• 2:17
Speaker 2: So yeah, like we said, we got a bunch of topics for you right off the bat.
• 2:22
Speaker 2: Let's talk about these tariffs.
• 2:23
Speaker 2: This is sending everybody into a bit of a tizzy, huh.
• 2:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, so really, what they have been is exactly what President Trump knew they were going to be, which is a bargaining chip.
• 2:33
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 2:34
Speaker 3: He's whipped them out four times.
• 2:37
Speaker 3: The first one was with Columbia.
• 2:38
Speaker 3: We talked about this last week Between the fourth and the eighth hole on President Trump's Sunday round of golf.
• 2:45
  Speaker 3: It was fixed.
• 2:47
Speaker 3: He did the same thing with Mexico within hours.
• 2:51
Speaker 3: Their president, she was talking a lot of trash.
• 2:53
Speaker 2: She was talking tough there, she was trying to girl boss and kind of realize the impact.
• 2:59
Speaker 3: Yeah, back down sent 10,000 troops to the border on their side, Justin Trudeau, everybody's least favorite Canadian, tried to do the same thing the only time in his life he ever tried to alpha mail ever and failed miserably.
• 3:14
Speaker 3: Agreed to all kinds of things and it's all conditional on a month pause on the tariffs and it's working.
• 3:24
Speaker 3: The only one that it hasn't worked on is China thus far, but that's a little bit of a different ball game, based on who they are and their economic power.
• 3:33
Speaker 3: It still works, but it's working everybody.
• 3:38
Speaker 2: Yes, it's working, just like we said it would and you said it wouldn't.
• 3:42
  Speaker 2: I wonder who's right?
• 3:44
  Speaker 2: Oh, we are.
• 3:45
Speaker 2: Listen, I'm not petty.
• 3:48
Speaker 2: I'm not petty, I just sound like I am, that's all.
• 3:51
Speaker 2: But you know, yeah, everybody.
• 3:54
Speaker 2: So everybody was freaking out over, probably like the past, but I don't know, 24 hours or so, that they weren't going to get their Timu or Shine or Sheen I never know how to say that Deliveries from China.
• 4:07
Speaker 2: But that is also reversed.
• 4:10
Speaker 2: Right now, right At the moment, that's been reversed.
• 4:13
Speaker 3: Usps is back online delivering that stuff.
• 4:16
Speaker 3: But President Trump, when it comes to economics and doing business deals, listen folks.
• 4:24
Speaker 3: He's the master and everybody's like, oh, he bankrupt this and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
• 4:27
Speaker 3: He knows what he's doing and this has worked.
• 4:30
Speaker 3: It's proven multiple times already that it's worked, so just let him do his thing.
• 4:35
Speaker 3: Your cost of maple syrup's not going to go up, it's okay.
• 4:38
Speaker 3: Oh, by the way, before you open your mouth, do a little research on what the percentage of the tariffs are going out versus coming in.
• 4:48
Speaker 3: By the way, canada charges a ton of money that we pay for that.
• 4:58
Speaker 3: They pay us almost nothing in return, but as it stands right now, mexico is very much the same way.
• 5:04
Speaker 3: So do your research before you get all worked up.
• 5:06
Speaker 3: The reality is the percentage of imports from Canada and Mexico are very, very small.
• 5:13
Speaker 3: Most households don't even buy things from those two nations, with the exception of a lot of automakers having plants in Canada.
• 5:20
Speaker 3: Okay, fine, but other than that, very little impact on people's lives, contrary to popular belief.
• 5:26
Speaker 2: Right, yeah, yeah, it's going to affect them way more than does us.
• 5:29
Speaker 2: I saw a funny, funny, short little video of some Canadian, I think it was like a package store owner, and he was taking, taking off the shelves all of the American products that that he already bought, that he already paid for.
• 5:42
Speaker 2: Like who are you hurting here?
• 5:44
Speaker 2: Not us, you know.
• 5:47
Speaker 2: So I think you said it perfectly clear.
• 5:50
Speaker 2: Everybody needs to calm down.
• 5:51
Speaker 2: Calm down, let it play out.
• 5:53
Speaker 2: The guy knows what he's doing.
• 5:55
Speaker 2: I mean, we're what are we?
• 5:57
  Speaker 2: 16 days?
• 5:58
Speaker 2: 16 days 16 days in office and there's you know what I think we were saying before.
• 6:03
Speaker 2: We even said at the beginning so much happening in such short order, things that you know he's promised that he was going to do.
• 6:11
Speaker 2: He said he was going to do and he's doing them.
• 6:14
Speaker 2: And we talked about and we may even mentioned it last week that, um, we thought I remember specifically me thinking that it's not going to all get done in one term.
• 6:25
  Speaker 2: It's like there's no way.
• 6:27
Speaker 2: It's just too much, right Like it's impossible.
• 6:29
Speaker 2: There's too many channels, right Like?
• 6:33
Speaker 2: We all thought that, as optimistic and hopeful, um, and high expectations that we have, they were very tempered expectations based on what we've seen more or less our whole lives, right.
• 6:47
Speaker 2: So this is uncharted territory.
• 6:50
Speaker 2: This is something we have never, ever seen the likes of, and the transparency is what is so gratifying and awe-inspiring, like they're so open.
• 7:03
Speaker 2: Everything that they're doing.
• 7:05
  Speaker 2: It's incredible.
• 7:06
  Speaker 2: And we're like I think everybody's like shell-shocked.
• 7:08
Speaker 2: Even the people who were expecting it or wanting it, you know, are like is this really happening?
• 7:13
  Speaker 2: This is crazy.
• 7:14
  Speaker 2: I never knew.
• 7:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, we have a government that did this.
• 7:18
Speaker 3: I wrote a blog today about, you know, the chaos that's being.
• 7:21
Speaker 3: You know chaos is ensuing every time one of these decisions.
• 7:26
  Speaker 3: But it's progress?
• 7:26
Speaker 3: Yeah, because it is.
• 7:28
Speaker 3: You know, he's flipping over every rock, he's turning everything over.
• 7:31
  Speaker 3: He's looking underneath.
• 7:32
Speaker 3: We're finding all kinds of stuff.
• 7:33
Speaker 3: People are worked up.
• 7:35
Speaker 3: I love how they're using that.
• 7:36
Speaker 3: Well, Elon wasn't elected, yeah, well, neither was Dr Jill, neither is George Soros.
• 7:40
Speaker 2: I was going to say, yeah, neither was this guy here, right, alex Soros.
• 7:52
Speaker 3: Oh, by the way, kamala didn't win any primaries.
• 7:54
Speaker 3: They put her in, so stop with that.
• 7:55
Speaker 3: Okay, you know the USAID discussion, which is the big one right now.
• 7:56
Speaker 3: You know, because he went in there and shut it down.
• 7:58
Speaker 3: Oh, by the way, found some ridiculous spending.
• 8:02
  Speaker 3: Both.
• 8:03
Speaker 3: You know, on the shady side of what's.
• 8:06
Speaker 3: You know, truthfully, nation developing money, like we didn't need a transgender child's play in El Salvador or whatever that was.
• 8:16
Speaker 3: You know those kinds of things.
• 8:17
Speaker 3: We didn't need that.
• 8:18
Speaker 3: There was funding going into.
• 8:20
Speaker 3: You know a health corporation that ended up funding the Wuhan lab.
• 8:25
Speaker 3: They're finding all kinds of things right now and there are people protesting that because it's being done by somebody that wasn't elected or appointed.
• 8:37
Speaker 3: But what they fail to realize is that Marco Rubio, who was unanimously you went through the numbers last week, yes, unanimously confirmed as the secretary of state, usaid works for him.
• 8:47
  Speaker 3: That's right.
• 8:48
Speaker 3: He took over as the director of USAID right In the interim, until they get somebody else in there.
• 8:54
Speaker 3: He's the one who let Elon in the front door.
• 8:55
Speaker 3: He is the one who said everybody go home.
• 8:58
Speaker 3: He's the one who allowed, like you know, Elon's been given access to these things, and I know a lot of people are complaining, you know.
• 9:05
Speaker 3: Oh, he's accessing, classified this and classified that.
• 9:08
Speaker 3: Yeah, well, if you've been given an interim clearance, which he has yeah, I guarantee he has, and the people that work for him have been given an interim clearance and have been given access at the stroke of a pen from the president, they have access.
• 9:20
Speaker 3: Yeah, period, you can not like it.
• 9:22
Speaker 3: You can not like it, that's OK, but what you can't say is this is illegal, this is this.
