- 0:51SPEAKER_02: So without further ado, I want to introduce you guys to Tia Maury, who is the founder of For You by Tia.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: Watching this show, Tia, I'm so excited to have it.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for having me.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: No, it's such an honor.
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: And I'm like I was, we were talking before the answer.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: I'm such a fan.
- 1:10SPEAKER_02: I'm literally a fan for life, and I can't wait to dive into everything that you've created and the wonderful, wonderful products that you've brought to us.
- 1:18SPEAKER_02: So that's kind of where I want to start.
- 1:21SPEAKER_02: I want to ask you how did the whole concept come to life?
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: If you could share the story of why you created for you.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: So I feel like like many others, I have been on my own journey of, you know, self-discovery, um, and just living with, you know, authenticity.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Um, and you know, just truly, truly with that, meaning embracing my natural hair.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: Um while on this journey, I was, you know, looking for products that fit my needs, um, or was, you know, something that I was extremely passionate about.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, um, you know, after talking to some family and some friends and just doing some research, I just didn't find anything that was, you know, suitable um, you know, for my hair.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Um, I started to see, well, first of all, wellness is really, really important to me.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Um, I've been very open about, you know, my diagnosis with something called endometriosis.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Um, and on that journey, um, I realized the importance of just ingredients in general, meaning what foods, you know, I'm eating, um, what foods I'm putting on my body, just being very conscious about it.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: And for those of you who don't know what endometriosis is, it's a highly inflammatory condition that can cause infertility.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Um, so I ended up seeing huge benefits once I became more conscious about, you know, the ingredients that I was consuming and just kind of putting on my body.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: So, with that said, I was too looking for something along those lines when it came to my hair care.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: Um, I started to see on the shelves um products that said all natural, but I quickly learned that all natural didn't necessarily really mean all natural.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Um you know, so I was like, okay, um I since there was this huge void um within this space, I was like, why don't I, you know, create something um I uh, you know, that's safe, that's clean.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure that I'm not the only one that is, you know, wanting something out there like this.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Um so that's basically, you know, how for you came about.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Um, I wanted to uh create something that is actually safe, that is actually clean, that is actually good for you, um, with ingredients that are extremely recognizable.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Um and you do see that with our with our hair care um line.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: We have sea moss, um, we have rosemary, um, we have flaxseed.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: These are all recognizable ingredients derived from nature.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Um and also the formulas that we have within this hair care line, it is backed by by science.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: So there's also true efficacy.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: Um so yeah, I I wanted to create a line that was safe for people and not only people, my children as well.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and that was, you know, here's the thing is I love that you you kind of started us off with that, the the science, but because I with hair care, and I've been talking to my colleagues about this, and I'm sure you've heard it too, um, Tio, you know, in normal conversation, is that we don't focus on hair care as much as we should.
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: You know, there is so much that happens to your body through your scalp, you know, just exactly like no one talks about that.
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: And I'm just like, why won't why aren't we, you know, discussing it?
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: So I love that you approached it from this new perspective of you know, what's the really yeah?
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 5:05SPEAKER_02: No, I want to I want to actually ask you about the products because they're absolutely phenomenal.
- 5:09SPEAKER_02: I personally don't have curly hair, but I have wavy hair and I have been loving them even for my wavy hair.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: You know, they work very well, they do exactly what I want them to do.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: So when you were designing your products, uh, what was your vision?
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: You know, what did you know that consumers needed and and how did you craft that?
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Yes, well, you know, my vision definitely was to um create a line that catered to, you know, the textured community, whether your hair is a, you know, a curl texture of 2A or 4C, right?
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: But more importantly, I wanted, you know, the community to basically have access to high performing ingredients or a high performing line, hair care line, that was in fact accessible.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: So this is a line that is not sacrificing the quality of you know um the product for you know the the price.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Um and it was very important for me to have this product be vegan, made without silicone and sulfates, um, making it good for you and also, you know, good for the planet.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: No, that that makes sense.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: I mean, honestly, I I think with with hair care in general, there's also this like, I feel like, well, when we were growing up, I feel like curly hair was never talked about first.
- 6:36SPEAKER_02: No, not at all.
- 6:39SPEAKER_02: Not at all.
- 6:40SPEAKER_02: Like it's as if now in the last like five years, we've you know, we've started this conversation.
- 6:46SPEAKER_02: But I I mean, as you know, someone who has had curly hair, I mean, I remember my friends talking about it, you know, finding new ways to take care of it, but this real white space was there, you know, and to then be able to fill it, I'm sure that was like, you know, kind of an uphill journey, you know, trying to figure out like where uh where the need is and how to fill that need.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: So that's why I asked you about that.
- 7:07SPEAKER_02: But I mean, I want to uh ask you about the inspiration for the different products because I know there's a lot of different products here made for nearly everybody, you know?
