red Bull chaser. Tonight against the Florida Panthers. That same
22:27
Speaker 1: jump has to show up right out of the gate.
22:29
Speaker 1: None of that ease into it nonsense. The Panthers are
22:32
Speaker 1: the kind.
22:32
Speaker 4: Of team that'll turn sleep a sleepy first five minutes
22:35
Speaker 4: into a two goal kicking the junk, first shift, first hit,
22:39
Speaker 4: first shot, like they've walked into the wrong aquarium. If
22:44
Speaker 4: Seattle grabs the early punch, the building gets loud, and
22:46
Speaker 4: suddenly the Cats are looking for the litterbox. Secondly, play
22:51
Speaker 4: fast and simple. Back to back hockey. Isn't the time
22:54
Speaker 4: to get cute with the pocket like you're auditioning for
22:56
Speaker 4: a sports center.
22:57
Speaker 5: Top ten plays in the week.
22:59
Speaker 4: Move it quick north and south and keep the Panthers
23:01
Speaker 4: skating in circles like they're chasing a laser pointer, as
23:04
Speaker 4: Cats tend to do. Simple hockey wins these games. Get
23:08
Speaker 4: it deep, win the battles, and make Florida to fin
23:11
Speaker 4: instead of freelancing. When Seattle plays fast and uncomplicated, they're
23:15
Speaker 4: a nightmare to track down. Think less broad away and
23:18
Speaker 4: more blue collar bar fight and then third continue the momentum.
23:23
Speaker 4: Momentum in the NHL is a funny thing, like a
23:25
Speaker 4: shopping cart with a busted wheel. If you keep pushing it,
23:28
Speaker 4: it rolls along nicely, but the second you stop it
23:30
Speaker 4: wobbles off into traffic. Seattle grabs some of that mood,
23:33
Speaker 4: that good mojo in Vancouver last night, and tonight's the
23:36
Speaker 4: chance to keep the streak simmering. The Panthers are heavy,
23:40
Speaker 4: skilled and happy to ruin your Sunday kind of team.
23:43
Speaker 4: If you let them keep the foot on the gas
23:45
Speaker 4: and make it miserable, make it a miserable road stop
23:47
Speaker 4: for Florida. So on. Summary, here's the recipe. Crack a nation.
23:51
Speaker 4: Listen up, Jump on the Panthers early, and, just like
23:55
Speaker 4: petting a cap backwards with a wet hand, make them uncomfortable.
23:58
Speaker 5: Keep the game fast and simple.
24:00
Speaker 4: And ride that Vancouver momentum just like a beach cruiser
24:03
Speaker 4: along Elliott Bay. No slow starts, no fancy nonsense, and
24:06
Speaker 4: absolutely no looving Floria, but Florida feel comfortable. If Seattle
24:10
Speaker 4: brings the same bite they had last night, the Panthers
24:13
Speaker 4: might find out this aquarium has teeth. Two games at
24:16
Speaker 4: home to start a lot better when the Cats leave
24:19
Speaker 4: town a little scratched up.
24:21
Speaker 1: Hearing you do that, it reminds me of just how
24:24
Speaker 1: easily annoyed cats get.
24:26
Speaker 4: You take a wet hand and backwards on a cat
24:29
Speaker 4: that cat's coming for again.
24:31
Speaker 1: He doesn't like the top line last night for Seattle
24:34
Speaker 1: of Matt Evenier's, Bobby McMahon and Jordan Everley. They were probably,
24:41
Speaker 1: I felt, one of the best lines that we've seen
24:43
Speaker 1: in quite some time, McMahon fitting in perfectly on that
24:47
Speaker 1: top line. What went right for those three last night?
24:50
Speaker 1: Was it simply just that there were a new piece
24:54
Speaker 1: in that lineup.
24:55
Speaker 4: Well, I think, you know, having a player into the
24:56
Speaker 4: lineup like Bobby mcnannt did last night doesn't just do
24:59
Speaker 4: something for Jordan Eberley and Matt Evaneers, and clearly it did.
25:02
Speaker 4: It does something for the whole lineup, you know, adding
25:04
Speaker 4: a new piece where you think this is gonna be
25:06
Speaker 4: a difference maker for us. Not to say that, you know,
25:09
Speaker 4: Jacob Lonton, who came out of the lineup, isn't a
25:11
Speaker 4: difference maker, but just a new face in the lineup
25:13
Speaker 4: sometimes does that. And then specifically with Maddy Evaniers and
25:16
Speaker 4: Jordan Everley, I thought he fitted well. It's gonna take
25:18
Speaker 4: some time to really see how well, but they looked
25:21
Speaker 4: good together last night.
25:23
Speaker 1: Here tonight against the Florida Panthers. You know, We've talked
25:25
Speaker 1: a lot about in the past, the history of the
25:28
Speaker 1: crack and in the second back of back to backs,
25:30
Speaker 1: but they've been able to debuck that trend here tonight,
25:34
Speaker 1: I asked Lane Lambert, we'll hear that in a second.
25:36
Speaker 1: How important a good start's gonna be with the Crack in.
25:39
Speaker 1: But they cannot afford to sleep walk into this game,
25:41
Speaker 1: you know, they certainly can't. And they've had a lot
25:43
Speaker 1: more success this year in back to backs after going
25:46
Speaker 1: twelve and oh last year. They're looking a lot better.
25:49
Speaker 1: But the key to that is simple hockey. We've talked
25:51
Speaker 1: to Lane Lambert a lot about that. He likes that
25:54
Speaker 1: kind of style of hockey, especially from the start of
25:56
Speaker 1: the game. You don't need to try and win the
25:58
Speaker 1: game in the first five minutes. You know who wins
26:01
Speaker 1: the game in the first time in its ROSTO.
26:02
Speaker 5: Mike mcbett, Mike Betton, he's always been of the game.
26:05

28:40
Speaker 1: Lane A five to two win in Vancouver. Just take
28:43
Speaker 1: us through. Another convincing statement went over the Canucks.
28:47
Speaker 22: Ah, yeah, I thought we started the game well, we
28:49
Speaker 22: had a little bit of a you know, they had
28:51
Speaker 22: a little bit of a push after they scored their
28:53
Speaker 22: first goal. But I thought for the most part, we
28:55
Speaker 22: did a lot of good things in that hockey game.
28:56
Speaker 22: We moved pucks, we made plays, We played faster than
29:00
Speaker 22: we have been. We need to continue that here against
29:02
Speaker 22: Florida today.
29:03
Speaker 1: The worth the way to it was worth it for
29:06
Speaker 1: Bobby McMahon. He gets two goals and it assists last night.
29:09
Speaker 1: Obviously you know the type of player that he is.
29:11
Speaker 1: But what did you see from him on the ice
29:13
Speaker 1: in his first game with the Kraken.
29:15
Speaker 22: Yeah, I thought he just kept it simple, used his speed.
29:18
Speaker 22: You know, you get tell right off the bat first
29:20
Speaker 22: shift when he tracked that guy down over in the
29:22

29:26
Speaker 22: he can he can make plays and clearly you know
29:30
Speaker 22: he's he's surpassed the twenty goal mark here for the
29:34
Speaker 22: second year in a row. So you know, we we've
29:38
Speaker 22: been waiting for him and we certainly could have used
29:40
Speaker 22: him in some of those games here. You know potentially
29:43
Speaker 22: could have made a difference. But he's here now and
29:46
Speaker 22: he made a difference last night.
29:47
