- 7:21[SPEAKER_10]: uh... your manager to report the live shot did a nice job good for you and i'd love one of those channel seven toook say that he was wearing on a cold day yeah uh... look really nice uh... what else is going on well that fire was big enough and it this story is kind of interesting uh...
- 7:54[SPEAKER_11]: Hmm.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I'll just send her something back.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_10]: I-I don't know.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_10]: Anyway, um...
- 8:09[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not giving anybody any of these campaigns, so I just...
- 8:12[SPEAKER_10]: It's not in the budget this year.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_10]: Not in the budget?
- 8:15[SPEAKER_10]: Not in the budget, right?
- 8:15[SPEAKER_10]: I gotta give it any.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, the whole course she's trying to...
- 8:18[SPEAKER_10]: shake me down now, I'm not going to give her any more, and, um, as far as the other one well, I got to, I put a sign up that's enough.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_10]: That's enough.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_10]: Um, seven, five, five.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_10]: I was reading some of these stories about the group in a choreo race and we'll get to this waterchound thing.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_10]: and the new sienna poll which shows still shows hockled up by quite a bit twenty points a lot of the headlines around the state of our favorite boldest staphonic saying she's staphonic skating you can gain that much in a sienna poll but there's other polls that have her tied or maybe slightly ahead so uh... i don't know i think the race has to settle in i think the other shoot a drop is mom dot me
- 8:59[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, increasingly, he scored a bit of a coup today, so did the new mayor of New York.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_10]: Jessica Tisch to stay on his police commissioner.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_41]: Yeah.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_10]: Now, she runs the police department, gets good marks for it, cleaned up some corruption issues.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_10]: May have some conflict with Momsdami originally over police oversight or riker's island, but for now, it's Kumbaya.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_10]: And I guess that's good for New York.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_10]: It'll reassures some people.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, Commissioner Tish.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_10]: You know, it's a funny thing about it when there's like a big event.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, she shows up and talks to the press.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_10]: It's kind of a novel concept.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, this is story.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_10]: Chattel 7 has this story, the North country's window on the world, the finest.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_10]: Watertown City Council members Ben shown Robert Kimball and Sarah Pierce have filed an ethics complaint against council members Lisa Regiro and Cliff Olney.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_10]: They're headed out the door.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_10]: What's this all about?
- 10:00[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, I got there.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_10]: She's boy.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_10]: The November 18 complaint written to Steve Jennings chair of the Ethics Board and County Health Commissioner Superintendent, whatever he is, a director of public health.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_10]: Says that during a free-to-read formation request, a city attorney saw concerning correspondences involving Wajera and only.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_11]: Hmm.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_10]: It's about Kristen Smith as her name.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_10]: these correspondences are e-mails and they can plant less six claims as to why shown canble and pears.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_10]: So the three of them were told to file this complaint by this attorney who's leaving, supposed to be leaving anyway, let's see, somebody texted him what's this about, hopeful shaking me down.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_10]: I heard directly, but
- 10:59[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, maybe I'll start to go fun to be page.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_10]: So anyway, the complaint claims emails with confidential legal advice related to litigation were forwarded for local developers.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_10]: Well, you know, I'm on that circulation list for a lot of that stuff.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_10]: Am I going to get in trouble?
- 11:21[SPEAKER_10]: They got too many.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_10]: Let me say this.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_10]: and confidentiality and all of that.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_10]: There is a time for it.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_10]: And it's sometimes not an easy line to draw.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_10]: But these people, I've just watched it over since I get out of the hospital.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_10]: He amount of email traffic, council members, back to the attorney in this way in that way, and asking opinions on this.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_10]: It's crazy.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think I saw that much of that when I was mayor.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_10]: yes uh... yet if you had a question of i think of a slide was corporation council asked a question at the meeting or maybe before the meeting a grab more after you know grab a meeting address him yeah uh... very seldom column i mean once in a while maybe
- 12:15[SPEAKER_10]: usually it's seen in the course of, but the amount and then everything's confidentiality and somebody's mad because somebody, quote, leaked it, now they got more ethics complaints and this is more billable hours and trust me.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_10]: Trust me.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_10]: I know all about billable hours and the firm that's doing them.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_10]: So here we are at Thanksgiving.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_10]: Regero and Olden are under way out the door.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_10]: They get three more meat, two or three meetings left.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_10]: And I know it's a chore to have to listen to Mr. Olden.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_10]: You know what these meetings?
