- 1:28Speaker 1: was my favorite episode of What's Good. Y'all had me rolling.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Thanks for the good time love it yo? Oh, I
- 1:36Speaker 1: was real unhinged? Yeah episode if I remember so? Yeah?

- 1:44Speaker 1: Megan and Wendy. We will leave a link in the
- 1:47Speaker 1: show notes too. That's right, let's talk the way to you.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I bet you have a synopsis. I do. New Yorkers
- 1:55Speaker 1: Emma and Conrad agree to help each other find their
- 1:58Speaker 1: missed connections after subway blackout. Their search might lead to love,
- 2:03Speaker 1: but not where either of them expects to find it.
- 2:06Speaker 1: If I may please, this synopsis is wrong. They don't
- 2:11Speaker 1: help each other find their misconnections. We never see Emma's
- 2:14Speaker 1: dude again after he leaves. You're right, Conrad doesn't help
- 2:18Speaker 1: her track that. Y're right. Honestly, I completely forgot about
- 2:23Speaker 1: her dude. Yeah. Why do they even talk about it? Like?
- 2:27Speaker 1: Does she ever even or is it just like, oh,
- 2:29Speaker 1: that was a nice moment. I can't remember. I don't
- 2:33Speaker 1: think she was, yeah, I can't. Like she sees the
- 2:36Speaker 1: message from Conrad, she assumes that's her dude, and then
- 2:39Speaker 1: once she realizes it isn't, she decides to not continue
- 2:43Speaker 1: to look for him, but she helps Conrad look for
- 2:45Speaker 1: his girl. Correct. Yeah wow, I was so absorbed by
- 2:49Speaker 1: this movie I completely ignored that detail. You are correct.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Norma Bailey directed The Way to You. Norma has a
- 2:56Speaker 1: deep resume of directing credits, including finale episodes from season
- 3:01Speaker 1: one and three of the Way Home and most recently,
- 3:04Speaker 1: Love on the Danube Royal Getaway. I'm doing like that
- 3:08Speaker 1: fingerclap right now. You know what I'm talking about. I
- 3:10Speaker 1: do that like the clocket exactly, Norma Bailey. Let's get
- 3:16Speaker 1: more movies from Norma Bailey. Oh my gosh. Well, when
- 3:20Speaker 1: I had read, I was like, oh wait, she did
- 3:22Speaker 1: the finale episodes of one and three. Hello, those were great.
- 3:27Speaker 1: See you recall us sobbing through the finale recording. Yep,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I cannot wait until season four. I need Hallmark to
- 3:36Speaker 1: tell us when is that coming? Exactly? Give it to us. Yep,
- 3:41Speaker 1: I need the date. The script comes from Nicole Baxter,
- 3:44Speaker 1: who wrote recently Adventures in Love and Birding, An Unexpected Valentine,
- 3:50Speaker 1: Blind Date, book Club, and the Presence of Love, just
- 3:52Speaker 1: to name a few of her twenty four writing credits. Again,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I'm doing that little clap right. What a dream team
- 3:58Speaker 1: these two were. It's so funny because I'm like Oh, yes,
- 4:02Speaker 1: we reviewed all those movies. All those movies were great.
- 4:06Speaker 1: But Nicole Baxter isn't a name that I'm gonna like
- 4:09Speaker 1: pull out and be like, that's a movie out like
- 4:11Speaker 1: a Julie Sherman Wolf, you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 4:13Speaker 1: but I think we're head of that direction, absolute freaking lutely,
- 4:16Speaker 1: and I'm like, I'm a little bit embarrassed. She's got
- 4:18Speaker 1: twenty four writing credits and I'm now just like clocking
- 4:21Speaker 1: it that I like her as a screenwriter. Yes, I
- 4:24Speaker 1: one hundred percent agree with what you're saying, but we
- 4:26Speaker 1: are going to give Norma and Nicole their due in
- 4:29Speaker 1: this episode. I think I think so too. Speaking of
- 4:32Speaker 1: giving someone their due, let's talk Kim Matula, who stars
- 4:35Speaker 1: as Emma. We last saw Kim on Hallmark in The
- 4:38Speaker 1: Finish Line in twenty twenty four. Since then, she co
- 4:41Speaker 1: started the movie Saturday Night, and she will appear as
- 4:43Speaker 1: Nadia in season two of The Hunting Wives. Very NSFW
- 4:48Speaker 1: content over there on The Hunting Wives? Did you watch
- 4:51Speaker 1: that show? Parts of it? I actually don't really like it.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry, interesting, I know it was going cult phenomenon.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I watched it too. I really liked the beginning of
- 5:00Speaker 1: it and then it just gets real. I don't not
- 5:04Speaker 1: for me, I guess, and I like weird things. Yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 1: I don't know what it was. It just didn't hit
- 5:09Speaker 1: for me. But that being said, it is a big
- 5:12Speaker 1: get for kim Matula because that show popped off. Yeah,
- 5:16Speaker 1: people are gonna be very excited about a season two. Yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Aaron O'Connell stars as Conrad. Aaron has nineteen acting credits,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and we last saw him in the twenty twenty four
- 5:24Speaker 1: Hallmark movie June Bug. Sarah Luby appears as Hazel. You
- 5:28Speaker 1: might recognize her from Autumn at Apple Hill from twenty
- 5:31Speaker 1: twenty four, and now I have to ask you, do
- 5:33Speaker 1: you recognize her from automat Apple Hill? I don't, but
- 5:37Speaker 1: I liked her in this. She was like the girl
- 5:40Speaker 1: that worked in the hotel too, who was like, why
- 5:42Speaker 1: don't we move from like a paper ledger into a
- 5:46Speaker 1: computer system? She just was real funny and then she
- 5:49Speaker 1: like had a crush on like the romance. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Are you sitting outside? I hear birds? I'm not, but
- 5:57Speaker 1: the doors open here, hold on, let me close it.
