- 3:06Speaker 9: I ain't gonna lie, man.
- 3:08Speaker 6: I was just a nigga from the Jack trying to
- 3:10Speaker 6: goddamn find.
- 3:11Speaker 1: My way through you. I ain't had no goddamn walk through.
- 3:14Speaker 9: Ain't nobody walk me through the club like nigga was

- 3:26Speaker 9: I've been that loune of ten years and now all right,
- 3:29Speaker 9: and I can honestly say, and I have said this.
- 3:31Speaker 9: I came here very aggressively. You feel what I'm saying
- 3:34Speaker 9: and over the time. Now I really do apologize to
- 3:38Speaker 9: a lot of people for that.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Bro.
- 3:39Speaker 9: You feel me because it rubbed niggas the wrong way.
- 3:42Speaker 9: But at the same time, life rubbed niggas the wrong
- 3:45Speaker 9: way it happens. It wasn't intentionally, you feel what I'm saying.
- 3:47Speaker 9: It just was a misunderstanding of me knowing how to maneuver,
- 3:50Speaker 9: and other motherfuckers don't know a niggas, So you know
- 3:52Speaker 9: what I'm saying.
- 3:52Speaker 6: At the same time, should everybody know what's up?
- 3:54Speaker 9: Man?
- 3:55Speaker 3: That on one callaway is always love that first question,
- 3:59Speaker 3: and I want you to each go and be as
- 4:00Speaker 3: timely as you can.
- 4:02Speaker 2: What made you want to become a DJ?
- 4:06Speaker 6: Damn control? Okay?
- 4:10Speaker 9: I wanted to have some aspect of control in something
- 4:13Speaker 9: I was doing, and I saw that if I was
- 4:16Speaker 9: I saw the power in music and how to control
- 4:19Speaker 9: people emotions. High control the room. I controlled the admisphere.
- 4:23Speaker 9: You feel what I'm saying. You cut a song gone,
- 4:25Speaker 9: and I can make you feel like you want to cry.
- 4:29Speaker 9: I can cut a song gone, I can make you
- 4:30Speaker 9: feel like you're the heaviest person alive. I can cut
- 4:33Speaker 9: another song on. I can make you feel like you
- 4:34Speaker 9: want to call your ex baby Mama. Feel what I'm saying.
- 4:37Speaker 9: I just saw it as that level of control that
- 4:39Speaker 9: I can really control my environment. And I became a
- 4:42Speaker 9: person after throwing parties for so long, and I mean
- 4:46Speaker 9: in high school, I kind of got to the point
- 4:48Speaker 9: where I was like, bro, like, I want to control
- 4:49Speaker 9: these environments. I like throwing parties, so how can I
- 4:52Speaker 9: continue doing this and make some money? And I had
- 4:55Speaker 9: a passion for this shit like it was that was
- 4:57Speaker 9: the next level for me. Appreciate it.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Yeah, it was. It was the control of my environment.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Okay, I got to say, and mine was just the
- 5:05Speaker 4: love of music, you know I was. I started DJ
- 5:07Speaker 4: when I was twelve years old. So my dad was
- 5:09Speaker 4: the hip hop side. My mom was the R and
- 5:11Speaker 4: B side, So I was like, I was always around
- 5:14Speaker 4: older people, so I just I'm seeing niggas DJ. I'm
- 5:17Speaker 4: just like, oh, this is what I want to do.
- 5:19Speaker 4: I can make money off of it too. I don't
- 5:21Speaker 4: got to get a job.
- 5:22Speaker 7: Oh I'm DJ. And then I taught myself how DJ
- 5:25Speaker 7: and I fell in love with it.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Oh, I ain't even want to be no DJ. I
- 5:29Speaker 1: wanted to go to the NFL.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Bro on God, because you played ballall you couldn't have Yeah,
- 5:34Speaker 5: you couldn't have told me I wasn't going to the NFL.
- 5:37Speaker 6: On God.
- 5:38Speaker 5: But you know, God made things happen in your life.
- 5:40Speaker 5: You get injured and whatnot. The funniest story about it, BRO, Like.
- 5:45Speaker 1: When I became a DJ, BRO, it was on some
- 5:48Speaker 1: like virtual DJ.
- 5:49Speaker 5: You know how you used to get pop ups on
- 5:50Speaker 5: our laptops, Bro, I hit the wrong thing on my computer.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Pop up popped up and downloaded Virtual DJ on my
- 5:55Speaker 5: computer like automatically, and I got it started playing with
- 5:59Speaker 5: it while we supposed to be in I'm running the clock,
- 6:01Speaker 5: like playing the DJ shit got to it.
- 6:03Speaker 1: But I like the DJ ship because it's like competition.
- 6:05Speaker 5: It reminds me of football, Like you can get up
- 6:08Speaker 5: there and compete with whoever, whether it be the crowd,
- 6:11Speaker 5: whether it be the DJ before you, the DJ after you.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I just love the competition in it, Like it just
- 6:15Speaker 1: feel like I can. I could turn this.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Bitch up, and it's just my opinion better than anybody
- 6:20Speaker 5: in the world in this particular moment.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So like, that's kind of what I feel in love.
- 6:24Speaker 6: With about the shit. Now, how did you start becoming
- 6:26Speaker 6: a tour DJ out of nowhere?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Bro?
- 6:29Speaker 5: To be honest, like, I took over the college campuses.
- 6:32Speaker 5: I started DJing all the local parties in the city
- 6:34Speaker 5: and whatnot. I seen like the y'all remember that movement
- 6:37Speaker 5: that that twenty is like twenty fourteen, twenty fifteen, like
- 6:41Speaker 5: Migo Stug like emotional everybody. Yeah yeah, yeah, like everything
- 6:48Speaker 5: just started to move Atlanta and I'm just watching like
- 6:51Speaker 5: all right, we know this nigga he gone, We know
- 6:54Speaker 5: this nigga he gone. And essentially, like in that time,
- 6:56Speaker 5: if you are a prominent DJ, essentially all you had
- 6:59Speaker 5: to do is.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Just kind of like wait your turn, just conversations.
- 7:02Speaker 5: And you you support the artists, like all the DJ
- 7:05Speaker 5: the hottest DJs a out right now. We literally were
- 7:08Speaker 5: all DJ together at certain clubs. He might be the
- 7:11Speaker 5: open on this night. I might be the closer on
- 7:13Speaker 5: this night.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Boom. It just so happened.