- 12:51[SPEAKER_10]: And I know it's frustrating for the doc and the manager and all that.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_10]: But it's almost a why do this now?
- 13:01[SPEAKER_10]: And what are they talking about?
- 13:03[SPEAKER_10]: And then they'll say it's confidential.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_10]: And then they'll say we won't release the emails you're talking about.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_10]: Meanwhile, they smear these two people again.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_10]: more ethics complaints against regiro and only come out and say what they are folks there's a microphone there is another one there bring your attorney with you yeah i don't know why i pointed the microphone so nobody can see me do it but i just i'm reading this channel seven star am i saying what in god's name are they doing and how much is this costing
- 13:43[SPEAKER_10]: Unfortunately, you know, I wish I could, you know, if Ms. wasgera wants to come in, I'll talk to her, obviously.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_10]: I can't talk to the other guy, but certainly if the mayor wants to come in, if they want to bring council with them, they can.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_10]: I don't care.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not going to agree to questions at a time, but good after you do it, you're on the air.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, Jeff, that's pretty major news.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_20]: There was a new ethics complaint.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_10]: crazy actually this story just came out i just saw it on channel seven's website uh... and uh... i don't i'm hoping to hear more i i'll call john more later see what he knows what was that brought up monday night i listen to most of the meeting i didn't hear anything about it uh... yeah i don't remember that
- 14:42[SPEAKER_10]: For some of this stuff, it's put up or shut up, I mean, yeah, I mean, I know how much that firm can bill ya with dubious results and it just, what are they talking about?
- 14:56[SPEAKER_10]: What, I mean, and then no comment on anything.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_21]: What you said, some emails that were set that were, well, I was a back door information, I don't know.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know why.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_10]: Most of this stuff that they claim is big secret.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_21]: I look at it.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_10]: It's a subguide up.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_21]: I have a question to one of the council members, especially if you do a business.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_21]: You know, why not have a correspondence?
- 15:24[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_10]: Well, you know, because it's because it's, well, first of all,
- 15:31[SPEAKER_10]: You've got to be cognizant of the money.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_10]: You can't just sit there and constantly send emails that they like to call their Christian or Smith, I'll call them as Smith, because I'm more respectful that it's costing money.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_10]: You can ask questions at the council meeting, 90% of the time it might be an occasion.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not saying there's never an occasion for anything.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_10]: But.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_10]: I've just noticed that in recent years they amount of email the email traffic in the amount that's quote leaked or not leaked or I can't give it to you whatever is just astounding astounding.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_10]: I would only echo the words of the former president Joe Biden come on man you know this has got to stop can't we just get to the end of the year?
- 16:19[SPEAKER_10]: Now we got to have this ethics board has to meet they will issue a perfunctory finding because it's I've seen that before with agencies where you know what the end result is before you go before them.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_10]: So they're going to get a declaration of probable cause or whatever they're going to get out of the board of ethics and what do they do then?
- 16:39[SPEAKER_10]: Are they going to sue them or what what's their goal?
- 16:44[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe I'm missing the point, but putting on a press release, and I don't know why Ben shown put his name on this.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_10]: God, no, shopping carts, man.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_10]: We got a shopping cart dilemma in this town, you know, doing more of this stuff.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_10]: Go round up the cart.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, to see, I got a picture in the water town times a picture I took of a shopping cart without front of my place.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_10]: It wasn't my driver, I moved it out.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_10]: out of the media in there then i'm off the deal i didn't move i had somebody else move it so i didn't have prints on it but uh... uh... yeah i just don't know what's going on i don't know now everybody's lawyer up i don't wish i was got a lawyer i don't know i think holding ran through what money he had and doesn't put uh... yeah somebody said
- 17:42[SPEAKER_10]: They texted me and the complaint was on news drunky then removed.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, I didn't see it on.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_10]: Was it on there?
- 17:50[SPEAKER_10]: Well, it's on the Channel 7 website.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_10]: That's all the window on the world.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_10]: And they say they're going to have more on it.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, there it is.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_10]: There's the letter sent to the Board of Ethics right there on news.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_10]: You see, didn't that great?
