- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: Now.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: time to move on in the Jaguar has moved on a couple days ago preparing for the Seattle Seahawks.

- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know what you're feeling for this Jaguar Seahawks game here in week six.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: Unbelievable, Marty, and week six, but saw the giants take down the Eagles last night.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: Cam's Scadaboo going crazy, ripping off the shirt.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: With Ryan Fitzmagic, after the game fun stuff, but we're here again to talk about your Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: The Seahawks are three and two coming off at pretty devastating, heartbreaking, I guess.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: You should say defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35 to 38.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: The Jags are four and one.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: They have one.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: three straight ball games over the Texans, 49ers, and Chiefs.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars are one and a half point home favorites.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now, looking at the Seahawks, they're enjoying a ton of offensive success.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: With offensive coordinator, Kubiak obviously son of coaching legend, Gary Kubiak, one of the architects of the,
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: Shanahan, style offense, Kubex style offense.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: If you will, obviously Mike Shanahan, the originator there, Gary Kubeyak was with him a long time.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: So Kubeyak, you get a lot of play action, you get a lot of quick timing based stuff.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: You can also take some shots down the field with that play action.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: some zone running as well is going to be prevalent for the seahawks.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: You have your new quarterback in Sam Darnold who buy every statistical measure and by the I test is playing unbelievable football right now for the Seattle seahawks.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: A dominant version of Jackson Smith in Jigba has emerged in year three.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: He's playing as well as any receiver in football right now.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: Cooper Cup.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: still playing very good football, still a guy that can get the job done as a receiver, but also extremely smart, extremely tough, great blocker, somebody that, you know, Liam Cohen was talking about, he almost named his son Cooper after Cooper Cup, he thinks that highly of him.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: Rookie stand out receiver Tory Horton at a Colorado State, who I was a huge fan of in the draft.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: Two talented running backs, obviously you got Zack Sharbinay as your
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: Kind of one B, and you got Kenneth Walker as your one A, two talented Titans, AJ Barner, Elijah Arroyo, another player I was extremely high on in the draft this year, he is a talent man.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: He absolutely is an offensive line that is mostly getting the job done.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: Again, in this zone scheme play action based offense.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: They're going scorched Earth on a lot of teams.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they're impressive right now.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: The running game took a little bit to get going, but it's going pretty well.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: The passing game has been money most of the year.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's an impressive group.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: Defensively injuries, though, are taking their toll.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: After a red hot start on defense, injuries have, excuse me, injuries have,
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: slow them down right.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: They're now averaging over the last two games 29 points per game allowed including 38 points last week to the buck and heirs.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: They have some defenders who have yet to practice this week as of Friday morning.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: Joy and love.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: One of the guys that I just thought was so, so underrated when he was with the New York Giants.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: And he's been with Seattle for a few years now and he's a really damn good player.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: He has yet to practice this week.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: Devon witherspoon has yet to practice this week.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's one of the heart and soul type of players for this defense on the back end.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: So you're talking about those two guys and he's still got to Rick Wolin trying to make it back from concussion protocol.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: He has been limited in practice, but
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: That'll be one to monitor as well.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: Starting linebacker Ernest Jones has not practiced yet.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: This week, he is another glue type of player for them.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: Very important player in this defense.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: And then Derek Hall is a really...