- 7:14Speaker 5: You know, an artist, he come to your club, you
- 7:17Speaker 5: see you killing the club. He's like, man, I want
- 7:18Speaker 5: to bring this dude on tour. And it just so
- 7:20Speaker 5: happened like that with Black I met him through today.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Yeah, what's so funny? Bro Tune that used to be
- 7:29Speaker 1: a DJ. Yes, a lot of people don't know.
- 7:32Speaker 5: There's some parties too, Yeah, Team Millionaires him jam like
- 7:36Speaker 5: all of them, yeah all together. It was not but
- 7:39Speaker 5: he used to be a DJ. DJ incredible, but he
- 7:41Speaker 5: wound up bringing me drums.
- 7:44Speaker 6: Hard.
- 7:44Speaker 1: He's actually good as DJ's a hard name.
- 7:49Speaker 5: He wound up. Then they had drum at the time.
- 7:53Speaker 5: I like to Chad and at that time, I'm breaking records.
- 7:55Speaker 5: I'm breaking it cool. He like, got this new artist
- 7:58Speaker 5: named Black, I want you to work with him.
- 7:59Speaker 6: I'm like, who.
- 8:00Speaker 5: We go to rehearsals, I pull up, I'm thinking to
- 8:01Speaker 5: somebody I don't know. I already knew Black from like
- 8:04Speaker 5: twenty thirteen. Just we just clicked organic. Yeah, it just
- 8:09Speaker 5: so happened like that. We've been lot there ever since.
- 8:11Speaker 8: Now, Vaughn, you have a really good relationship, you know,
- 8:15Speaker 8: with the artists that you DJ for, and I feel
- 8:17Speaker 8: like a lot of DJs that they don't get that
- 8:19Speaker 8: access to an artists. What what made you feel like
- 8:23Speaker 8: you can start to tell, like, Okay, I got a
- 8:25Speaker 8: better relationship.
- 8:26Speaker 1: With the artists that I'm working with than most people.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Well, when I first started a lot of Lotto, Yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 4: well before a lot of when I first started touring
- 8:33Speaker 4: DC and Rorri had guns why being I mere needed DJ.
- 8:38Speaker 4: I I think that was the first person out of
- 8:41Speaker 4: j for almost everybody.
- 8:43Speaker 7: I don't bounce around but me and lotto was.
- 8:47Speaker 4: We was friends way before I became her DJ, so
- 8:51Speaker 4: she was always the young team performer at the pet rallies,
- 8:54Speaker 4: at throwing parties on the South Side. So when we linked,
- 8:58Speaker 4: it was more of a The chemistry was already built
- 9:00Speaker 4: because we had the best friend relationship, so it was
- 9:03Speaker 4: easy to really lock in and not make it just business.
- 9:07Speaker 4: We made the business fun personal, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:10Speaker 4: So after we locked in, it was just.
- 9:15Speaker 3: When she performs and you perform with her, I can
- 9:17Speaker 3: tell you guys are friends. I can look at the
- 9:20Speaker 3: performance and here and tell you guys are friends for
- 9:24Speaker 3: hard because you can't duplicate, right, you can't copy that facts,
- 9:28Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying.
- 9:29Speaker 8: And I know some DJs probably be jealous of you,
- 9:32Speaker 8: like you know, birthdays come around and you know you.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Get yeah, But that that comes from the relationship we built,
- 9:45Speaker 4: not personally in business. She scratched my back, I scratched
- 9:49Speaker 4: her back. I helped make the show also, so she
- 9:52Speaker 4: shows that appreciation.
- 9:53Speaker 7: So I respect her for that. A lot of artists
- 9:56Speaker 7: don't respect.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Their DJs exactly like a lot of artists don't respect
- 10:00Speaker 4: the DJs.
- 10:01Speaker 1: More time for the people in the back.
- 10:02Speaker 4: A lot of artists do not respect they dj is
- 10:05Speaker 4: no matter how much hard work they put in, they
- 10:07Speaker 4: just don't have respect.
- 10:08Speaker 9: For him whisper one time a lot of artists.
- 10:12Speaker 6: But that's what makes me like a lot of more
- 10:14Speaker 6: as an artist.
- 10:15Speaker 8: When I see your relationship, it makes me like her
- 10:18Speaker 8: more as an artist.
- 10:19Speaker 5: It's so hard and seen her brother And this is
- 10:21Speaker 5: some random ship Vronkaby DJing, random ass club that shr
- 10:25Speaker 5: hold two hundred people, sull.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Pull up and that's important.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Don't do that.
- 10:32Speaker 8: That's important because that makes your value go up when
- 10:36Speaker 8: promoters and club owners can see, Okay, you DJ Falato,
- 10:40Speaker 8: and we might book you, and you might charge more
- 10:43Speaker 8: than the average DJ because you said you never know
- 10:45Speaker 8: who's gonna pull up. And I have seen it for
- 10:48Speaker 8: your birthdays. I'd have seen it from random clubs that
- 10:51Speaker 8: you've done. And she popped up and supported. Now t
- 10:54Speaker 8: lewis you work with the greatest rapperlive?
- 10:58Speaker 1: How is that a journey? Speaking to the micro sir.
- 11:04Speaker 6: On journey, I mean he's the greatest rapper alive. I
- 11:07Speaker 6: mean one thing about it. I was conditioned.
- 11:12Speaker 9: I hate to say it like this, bro, but I
- 11:14Speaker 9: think I was more so conditioned to do this job,
- 11:17Speaker 9: train more so because I start out to do it,
- 11:20Speaker 9: right said.
- 11:21Speaker 6: I was in Jackson and I was just really at
- 11:23Speaker 6: the point of my life.
- 11:23Speaker 9: I ain't gonna say a point of my life when
- 11:24Speaker 9: I when I started DJing, I was like, bro I
- 11:27Speaker 9: gotta get out of Jackson. So my goal was like,
- 11:30Speaker 9: I got DJ for somebody I'll never forget. I was
- 11:33Speaker 9: in Jackson and I got a phone call the DJ
- 11:35Speaker 9: for Travis Porter because I broke just helped break Travisport
- 11:39Speaker 9: in Jackson. Right, you know, they were doing the tour
- 11:42Speaker 9: in China.
- 11:44Speaker 6: And the boy hit me. I said, hey, TV, come
- 11:47Speaker 6: out here, turn it with the boys. Da da da dah.
- 11:49Speaker 9: I said, oh, all right, for sure, I said, tell
- 11:52Speaker 9: me the detail. They told me the details, right, I cried,
- 11:57Speaker 9: I ain't take it, but I had the opportunities coming,
- 12:01Speaker 9: but I stood on a lot of shit.
