• 3:21
Speaker 2: is really incredible to see just how, powerful how, accurate
• 3:27
Speaker 2: and how good our intelligence has been obviously Sharing israel
• 3:31
Speaker 2: back and forth intelligence taking out not just The ietolia
• 3:35
Speaker 2: but virtually everyone around him at this, point that is
• 3:39
Speaker 2: a job you don't, want by the, way because every
• 3:41
Speaker 2: time they keep naming a new, person we take him
• 3:42
Speaker 2: out within, minutes if not, hours of them being named
• 3:45
Speaker 2: to their new. Job this is a big display of
• 3:48
Speaker 2: What america can do.
• 3:50
Speaker 3: Well there's no doubt that our military has been incredibly,
• 3:53
Speaker 3: effective you. KNOW i will, say as we're now just
• 3:57
Speaker 3: about a week into the attack On, iran there are
• 4:01
Speaker 3: people who are asking what is our? Objective and it
• 4:05
Speaker 3: has been less than transparently clear to a fair number
• 4:10
Speaker 3: of folks what it is we're trying to. ACCOMPLISH i
• 4:12
Speaker 3: want to be very clear what it is that we're
• 4:14
Speaker 3: trying to. Accomplish iran is a profound national security threat
• 4:21
Speaker 3: to The United. States the regime In iran for forty
• 4:26
Speaker 3: seven years has been the number one state funder of
• 4:29
Speaker 3: terrorism in the. World for forty seven, Years iran has
• 4:34
Speaker 3: provided ninety percent of the funding TO, amas ninety percent
• 4:38
Speaker 3: of the funding To, hesbela ninety percent of the funding
• 4:41
Speaker 3: to The. Huthis they have killed to date nearly one Thousand.
• 4:47
Speaker 3: Americans The, iyatola when he was still, alive would lead
• 4:53
Speaker 3: mobs chanting death To. America The iyatola twice hired hit
• 5:00
Speaker 3: men to try to Murder President Donald. Trump The president
• 5:07
Speaker 3: On saturday made the decision to go, in to go
• 5:10
Speaker 3: in with overwhelming force and to take out The, ayatola
• 5:15
Speaker 3: to take out this. Regime what's the? Objective let me
• 5:19
Speaker 3: be very, Clear the objective is regime. Collapse it is
• 5:24
Speaker 3: taking this government. Out The ayatola was eliminated the first.
• 5:28
Speaker 3: Day much of His national Security, council the top, leadership
• 5:33
Speaker 3: was eliminated the first day they were meeting. Together israel
• 5:38
Speaker 3: took them out with a targeted, bombing and they're. Gone moving,
• 5:44
Speaker 3: forward our objectives likewise are taking Out iran's short range
• 5:52
Speaker 3: and medium range missiles and their drone. Capacity now right, Now,
• 5:56
Speaker 3: iran we just had a very lengthy classified briefing this,
• 6:00
Speaker 3: week SO i heard from the senior administration officials on
• 6:04
Speaker 3: all of these. Issues iran has been producing roughly one
• 6:08
Speaker 3: hundred missiles a, month and one of the reasons that
• 6:12
Speaker 3: the administration acted now is you, look so today we
• 6:16
Speaker 3: have SIX us servicemen and women who'd been killed if
• 6:24
Speaker 3: we had. Delayed iran was building so many, Missiles iran
• 6:28
Speaker 3: was building so many drones that an attack at a
• 6:31
Speaker 3: later date would have likely resulted in substantially MORE us.
• 6:36
Speaker 2: Casualties, yeah AND i think a lot of people didn't
• 6:38
Speaker 2: understand how close they were actually doing.
• 6:40
Speaker 3: That, yeah, Listen, iran in the course of the nuclear
• 6:46
Speaker 3: negotiations had told our negotiators that they had uranium and
• 6:51
Speaker 3: enrich uranium sufficient to produce eleven nuclear. Bombs and their,
• 6:57
Speaker 3: INTENTION i, believe was to develop nuclear. Weapons and to be, honest,
• 7:02
Speaker 3: look they wanted nuclear. WEAPONS i think if they had
• 7:05
Speaker 3: had nuclear, weapons they would have used nuclear. Weapons the
• 7:09
Speaker 3: risk was unacceptable that The, iotola when the guy routinely
• 7:14
Speaker 3: screams death To. America if there's one principle of, geopolitics
• 7:20
Speaker 3: it's when someone tells you they want to kill you believe. Them,
• 7:26
Speaker 3: yeah The iyatola and The Iotola. Kamene by the, way
• 7:30
Speaker 3: his predecessor was The Iatola. Komene their names are really.
• 7:34
Speaker 3: Similar they're different. Dudes they're both theocratic lunatics who Hated
• 7:39
Speaker 3: american and they both have killed vast numbers Of America.
• 7:48
Speaker 3: Americans they have been waging war AGAINST us for forty seven.
