- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie, and Josh.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Fix 100.
- 0:03Speaker 3: National Weather Service says the front range will see another
- 0:06Speaker 3: round of afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Today's the best day
- 0:12Speaker 3: to catch large hail, damaging wind, and heavy rain, and
- 0:17Speaker 3: maybe some flooding. So that's a little later this afternoon
- 0:20Speaker 3: after you're done eating your Lunchables there at work. Maybe
- 0:25Speaker 3: if you park under a tree or something, get a
- 0:28Speaker 3: little closer.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Because you could get dinged up today. So I don't
- 0:32Speaker 3: like that at all.
- 0:33Speaker 5: I don't either.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I don't like hail at all.
- 0:35Speaker 6: The reason I got a garage is because the hail
- 0:38Speaker 6: around here is bananas.
- 0:40Speaker 3: It's bananas.
- 0:42Speaker 1: It is.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Well, if we get a lot of hail today, I
- 0:45Speaker 3: would imagine that you're going to see the social media posts,
- 0:48Speaker 3: people holding their hands out with the hail in them,
- 0:50Speaker 3: you know. The story here, though, says... People are not
- 0:55Speaker 3: really posting on social much anymore. It's pretty much taken
- 0:59Speaker 3: a nosedive. More than half of people say they are
- 1:02Speaker 3: posting less than they did five years ago. And then
- 1:05Speaker 3: many more people are being incredibly selective about what they share.
- 1:09Speaker 3: I'm kind of in that camp right now. I am
- 1:12Speaker 3: not on it at all. I'll hop on and do
- 1:14Speaker 3: a couple things for work. And then, boom, I'm off.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Once you start realizing how much time you're wasting on
- 1:20Speaker 3: the socials, it really makes you reevaluate what you're looking at.
- 1:24Speaker 5: And not only that, but how it makes you feel.
- 1:26Speaker 6: I mean, when you post something on social media and
- 1:29Speaker 6: it doesn't get any traction, why does that make you
- 1:31Speaker 6: feel bad?
- 1:32Speaker 5: Or if it does get traction, then you're like.
- 1:34Speaker 7: looking constantly checking.
- 1:35Speaker 6: It yeah it's just silly but um i've also noticed
- 1:38Speaker 6: like as far as posting i am so selective as
- 1:42Speaker 6: far as what i'm putting out there it it has
- 1:44Speaker 6: changed a lot for me a lot so i would agree.
- 1:47Speaker 3: With that uh like my long eyebrow hair yesterday that'll
- 1:51Speaker 3: definitely give you the feels.
- 1:53Speaker 5: I mean, that was just gross. That was just odd.
- 1:56Speaker 5: And we were all like, what is happening to you?
- 1:57Speaker 3: Very selective on what we post.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Now we'll get you fired up with the Big Shwet
- 2:06Speaker 3: 100 Sports Report. Story out this morning. Ranking the best
- 2:15Speaker 3: sports nicknames of all time.
- 2:21Speaker 7: It's got to be.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I feel like I know who it is.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Do you? Yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Who is it?
- 2:24Speaker 7: Is it The Great One? Wayne Gretzky?
- 2:26Speaker 3: That's got to be the number one. No, actually, it's
- 2:29Speaker 3: Happy Gilmore.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Yes.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Is it really? Are you messing with me?
- 2:34Speaker 3: Dang it, Jeremy. It's Wayne Gretzky.
- 2:35Speaker 6: I was really excited that it was going to be
- 2:38Speaker 6: Happy Gilmore.
- 2:40Speaker 7: This list sucks.
- 2:41Speaker 3: The Great Bambino made the list.
- 2:44Speaker 6: Mr.
- 2:44Speaker 3: October, the big unit. Jokes with that one. Chocolate Thunder,
- 2:48Speaker 3: the big hurt. The Minister of Defense. Diesel for Shaq. Megatron.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Why isn't Air Jordan higher on the list? Air Jordan
- 2:57Speaker 3: should be top three.
- 2:58Speaker 7: I thought that would be top five, top three.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Stone Cold? Give me some Steve Austin at the top
- 3:02Speaker 3: of this list. All the Way May made the list.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Benny the Jet Rodriguez.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Yes.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Smalls and Hamilton Ham Porter also made the list. Okay,
- 3:13Speaker 3: those are good ones.
- 3:14Speaker 5: I appreciate those ones making it. Okay.
- 3:18Speaker 3: And happy Gilmore. Okay, so if you're out exercising, getting
- 3:21Speaker 3: on your fitness today, maybe you're wearing one of those
- 3:25Speaker 3: smart watches, you got a Fitbit on, they've got those
- 3:28Speaker 3: ring now, those rings that you can put on that
- 3:30Speaker 3: track all your activity and biometrics. What if you could
- 3:34Speaker 3: just dump all that, leave it at home, and track
- 3:37Speaker 3: your fitness through your skin? This is pretty neat. Scientists...
- 3:41Speaker 3: have created a wearable paint that you can put directly
- 3:45Speaker 3: onto your skin. It looks kind of like a temporary tattoo.
- 3:48Speaker 3: So you could put something fun on there. Like, I'm
- 3:50Speaker 3: into sharks. I'm going to have a shark tattoo with
- 3:53Speaker 3: this special paint.
- 3:54Speaker 7: Okay.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Anyway, the paint is embedded in the paint is polymer electrodes.
- 4:03Speaker 3: So it tracks your fitness through your skin. They say
- 4:07Speaker 3: it's excellent. at tracking muscle activity, heart rate, even brain waves.
- 4:13Speaker 3: They tested it on people on treadmills and working out
- 4:16Speaker 3: and all that crap, and boom, it shot all the
- 4:18Speaker 3: information to their phones, and they didn't have to wear
- 4:21Speaker 3: any sort of device while they were working out. How
- 4:24Speaker 3: neat is that?
- 4:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean.
- 4:26Speaker 3: It's kind of sketchy to me.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 4:29Speaker 7: I'm a little concerned.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Oh, you get tattoos. You got tattoos all over you.
- 4:32Speaker 3: That's injected into you.
- 4:34Speaker 5: That has been proven over and over and over again.
- 4:36Speaker 6: The tale as old as time now with tattoos.
- 4:40Speaker 3: What's the tale as old as time? Well, people have
- 4:41Speaker 3: done it.
- 4:42Speaker 5: And so we know that it's... Yeah.
- 4:44Speaker 3: And you get hepatitis from it.
- 4:46Speaker 5: So I'm going to let everybody else do this first.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Hepatitis is a tale as old as time, too.
- 4:50Speaker 7: I know, but that's the thing.
- 4:51Speaker 5: That doesn't happen.
- 4:52Speaker 3: This is on top.
- 4:53Speaker 5: They've taken measures to prevent all that.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Yeah, but it soaks into the skin.
- 4:57Speaker 6: The first couple people got hepatitis, maybe, but then they
- 4:59Speaker 6: figured it out.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Like, I'm going to let.
- 5:02Speaker 7: These people figure out.
- 5:03Speaker 3: No more hep.
- 5:03Speaker 5: No more hep.
- 5:04Speaker 3: We've got to wash the needles and then do it again.
- 5:07Speaker 6: See?
- 5:07Speaker 3: We figured it out.
- 5:09Speaker 7: Don't reuse them.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Maybe like the first couple shark tattoos. I'll let you
- 5:13Speaker 5: guys get them.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Listen, it's on top of your skin. You just wash
- 5:16Speaker 3: it off. Your skin absorbs things that are on top
- 5:18Speaker 3: of it. You've got a massive tattoo on your back.
- 5:21Speaker 5: There's electro loads in there or something.
- 5:23Speaker 3: I got your electro load.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Okay. I don't know why you have mine, but okay.
- 5:30Speaker 7: Okay. It just seems a little sketchy to me.
- 5:33Speaker 3: That's all. A little sketchy. That would be my sports name, actually. Electroload?
- 5:38Speaker 3: Jeremy the Electroload.
- 5:40Speaker 7: His.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Ew. What?
- 5:43Speaker 6: El.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:45Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 5:47Speaker 7: You do it first. Let us know how it goes.
- 5:49Speaker 8: Yeah, exactly.
- 5:49Speaker 1: All right.
- 5:50Speaker 3: What else you got?
- 5:51Speaker 6: All right.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Well, the World Humanoid Robot Games happened a few days
- 5:53Speaker 2: ago in Beijing, China. And I don't like this. These
- 5:57Speaker 2: humanoid robots are becoming... so lifelike they actually did the
- 6:02Speaker 2: 100 meter dash and one of those robots beat Usain
- 6:05Speaker 2: Bolt's record of 9.58 seconds like that is a smashed
- 6:10Speaker 2: world record and this humanoid robot beat it in 9.39
- 6:14Speaker 2: seconds so he crushed that one some things that are
- 6:17Speaker 2: funny about this that kind of made the news as
- 6:19Speaker 2: well is the robots aren't good at stopping yet they're
- 6:22Speaker 2: really good at going and they get to where they're
- 6:25Speaker 2: going fast but they don't stop very well and one
- 6:27Speaker 2: of them smashed into a wall and And actually broke
- 6:30Speaker 2: into like 100 pieces and sparks were flying everywhere.
- 6:32Speaker 7: So they're working on that.
- 6:34Speaker 2: But I think this is just going to lead to
- 6:35Speaker 2: a future that we're just going to be watching robots
- 6:38Speaker 2: do everything.
- 6:38Speaker 7: Robot football.
- 6:40Speaker 6: No.
- 6:40Speaker 7: Robot boxing.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Yeah, why not? I'm not a fan of that. It'll
- 6:43Speaker 3: help reduce brain damage in these athletes.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Yeah, but you know.
- 6:46Speaker 7: Okay, that's another thing.
- 6:47Speaker 2: You know if you are an athlete of a high caliber,
- 6:49Speaker 2: you know what you're getting yourself into. Like you kind
- 6:51Speaker 2: of sign up for that. We know enough now that
- 6:54Speaker 2: there is possibilities of.
- 6:56Speaker 3: It's like the tattoos. We know enough.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 6:59Speaker 7: That's also true. But I don't like this. I don't
- 7:01Speaker 7: want to watch robots in my future.
- 7:03Speaker 5: I don't either.
- 7:03Speaker 6: I mean, the thing is, is it takes such dedication
- 7:06Speaker 6: to be an athlete at that level.