- 5:58Speaker 1: It felt like you got had your own like snow
- 6:00Speaker 1: White situation up me there. I was like, I was
- 6:03Speaker 1: hoping to avoid my dog, who is sound asleep, but
- 6:06Speaker 1: will no doubt decide he wants to go out as
- 6:08Speaker 1: soon as I'm all hooked up. Eugene Buffo appears as Sid.
- 6:12Speaker 1: This marks his seventeenth acting credit, but he has been
- 6:14Speaker 1: on Hallmark before in Crashing Through the Snow and A
- 6:18Speaker 1: New Year's Resolution. If You Know You Know. Jacob Blair
- 6:22Speaker 1: appears as Aarin. He's previously appeared in several Hallmark projects
- 6:26Speaker 1: like Following Yonder Star, Holiday Hotline and A Winter Getaway.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Chelsea Brown plays Some Moon. This is just her second
- 6:34Speaker 1: Homemark appearance. She previously was part of an Unexpected Valentine.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Ryan Ma appears as Lance. This is his thirty ninth
- 6:42Speaker 1: acting credit and was last on Hallmark in Holiday Road
- 6:45Speaker 1: from twenty twenty three. This movie had the working title
- 6:49Speaker 1: Finding My Connection. Let's take a quick break and we'll
- 6:53Speaker 1: come right back with our first impressions. Hey, Wendy, what
- 7:04Speaker 1: was your first impression of the way to you? God?
- 7:07Speaker 1: I hope this lands. I'm looking for a man in
- 7:10Speaker 1: finness trust fun six' five blue eyes. Finance do you
- 7:17Speaker 1: know that? Right it's my? Dad to see. THAT i
- 7:19Speaker 1: absolutely know.
- 7:21Speaker 2: That, yes, good, good, Good well.
- 7:24Speaker 1: This is gonna. Fall we're all. Flat my first impression
- 7:26Speaker 1: is DO i need to Read The count Of Monte. Cristo,
- 7:29Speaker 1: OH i thought that. Too i've never read. It it's a.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Classic i've never read. IT i. Couldn't MAYBE i. Will
- 7:36Speaker 1: they loved. IT i, mean coming to a pop culture
- 7:39Speaker 1: club near. You if you're a, PON i, think do
- 7:43Speaker 1: we need to start a book club over On? Patreon
- 7:47Speaker 1: well that's interesting because there were two things that made me.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Think one one of The valentine movies that were. Reviewing
- 7:56Speaker 1: our friend are over At Deer homemark recently shared that
- 7:59Speaker 1: the Book The Scene ingredient by the Writer Nancy, nagel
- 8:02Speaker 1: which is the book that the Movie The Secret ingredient
- 8:06Speaker 1: was based, on was a kindle deal of the, day
- 8:09Speaker 1: AND i was, like, oh, hey we're reviewing. That i'm
- 8:11Speaker 1: GONNA i didn't realize it was a book because i'ven't
- 8:13Speaker 1: looked into that movie yet at. All i'm going to
- 8:16Speaker 1: attempt to read. THAT i ended up downloading the audiobook
- 8:18Speaker 1: it's on my phone right now In, libby AND i was, like,
- 8:22Speaker 1: oh that would be a fun companion. Piece. Huh and
- 8:27Speaker 1: THEN i, thought you AND i have talked behind the
- 8:30Speaker 1: scenes about maybe doing this Series Margo's Got Money trouble
- 8:34Speaker 1: reviewing that because that'll be an episodic release On APPLE Tv.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Plus and that was based on the book that people
- 8:39Speaker 1: went crazy. For AND i, thought, well is there a
- 8:43Speaker 1: companion piece to be done there as? Well, wow we'll
- 8:49Speaker 1: have to figure it. Out let's talk what we liked
- 8:53Speaker 1: about The way To You Strong opener To Love You
- 8:55Speaker 1: barry m. Hmmm and WAS i was a little worried
- 8:59Speaker 1: BECAUSE i Thought january was so, good you, know for
- 9:02Speaker 1: the most, part AND i was, like can they continue this?