• 7:51
Speaker 3: Years and as you, KNOW i spent virtually the entire
• 7:57
Speaker 3: day On friday right before this war launched With President.
• 8:00
Speaker 3: TRUMP i was On Air force one with. HIM i
• 8:03
Speaker 3: was in the beast riding one on one with, him
• 8:05
Speaker 3: and we spent most of that time talking About. Iran
• 8:08
Speaker 3: it was right before he issued the go order AND
• 8:12
Speaker 3: i was urging. HIM i, said this regime has never
• 8:18
Speaker 3: been more, fragile never been more. Vulnerable do not let
• 8:22
Speaker 3: this opportunity. Pass take them out, now because there is very,
• 8:29
Speaker 3: little if, anything we can do in the global stage
• 8:32
Speaker 3: that will IMPROVE us national security more taking out The iranian.
• 8:37
Speaker 3: Regime this will Make americans. Safer Donald trump, agreed and
• 8:42
  Speaker 3: the actor.
• 8:45
Speaker 2: SATOR i want to get back into what we're talking
• 8:46
  Speaker 2: about With.
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: IRAN a moment.
• 8:47
Speaker 2: Ago the objective question has been a really important one
• 8:53
Speaker 2: and an important. Response there are a lot of conservatives
• 8:55
Speaker 2: that are worried about getting into a never ending. War
• 8:58
Speaker 2: there's a lot of people that will never get my
• 9:00
Speaker 2: generation of that evidence that was put before THE un
• 9:05
Speaker 2: about why we should go Into iraq and we found
• 9:07
Speaker 2: out that intelligence was, well basically, crap and there's people
• 9:11
Speaker 2: that worry that we're going to get into another situation like.
• 9:13
Speaker 2: That i'm not worried about. THAT i think The president's
• 9:16
Speaker 2: been very clear by his objective, here AND i want
• 9:19
Speaker 2: you to talk more about it BECAUSE i think there's
• 9:21
Speaker 2: a lot of people that have those questions for good.
• 9:23
Speaker 3: Reason the objective is very, simple to collapse this, regime
• 9:30
Speaker 3: to take this regime out of. Power, NOW i will
• 9:33
Speaker 3: say The trump administration has been a little bit cautious
• 9:36
Speaker 3: and articulating, That AND i think the reason is they
• 9:40
Speaker 3: are reluctant to say the words regime. Change and you
• 9:44
Speaker 3: just highlighted, why because regime change brings back The Iraq
• 9:48
Speaker 3: war brings Back GEORGE. W bush and a lot of bad. Experiences,
• 9:51
Speaker 3: now let me be, CLEAR i think The Iraq war
• 9:54
Speaker 3: was a. Mistake i've been very. Clear i've been on
• 9:56
Speaker 3: the record for that for more than a decade that
• 9:59
Speaker 3: The Iraq war was a. Mistake that being, said The
• 10:02
Speaker 3: Iraq war was a mistake because we went In Saddam,
• 10:06
Speaker 3: hussein who was an evil, dictator was murdering his own,
• 10:09
Speaker 3: people he was killing. Terrorists we came, in we Toppled Saddam,
• 10:13
Speaker 3: hussein the terrorists took. Over they began Killing. Americans it
• 10:16
Speaker 3: Made america less. Safe by the, way we did the
• 10:18
Speaker 3: same thing In. Libya kadafi was again an evil. Tyrant
• 10:22
Speaker 3: he was murdering his own, citizens he was killing. Terrorists
• 10:25
Speaker 3: we came in and toppled. Him the terrorists took over
• 10:28
Speaker 3: began Killing. AMERICANS i don't believe we should do something
• 10:31
Speaker 3: that results in More americans being at. Risk this is
• 10:35
Speaker 3: a qualitatively different. Situation The iatola and The mullahs have
• 10:40
Speaker 3: effectively declared war on The United. States they have been
• 10:43
Speaker 3: waging more actively Killing americans for forty seven. Years they
• 10:48
Speaker 3: have been funding terrorists Killing americans for forty seven. Years
• 10:52
Speaker 3: and so removing, radical, theocratic homicidal and genostidal maniacs from
• 10:59
Speaker 3: power Makes america substantially. Safer that's what the administration is.
• 11:05
Speaker 3: Doing they haven't necessarily articulated that the objective is regime.
• 11:09
Speaker 3: Collapse what they've talked about is they've, said we want
• 11:12
Speaker 3: to take out the short range, missiles the medium range,
• 11:15
Speaker 3: missiles the, drones the drone manufacturing, capacity the missile manufacturing.
• 11:19
Speaker 3: Capacity all of that is. Right but, look there are
• 11:23
Speaker 3: lots of countries On earth that have short range and
• 11:25
Speaker 3: medium range. Missiles france has short range and medium range.
• 11:28
Speaker 3: Missiles we're not Bombing france right. Now Why Because france
• 11:32
Speaker 3: is not led by theocratic lunatics who want to murder.