- 7:08Speaker 5: You train your whole life. And if you just build
- 7:10Speaker 5: a robot who's going to be a D1 athlete, the
- 7:13Speaker 5: minute it comes out of the.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Box, that's not.
- 7:15Speaker 1: It's not fun. It's not interesting.
- 7:16Speaker 3: From what I understand, you've got a D1 athlete in
- 7:18Speaker 3: your nightstand, so... Why are you so mad at the robots?
- 7:24Speaker 5: You know what? They've earned that right, too.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Don't act like you're against robots. I've heard your stories.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Shut up. That also sparks a lot. Shut up, Jeremy.
- 7:36Speaker 3: What's blowing up?
- 7:37Speaker 5: We've got receipts.
- 7:40Speaker 3: We've got drama.
- 7:41Speaker 5: We've got Denver talking.
- 7:42Speaker 3: It's the Mile High Hype.
- 7:44Speaker 1: With JKJ.
- 7:45Speaker 7: Legends and icons.
- 7:47Speaker 5: On Mix 100.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Well, it is time to talk about everything that is
- 7:50Speaker 3: trending this morning, all brought to you by Mountain High Appliance,
- 7:53Speaker 3: where you can get amazing savings throughout all their showrooms,
- 7:56Speaker 3: whether you're replacing one appliance or you're remodeling an entire kitchen.
- 7:59Speaker 3: You can find top brands and expert advice. All you
- 8:02Speaker 3: have to do is go to mountainhighappliance.com. Talk about the
- 8:07Speaker 3: oversaturation of heaven today.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:12Speaker 3: May she rest.
- 8:14Speaker 5: That was very sad news yesterday.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Well, I am definitely heartbroken about it. Obviously, if you've
- 8:19Speaker 3: listened to this show for many years, I've always had a...
- 8:21Speaker 3: It's a very tongue-in-cheek segment regarding Dolly Parton and the
- 8:26Speaker 3: oversaturation of Dolly Parton because she truly was everywhere. We
- 8:30Speaker 3: just talked about her on Monday because she was coming
- 8:33Speaker 3: out with her own line of dog treats.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 3: She had now expanded her brand into dog treats. So
- 8:39Speaker 3: I had some fun with Dolly over the years, but
- 8:41Speaker 3: truly one of my most favorite celebrities of all time.
- 8:45Speaker 6: I mean, who doesn't love Dolly? She just did so
- 8:48Speaker 6: many good things.
- 8:49Speaker 3: An icon, right?
- 8:50Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 8:50Speaker 3: An icon, and I think that's why I brought her
- 8:52Speaker 3: up on the show so much, because everybody loved her.
- 8:57Speaker 3: You never heard anybody say a bad thing about Dolly Parton,
- 9:00Speaker 3: and to get that news yesterday was kind of like
- 9:03Speaker 3: a punch in the gut for a lot of people.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Social media was flooded with stuff about Dolly. She did
- 9:10Speaker 3: face a brief battle with cancer, it sounds like. Passed
- 9:14Speaker 3: away in the hospital. Do I have, is this her nephew?
- 9:16Speaker 4: No.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Actually, I want to play you this really quick. I
- 9:20Speaker 3: pulled this little clip of Dolly. Here you go.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Hold on.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I swear I know what I'm doing.
- 9:28Speaker 6: All right, here.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Here's some dog.
- 9:29Speaker 4: You are enough, and anyone who tells you otherwise isn't
- 9:33Speaker 4: worth your time.
- 9:34Speaker 6: You got this.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Yes, I'm talking to you.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Other people didn't always believe in me, and in those times,
- 9:40Speaker 4: I had to believe in myself. Plus, nothing's better than
- 9:44Speaker 4: proving people wrong. Make a list of the things you
- 9:47Speaker 4: love about yourself. They can be big or small, like
- 9:51Speaker 4: I cook a mean chicken pot pie, or I'm a
- 9:55Speaker 4: great mom. And if you tell yourself enough nice things, eventually...
- 10:00Speaker 4: you'll believe them too.
- 10:01Speaker 3: She's like a total ray of sunshine, right? Did you
- 10:04Speaker 3: see all of her quotes?
- 10:05Speaker 5: I love it.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Like, I love that she is remembered so kindly. And
- 10:10Speaker 6: she did so many good things while she was here
- 10:12Speaker 6: that that's how people are going to remember her.
- 10:14Speaker 5: I saw Dr. Seuss, the page on Facebook, posted something.
- 10:18Speaker 6: And they talked about her imagination library where she gifted
- 10:22Speaker 6: over 300 million books to children around the world. And
- 10:25Speaker 6: they were like, from one literary icon to another, we
- 10:27Speaker 6: will always love you, Dolly. So everybody was showing the
- 10:31Speaker 6: love for Dolly Parton and continues to do so today.
- 10:34Speaker 3: I saw Denver got about three and a half million
- 10:36Speaker 3: of those books, too. So we definitely got a piece
- 10:38Speaker 3: of that. There was some stuff floating around yesterday. I
- 10:40Speaker 3: was doing my research on it that says they were
- 10:43Speaker 3: saying that Dolly Parton gave away more than $ 500 million
- 10:46Speaker 3: over her lifetime. I'm sure. That is difficult to independently
- 10:50Speaker 3: verify the total that she's given away. But, yes, the
- 10:54Speaker 3: Imagination Library, the Dolly Parton Foundation for Education. She paid
- 11:01Speaker 3: for a bunch of kids to stay in school and
- 11:03Speaker 3: go to college. She helped Tennessee wildfire victims. She helped
- 11:08Speaker 3: with the COVID vaccine research. children's medical research, women's health care,
- 11:14Speaker 3: children's hospitals, wildlife conservation and The list goes on and
- 11:18Speaker 3: on and on.
- 11:19Speaker 5: It does.
- 11:20Speaker 3: And they say she still had something like a $ 700 million,
- 11:25Speaker 3: what do they call that, net worth when she passed.
- 11:28Speaker 3: So what a true giver, though.
- 11:30Speaker 6: Well, and she did so much of it anonymously, so
- 11:33Speaker 6: we don't even know how much she actually gave. She
- 11:36Speaker 6: was so humble about it. She didn't want people to
- 11:38Speaker 6: know that she was doing that.
- 11:40Speaker 3: That's the way you do it. That is the way
- 11:41Speaker 3: you do it. CBS is airing an hour-long special tonight
- 11:45Speaker 3: at 10 o'clock to pay tribute to Dolly. So that's
- 11:48Speaker 3: probably 8 o'clock our time is what I'm guessing. Anyway,
- 11:52Speaker 3: so if you want to watch that. If we have
- 11:54Speaker 3: time here after... the hype. I'm going to play a
- 11:57Speaker 3: little dolly too.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Good.
- 11:59Speaker 3: It's one of my personal favorites as we should. Yeah,
- 12:02Speaker 3: I think so. Yeah, we need to do it. All right.
- 12:04Speaker 3: I'm going to hold onto the weatherman stuff for later.
- 12:06Speaker 3: It just doesn't feel right.
- 12:07Speaker 6: Okay. All right.
- 12:08Speaker 3: What else you got?
- 12:08Speaker 6: All right. Well, we're going to talk about schools, uh,
- 12:10Speaker 6: just because they've got, uh, some schools consolidating now, Boulder
- 12:14Speaker 6: Valley school district. They're proposing this plan to close six schools,
- 12:19Speaker 6: consolidate for school buildings and reduce the district's overall capacity. Now, Anna,
- 12:25Speaker 6: she's a mom, she's got kids in Superior, and she says,
- 12:29Speaker 6: you know, it's probably going to affect her kids.
- 12:32Speaker 5: She's just hoping it's going to turn out okay.
- 12:34Speaker 8: You know, I'm not thrilled, but I do appreciate the
- 12:37Speaker 8: work that they've put into it. As long as they
- 12:39Speaker 8: use the resources and the space well, and our classes
- 12:42Speaker 8: don't get huge, and they take care of the teachers,
- 12:45Speaker 8: then fine.
- 12:46Speaker 6: Okay. And, you know, the district, they're trying to do
- 12:48Speaker 6: the best they can as well. They're working on staffing
- 12:51Speaker 6: and transportation plans. Because hundreds of students could change schools
- 12:55Speaker 6: under this proposal as early as next year. So we're
- 12:59Speaker 6: looking at a big shift in schools. And a lot
- 13:01Speaker 6: of that reason, I mean, the kids are just not
- 13:03Speaker 6: being born.
- 13:05Speaker 3: People ain't doing it and doing it and doing it well.
- 13:07Speaker 5: They don't have the kids to fill the schools.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Get your freak on.
- 13:10Speaker 6: And so it's like as much as people, because I
- 13:13Speaker 6: hear people giving the schools a hard time.
- 13:15Speaker 5: And it's like they're just trying to.
- 13:17Speaker 6: Get ahead of this problem that we've been seeing for
- 13:20Speaker 6: years in Colorado.
- 13:22Speaker 5: So hopefully this does.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Something to alleviate all of that. But another thing that
- 13:26Speaker 6: they're looking at doing right now is Denver Water considering
- 13:30Speaker 6: a full ban on watering because of the drought. So
- 13:33Speaker 6: right now they're down to two times a week, and
- 13:36Speaker 6: they are set to decide today whether to ban its 1.5
- 13:39Speaker 6: million units.
- 13:41Speaker 5: Customers from all lawn watering.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Starting in October as drought conditions continue.
- 13:48Speaker 5: Across the region.
- 13:49Speaker 6: I did read a story that says El Nino is
- 13:51Speaker 6: supposed to bring a lot more moisture this fall.
- 13:54Speaker 5: We are supposed to get hit.
- 13:56Speaker 6: Hopefully that helps us a little bit, but 90% of
- 13:59Speaker 6: the state, I believe, is in a drought right now.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Do you see pictures of Lake Dillon right now? You
- 14:04Speaker 3: can walk out into the middle of it with your
- 14:06Speaker 3: metal detector.
- 14:07Speaker 5: It's shocking and it's sad.
- 14:09Speaker 3: And yeah, I mean, again, they said the lake has
- 14:12Speaker 3: looked like that before. It's like, you know, this is
- 14:15Speaker 3: it goes up and down.
- 14:16Speaker 6: But again, something they have to get ahead of, though,
- 14:19Speaker 6: because if it's like that and they're just letting people
- 14:21Speaker 6: water whenever they want, like then it's going.
- 14:24Speaker 5: To get worse. So this is something, again, I just
- 14:26Speaker 5: I feel like they have to get ahead of it.