• 9:28
Speaker 3: Listen, I can promise you that this all stands up in court a lot.
• 9:32
Speaker 2: There's no question about it.
• 9:33
Speaker 2: There is no I that hasn't been dotted, no T that hasn't been crossed here.
• 9:39
Speaker 2: No, you know legality that has not been looked into before they've done anything, because they know this is not the first rodeo for Trump and the people that he's he's brought in.
• 9:51
Speaker 2: You know they're they're not playing, they're not playing and it is glorious to watch, and you know, and also, obviously, it's always ironic and, just you know, a head scratcher to watch people foaming at the mouth and getting angry that Elon Musk and Doge are saving us money, are eliminating wasteful spending that we do not benefit from Our tax dollars, are going to funding a play in Serbia, and you know all of the things that you mentioned.
• 10:24
Speaker 2: So to be angry about that just says you just want to be angry, you just want to be mad, that's all.
• 10:31
  Speaker 3: It's TDS.
• 10:32
Speaker 3: That's what it is.
• 10:33
Speaker 3: It's mental arrangement syndrome.
• 10:34
Speaker 3: For sure, you know, people are finding reasons to be upset about this.
• 10:37
Speaker 3: And, fine, 60% of America decided this is what we wanted to do for the next at least two years, if not four years.
• 10:44
Speaker 3: And this is what we wanted to do for the next at least two years, if not four years, and this is what we're going to do.
• 10:47
Speaker 3: So buckle up, yeah, because it's not stopping.
• 10:49
  Speaker 2: Yep, nope, nope.
• 10:51
Speaker 2: It is going to keep on rolling and it's just going to get better and better, and I love it.
• 10:57
Speaker 2: I love it so much.
• 10:58
Speaker 2: Here's something I don't love the plane crashes.
• 11:03
  Speaker 2: Oh those, those.
• 11:05
Speaker 2: Did you watch those videos?
• 11:07
Speaker 3: So I, I have and and I will, um, uh, this is another.
• 11:11
Speaker 3: Another topic that I wrote recently is that, um, there's a lot of people out there, especially when it comes to the DC uh crash Blackhawk helicopter and the airliner.
• 11:22
Speaker 3: There's a lot of armchair quarterbacking going on out there.
• 11:24
Speaker 3: Yes, and I will tell you solely as an informed passenger and I've spent a lot of hours in the back of a Blackhawk or a bunch of military helicopters, but a lot of Blackhawk time as a passenger with night vision, goggles on with the headset on, listening to the air crew, you know, talk and converse and all that.
• 11:44
Speaker 3: And let me tell you something unless you have flown a helicopter at night in a major metropolitan urban area, with all the ambient light that comes with that, under night vision, near one of the busiest airports in the world, please keep your opinions to yourself.
• 11:58
Speaker 3: If you, or you know, if you haven't been an air traffic controller at a major metropolitan airport, again please shut up.
• 12:06
Speaker 3: Ask questions you want.
• 12:07
Speaker 3: You have no authority, you have no expertise, you have no room to pass judgment on anyone and please, please, until we know what happened, keep the DEI crap out of the conversation, Please.
• 12:24
Speaker 3: We're passing judgment on stuff.
• 12:26
Speaker 3: We don't know what happened yet.
• 12:27
Speaker 3: There is an ongoing full investigation and they will get to the bottom of this.
• 12:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think with this current administration, we're going to find out everything that they know.
• 12:39
Speaker 2: Yep, you know, I haven't the faintest idea how.
• 12:44
  Speaker 2: You know.
• 12:45
Speaker 2: I think everybody is trying to wrap their brains around how that could have even happened.
• 12:49
Speaker 2: And you know to your point we couldn't possibly understand because that's not our world.
• 12:55
Speaker 2: So you know, obviously all of the speculation has been going on, and you know, and of course the conspiracy theories start pretty much instantaneously.
• 13:05
Speaker 2: You know, looking at the passenger logs and who's on there and everything.
• 13:09
Speaker 2: And you know, I always cringe.
• 13:12
Speaker 2: I cringe when that starts up so immediately because it's like, hey, hang on, Take a breath here, because there were children on this plane, there were families.
• 13:24
Speaker 2: These are human beings and now there's all of these families, including the Blackhawk family members, who are trying to process this incredible loss right now.
• 13:37
Speaker 2: And people are throwing all of this doubt, especially on the pilots for the Blackhawk, I think, because they wouldn't disclose the female's name initially, and so that, right away, why won't they disclose it?
• 13:52
Speaker 2: Well, she just got a medal, she was just here.
• 13:55
  Speaker 2: Conspiracy, conspiracy.
• 13:56
Speaker 2: And I'm not saying any of that stuff is impossible, anything is possible.
• 14:01
Speaker 2: We just don't know right now.
• 14:03
Speaker 2: And I think of the families.
• 14:04
Speaker 2: I just think of those families.
• 14:06
Speaker 2: Like it is breathtaking when you think about the loss and the suddenness of it.
• 14:12
Speaker 2: So, remember our humanity for a minute.
• 14:14
  Speaker 2: Guys, Come on.
• 14:15
Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's, you know it's heartbreaking because that you know those families.
• 14:20
Speaker 3: That was a training exercise, a training flight for that Blackhawk crew.
• 14:23
Speaker 3: You know you expect obviously any time you fly at night in an aircraft you know there's danger involved with that, but that's not, I don't expect that out of.
• 14:32
Speaker 3: You know, a training exercise, training flight, and you know I've had to deliver bad news like that to families before.
• 14:39
Speaker 3: It's the most awful thing that you have to do.
• 14:44
Speaker 3: So the lack of respect is heartbreaking.
• 14:47
Speaker 3: It says a lot about our humanity, or lack of humanity, right now and again to have that bleed over into the Philadelphia crash.
• 14:56
Speaker 3: That was an air ambulance, which is Aero Ambulance, I think that's the name of it, but it's an international corporation.
• 15:13
Speaker 3: They do ambulatory flights.
• 15:14
Speaker 3: You know there was a pilot, a copilot, a physician, a physician's assistant, the mother and a child patient on that aircraft.
• 15:16
Speaker 3: They were, it was Mexican, it was a Mexican based aircraft out of Tijuana, which is where they were flying back to.
• 15:18
Speaker 3: They were leaving Philadelphia, flying to Kansas City for a refuel and then on to Tijuana to take that little girl home, and something tragic happened, unfortunately also someone in a car on the ground.
• 15:30
Speaker 2: Yes, yes, one person in a vehicle Injuring 22 people yeah, a lot of injuries, that's a very crowded neighborhood in Philadelphia.
• 15:38
Speaker 3: It's on the, you know, north Philly.
• 15:40
Speaker 3: It was a shopping mall area, very urban.
• 15:43
Speaker 3: You know location, but it's, you know, because it fell on the heels of the DC crash, everybody started, you know, lumping them together and it's, you know, they brought the DI crap into that too, and it's just, it's awful.
• 15:56
Speaker 3: You know again, please, you know, remember your humanity in all of this.
• 16:00
Speaker 3: People die in tragic loss.
• 16:03
Speaker 3: In both of those instances it's terrible.
• 16:10
Speaker 2: And neither one of us are saying not to investigate it.
• 16:12
Speaker 2: I mean, like that's literally the point Let the investigation happen.
• 16:14
Speaker 2: We are, we are living in a transparent government right now, or I'll be reasonable and say what appears to be more Like, let's let's, you know, let's give it a chance, give it a chance to play out, give them a chance to do the investigation and all of those things.
• 16:34
Speaker 2: But I agree with you, you know there's there's plenty to say about DI hiring and all of that stuff, and it's just not the moment for it, right, I mean not to me at least.
• 16:46
Speaker 2: I mean you know everybody can do whatever the hell they want, but personally speaking, I would say, you know, give it, give it a pause and uh and see, and just, you know, for the moment, consider those families that are dealing with the most horrific, you know kind of loss.
• 17:01
Speaker 2: It's so out of the box, you know plane crashes, and it's so out of the box of what is like normal in in lives, you know.
• 17:09
Speaker 2: So this is just Very tragic.
• 17:12
Speaker 2: Seeing all those I was looking at, you know, just researching the topic, looking at the pictures of all of these young people and families, you know, families that lost either their mother or father.
• 17:26
Speaker 3: It was a competing team, it was a bunch of guys who were hunting together, like there's a whole bunch of groups and people together on that.
• 17:33
Speaker 3: You know relatively small airplane.