- 12:03Speaker 6: You feel what I'm saying. I even like the details.
- 12:06Speaker 9: Details was not anything that could have made anything happen
- 12:08Speaker 9: for Tilts to go to China. You know what that
- 12:10Speaker 9: sound like. And there want no disrespect to the boys.
- 12:13Speaker 9: You feel what I'm saying. But they had already had
- 12:15Speaker 9: a budget and the DJ that they had at the time.
- 12:17Speaker 6: That's what he was taking.
- 12:18Speaker 9: He was taking it. So they was like, hey, this
- 12:19Speaker 9: is what we got right now. It was my college homecoming.
- 12:22Speaker 9: In that two week span that was going on, I
- 12:25Speaker 9: had enough events that was going to quadruple the money
- 12:27Speaker 9: that they were saying.
- 12:28Speaker 6: So I was like, I can't really do that, So
- 12:30Speaker 6: I gave up that opportunity.
- 12:31Speaker 9: I had people coming to the city actually grabbing me
- 12:34Speaker 9: like hey let's.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Go do X, Y and Z. But I'm still in Jackson,
- 12:36Speaker 6: do you feel me?
- 12:37Speaker 9: I sawed out to go for wine though, Like from
- 12:39Speaker 9: the jump, I was a huge Waye fan, so doing
- 12:43Speaker 9: that me being around Tis, one thing I was grateful
- 12:45Speaker 9: for was Tis was always about one. He always scooled
- 12:51Speaker 9: me like, hey, this is how he is. He's his
- 12:52Speaker 9: mannerisms like this, he liked this. When you when you
- 12:55Speaker 9: start DJ in form, Bro, you gotta know this, you
- 12:56Speaker 9: gotta know that. And I took all at the heart.
- 12:59Speaker 9: So with that's why I say it's a journey because
- 13:02Speaker 9: I've been I've been waitning ten years now.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Bro, you feel what I'm saying. Wow, and me being
- 13:06Speaker 6: wayning ten.
- 13:06Speaker 9: Years Bro, I've watched so much from Bro and learned
- 13:11Speaker 9: so much from Bro. That's like, it's nothing bad I
- 13:14Speaker 9: can say because at the end of the day, this
- 13:16Speaker 9: is is really his world.
- 13:17Speaker 6: Bro.
- 13:18Speaker 9: You feel what I'm saying, right, And the great part
- 13:20Speaker 9: about our chemistry is he let me do what I
- 13:22Speaker 9: do and I support what he do. You feel what
- 13:25Speaker 9: I'm saying, so I have no complaints.
- 13:27Speaker 3: And I would say DJ and for Wayne You'll be
- 13:29Speaker 3: You'll funk around and be in like Australia and Artist Russia.
- 13:35Speaker 9: Lifetime artists. You gotta understand what you're getting yourself into.
- 13:38Speaker 9: This is a lifetime artist. You feel what I'm saying.
- 13:40Speaker 9: At the end of the day, he's going to perform
- 13:41Speaker 9: forever longest he's willing to and long as God listens
- 13:44Speaker 9: him to. You feel what I'm saying, and you being
- 13:45Speaker 9: his artist, you have to understand that you feel what
- 13:47Speaker 9: I'm saying. And that's why you know what I'm saying.
- 13:49Speaker 9: Like I said, it's a journey, Bro, because we were just.
- 13:52Speaker 6: We was in Hawaii. Bro left Hawaiian with the Taypeland.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Know what I'm saying.
- 13:56Speaker 3: When I'm really living like that though with legacy artists,
- 13:59Speaker 3: especially him.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm saying it happened like that. You feel me.
- 14:04Speaker 9: At the same time, if Big Tuna didn't have, you
- 14:07Speaker 9: know what I'm saying, his own personal restrictions on certain things,
- 14:11Speaker 9: he'll probably be a lot more places than be Like, man, damn,
- 14:14Speaker 9: he just went there.
- 14:15Speaker 6: You feel the saying because the phone calls come in.
- 14:17Speaker 9: But honestly, being his DJ, bro, I feel just as
- 14:21Speaker 9: blessed and pleased as these guys. But the difference is
- 14:24Speaker 9: see O DJ for artists that Like when I was DJ,
- 14:28Speaker 9: forgot it. That was a long term relationship because God
- 14:32Speaker 9: was coming to the club seeing me DJ and called
- 14:34Speaker 9: and was like, hey, bro, come come, I got some
- 14:37Speaker 9: for you right now, come do x Y and Z.
- 14:39Speaker 9: I never forget when he first sat me on the
- 14:40Speaker 9: road with Wayne, he was like, boy, you finally got.
- 14:42Speaker 6: Out of Jackson.
- 14:42Speaker 9: But yeah, we was in Saint Louis. He had just
- 14:46Speaker 9: signed Black Youngs. He looked and he looked and he
- 14:48Speaker 9: was like, boy, you finally got out, Like, yeah, what's up?
- 14:51Speaker 9: Like I got some play? He started calling me. Then
- 14:53Speaker 9: that's when Bag did the same thing. Bag came to
- 14:55Speaker 9: the club, sat in the club.
- 14:56Speaker 6: Little Larry, I.
- 14:57Speaker 9: Mean little Larry Larry been coming to Jackson, miss for
- 15:00Speaker 9: the longest partying with me, that's two hours away. So
- 15:04Speaker 9: even with your relationship with like your friend relationship with
- 15:06Speaker 9: your artists, I admire that I have a friend relationship
- 15:11Speaker 9: with tune, but I tall I for the same time.
- 15:12Speaker 9: The business absolutely before he called, soon before he called,
- 15:16Speaker 9: or when he's calling, because why don't want them people?
- 15:18Speaker 9: Why don't want them people like they prip you like
- 15:20Speaker 9: they gonna they tuned in ther bit for show.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Some super they're.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Gonna they're gonna hit you lees about stuff like that.
- 15:29Speaker 6: But go ahead, big dog gonna hit you.
- 15:31Speaker 9: One of the big dogs gonna hit you like the
- 15:34Speaker 9: fin hit your bit for show.
- 15:35Speaker 6: He hits you in.
- 15:36Speaker 9: You gotta know they gained the conversation. And one thing
- 15:38Speaker 9: I know how to gage the conversation out for the
- 15:40Speaker 9: first is guess what this is a business conversation?
- 15:43Speaker 6: First? What's up with it? Sir? You're good? Yeah? Everything good?
- 15:47Speaker 6: All right?