- 18:09[SPEAKER_10]: oops it's not loading here oh this document has been removed from scribe whatever that is scribe oh what is going on hey the wonder who they have on it over it yeah yeah
- 18:39[SPEAKER_10]: there's so many issues they could be I thought shown growing up a great point the other night about zoning laws and problems or that he was telling a story about how the wall green store used to be on eastern Boulevard in state when vacant for a while.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_10]: It's a nice building nice parking lot.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_10]: I guess some some credit union wanted to go in there and they're making them reduce the number of parking places and put trees in here and it's just a pain in the butt.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_10]: Now, it's commercial property you should be able to use it as such.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_10]: There needs, you know, that zoning code needs an animal is what it needs.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_10]: Pardon the comparison.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_10]: But, of course, they all voted for it.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_10]: But anyway, this ethics complaint is going into Channel 7 because the city attorney saw quote concerning correspondence.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_10]: And they say with local developers, well, we know who they are, yeah, I'm going to call that guy afterwards.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I don't know if he's out of bed this time of day, but I'm going to give him a call, see what's going on here.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, 755-1240 is a phone number, I got so many other things to talk about.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_10]: I see there's a new Jeep coming out of a takeoff on the Wrangler, a Recon, it's called, it's an all-low electric.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, and maybe when this lease runs out and it's probably like I'll get one of those.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_10]: I don't mean to sound like a greenie, but I kind of like electric ones.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_10]: I like plugging it in, you know, and I'd have to go to a gas station and all that.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_10]: So it's kind of nice.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_10]: I know it's not good for every application.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_10]: And that's a little bit woke.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_10]: I feel a little woke.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_10]: And you got to watch you.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_10]: It's easy to accelerate because there's no noise and they accelerate quickly.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_10]: So you got to be careful.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_10]: got to be careful.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_10]: This school district got a paracorn in the channel seven the window on the world got sued.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, means the superintendent Schmiegel there had to go see he called some legal.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_10]: I got a consult legal on this was no comment there.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_10]: This is these, uh, daycare people.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_10]: School district was trying to take him over and do them all in house with public employees.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_10]: You could union members.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_10]: And a lot of these independent daycare centers were mad.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know who filed the suit or the notice of claim or what it was.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_10]: Again, all you get is crickets from the school board.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_10]: I don't even know who's in charge of it.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_18]: Hey, Jeff, a couple of comments for you.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_18]: Number one, you should clean out down there as crickets in the council again because this is a bunch of nonsense.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_18]: more of them, but not some stuff that's not going to accomplish the hill of being involved in anything.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, I guess they're doing this to try to strengthen their hand that regerele only won't come back to run ever in their lifetime.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_18]: I suppose that's only logical explanation I would have.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_10]: No, I think regerele may run for mayor in two years.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_10]: I probably missed her all in a no.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_18]: Listen, you can't have clip on the show.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_18]: Well, I don't understand that.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_10]: Well, no, can't come on.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_10]: So that's that.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_18]: Oh, oh, weird.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I don't know.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_10]: We can't talk about it.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_10]: So let's leave it at that.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_18]: OK, here's another one for you.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_18]: I don't know if you're following this school board thing up there.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_18]: Basically, the school board told me people that was in the audience say, they're not going after any questions that they have.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_18]: because there's a law suit against the Board of Education area or the school district about the pre-K scenario.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_18]: So people want their maybe militants calling and explain clearly exactly what's taking place with that school board up there not answering any questions that they have also.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, this was ridiculous.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_18]: The school board don't have the answer.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_18]: The City Council don't have the answer.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_18]: Nobody has the answer of frickin' thing in this city.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_18]: This is why we're a joke around this place because you don't have no transparency in place you turned.
