  Speaker 1: And it's a shift I want you to make around

  Speaker 1: your asking. I want you to ask what the confidence
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: and conviction of a seven year old. I'll tell you
• 0:24
  Speaker 1: where this came from quickly. My niece just turned seven,
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: and leading up to her birthday, if anybody asked her
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: for what asked her what she wanted, she would say,
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: I want an iPhone sixteen and one hundred dollar bill.
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: And one parent asked her and she said this, and
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: the parent was like, oh, well, I'll get you something,
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: and the woman minded up giving her fifty dollars. So
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: by the end of my niece's birthday weekend, she had
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: two hundred dollars and she says to her mom, I'm
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: gonna go buy myself an iPhone, and my sister in
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: law says, well, you know those costs like a thousand dollars,
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: and so then my niece just says, okay, well, now
• 1:18
  Speaker 1: I'm going to go ask for a thousand dollars. And
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: the story is such a testament for how we as
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: a grown ups need to ask. Did you think about
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: a seven year old doesn't have resources, she doesn't have
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: a job, she doesn't have any limitations or lack. She
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: just has to rely on somebody giving it to her, right,
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: and so all she can do is ask, and she
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: does it in such a way in which she winds
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: up with what she wants. And in terms of the phone,
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: I think the only reason why that one hasn't come
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: through yet for her last year, her mom said, okay,
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: you have to learn to read, and you know, understand
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: the folly, right, And so my my niece has like
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: steadily learned to read, and it is shocking me how
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: well she reads now. And then I think it's just
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: an any energy that might be blocking, that's just her
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: parents have not fully wrapped their heads around like what
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: does this look like, you know, in terms of a phone? Right,
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: But yeah, she keeps asking and she will receive it.
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know, I can almost guarantee
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: you that if nothing else in terms of cash money,
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: she will have enough money to buy herself a phone
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: by the end of this holiday season. Trust me on
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: that one. And that is because if you ever watch
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: a child ask for something that they want. They're not careful,
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: they're not strategic, they're not embarrassed. They don't soften their desire.

  Speaker 1: They don't try to explain why they deserve it, they
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: don't talk themselves out of it. They just ask, and
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: they ask with full expectation. They ask assuming the answer
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: will be yes, that someone is listening to them, and
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: that the world is responsive to their desires. So somewhere
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: along the way, most of us unlearn that understandably. We
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: learn to work to get our desires, to the point
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: where what I've seen a lot in session this year
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: is people can't even ask for what they want until
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: their mind has come up with a plan on how
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: they need to get it. We justify. We try to
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: tell ourselves, well, if this goes this way and then
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: this way, then I get to have this right. We
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: ask in ways that are small, or safe, or less direct.
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: We learn to ask if instead of what, and our
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: curiosity is replaced with trying to control outcomes. Our openness
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: is replaced with protecting ourselves from getting hurt. Yeah, it's
• 4:17
  Speaker 1: a bummer when there's something that we really wanted in
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: our lifetime and we didn't get it, but it's not
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: an invitation to stop asking. So open your heart, tap
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: into your inner seven year old. Remember that there's only
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: lack if you believe there's lack. Assume that the answer
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: is going to be yes, that what you want is available,
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: that it's okay to have what you want, and that
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: you don't need permission. You just need to ask, and
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: then you'll start to see that energy really starts to
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: move in your favor. So instead of asking questions like
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: why isn't it working or what's wrong with me? Or
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: when will it finally happen? Just ask yourself what am
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: I available for right now? What wants to come through
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: next for me? What is the easiest way that this
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: could unfold? And envision that end result? Be in that
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: end result. And the more receptive you are energetically meaning open, willing, confident,
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: ask with conviction, the easier it is for your desire
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: to flow to you. So a seven year old doesn't
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: tense up when they ask for what they want, and
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: we don't want them to. We want them to keep
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: that openness for as long as possible. We want them
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: to have everything that they want. When I look at her,
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: I'm like I just want her to have everything that
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: she wants for our highest and greatest good, of course, right,
• 6:02
  Speaker 1: and so I want all of us to want that
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: same for ourselves that we want for ourselves to have
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: what we want that is for our highest and greatest good.
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: So relax, open up, expect the best possible outcome. Ask
• 6:22
  Speaker 1: with conviction for what you want, and you just have
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: to be open. You just have to be open, and
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: you'll get a thought, you'll get a nudge, a message
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: from someone else, you'll get something that just shows up.

  Speaker 1: And again, you don't have to control, you don't have
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: to do anything fancy. You just need to start with
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: asking with confidence, asking with conviction. Now, if you want