- 15:48Speaker 9: For shure noah, nigga, I want to do this da
- 15:50Speaker 9: da da. Conversations don't go like that because nine times
- 15:52Speaker 9: out of the team, he ain't really calling me on
- 15:53Speaker 9: that ship like this. I put Wayne Shaws together. You
- 15:56Speaker 9: feel what I'm saying. So from sit list and design
- 15:58Speaker 9: and all this ship I do that, trust me to
- 16:02Speaker 9: do that. So that's why I say DJ for him
- 16:04Speaker 9: is a journey, bro, But it's amazing.
- 16:07Speaker 6: All right, already turn it up.
- 16:10Speaker 2: First topic to you go?
- 16:13Speaker 6: First?
- 16:15Speaker 3: Uh, what does it mean for DJ to burn another
- 16:18Speaker 3: DJ out in the club?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Turn it right?
- 16:26Speaker 6: Turn right?
- 16:27Speaker 5: Okay, I feel like we're all experienced enough to understand
- 16:32Speaker 5: of like all of us have been burned.
- 16:34Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. As far as DJI. You
- 16:37Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Yeah, that's crazy.
- 16:42Speaker 5: Crazy Essentially being burned in the club while you're DJing
- 16:50Speaker 5: is let's just say I'm the closer, right.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I come in. It's a it's an unstated.
- 16:55Speaker 5: DJ rule that we have, like we all know, especially
- 16:59Speaker 5: like in Thattlanta. Because what I've also realized is like
- 17:02Speaker 5: I learned it the burning thing in Atlanta, but then
- 17:05Speaker 5: when I got to travel, I started to understand, like
- 17:08Speaker 5: it's really not a thing.
- 17:08Speaker 1: So I'm just touch on the Atlanta want about. It's
- 17:12Speaker 1: a certain way we run our parties in Atlanta.
- 17:16Speaker 2: That's we set it up.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a build up, you know what I'm saying.
- 17:20Speaker 5: No matter how many people there, you got to be
- 17:21Speaker 5: able to control this many people. Here's where the burning
- 17:25Speaker 5: comes into play. Let's just say you have three DJs
- 17:28Speaker 5: right ten to twelve. This DJ is supposed to, you know,
- 17:32Speaker 5: just get the music, get the people to the bar,
- 17:34Speaker 5: get the you know, get the people cooling. The middle
- 17:37Speaker 5: DJ is supposed to be the DJ that gets the
- 17:41Speaker 5: crowd growing.
- 17:42Speaker 1: But not like it's prime time.
- 17:44Speaker 6: It's just.
- 17:49Speaker 7: Middle DJ if you asked me. But let's keep going, but.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Do not play the hit records until most of the
- 18:00Speaker 5: time it's three DJs, and then depending on what time
- 18:03Speaker 5: you closet. But this middle DJ is probably the most
- 18:07Speaker 5: important because if he DJ is correctly, it don't matter
- 18:14Speaker 5: what the hell I play, They're gonna turn up and
- 18:17Speaker 5: have a great time.
- 18:17Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. But here's where the problem
- 18:20Speaker 1: in Atlanta is the middle DJ thinks he's the mother
- 18:26Speaker 1: fucking close.
- 18:29Speaker 2: It's when DJ thinks he's the closing.
- 18:33Speaker 1: You're playing these records knowing that.
- 18:35Speaker 5: These are the hottest records, thinking that you're getting the
- 18:38Speaker 5: response of I'm a great DJ, when it only means
- 18:42Speaker 5: you're only playing the hottest records. You actually look way
- 18:45Speaker 5: better when I'm not playing records that niggas haven't heard before,
- 18:49Speaker 5: and I got it rocking like I'm playing the hottest record.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Out just because you in the middle and you have
- 18:59Speaker 4: a mass, a massive crowd. Like tone said, it doesn't
- 19:03Speaker 4: mean you go hit for hit for hit for hit
- 19:05Speaker 4: for hit.
- 19:06Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying.
- 19:07Speaker 2: It's don't hit you can play.
- 19:08Speaker 6: It's all hits. You can so many h.
- 19:10Speaker 7: You can play. You you have fun.
- 19:13Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. You not the priority artists tonight.
- 19:17Speaker 4: It's okay to relax, you know what I'm saying. That's
- 19:20Speaker 4: what DJs don't understand. They see a club with five
- 19:23Speaker 4: hundred people. Let's just say the club is packed at
- 19:26Speaker 4: ten o'clock. DJ is getting nervous and they don't know.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Let me play a song from twenty twelve, fourteen, fifteen sixteen.
- 19:33Speaker 4: I got five hundred people in this club. I gotta
- 19:35Speaker 4: play every a song right now. That's what they don't understand.
- 19:39Speaker 7: With burning out to me, niggas don't have crazy bro Leuis.
- 19:42Speaker 6: I'm gonna be real with you.
- 19:43Speaker 9: You looking at three of the cold as motherfucker you
- 19:45Speaker 9: ever gonna see, and goddamn life see the nigga ain't
- 19:47Speaker 9: gonna pop it.
- 19:48Speaker 6: I'm gonna pop it on.
- 19:49Speaker 9: I'm gonna tell you like this here. The problem is
- 19:52Speaker 9: why this shit going on here? Cause one D nick
- 19:54Speaker 9: can't DJ tell you, two D nigga can't talk on
- 19:56Speaker 9: the mic. Three D nig can't DJ it. They gonna burn.
- 20:00Speaker 9: They get up there and they do what they saw.
- 20:02Speaker 9: I don't get fo about your nigga being mad at
- 20:04Speaker 9: me saying a lot of these motherfuckers can't DJ. So
- 20:06Speaker 9: they go up there and they do what they saw.
- 20:08Speaker 9: They pottners are the promoters in Atlanta.
- 20:10Speaker 6: Yeah, nigga get mad.
- 20:12Speaker 1: They pottners of the promoters. They take it.
- 20:14Speaker 6: They aren't they couldn't they getting paid.
- 20:16Speaker 9: Little in the second Yeah, So at the end of
- 20:18Speaker 9: the day, when you get a nigga that ain't ready
- 20:20Speaker 9: to be in positioned in position, that's what happens because
- 20:22Speaker 9: they go up there and they mimic what goes on,
- 20:25Speaker 9: so they.
- 20:25Speaker 6: Get a lot of It's not a lot of these
- 20:27Speaker 6: DJ's fault. I blame them. I blame them.