• 11:35
Speaker 3: Us the reason we're acting Against iran is the, government
• 11:40
Speaker 3: The iyahtola who's no longer with. Us thank, you And
• 11:43
Speaker 3: i'm very glad he went to meet his seventy two.
• 11:45
Speaker 3: Virgins i'm sure he is deeply dismayed when he discovers
• 11:51
Speaker 3: that all seventy two of his virgins Are Nick. Fuenttez
• 11:54
Speaker 3: i'm sure that that is not what he, anticipated. Hah
• 11:58
Speaker 3: but It the reason we are acting is because the
• 12:04
Speaker 3: leadership of this country has been trying to and has
• 12:07
Speaker 3: been in fact Killing. Americans AND i want you to
• 12:11
Speaker 3: listen To President trump when he talks about number. ONE
• 12:16
Speaker 3: i want you to listen To President trump when he
• 12:18
Speaker 3: talks about the successes we've.
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: Had give a.
• 12:19
Speaker 4: Listen and before we, BEGIN i THINK i will say
• 12:23
Speaker 4: a few words about what's going on with respect to
• 12:27
Speaker 4: our operation in the country Of. Iran The United states,
• 12:33
Speaker 4: military together with the Wonderful israeli, partners continues to totally
• 12:40
Speaker 4: demolish the, enemy far ahead of schedule and at levels
• 12:46
Speaker 4: that people have never seen. Before, actually we're destroying more
• 12:50
Speaker 4: Of iran's missiles and drone capability every single, hour knocking
• 12:55
Speaker 4: him out like nobody thought it was. Possible as soon
• 12:59
Speaker 4: as they off a, missile within four, minutes the launcher
• 13:04
Speaker 4: gets hit they don't know what's. Happening but we have
• 13:07
Speaker 4: the greatest military anywhere in the. World their navy is,
• 13:11
Speaker 4: gone twenty four ships in three. Days that's a lot of.
• 13:15
Speaker 4: Ships they're anti aircraft weapons are, gone so they have
• 13:23
Speaker 4: no air, force they have no air. Defense all of
• 13:26
Speaker 4: their airplanes are, gone the communications are, gone missiles are,
• 13:33
Speaker 4: gone launches are, gone about sixty and sixty four. Respectively
• 13:39
Speaker 4: other than, that they're doing quite. WELL i, said what's.
• 13:43
Speaker 4: Left but they're tough and they want to, fight and they're.
• 13:48
Speaker 4: Calling they're, saying how do we make a? DEAL i,
• 13:51
Speaker 4: said you're being a little bit, late and we want
• 13:54
Speaker 4: to fight now more than they. Do we've had seven,
• 14:00
Speaker 4: years depending on the way you count, it but forty
• 14:03
Speaker 4: seven years of horror with this. Group and you know
• 14:08
Speaker 4: when you see somebody walking down the street without their,
• 14:11
Speaker 4: legs without the, arms whose faces so badly affected and,
• 14:17
Speaker 4: hurt it mostly came from Nine solemony And, iran and
• 14:26
Speaker 4: we are the presidents lived with.
• 14:30
  Speaker 1: IT i didn't live with.
• 14:30
Speaker 4: It and so our people are doing a great job,
• 14:33
Speaker 4: again the greatest military any one's scene.
• 14:37
  Speaker 1: CENTER i love.
• 14:38
Speaker 2: That he just is so proper. Military but let's go
• 14:41
Speaker 2: back to the oil part as, well which is really.
• 14:43
Speaker 3: Important so one of the critical pieces of this that
• 14:46
Speaker 3: many people don't realize is that between going After maduro
• 14:50
Speaker 3: And venezuela and going After, iran in addition to taking
• 14:55
Speaker 3: out two very serious enemies Of, America President trump is
• 14:59
Speaker 3: also taking a serious step Against china because Both venezuela
• 15:04
Speaker 3: And iran have been sending vast amounts of oil To.
• 15:09
Speaker 3: China what percent Of iran's oil exports do you think
• 15:13
Speaker 3: have historically gone To?
• 15:15
  Speaker 1: CHINA i got.
• 15:16
Speaker 2: It i'm going to guess it's a significant amount because
• 15:19
Speaker 2: they definitely need them as an.
• 15:20
Speaker 3: Ally oh that was kind of a weasley, answer but
• 15:24
Speaker 3: let me let me give you them more precise. Answer
• 15:26
Speaker 3: that would be eighty seven point two percent Of iran's
• 15:29
Speaker 3: oil export gone To. China what percent Of venezuela's do
• 15:32
  Speaker 3: you think when.
• 15:33
Speaker 2: It's got to be say sixty percent, plus that's actually.