• 17:35
Speaker 2: Right, what was it?
• 17:36
Speaker 3: 64 people on board that one 64, I think passengers and crew, and then the three on the Blackhawk Right.
• 17:41
Speaker 3: So you know, listen, you know the veteran community is guilty of this.
• 17:45
Speaker 3: We're our own worst critics, but we also speculate on things that you know even we don't know about.
• 17:51
Speaker 3: Again, I've ridden in the back of them.
• 17:52
Speaker 3: I've spent a lot of hours in them.
• 17:54
Speaker 3: I am telling you that is not a job that I would have enjoyed, I don't think, but it's a tough job.
• 18:01
Speaker 3: And unless you've done it and even if you have done it and I would tell you, the pilots that I know have been the ones who've been the most calm in this entire thing, because they know, but you know, unless you're one of those people who've done that literally been there, done that please do not speak with authority on any of this stuff.
• 18:17
  Speaker 3: Right?
• 18:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, and you see it, you know I mean again one of the dark sides of social media.
• 18:23
Speaker 2: You know, and everybody is an instant expert.
• 18:26
  Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely Well.
• 18:28
Speaker 2: I saw a meme so that means I know yeah.
• 18:32
Speaker 3: I flew a flight simulator once yeah.
• 18:38
Speaker 4: I play Call of Duty.
• 18:39
Speaker 2: I've never in my entire life played that.
• 18:41
Speaker 2: I hear it's highly addictive to play, but that's why I'll stay away from it.
• 18:45
Speaker 2: But yeah, so obviously you know we'll keep watching.
• 18:50
Speaker 2: Everybody is watching, you know, and just wanting to understand.
• 18:53
Speaker 2: I think there's a natural inclination, of course, to want answers, you know, to understand how something horrific like that can happen and certainly you know, to state the obvious, obviously hope that there was nothing nefarious, nothing you know, untowards going on.
• 19:10
Speaker 2: Most likely tell me if you think the same or not.
• 19:12
Speaker 2: It most likely tell me if you think the same or not.
• 19:15
Speaker 2: Most likely it was simply a tragic accident or two very tragic accidents.
• 19:21
Speaker 3: You know Occam's razor.
• 19:23
Speaker 3: It's the most likely, you know the most likely.
• 19:27
Speaker 3: You know explanation for the incident was just a horrible accident, that that is most likely what happened.
• 19:31
Speaker 3: So that's kind of where my head goes.
• 19:34
Speaker 3: But you know we'll have to wait for the investigation and and see what happens.
• 19:37
Speaker 2: So yeah, that's kind of where my head goes but you know we'll have to wait for the investigation and and uh see what happens, yeah yeah, yeah, meantime we got.
• 19:40
Speaker 3: We got military aircraft flying all over the world right now yeah, yeah, we do.
• 19:45
Speaker 2: Where are they going clay?
• 19:46
Speaker 2: What are they doing?
• 19:47
  Speaker 2: What's happening right?
• 19:49
Speaker 3: so we got them.
• 19:49
Speaker 3: We talked a little bit uh, we talked a little bit about the actual deportation last week, although that that's ramped up with the inclusion now of sending folks to Gitmo.
• 19:59
  Speaker 1: Yes.
• 20:00
Speaker 3: Which is an interesting twist and the president of El Salvador volunteering to say hey, we'll take all of your violent criminals to include Americans if you want, and we'll take them off your hands, which you know will never happen.
• 20:13
Speaker 3: But you know the gitmo thing is raising some eyebrows, to include from the leadership in cuba, yes, but what it's generating, obviously, is nationwide.
• 20:23
Speaker 3: You've got protests everywhere, and the idiocracy of this is my favorite, which is especially I've seen it the most in los angeles oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 20:34
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 20:35
Speaker 4: We can talk over this.
• 20:35
Speaker 1: It's the you know there it is Right, there it is.
• 20:38
Speaker 1: What are we doing?
• 20:39
  Speaker 3: We're in America.
• 20:41
  Speaker 1: Yep.
• 20:41
Speaker 3: We're burning an American flag, the nation that has, you know, allowed you to stay here.
• 20:46
Speaker 3: Right, we are waving loyalty to Mexico with Mexican flags and yet refusing to return to Mexico, where we came from.
• 20:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, how about that for logic?
• 20:59
Speaker 2: How great is that?
• 21:00
Speaker 2: I just I just did a video the other day because, again, same exact thing, you know, head exploding, mind going with the insanity of it.
• 21:10
Speaker 2: So everything that you just said, you know.
• 21:13
Speaker 2: My dilemma, my mental dilemma here, was, like I can't decide what is worse that you know that you have these illegals waving the flags of the country they don't want to go back to and burning the flag of the country they want to stay in.
• 21:28
Speaker 2: There's that or is the idiots on the left who are crying for them on social media?
• 21:37
Speaker 2: So you know, and everybody who's you know, all of these politicians who are, you know, wanting to harbor them and keep them safe.
• 21:47
  Speaker 2: Like I can't decide what's worse.
• 21:49
Speaker 2: I think they're probably pretty much equally awful and if I, you know, if I could have it my way, I would deport them along with, along with.
• 21:58
Speaker 2: Like listen, you're so sympathetic, that's so sweet of you.
• 22:01
Speaker 2: You know, your, your heart is so big, why don't you go with them?
• 22:05
Speaker 3: Well, and then you've got the New Jersey.
• 22:07
Speaker 3: It's not the governor, is it the governor?
• 22:10
Speaker 3: I think it might be the governor, governor who's housing an illegal in his home.
• 22:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, holman's like okay.
• 22:16
Speaker 2: Well, might be the governor, governor who's housing an illegal in his home.
• 22:16
Speaker 3: yeah, homans like okay well, that was his response.
• 22:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, deal with that too, right, so no problem.
• 22:22
Speaker 3: And and then you've got.
• 22:23
Speaker 3: You know, pam bondy got uh confirmed today.
• 22:27
Speaker 3: Recording all right, another confirmation, you know?
• 22:30
Speaker 3: Uh, into the trump team, right?
• 22:32
Speaker 3: She's already stated day one, yeah, all of the state's attorneys, that they will cooperate.
• 22:38
Speaker 3: They will cooperate with prosecution, they will cooperate with the administration, they will cooperate with ice and the federal law enforcement agencies, or they will be disciplined and or find themselves a new job.
• 22:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, not an option, not an option.
• 22:52
  Speaker 2: I love it.
• 22:53
Speaker 2: I love, and this is everything that I, we, collectively, us asked for.
• 23:00
Speaker 2: Like, just just state how it is, don't apologize, don't dance around it, don't make excuses.
• 23:09
Speaker 2: This is how it is.
• 23:10
Speaker 2: You want to cry?
• 23:11
Speaker 2: Go cry, keep crying, cry more, for all we care.
• 23:15
Speaker 2: We're following the letter of the law.
• 23:17
Speaker 2: We're doing everything that we said that we're going to do.
• 23:20
Speaker 2: Again, my word of the day full transparency.
• 23:27
Speaker 2: We said we were going to do this.
• 23:27
  Speaker 2: We're doing it.
• 23:28
Speaker 2: Don't know why you think otherwise.
• 23:29
Speaker 2: Well, we know why because we've heard empty promises, you know, from all, all leaders.
• 23:33
Speaker 3: You know from all, all leaders.
• 23:34
  Speaker 3: Well, it's, it's.
• 23:35
Speaker 3: It goes back to what we talked about.
• 23:36
Speaker 3: You know, top of the show, and that's the.
• 23:43
Speaker 3: The rapid nature of all of this is what's putting people off.
• 23:44
Speaker 3: Um, truthfully, you know, you said it, you were, you didn't think so.
• 23:46
  Speaker 3: I didn't think so.
• 23:47
  Speaker 3: I mean, I was standing.
• 23:48
Speaker 3: I got a text from a friend of mine right after the inauguration speech.
• 23:52
Speaker 3: I was in Las Vegas for the shot show and a friend texted me and said, you know, what did you think?
• 23:57
Speaker 3: And I was like too aggressive, um, you know, four years, um, he'll get a lot done, but I think he's overstepping, he's over committing.
• 24:05
Speaker 3: And then, literally just yesterday or maybe the day before, same guy texted me back and said, okay, so what?
• 24:12
Speaker 3: You know, give me a letter grade, how's he doing so far?
• 24:14
Speaker 3: And I was like absolutely blown away, totally, you know, underestimated what he's doing.
• 24:20
Speaker 3: He is, you know, he may get done everything in the first year or two.