- 20:30Speaker 9: Because they stupid enough to file for it, because they
- 20:33Speaker 9: up there faking the funk. Because you know you can't
- 20:35Speaker 9: do this shit. That's why you get the same songs
- 20:37Speaker 9: in rotation. You feel what I'm saying. And at the
- 20:40Speaker 9: same time, that's just the biggest thing. Like the middle
- 20:42Speaker 9: DJ all this shit fine, but at the same time,
- 20:44Speaker 9: see if you got the rights set up with DJs,
- 20:46Speaker 9: a motherfucker know they roll, so you ain't got no
- 20:49Speaker 9: motherfucker that's going up there goddamn crashing out.
- 20:51Speaker 1: You feel what I'm saying.
- 20:52Speaker 9: So that's the biggest I think that's the problem with
- 20:55Speaker 9: why motherfucking DJ's burning shit out because at the end
- 20:57Speaker 9: of the day, you got a motherfucker that hasn't you
- 21:01Speaker 9: got a wall.
- 21:01Speaker 6: They got a wall in front of the created as
- 21:03Speaker 6: they wall.
- 21:04Speaker 1: That's all they got.
- 21:05Speaker 6: They don't know. Okay, now.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Time we have some promoters to owners, we're going to
- 21:14Speaker 3: ask you have some more promo promoters who can get
- 21:16Speaker 3: some of the younger guys in on another episode. But uh,
- 21:20Speaker 3: we had somebody say, I asked a question, what determines
- 21:24Speaker 3: paying the DJ the fee that they want?
- 21:28Speaker 10: Brand value? Meaning that you you know that the DJ
- 21:32Speaker 10: one when he posted and he puts it on his page,
- 21:35Speaker 10: his followers are going to pay attention to that.
- 21:37Speaker 6: Two.
- 21:37Speaker 10: He doesn't just DJ at the club, he actually sits
- 21:40Speaker 10: in the space that is his own that you're like, Nah,
- 21:43Speaker 10: if you want somebody you call what's his name for that?
- 21:45Speaker 1: He's a specialist. He ain't just all yeah.
- 21:48Speaker 10: I could DJ reggae party, or I could DJ your
- 21:51Speaker 10: hip hop party, or I could DJ R and.
- 21:53Speaker 1: B party, or your afrobeach. I could do that too,
- 21:55Speaker 1: But what is your specialty? What do you do?
- 21:57Speaker 11: Great was her name posted regarding the DJ You know
- 22:02Speaker 11: jan thing that day. Half of the DJs they don't
- 22:05Speaker 11: even post where they're gonna be at. They don't even
- 22:09Speaker 11: promote where they're gonna be at. Okay, and at the
- 22:11Speaker 11: same token to I blame ownership. You know, they used
- 22:15Speaker 11: to be from New York. There were some DJs that
- 22:17Speaker 11: die hard followers.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Oh what's the.
- 22:19Speaker 11: Name is gonna be here? Sn that's gonna be here,
- 22:21Speaker 11: Kick is gonna be here, Fle's gonna be here, Social
- 22:23Speaker 11: is gonna be here Atlanta. The DJs never bothered to
- 22:27Speaker 11: promote it themselves. As the same token, ownership never bothered
- 22:32Speaker 11: to promote the DJs. So, as a DJ, as your
- 22:36Speaker 11: name is your brand, you have to create your own
- 22:38Speaker 11: brand and you followers and when you DJing true to
- 22:43Speaker 11: be told, take it as your skills to that.
- 22:47Speaker 3: You guys say, what what determines you guys getting the
- 22:50Speaker 3: fee that you want?
- 22:51Speaker 9: And you see the cat right now, let's start back.
- 23:03Speaker 9: I'm gonna run ri that same that same guy. That
- 23:06Speaker 9: same guy set up there and told me the steps
- 23:08Speaker 9: that it was gonna take to be one of these
- 23:11Speaker 9: quote unquote top DJs while I was already traveling the
- 23:14Speaker 9: world DJing for different artists. See what one thing gotta
- 23:16Speaker 9: feel realize about the Atlanta is why Alanta is not
- 23:19Speaker 9: the home in the mecca of southern DJs due to
- 23:21Speaker 9: the fact that you have so many DJs here. This
- 23:24Speaker 9: didn't start with just us. This ship been going on
- 23:26Speaker 9: since Drama Mars, all of them when they watched them
- 23:29Speaker 9: at the clubs.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Because determined what determines getting the DJ defeat that they want.
- 23:35Speaker 9: He said, he just popped it on them. He popped
- 23:37Speaker 9: it on the podcast. And that's not the case. Everything
- 23:40Speaker 9: that he said is factual, your skill set, all that
- 23:43Speaker 9: shit is. But if that's the case, then why are
- 23:45Speaker 9: we not the highest paid DJ? How many people blake
- 23:48Speaker 9: unperform in front of on the regular? How many folks'll
- 23:51Speaker 9: perform in front of the regular? How many folks, Why
- 23:52Speaker 9: an't performing perform in front of you know what? You
- 23:55Speaker 9: know what and you know what what what these promoters
- 23:58Speaker 9: told me you DJ for them?
- 23:59Speaker 6: Artists don't matter. So at the end of the day,
- 24:01Speaker 6: how you're gonna get on the podcast and say that?
- 24:03Speaker 9: But then when you I've had promoters tell me, bro,
- 24:05Speaker 9: you being a little one DJ don't matter to us.
- 24:08Speaker 9: Hi don't because at the end of the day, you're
- 24:10Speaker 9: gonna be quick to tell some about this little one
- 24:12Speaker 9: DJ DJ my party. If I'm killing it, bitch, you
- 24:14Speaker 9: gonna pop this shit. I ain't coming in town and
- 24:17Speaker 9: you're gonna be like, shit, ain't gonna pull up. Why
- 24:18Speaker 9: would I tell this man to pull up?
- 24:19Speaker 1: Brother?
- 24:20Speaker 9: You are paying me beyond the bottle, girls, the ballet.
- 24:23Speaker 9: Everybody's leaving more money than me, and I'm entertainment for
- 24:26Speaker 9: the night.
- 24:26Speaker 6: Stop.
- 24:27Speaker 7: I say skill, skill, skill first in their resume.
- 24:31Speaker 4: The reason why I don't say resume first because it's
- 24:33Speaker 4: a lot of niggas that DJ for artists that cannot
- 24:35Speaker 4: DJ clubs. So you can say you DJ for the
- 24:38Speaker 4: biggest artists, but you can't rock a club both. So
- 24:40Speaker 4: I'm not gonna put the resume first. But it's just
- 24:43Speaker 4: your talent, just overall talent. If I can come in
- 24:46Speaker 4: and god damn, I know each each table.