- 23:01[UNKNOWN]: That's my comment, budget day, thank you.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_10]: Hi, thank you.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_10]: And it's a good comment.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_10]: Here's the letter there, Joe.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_10]: I guess the mayor sent to chairman Jennings and members, as part of the recent freedom of information request, the city's legal council identified concerning correspondence involving councilman Clifford Olnien, Lisa Vajero.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_10]: These emails were brought to our attention on October 17, 2025, to avoid any appearance of political motivation, we waited until after the election before referring them
- 23:35[SPEAKER_10]: We have individually reviewed the enclosed, consulted with legal counsel, caching, caching, caching, and our concern that these materials represent a violation of the city's code of ethics.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_10]: Now that the election is concluded, we respectfully request the board review the enclosed materials, the corresponding includes, but it's not limited to the following.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_10]: forwarding confidential legal communications to the press.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_10]: Uh-oh.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm not the press.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not, but I guess my name was on some CC things.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_10]: Um, in addition to like Jeff Cole and other important people more important people really.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_10]: Um, and things requesting confidential legal opinions from council while blind curve and copies copying a local developer.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not aware of any of that.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_10]: Um, again, given the nature of these actions, we're concerned, but they make it constitute violations.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_10]: Therefore, we request the Board of Ethics Conductive Review, issue an advisory opinion, and report its findings to the City Council.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_10]: How are you going to conduct any kind of quote, review of this?
- 24:49[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, I can't about 20 years, I was married.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_10]: And once in a while, there'd be somebody who got been out of shape over something.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_10]: But nothing like what I've seen.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_10]: Nothing.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_10]: I've never seen this volume of email correspondence.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_10]: It's out of control.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, out of control.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_10]: So anyway, what kind of review they're going to do?
- 25:14[SPEAKER_10]: It's November 19th.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_10]: next week's a lost week.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_10]: It's Thanksgiving.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_10]: And then you've got the run-up to Christmas.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_10]: Well, they have it.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_10]: I've got to have a special Christmas day session of the Board of Ethics.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_10]: What are they going to do?
- 25:29[SPEAKER_10]: And then these two people are out of office anyway.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_10]: Hi.
- 25:37[UNKNOWN]: Hi.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_10]: God help us.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_10]: God help us.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_10]: Just, does this go, I don't know.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think this goes on at the county, does anyone else?
- 25:53[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, there's always little disputes.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_10]: Don't get me wrong.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_10]: And there should be.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_10]: People got to stand up for the rights.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_10]: And sometimes you need an opinion.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_10]: And all of that, but I don't know, right from allowing the troopers to take over a council meeting to stuff like this, I was thinking of what?
- 26:17[SPEAKER_10]: These people won't have any due process.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_10]: I'm, you know, I'm in one of these type of proceedings.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_10]: I, you don't get due process.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_10]: You don't, you know, the, the deck is stacked.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_10]: So you've got to, I, I just don't know.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, obviously, I like Steve Jennings.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_10]: I really do.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_10]: We used to have men here during COVID.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_10]: Great guy, I like him.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_10]: Personally, I like Steve Jennings.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_10]: But you know what he's going to do.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_10]: He's going to go along with what they want, given the positive declaration of whatever
- 26:47[SPEAKER_10]: Lock him up.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon, Ronier.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_24]: Hey, I got a new mayor.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_24]: I was talking to a 18-year-old young man this morning.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_24]: And he was telling me that he chose to back up.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_24]: And I didn't know for sure.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_24]: So this illegal age 18 for divided back with New Yorkers at 21.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_24]: You know, there's 21.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_24]: As well, how do you get to the back up?
- 27:10[SPEAKER_24]: He said some of those small shops who wanted out for a higher price and sell it to them.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_10]: Well, there you go, I don't surprise me, I mean, yeah, I mean, that's, um, like I saw that out there.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I mean, you know, you got to look at this way.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_10]: Let's say you smoke cigarettes.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_10]: I don't, I don't recommend you smoke cigarettes.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_10]: But, you know, if you have a choice between buying a for $7, $16, $17 a pack or $5 a pack on taxed, well of course you're going to buy the $5.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_10]: Why wouldn't you?