• 24:25
Speaker 3: And then, you know, I actually heard a great theory last night.
• 24:27
Speaker 3: I think it was on Gutfeld, and I'm not an often Gutfeld watcher.
• 24:31
Speaker 3: The humor is not as good, I think, as some people believe, believe it to be, but you know, I think it was Tyrus.
• 24:37
Speaker 3: His guy on there was saying that you know, trump, he's President Trump's running like this at a million miles an hour so that he can get everything done in the first two years that he wants to, and then he's literally just going to hand it off to JD Vance.
• 24:49
Speaker 2: And he's going to go play golf.
• 24:50
Speaker 2: They're the keys to the castle.
• 24:52
Speaker 2: My friend, yeah, my friend yeah.
• 24:53
  Speaker 3: Set them up.
• 24:53
Speaker 3: Set them up for success, for, you know, the follow on administration, which you know is an interesting plan.
• 24:59
Speaker 3: It's actually probably not too far from true, but the speed of this and the lack of reaction time is, I think, what's really got people upset.
• 25:08
Speaker 3: Right, is they, you know?
• 25:10
Speaker 3: But before they can get mad about something, he's moved on to something else.
• 25:14
  Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't, they don't, they don't, they don't.
• 25:16
Speaker 2: They don't know what to get outraged about first like I'm so angry that you're doing this.
• 25:21
Speaker 2: Wait, you're doing that.
• 25:22
Speaker 3: No, I'm angry about that, like yeah I mean yesterday, hey, we're gonna, we're gonna own gaza, like what, what, what?
• 25:30
Speaker 3: Listen, I again all transparency.
• 25:32
Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know what he meant by that, I don't know how earnest that statement was, but I will say, on the face of it, the guy who promised to keep us out of wars or not, commit us bit more on what, what he envisions doing, and it was much more reasonable, you know, than than that initial statement sounded like I.
• 26:04
Speaker 2: If I find it, I'll throw it in here.
• 26:06
Speaker 3: But yeah, I think you gotta be aware of the sound bite, though that's.
• 26:08
Speaker 3: The hard part is that everybody clips it.
• 26:11
Speaker 3: You know he should go better because that's all they've been doing him for the last eight years yeah, and he's gotten, I I think, tell me if you agree or not.
• 26:18
Speaker 3: I think he's gotten exceptionally better about he has, yeah, he still says stuff that you're like oh, oh, oh okay well his reaction yesterday the most genuine reaction I've seen, probably since he took office, was when they told him that president biden had with CAA, the massive talent agency in Hollywood, and he stopped and turned his head.
• 26:39
Speaker 3: He goes are you kidding me?
• 26:40
Speaker 3: Like it was just the most like down to earth you know moment from president Trump.
• 26:45
  Speaker 1: I've seen it a while.
• 26:47
Speaker 3: And it was like it was this shock, like absolute, could not believe what he had just heard.
• 26:53
Speaker 2: Oh, I love it.
• 26:54
  Speaker 2: I love it.
• 26:54
Speaker 2: I'll have to look for that one.
• 26:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, I, you know, there's no question about it.
• 26:57
Speaker 2: You know, stay, let's state the obvious.
• 26:59
Speaker 2: He is shaking it all up, they're all, and I just saw it resurvey.
• 27:04
Speaker 2: I think it was like kind of quiet for a little bit, but they just um, somebody just brought it up again that he's, you know, he's moving forward on abolishing, uh, the department of education wild and in a very good way, and that actually.
• 27:20
Speaker 2: So we'll talk about that some more.
• 27:21
Speaker 2: But that actually ties in, really, with our guests, believe it or not?
• 27:25
Speaker 2: Again, guys, his name, I'm going to bring him on in just a second.
• 27:28
Speaker 2: His name is Chad Stewart and he has written the first in a series is called Britfield and the Lost Crown.
• 27:35
Speaker 2: This sounds so good.
• 27:37
Speaker 2: So when they talked about, when I was reading about the you know about the book, like what, you know how they always tell you, like what to compare it to or what it reminds you of, Um, I saw the magic, magic name for me, which was CS Lewis.
• 27:49
  Speaker 2: Who my heart?
• 27:51
Speaker 2: I love CS Lewis beyond words.
• 27:54
Speaker 2: So as soon as I saw that, I was like, oh, okay, well he's, we have to have him on Um, but yeah, it sounds like an amazing book.
• 28:00
Speaker 2: I want him to tell us a little bit about it and we're going to bring him on right now.
• 28:04
Speaker 2: And here is Chad Stewart Hi, so nice to meet you.
• 28:08
Speaker 5: Nice to meet you, thank you.
• 28:14
Speaker 2: You are welcome, so we're thrilled to have you on here.
• 28:15
Speaker 2: I can't wait to hear about your book and I also.
• 28:17
Speaker 2: I don't know if you heard it, but we were talking about abolishing the Department of Education.
• 28:20
Speaker 2: But we were talking about abolishing the Department of Education and I know you have a very big education lean here, so I know you have some great insights on that.
• 28:28
Speaker 2: So, clay, you have some questions.
• 28:31
  Speaker 3: Yeah, chad.
• 28:32
Speaker 3: So you know three authors sitting here.
• 28:34
Speaker 3: Actually Elsa's an author, I'm an author.
• 28:38
Speaker 3: We all are very different genres.
• 28:40
Speaker 3: So you know I write adult action fiction, elsa writes Hallmark movie novels and obviously yours is labeled as kids books.
• 28:53
Speaker 3: But every author has his or her own process and motivation.
• 28:59
Speaker 3: You know, when I wrote Keep Moving, keep Shooting, it was my transition, you know, retirement from the army into the civilian world and it was a way to keep my brain engaged.
• 29:09
Speaker 3: So what was your impetus or your motivation to write?
• 29:12
Speaker 5: Yeah, great, great question.
• 29:14
Speaker 5: And yeah, it's not necessarily a kid's book series.
• 29:17
Speaker 5: It's very similar to the Harry Potter series, but the complete opposite of Harry Potter, if that makes sense, meaning where Harry Potter was designed to introduce black magic, witchcraft, to the hearts and minds of children.
• 29:27
Speaker 5: Redfield is the complete opposite of that.
• 29:29
Speaker 5: It's anchored in current time.
• 29:31
Speaker 5: We don't use any heightened fantasy, demigod, superheroes, none of it.
• 29:35
Speaker 5: They're very, very authentic books and the main characters that start in book one at 12,.
• 29:39
Speaker 5: By the end of the series, book seven will be 18.
• 29:41
  Speaker 5: And real quick.
• 29:42
Speaker 5: Our youngest reader is seven, our oldest reader is 93, and 55% of our global audience are adults.
• 29:48
  Speaker 5: So it really is a fast-paced, high-octane.
• 29:51
Speaker 5: But what the quote you were mentioning was, it was great.
• 29:53
Speaker 5: I think it was from the Epoch Times and it said it's a combination of CS Lewis and Dan Brown.
• 29:58
  Speaker 5: I thought that's pretty cool.
• 29:59
Speaker 5: We've been compared to like a lot of others, which is cool.
• 30:03
Speaker 5: And there was a wonderful comment we got from a woman, an older woman in Canada, and she said, because I love the Britfield series, she goes, it reminds me a lot of James Bond, but with a bigger cast and a greater purpose.
• 30:12
Speaker 5: And I thought, wow, she nailed it.
• 30:13
Speaker 5: But yeah, it's funny, I'm originally Beach, california.
• 30:16
Speaker 5: You might be familiar with the area and I was back East Wellesley, massachusetts, for 16 years where I did my undergraduate in British literature and European history.
• 30:22
Speaker 5: And it was about 12 years ago when I had the idea for Britfield and Lost Crown.
• 30:27
Speaker 5: I was actually into investment banking and worked for three Fortune 100 companies and it really obviously was just not a good fit for me.
• 30:32
Speaker 5: I don't think it's a good fit for most people and I was dying to do something creative, get back into the game and the creativity and we're all born creative, whether people feel it or not, but we sort of get diverted away from really our talents and our creativity.
• 30:44
Speaker 5: And so I sat down and spent four years, 2,500 hours, writing britfield lost ground, book one and when I started it I really just did start to do something fun.
• 30:52
  Speaker 5: I didn't.
• 30:52
Speaker 5: I didn't see it as this massive series.
• 30:54
  Speaker 5: I didn't see it as a, as a 12-year undertaking.
• 30:57
Speaker 5: This is the next um 25 years of my life, if you will, and it's seven.