- 24:50Speaker 5: Is two bottles, two bottles, two bttles. And I see
- 24:52Speaker 5: these niggas popping six eight ten.
- 24:53Speaker 6: That's my work.
- 24:54Speaker 7: I don't give a fuck what you say.
- 24:56Speaker 6: That's my work.
- 24:56Speaker 7: These niggas is spending. They work from a thousand to
- 24:59Speaker 7: ten thousand.
- 25:00Speaker 8: Where is my Some of the people be your friends
- 25:02Speaker 8: to that coming to club.
- 25:03Speaker 1: To watch all that.
- 25:05Speaker 2: You're coming to DJ.
- 25:07Speaker 7: So been there talent.
- 25:09Speaker 1: We don't get paid for that though.
- 25:11Speaker 5: But I will say this though, I think and hear
- 25:16Speaker 5: me out, it's gonna sound crazy. I think, especially in Atlanta,
- 25:24Speaker 5: the promoter fucked everything up, from creative parties to booking
- 25:32Speaker 5: DJs to booking their partners. And that's the worst thing
- 25:36Speaker 5: about it, though, Like you can be the greatest DJ
- 25:39Speaker 5: of all time, but if you're not going to the
- 25:42Speaker 5: promoter's day party tomorrow, facts and he don't want to
- 25:45Speaker 5: ride promoter. And that's the biggest thing. Like I can
- 25:48Speaker 5: honestly say, bro, and I'm just be honest with y'all. Bro,
- 25:51Speaker 5: I finessed a lot of these niggas period.
- 25:55Speaker 3: You don't want me to cut that out.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I finished them, Bro, keep it in. It don't matter.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I understood. I understan. Listen, Bro, this is real. I
- 26:02Speaker 1: understood what these niggas was on.
- 26:04Speaker 6: Bro. What you mean by you finessity?
- 26:07Speaker 5: I know y'all not my friends for real, my nigga.
- 26:11Speaker 5: Y'all want the niggas to keep the ball ball. Y'all
- 26:13Speaker 5: wanted me to come to these day part cool. Guess
- 26:15Speaker 5: what because I got a plan and an elevation plan
- 26:17Speaker 5: to get the fuck up out of here so I
- 26:20Speaker 5: don't have to. You can say, oh, yeah, a nigga
- 26:21Speaker 5: being faking. No, it's not, bro, like what what what?
- 26:24Speaker 6: The teacher was just saying, this is what business business.
- 26:27Speaker 5: If it's six billionaires right across the street, you're gonna
- 26:30Speaker 5: go over there and hand your business right and be
- 26:31Speaker 5: around to get some game.
- 26:33Speaker 1: So at the end of the day, Bro, I understood that.
- 26:35Speaker 5: Okay, all I gotta do is go to these niggas,
- 26:38Speaker 5: go to this day party, and he gonna book you.
- 26:46Speaker 1: It burn Brouse. Guess guess what happens?
- 26:49Speaker 5: Though, how many times this happened both, y'all, I can
- 26:51Speaker 5: count two million times.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Guess what we go to these parties. You not DJing?
- 26:56Speaker 1: What does everybody say while you at the party?
- 26:59Speaker 6: Why you not do?
- 27:00Speaker 1: That's another thing?
- 27:01Speaker 4: Yeah, because you gotta step on your niggas too. I
- 27:05Speaker 4: came from stepping, so sometimes that's just what you gotta do.
- 27:08Speaker 4: You gotta show these niggas. I'm not one of the
- 27:10Speaker 4: ones you play with.
- 27:11Speaker 1: But you know what fucked up about that?
- 27:12Speaker 6: Though?
- 27:12Speaker 1: I hate that that right on there.
- 27:13Speaker 6: But at the same time, though, I think that's the
- 27:15Speaker 6: DJ culture. That's what we do. You know what I'm saying.
- 27:17Speaker 9: But here's the up part about it though, And it's
- 27:19Speaker 9: just moving quick on it. Like, Bro, how much stepping
- 27:21Speaker 9: do we have to do?
- 27:22Speaker 6: Because at the end of the day, our whole life
- 27:24Speaker 6: is stepping. Bro.
- 27:25Speaker 1: And I raise my hand, can I join?
- 27:26Speaker 3: Because I actually did convert from hosting the DJ And
- 27:29Speaker 3: do you know I don't dj no more.
- 27:32Speaker 6: I can't get my fee, the money, you can't get nothing.
- 27:34Speaker 1: That's why I don't DJ today.
- 27:36Speaker 2: I want a minimum five hundred dollars and can't.
- 27:38Speaker 6: Even get a minimum of five hundred dollars.
- 27:40Speaker 3: And you're it's people that I know that are DJs too,
- 27:45Speaker 3: undercutting me. So the owner is gonna say, hey, Ferrari,
- 27:49Speaker 3: We've got time. I got one more question, samn BT
- 27:52Speaker 3: has one more question. Thorry y'all coming back. It's gonna
- 27:55Speaker 3: be a part two.
- 27:56Speaker 8: We all do a part too because it's a lot.
- 28:00Speaker 9: It's Alert DJ podcast hosted by DJ To, DJ T
- 28:03Speaker 9: Little is DJ bond BT and Bar.
- 28:06Speaker 6: We are here from now.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Bottle Alert is cutting what I'm saying.
- 28:11Speaker 2: It's the nigga that we all know taking half and cut.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Me out past popping it to my wife had a
- 28:19Speaker 3: baby one time for baby, I took a break.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I took a break because I deserve a break.
- 28:26Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 28:27Speaker 3: The ship that we do is stressful, man, So I
- 28:29Speaker 3: took a break. I started, I came back. Everybody everybody
- 28:32Speaker 3: hit me man for I don't want to do the
- 28:34Speaker 3: six fifty no more for I don't want to do
- 28:36Speaker 3: the five.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I got got a young nigga doing it for two
- 28:39Speaker 1: fifty ship. I can't come back. Then?
- 28:43Speaker 2: Now I curate my own event? Can I be making quadriple?
- 28:48Speaker 8: And let's be clear, some DJs is DJ for free.
- 28:51Speaker 8: It's some hosts who hosting for first drink.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Meanwhile, the Bottle girls are making three were gonna have
- 28:58Speaker 3: them on the show.
- 29:02Speaker 1: You know what I am, you know what?
- 29:04Speaker 6: Just to be quick on this.
- 29:06Speaker 9: Just has to change, bro, because at the end of
- 29:08Speaker 9: the day, this is one thing I always ask how
- 29:10Speaker 9: everybody had they change?