- 14:28Speaker 3: This is probably something where they're going to ban like
- 14:29Speaker 3: washing your cars and stuff to outside, I would imagine.
- 14:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:32Speaker 5: I imagine.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Scary.
- 14:33Speaker 2: All right.
- 14:33Speaker 6: And then just one more, because this is happening today,
- 14:36Speaker 6: coming up later, the world-famous Waffle Wednesday. So this is
- 14:39Speaker 6: Battery 61 off Calamith Street. And so they've got a
- 14:42Speaker 6: breakfast mixer and International Dog Day party on the roof deck.
- 14:46Speaker 6: So the event is free and open to people and dogs.
- 14:49Speaker 6: And they've got a local artist there that's going to
- 14:51Speaker 6: be painting portraits of your dogs.
- 14:53Speaker 5: And that money is going to go.
- 14:54Speaker 6: Towards Foothills Animal Shelters Community Room in Golden. They're going
- 14:59Speaker 6: to paint a mural there at the community room in Golden.
- 15:02Speaker 5: So if you can go and.
- 15:03Speaker 6: Support them at Battery 61 off Kalamath Street again in Denver,
- 15:08Speaker 6: do so today.
- 15:09Speaker 3: So there you go.
- 15:09Speaker 5: There's your Mount High hype.
- 15:10Speaker 3: All right. So Dolly is on record as saying that
- 15:14Speaker 3: she was driving around with her husband, Carl Dean, in
- 15:18Speaker 3: their car, their convertible, back in 1993. And this rock
- 15:21Speaker 3: hit came on the radio. And she's like, I like
- 15:25Speaker 3: this collective soul. So she did a bluegrass rendition of Shine,
- 15:32Speaker 3: and she ended up winning a Grammy for it for
- 15:35Speaker 3: Best Female Country Vocal Performance, and it is by far
- 15:39Speaker 3: one of my most favorite Dolly songs. I'm a 90s
- 15:43Speaker 3: alternative slut anyway.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Well, collective soul, I mean, there it is.
- 15:47Speaker 3: I mean, come on. So for the next three minutes
- 15:50Speaker 3: and 41 seconds, we'll let Dolly wow you this morning
- 15:54Speaker 3: with Jeremy, Katie, and Josh.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie, and Josh.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Mix 100.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Now, if you were listening yesterday, quick update. I got
- 16:04Speaker 3: a new vehicle. I'm really excited about it.
- 16:07Speaker 5: It looks nice.
- 16:09Speaker 3: I'm back in the big truck, so that makes me
- 16:11Speaker 3: so incredibly happy. But I took a page from Katie,
- 16:17Speaker 3: of all people.
- 16:18Speaker 6: Wait, what?
- 16:19Speaker 3: Of all people.
- 16:20Speaker 7: What?
- 16:21Speaker 3: I was thinking about you last night. You were running
- 16:25Speaker 3: through my mind.
- 16:26Speaker 6: Okay.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I was like, I wonder what Katie's doing. I wonder
- 16:29Speaker 3: what her car's doing right now. because you know she's
- 16:34Speaker 3: sitting on her couch eating I was like yeah she's
- 16:36Speaker 3: down on her couch she's taking a nap in her hammock.
- 16:38Speaker 5: For sure especially at night she's bloated.
- 16:40Speaker 3: With her hand down in front of her pants scratching
- 16:42Speaker 3: herself scratching herself I said.
- 16:44Speaker 6: Lovely image so when you got your new car a
- 16:48Speaker 6: couple months ago you went out and the very first
- 16:51Speaker 6: thing you ordered was a club.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Well, that's not completely true. It came with the club.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Well, roll with me.
- 16:56Speaker 7: It's okay.
- 16:56Speaker 5: I'm sorry. It had a club.
- 16:59Speaker 3: So it's got the club.
- 16:59Speaker 6: But I use it every single day, religiously, wherever I go.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Super paranoid.
- 17:04Speaker 6: Wherever I go, I put this club on my car.
- 17:06Speaker 6: I was putting it on the car after I parked
- 17:08Speaker 6: it in my garage.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Excessive.
- 17:09Speaker 5: And I was like, well, that's a little much.
- 17:11Speaker 6: So I stopped doing that, but I really do. I
- 17:13Speaker 6: do it here, and people make fun of me because
- 17:15Speaker 6: they think I'm not making fun of you ever again.
- 17:16Speaker 6: This isn't a neighborhood for your car to get stolen.
- 17:18Speaker 6: I know.
- 17:19Speaker 5: I'm like, that's how people get their car stolen.
- 17:20Speaker 3: It's Lone Tree, but there's still theft and stuff that
- 17:23Speaker 3: goes down in Lone Tree. That's why they got mall
- 17:25Speaker 3: security around Park Meadows. Exactly. Things go down. Things do.
- 17:28Speaker 3: There's perps everywhere.
- 17:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:29Speaker 3: So last night, I got onto the Zahn, and it's
- 17:32Speaker 3: going to arrive this morning. I got a club.
- 17:35Speaker 5: You got yourself a club.
- 17:36Speaker 3: I don't care. We're going to be like little old
- 17:40Speaker 3: 70-year-old people putting the club on the Buick before we
- 17:43Speaker 3: go in shopping.
- 17:44Speaker 6: They say that the club, not only does it do
- 17:47Speaker 6: its job and it prevents people from stealing your vehicle,
- 17:50Speaker 6: the mere presence of it is enough.
- 17:52Speaker 5: For people to be like, I ain't got time to
- 17:54Speaker 5: deal with that today.
- 17:55Speaker 3: This is going to be too much of a hassle.
- 17:57Speaker 5: That's exactly what they think.
- 17:58Speaker 6: So just seeing the club on your vehicle is enough
- 18:01Speaker 6: for robbers to be like, Not today.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, we're clubbing for sure. So when people ask if like, hey,
- 18:07Speaker 3: you guys club? We're like, yeah, we club all day long.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Share the club. We've been clubbing for a long time.
- 18:14Speaker 3: So I don't care. I don't care what people think
- 18:16Speaker 3: of me. I don't care what my coworkers think of me.
- 18:18Speaker 3: I'm going to be putting the club on.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Yeah, it feels good, too.
- 18:22Speaker 6: And not only that, but now I've gotten into the
- 18:25Speaker 6: process of putting that club on in like 10 seconds
- 18:28Speaker 6: or less.
- 18:28Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, you can quick it.
- 18:29Speaker 3: It's like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, done.
- 18:31Speaker 5: Like changing tires. Like I am on it.
- 18:35Speaker 3: I'm actually going to even step it up. I'm going
- 18:37Speaker 3: to put two clubs on. Crisscross. I'm going to crisscross
- 18:40Speaker 3: applesauce that on the steering wheel.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Try to take it. Come at me, bruh. Try to
- 18:44Speaker 3: take it. Suck it.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:46Speaker 7: Club life.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Oh, my God. The amount of anxiety in this studio
- 18:52Speaker 3: is ridiculous.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Over the past couple days, my God. I know when
- 18:58Speaker 3: I'm driving into work, I'm like, I want to hear
- 19:00Speaker 3: about what outfit I'm going to wear to wine time.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Have you guys picked out your clothes yet? What kind
- 19:06Speaker 5: of shirt?
- 19:07Speaker 3: What color socks.
- 19:08Speaker 7: Are you going to wear?
- 19:09Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Is this what it's like to be
- 19:13Speaker 3: a woman?
- 19:13Speaker 5: Yes, and that's what I want to say.
- 19:15Speaker 6: It's so much more in-depth for me to pick out
- 19:18Speaker 6: my outfit than it is for you.
- 19:20Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Dress, heels, done. Out the door.
- 19:24Speaker 6: I have tried on so many different dresses. Last night, again,
- 19:28Speaker 6: I went to go shopping to try and find something.
- 19:31Speaker 5: I already have the heels, so I'm trying to create
- 19:33Speaker 5: the outfit around the heels.
- 19:34Speaker 3: What do your heels look like?
- 19:35Speaker 5: They're red and beautiful.
- 19:37Speaker 6: They're so pretty, and I got my nails done to
- 19:40Speaker 6: match the heels, so the dress.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Has to go with everything.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Now, I got to ask you something.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yes.
- 19:45Speaker 3: I'm a little concerned about your nails. I'm going to
- 19:47Speaker 3: give you something else to freak out about.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Why?
- 19:48Speaker 3: I feel like you got your nails. done too early.
- 19:50Speaker 5: It's two days away.
- 19:51Speaker 3: What do you mean? You got two days to chip
- 19:53Speaker 3: them up. This is gel.
- 19:54Speaker 7: And we ain't chipping.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Ah, you got the gel.
- 19:56Speaker 7: We ain't chipping.
- 19:57Speaker 3: A little UV light on there.
- 19:58Speaker 5: Paid extra for the gel.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Hard as concrete.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Yes.
- 20:01Speaker 3: I'm familiar with the gel.
- 20:03Speaker 6: You know.
- 20:04Speaker 3: But you're kind of clumsy. No, it's gonna be fine.
- 20:07Speaker 3: It's gonna be fine. If anything, I am just... Let
- 20:09Speaker 3: me see your thumb.
- 20:10Speaker 5: No, my thumbs.
- 20:11Speaker 6: It's my little spatula thumb. I have two different thumbs.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Remember? Oh, there it is.
- 20:16Speaker 5: It's a mutant.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's my mutation. Well, I am concerned that they're
- 20:20Speaker 3: going to get chipped up, but that's a nice color.
- 20:23Speaker 6: It is.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 20:23Speaker 6: And so I'm trying to, you know, create the outfit
- 20:27Speaker 6: around the nails and the shoes. And so yesterday I
- 20:30Speaker 6: was in a store and I was trying on six
- 20:33Speaker 6: different dresses and Six dresses.
- 20:35Speaker 3: You bougie.
- 20:36Speaker 5: I picked out to try. I took pictures. I'm trying
- 20:39Speaker 5: to get some feedback on it.
- 20:40Speaker 6: And it's funny because my favorite dress, the favorite one,
- 20:43Speaker 6: the one that fit me the best and everything, I
- 20:45Speaker 6: totally look like.
- 20:45Speaker 5: A little hoe.
- 20:46Speaker 3: You're looking like a hoe.
- 20:47Speaker 7: I do.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Oh. Well, you got to go with the hoe dress.
- 20:51Speaker 5: The girls are out. But it made me feel good. Like,
- 20:54Speaker 5: I was like, ooh.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Katie.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Is that the one you're going to wear?