- 9:06Speaker 1: Streak AND i think they. Did this MOVIE i thought
- 9:10Speaker 1: was really good, overall like a strong, premise confident. TONE
- 9:14Speaker 1: i had this like real movie rom con yes rhythm
- 9:17Speaker 1: THAT i really. Enjoyed, yeah it's funny that you say,
- 9:21Speaker 1: that BECAUSE i finished watching this and THEN i had
- 9:22Speaker 1: to get in my car and go, somewhere AND i
- 9:23Speaker 1: was thinking to. MYSELF i was, like, Man hombark's just
- 9:26Speaker 1: knocking it out of the. Park, HONESTLY i THINK i
- 9:29Speaker 1: feel like twenty twenty, five everyone spent the whole year going, like,
- 9:32Speaker 1: oh what's? Happened. RIGHT i, mean there were some good,
- 9:35Speaker 1: movies but it was a rough, year AND i just
- 9:37Speaker 1: feel like they're just like bam bam, bam strong. Movies,
- 9:43Speaker 1: yeah strong. Movies, look when we talked about our wishes
- 9:48Speaker 1: in our First impression episode we did For, february which
- 9:51Speaker 1: if you haven't, listened go give that a, LISTEN i,
- 9:54Speaker 1: said my number one wish about this movie was make
- 9:56Speaker 1: it feel Like New. York, Eh and for, me they.
- 10:01Speaker 1: DELIVERED i, agree this was shot In, winnipeg and there's
- 10:08Speaker 1: one minor exception That i'll talk about, later BUT i
- 10:10Speaker 1: felt like the combination there was a heavy dose Of
- 10:13Speaker 1: New York city b, roll some light green, screening but
- 10:17Speaker 1: lots of nice set decorating in terms of subway entrances
- 10:21Speaker 1: THAT i thought really gave this movie a Strong New york.
- 10:27Speaker 1: FEEL i never saw a green. Screen i'm so interested
- 10:30Speaker 1: to hear where you. Thought you, said, WELL i thought
- 10:33Speaker 1: maybe in the final scene when they pull back and
- 10:36Speaker 1: you can see the, SKYLINE i thought there may have
- 10:39Speaker 1: been some green screen. Elements okay in. There it didn't
- 10:43Speaker 1: look like a green, screen. THOUGH i just, thought, oh
- 10:45Speaker 1: you can see those. Buildings that's got to be Not.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Winnipeg but maybe it. Is it wasn't a waterfall that
- 10:53Speaker 1: it was. Not, okay, well let me tell you something
- 10:58Speaker 1: to the, listeners APPARENTLY i really like to eat. Crow
- 11:03Speaker 1: in my first, IMPRESSIONS i was pooh Pooing aaron O'Connell
- 11:09Speaker 1: a little, bit uh, huh like not being a Standout hallmark.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Dude that is, Remarkable AND i take that all. BACK
- 11:20Speaker 1: i was immediately drawn in By aaron As. CONRAD i
- 11:25Speaker 1: thought he was, charming like the character Of conrad was
- 11:29Speaker 1: like charming but not, smug, smart good, chemistry like he
- 11:34Speaker 1: felt like a real nice guy THAT i was attracted
- 11:38Speaker 1: to rooting for the entire. Time let me talk about
- 11:42Speaker 1: that for a, second IF i may, So Kim matula
- 11:46Speaker 1: And aaron O'Connell together sneaky good chemistry. HERE i thought
- 11:49Speaker 1: they were fan frea. Fantastic their dynamic felt it felt so.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Real it was like conversational and easy and and And
- 12:00Speaker 1: in my, NOTES i was, LIKE i, wrote these two
- 12:02Speaker 1: are so easy to root. For, Mmmm LIKE i didn't
- 12:06Speaker 1: care about those other the other two meet cutes that
- 12:09Speaker 1: they had on the. SUBWAY i was, Like, oh this is.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It i'm into this this. DUO i use the word
- 12:17Speaker 1: Yearning like these two made me feel like they were
- 12:20Speaker 1: yearning for each. Other and there's no contrived conflict in this,
- 12:26Speaker 1: movie WHICH i. Loved there was nothing for me to
- 12:28Speaker 1: have to be, LIKE i gotta get over that real
- 12:30Speaker 1: fast so they can get back together at the. End
- 12:31Speaker 1: there was none of. THAT i. Agree they just you,
- 12:34Speaker 1: know she was trying to let him find his own,
- 12:37Speaker 1: person and they just OH. I there are so many
- 12:41Speaker 1: scenes where you can tell that they want to tell
- 12:44Speaker 1: the other one how they're, feeling but they just don't do.