• 31:01
Speaker 5: It'll be seven books, it'll be seven major motion pictures.
• 31:03
Speaker 5: Here's a finished you'll appreciate this a finished movie script, seventh draft, and that took about over 18 months, about $354,000, which is kind of typical for that range.
• 31:14
Speaker 5: I mean high level expertise in writing it.
• 31:17
Speaker 5: We're in pre-production of the first movie.
• 31:19
Speaker 5: Hopefully we'll be filming in spring of next year in England for the first of seven major motion pictures.
• 31:23
Speaker 5: So it's this fast-paced adventure series.
• 31:26
Speaker 5: Book one is in England.
• 31:27
Speaker 5: Book two then moves to France and the main characters of Tom and Sarah are 13 years old now, and then that's 474 pages.
• 31:33
Speaker 5: Book three is Italy.
• 31:34
Speaker 5: The main characters are 14 years old, that's 575 pages, and we just launched, as you can see behind me, britfield and the Eastern Empire starts in Vienna, ends in Moscow, russia.
• 31:44
Speaker 5: We include 11 countries.
• 31:45
Speaker 5: It's 437 pages, and the main characters are 15 years old now.
• 31:49
Speaker 5: But we have this whole diverse cast of Detective Gowerstone, who's in his 40s, inspector Fontaine, who used to work for Interpol, who we were introduced into book two until she finds out how corrupt Interpol is, and now is helping out this whole sort of Britfield series and stuff.
• 32:02
Speaker 5: We have Oliver, who Tom and Sarah, the main characters, meet in Oxford university in book one, who's a sophomore, he kind of gets, and again too, it's fun.
• 32:11
Speaker 5: You guys can appreciate this.
• 32:11
Speaker 5: When you're writing or you're writing series you don't really know.
• 32:14
Speaker 5: You're introducing certain characters because you want them to, because you need them to, because you need them to be there, or they're sort of moving the story along, but you really like them and I'm like, so I bring back Oliver and he's in all the series now, and so you have that sort of 20 something.
• 32:26
Speaker 5: And then Kate, this computer tech who's kind of a podcaster blogger and she's getting the word out on the truth, and so it's very, very succinct to today's exactly what's happening right now.
• 32:37
Speaker 5: And I remember when book two came out, a lot of people were saying what are you prophetic?
• 32:40
Speaker 5: And that was five years ago.
• 32:41
Speaker 5: And so I do bring in a lot of the things that you're talking about and I pull the curtain.
• 32:46
Speaker 5: We talk about quantum computers, d-wave computers, social credit scoring, the dangers of AI, manipulation of the stock market and just so on, and nonprofit organizations that funnel and launder billions of dollars.
• 33:01
Speaker 5: All this stuff are in the series, lightly threaded throughout the background, and I'll stop there.
• 33:08
  Speaker 2: I love that.
• 33:08
Speaker 2: So my book nerd brain wants to ask you so many book nerd, book author nerd questions.
• 33:15
Speaker 2: I'm not going to do that because I really want to stay focused on it, but just know that I'm dying to ask all of those questions that we authors love talking about.
• 33:23
Speaker 2: One thing that I especially love about this I call it I'm making up another word.
• 33:30
Speaker 2: I like to do that too Educatement.
• 33:34
Speaker 2: It's like you're educating and entertaining at the same time, and I think that is so powerful.
• 33:40
Speaker 2: And another thing that I especially love I'm a Christian, so I love that this does not have the magic element in it, that it's very real and just these very authentic, relatable.
• 33:53
Speaker 2: It sounds like characters that are driving these stories, so I think that's just another fabulous thing.
• 33:59
Speaker 2: I'm so excited to see where all of this goes.
• 34:01
Speaker 2: For you, it's amazing, real quick.
• 34:05
Speaker 5: We call it stealth education because, as children are reading it or as adults are reading it, they're learning about geography, art, architecture, culture and history.
• 34:11
Speaker 5: It's based on family, friendship, loyalty, courage and hope, and we incorporate the four C's in every book creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration.
• 34:17
Speaker 5: Tell me another series that does that so.
• 34:19
Speaker 5: But it's funny with the words I'm writing and then I'll, I'll, I'll, like I'll write a word, and then I'll look it up and I'm like that's not a word, really it feels like a word right.
• 34:28
  Speaker 5: It's gotta be a word.
• 34:29
Speaker 5: Yeah, like I like that word.
• 34:30
Speaker 5: Now, that's funny yeah absolutely.
• 34:33
Speaker 2: So you've got a lot of things going on with this book.
• 34:36
Speaker 2: You mentioned a whole bunch of it, so we're going to be able to actually see is this going to be?
• 34:41
Speaker 2: Are they going to be movies?
• 34:42
  Speaker 2: Are they going?
• 34:43
Speaker 5: to live action movies.
• 34:44
  Speaker 5: Yeah, it's just, it's interesting.
• 34:46
Speaker 5: I mean, it's it's hard to compare it because there's so very little like it, even in the history of cinema.
• 34:51
Speaker 5: I'm, you know, I've been involved in that industry for a long time and and just as a, as a researcher behind and you know, on the theater, behind the scenes, all of it, and so it's kind of like you got a little bit of that Raiders of the Lost Ark, but it's current time.
• 35:03
Speaker 5: It's a little bit like National Treasure, but it's bigger than that.
• 35:08
Speaker 5: And it's a lot like Star Wars, but it's not the sci-fi thing.
• 35:12
Speaker 5: And I keep saying that really, britfield and the Lost Crown series is the relaunch of Star Wars, but without any of the sci-fi stuff, because because it has that, that essence that star wars has.
• 35:21
Speaker 5: If you were gripped, as I was as a, as a child, you know, like 1977, I saw the first movie 13 times and it's like I don't like sci-fi, nothing against it, I just don't like it.
• 35:29
Speaker 5: But it's such a great story and it's so much fun and it's so exciting and it's got all these different elements originality, great cast of characters.
• 35:37
Speaker 5: It's an adventure, it's got humor, it's a david and goliath story.
• 35:41
Speaker 5: It's triumph over tragedy.
• 35:42
Speaker 5: Um, the ragtag, you know, rebellion against the mighty empire.
• 35:45
Speaker 5: It's got all those elements and that's what britfield has in it, the essence.
• 35:48
Speaker 5: But we don't, if you will, compromise it with those other elements such as witchcraft or post-apocalyptic or deadly gods or all that stuff, and to me that's sort of um, well, it's easier, easier, it's easy writing.
• 36:00
Speaker 5: So you know, my book, like I don't get to wave a wand to solve a problem, or if they're, if they're, if they're trapped in a corner, it's like what's that magical spell?
• 36:07
Speaker 2: or hold on, let's put on that magical cloak and we can walk through this wall.
• 36:19
Speaker 2: It's like no, I got to figure.
• 36:20
Speaker 2: Children, my grandchildren, are going to be homeschooled.
• 36:23
Speaker 2: That's the plan that they've decided on, which I am ecstatic about.
• 36:27
Speaker 2: After witnessing over the past, you know at least minimum four years of what the education system has turned into.
• 36:36
Speaker 2: What are you seeing that has affected your writing in these books and how you're marketing them?
• 36:45
Speaker 5: Yeah, it's interesting, we're already in thousands of schools.
• 36:47
Speaker 5: There's 120,000 elementary and middle schools in the United States.
• 36:50
Speaker 5: Our goal is to be in at least 80% to 90% of them in the next eight to 10 years, and so we're already in thousands of schools.
• 36:56
Speaker 5: Actually, when we kicked book one Britfield, lost Crown when we kicked it off in August 2019, I drove 9,000 miles.
• 37:01
Speaker 5: I visited 23 states, presented over 200 schools in front of 40 to 50,000 students.
• 37:06
Speaker 5: So I was boots on the ground, you know, sleeves rolled up.
• 37:09
Speaker 5: You know, presenting to sometimes an auditorium of three to 400 fourth through eighth graders, you know, and it's like the fourth graders are just like in the front and great right, the fifth graders they always have the best questions.
• 37:18
Speaker 5: In fact, some of the zingers I've got were from fourth graders.
• 37:21
Speaker 5: I'm like, wow, where'd that come from?
• 37:23
Speaker 5: But it is, it's really cool and it was across the board too.
• 37:25
Speaker 5: You know, private Christian Catholic homeschool.
• 37:28
Speaker 5: You know, you name it.
• 37:28
Speaker 5: You know I was there presenting to it.