- 27:44[SPEAKER_10]: You know, it's like anything, any commodity and there's no real consequence.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_10]: You can have 98 glassy and envelopes of fentanyl in your left pocket if you could fit them all in there and you get a $250 bail.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_24]: I will stand behind a man a while ago in a dollar general, you paid almost $17 for back of marbles.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_24]: Down in Florida, a back of marbles is $5.33.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I know I sell and we sell them for 16 flat.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_10]: I don't really make just a few pennies on them, but it's a convenience for people.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_10]: But yeah, if you were, and look at the end, I mean, if you get a order of cigarettes delivered, you pretty much have to have an armed guard with the delivery man from Grace wholesale, because a little box and it's worth a lot ton of money, because these things are so expensive.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_10]: I don't really know.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_10]: I'd rather sell the five dollar packs and I'd probably charge seven under the table but I tried to do it the right way and there's no reward in New York for doing things the right way.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_10]: Trust me.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_24]: No, there sure is a beneficiary.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_24]: Well, you have a good day sir.

- 34:25[SPEAKER_10]: We've got only ordinances about science.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_10]: And we're worried about them being a truce of a offense to the body politics or something.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_10]: And that's up to that building is used to be the brass real restaurant that's been various iterations of nightclub after that.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_10]: But now it's been turned into all apartments.

- 34:56[SPEAKER_10]: So anyway, why not take the sign down?
- 34:59[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_10]: If I were king of the world, there'd be an ordinance that says, when a place goes out of business or leaves or whatever, you take the sign down.

- 41:38[SPEAKER_10]: You know, somebody.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_10]: I just got a couple of tax people about this day.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_10]: Since they were they the council members are on their way out the door at the end of December why are we ranking up more billable hours and legal fees.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_10]: What reminds me of a story back in the 80s John Moore and I were interviewing the police chief at City Hall and we're just setting up the cameras and he and he joins us you know people ask me why I go out with young girls and I tell him because I can.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_10]: Wow that's pretty brash.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_10]: And the same thing is true with these lawyers you know let's say people ask me why.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_10]: I charge as so many billable hours, answers, because I can't, because you get addicted to them, you think you can't function without them.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_10]: Now, they serve a purpose for certain types of matters in life, but a lot of times it's just a waste of money.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_10]: In the end, but you're kind of caught because you say, well, if I don't, I'll, yeah, good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, it's Samantha from Alexandria Bay.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_15]: I'm out in the ball.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_15]: I'm trying to get some pictures in water town.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_15]: Are your trees all covered like the white?
- 42:46[SPEAKER_10]: The white stuff?
- 42:47[SPEAKER_10]: No, the blue.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_10]: So I'm not on my way yet.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_10]: No, I didn't see anything.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, they're really pretty here.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, the ground is clear.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_15]: You know, but the trees are all coated like with those.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_10]: Well, it's 36 degrees here, but that doesn't mean it's the same elsewhere.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_10]: I would
- 43:08[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, that's why you got some ice there.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_15]: Well, it's probably it's pretty what's new I'm trying I'm trying to get a picture so I can send it into John Cuba Oh, yeah, John good guy.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_10]: Are you going on the meld Bustler root 66 tour?
- 43:27[SPEAKER_15]: We You know, I wanted to go on that one to Italy, but Where is root 66 again?
- 43:37[SPEAKER_10]: It's out west somewhere.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_10]: I think it goes through like Arizona and her Mexico and up through, I don't know, I think it goes quite a way.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_10]: He's like, I don't know if it.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_10]: I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to look it up on the computer here.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_10]: See where it is.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_15]: No, I heard I saw that advertised and I, I know when they were going to Italy, I would like to go.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_15]: But um.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_15]: A lot of people are taking a trip to Italy this year.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's 2448 miles.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_10]: It's probably a whole bunch of highways.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_10]: It's all over the place, but it goes from like Chicago down through Missouri, Oklahoma, Northern Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Arizona, into California.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_10]: That'd be a lot of fun.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know about the Chicago end of it, but the rest of it would be great.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_15]: I know.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_10]: I wonder, I guess you're probably going to bus, wouldn't you?
- 44:39[SPEAKER_15]: I just thought I was wondering, wondering across the country, I'll be across the country.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_15]: Wow.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I lived in Santa Rosa, California until I was like 13.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_10]: Wow.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_15]: From the time I was 5 to 12 or 13.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, well listen, I got another call here, but I... Good luck.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_15]: I wanted to ask you, did you mention asked Ashley furniture?
- 45:07[SPEAKER_10]: Yes.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_15]: I put them on.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, yeah.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_15]: I'm going to check that out.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_10]: It's very nice.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_10]: Go sit on all the sofas.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_10]: Are you ready to see you?