- 12:46Speaker 1: It AND i was believe in it me, Too and
- 12:50Speaker 1: that's that's what makes for a good, movie when you're
- 12:53Speaker 1: sitting on your couch at home on a you, Know saturday,
- 12:57Speaker 1: night and you're, like tell, him, yes, Yes. Yeah they
- 13:06Speaker 1: did that really. Well speaking Of emma Kim matula's, character
- 13:13Speaker 1: the scene where she she stumbles Upon simon yes bar
- 13:18Speaker 1: and realizes it's her and THEN i, thought oh, no oh,
- 13:22Speaker 1: no here it. Is but you know what queen. Behavior
- 13:25Speaker 1: she no. Manipulation she just goes back and goes there she.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Is and that's what Made emma super likable to, Me
- 13:33Speaker 1: like if she would have went the other way and was, like,
- 13:35Speaker 1: Oh i'm not going to tell, him and then that
- 13:37Speaker 1: unfolds into like WHAT i expected it. To this was so.
- 13:43Speaker 1: REFRESHING i agree with, you she puts the ball in his.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Court but the thing to me about that, scene the
- 13:51Speaker 1: wordless acting she, does where she clearly has an internal
- 13:54Speaker 1: conflict about telling him about ending this moment that they're
- 13:58Speaker 1: having and she kind of like physically is fighting with
- 14:03Speaker 1: herself is so. Great and that is the scene that
- 14:07Speaker 1: made me feel, like, well it was that, scene among.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Others it made me feel like Kim mitula might not
- 14:12Speaker 1: be long for The hallmark. World. Yeah as much AS
- 14:16Speaker 1: i hope she continues to Make hallmark, movies like at
- 14:19Speaker 1: least one a year because she's so fun to, WATCH
- 14:23Speaker 1: i do worry she may quickly grow beyond The hallmark. Sandbox,
- 14:27Speaker 1: YES i hear what you're putting. Down, yeah hear what
- 14:31Speaker 1: you're putting. Down if one can rewind for a, SECOND
- 14:36Speaker 1: i did think their respective meet cutes in the subway
- 14:40Speaker 1: those were real. Cute they were real. Cute the coffee
- 14:44Speaker 1: thing a little, bit you, know sure, Whatever but like
- 14:48Speaker 1: that character Of emma's like so like it's no big,
- 14:51Speaker 1: Deal like he offers to give her his SHIRT i,
- 14:54Speaker 1: know and then the other one was really, Cute LIKE
- 14:58Speaker 1: i found. MYSELF i was, like, okay these ARE i
- 15:02Speaker 1: like these. Pairings but then of course when we get
- 15:05Speaker 1: to our our real, PAIRING i was, like, oh this
- 15:08Speaker 1: is one hundred times. Better BUT i did really like
- 15:11Speaker 1: those subway. SCENES i thought we were fun to. Watch mm.
- 15:15Speaker 1: HMM i thought they were very. Cute can we talk
- 15:17Speaker 1: about a scene THAT i loved Is emma Asking sid
- 15:21Speaker 1: her sister's. Husband she's, like, oh any good gossip from
- 15:23Speaker 1: the hospital and he's, like oh, yeah two cardiologist are getting,
- 15:25Speaker 1: divorced and then he has no follow up. INFORMATION i was,
- 15:29Speaker 1: like that is every MAN i, know especially my. Husband
- 15:32Speaker 1: he'll be, like, oh so and so is getting. Divorced i'm,
- 15:34Speaker 1: like oh, no what. Happened he's LIKE i don't. Know i'm,
- 15:36Speaker 1: like this is your best friend for the past twenty five.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Years you guys lived together in, college and you didn't, say,
- 15:41Speaker 1: like what? Happened where are you living? Now what's going?
- 15:45Speaker 1: On with like follow? Up please give me the? Detail, yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 1: YEAH i. AGREE i really enjoyed her sister and her
- 15:55Speaker 1: brother in law as like the sounding. Board yeah her h.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Hmm they were great and the three of them together
- 16:02Speaker 1: were really. FUN i liked her dynamic with both of
- 16:05Speaker 1: them separately and then the three of them. Together you
- 16:07Speaker 1: know their joke about, like, oh he's, like Actually i'm
- 16:09Speaker 1: the third. Wheel real. CUTE i liked. THAT i liked
- 16:11Speaker 1: that he was as supportive of her as her sister. Was,
- 16:15Speaker 1: yeah that's, nice. RIGHT i was wondering in that scene
- 16:19Speaker 1: when she comes home and they have the champagne and she's,
- 16:21Speaker 1: like let's pop those. Bubbles they said bubbles. Twice i'm,
- 16:24Speaker 1: like can you not say? Champagne OH i don't, know
- 16:28Speaker 1: pop that sparkling. Wine it's not really. Champagne, exactly, yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Exactly speaking of other, dialogue there was one line THAT
- 16:37Speaker 1: i ello, weld and it is When emma And conrad
- 16:41Speaker 1: are they were like walking AND i think they're talking
- 16:44Speaker 1: About he's, like, OH i can set you up with.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Somebody I'll i'll look through my rolodex and she's, like
- 16:49Speaker 1: do you work On Wall street in the. EIGHTIES i
- 16:52Speaker 1: just thought that was so, funny so. Funny also for,
- 16:58Speaker 1: me we know the Movie ghost and The pottery is
- 17:02Speaker 1: the gold. Standard we know, that but this scene really worked.