• 15:36
Speaker 3: Pretty good fifty five point one. Percent so more than
• 15:39
Speaker 3: half Of venezuela's and nearly ninety percent Of iran's have
• 15:43
Speaker 3: gone To. China and so the effect of taking both
• 15:46
Speaker 3: of these leaders out has been not only to reduce
• 15:50
Speaker 3: the threats To, america but it has done a serious
• 15:53
Speaker 3: blow To china and their energy. Sources that makes a
• 15:56
  Speaker 3: big difference For.
• 15:56
Speaker 2: AMERICA i want to be honest with you for a
• 15:59
Speaker 2: second about how an act of compassion really. FEELS a

Speaker 3: Removing Christy nome From secretary OF dhs and replacing her
• 17:30
Speaker 3: with With Mark Wayne. MULLEN i have to say this
• 17:32
Speaker 3: was not much of a surprise to anyone watching. Closely
• 17:37
Speaker 3: Christy nome testified before The Senate Judiciary committee this. WEEK
• 17:41
Speaker 3: i was part of that that. HEARING i questioned her
• 17:43
Speaker 3: on it that the questioning was bumpy and and and
• 17:48
Speaker 3: she Got The democrats of, course went after or, hard
• 17:52
Speaker 3: but a number Of republicans went after her heart as.
• 17:54
Speaker 3: Well AND i have to say one of those that
• 17:57
Speaker 3: that was the most effective was my friend and colleague From,
• 18:02
Speaker 3: Louisiana John. Kennedy john has been on this podcast and
• 18:07
  Speaker 3: he's someone who's a good friend of. MINE i want
• 18:10
Speaker 3: to Play John kennedy's cross examination Of Christy nome because
• 18:14
Speaker 3: this was this proved very consequential cross. Examination give a.
• 18:18
Speaker 5: Listen how do you square that concern for, waste WHICH
• 18:27
Speaker 5: i share with the fact that you have spent two
• 18:34
Speaker 5: hundred and twenty million dollars running television advertisements that feature you. Prominently.
• 18:45
Speaker 6: Sir The president tasked me with getting the message out
• 18:48
Speaker 6: to the country and to other countries where we were
• 18:50
Speaker 6: seeing the invasion come, from with putting commercials out that
• 18:54
Speaker 6: told them that if they were in this country, illegally
• 18:57
Speaker 6: that they needed to leave or we would detain them
• 18:59
Speaker 6: and re move them and they not get the chance
• 19:01
Speaker 6: to come back To america the right way that has
• 19:04
  Speaker 6: been extremely.
• 19:05
Speaker 5: Effective ask you to run these, advertisements is that?
• 19:10
Speaker 6: Right we had that. Conversation, yes BEFORE i was put
• 19:14
Speaker 6: in this position and sworn in and confirmed and since
• 19:17
  Speaker 6: then as.
• 19:17
Speaker 5: Well, okay did you did you bid at those service? Contracts,
• 19:24
  Speaker 5: yes they.
• 19:24
Speaker 6: Did they went out to a competitive, bid and career
• 19:27
Speaker 6: officials at the department chose who would do those advertising.
• 19:31
Speaker 5: Commercials and the people that you ended up picking were
• 19:39
Speaker 5: people who had formerly done your political work back in
• 19:43
Speaker 5: shop To. Cote is that?
• 19:44
Speaker 6: Right, no that's not, correct, Sir, no it's, not. Sir
• 19:48
Speaker 6: the individuals WHO i, believe the careers who they chose
• 19:53
Speaker 6: were two different media. Firms there's been conversation about their,
• 19:57
Speaker 6: subcontractors but we have no legal authority to look into
• 20:01
Speaker 6: subcontractors on work like.
• 20:03
Speaker 5: That, Okay and you're saying that you're testifying That President
• 20:08
Speaker 5: trump approved this ahead of, time Because i'm understanding.
• 20:13
Speaker 6: We had conversations about making sure that we were telling.
• 20:16
Speaker 5: People i'm asking you a short to, interrupt but The
• 20:21
Speaker 5: president approved ahead of. Time you spending two hundred and
• 20:25
Speaker 5: twenty million dollars RUNNING tv ads across the country in
• 20:30
Speaker 5: which you are featured, Prominently, sir.
• 20:32
Speaker 6: We went through the legal. Processes did it create the?
• 20:35
  Speaker 5: President? Yes he?
• 20:37
  Speaker 4: Did.
• 20:38
  Speaker 5: Yes.
• 20:39
Speaker 6: Okay one Thing SENATOR i think would be helpful to
• 20:43
Speaker 6: know is how effective that communications has been that got
• 20:47
  Speaker 6: overwhelming active.