- 45:18[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_24]: Okay, bye.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_10]: Thanks, bye now.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_24]: Captain, you Jeff.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_24]: Hey, I would go on that route.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_24]: 66th trip.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_24]: Mel brought the Bossler's view.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I don't know about that, but uh... I-I'm sure it'd be a lot of fun.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_10]: I think Mel's a great guy and he'd be entertaining.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_10]: I don't-like I said, I don't know who else at Channel 7 I'd want to go on a trip with.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_24]: Well, what about you, set one up and everybody going to Greenland?
- 45:49[SPEAKER_10]: You know?
- 45:50[SPEAKER_24]: Yeah.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_10]: I don't-I don't know.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, I could probably set up something.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_10]: I don't really want- Nothing too strained yours, mind you.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I would think the station could sell a trip.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_20]: They got really buffed eggs.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_10]: Glent and I.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe Glent and I could take people on a trip somewhere.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_24]: We'll take a green list.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_24]: I'm along for the ride.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_10]: Sounds good.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_10]: We'll meet you in new career, whatever the name of the capital is.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_22]: So we'll meet in Boston.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_22]: That's where the ship leads from.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_10]: There you go.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_10]: Bye now.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_19]: Good afternoon, Mr. Mayor.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_19]: Yep.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_19]: I want to thank you, if you would come, can you just use the idea of sitting there?
- 46:34[SPEAKER_10]: Sure.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_19]: We don't mind.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_19]: You mentioned a woman.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_19]: I don't like to mention people by name, but she's already well known.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_19]: And you mentioned their own country, and this is a man.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_19]: You said that she just doesn't want to work.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_19]: She wants benefits, but she just doesn't want to work.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_19]: You know, that doesn't sound right.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_19]: There's a lot of things I don't want to do.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_19]: I don't want to live where it's so cold.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_19]: I've even liked to live in Hawaii when you will mention, but I can't.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_19]: Because I don't can't afford it.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_19]: So maybe Samantha would like to pay for my mansion in Hawaii?
- 47:22[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_19]: Because I want it.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_19]: Why should I pay for some of it?
- 47:29[SPEAKER_19]: and she's able to work and she doesn't want to.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_24]: What kind of business is that?
- 47:35[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I think she is at an age now where retirement is more of an idea, you know.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_10]: But yes, I agree that she didn't when she had opportunities, maybe she didn't, but there are a lot of issues.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_19]: Okay, well, the person there's other issues that make them unable to work, that's something
- 47:54[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's something I want to ask you because you would know about the I read on channel seven yesterday where the uh, synagogue on Thompson Boulevard is for sale for $375,000 because the whole idea of a temple there is a report.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody goes anymore.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_10]: That's sad.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_19]: Well uh, I don't attend the least things myself.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_19]: So I have no opinion
- 48:19[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, but I just thought, you know, it's a beautiful building and all of that, and I can remember going to events there and, you know, the big old breakfast or something was kind of a political thing you went to, but it's too bad.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_10]: And the same thing is true of churches.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_10]: We've got four gorgeous Catholic churches, and there's just a few old 80s go to most of those, and it's too bad.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_19]: Well, it's the same all over May or whatever denominations you want to discuss at the same
- 48:51[SPEAKER_10]: The only ones that are getting more plentiful, I ain't going crazy, said masks, maybe we should get a mask.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, I'm a mask, and the timing stems, I believe.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_10]: Well, it's like out in Dearborn, Michigan.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, you can hear the prayer chance and stuff.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_10]: Some people are complaining about it, but the mayor says shut up or we'll kick you out.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, well, that's not very American.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_19]: show up or we'll kick you out.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, the other issue I have with you, Mr. Mayor, I want to, I'll let me try and mean about this blockers for homeless people.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_19]: I have a thought that most of these homeless people are large percentage of them, anyway, are mentally disturbed and potentially violent.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_19]: Now, I think this is a good idea in terms of safety that the walk around with a shopping course and mind this stuff.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_19]: I don't mind if they have the cards and they shouldn't steal them, but whoever picked my point at this, I'm not, I should have not about stealing them in that, I mean, that's already done what's done.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_19]: But it gives them a place to park them.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_19]: I think uh... allows them to give them a free and uh... carry weapons no well i could be i mean i'd be it if the city picks up cards be nice to take them somewhere with it almost can just come get a cart for free and they won't have to steal another one yeah well that's uh... that's okay i mean if the city wants to provide him i'm back well then we come into the other