- 17:06Speaker 1: TOO i thought it was super. Playful and, flirty and
- 17:09Speaker 1: it served its purpose of these two like getting closer
- 17:13Speaker 1: together without being. CHEESY i really loved it cosign everything
- 17:18Speaker 1: you said about that. Scene and then, lastly for, ME
- 17:20Speaker 1: i thought this bigger theme. Landed you, know we Have
- 17:24Speaker 1: conrad who has this belief that there has to be
- 17:27Speaker 1: a lightning, connection, right and he says he talks about
- 17:31Speaker 1: it where it's like it's modeled after my. Parents they've
- 17:33Speaker 1: been married all this, time and blah blah, blah and
- 17:35Speaker 1: that's all. Sweet BUT i love how this movie challenges
- 17:38Speaker 1: that idea that if you're too attached to what love
- 17:42Speaker 1: should look, like you're gonna miss. It that's so interesting
- 17:46Speaker 1: because that's actually kind of in my. Wishes oh tell me,
- 17:49Speaker 1: more like you. Said at the, Beginning conrad is telling
- 17:52Speaker 1: his current situationship that you, know lightning doesn't, strike what's
- 17:56Speaker 1: the Point and to me that read leg it's love
- 17:58Speaker 1: at first side OR. GTFH i. Agree but then later
- 18:01Speaker 1: he goes On emma keeps referring to his lightning. Strike
- 18:05Speaker 1: she keeps talking about, that you, KNOW i want you
- 18:06Speaker 1: to have your lightning, strike and he at one point, says,
- 18:09Speaker 1: well WHAT i WHAT i really meant was you shouldn't
- 18:12Speaker 1: have to force. It and to, me those sound like
- 18:16Speaker 1: two very different. Sentiments AND i guess maybe my brain
- 18:19Speaker 1: didn't process the point at which he realized that the
- 18:24Speaker 1: love at first sight wasn't the, key because then all
- 18:28Speaker 1: of a sudden it doesn't work for him And emma
- 18:29Speaker 1: to be. Together, yeah. Exactly so THEN i just, thought
- 18:33Speaker 1: did he change course because his relationship With emma didn't
- 18:36Speaker 1: follow the lightning strikes? Protocol or maybe DID i miss
- 18:39Speaker 1: something where they workshop that maybe got. Cut, yeah maybe they're,
- 18:45Speaker 1: like people aren't gonna like thank that much into this
- 18:48Speaker 1: movie and these. Themes so, yeah maybe BECAUSE i liked The,
- 18:52Speaker 1: Yeah i'm on board with you shouldn't have to force
- 18:54Speaker 1: it if it's hard in the, beginning if you're like
- 18:56Speaker 1: forcing a, connection of, Course But i'm not like that
- 19:00Speaker 1: you need to love it first sight like you need.
- 19:02Speaker 1: To lightning doesn't necessarily need to. Strike it can be
- 19:05Speaker 1: a slow. Burn AND i wouldn't even call these two
- 19:08Speaker 1: a slow. Burn, NO i would agree they just didn't
- 19:12Speaker 1: start with romance in. Mind. NECESSARILY i have a couple other,
- 19:16Speaker 1: Wishes but what do you have in? Yours first of,
- 19:18Speaker 1: all my dudes on the subway ask for the. NAME
- 19:22Speaker 1: i was like yelling at. It, seriously you know your
- 19:25Speaker 1: stop is, coming and how chaotic it is getting on
- 19:28Speaker 1: and off the. Train ask the name and the number
- 19:30Speaker 1: before like that all. Happens it really was surprised that
- 19:34Speaker 1: they didn't, say, like, oh CAN i get your? NUMBER
- 19:36Speaker 1: i just. YEAH i actually in that scene was, thinking,
- 19:39Speaker 1: like are they just meeting people every day on the
- 19:41Speaker 1: subway and this is just like no big deal to
- 19:44Speaker 1: have this like real, meet cute, conversation because to, me
- 19:47Speaker 1: that feels remarkable to have a conversation like that with a,
- 19:51Speaker 1: stranger and so to miss the opportunity to even know
- 19:55Speaker 1: their name was a, CHOICE i. Agree and it was
- 19:58Speaker 1: funny too because When lance was like you didn't get the,
- 20:02Speaker 1: number socials, ANYTHING i was, like, okay this this was
- 20:06Speaker 1: so for twenty twenty, six you. Know and by the,
- 20:10Speaker 1: way when they go to that store and he's Like, Lance,
- 20:13Speaker 1: LANCE i WAS i had second hand embarrassment for. Him,
- 20:18Speaker 1: NO i thought was so. Haucky. That look if somebody
- 20:24Speaker 1: said go into a, store like just just Say lance