• 20:48
Speaker 5: In your name. RECOGNITION i, MEAN i, personally JUST i
• 20:55
Speaker 5: mean to, me it puts The president in a terribly
• 20:57
Speaker 5: awkward spot and that it AND i Just i'm not
• 21:02
Speaker 5: saying you're not telling the. Truth it's just hard for
• 21:04
Speaker 5: me to believe you on The president AS i do
• 21:08
Speaker 5: that you, said Mister, president here's some Ads i've cut
• 21:12
Speaker 5: And i'm going to spend two hundred and twenty million
• 21:15
Speaker 5: dollars running them that he would have agreed. To THAT
• 21:19
  Speaker 5: i don't Think russ vote AT o AND b would
• 21:23
Speaker 5: have agreed to. That it's something that we have to.
• 21:26
Speaker 5: Defend i'm on The Appropriations. COMMITTEE i, mean my research
• 21:34
Speaker 5: shows that you did not bid them, out that, you
• 21:38
Speaker 5: in fact one of the people you picked The Strategy.
• 21:42
Speaker 5: Group i'm. Sorry Save America media was a company formed
• 21:47
Speaker 5: eleven days before you picked, them and that The Strategy
• 21:53
Speaker 5: group got most of the money and the head of
• 21:56
Speaker 5: that is to your former. Spokesperson i'm, look we all
• 22:04
Speaker 5: have friends who are. Qualified i'm not quippling with. That
• 22:07
Speaker 5: i'm just it troubles me quarter a fifth to a
• 22:12
Speaker 5: quarter of a billion dollars of taxpayer money when when
• 22:17
Speaker 5: we're scratching for every penny and we're fighting over recision.
• 22:21
Speaker 5: PACKAGES i just can't agree With Madam. Secretary are you
• 22:27
  Speaker 5: still running those?
• 22:28
  Speaker 3: Ads?
• 22:28
Speaker 6: SENATOR i did not have anything to do with picking those.
• 22:32
Speaker 6: CONTRACTORS i know politicals at The department Of Homeland security
• 22:36
Speaker 6: understand as followed the competitive bid process for. EVERYTHING i
• 22:42
Speaker 6: think the ads are due to end here In. MARCH
• 22:44
Speaker 6: i think within a. Week i'm not sure the one
• 22:48
Speaker 6: that is running is focusing on angel. Families have you
• 22:50
Speaker 6: seen that it is the one that's talking about this
• 22:52
Speaker 6: is our, why this is why we work every. Day
• 22:55
Speaker 6: it's for The angel families and they're victims.
• 22:59
Speaker 2: Center it was it was not not a good showing
• 23:02
Speaker 2: there for for. Her and you, know you're colleague There
• 23:06
Speaker 2: Senter kennedy asking. QUESTIONS i think a lot Of americans care.
• 23:09
Speaker 2: About The president's also come out saying she did not
• 23:11
Speaker 2: run this by him in the in the in the
• 23:13
Speaker 2: amount of money being spent, either that that also didn't
• 23:16
Speaker 2: work well for her.
• 23:17
Speaker 3: Either, well and and that that's something that that That
• 23:24
Speaker 3: John kennedy pointed. Out he said in the. Aftermath. Uh
• 23:29
Speaker 3: he said That President trump was quote mad as a murder,
• 23:34
Speaker 3: hornet That nome claimed he approved the two hundred million
• 23:38
Speaker 3: DOLLAR ads. Contract uh and and and, Listen john is
• 23:42
Speaker 3: a good friend of. MINE i talked to him today
• 23:46
Speaker 3: on The senate. Floor AND i just the number of
• 23:49
Speaker 3: nominees that his cross examinations have taken, out it is quite.
• 23:53
Speaker 3: Remarkable AND i think it Was John kennedy's cross examination
• 23:58
Speaker 3: that that that was pivotal in the decision to shift From. Christy.
• 24:03
Speaker 3: LOOK i LIKE christi. PERSONALLY i had dinner with with
• 24:06
Speaker 3: with her just a few weeks, ago AND i do
• 24:10
Speaker 3: think the results of The apartment Of Homeland security in
• 24:12
Speaker 3: terms of security in the border have been very. Effective
• 24:15
Speaker 3: uh and and so that that is. BENEFICIAL i Think
• 24:20
Speaker 3: John kennedy's line of questioning here was fair and and
• 24:24
Speaker 3: and it was it was incredibly. EFFECTIVE i also, think
• 24:30
Speaker 3: and we've talked about this on the podcast, before that
• 24:34
Speaker 3: the messaging from the, administration particularly following the shooting of
• 24:39
Speaker 3: two Different americans In, MINNEAPOLIS, uh that the messaging was
• 24:44
Speaker 3: was wrong and and it did real. Damage uh that
• 24:48
Speaker 3: that that THAT i think that the messaging Was, look
• 24:52
Speaker 3: anytime An american citizen is killed in a confrontation with law,
• 24:56
Speaker 3: enforcement it's a. Tragedy and and we should see our
• 25:00
Speaker 3: officials acknowledging it's a. Tragedy we should see our officials, saying,
• 25:04
Speaker 3: listen if there's an officer involved, shooting there's going to
• 25:07
Speaker 3: be an investigation where he'd examine what hammet happened and
• 25:10
Speaker 3: determine what exactly caused. It and, instead the rhetoric immediately.