• 37:31
Speaker 5: And just to come back full circle to what you're saying about education, I've been saying that for about two years We've seen an explosion in the homeschool movement.
• 37:40
Speaker 5: I like to call it the homeschool revolution and that's happening.
• 37:44
Speaker 5: We've gone from 5 million to what I would estimate almost 12 to 15 million in the last four to five years.
• 37:48
Speaker 5: And it's extraordinary, it's powerful, and what you'll see with the traditional school system, the public system, is it'll kick around and fight right now because it's got billions of dollars, it gets to launder and they've killed creativity and they've really killed the human spirit of learning.
• 38:07
Speaker 5: But, like I said, they're at the beginning of the end of that.
• 38:08
Speaker 5: But your question was what have I seen?
• 38:09
Speaker 5: And I would say that I'm a big proponent.
• 38:11
Speaker 5: I myself was not homeschooled, but I'm a big proponent of it and the best educated kids I have seen are homeschooled.
• 38:17
Speaker 5: Then when I meet someone or parents and they're like, oh, my kids are homeschooled, I get excited because I'm like oh, we're going to have some good conversations.
• 38:22
Speaker 5: You know what I mean.
• 38:23
Speaker 5: Or they read my book and it's just like they're giving me these really articulate questions or specifics.
• 38:28
Speaker 5: They're grounded, they listen well, they're well-read, they're usually one to two grades ahead of all the other students, which is not really a hard sell.
• 38:37
Speaker 5: It's just the whole educational system is so debunked.
• 38:40
Speaker 5: You know what I mean.
• 38:40
Speaker 5: It's based on a 19th century industrial model that's never been changed and it was designed to fail, and I think those that are behind it and responsible for it I told you, I said this, I've been saying this for years there's a reckoning coming and you're starting to see it right now.
• 38:52
Speaker 5: None of this stuff surprises me.
• 38:53
Speaker 5: This is the tip of the iceberg of what's coming.
• 38:56
Speaker 5: So you know, you have the cackling hyenas.
• 39:02
Speaker 5: You know paid actors.
• 39:02
Speaker 5: You know what I mean Politicians, paid actors.
• 39:03
  Speaker 5: I mean it's just like it's nothing.
• 39:04
  Speaker 5: They're done, they're finished.
• 39:05
Speaker 5: I've said this for, I think, 12 months, oh, no, two years.
• 39:07
  Speaker 5: Democratic Party's finished, it's over.
• 39:09
Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, it literally is over.
• 39:10
Speaker 5: What you're seeing right now is a carnival, it's a show, it's a joke, you know.
• 39:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, clay and I were just talking about how they have not learned a thing, right?
• 39:19
Speaker 3: Clay Learned a thing, but so Chad I am.
• 39:22
Speaker 3: So I've got a couple of relatives.
• 39:25
Speaker 3: Both my sisters are in education.
• 39:26
Speaker 3: One is a elementary level administrator and then I have a sister who's a reading specialist.
• 39:32
Speaker 3: I was a full time substitute teacher for about 18 months at a charter school outside of Philadelphia.
• 39:37
Speaker 3: There's a lot of education, you education.
• 39:41
Speaker 3: Elsa and I are both parents.
• 39:42
Speaker 3: Mine are a little younger than hers, but my youngest is in college now.
• 39:47
Speaker 3: So I've been through all the recent maturations and a lot of personal touches in current education.
• 39:53
Speaker 3: There's a lot of things that you said that I agree with.
• 39:56
Speaker 3: However, that the current educational model to go to something different is going to take a cultural shift in the sense of you know, it's nice that homeschooling is produces a great product and I understand that there's a lot of.
• 40:13
Speaker 3: I have a friend who's a principal of a you know, in Pennsylvania, of a homeschool system that allows and provides curriculum for parents to homeschool their kids and those kinds of things.
• 40:23
Speaker 3: But, you know, for a collapse of the current you know educational model, I don't think is realistic, however, with President.
• 40:31
Speaker 5: Trump I did real quick.
• 40:32
  Speaker 5: I did.
• 40:32
Speaker 5: I mean, I said it's the beginning of the end and I said it'll kick around for years, but it's the beginning of the end.
• 40:36
Speaker 5: It'll take time, it's very well entrenched.
• 40:38
Speaker 5: But this is the thing too, and I didn't mean to cut you off, but I remember hearing a comment from like a retired general or something they're talking about the military and it's just like, oh my gosh, you know, like what's happened and the destruction and all the seeds that have been planted, and he's like that stuff can be turned around in two to three weeks.
• 40:58
Speaker 5: You know, change real quick.
• 41:00
Speaker 5: You're looking at a population too in the United States that I would estimate anywhere from 85% plus that are number one that voted for Trump.
• 41:08
Speaker 5: So the statistics that you saw in that and hopefully all those elections, california has been red.
• 41:12
Speaker 5: I'm in San Diego, california.
• 41:13
Speaker 5: It's been red for decades and it went red in this last election.
• 41:16
Speaker 5: Even Vermont went red and I believe that all 50 states did.
• 41:25
Speaker 5: But there's always this back and forth and divided people.
• 41:26
Speaker 5: You know in like 40% of the population are Democrats.
• 41:28
  Speaker 5: No, they're not.
• 41:28
Speaker 5: So what I'm saying is, especially since night, since 2020, you have, you have one of the you have.
• 41:32
Speaker 5: We're in the most awakened time in history.
• 41:34
Speaker 5: You know, some are, some are all the way there, some are, some are just waking up, but you have millions and millions of people that are standing up, that are questioning things, and so we are prepared and prepped for a massive shift and again, it's going to take time, but that shift is already happening, do you realize?
• 41:48
Speaker 5: I think it's like I remember this too.
• 41:51
Speaker 5: So in 2020, I was on my national tour and I was in Memphis, tennessee, and I was finally in the heart of America.
• 41:56
Speaker 5: I went all the way up through Oregon and Washington yeah, that was fun and then across the nation and down through Oklahoma.
• 42:02
Speaker 5: I was in Texas for like a month and I was finally in Tennessee, in the heart of America, and it was March 2020, just did four schools back to back and I had to turn around and drive back and I said to myself and to my friends I said it'll be very interesting when this whole quote unquote pandemic is over, how many parents will be sending their kids back to traditional school?
• 42:20
Speaker 5: And I was saying you know what is it like?
• 42:22
  Speaker 5: You know, 5%, 10%.
• 42:23
Speaker 5: I was seeing estimates of anywhere from 20 to 30% that were coming out 12 to 18 months later.
• 42:27
Speaker 5: Do you know what a radical shift just that is?
• 42:31
Speaker 5: You don't know what happens when you lose, you know, 10% of the kids at a school, or 15%.
• 42:36
Speaker 5: So I'm saying all of this to say in the last four years, this massive shift is already taking place.
• 42:41
Speaker 5: We have over a thousand charter schools, you know, just in California, and in fact some of the largest ones are interested in the Britfield series and teaching it in the classrooms.
• 42:50
Speaker 5: But I'm just saying lots of things are happening.
• 42:53
Speaker 5: So, yeah, I mean like next year or two years from now, but it's already happening.
• 42:57
Speaker 5: And parents are yanking not pulling, but yanking their kids out of these institutions and finding ways.
• 43:03
Speaker 5: And homeschooling, too, is a hybrid model.
• 43:05
Speaker 5: It's like you can drop your kids off at a homeschool school or a cross-collaboration of a charter school.
• 43:11
Speaker 5: It's not like the lone parent that has to stay home teaching their one kid.
• 43:15
Speaker 5: You know reading and mathematics.
• 43:16
Speaker 5: That's not it at all.
• 43:17
Speaker 5: You know, I don't know, maybe 20 years ago, so, but I'll stop there.
• 43:20
Speaker 3: Yeah, my, my, my point was, with the moves that President Trump is making with school choice, Right Is being a huge part of it.
• 43:28
Speaker 3: And then this discussion about you know dissolving the Department of Education.
• 43:31
Speaker 3: Where do you see the impact of that in?
• 43:36
Speaker 3: In its immediacy, Like where what you know in the days immediately following the you know dissolving the Department of Education?
• 43:42
Speaker 3: What's the immediate impact?
• 43:45
Speaker 5: Yeah, and that's a good question and yeah, it's kind of an intense question.
• 43:48
Speaker 5: I kind of see what's going to happen is that it'll be the way that it should be, in the sense that it's no longer a government mandate but it's a state by state mandate, and it will come from there and it will start to divide and shift and some of the public systems will still sort of tug along with their, if you will, corruption and agendas, but they won't stick anymore and the money won't be there to fund it anymore.
