Quarry Parties Lead to Deputies | Gainesville News
Folks are still risking it all to sneak into a Florida quarry for swims and parties—deputies busted two separate groups in under a week, with 13 and then 6 people caught trying to breach the fence. Social media’s spreading the word fast, but the danger is real: hidden currents, steep drops, and zero safety. Sheriff’s deputies are on high alert, making it clear this isn’t a public pool—and they’re not messing around. A wild reminder that online fun can turn deadly if you don’t think twice.