- 20:58Speaker 5: So far, that's the winner.
- 20:59Speaker 3: After all this anxiety.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Here's the thing.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Katie.
- 21:02Speaker 5: I bought the hoe dress.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Did you?
- 21:05Speaker 5: I sure did.
- 21:06Speaker 3: What color is the hoe?
- 21:07Speaker 5: There's only one left.
- 21:07Speaker 3: We've got to stop saying hoe.
- 21:08Speaker 7: I know.
- 21:08Speaker 3: What color is that dress?
- 21:10Speaker 5: It's cream colored. You're a creamy hoe.
- 21:12Speaker 1: It matches.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Okay.
- 21:16Speaker 3: I've got a new nickname for you all night at
- 21:19Speaker 3: wine time. No, you don't. Where's that creamy hole at?
- 21:21Speaker 5: No, you don't have a nickname for me.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Can we get some pictures for that creamy hole?
- 21:28Speaker 1: No.
- 21:29Speaker 5: No, you can't. But I am excited.
- 21:33Speaker 7: I love.
- 21:34Speaker 5: When we get to get dressed up like this.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fine.
- 21:37Speaker 5: I really do.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Listen, we've got clients and stuff that are going to
- 21:40Speaker 3: be at this thing, too, on Friday night.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I know.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Mix 100's wine time. Buy your tickets now at mix100. com.
- 21:45Speaker 3: So you've got to be careful you're not hoeing it
- 21:47Speaker 3: up too much.
- 21:48Speaker 5: Exactly. There's a level.
- 21:51Speaker 6: There's a level that you can attain and you want
- 21:53Speaker 6: to avoid at the same time.
- 21:55Speaker 5: So I'm really trying to balance that out.
- 21:59Speaker 3: How were the other dresses? Why weren't they.
- 22:02Speaker 6: It's funny because I picked out some other ones, and
- 22:05Speaker 6: there was one that was like a plaid-looking thing, and
- 22:08Speaker 6: it looked like a librarian. There was a brown dress
- 22:11Speaker 6: that was nice, but I just.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Didn't like it.
- 22:14Speaker 7: Brown with the red?
- 22:15Speaker 5: No, exactly. And it had pockets on the front, and
- 22:18Speaker 5: I didn't love that.
- 22:19Speaker 6: And then there was a leather dress where I was like,
- 22:22Speaker 6: are we wearing?
- 22:23Speaker 3: It's going to be in the 90s. I will say
- 22:25Speaker 3: it's going to be.
- 22:25Speaker 7: In the 90s.
- 22:26Speaker 5: But I was just, are we wearing leather again?
- 22:28Speaker 6: It was in the normal dresses, not even on the
- 22:31Speaker 6: clearance racks.
- 22:32Speaker 7: Yeah, maybe.
- 22:33Speaker 3: To the club.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Wait a second.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Yeah, to the club maybe.
- 22:36Speaker 6: So, yeah, it's just so much more in-depth than I'm
- 22:39Speaker 6: going to wear this shirt and these pants and.
- 22:42Speaker 3: These are my dress shoes. It's so funny because, like,
- 22:44Speaker 3: for me, I haven't thought a second about what I'm
- 22:47Speaker 3: going to wear. It's going to be a game-time decision.
- 22:49Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, we've got to be there at 6?
- 22:51Speaker 3: All right, 5 o'clock. What am I ironing really quick?
- 22:53Speaker 3: I know, exactly. What do I need to throw on?
- 22:55Speaker 5: There's so much more into it.
- 22:57Speaker 3: I honestly have not thought about it. I guess I
- 22:59Speaker 3: could go to the mall today and get me a
- 23:00Speaker 3: ho shirt.
- 23:01Speaker 7: Are we supposed to dress up for this? Oh, for
- 23:03Speaker 7: God's sake.
- 23:04Speaker 3: I haven't thought about it either. I haven't thought about
- 23:09Speaker 3: it either.
- 23:10Speaker 7: Look, I drink wine from a bag.
- 23:11Speaker 3: I know. We're going to be classing.
- 23:14Speaker 7: It up on Friday. Are we suiting up, Jer? Is
- 23:16Speaker 7: this suiting up?
- 23:16Speaker 3: No, it's only 90 degrees.
- 23:17Speaker 7: I don't know what I'm wearing. It's a bad look?
- 23:21Speaker 7: It's not.
- 23:23Speaker 3: I don't know what I'm going to wear. I'll probably
- 23:25Speaker 3: wear some skinny jeans and a nice shirt.
- 23:27Speaker 5: No jeans.
- 23:28Speaker 7: No jeans?
- 23:29Speaker 5: No jeans.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Well, there'll be, I've got like high end, different colored
- 23:34Speaker 3: skinny jeans.
- 23:34Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Like jeans that look like a dress pant, but they're
- 23:38Speaker 3: jean material. See, it's so much easier. They're like jeggings.
- 23:41Speaker 5: So much easier for you guys.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Yeah. And then just some vans or something and we'll
- 23:45Speaker 3: call it good. I'll be hip and trendy and. Ready
- 23:48Speaker 3: to clown?
- 23:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Down to clown. All right. Well, listen, I'm going to
- 23:52Speaker 3: do something nice right now. If somebody wants to come
- 23:55Speaker 3: out and hang out with us and see this creamy
- 23:57Speaker 3: hoe across from me.
- 23:59Speaker 5: Stop it.

- 26:14Speaker 3: asked for things before, like five trades.
- 26:24Speaker 6: At a construction site. You've also said, quick, name five types.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Of TV connections.
- 26:30Speaker 6: Yesterday, the one that won it was five things that
- 26:32Speaker 6: have propellers.
- 26:34Speaker 5: It was Emily who was the big winner. So you
- 26:37Speaker 5: never know what you're going to ask. It's part of
- 26:39Speaker 5: the charm.
- 26:39Speaker 3: That is absolutely right. Part of the charm for sure.
- 26:43Speaker 6: 303-691-1649.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Listen, if you get placed on hold, don't hang up.
- 26:49Speaker 3: I see a lot of you doing that. If you're
- 26:51Speaker 3: on hold, that means you're in. Hang tight. Don't go anywhere.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Get off your speaker phones and your Bluetooths. What are
- 26:57Speaker 3: we playing for today? It's a biggie. Yeah, DMB at Fiddler's.
- 27:01Speaker 6: That's Dave Matthews Band, and you're going to pick up
- 27:03Speaker 6: a pair of tickets to see them at Fiddler's this
- 27:06Speaker 6: weekend if you can win Fast Five.
- 27:08Speaker 5: Good luck.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Definitely.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Big old good luck. I wonder if we're going to
- 27:13Speaker 3: get somebody on the first try. It's been a minute
- 27:16Speaker 3: since we had the first person boom get it. Today
- 27:19Speaker 3: might be the day. Be brave. Kids, turn to your
- 27:22Speaker 3: parents right now. Beg them to call 303-691-1649. And side note, parents,
- 27:29Speaker 3: if you win this passes to go see Dave Matthews,
- 27:33Speaker 3: that's a total date night.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 27:34Speaker 3: You're going to get away from your kids.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Yay.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Just saying.
- 27:37Speaker 5: 303-691-1649.
- 27:38Speaker 3: All right. Don't tell your kids, though. Hi, Kelly. Hi.
- 27:45Speaker 4: How are you?
- 27:45Speaker 3: Well, we're super dupes. How are you today?
- 27:48Speaker 1: Super dupes.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Going to win.
- 27:50Speaker 3: You're going to win, huh? Big talker. What are you
- 27:54Speaker 3: doing today?
- 27:56Speaker 5: Just working, running errands.
- 27:59Speaker 3: What's your errands today?
- 28:02Speaker 1: Taking kids to school, practices, you know, living the life.
- 28:06Speaker 3: I was just reeling off to Katie off the air
- 28:10Speaker 3: about my next two days of like events overlapping each other,
- 28:15Speaker 3: like four or five things going on every night, but
- 28:18Speaker 3: they're all overlapping on times, and we're trying to figure
- 28:20Speaker 3: out how to make them all work.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Hashtag parent life, right?
- 28:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:26Speaker 3: I need a cocktail. All right, Kelly. Already? I already
- 28:32Speaker 3: had three out in the parking lot this morning. All right, Kelly,
- 28:35Speaker 3: in 10 seconds, no help and no cheating, okay?
- 28:39Speaker 7: Okay.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Okay. Five fictional characters that ride horses.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Go.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. Paul Revere.
- 28:49Speaker 2: No.
- 28:51Speaker 3: No.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Yeah, this is not good. I'm not going to win.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Paul Revere was real. Lone Ranger.
- 29:00Speaker 6: Bummer. Okay.
- 29:02Speaker 3: A couple more that I'm not going to give you.
- 29:04Speaker 3: I might reuse that one. So, no, we did not
- 29:07Speaker 3: get a winner on the first try today. Kelly, you
- 29:09Speaker 3: have a super dupes day, though.
- 29:10Speaker 6: You too.
- 29:11Speaker 5: Bye.
- 29:17Speaker 3: How do you pronounce your name? Sindel?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Yes, correct.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Hi, Sindel. Welcome to the show.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 29:25Speaker 3: What are you doing today?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Just headed to work.
- 29:28Speaker 3: All right. What do you do?
- 29:30Speaker 1: I work at a pharmacy.
- 29:32Speaker 7: All right.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Now, do you ever take any of the pills home
- 29:34Speaker 3: with you?
- 29:38Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 29:39Speaker 6: Oh! kidding.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I'm just kidding.
- 29:44Speaker 5: Usually people adamantly deny that.
- 29:46Speaker 3: No, no, no. Yeah, but you're like, hey. So if
- 29:50Speaker 3: you were to take a couple pills home, which ones
- 29:53Speaker 3: would you choose?
- 29:55Speaker 1: The ones I buy over the counter.
- 29:56Speaker 5: There you go.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Yep.
- 29:59Speaker 5: The legal ones.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Look at her backpedaling.
- 30:01Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Backpedaling.
- 30:03Speaker 3: You're funny. Well, thank you for doing that work, and
- 30:06Speaker 3: thank you for counting by twos each and every day.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Do you count by twos or threes or fours when
- 30:13Speaker 3: you're putting the pills in?
- 30:14Speaker 1: Fives.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Fives!
- 30:15Speaker 5: Holy crap.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Epic, bro.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Okay, I've got a fun fast five for you. Okay.