- 20:28Speaker 1: and you'll get the, DISCOUNT i would be, Like i'd
- 20:30Speaker 1: rather pay full. Price you don't want to take that.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Chance tell me what. ELSE i have one more, wish
- 20:36Speaker 1: but tell me your. Others why Did emma's Date aaron
- 20:39Speaker 1: agree to go out with her again after clocking that
- 20:41Speaker 1: she's Into conrad And conrad is likely into? Her like
- 20:44Speaker 1: he comes back after the first date And conrad's, like
- 20:48Speaker 1: how was the? Date and he was, like wella was,
- 20:50Speaker 1: fine but she's not into. Me and he was, like
- 20:52Speaker 1: you don't really go jogging with someone you're just friends,
- 20:55Speaker 1: With like he's like pushing back on like them being just.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Friends and then AND i was, like, well MAYBE i
- 21:01Speaker 1: should just Give aaron a, Chance like just because lightning
- 21:04Speaker 1: didn't strike, RIGHT i just Thought aaron Knew and maybe
- 21:08Speaker 1: he was, like, WELL i don't want to write it
- 21:09Speaker 1: off just because there wasn't a love. Connection, anyway it
- 21:13Speaker 1: serves his. PURPOSE i did feel a little bit badly
- 21:15Speaker 1: For aaron in that moment when they're at the party
- 21:18Speaker 1: together And emma can't take her eyes Off. Conrad, yeah,
- 21:22Speaker 1: finally what's going on with the? Puppets what? Puppets are
- 21:26Speaker 1: you kidding me right? Now tell me? More it's a whole.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Storyline first of, ALL i don't remember anything about. Puppets
- 21:33Speaker 1: are you like super imposing something else over this Movie
- 21:36Speaker 1: whnden talking, no, no no. No in the beginning of it's,
- 21:40Speaker 1: throughout so in the early, scene Like sid walks in
- 21:43Speaker 1: and there's like a puppet at the dinner, table and
- 21:45Speaker 1: then later he's cooking dinner and there's like a puppet
- 21:47Speaker 1: on the kitchen. Counter it's like a. Yetti and then
- 21:50Speaker 1: later when they're talking about When sid And hazel are
- 21:53Speaker 1: talking about what they're gonna, move and she's, like you
- 21:55Speaker 1: gotta leave the puppets. Behind he's, like they make the
- 21:58Speaker 1: kids so, happy and she's, like they gotta, go, Dude
- 22:01Speaker 1: and then cut to their Moving all the puppets are
- 22:04Speaker 1: in the front seat of the moving man never even clocked.
- 22:08Speaker 1: In none of, This none of it. Happened and she's,
- 22:11Speaker 1: Like i'm not a. MONSTER i, wouldn't BUT i just
- 22:14Speaker 1: somebody told me the backstory of how the puppets came to.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Be Please Nicole, Baster hello A, girls come on homework Dot.
- 22:19Speaker 1: COM i am dying to know the origin of the puppet.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Story So i'm guessing like he worked in pediatrics or
- 22:26Speaker 1: something and he used puppets at the, hospital that they're
- 22:29Speaker 1: like monster puppets kind of, okay BUT i literally. Didn't
- 22:33Speaker 1: in the, beginning they didn't talk about, them And i'm,
- 22:34Speaker 1: like why is there a big, green fuzzy puppet at
- 22:37Speaker 1: the dinner? Table why is there a big fluffy white
- 22:39Speaker 1: yetti sitting on the kitchen counter as he's making? Dinner
- 22:42Speaker 1: and then they discuss. THEM i need to know. More,
- 22:45Speaker 1: well to be, truthful we watched us on a, screener
- 22:48Speaker 1: and when you watch on, screeners it has like our
- 22:51Speaker 1: email address across the top of, it and like our
- 22:54Speaker 1: names and. Stuff so MAYBE i didn't Even i'm, like
- 22:57Speaker 1: so visually, overstimulated, right what's on my STE i know
- 23:01Speaker 1: the embargo dates are plastered all over. It, yeah SO
- 23:05Speaker 1: i don't want to er any. Puppets and the only
- 23:07Speaker 1: PUPPET i can think of is that scary one FROM.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Mimicx SO i, no, no, no no. No these are like
- 23:13Speaker 1: happy monster puppets and these are multiple. Scenes it blows
- 23:17Speaker 1: my mind That, okay, no not even, once, okay not even.