- 50:37[SPEAKER_10]: Well, like I was willing to donate a building down on me and avenue maybe to put the shopping carts in there.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_10]: You still have golf carts in there.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_10]: I understand.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_19]: Well, my point is this, I don't think that you should give me these people places to store their cars because that's that's a, uh, an able, them first of all, make them make them make them a lot easier to be homeless and seconds of all it's, uh, in gives them the opportunity to hold the wheel to the weapon.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_10]: That's right.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_10]: That's right.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, very good.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, listen.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, I had a call coming in.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_10]: I lost them, but you know, I appreciate your input.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_10]: Thanks a lot.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_19]: Okay, I'm a good day.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_10]: You too, by now.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_10]: Alrighty, 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_10]: What a variety of topics today.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_10]: But anyway, it's good.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_10]: I think a lot of people would like to go on at Route 66.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you, Mel.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_24]: Oh, no, much to listen to the show today, and I wanted to touch base, I'm now the shopping cart issue.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_11]: Mm-hmm.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_24]: Back when I used to live up by N.P.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_24]: And do you remember the old ANP?
- 51:48[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, yeah.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_24]: I've been Northland Plaza.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_10]: It's a great Atlantic.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_24]: Yeah, because they used to pay.
- 51:55[UNKNOWN]: They used to pay.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_24]: I think that I think the responsibility should still be how about the owner's owner of the cars.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_24]: Mm-hmm.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_24]: and find the rope shopping carts and bring them back.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_13]: Right.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_24]: Because they're obviously worth money.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_24]: They're obviously not worth money to the stores anymore.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_10]: Well, they are, I don't think the, I don't know where they all come from.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, obviously, the old days when people live at Cloverdale, they take their groceries home and the store would come and get the cards and bring them back.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_10]: That's an old-style courtesy.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_10]: It's, you know, just a really nice thing to offer your customers.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_10]: But, you know, if you're just going and taking it and wheeling it around town, and it is stuff, but what are you going to do?
- 52:37[SPEAKER_10]: They're going to do it anyway.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_10]: So, okay.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_24]: Yeah, I still think it's, I still think it's the response.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, if they're missing a car, if they're missing a car, so don't you think they should call up and say, hey, someone stole my car.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, come on, are we?
- 52:53[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, go ahead and use it for a little while, and it'll be the city.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_10]: I understand, I understand that some people call the police because somebody took a Snickers bar, but there's no way the police are going to track down it.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_24]: If you want to blame the whole list for everything, if you want to blame the downshodder for everything, you've got to look at the source,
- 53:14[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, all right, thank you sir.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_10]: I got a run.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_22]: Good afternoon around the air.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_22]: Oh, it's a real deal.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_22]: I have no idea.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_22]: Thank you.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon around the air.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_10]: Good.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_25]: What's up?
- 53:44[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know what they're up to and nobody will come nobody'll sit at the mic next to me to talk about it.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_10]: I don't blame him I guess I wouldn't either but still it just seems like so unnecessary at this point.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_25]: What is there a game?
- 54:02[SPEAKER_25]: Nothing.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_25]: I'm the city's end of bringing this to the attention of everyone, what more could
- 54:11[SPEAKER_10]: I'd like to see the two incoming council members.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_10]: You know, come in the studio and speak out against this.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_10]: They knocked this stuff off our goals and knocked this stuff off in a new year.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_10]: So I don't know.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_10]: I can't imagine.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_10]: I don't.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_10]: I know there's some personal animacities with a couple of council members towards only in Rosario, but I just don't understand why Ben's shown sign down to this.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_10]: I don't get it.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_10]: Well, it just doesn't make sense to me.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_25]: So anyway, any other any is there anything that's kind of other than people seeing what they did, which I think everyone is aware of what they have done.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_10]: Just another round of humiliation for the two.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, listen, I got a run, Steve.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_10]: Alrighty, bye now.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_10]: And we'll be back with more in a moment.