• 44:11
Speaker 5: And now, with Trump in office, I just think you're going to see it's already happening, this sort of aggressiveness, for all of us too, as a nation.
• 44:17
Speaker 5: I mean, it's really been by God's grace that these, most of these people are still walking the streets, because it was, in my opinion, it was God's grace, it was holding people like myself and millions of others back from these hyenas and these parasites that have been hindering our children, to say the very least, if that makes sense.
• 44:35
Speaker 5: And so it's not going to go very well for them over the next six to 12 months to 18 months.
• 44:40
Speaker 5: The stuff that they've been doing teaching, pushing their days are numbered, I mean, I'm saying this their days are numbered and they're not going to be hiding behind any group or organization.
• 44:52
Speaker 5: You'll be physically yanked out of there, trust me, and that's coming, that is coming.
• 44:55
Speaker 5: So that's my opinion.
• 44:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it.
• 44:59
Speaker 2: I'm so thrilled to witness this shift and it's such a relief again with the grandkids and watching them grow up and seeing them, you know, now coming into a more reasonable world here, where the balance has been restored right, where common sense has come back and there's boys and there's girls.
• 45:21
Speaker 5: Right, exactly, okay, okay, so let's stop this nonsense, this satanic nonsense, dear goodness yeah yeah, absolutely, chad.
• 45:29
Speaker 2: it has been such a joy to have you on and I'm so excited to read these books and and even if and I just want you to know even if you said they're really only geared towards, I'd still read, read them.
• 45:40
Speaker 2: So, and I'm in, you know, and I think that's important for everyone to hear, that's watching and listening Um, not just for kids and, and we all know, you know, adults are obsessed with the Harry Potter books.
• 45:50
Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
• 45:51
Speaker 2: So it's, you know, it's, it doesn't even matter.
• 45:53
Speaker 2: So I'm really excited for it.
• 45:54
Speaker 2: I'm excited for all of the things that you have coming up for, the for the series as well.
• 45:59
Speaker 2: Could you do us all a favor?
• 46:00
Speaker 2: Tell everyone where they can find you, where they can find your books, if you're going to be doing any more appearances anywhere, give them, give them the whole deal.
• 46:07
Speaker 2: That would be wonderful.
• 46:08
  Speaker 5: I appreciate that.
• 46:09
Speaker 5: It's funny too, because the Narnia series was actually written for adults.
• 46:13
Speaker 5: That became one of the best serving.
• 46:15
Speaker 5: I mean, that's what Lewis wanted to do.
• 46:16
Speaker 5: He was so fascinated with that sort of fiction.
• 46:19
Speaker 5: And he goes I want to write it for adults.
• 46:20
Speaker 5: And I remember too, I was in England and I think it was 2001, 2002, when the Harry Potter series was really taking heat and it was crazy.
• 46:29
Speaker 5: I was like dating this woman there and it's like all of her friends were reading it like late 20s, early 30s.
• 46:35
Speaker 5: I'm like, oh my gosh, what is this thing?
• 46:36
Speaker 5: But yeah, you could check out our website, britfieldcom B-R-I-T-F-I-E-L-D.
• 46:40
Speaker 5: It's an award winning website.
• 46:41
  Speaker 5: It's very dynamic, it's great.
• 46:43
Speaker 5: It really compliments, especially book one.
• 46:45
Speaker 5: It's got over 400 pictures of England, interactive maps.
• 46:47
Speaker 5: We've got an 83 page study guide based on academic standards.
• 46:50
Speaker 5: The books are meant and designed to be taught in the classroom or homeschool groups.
• 46:54
Speaker 5: And if you do order through the Britfield website, I'm still signing books and that's not going to that'll probably that's not going to happen much longer, because I'm just getting very, very busy and I'm transitioning and shifting.
• 47:03
Speaker 5: I mean we we actually launched the series in Britain of all things, in June of last year through a major distributor, which is exciting.
• 47:10
Speaker 5: I'll be there for the London book fair doing a three week tour throughout England.
• 47:12
Speaker 5: We've got an 18 month global tour that we're kicking off in March to not only promote the series, all four books, but the movie, and so I'll be in Britain.
• 47:20
Speaker 5: I'll be in Europe, eastern Europe, asia, south America so it's gonna be an exciting two years ahead of us.
• 47:26
Speaker 2: So yeah, it is.
• 47:27
Speaker 2: That is absolutely fantastic.
• 47:29
Speaker 2: Congratulations, that is just huge.
• 47:32
Speaker 2: It's so cool to see all of the things that are happening with that.
• 47:35
Speaker 2: And again, we thank you so much for coming on and chatting with us, and we'd love to have you back again and tell us when the next big step is going on.
• 47:44
Speaker 2: We'll keep everybody updated and informed and, of course, we'll put the links in the show notes for everybody.
• 47:50
Speaker 2: So, chad, thank you so much.
• 47:53
  Speaker 2: Who are you?
• 47:53
  Speaker 2: What's your name?
• 47:54
  Speaker 2: Clay Clay.
• 47:56
  Speaker 2: How?
• 47:57
Speaker 3: soon did I forget what the heck is going on?
• 48:00
Speaker 5: I've been replaced already All of a sudden, you just like go sleep.
• 48:03
  Speaker 5: You're off.
• 48:04
Speaker 3: Thanks for coming Chad.
• 48:05
Speaker 3: We appreciate it and, again, it's.
• 48:06
Speaker 3: It's always great to talk to another author and get a perspective on things, and you know.
• 48:11
Speaker 3: Congratulations on all your success now and continued success in the future.
• 48:14
Speaker 3: Thanks for being on the show.
• 48:16
  Speaker 5: All right, godspeed.
• 48:16
Speaker 5: Thank you for the honor.
• 48:17
  Speaker 5: Bye-bye, you're welcome.
• 48:17
  Speaker 5: Take care, godspeed.
• 48:18
Speaker 2: Thank you for the honor.
• 48:18
  Speaker 2: You're welcome.
• 48:18
  Speaker 2: Take care, thanks.
• 48:20
Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, poor Clay, poor Clay.
• 48:22
Speaker 2: You get someone new on here and I forget your name.
• 48:26
Speaker 2: And you know my husband always says I'm mean.
• 48:27
Speaker 2: I guess that just proved it to everybody.
• 48:31
Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, we talked about it, we touched on it with Chad and that is, you know, kind of the last thing that we're going to hit in this show is the DNC, just does not.
• 48:45
Speaker 2: it's so absurd to me and and I'm thrilled I am thrilled and we talked about this before we went on air I am thrilled that they don't learn, because that means after the four years we're going to get another four years.
• 48:58
Speaker 2: So you know, I say keep acting up, keep doing.
• 49:01
Speaker 2: You know stupid things like this guy, this clown, funny, funny gesture he's making there.
• 49:11
Speaker 2: I I feel like somebody else just got criticized for for doing that.
• 49:16
Speaker 2: But it's different, right, it's different yeah, he, so the entire thing.
• 49:21
Speaker 3: So they had their elections this past week, uh, in c and so that the new president I totally lost his name, so he is, you know he went after President Trump to get him impeached.
• 49:33
Speaker 3: Right, you know he's, he's, he's one of those.
• 49:37
Speaker 3: And then so in, you know, you just showed David Hogue who is what 24.
• 49:42
Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure he never graduated from high school, because I don't think so Super active after his school shooting incident.
• 49:50
Speaker 3: Um right, that truthfully has been revealed.
• 49:52
Speaker 3: He had no part in, no part of, wasn't near him, didn't see anything, he just was right.
• 49:58
Speaker 2: I think I heard I think somebody said even I don't know if it's true or not, so don't you know, bank on it, but I could swear something.
• 50:04
Speaker 2: I've heard that he wasn't even in school that day, like entirely possible, yeah, butly possible.
• 50:09
  Speaker 3: But he's manufactured.
• 50:10
  Speaker 3: He has been.
• 50:11
Speaker 3: Some of it is self.
• 50:13
Speaker 3: He was the kid that got grabbed fairly early and he's been promoted and propped up because he's a loud mouth and he's not afraid to talk in front of people.
• 50:20
Speaker 3: He really is an idiot, he's basically boy AOC.
• 50:26
Speaker 3: He's emblematic oh, by the way, she stuck her foot in her mouth this week too, um, big time.
• 50:31
Speaker 3: But he is emblematic.
• 50:32
Speaker 3: He is the you know, the personification of the dnc leadership and and again they're.