- 23:22Speaker 1: ONCE i would LOVE i would love to know the,
- 23:24Speaker 1: backstory backstarre EMAILS. US i have a, question, okay putting
- 23:31Speaker 1: an ad in a, paper is this one of the
- 23:34Speaker 1: greatest scams ever? Invented for a man like hear me,
- 23:38Speaker 1: out say you want to meet some women and you're,
- 23:40Speaker 1: like we had a misconnection on the, subway maybe AT
- 23:43Speaker 1: x Y, z and then you're just there and you're,
- 23:45Speaker 1: like oh, yeah oh, sorry you're not, it or oh,
- 23:47Speaker 1: yeah maybe you're not, it but let's go. Out yeah,
- 23:53Speaker 1: Maybe i'm so.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Curious, also, ALSO i swear we watched a movie very
- 24:01Speaker 2: similar to this where there was an ad place in a,
- 24:04Speaker 2: paper like maybe during countdown To christmas when there was
- 24:07Speaker 2: just a barrage of movies AND i can't remember specifically
- 24:10Speaker 2: which one it was The.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Yeah Nil mater and we met in Dobb. Embracer yeah that's.
- 24:17Speaker 1: It you're, right BECAUSE i was, LIKE i remember like
- 24:19Speaker 1: a pie shop and like trying to meet at a
- 24:22Speaker 1: pie shop people kept coming. In that's the, movie it, Was,
- 24:25Speaker 1: Okay so that's, interesting, Right like there's two movies with
- 24:29Speaker 1: this ad place in a? Paper? Yeah do people actually do?
- 24:33Speaker 1: That in twenty twenty? SIX i don't. Know, okay let's
- 24:36Speaker 1: hear your did you see that when the blackout moment
- 24:40Speaker 1: happens on the, subway which was really not that? Bad,
- 24:43Speaker 1: no you, know not to make the paper the next
- 24:45Speaker 1: day about like a subway. Blackout when the power goes,
- 24:48Speaker 1: out not one single person. Panics everybody is just staring
- 24:52Speaker 1: at their. Phones it's like a glow of. PHONES i was,
- 24:56Speaker 1: like is this super? ACCURATE i thought it was well.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Done this bushes happened all day, long the soft jog.
- 25:04Speaker 1: SCENE i loved all this and so very. Much but
- 25:08Speaker 1: when they run into Coworker aaron And conrad And aaron
- 25:12Speaker 1: are identical finance broke quarter ZIP i mean chef's kiss.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Two who did the? COSTUMES i thought this so so
- 25:22Speaker 1: subtle and, funny no. NOTES i thought it was so
- 25:24Speaker 1: funny and IT'S i wanted her to call it out
- 25:27Speaker 1: because she had joked earlier she was, like does everyone
- 25:30Speaker 1: wear gray in an earlier, scene and so when they
- 25:33Speaker 1: show up in the same, THING i wanted her to be, like.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Huh but then it was kind of nice that she
- 25:37Speaker 1: did it BECAUSE i, agree, great, great super. Funny what
- 25:42Speaker 1: else do you? HAVE i have three, more BUT i
- 25:43Speaker 1: want to hear what else you. Have in the final,
- 25:45Speaker 1: scene When conrad is racing to get To, emma the
- 25:47Speaker 1: shots of the suv are flying through the street like
- 25:50Speaker 1: that suv is hauling ass through those, streets kind of
- 25:53Speaker 1: actually stressed me out a little. Bit the subway stations
- 25:57Speaker 1: are the, brightest Cleanest New York city Subway i've ever. Seen,
- 26:00Speaker 1: like make it, dirtier make it. Darker oh, yeah you,
- 26:04Speaker 1: KNOW i was thinking about the whole subway. Thing i've
- 26:06Speaker 1: only been on three subways in my entire Life New, York,
- 26:09Speaker 1: london And. Boston uh, huh And New york was by
- 26:14Speaker 1: far the. SCARIEST i was with, you by the, way
- 26:17Speaker 1: do you recall, That, yeah of course we went down
- 26:20Speaker 1: to the, carousel so. SCARY i don't find The New
- 26:27Speaker 1: York city subways, scary but it's not. Nice those were
- 26:31Speaker 1: beautiful subway, stations And i've never they're just not they're
- 26:35Speaker 1: they're not nice. Typically, anyway that was the dead. Giveaway and,
- 26:40Speaker 1: finally oh you called It emma's Sister hazel saying she
- 26:43Speaker 1: needs a gentleman in finance and that has to Be Nicole.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Baxter please tell me you have your finger on the,
- 26:49Speaker 1: pulse the pop culture zite geist and had been dying
- 26:53Speaker 1: to find a way to Work i'm looking for a
- 26:55Speaker 1: man in finance into your. Script, YEAH i loved, it loved.