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: Yes, walk us through some of those.
- 7:17SPEAKER_02: That would be great.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: So the main reason why or what inspired um, I guess, you know, these different products within the line um is well, number one, I wanted to simplify just the whole um process.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: I I feel that within the curly hair community, I feel like a lot of maybe not even just in the curly hair community, but a lot of women or just people in general can understand, you know, how let's say overwhelming um having some sort of routine, you know, for your hair um can be.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: Meaning I have a household of three different curl textures, right?
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: So I have a different curl texture than my son, um, than my daughter.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: So what'll end up happening is we'll have like a hundred different products, you know, amongst all of us that doesn't necessarily even get used.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: Um, so I wanted to create, you know, a line with formulas um that worked on all different hair textures.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Um, and not only that, um, that blended well and worked together.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Um, meaning you can put all of these products together um and it mix mixes very well, meaning you can use the curl cream, right?
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: With the curl um definition gel, with the hair oil, that works well, or you can just do the curl cream and the um the curl gel and the um the curl refresher.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: So all of these different products work well together.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: All of these different products work well on different hair textures.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, and I really had, again, my children in mind when creating these products, and then also just women in general, you know what I mean?
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: Like I have, you know, my mother, I saw how she would um create concoctions when she was doing her hair.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, even my grandmother, um, you know, just kind of like being quote unquote in the kitchen, coming up with like, you know, different um ingredients, meaning mixing, you know, flaxseed with, you know, certain things to, you know, have some sort of um hair product that was like, you know, good for your hair.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: And again, I just wanted to just simplify all of that and you know, take the guessing um out of everything and just to make it easier for everyone.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, we all want to look good, we all want to feel confident, but at the same time, I wanted to simplify it and also um, you know, have it be like good for you, you know.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Absolutely, yeah.
- 10:06SPEAKER_02: And I think you've done just that.
- 10:08SPEAKER_02: You really have.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's a it's a gorgeous line.
- 10:11SPEAKER_02: And I, you know, I know there's a lot of science there, and that's one of my biggest questions for you.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: I am a total science geek to you, so I have to ask you.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: You know, I know there's some biotech that went into this, and um, you have the Hemi 15 um ingredient in there to tell us a little bit about that.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: What is Hemi 15?
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: Um, so is Karima on the line with me?
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I believe so.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: I am on yes.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: So, Karima, do you want to take that?
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm happy to.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: Um I'm Karima McDaniel.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: I'm um the president of For You.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: And this has been such a journey of building this high-performance hair care line.
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: And to your point, it is all backed by science.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: And so one of the core tenants of this brand is this ingredient called HEMI 15.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: And essentially, it is a sustainably created, patented, award-winning silicone alternative that's developed from sugarcane.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: And the great thing about it is, you know, for curly-haired girls, you're always sort of in that search for moisture.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: Um silicones, which are commonly used throughout the industry, they can often, you know, coat hair and help with texture, but they can often block moisture absorption.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: And so, what we've been able to do with Hemi 15 is provide some of those benefits you get from silicone, but in a way that's not going to prevent your hair from absorbing that moisture.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: And so you get frizz control, improved manageability, um, improved curl health.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: Um, and that powered with the other ingredients that Tia mentioned, creates this really powerful formula that is clean and efficacious.
- 11:47SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much, Karima.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, that sounds amazing.
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: That sounds amazing.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:53SPEAKER_02: I mean, it works, it shows though.
- 11:55SPEAKER_02: The product's actually really reflected.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: Like one of my favorites, yeah.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, it's the uh the redefining mist, like the uh the I love that product.
- 12:05SPEAKER_02: It's phenomenal.
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: Like I like I said, I have wavy hair, so when I spray it on, it's like I have beach waves again.
- 12:11SPEAKER_02: Like it's I love that.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: I'm so happy.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I go ahead, sorry.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say one one thing that I think is really nice for this line is we test all the products across curl types.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: So whether you have wavy hair or curly hair, we're clinically testing it to make sure that it performs um and make sure that you get it's a product that you can trust.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: I love that, and I think that's so needed in our market.
- 12:35SPEAKER_02: Like, I I feel like this industry, like we've like, I don't know.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: I mean, maybe people disagree with me, but the way I see it, I feel like there've been serious lines, you know.
- 12:43SPEAKER_02: Like when I go to the store, it's like you don't buy products that are meant for the exact hair that you have, right?
- 12:49SPEAKER_02: I think I was on I was talking to one of my colleagues one day, and we I was like, well, I have like half my hair is wavy and the other half is like straight, and then sometimes I have random curls.
- 12:57SPEAKER_02: So I don't know what my hair type is, you know.
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: So I love that you guys thought about that.
- 13:02SPEAKER_02: That's huge.
- 13:03SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I want to ask you, Tia, because I know that being an entrepreneur is tough.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: Yes, you know, it's tough.