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: feisty fire explosive young edge defender for them too so they've got a lot of injuries they're dealing with now it looks like the Marcus Lawrence is on his way back he fully participated in practice on Thursday so that's good news for the seahawks and their defensive front and speaking of that defensive front you know Mike McDonald their head coach he's kind of the mastermind the architect
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: And even with these injuries, they do have a good defensive front Leonard Williams has been one of the best players in the NFL over the last couple years up front Byron Murphy and extremely talented youngster.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: Now the Jaguars have found different ways to win throughout this season.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: One of them is forcing turnovers.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: They're leading the NFL and turnovers forced.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: They punch the ball out every time they get to the ball.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: They tip the ball at the line of scrimmage.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: They pick it off in an extremely high rate, baiting quarterbacks into making decisions that they should not.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: You saw that most recently against Patrick Mahomes in the Kansas City Chiefs, Devon Lloyd looking like he's gonna come in on a blitz, quickly backtracks,
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick Mahomes, unscathed look, not ready for it.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: Devon Lloyd picks it off in the rest of his history.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: 99 yards to the house after making Patrick Mahomes, flop on a deck like a fish, after breaking tackles, after guys out there blocking form, 99 yards to the house, longest regular season, landbacker return in a very, very long time.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: They forced 14 turnovers.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars have five games, 14 turnovers.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's 2.8 turnovers per game for your Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: Defensively, they want to bounce back from an outing in which, you know, Patrick Mahomes through the ball all over the yard, ran the ball all over the yard.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: The chiefs really, they did a lot of RPOs.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: They did a lot of read option type stuff.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: More RPOs, but a little read option mixed in there as well.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think that that is partially to blame for the jaguar's issues.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: But look, the jaguar's tackling should not be an issue for this football team.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: It was a little bit on Monday night.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Rushing the passer should not be an issue for this football team.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: It was a little bit on Monday night.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: They were one of the best run defenses and pressure units and football prior to week five.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: They need to get back to that form.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: They need to bounce back in a big way and disrupt what Sam Donalds got going on back there and slow down Kenneth Walker and Zack Sharbanay.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: Trayvon Walker's ability.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: or excuse me availability, is going to be huge.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be absolutely huge in this one.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: If he's there for the Jack Wars, he's going to help them push that pocket.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to help disrupt and create that depth that they thought they had when they signed a one-smooth in the manual logbook and Dennis Gardek and all these guys.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: They need to try to walk her out there if they're going to be at their best, everybody does.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: And then you've got Greg Newsom, who the Jack Wars just traded for, if Newsom isn't available yet, you would expect Travis Hunter to have a huge defensive workload and he's been playing excellent football in the defensive side.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: But I suspect Newsom will play.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: I suspect he'll play, I don't know that he'll start, I don't know that he'll be out there the entire game, but I think he's going to suit up.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you're gonna see a combination and all likelihood of Buster Brown, Greg Newsom, Travis Hunter playing outside corner, Jordan Lewis doing a little bit of that, but mostly being in the nickel.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: All right, that's pretty good group in my opinion.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: Greg Newsom, as I've talked to y'all about, I think he's a very good fit here in Jacksonville,
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: Offensively for the Jack Wars, the passing game came together a little bit.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: in week five with Trevor Lawrence, Brian Thomas, Jr., and Travis Hunter, all having good outings against the chiefs, Trevor Lawrence, he got it going through the air, some huge, big, big, big time throws in clutch moments.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: But he also got it going with his legs this past week, and that's gonna be an interesting potential trend to monitor for him.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: He has been much better throughout his career when he gets it going with his mobility and athleticism.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: No Britain strange for the next month or so is a bummer for the Jack Wars, the Titan.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: have been playing great football for them, but the Jaguars do have strong tight in depth and they have guys that have been playing this year already when you look at Hunter Long, Johnny Month and Quentin Morris has a lot of experience in the NFL too.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: He had been getting called up just about every week for the Jaguars and then they actually ended up signing him to the active roster.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: Robert Hainesy, one to monitor the Jaguar Center, a team captain, he might miss this week with a hamstring, he has not practiced yet, so that's got a closely monitor.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: His health status of this game, imagine he'll definitely be questionable at the very least.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: Jonah Monheim, filled in admirably for him in week five, the rookie at a USC, but starting a game, which the other team has scouted you a lot more against this Seahawk team.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: it could be up to it.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: We'll have to find out.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully we don't have to find out.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: But if Robert Hainesy can't go, you certainly will see a gentleman on high-mout there.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar special teams have gotten the ball rolling lately after an impressive performance from the kickers, returners, and cover units.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: You saw some highs and lows in week four against the 49ers, but it was mostly on the up and up against the chiefs.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: Seattle is allowing the second worst starting field position in the league and almost the 30 yard line.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: So the Jaguars should have an opportunity.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: have some good feel position in this one.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: They've already allowed a punt return touchdown and you've seen Parker Washington get that punt return touchdown already so that's something to keep an eye on.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: Former Jaguar's Kicker Jason Myers has been the Seahawks Kicker for seven years now.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: And he is 75% on the season.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: He's nine of 12.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's missed one kick from 30 to 39.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's missed one from 40 to 49 yards.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: And he's missed one from 50 and out.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: So he's kind of been missing all over the place a little bit so far, nine of 12, 75%.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: The Seahawks have the NFL's highest paid punner, Michael Dixon, but his net punning has been down this year, under 40 yards due to coverage issues and due to that.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: big punt return touchdown as well.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: This is a bout between two teams that appear to be on the up and up appear to be on the rise, but who is ready to win in week six?
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars are at home, the Seahawks traveling across the country.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: We will find out this Sunday at the bank, one PM, hopefully all will be there.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate you being here.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all have a good one.