- 29:11Speaker 6: But think about it.
- 29:13Speaker 9: The bottle girls had they turn, the video vixens had
- 29:17Speaker 9: they turn where they got the super hosting fee. The
- 29:19Speaker 9: goddamn promoters then became the celect hookahs. They they getting
- 29:25Speaker 9: their money. But the DJ that's long lasting in the
- 29:28Speaker 9: club were the last one to get charged.
- 29:30Speaker 1: And we and we are the reason. We are the reason.
- 29:34Speaker 5: If let's to be wrong that you just named Lewis,
- 29:37Speaker 5: if you don't show up the d J, does any
- 29:39Speaker 5: of those people get paid if.
- 29:42Speaker 1: There's no music in the clock get paid? You don't
- 29:46Speaker 1: show up. Canno, Barbie. If you ever be in the
- 29:48Speaker 1: club and you hear if.
- 29:49Speaker 7: For real one hold you, it's over with it up?
- 29:55Speaker 6: I mean, it's all we don't.
- 30:01Speaker 2: I want to get y'all on this clip. This is
- 30:03Speaker 2: a very important clip.
- 30:04Speaker 6: BT got a question, what is your definition of breaking
- 30:07Speaker 6: the record?
- 30:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna let I'm gonna let you Lewis go first.
- 30:11Speaker 6: I'm gonna first ship because I got it. But I
- 30:15Speaker 6: won't go first.
- 30:16Speaker 4: I mean my personal personal definition of breaking the record.
- 30:19Speaker 4: I mean, today's time and ship is different. In twenty
- 30:23Speaker 4: twenty five, you got TikTok, you have Instagram.
- 30:26Speaker 6: Real now it's not gone, but.
- 30:34Speaker 7: Everybody might not agree with me.
- 30:35Speaker 4: But breaking records back then was a you have a
- 30:41Speaker 4: song that you like personally, so I come in everywhere
- 30:46Speaker 4: I go that I'm DJing.
- 30:48Speaker 7: I'm planning the record ten times.
- 30:51Speaker 5: That it might not be back to back back, but
- 30:53Speaker 5: I'm damn near training your brain to enjoy as much
- 30:58Speaker 5: as I do.
- 31:00Speaker 6: So when you leave, you like, damn, what was that
- 31:02Speaker 6: song of play you.
- 31:02Speaker 1: In the club?
- 31:03Speaker 4: Shazama? A song and you hear it's repetitive. It's like
- 31:05Speaker 4: teaching a baby how to fucking walk. You gotta do
- 31:08Speaker 4: it over and over and over and over. But today's time,
- 31:12Speaker 4: it's it's a little different because you got these platforms.
- 31:15Speaker 9: That's so I just seen somebody going in there and
- 31:21Speaker 9: said that, uh, the DJ is not needed because the
- 31:24Speaker 9: DJs don't break records no more. All right, So all
- 31:26Speaker 9: I want you all to know is that long as
- 31:29Speaker 9: people are going out to nightclubs with entertainment with DJs,
- 31:34Speaker 9: the DJ is always gonna break the record because at
- 31:36Speaker 9: the end of the day, everybody not on TikTok, everybody
- 31:39Speaker 9: not on Instagram, and even if they are, everybody aroam
- 31:42Speaker 9: not the same. Everybody don't pay attention and stuff the
- 31:44Speaker 9: same way. And at the same time, it just moved
- 31:46Speaker 9: a certain.
- 31:46Speaker 6: Type of way.
- 31:47Speaker 9: If you if you're a DJ and you're in the
- 31:49Speaker 9: and you're consistently this is the key word, consistently in
- 31:54Speaker 9: a spot somewhere where you have a residency and you're DJing,
- 31:56Speaker 9: you're playing that record on the regular, that's breaking the record.
- 32:00Speaker 9: If you're on the radio on the regular, DJing on
- 32:02Speaker 9: the mix show and you play that in your mix
- 32:04Speaker 9: show every every every mix show because you enjoyed this record,
- 32:07Speaker 9: that's breaking a record. That's, in my opinion, what breaking
- 32:11Speaker 9: a record in today's time is. I don't care that
- 32:12Speaker 9: it'll premiered on social media on all these different pages,
- 32:16Speaker 9: because a DJ is what keeps the record going. That's
- 32:18Speaker 9: what breaks a record. A record breaks when you consistently
- 32:22Speaker 9: play it, continuously play it.
- 32:24Speaker 6: That's what breaking a record is.
- 32:26Speaker 9: But when you get supported the big DJs, that's they're
- 32:30Speaker 9: they're breaking is different. We'll talk about that on the
- 32:32Speaker 9: next one, because it's a different levels to Tom.
- 32:35Speaker 1: You know how you said you just gonna pop your ship.
- 32:37Speaker 1: God damn it, it's time to pop.
- 32:42Speaker 5: Let me tell you, bro, A lot of dj saying
- 32:46Speaker 5: that they break records, Bro, just because you getting on
- 32:48Speaker 5: the record when it when it first come out, or
- 32:50Speaker 5: you're getting on it, you put it on your Instagram
- 32:53Speaker 5: or this artist came and man, you not your niggas
- 32:56Speaker 5: is not breaking records.
- 32:57Speaker 6: Bro.
- 32:58Speaker 5: I got twenty five plaques on my walls from breaking records.
- 33:01Speaker 6: Nigga.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I'll tell you. We're gonna tell y'all niggas how to
- 33:03Speaker 1: do it. Bro. You gotta put your brand on the line, Nigga.
- 33:10Speaker 5: A lot of those records I can literally name, but
- 33:12Speaker 5: I literally put my job on the line.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Like this the hottest ship out, nigga.
- 33:15Speaker 5: I'm DJ Tom. I'm saying this the hottest ship out.
- 33:18Speaker 5: If you don't like it, fuck you get the funk
- 33:20Speaker 5: out of my fire. And guess what, why the fuck
- 33:23Speaker 5: he ran it back? Because it's me Boom play it again.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Do you want to know why Ferrari is such a
- 33:29Speaker 3: big fucking deal because I took all the music out
- 33:31Speaker 3: of the logs. You know, play little Baby, it's my
- 33:34Speaker 3: Dog for thirty minutes was Dad, Me and fly Gout
- 33:37Speaker 3: DC got suspended for six days on the radio. That's
- 33:41Speaker 3: you gotta take chances.
- 33:43Speaker 8: Keep in mind, you remember when when when Baby first
- 33:46Speaker 8: came out, he did the Streets Fest.