• 25:17
  Speaker 1: Leaped to.
• 25:19
Speaker 3: Really aggressive, rhetoric calling both of the individuals using language
• 25:25
Speaker 3: like terrorists and seeking mass. Murder and that was hard
• 25:30
Speaker 3: to square with the facts of what. OCCURRED i think
• 25:35
Speaker 3: that rhetoric did damage to the, administration AND i think
• 25:39
Speaker 3: it was one of the things that contributed to the
• 25:41
Speaker 3: decision of The president to shift From Christy domes as
• 25:47
Speaker 3: the leader Of Homeland. Security Mark Waynemullen Mark, Wayne i've
• 25:52
Speaker 3: served with him in The. Senate he's a good. Guy
• 25:57
Speaker 3: he's someone The president. TRUSTS i think he will be.
• 26:00
Speaker 3: CONFIRMED i think it will be a party line vote
• 26:02
Speaker 3: in The. Senate we may Get John, fetterman BUT i
• 26:07
Speaker 3: would be surprised if any Other democrat votes for. Him
• 26:09
Speaker 3: so my prediction is the vote On Mark waynemullen will
• 26:13
Speaker 3: be fifty four to forty. Six that forty Six democrats
• 26:17
Speaker 3: will vote. Now AND i Think Mark wayne look that
• 26:21
Speaker 3: there there are advantages to being an experienced elected. Official
• 26:25
  Speaker 3: he was A house, member he's been A. Senator i'm
• 26:28
Speaker 3: hopeful that he will bring a level of professionalism and.
• 26:31
Speaker 3: Effectiveness the results of dhs have been quite, strong BUT
• 26:38
Speaker 3: i do THINK i do think that the testimony That
• 26:42
Speaker 3: Secretary nome gave it was not an easy day for,
• 26:47
Speaker 3: her AND i Think John Kennedy Tom tillis also led
• 26:49
Speaker 3: into her really. Hard BUT i think The kennedy cross
• 26:53
Speaker 3: examination was more, significant there's been quite a bit of
• 26:57
Speaker 3: reporting that The president was unhappy that she said that
• 27:01
Speaker 3: he knew about the ads she had, run and and
• 27:04
Speaker 3: AND i don't have independent knowledge of, that but BUT
• 27:07
Speaker 3: i don't have reason to doubt that. Reporting, yeah and so,
• 27:12
Speaker 3: look we need to secure our. Border we've had an
• 27:16
Speaker 3: incredible success rate doing so so, far And i'm hopeful
• 27:18
Speaker 3: that Bark Wade mullen coming, in we'll continue with that
• 27:21
Speaker 3: success and continue to keep our family.
• 27:23
Speaker 2: Safe it was election day On tuesday In. America it
• 27:28
Speaker 2: was a very big election day In. Texas. Uh there
• 27:31
Speaker 2: was certainly some upsets on The house. Side there was
• 27:33
Speaker 2: a lot of people around the country Watching Dan crinshaw's.
• 27:36
Speaker 2: Race he lost that race to someone that you. Endorsed
• 27:39
Speaker 2: that was a big. One that WAS i was on
• 27:42
Speaker 2: NATIONAL tv talking about over and over. Again and then
• 27:44
Speaker 2: there's obviously The senate race that's happening as. Well that's
• 27:47
Speaker 2: now gone into a runoff between two people that you know,
• 27:51
Speaker 2: well you're colleague in The senate and Also Ken, Paxson
• 27:55
Speaker 2: so we're gonna have to wait and see how that
• 27:56
Speaker 2: plays out as. Well but then there's also The Day
• 28:00
Speaker 2: democrat running against whoever wins that. Runoff and this is
• 28:04
Speaker 2: a guy That democrats are really excited. About he's, talented he's,
• 28:08
Speaker 2: radical he's, extreme but he comes across like a very
• 28:12
Speaker 2: moderate guy if you listen to him.
• 28:14
Speaker 3: Today, well we had primary day In texas this week
• 28:18
Speaker 3: and it was highly. Consequential Number, one there were a
• 28:20
Speaker 3: number Of house candidates WHO i endorsed who. Prevailed we
• 28:26
Speaker 3: had One Jessica, steinman who was my former regional director In.
• 28:30
Speaker 3: Houston she won decisively The republican. Primary she is going to,
• 28:35
Speaker 3: be in all, likelihood the Next republican congress member From.
• 28:39
Speaker 3: Houston we had Another Chris gober who's been my lawyer
• 28:43
Speaker 3: for ten. Years he won his primary. Decisively he's going
• 28:46
Speaker 3: to be a New republican congressman From Central. Texas we
• 28:50
Speaker 3: had Another John, bonk WHO i, endorsed who is a close.