- 30:23Speaker 3: This actually came in from a listener, but in 10 seconds...
- 30:27Speaker 3: I need five fictional characters that live in the ocean.
- 30:32Speaker 7: Go.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Okay.
- 30:35Speaker 5: Nemo.
- 30:36Speaker 6: Yep.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Ariel.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Yep.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Flounder.
- 30:41Speaker 6: Yep.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Sebastian.
- 30:46Speaker 3: And Dory.
- 30:47Speaker 6: Dory.
- 30:48Speaker 3: And King Titan.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Little Mermaid's dad, right?
- 30:51Speaker 7: Ursula.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 30:54Speaker 3: You were so close.
- 30:55Speaker 6: I know.
- 30:56Speaker 1: That 10 seconds goes by fast.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Oh, man. It was really nice meeting you and talking
- 31:01Speaker 3: to you. Thank you for calling in today.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Thank you. You too.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Okay.
- 31:04Speaker 6: Bye-bye.
- 31:05Speaker 5: She was fun.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Jenny. Hi. The note on my screen says Jenny is
- 31:14Speaker 3: driving seven kids to school today. Oh, Jenny.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Jenny.
- 31:18Speaker 5: I know.
- 31:19Speaker 2: I just need someone to get their license, like, so badly.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Oh, my God. You need to win this so you
- 31:27Speaker 3: can have a date night.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I need to go see Dave.
- 31:30Speaker 8: Yes, I do.
- 31:30Speaker 3: You need this real bad. Oh, my goodness.
- 31:33Speaker 5: Are all seven of those children yours, Jenny?
- 31:36Speaker 2: They are all mine.
- 31:37Speaker 7: Wow.
- 31:38Speaker 5: That's a mom duty on duty.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Is this blended family, or did you pop them all out?
- 31:44Speaker 7: No, all mine.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Got them the honest way.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Good for you.
- 31:47Speaker 5: Jenny.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Maybe you don't need a date night, though. That might
- 31:51Speaker 3: lead to number eight. And that'll just be too much.
- 31:57Speaker 5: I think Jenny needs a date night.
- 31:59Speaker 3: You totally need a date night. And kudos to you
- 32:00Speaker 3: for juggling seven kids every morning. You're a rock star
- 32:03Speaker 3: mom all day long.
- 32:05Speaker 7: All right.
- 32:06Speaker 3: No sequels. But I need you to give me five
- 32:10Speaker 3: movies starring Mr. Dreamboat. Five movies starring Brad Pitt. Go.
- 32:17Speaker 6: Mr.
- 32:18Speaker 3: And Mrs.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Smith, Ocean's Eleven. Oh, my gosh. Brad Pitt.
- 32:23Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 32:25Speaker 1: That's so long ago.
- 32:27Speaker 3: So long ago. He was just in F1 last year
- 32:32Speaker 3: on Apple.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Now, do you guys think I've seen a movie in
- 32:35Speaker 1: the last year?
- 32:35Speaker 3: Oh, that's right. Never mind. Yeah, never mind. Fight Club
- 32:42Speaker 3: was another one of his biggies. Troy, Meet Joe Black.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Bullet Train was in 2022. Jenny... Godspeed.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Have a good day.
- 32:54Speaker 6: Bye. Bye.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Have a good one. Oh, we got a knick-knack. Hi, Nicole.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Hi, how are you?
- 33:02Speaker 3: Well, we're super dupes. My note says you're doing laundry
- 33:04Speaker 3: this morning. Congratulations.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Oh, so refreshing.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Getting it done. What is it right now? Socks and
- 33:10Speaker 3: underwear or towels? Whites? What are we doing?
- 33:13Speaker 5: Whites.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Whites.
- 33:14Speaker 7: Good guess.
- 33:15Speaker 3: The whites?
- 33:15Speaker 5: All right.
- 33:16Speaker 3: A little bleach action going on. Good for you.
- 33:18Speaker 8: Yep.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Do you work? Do you have a job?
- 33:22Speaker 7: I do.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I work graveyards. 911 just got supervisor.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Well, thank you for doing that. That's got to be
- 33:29Speaker 3: pretty intense.
- 33:30Speaker 6: Yeah, sometimes.
- 33:32Speaker 3: All right. What do I have for you? Oh, this
- 33:35Speaker 3: one's cute. In 10 seconds, knick-knack, I need five places
- 33:42Speaker 3: that you might wear a robe.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Go. The spa?
- 33:49Speaker 3: Yep. At home? You bet. Hurry.
- 33:52Speaker 1: I have a neighbor that checks his mail with the
- 33:54Speaker 1: room on vacation.
- 33:59Speaker 3: I have a neighbor that checks his mail. Yeah, hotel, motel,
- 34:04Speaker 3: at the pool maybe. What was the one you said
- 34:07Speaker 3: off the air, Katie? We can't say.
- 34:11Speaker 5: I can't say that one.
- 34:12Speaker 3: When you're visiting a lady of the night. Is that
- 34:14Speaker 3: what you meant?
- 34:15Speaker 6: Well.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Well, you never know. Nicole, thank you for calling.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Okay, bye. A lady of the night. How do you
- 34:25Speaker 3: pronounce your name? Malachi? Malachi? Malachi? Malachi? Malachi. There you go.
- 34:32Speaker 7: Wow, I was way off.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Can I still call you Malachi? Yeah, that works.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I'm used to people mispronouncing it, so it's close enough.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Well, I butchered that. Yeah, you did. Malachi? Well, it
- 34:49Speaker 3: looks like Malachi. Hey, you never know anymore. We talked
- 34:53Speaker 3: about kids yesterday being named after weapons.
- 34:55Speaker 7: Yeah, okay.
- 34:55Speaker 3: All right, Malachi, turn down your radio.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Oh.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Yeah, we're getting some feedback. Oh, all righty.
- 35:04Speaker 8: Oh, oh.
- 35:05Speaker 3: All right, you want to play Fast Five? Absolutely. All right, Malachi.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Your letter is R. R. R. Like robot.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Or ro-boat. Five companies that start with the letter R. Go.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Redbox. Sorry, buddy.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Have a good day.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Everything just left my brain.
- 35:40Speaker 7: I know.
- 35:40Speaker 3: It's like me trying to read your name. I blanked.
- 35:44Speaker 5: Out the window.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I can't think about anything anymore.
- 35:47Speaker 3: That's all right, Malachi. We'll see you later, bud.
- 35:50Speaker 5: Thank you, Malachi.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Thank you for listening. Bye, Malachichi.
- 35:57Speaker 5: Malachi.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Listen, sometimes I blank out for a minute like he did. Hi, Vanessa.
- 36:03Speaker 8: Hey, how are you?
- 36:04Speaker 3: We're fine, thank you. How are you today? I'm good.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I'm pulling over, so I'm going to be safe.
- 36:09Speaker 7: Okay, good.
- 36:10Speaker 3: That's very wise. I would like to get a winner.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Our phone lines are still just jammed. That's the funny
- 36:16Speaker 3: thing about this game. It's just jam-packed. Will you make
- 36:19Speaker 3: everybody on hold really pissed off by finally winning this?
- 36:24Speaker 1: I would love that. Because we're planning to go see.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Dave Matthews.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 36:30Speaker 5: I would love it.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Yes, let's do it.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 36:34Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh. Let me pull up a list. I
- 36:40Speaker 3: had a list here on my phone for this one,
- 36:42Speaker 3: just so I have a few of these. What else
- 36:46Speaker 3: are you doing today?
- 36:49Speaker 1: I'm supposed to go see Dave Matthews.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Oh, no way.
- 36:59Speaker 1: I'm very excited.
- 37:00Speaker 3: That's a great concert.
- 37:02Speaker 1: It looks like it might storm, though, so.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Ah, you'll be fine. Bring a poncho. All right, your
- 37:06Speaker 3: letter is R like robot, Vanessa. I need five companies
- 37:12Speaker 3: that start with that letter R.
- 37:14Speaker 7: Go.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Redbox, Roco, oh, shoot. Red Robin, Red Caravan.
- 37:23Speaker 6: Ah!
- 37:31Speaker 3: Well, Vanessa. Darn it, you didn't get it.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I didn't mean to touch.
- 37:36Speaker 3: It's all right. I dumped you. Don't worry about it.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Nobody will ever know. You have a filthy, filthy mouth.
- 37:42Speaker 3: You have a filthy mouth.
- 37:43Speaker 5: I'm sorry.
- 37:44Speaker 3: I'm going to put you on hold before you say
- 37:46Speaker 3: the F word. Thank you for playing, Vanessa. My God,
- 37:51Speaker 3: this is going on forever, Jess.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Jess.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Hello.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Hi.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Hey, what's up?
- 37:58Speaker 1: Sorry, I have really bad allergies today, so I don't
- 38:01Speaker 1: know if today's the day.
- 38:02Speaker 3: Oh, you sound like you kind of have a sexy
- 38:03Speaker 3: voice right now. Ooh, a little gravelly. I like it
- 38:07Speaker 3: when women talk like this, Jessica. You sound super sexy today.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I disturbed someone in public by sneezing like 15 times.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Did I get away from this creeper? All right, your
- 38:19Speaker 3: letter is R, like robot. I need five companies that
- 38:23Speaker 3: start with that letter R. Go.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Rubbermaid, Reese's, Ronald McDonald House.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Oh, for the love of God.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Man.
- 38:40Speaker 3: Did you say Reese's? We got to let you go, Jess. Jess,
- 38:44Speaker 3: thank you for calling. I got to let you go.
- 38:46Speaker 3: I hung up on her. Reese's. Reese's. Kristen.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 3: You ready?
- 38:55Speaker 2: I am.
- 38:58Speaker 3: R like robot. Five companies that start with the letter R. Go.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Red Robin. Robert Haas. Red Bull. Ralph Lauren.
- 39:12Speaker 4: RTD.
- 39:13Speaker 3: What was the last one you said?
- 39:15Speaker 5: RTD.
- 39:16Speaker 3: That was RTD. Thanks for the break. Those guys?
- 39:20Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 39:22Speaker 5: Okay.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Do you know what you are supposed to say to
- 39:25Speaker 3: me when you win Fast Five?
- 39:28Speaker 1: Jeremy, play the Winnie Wins. sound.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Yeah!
- 39:34Speaker 3: Finally got it! Woo!
- 39:38Speaker 5: Awesome!