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: And I would love to get your like the kind of the story of, you know, when you were creating for you and the entrepreneurship journey that you went on with the brand.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, if you could share some of the you know backstory.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, I've I've realized that I've always wanted to be an entrepreneur ever since I knew what the word meant.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Um, and I first heard about the word when I was in high school, and I didn't even really know how to pronounce it.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: Um, but when I look at entrepreneurs, I feel like, you know, they are very community-based, meaning they're all about, you know, building, supporting a community, building a brand, you know, towards that community, being a leader when it comes to that community.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: And I just feel like that's just something that I naturally am really, you know, um, I'm really passionate about.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: Um kind of what, you know, it it gives me purpose and drive, but I've also been, you know, the type of person, well, I've been in this industry, you know what I mean, for a very, very long time.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: Um, and I've really fallen in love with my audience and my community.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: And I'm always asking questions and you know, wanting to know um what is it that they want from me.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: So anyway, with that said, I've always been an endorser, meaning I've always been someone that has worked with brands, but not necessarily have had my own brand.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: So once I started to work with brands um for years um and really understand marketing and understand, you know, um mission statements, um and just everything that that comes with um being an entrepreneur, I was like, this is what I want to do.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: And so I said, let me, you know, be the leader in that.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: And instead of just endorsing, you know, brands, why don't I like start to really listen to my community, see what they want, see what the the void is, um, you know, what the white space is within, you know, um, I guess, you know, the marketing world or or the world of entrepreneurship.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: And let's have some fun, let's change the world, um, let's make an impact.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm not the type of person or the entrepreneur that's just all about just putting my name on a brand.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: Um, I am very, very involved and I will only do things that I am extremely passionate about.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: Um, and you know, it just feels very purposeful for me.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: Um, I think also what's really cool to note that with this brand for you, I am part owner um as well, which was really, really important to me because I'm all about encouraging and inspiring and influencing people.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Um, so I wanted to encourage people out there that wow, you know, if if T get Tia can do it, I know that I can too.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, I love that.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that is like I thank you.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: It's rare to hear, you know, from like someone with like your influence and you know, just your career, like it's it's rare to hear, you know, the entrepreneurship journey.
- 16:18SPEAKER_02: And that's why I asked you because you know, I feel like there's this, there's a whole world that happens, you know, when you launch your brand.
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: And like, you know, different founders have different stories, but you know, some of the hurdles we don't hear about either, right?
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: So I'm sure there were some for you as well.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: If you could tell us, you know, what were some things that might have taken you back, you know, like while you were on this journey that maybe you weren't expecting, um, anything like that.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: I mean, I mean, Karima, you can also speak to this as well.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: Um, nothing ever goes as planned.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: Um when you're an entrepreneur, it's it's all about learning how to pivot, how to adjust, um, how to switch it up.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Um there's always, you know, deadlines that you have to make that you don't necessarily make.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Um and I think that is one thing that I mean, I've I guess what I'm saying is I I don't want to toot my own horn, but I feel like I've been born to do stuff like this because being in this industry, it's kind of like the same thing.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: Like things are always coming up and and happening that you wouldn't necessarily um expect.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: It's it's it's the same thing as an actor, you know what I mean?
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: When you're on set and you're working on a show and then all of a sudden a line isn't working, it's not funny, and then the writers are on the side writing stuff out, and you have to, you know, to memorize it right away.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: So anyway, um it's it's almost like, yeah, it's like I I thrive off of a challenge.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: Um, and not to say that, like I said, challenges do come.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: It's it's just a part of the beast, it's a part of you know being an entrepreneur.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, so I think that is, you know, the one thing that of course I've I've learned.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: And then also just having patience, you know what I mean?
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: Um, there are some brands that take off relatively quickly, meaning night and day, um, a brand can take off.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: But then also it's it's important to understand that, you know, um brands also take a lot of time to, you know, take off.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: Um, and that is okay too.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Um, preferably, I like it that way.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: So you can try to get at least all of your ducks in a row.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: So once it does, you know, take off, you're you know, extremely prepared.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, I would have to say like some, some, I would say those are kind of some of the hurdles of the challenges that I've um uh have experienced about being an entrepreneur.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: And then just believing in yourself, you know, you have to believe in yourself and believe in your brand.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: I think I would add to that is I think having having and finding the right partners and being really clear in the vision.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: And I think what's been really nice about Tia's approach to this brand is it's such a clear vision, and like everyone who surrounds it is so single-minded and bringing it to life.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: And so you have, you know, a group of people that are so passionate about driving this forward and bringing that to life.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: And I think having that clear vision really sets up a brand to, you know, really know its North Star, even when the environments are constantly changing and you're probably gonna go.
- 19:31SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: And you know what?
- 19:33SPEAKER_02: That comes across though.