- 33:48Speaker 3: And nobody knew who nobody knew who he was. He
- 33:51Speaker 3: had to fight security, gift Is said, and Gift it
- 33:54Speaker 3: brought him out.
- 33:54Speaker 8: Yea early and I and I remember I saw Ferrari
- 33:57Speaker 8: like literally had to like get security have the way
- 34:00Speaker 8: to get him on safe because he's like, Yo, this
- 34:01Speaker 8: dude is next. And then you fast forward a year
- 34:03Speaker 8: later a little bit literally my dog he's headlined the
- 34:07Speaker 8: streets face.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Literally crazy, right.
- 34:09Speaker 5: I want to give your flowers on that too. You're
- 34:12Speaker 5: a real record breaker, bro, DJ and the host. You
- 34:14Speaker 5: really break records.
- 34:15Speaker 9: Bro on the hosting side, I've saen for do amazing
- 34:18Speaker 9: things with breaking records, so you do definitely.
- 34:21Speaker 6: That's why I said.
- 34:22Speaker 9: It kind of goes and it kind of goes into
- 34:25Speaker 9: different different plays because everybody got their way about going
- 34:28Speaker 9: about Perri makeer DJ run their bitch bag thirty times
- 34:32Speaker 9: as he's hosting.
- 34:33Speaker 6: I bring money, though, I always bring money.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I bring niggas money and it's always random to you.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Right now the bag.
- 34:44Speaker 9: We mentioned the bag though, before we mentioned the bag though,
- 34:46Speaker 9: for all you got there, DJs. They think it's about money,
- 34:49Speaker 9: and we're not gonna mention to you all the records
- 34:51Speaker 9: that we even motherfucking broke they had, man, and we
- 34:55Speaker 9: can't even get in touch with the artists no more.
- 34:57Speaker 9: And man, see that's breaking records because it's like we
- 35:00Speaker 9: done broke niggas records and.
- 35:02Speaker 6: We don't even know these folks.
- 35:03Speaker 1: You hear me your real talk? I know we about
- 35:06Speaker 1: to go. Can I just say something good? How many
- 35:09Speaker 1: millionaires you think you've made?
- 35:11Speaker 6: God damn the whole class of two thousand? I say.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Thirty, at least thirty.
- 35:18Speaker 7: I don't know thirty.
- 35:20Speaker 2: We are all thirty.
- 35:22Speaker 1: We're all thirty.
- 35:22Speaker 6: We supported the same thing.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Can we you're doing?
- 35:25Speaker 2: We're doing our jobs?
- 35:27Speaker 1: Well, can we please, bro?
- 35:30Speaker 6: Can one can one of us be a millionaire?
- 35:32Speaker 9: Bro?
- 35:33Speaker 1: Yeah, imagine funneling.
- 35:37Speaker 5: Thirty black men to be millionaires and in our in
- 35:41Speaker 5: our occupation, can't get the payment.
- 35:44Speaker 6: That we deserve.
- 35:46Speaker 1: That's all I asked, BRO.
- 35:47Speaker 2: But we're creating them, but we're we got to figure
- 35:50Speaker 2: out the infrastructure.
- 35:51Speaker 6: You know the infra.
- 35:52Speaker 8: I know what the infrastructure. The infrastructure is these labels,
- 35:56Speaker 8: the labels have the power to create wealth.
- 35:58Speaker 6: They got the budget too.
- 35:59Speaker 8: But the problem is, I remember, I'm not gonna say
- 36:02Speaker 8: the label, but I remember when Ferrari and d C
- 36:05Speaker 8: was interviewing a label executive and he said, who's hot?
- 36:09Speaker 6: Us being just people that want to help artists were
- 36:12Speaker 6: in the room saying this person's hot, this person's hot.
- 36:15Speaker 1: It signed all of them.
- 36:17Speaker 7: And I said, ship, why not put niggas like us
- 36:19Speaker 7: in those You don't know why.
- 36:23Speaker 3: You that's crazy When you get on the label side,
- 36:29Speaker 3: it's very dangerous over there.
- 36:31Speaker 2: I've worked there.
- 36:32Speaker 6: I worked at a label for nine months. It was
- 36:34Speaker 6: very dangerous.
- 36:35Speaker 2: It's a lot of things that happened behind the scenes.
- 36:38Speaker 6: That you go over there and be like, oh nah,
- 36:40Speaker 6: I don't want to be here.
- 36:41Speaker 2: I don't like this, because that's the case why I
- 36:44Speaker 2: had a real label job.
- 36:47Speaker 6: I just didn't like it.
- 36:50Speaker 1: The structure, bro.
- 36:51Speaker 9: But I think I think at the same time, Tom,
- 36:53Speaker 9: I agree with you saying, bro, but this just think
- 36:54Speaker 9: about it like this.
- 36:57Speaker 10: Cool.
- 36:57Speaker 6: It's all good.
- 36:58Speaker 11: Man.
- 36:58Speaker 6: Life goes on.
- 36:59Speaker 9: Man, y'all know these damn job over there though, So
- 37:01Speaker 9: this is the real part of this is what I
- 37:02Speaker 9: just suggest though. Like at the same time, like you said,
- 37:04Speaker 9: you take thirty artists and you take those thirty artists
- 37:07Speaker 9: and they invest or whatever. Bro, it's it's at the
- 37:10Speaker 9: same time one of the biggest questions should go to
- 37:13Speaker 9: from a lot of artists, the DJ's is bro.
- 37:14Speaker 6: So what you're doing up? Like what you're doing with
- 37:16Speaker 6: this shit? Bro?
- 37:17Speaker 9: Like Nigga, you know I ain't gonna be DJing for
- 37:18Speaker 9: the rest of my life. You know it's impossible by
- 37:19Speaker 9: the time I turn fifty. You don't even want to
- 37:21Speaker 9: wrap by the time you didn't hit thirty five, So
- 37:23Speaker 9: why you think DJ in? But at the same time,
- 37:26Speaker 9: you would rather keep coming seeing nigga got damn get
- 37:28Speaker 9: it out of the mud. When you got you sitting
- 37:30Speaker 9: on forty ends of you then about thirteen bitches burkins
- 37:33Speaker 9: for sure facts all right?
- 37:34Speaker 6: So we went to the DJ staff. We could definitely
- 37:37Speaker 6: gonna have a part too. Please.
- 37:39Speaker 3: I want you guys to each go and just talk
- 37:41Speaker 3: about everything you got going on. Tell them how to