- 39:40Speaker 3: You're awesome, Kristen. You finally put a bullet in this game.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Thank you so very much. I'm going to put you
- 39:47Speaker 3: on hold. We're going to come back and tell you
- 39:50Speaker 3: how to get those tickets to Dave Matthews Band this weekend.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Well, thank you so much. Well, that's a nice lady
- 39:56Speaker 3: right there.
- 39:57Speaker 5: That was awesome. That's good stuff.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie, and Josh. Mix 100.
- 40:03Speaker 3: All right, Katie, Katie, you are out in the world. Boy,
- 40:07Speaker 3: we've heard all the stories about you out there.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Sure have.
- 40:10Speaker 3: I know a lot of ladies that listen to this
- 40:12Speaker 3: morning show. They're out and about trying to find a man.
- 40:16Speaker 3: There's this list out this morning where the ladies are
- 40:19Speaker 3: listing guy flexes that can instantly make them incredibly attractive.
- 40:25Speaker 6: Oh.
- 40:25Speaker 3: I got to ask you before I get into some
- 40:26Speaker 3: of these. Do you kind of have, like, maybe, like,
- 40:29Speaker 3: a top five of, like, what you're looking for in
- 40:31Speaker 3: a dude?
- 40:31Speaker 5: I can tell you right now what gets me going.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 40:35Speaker 5: What is it?
- 40:37Speaker 7: Oh, hang on. Sorry.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Take a minute.
- 40:39Speaker 6: Shirt off, bandana on, in the backyard, chopping wood like
- 40:44Speaker 6: it's your job.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Too bad you live in an apartment. I know, but
- 40:49Speaker 3: that is... But maybe he's got a place.
- 40:51Speaker 6: If I came across a man doing that, I would just.
- 40:56Speaker 5: Hi. I'm Katie. It would be over for that guy.
- 41:01Speaker 5: And for me.
- 41:03Speaker 3: You got it all laid out. Did he just get
- 41:05Speaker 3: out of prison or something? I don't know.
- 41:06Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 41:07Speaker 6: But that's just like my image of like sexy, you know?
- 41:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:11Speaker 3: So that'll do it for me. Let's see if I
- 41:13Speaker 3: have shirtless wood chopping on the list.
- 41:18Speaker 1: No.
- 41:19Speaker 4: No?
- 41:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 41:20Speaker 5: Well, what do you got?
- 41:20Speaker 3: These things are a little deeper than that.
- 41:22Speaker 6: Oh.
- 41:23Speaker 3: You know, deeper than the physical. Oh, yeah.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Forgot about that part, huh?
- 41:31Speaker 3: Okay, so. No joke. This is going to be incredibly
- 41:35Speaker 3: self-serving for me because I feel like I check a
- 41:37Speaker 3: lot of these boxes.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Thoughtfulness is a guy flex that instantly makes him more attractive.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Like little things like grabbing a snack or a drink
- 41:46Speaker 3: for you as well when he's getting one for himself.
- 41:49Speaker 3: So like if he's going to the kitchen and grabbing
- 41:51Speaker 3: himself a bag of gummy bears, he'll bring you back
- 41:53Speaker 3: a bag of gummy bears as well.
- 41:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:55Speaker 3: That's a flex.
- 41:56Speaker 5: And you're like, oh, I like thoughtfulness is good.
- 41:59Speaker 6: I like that.
- 42:00Speaker 3: OK, let me put it.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Check.
- 42:02Speaker 2: OK.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Katie likes thoughtfulness. And chopping wood. Bandana. This one is
- 42:08Speaker 3: maybe a ding on me. I mean, I like animals.
- 42:12Speaker 3: I got no beef. But, like, number two is loving animals.
- 42:17Speaker 3: When your man loves animals and the animals love him
- 42:21Speaker 3: back and he's gentle and nice to them, that's an
- 42:24Speaker 3: enormous green flag. That's a huge flag.
- 42:27Speaker 5: Two flags.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Really?
- 42:28Speaker 5: We'll give that one to you. Well, because animals are
- 42:31Speaker 5: so vulnerable and they're so helpless at times. You know,
- 42:34Speaker 5: it's our job to take care of them.
- 42:36Speaker 6: And when a man sees that and a man wants
- 42:38Speaker 6: to go above and beyond to make sure an animal
- 42:40Speaker 6: is taken care of, it makes you think that they'll
- 42:43Speaker 6: also do that for you, you know?
- 42:45Speaker 5: And so that'll carry on to their love for you.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Brush my hair.
- 42:49Speaker 5: And bathe me.
- 42:49Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 42:50Speaker 5: Cuddle me, tell me I'm pretty.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Pick up my poop from the backyard while you're chopping
- 42:54Speaker 3: your what?
- 42:54Speaker 5: Tell me I'm a good girl.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess I can't wait till our hamster and
- 43:00Speaker 3: dog are gone. No, Jeremy, that's not. I do love them.
- 43:05Speaker 3: But it's going to be nice when we don't have
- 43:06Speaker 3: animals and we don't have the responsibility and we don't
- 43:09Speaker 3: have to have people watch them while we're going on vacation.
- 43:11Speaker 5: Maybe not check that one.
- 43:12Speaker 6: Maybe not check.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Maybe go to the next one. No J on that one.
- 43:15Speaker 7: All right.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Humility. Oh, no.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Being able to admit that they don't know certain things
- 43:23Speaker 3: and they might not be the smartest or strongest person
- 43:25Speaker 3: in the room when they have humility. That's a flex.
- 43:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 43:29Speaker 3: And you're like, okay, you know, that's kind of sweet.
- 43:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 43:32Speaker 7: Self-aware, right?
- 43:33Speaker 6: I think also with that accountability, that all of those
- 43:36Speaker 6: things kind of go into one. And yeah, when you
- 43:38Speaker 6: have somebody who can admit when they're wrong and can
- 43:43Speaker 6: also admit when they can't do something or they need
- 43:46Speaker 6: to learn to do something. Um, yeah, all of those
- 43:49Speaker 6: things are just being transparent and you're not feeling like you.
- 43:52Speaker 5: Have to wire.
- 43:54Speaker 3: No, I'm just thinking, cause honestly, I've never had to really,
- 43:57Speaker 3: I've never experienced that. So I don't know anything about
- 44:00Speaker 3: being wrong or not knowing how to do anything, but
- 44:01Speaker 3: that's cool. Some guys are like that, I guess, whatever.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I've never had that issue. Oh, this is me all over.
- 44:10Speaker 3: Being prepared. Thinking ahead. Anticipating things correctly. Moving from disaster
- 44:16Speaker 3: to disaster. Even like real life disasters. I'm Mr. Prepared
- 44:19Speaker 3: at the house. I got extra batteries and flashlights for days.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:22Speaker 3: Cans of soup.
- 44:23Speaker 6: No, I 100% agree. You put a star next to
- 44:26Speaker 6: that one for you. And like if you're in a
- 44:29Speaker 6: situation where it's like you need to stay calm and collected.
- 44:32Speaker 7: You also.
- 44:32Speaker 3: I feel like I would be like that. You'd be
- 44:33Speaker 3: good at that. I got jumper cables in the truck. Like,
- 44:36Speaker 3: I'm good to go.
- 44:36Speaker 5: I'd probably freak us all out, but you would calm
- 44:39Speaker 5: everybody down.
- 44:39Speaker 3: So you would find me incredibly attractive because that's a flex.
- 44:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Would you agree? You'd like a guy like that. Yeah.
- 44:44Speaker 7: Prepared. Absolutely.
- 44:45Speaker 3: He's got cans of soup in his basement. Yeah. Kindness
- 44:49Speaker 3: to randoms. It is noticed and bodes well for a
- 44:53Speaker 3: future relationship. Yes. Kindness to randoms.
- 44:55Speaker 6: Well, and like when you're eating out, how you treat
- 44:57Speaker 6: the waitstaff.
- 44:59Speaker 5: Oh, that's good. You know what I mean?
- 45:01Speaker 6: Like the coffee, when you're going to get your coffee,
- 45:03Speaker 6: how you treat the barista and the people behind you.
- 45:05Speaker 3: That's good.
- 45:06Speaker 6: You know, yeah, when you're out and about and you
- 45:08Speaker 6: have to communicate with others the way you do.
- 45:12Speaker 3: That, absolutely I'm watching. When I give random prizes to
- 45:17Speaker 3: some of our good listeners because I like them or
- 45:18Speaker 3: they're sweet.
- 45:19Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 45:20Speaker 3: Is that sexy?
- 45:21Speaker 5: That's absolutely. It's nice.
- 45:23Speaker 3: It's kind.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Yes.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Call their chin right now. Get something.
- 45:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Collar team gets a lock of my hair.
- 45:31Speaker 5: Really? Sorry.
- 45:33Speaker 3: We're talking the flexes, the guy flexes that instantly make
- 45:37Speaker 3: them more attractive, according to the ladies. Anything else I
- 45:40Speaker 3: want to easily builds things? I like a builder. He
- 45:45Speaker 3: could build things after chopping that wood.
- 45:46Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Finish my own basement.
- 45:49Speaker 1: See?
- 45:49Speaker 3: I'll tell you. I will tell you when I put
- 45:52Speaker 3: my tool belt on. Game over.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Is it?
- 45:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Knickknack loves the tool belt.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:57Speaker 3: Remembering things.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Yes.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Well, I mean, that's like little things. Absolutely.
- 46:01Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Pro tip.
- 46:03Speaker 6: Go ahead.
- 46:03Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 46:04Speaker 5: No, you have an ongoing list. I was going to
- 46:06Speaker 5: brag about you.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Pro tip to the dudes. Always keep a list in
- 46:09Speaker 3: your phone. So when your lady friend says something, I'd
- 46:12Speaker 3: like this. We should do this.
- 46:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 46:14Speaker 3: You have a note in there labeled. My sexy, sexy lady.
- 46:18Speaker 3: And then you put the little notes in there about
- 46:20Speaker 3: things she says.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Then you remember.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Making people feel comfortable is on the list. Not being
- 46:26Speaker 3: a complainer or a whiny baby.
- 46:27Speaker 7: Uh-oh.
- 46:28Speaker 3: Sometimes I'm a whiny baby.
- 46:30Speaker 5: We're all a whiny baby sometimes. But for the most part,
- 46:33Speaker 5: you know.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Is there anything I missed? Anything I missed in your opinion?
- 46:37Speaker 5: Big fat muscles. Where's that on there? Big B-F-M. Big
- 46:43Speaker 5: fat muscles.