- 26:58Speaker 1: It my two last ditches see that where there was
- 27:01Speaker 1: an earring exchange Where hazel is Giving emma some earrings to, wear,
- 27:06Speaker 1: yeah and she says these always brought me. Luck And emma,
- 27:10Speaker 1: says thank, you Miss, Taylor AND i was, like do
- 27:12Speaker 1: you know Where i'm going with? This this didn't clock
- 27:15Speaker 1: for you at, all doesn't strike a. Memory do you
- 27:18Speaker 1: remember The Elizabeth Taylor White diamonds commercial Where she's, like
- 27:21Speaker 1: these have always brought?
- 27:22Speaker 2: Me?
- 27:22Speaker 1: OH i do? Now, yes that commercial is a burn
- 27:26Speaker 1: into my brain AND i was, like, oh, hey LIKE
- 27:29Speaker 1: i get the joke. Here WHAT i thought in that,
- 27:32Speaker 1: MOMENT i was, like, man she of course this is a.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Script but my thought, was, man that was a quick
- 27:38Speaker 1: response the thank you Miss taylor right? There yeah, anyway.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Yeah and then my final did you see that was
- 27:44Speaker 1: the aggressively large text size On conrad's phone thank? You extremely.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Relatable that is the size of the text on my
- 27:53Speaker 1: phone as. WELL i appreciated. THAT i also appreciated that
- 27:56Speaker 1: not only did we get large texts popped up on the,
- 27:58Speaker 1: screen we also got A he's over to accompany. THEM
- 28:01Speaker 1: a plus accessibility for the Old Lady.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Club the Old Lady, CLUB i have a real hard
- 28:09Speaker 2: time with.
- 28:10Speaker 1: THOSE i, KNOW i KNOW i can't drive at, night
- 28:13Speaker 1: can't retext messages on the. Screen, god the driving at
- 28:17Speaker 1: night is so bad. LATELY i. Know we went to
- 28:21Speaker 1: a concert In la last week AND i was the
- 28:23Speaker 1: youngest one in the, bunch so everyone was, like thanks for.
- 28:27Speaker 1: DRIVING i can't really see it. NIGHT i thought it
- 28:31Speaker 1: was just. Me i'm like so blinded by like the
- 28:33Speaker 1: lights AND i can't see the sign and, like, oh
- 28:35Speaker 1: it's over. Stimulating i'm, like don't talk to. ME i
- 28:38Speaker 1: gotta put my glasses on and. Focus, Yes i'm, like
- 28:41Speaker 1: this is. Why, remember, like, Well grandma doesn't drive after
- 28:45Speaker 1: night and or after, dark AND i do why that's
- 28:47Speaker 1: so weird NOW i, Know, no we, KNOW i gotta
- 28:50Speaker 1: get grandma home before the lights go. Down, well my
- 28:53Speaker 1: daughter's learning to drive and we needed to take her
- 28:56Speaker 1: practice driving The Then i'm, like, oh it's, dark and

- 29:01Speaker 1: young eyes can still. See welcome To Jerry Eatric's, Gone.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Hallmark what did you rate this? Movie, OKAY i have
- 29:13Speaker 1: to preface my. RATING i gave it four point seven five,
- 29:17Speaker 1: stars even though in my MIND i think it's a
- 29:19Speaker 1: nearly perfect romantic. Movie BUT i had to compare it
- 29:24Speaker 1: To missing The, boat WHICH i also thought was a
- 29:26Speaker 1: nearly perfect, comedy AND i gave that one four point
- 29:30Speaker 1: seven five. Stars so does That does that justify it at?
- 29:34Speaker 1: All that's funny that you say, that because often we've
- 29:38Speaker 1: talked about my ratings or often just, vibes Like i'm just,
- 29:41Speaker 1: Like i'm feeling a four on this. Movie. Right this
- 29:43Speaker 1: is a four point five star movie for. Me but
- 29:46Speaker 1: WHEN i was, okay, relax WHEN i was thinking about the,
- 29:50Speaker 1: MOVIE i was, like it is five. Stars that's where
- 29:53Speaker 1: my brain went BECAUSE i really enjoyed. It and THEN i, went,
- 29:55Speaker 1: well there are a few things THAT i would like
- 29:57Speaker 1: nitpick about, it so it feels like. Fair AND i
- 30:00Speaker 1: Gave missing The. Boat IF i give it five, stars
- 30:02Speaker 1: you gave it five, stars my. Friend, Yeah so IF
- 30:05Speaker 1: i were going to compare this To missing The, BOAT
- 30:06Speaker 1: i gave that rating works for. Me but everyone listening
- 30:09Speaker 1: should know that please put almost zero stock in our
- 30:12Speaker 1: ratings and go by what we've said about the, movie
- 30:14Speaker 1: because for, me it's pure, vibes pure vibes. Always so
- 30:20Speaker 1: my FINAL rati is four point five, stars but absolute
- 30:24Speaker 1: do not miss this. Movie it would be my. Recommendation, yes, yes,