• 50:37
Speaker 3: You know, as they went through elections this week when they were electing you know people, they had so many rules that revolved around demographics.
• 50:47
Speaker 3: Know literally the guy standing up there and reading the election rules.
• 50:52
Speaker 3: It was a 10 minute and I'm not kidding when I say this.
• 50:54
Speaker 3: It was a 10 minute read, all of the rules.
• 50:57
Speaker 3: A lady got up and went to the bathroom and came back and he was still going through the instructions based on who could and could not be elected.
• 51:07
Speaker 3: You know, if we're electing three spots, it has to be, it can't be three.
• 51:11
Speaker 3: You know white men, white straight men, you know it can't be this, it can't be that.
• 51:17
Speaker 3: And if there is, then we're going to have to vote again.
• 51:19
Speaker 3: And you know, and we're going to read the first one, and if there's this set of demographics, then it only allows for these demographics and the next two and all this crazy stuff.
• 51:28
Speaker 3: They have not learned that meritocracy is where we're at right now.
• 51:34
Speaker 3: We just want people who are capable and competent, and when you do that, you get the best mix.
• 51:39
Speaker 3: When you don't rely on demographics to make your decisions for you, you get great demographics.
• 51:47
Speaker 2: Right, and, by the way, the the fastest, easiest proof of that is Donald J Trump's cabinet.
• 51:55
Speaker 2: You have an Indian American son of immigrants, right, kash Patel.
• 52:04
Speaker 2: You have Marco Rubio, son of immigrant parents.
• 52:09
Speaker 2: You have, I think, two you know off the top of my head two openly gay treasury.
• 52:18
  Speaker 2: I think it's the treasury.
• 52:19
Speaker 2: And who's the guy Grinnell that just brought back the envoy of, or just brought back like six Americans from I forget where?
• 52:28
Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, and you've got.
• 52:33
Speaker 3: You know Tulsi gabbard, who is islander, right, it's, it's all of that.
• 52:36
Speaker 3: His cabinet is what it is.
• 52:39
Speaker 3: It's, it is diverse.
• 52:41
Speaker 2: And not because he looked for diversity, he looked for the best, and the best just happened to be these other things.
• 52:49
Speaker 2: All of that was completely irrelevant.
• 52:52
Speaker 2: It was what are your qualifications, what are your abilities, what are your skills?
• 52:59
Speaker 3: The HHS is a woman, justice department's a woman, it's all there.
• 53:04
Speaker 2: Right, yeah, you got Christie gnome.
• 53:05
Speaker 2: You've got Pam Bondi.
• 53:06
  Speaker 2: You've got what's her name?
• 53:08
Speaker 2: Susie Wiles, first female chief of staff.
• 53:09
Speaker 2: Got Kristi Noem, you've got Pam Bondi.
• 53:10
  Speaker 2: You've got what's her name?
• 53:11
Speaker 2: Susie Wiles, right, first female chief of staff.
• 53:12
Speaker 2: So they can take all of their non-stents and shove it Yep.
• 53:16
Speaker 3: So and again and then.

Speaker 3: So then you have the reverse right.
• 53:19
Speaker 3: So you have AOC.
• 53:21
Speaker 3: This week you brought her up and I said she stuck her foot in her mouth and, whether people saw it or not, you know.
• 53:25
Speaker 3: She declared that Elon Musk was one of the most unintelligent billionaires that she's ever met.
• 53:33
Speaker 3: Now, I don't know how many billionaires she's ever met.
• 53:35
Speaker 3: I do know a couple of things.
• 53:37
Speaker 3: One the guy is a genius.
• 53:40
  Speaker 2: Genius yeah.
• 53:41
  Speaker 3: Brilliant.
• 53:41
Speaker 3: I also know and he has said this outwardly this isn't Clay making a statement, this is coming from Elon Musk.
• 53:47
Speaker 3: He is on the spectrum.
• 53:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, I caught that as well in her statement that it was kind of like isn't clay making a statement?
• 53:49
Speaker 2: This is coming from elon musk.
• 53:49
Speaker 2: He is on the spectrum.
• 53:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know I caught that as well in her statement, that it was kind of like whoa.
• 53:54
Speaker 3: So she basically violated every eo rule and law and norm that they've been mandating over the last four years, plus that you have to be sensitive and you can't talk down to people, and you got to do that and take in all this stuff into consideration and she basically called a guy who's autistic, dumb yeah, right, yeah, and, and and she's.
• 54:16
  Speaker 3: So.
• 54:17
Speaker 3: She is truthfully so stupid that she doesn't even realize she did it and she doesn't even realize the hypocrisy she stepped in.
• 54:25
Speaker 3: Um oh, by the way, did you know she has an economics degree?
• 54:30
Speaker 2: yeah, I think I did read that somewhere.
• 54:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, that is whoever gave her that.
• 54:35
Speaker 3: Like she, she should turn the sheepskin back in.
• 54:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, we fund her money.
• 54:40
Speaker 3: If I I think she went to northeastern, I would be so embarrassed if I was at university that she has an economics degree because she's so unbelievably uninformed about everything relating to economics.
• 54:53
  Speaker 3: It's unbelievable.
• 54:54
Speaker 2: And she still talks like a teenager.
• 54:57
Speaker 3: She talks like a bartender.
• 54:59
  Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right 22-year-old bartender.
• 55:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, she still talks in that 22-year-old vernacular where every other word is like.
• 55:06
Speaker 2: And you know, even in that statement it was like he's like and like and like and he's like.
• 55:12
Speaker 2: So don't like replay this for yourself later, kid, because it's not good, it's embarrassing.
• 55:19
Speaker 2: Yeah, but again I will say one more time keep, keep it up, guys.
• 55:25
Speaker 2: You keep doing the same things, just please.
• 55:31
Speaker 2: Make it easier, right yeah.
• 55:35
Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, it's going to help in two years.
• 55:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, it is, it is.
• 55:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's going to help in two years.
• 55:39
Speaker 3: Yeah, so listen that, hey, first interview, first interview on the show, yeah, so we told you all, we told so, we told you all, we told you all it was coming and we've got more coming and you know it's busy and it's not slowing down.
• 55:55
Speaker 3: Right, 16 days in will be, will be you know, three weeks or so, a little over three weeks, by the time we record again.
• 56:02
Speaker 3: Yeah, and we'll listen.
• 56:05
Speaker 3: We thought we were a little worried, I think, you and I, you know, after the election, that things were going to, we're going to slow down.
• 56:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, boy, we even remotely couldn't be.
• 56:17
  Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like.
• 56:17
  Speaker 2: It's not like.
• 56:18
Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, what are we going to talk about?
• 56:20
Speaker 2: It's how many things can we fit in?
• 56:22
Speaker 2: How many things can we cram in here to talk about?
• 56:24
Speaker 2: Because there's so much.
• 56:25
Speaker 2: And of course, you know, as as you all well know, there are things that we haven't even talked about because there's so much we're waiting.
• 56:33
Speaker 2: I think we're going to find out this week, maybe even by the time this airs tomorrow, about RFK Jr, Right or no?
• 56:43
Speaker 3: It should, so he came out of committee.
• 56:45
  Speaker 2: Yes, him.
• 56:46
Speaker 2: He came out and Tulsi also.
• 56:48
Speaker 3: Tulsi came out of committee.
• 56:49
Speaker 3: Kash Patel has not yet made it out of committee, so him, he came out of committee and Tulsi also.
• 56:53
Speaker 3: Tulsi came out of committee.
• 56:53
Speaker 3: Kash Patel has not yet made it out of committee.
• 56:57
Speaker 3: But yeah, I would assume, by maybe the time this airs on Thursday night or by the end of the week, I would assume know where they sit and I'm going to guess at least one of those three and it may end up being all three that Vice President Vance is going to have to get involved again.
• 57:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, he better hurry up.
• 57:10
Speaker 2: But what happened last time?
• 57:11
Speaker 2: He had to hurry up and throw a suit on and basically literally run down there and get there.
• 57:16
Speaker 2: Just keep the suit on and be ready, just be ready, get your butt down there and do what you got to do to make it.
• 57:22
Speaker 3: He knows how to do that Stay in uniform.
• 57:24
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly, he's awesome, he's awesome, he's awesome.
• 57:26
  Speaker 2: That's another thing.
• 57:27
Speaker 2: I wish we had more time.
• 57:28
Speaker 2: I would love to talk about him for a few minutes, but yeah, oh, my goodness, just they're all doing a great job.