- 46:43Speaker 3: The final two things on the list are kind of
- 46:45Speaker 3: funny to me because I think these ladies were having fun.
- 46:48Speaker 3: The last two things about the flexes that guys can
- 46:52Speaker 3: have that make them attractive. One, becoming mayor.
- 46:55Speaker 7: What?
- 46:57Speaker 3: And then after that, being forklift certified.
- 47:00Speaker 6: Yeah. Those are all sexy, so I agree.
- 47:06Speaker 3: All the dudes in the Costco warehouses, the Amazon warehouses
- 47:09Speaker 3: right now are like, hells yeah, I'm going to get
- 47:11Speaker 3: me some tonight. Yeah. I think we've all got that
- 47:16Speaker 3: one co-worker that kind of makes us smile, kind of
- 47:19Speaker 3: makes our day every time you see him. Ours is Jordan.
- 47:22Speaker 3: She's out in our promotions department, so she handles a
- 47:25Speaker 3: lot of our events and scheduling. She's got a filthy...
- 47:29Speaker 3: horrible mouth, which makes it even better. You never know
- 47:32Speaker 3: what's going to come out of her mouth. And I
- 47:34Speaker 3: like her a lot, too, because you can dish it
- 47:36Speaker 3: out to her and she doesn't get offended.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:38Speaker 3: She'll fire back. And then she'll think of something like
- 47:40Speaker 3: an hour later, like a cut down. And she'll text you.
- 47:43Speaker 3: She will text you something highly inappropriate. And I love
- 47:46Speaker 3: her for that.
- 47:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 47:47Speaker 3: I posted a picture yesterday of a Dolly Parton mug
- 47:50Speaker 3: that she actually gave me.
- 47:52Speaker 5: That was her who gave that to you, yeah.
- 47:54Speaker 3: Because she knows I was a Dolly Parton fan, and
- 47:55Speaker 3: I always poked fun at Dolly on the air. And
- 47:57Speaker 3: she gave me a cup that says, Cup of Ambition.
- 48:00Speaker 3: It's a coffee cup. And I have it on my
- 48:02Speaker 3: shelf in my office at home. And every time I
- 48:05Speaker 3: look at it, I think of Potty Mouth Jordan.
- 48:07Speaker 5: She is so sweet. She is so sweet.
- 48:09Speaker 7: We love Jordan.
- 48:11Speaker 6: So, yeah, when someone's taking advantage of her, we were
- 48:14Speaker 6: all like, wait, what?
- 48:15Speaker 3: What?
- 48:16Speaker 5: So this story.
- 48:17Speaker 6: So we were chatting the other day and she told
- 48:19Speaker 6: me that she's got a really busy month because she
- 48:22Speaker 6: was talking to one of her friends and there's a
- 48:24Speaker 6: big mud run. Right. You know, those big events where
- 48:27Speaker 6: you're like doing obstacle courses and it's all in a
- 48:30Speaker 6: bunch of mud.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Quick name one thing I'll never do. I've done these before.
- 48:34Speaker 5: They're really fun.
- 48:35Speaker 6: But, you know, it takes a lot to get involved
- 48:38Speaker 6: with them. And when it's in a different state. I
- 48:41Speaker 6: imagine there's a lot of planning and stuff that goes
- 48:43Speaker 6: with that. So she was talking to one of her
- 48:45Speaker 6: friends about a mud run.
- 48:46Speaker 5: I think that was in like Kansas or something like that.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 48:49Speaker 5: And they were talking about how much fun it would be.
- 48:51Speaker 6: And that conversation blossomed into, well, we should do it.
- 48:55Speaker 6: And then they started making plans. They're looking at this
- 48:58Speaker 6: mud run online and they are this close to booking
- 49:01Speaker 6: the tickets.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Right.
- 49:02Speaker 5: So they've got this whole plan in order to go
- 49:04Speaker 5: to a mud run in a different state.
- 49:06Speaker 3: Yes. Question.
- 49:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Does Jordan ever run a day in her life? Of course, yeah.
- 49:12Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 49:13Speaker 3: Question answered.
- 49:13Speaker 5: Thank you. Jordan.
- 49:15Speaker 3: Jordan just doesn't seem like a runner. because she's a.
- 49:18Speaker 5: Well, and again, it's not necessarily a run.
- 49:19Speaker 3: She just doesn't seem like a runner.
- 49:20Speaker 5: It's an obstacle course. It's her, like, you know, getting.
- 49:23Speaker 3: She doesn't seem like somebody who'd be on a.
- 49:25Speaker 6: Crawling through mud and jumping over walls and stuff like that. So.
- 49:30Speaker 5: It's a little different than just Ryan.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Let's just say I wouldn't want her on my team.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Please continue.
- 49:34Speaker 5: I would.
- 49:34Speaker 6: I'd want her on my team. But anyway, her friend
- 49:38Speaker 6: was like bothering her about it. So they had the
- 49:40Speaker 6: conversation about doing it. Jordan was like, oh, you know what?
- 49:43Speaker 6: I think that's actually the same weekend as something else
- 49:46Speaker 6: I have going on. Let me check with you and
- 49:48Speaker 6: get back with you. That was where she left her friend. Gotcha. Well,
- 49:52Speaker 6: I guess a couple days later, her friend messaged her
- 49:55Speaker 6: and she.
- 49:55Speaker 5: Was just like, hey, guess what? I got our tickets
- 49:58Speaker 5: for the mud run, plane tickets, tickets to.
- 50:00Speaker 3: The actual event.
- 50:02Speaker 5: Everything's paid for.
- 50:03Speaker 6: You can Venmo me whenever you get the money. And
- 50:06Speaker 6: Jordan was just like, wait a second. I told you
- 50:09Speaker 6: to hold off on that. I wasn't ready to actually,
- 50:11Speaker 6: you know, do the dang thing.
- 50:14Speaker 5: And so she was like, I kind of asked you
- 50:16Speaker 5: to wait.
- 50:17Speaker 6: And then it turns out she had something else on
- 50:20Speaker 6: that same weekend, a wedding for one of her good
- 50:23Speaker 6: friends in which he was a part of. So she
- 50:25Speaker 6: can't miss that wedding. And so now she's trying to
- 50:27Speaker 6: tell her friend. I kind of asked you to hang
- 50:30Speaker 6: on because I wasn't.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Sure if I could fully deal with it. Yeah, you
- 50:32Speaker 3: didn't confirm anything.
- 50:33Speaker 5: Her friend got mad.
- 50:34Speaker 6: Her friend was like, you know, I didn't pay this
- 50:37Speaker 6: bill or something so I could make sure we had
- 50:39Speaker 6: the same flight.
- 50:40Speaker 5: And I made sure we had the tickets. And you
- 50:43Speaker 5: owe me.
- 50:44Speaker 6: Now her friend is getting in her kitchen and saying,
- 50:47Speaker 6: you owe me money. For half of this plane ticket,
- 50:50Speaker 6: you owe me for this ticket to the event.
- 50:52Speaker 3: What a nutty friend.
- 50:53Speaker 6: And Jordan's like, wait, I mean, I didn't say I
- 50:56Speaker 6: was going to 100% go, though.
- 50:57Speaker 5: How do I owe you? Well, this friend is kind
- 51:00Speaker 5: of harassing her. I mean, not only texting, but showing
- 51:04Speaker 5: up at her house.
- 51:05Speaker 6: Coming to see her at certain events that she's at
- 51:08Speaker 6: to demand this money. So much so that Jordan has
- 51:11Speaker 6: given her back a couple hundred bucks just to get
- 51:13Speaker 6: her to shut up.
- 51:15Speaker 5: And she's like, do I owe?
- 51:16Speaker 3: She's given her money? She has.
- 51:18Speaker 5: She's given her money because she's just so.
- 51:21Speaker 6: you know, she's just really, really aggressive about it, this
- 51:25Speaker 6: friend is.
- 51:26Speaker 3: I don't like this friend at all.
- 51:28Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 51:28Speaker 5: And so Jordan came to me and she's like, am
- 51:30Speaker 5: I missing something? Do I owe her some money?
- 51:32Speaker 6: Because we talked about this and, you know, it was
- 51:35Speaker 6: a thing and we talked about maybe doing it and
- 51:37Speaker 6: then she bought it and now... I feel bad because
- 51:40Speaker 6: her friend's out some cash and Jordan feels.
- 51:43Speaker 3: Like she owes it to her. Jordan's being too nice.
- 51:44Speaker 5: Jordan is being too nice.
- 51:45Speaker 3: I would go to the friend right now and demand
- 51:47Speaker 3: my $ 200 back.
- 51:48Speaker 5: Yes, exactly. And how do you do that?
- 51:50Speaker 6: What conversation can you have with that friend that's like, hey,
- 51:54Speaker 6: that she hasn't already said?
- 51:56Speaker 3: You put us on the phone with her is what
- 51:58Speaker 3: you do.
- 51:58Speaker 5: That's what I kind of told. I kind of told Jordan.
- 52:00Speaker 7: You ghost her.
- 52:01Speaker 3: That's a friend you don't want to.
- 52:02Speaker 7: Be a friend with.
- 52:03Speaker 5: That's a friend you don't want to be a friend with.
- 52:05Speaker 5: And I kind of tried to tell her that, too.
- 52:07Speaker 5: But she, I don't know.
- 52:09Speaker 3: I don't know. If anyone has any advice for our
- 52:12Speaker 3: dear friend Jordan, which, side note, she texted me.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Oh.
- 52:17Speaker 3: She says the only thing that runs is my mouth, dog. See,
- 52:22Speaker 3: I knew it. I knew she doesn't run.
- 52:24Speaker 5: There she goes.
- 52:24Speaker 3: I participate in physical activities. That is a Jordan response.
- 52:27Speaker 3: The only thing that runs is her mouth, dog.
- 52:29Speaker 5: My fist all over your face.
- 52:32Speaker 3: What should Jordan do? Feel free to sound off. I
- 52:35Speaker 3: think we're pretty set in our ways here. That's dumb.
- 52:38Speaker 5: That is dumb.
- 52:39Speaker 3: All right, Katie, what's the consensus on the text line
- 52:42Speaker 3: for our dear friend Jordan who's being scammed out of cash?
- 52:45Speaker 6: Yeah, everyone thinks that the person who's doing that to
- 52:48Speaker 6: Jordan sucks.
- 52:50Speaker 5: Not a good friend.