- 19:34SPEAKER_02: It comes across like the brand speaks for itself.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: No, I mean it.
- 19:38SPEAKER_02: I mean it's really like a like I feel like I've you know, just through this podcast, you know, discovered so many brands, but it's like when something really speaks to you, it speaks to you, you know, the brand will do what it's supposed to do, and that is where you get that community that builds, you know.
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: Like I remember like when I literally when I first tried the line, I was like, oh my gosh, like this is magical.
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: Like I love it, you know, she really did it.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: And and I'm just I I think that that is where um, you know, as an entrepreneur, I'm sure that's like really tough, you know what I mean, to get that final rendition down where you're like, okay, this is it, we're putting it out, you know, to the market.
- 20:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I mean you've done it so beautifully, Tia, and your whole team.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: I am such a fan of it.
- 20:21SPEAKER_02: And I'm you know, for you guys haven't tried it, like you can literally pick up any of the products, like any single one, and it will do what it's saying.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: Like it will be like that's and that's my goal.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: That was our goal.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: That and I say that, you know, that I am so in love with my own products, um mainly because they do what they say that they're going to do.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Meaning, you know, when you, you know, one of my favorite uh brands or products from the brand is the clarifying shampoo.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: Like the goal was to give you a nice, you know, cleanse, but without stripping your hair, but still having enough moisture in there.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: And we like freaking nailed it.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Um and I'm just so and and again, I'm not just this isn't just me speaking.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: I mean, Karima, you could speak towards, you know, all of the awards that you know we've won with the brand in such a short period of time.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: Like I feel like we've really, really um, you know, nailed it with with this line.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: Um, and I'm very proud of it.
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, it it is, and it's a beautiful, beautiful line.
- 21:31SPEAKER_02: And I know the product you're talking about, T I I've used it and I love it.
- 21:35SPEAKER_02: So I know.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:37SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry, Kareem, I think I interrupted you though.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: I just I echo her.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: Like, I think it's just it's been so nice hearing all the feedback.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: And you know, we've only been, we're pretty young brand, like we've only launched earlier this year, and we've gotten eight product awards, and we keep hearing such positive feedback on one on performance, on everything from performance to scent to bottles.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: It's just it's been so nice to have such a Positive reception.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: And I think our goal is to continue to deliver those really breakthrough products that are going to really change people's lives and how they relate to their hair.
- 22:09SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: And that is so well deserved.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: Like I really wish that, you know, there was this, like basically your line growing up, because I knew had so many friends, like I said, you know, to uh when we were growing up, you know, I think we're very similar in age.
- 22:23SPEAKER_02: And I remember my friends would always be like, I don't know what to use on my hair.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: And I wish to go back in time, you know what I mean?
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: And give them these products because it's a struggle, you know.
- 22:34SPEAKER_02: When you don't know, especially I feel like in the beauty industry, like when you don't know what works, like for, for example, like as a woman of color, like a totally different topic, like a red lip.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: Like I remember I couldn't find a red lipstick for the longest time.
- 22:45SPEAKER_02: And it made me feel weird, you know what I mean?
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, and and these kind of things, like they they leave something on you, like on your mind, you know, in your psyche.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: And I feel like it's more than just beauty, you know, when you create a line that really works and you put that out there, like you're creating options for kids now, you know, that are growing up and they're they're gonna be like, Yes, okay, I have the products I need, you know, and I feel beautiful and I feel wonderful.
- 23:07SPEAKER_02: So that's huge, and that's such an impact.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: So truly have thank you.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I want to ask you as a kind of a rounding out uh question, some for some advice for the budding entrepreneurs out there that might start their own thing.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: If you could offer it, I think, yeah, I think, I think the number one advice that I would give them is definitely go after something that you're passionate about.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: Um, because where there is passion, you're not, it doesn't become about money, you know what I mean?
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: And it and it doesn't become about even having this, you know, timeline.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: Um when you love what you do, you just keep your head down, you know, focused, working extremely hard.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: And then before you know it, when you look up, you're like, wow, this is really taken off.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: And I just feel like, you know, like I said, I've been in this industry for a long time, and I feel like I've learned that at such a young age.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: Um, that wherever there is passion, I feel like there is success.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: Um and so I would say, you know, find what you're passionate about.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: And then also finding that passion could take time, you know, like I feel like we have a whole life ahead of us.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: Um, and we're constantly evolving, growing, and changing.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: And if you might not know what it is, you know, in your 20s, that's okay.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: You might realize what it is in your 30s.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: If you might not know what it is in your 30s, you might realize what it is in your 40s.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: So, you know, just trust yourself um and just, you know, continue to be yourself, live your authentic self or live your authentic life, move through this world from an authentic standpoint, um, and follow your passion.
- 25:00SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, that's such good advice.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: And I thank you so much for offering it because we have so many entrepreneurs that listen in, you know, or send questions.