• 28:55
Speaker 3: Friend he is the son in law of one of
• 28:58
Speaker 3: my closest friends in the, world who was who's been
• 29:01
Speaker 3: my national finance chairman for.
• 29:03
Speaker 2: Years but by the, way that was a fun. Night
• 29:05
Speaker 2: just just let's take a moment to talk about how
• 29:08
Speaker 2: fun that. Was so you were obviously in D. C
• 29:11
Speaker 2: BUT i went to the victory party And it's fun
• 29:13
Speaker 2: to see someone that you AND i know personally and
• 29:15
Speaker 2: a smile on your dear Friend willy's, face and Even
• 29:19
Speaker 2: heidi was there as well at your. Wife it was
• 29:21
Speaker 2: really a cool evening to see someone work hard and.
• 29:24
Speaker 2: WIN i know you had to have a really that
• 29:27
Speaker 2: had to feel personal to.
• 29:28
Speaker 3: You So, Willie Who's? Who's John bonk's father in law
• 29:32
Speaker 3: is one of my two or three closest friends on Planet.
• 29:35
  Speaker 3: Earth AND i love. Him He's he's a good. Man
• 29:38
  Speaker 3: he's a principled. Man he's a, conservative he's a godly.
• 29:41
Speaker 3: Man he's someone who FRANKLY i rely on for, advice
• 29:46
Speaker 3: for spiritual. Counseling we pray, together we talk, together and
• 29:50
Speaker 3: And John john is very likely to. Win he did
• 29:55
Speaker 3: not clear fifty, percent so unfortunately there's going to be a.
• 29:58
Speaker 3: Runoff BUT i think he's going to prove. VEIL i
• 30:00
Speaker 3: actually did a rally for him just a week. Ago
• 30:03
Speaker 3: in the middle of the, rally WHILE i had several
• 30:05
Speaker 3: hundred people there rallying for, HIM i got the chance
• 30:08
Speaker 3: to announce from the stage WHILE i was up there
• 30:11
Speaker 3: That President trump had endorsed. Him that was a very cool.
• 30:14
Speaker 3: Moment we knew it was likely to. COME i thought
• 30:17
Speaker 3: there was a chance That trump would call on the cell.
• 30:20
Speaker 3: Phone if he had, CALLED i would have put the
• 30:21
Speaker 3: cell phone up to the microphone and let him announce
• 30:23
Speaker 3: it to the whole. Crowd, INSTEAD i got to, announce
• 30:27
Speaker 3: and the crowd went. Nuts that was really gratifying to
• 30:30
Speaker 3: have three people who are two who are members of
• 30:35
Speaker 3: my team and have been, employees and another who's a
• 30:38
Speaker 3: very close. Friend to see three new likely members Of
• 30:41
Speaker 3: congress coming that that was a big. Deal we also
• 30:45
Speaker 3: Had Don haffein's WHO i endorsed for for comptroller in
• 30:48
Speaker 3: a statewide position In texas that won. Decisively that was
• 30:52
Speaker 3: a big. Victory and then you Noted Dan. Crenshaw, look
• 30:57
Speaker 3: in my fourteen years in The, SENATE i almost never
• 31:02
Speaker 3: endorse Against republican. Incumbents and there's a reason if you're
• 31:07
Speaker 3: serving in The, senate if you're working In, congress if
• 31:10
Speaker 3: you're endorsing against your, colleagues it makes it very hard
• 31:13
Speaker 3: to get anything done like that makes lifelong, enemies and
• 31:17
Speaker 3: so you just have to be really reluctant to do.
• 31:19
Speaker 3: SO i endorse in open, races BUT i almost never
• 31:23
Speaker 3: endorse in races Against republican. Incumbents i've made two exceptions
• 31:28
Speaker 3: in fourteen. Years the first Was Liz, cheney Because Liz
• 31:32
Speaker 3: cheney lost her mind and became a radical leftist who
• 31:35
Speaker 3: Hated President. Trump and SO i endorsed her, Opponent Harriet,
• 31:38
Speaker 3: hageman who beat her and is getting ready to be
• 31:41
Speaker 3: the New senator For wyoming. Now and THEN i did
• 31:44
Speaker 3: it again For Dan crenshaw for much the same, reason
• 31:47
Speaker 3: because he had really lost lost his, way he had
• 31:53
Speaker 3: gotten angry with his. Constituents there were multiple instances in
• 31:58
Speaker 3: which he. Yelled there's one instance where he yelled at
• 32:01
Speaker 3: a fourteen year old, girl and and just got angry
• 32:05
Speaker 3: in this race that there's a very good friend of
• 32:08
Speaker 3: mine who's been a longtime supporter and close, friend who
• 32:12
Speaker 3: was Supporting dan's, opponent and And dan decided to just
• 32:18
Speaker 3: light him. Up this is a, banker a private citizen
• 32:21
Speaker 3: in in In, texas and And dan decided to go
• 32:24
Speaker 3: after him. Personally AND i got to, say that pissed me.
