Transcript
- 0:00Speaker: I remember staring at the pages of my journal.
- 0:04Speaker: I was writing out what my dream life would look like.
- 0:07Speaker: Bright studio lights, cameras in place, me in a red coat, black hair curled just enough.
- 0:15Speaker: Here's what my real life looked like that day.
- 0:18Speaker: Marriage under strain, money pressure, kids adjusting to a rental home s- we were in because someone had tried to burn down our home.
- 0:29Speaker: So I sat there with a pen, writing out a life I had no evidence for, not one shred.
- 0:37Speaker: I was looking for proof, some sign it was on its way.
- 0:42Speaker: There was none.
- 0:43Speaker: That was years ago.
- 0:46Speaker: So welcome to the Stuck No More Voices podcast.
- 0:49Speaker: I'm Theresa Croft.
- 0:50Speaker: I'm a visibility strategist who helps Christian women clarify the story they carry, position their message, and build a visibility pathway so the right people can find them and work with them.
- 1:03Speaker: Before we get started, two quick things.
- 1:05Speaker: Can you subscribe to this channel on YouTube?
- 1:09Speaker: And also share the episode,'cause that's how the right women get in the room.
- 1:14Speaker: So share this ep- episode on Apple Podcasts.
- 1:18Speaker: So let's get into this.
- 1:21Speaker: I told myself that I've been enjoying the Calling Table sessions, but I told myself I would not lose my voice in the process.
- 1:29Speaker: So can I share a bit more about that journal entry from such a long time ago?
- 1:35Speaker: To do that, I need to fast-forward the moment I noticed.
- 1:42Speaker: Recently, I was interviewing yet another amazing woman about her story.
- 1:46Speaker: Bright lights, my camera, my microphone, and it occurred to me right in the middle of it, I was sitting inside the journal entry.
- 1:56Speaker: I had been living in it for a while and had not noticed.
- 2:01Speaker: Nobody hands you a moment and tells you,"This is the one you wrote down." God does not always answer a prayer with an announcement.
- 2:10Speaker: Sometimes he answers it so gradually that you look up one Monday and you're already standing in it.
- 2:18Speaker: Why we miss it.
- 2:20Speaker: Here's what I want you to know.
- 2:23Speaker: Sit with it.
- 2:25Speaker: Most women miss the answered prayer, the version they wrote down, because they're still looking for it.
- 2:30Speaker: The version they wrote down, the exact studio, the exact room, the exact people they pictured.
- 2:37Speaker: God is rarely that literal.
- 2:39Speaker: He's more like a father.
- 2:41Speaker: He reads what you wrote down and then answers with something better than the picture you drew.
- 2:47Speaker: You wrote studio lights.
- 2:49Speaker: He gave you a mic.
- 2:51Speaker: You wrote red coat.
- 2:52Speaker: He gave you a voice.
- 2:54Speaker: You wrote curls.
- 2:56Speaker: He gave you a woman across the table you would not have known how to reach if it was answered on your timeline.
- 3:04Speaker: The pain you were in, that you wrote on the pages, was not a disqualifier.
- 3:10Speaker: It was the ground the prayer grew out of.
- 3:13Speaker: I would not trade what he gave me for what I asked for.
- 3:17Speaker: No, I wouldn't trade it, not one square inch of it.
- 3:21Speaker: So check the patterns.
- 3:23Speaker: Watch this pattern in your own life.
- 3:26Speaker: The prayer comes out of the pain.
- 3:28Speaker: The pain gets worse before the answer comes.
- 3:32Speaker: The answer comes quietly.
- 3:34Speaker: You almost miss it because you were expecting fireworks.
- 3:38Speaker: And then one day you look up, you are already in it.
- 3:41Speaker: The business you prayed about is already running.
- 3:45Speaker: The woman you asked God to send you is already in your DMs.
- 3:50Speaker: The room you begged him for is already the room you are standing in.
- 3:55Speaker: Do not miss the answered prayer because it does not match the drawing.
- 4:02Speaker: So listen, don't give up on the vision.
- 4:05Speaker: The pain you are in right now is not the opposite of your destiny, it's often the setup for it.
- 4:13Speaker: Yeah, you keep writing the pages.
- 4:15Speaker: You keep praying the prayers.
- 4:17Speaker: You keep showing up on the Mondays that feel like nothing.
- 4:21Speaker: And keep your eyes on God more than on your pages.
- 4:25Speaker: He's the one writing it.
- 4:27Speaker: The journal is just where you wrote it down.
- 4:31Speaker: If you are in a season where you are writing the pages and they have no evidence, hear me on this.
- 4:39Speaker: You are not delusional.
- 4:41Speaker: You are prophetic.
- 4:42Speaker: And if you want help seeing the journal entry become the reality, well, I do this inside my private mentorship.
- 4:51Speaker: We take the pages, the prayers, and the pain- We put them side by side with God who's already building, and then we go into the story gold mapping.
- 5:03Speaker: Yeah, you can find that out at the Calling Activation Study, the next one coming up.
- 5:08Speaker: It's where we go from your calling to your story to the path where people can find you.
- 5:16Speaker: It's exciting because we get together with other women, go through the whiteboard method, and really dig in and find what God is already positioning you for.
- 5:26Speaker: So that's coming up in October 14th, I believe is the next one.
- 5:30Speaker: So listen, listen.
- 5:33Speaker: Keep listening to Stuck No More Voices podcast because a woman may come along that has your story or the answers to your pain.
- 5:40Speaker: Oftentimes it's their misery that would set them up for their destiny to speak it out on the Calling Table sessions.
- 5:48Speaker: Meanwhile, I'm Theresa Croft.
- 5:49Speaker: I'll talk to you in the next episode of the Stuck No More Voices podcast