- 52:52Speaker 6: I mean, they say here, anybody who goes out of
- 52:55Speaker 6: their way to make you feel bad about something you
- 52:57Speaker 6: couldn't do, get them out of your life immediately. We
- 53:00Speaker 6: also have this right here. Maybe that friend owes Jordan
- 53:03Speaker 6: some money from all the harassment.
- 53:05Speaker 5: This seems like something that could go to court. And
- 53:07Speaker 5: then we got this one from Amy. I love this one.
- 53:10Speaker 6: She said, I met Jordan at Mix 100's Diamond Dive.
- 53:13Speaker 6: I would not want to mess with Jordan.
- 53:15Speaker 3: Like all caps. I'll tell you right now that Jordan
- 53:19Speaker 3: will get you in a headlock. You don't want that
- 53:20Speaker 3: to happen. She will choke you out.
- 53:23Speaker 5: She's the best. So we don't want people taking advantage
- 53:25Speaker 5: of Jordan.
- 53:26Speaker 3: Appreciate you guys sounding off. If you ever want to
- 53:28Speaker 3: text in 303-691. 1649, that's your link to the Mix
- 53:34Speaker 3: 100 Studios.
- 53:35Speaker 5: She's got the mic, the moxie, and a brain full
- 53:38Speaker 5: of Dr.
- 53:39Speaker 3: Phil reruns.
- 53:40Speaker 7: She's on me like a duck on a dune bug.
- 53:42Speaker 2: But can you take down Katie in Pop Culture Smackdown?
- 53:46Speaker 5: This is Katie Crush.
- 53:49Speaker 3: That is the name of the game, Katie Crush. And
- 53:52Speaker 3: it looks like Rose made it through. Hi, Rosie.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Hi, good morning.
- 53:57Speaker 3: How are you today?
- 53:59Speaker 1: I'm doing pretty good. How are you guys?
- 54:01Speaker 3: Well, we're pretty super dupes, I guess. Tell us a
- 54:04Speaker 3: little bit about yourself, Rose.
- 54:05Speaker 1: So I'm a tattoo artist. I do tattoos, piercings. I
- 54:11Speaker 1: don't have any kids. I just have my dog, yeah.
- 54:13Speaker 3: That's all right.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Good for you, having fun, living life.
- 54:17Speaker 5: What a fun job.
- 54:19Speaker 3: How many tattoos do you have?
- 54:21Speaker 1: I think like 30-something, 32 or something like that.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Do you have a tattoo yourself?
- 54:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I do.
- 54:27Speaker 3: A few of them, yeah. Get drunk on a Friday
- 54:30Speaker 3: night and start tatting yourself up?
- 54:33Speaker 1: No, definitely wouldn't be drinking.
- 54:35Speaker 3: I got to ask you, what's one tattoo you have
- 54:38Speaker 3: on your body that you're like, nah, I don't think
- 54:39Speaker 3: I like that one?
- 54:41Speaker 1: Probably my early ones. I first got a tattoo when
- 54:44Speaker 1: I was 16, so those ones are kind of rough.
- 54:47Speaker 3: Yeah, they're kind of rough, huh? I don't have any tattoos.
- 54:49Speaker 3: I thought about getting one. I want a full sleeve
- 54:51Speaker 3: if I do it, though.
- 54:53Speaker 1: What kind of sleeve would he get.
- 54:55Speaker 3: Yep you bet probably like he-man and super mario brothers
- 55:00Speaker 3: exactly yeah can you do he-man on my back yeah
- 55:04Speaker 3: i can oh man rose we need to talk hey
- 55:08Speaker 3: i gotta ask you like if i did a full
- 55:09Speaker 3: sleeve from my wrist to my shoulder how what does
- 55:12Speaker 3: that generally run how much money.
- 55:15Speaker 1: It really just depends. Some people charge like $ 5, 000. Some
- 55:19Speaker 1: people charge less, like $ 1, 500 or something.
- 55:22Speaker 3: But you get what you pay for, is what I imagine.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that too.
- 55:27Speaker 3: I don't want the $ 1, 500.
- 55:29Speaker 5: No, it's going on you forever.
- 55:30Speaker 3: You paid the $ 5, 000.
- 55:32Speaker 5: You paid that money.
- 55:34Speaker 3: Never mind.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Even people in Florida, they charge like $ 50, 000 is crazy.
- 55:40Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 55:40Speaker 5: Nope.
- 55:41Speaker 3: I'm going to pass on that sleeve tattoo, Rose. Maybe
- 55:43Speaker 3: I'll get a little snowflake or something.
- 55:45Speaker 7: On my wrist.
- 55:45Speaker 3: I don't know. Something dorky.
- 55:47Speaker 1: I can hook you guys up.
- 55:49Speaker 3: All right. Well, we'll come see you sometime. Rose, I'm
- 55:51Speaker 3: going to give you and Katie the same five questions.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Best out of five wins. Ties go to Katie, unless
- 55:56Speaker 3: I'm in a really good mood. Anything you'd like to
- 55:58Speaker 3: say to our tattoo artist, Katie? I hope you ink
- 56:01Speaker 3: up a big W, Rose. Let's go. Good luck.
- 56:05Speaker 8: All right.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I got to lock in.
- 56:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Focus, girl. Focus. All right. So Katie's going to leave
- 56:10Speaker 3: the studio. She goes into a room where she can't
- 56:12Speaker 3: hear anything. I come up with a question so there's
- 56:14Speaker 3: no cheating. And then we'll find out if you are
- 56:18Speaker 3: right or wrong once we bring her back. Here is
- 56:20Speaker 3: your first question. In the year 2023, what movie opened
- 56:25Speaker 3: up the same weekend as Barbie and both of them
- 56:30Speaker 3: dominated the global box office? There was even a cutesy
- 56:33Speaker 3: name for these two movies.
- 56:35Speaker 1: I have no idea. I'm sorry.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Well, that's all right. It's very embarrassing for you. I'm fine.
- 56:41Speaker 3: You just want to say pass?
- 56:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Tell me, what famous song did Phoebe sing on Friends
- 56:50Speaker 3: about an animal?
- 56:56Speaker 1: I'm going to have to pass again.
- 56:58Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Third question. Is this a true or false?
- 57:02Speaker 3: You might be able to get this one. Baskin Robbins
- 57:06Speaker 3: once made ketchup-flavored ice cream. True or false?
- 57:13Speaker 1: I'll say true.
- 57:13Speaker 3: All right, I'll put you down. What career path is
- 57:18Speaker 3: Kim Kardashian pursuing?
- 57:24Speaker 1: To be a lawyer.
- 57:27Speaker 3: And your fifth and final question for Katie Crush Rose.
- 57:30Speaker 3: What's the name of the toy store in Toy Story 2?
- 57:34Speaker 3: There's a toy store in there. What's the name of it?
- 57:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I thought I was going to
- 57:42Speaker 1: do better.
- 57:43Speaker 3: No, actually, you did really bad. All right, let's go
- 57:46Speaker 3: ahead and bring Katie. I'm just goofing with you, Rose. Listen,
- 57:50Speaker 3: I'm going to tell you right now, this is not
- 57:52Speaker 3: going to define your life or, you know, who you are.
- 57:54Speaker 3: This is just a silly game. You know what?
- 57:56Speaker 5: One of those pep talks.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Everyone will forget in five minutes.
- 57:59Speaker 3: Pretty much. You're going to go on and live your
- 58:01Speaker 3: life and have a great day today, so don't you
- 58:02Speaker 3: worry about it. Hi, Katie.
- 58:04Speaker 7: Hi.
- 58:05Speaker 3: I was throwing you off because Rose got them all right.
- 58:07Speaker 5: Oh, good job, Rose.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Thank you. Katie, in 2023, what movie opened the same
- 58:14Speaker 3: weekend as Barbie? And they both basically dominated the box office.
- 58:19Speaker 3: There was even a cutesy name.
- 58:21Speaker 5: Oh, what was that?
- 58:25Speaker 6: Oh, I don't.
- 58:26Speaker 5: Does it start with an O?
- 58:28Speaker 3: It does start with an O. Hurry up.
- 58:31Speaker 5: I can't. I don't even know.
- 58:33Speaker 3: Rose said pass. It was Oppenheimer.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Oppenheimer.
- 58:38Speaker 3: What was it? Was it Barbenheimer or something like that?
- 58:41Speaker 6: Barbenheimer.
- 58:42Speaker 5: That's what it was.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:43Speaker 1: All right.
- 58:43Speaker 3: You both stunk that one up.
- 58:44Speaker 5: Dang it.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Katie, what famous song did Phoebe sing on Friends and
- 58:49Speaker 3: it was about an animal?
- 58:50Speaker 6: Smelly cat.
- 58:51Speaker 3: Smelly cat.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Smelly cat.
- 58:55Speaker 3: Rose passed. Oh, no, Rose.
- 58:58Speaker 5: Oh, that's a good song.
- 58:59Speaker 3: You have any cat tattoos on your rose?
- 59:01Speaker 1: No.
- 59:02Speaker 3: Okay. Katie True or False, Baskin Robbins once made ketchup
- 59:07Speaker 3: flavored ice cream oh there's.
- 59:09Speaker 5: No way that's true right.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Uh rose you said true or it was true katie
- 59:17Speaker 3: said false uh katie what career path is kim kardashian
- 59:23Speaker 3: pursuing oh is it Lawyer. Rose, you got that one right.
- 59:29Speaker 3: Good job, Rose. Katie, what was the name of the
- 59:34Speaker 3: toy store in Toy Story 2? Oh, gosh.
- 59:41Speaker 5: I have no idea. I don't know. Toys R Us?
- 59:45Speaker 3: No. Rose passed. It was Al's Toy Barn. Thank you
- 59:51Speaker 3: very much.
- 59:51Speaker 5: I never would have got that.
- 59:52Speaker 3: I know. It's a stumper. Today was hard. Okay, so
- 59:54Speaker 3: I know. I came to play today. Oh, Ty.
- 59:59Speaker 1: Is it?
- 59:59Speaker 3: You both only got two today, it looks like.
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Well, Ty's go to Katie, though.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: Yay.
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: Yay.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I was confident in losing.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: I thought you were going to.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: Win, Rose. Rose, I like you, though, and you were
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: so wound up and so nervous. I'm going to give
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: you the prize anyway today. Is that okay? Rose gets
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: the prize.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: You're welcome. You're so sweet, and you're so sad and down.
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: I'm going to give it to you anyway. And we're