• 32:27
Speaker 3: Off he's a close friend of, mine and and AND
• 32:30
Speaker 3: i didn't Like dan just just attacking him, directly and
• 32:35
Speaker 3: and SO i endorsed his, Opponent Steve. Toast Steve toath
• 32:39
Speaker 3: has been a state legislator for a number of. Years
• 32:40
Speaker 3: he's a very strong conservative and and it ended up
• 32:45
Speaker 3: that that That Steve toath won and one decisively won
• 32:48
Speaker 3: by a big, Margin and that was a little bit
• 32:50
Speaker 3: of a cannon, shot you, KNOW i will. Say dan, also,
• 32:58
Speaker 3: oh a couple of months, ago we were on a
• 33:00
Speaker 3: plane landing IN dc and in the jetway walking, Off
• 33:05
Speaker 3: dan began screaming and cursing at, me and it was
• 33:09
Speaker 3: really a little. Unhinged and he was, like why are
• 33:11
Speaker 3: you coming after? Me AND i was, like, Well i'm.
• 33:14
Speaker 3: Not and he was mad that supporters of mine were
• 33:21
Speaker 3: supporting his, opponents and, LOOK i don't control what my supporters.
• 33:26
Speaker 3: Do they're you, know individuals who have free. Choice but
• 33:30
Speaker 3: he was literally screaming and cursing at. Me AND i
• 33:33
Speaker 3: told him at the, TIME i, Said, dan IF i
• 33:37
Speaker 3: come after, YOU i promise.
• 33:39
  Speaker 1: You you'll not.
• 33:42
Speaker 3: Like it will not be, subtle it will not be.
• 33:44
Speaker 3: Hidden you will have full awareness of. It BUT i
• 33:49
Speaker 3: told him, AFTERWARDS i, said, listen in fourteen years in The,
• 33:53
Speaker 3: senate you were the only house member who's ever screamed
• 33:56
Speaker 3: and cursed at me on an. Airplane and that includes
• 33:58
Speaker 3: all The democrats, like and so it just it, pushed
• 34:01
Speaker 3: it pushed me beyond the. Edge and the voters Of
• 34:04
Speaker 3: texas decided that that he was not reflecting their conservative,
• 34:07
Speaker 3: values and so they've Elected Steve toathe will be a
• 34:10
Speaker 3: great member Of. Congress he'll be a strong. Conservative now
• 34:14
Speaker 3: we've got The senate. Race The senate, race there is
• 34:17
Speaker 3: a runoff Between John, cornyn my colleague right, now And Ken,
• 34:21
Speaker 3: paxton The Attorney. General both of THEM i know very.
• 34:24
Speaker 3: Well both of them are friends of. Mine both of
• 34:26
Speaker 3: Them i've worked together closely with for. Years i've endorsed
• 34:30
Speaker 3: both of them in the, Past i've campaigned with both
• 34:32
Speaker 3: of them in the. Past AND i got to say
• 34:34
Speaker 3: that this primary is better and. Nasty, look it is
• 34:38
Speaker 3: to date the most expensive primary In american. History And
• 34:44
Speaker 3: john And ken really dislike each, other and so it
• 34:47
Speaker 3: is going to be. Brutal it is going to be.
• 34:49
Speaker 3: UGLY i don't know how it's going to. Resolve The
• 34:53
Speaker 3: President trump tweeted out this week that he is going
• 34:56
Speaker 3: to make an. Endorsement he is not, Yet so we'll
• 34:58
Speaker 3: see what The president decides to do on. This BUT
• 35:01
Speaker 3: i will say at the same, time The democrats nominated
• 35:04
Speaker 3: a guy Named James talrico's a state. Rep and this
• 35:07
Speaker 3: guy is. Dangerous he's an ordained, Minister he's a, radical
• 35:11
Speaker 3: he's a hardcore, leftist and will in subsequent podcast breakdown
• 35:16
Speaker 3: just how radical and extreme his record. Is but what
• 35:19
Speaker 3: makes him dangerous is he sounds. Reasonable he masks he
• 35:24
Speaker 3: masks his radicalism in reasonable, sounding soft. Language he masks
• 35:31
Speaker 3: it in the language of a. Pastor it's incredibly deceptive and,
• 35:35
Speaker 3: dishonest but that makes it. Dangerous and so we'll got
• 35:38
Speaker 3: a real fight In, texas AND i don't know what
• 35:40
Speaker 3: the result to, be and.
• 35:41
Speaker 1: We're going to cover it.
• 35:42
Speaker 2: ALL i can promise you that don't free it down
• 35:43
Speaker 2: With verdic With Ted cruz wherever you get your podcasts
• 35:46
Speaker 2: in the. CENTER i will see you back here on
• 35:47
Speaker 2: this radio station next week as.
• 35:49
  Speaker 1: Well
