- 0:02Speaker 1: Come on, uh huh, I sure, well, good morning everybody.
- 0:09Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 0:13Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. You know,
- 0:16Speaker 1: I think I ought to explain something to y'all. You
- 0:18Speaker 1: know when I when I wake up in the morning
- 0:20Speaker 1: and I say, dig me, now, what I'm asking you
- 0:24Speaker 1: to do is it's old school, you know, man, And
- 0:27Speaker 1: you know you said old people say I dig You
- 0:29Speaker 1: know Dad never stop saying that. I'm sorry, but dig
- 0:33Speaker 1: me now. It's just I want you to I won't
- 0:36Speaker 1: you really feel me? I want you to understand what
- 0:38Speaker 1: I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration is all given
- 0:43Speaker 1: in the spirit of sharing and love. It ain't about
- 0:46Speaker 1: to expose me in any way. That's not the purpose
- 0:49Speaker 1: of it. But I found that in my morning inspiration
- 0:54Speaker 1: that's best that I use some things about myself, because
- 0:56Speaker 1: I mean, what better example can I use? Because I
- 0:59Speaker 1: know me, know what's happened to me. I know exactly
- 1:02Speaker 1: how I felt all along the way concerning almost everything,
- 1:06Speaker 1: every aspect of my life. I now fully do really
- 1:10Speaker 1: understand why God had my life spend the way it spun.
- 1:15Speaker 1: And here's the part that I want to give to
- 1:17Speaker 1: you this morning that first of all, whatever position you
- 1:20Speaker 1: find yourself in today, we kind of come to one
- 1:23Speaker 1: realization that we got ourselves there. We put ourselves there
- 1:28Speaker 1: by a series of thoughts and actions. Thoughts turn into things.
- 1:34Speaker 1: That's very important to know. So let's look at both
- 1:38Speaker 1: sides of it. For people who think negative thoughts, it
- 1:43Speaker 1: turns into negative things, and the direct opposite is true.
- 1:49Speaker 1: For those who think positive thoughts, it turns into positive things.
- 1:56Speaker 2: That's the deal. It's as simple as that.
- 1:59Speaker 1: For I cannot break it down any cleaner, I cannot
- 2:05Speaker 1: make it any clearer. Thoughts become things. So the one
- 2:11Speaker 1: glaring question for all of us always is on a
- 2:15Speaker 1: daily basis, what are you thinking? What are your thoughts?
- 2:19Speaker 1: What are you thinking? What are your thoughts? Because I
- 2:25Speaker 1: can assure you and is not by a promise of mine.
- 2:29Speaker 1: This is not a theory that Steve Harveyden came up with.
- 2:33Speaker 1: This is a fact of life. This is biblical, this
- 2:38Speaker 1: is spiritual, This is written, this is philosophical, This is
- 2:43Speaker 1: the law of the universe. However, you need to drink
- 2:46Speaker 1: this medicine to take to get it down and feel
- 2:49Speaker 1: what I'm saying to you.
- 2:51Speaker 2: This is just the way it is now.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And here the cold part, folks, It don't matter if
- 2:57Speaker 1: you believe me or not. It does not matter if
- 3:02Speaker 1: you have never been explained this or not. And it
- 3:06Speaker 1: does not matter if you think it works in your
- 3:08Speaker 1: life or not.
- 3:10Speaker 2: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 3:13Speaker 2: it is.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It is a scriptural, it is a spiritual, it is philosophical.
- 3:20Speaker 2: It's just whatever is the law of the universe. You
- 3:22Speaker 2: call whatever you want call.
- 3:23Speaker 1: However, you got to dress this thing up to put
- 3:27Speaker 1: it in a phase that you can feel me.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I want you to feel me now, because this is
- 3:31Speaker 2: all it is.
- 3:33Speaker 1: So when I say that you are where we are
- 3:35Speaker 1: today because we thought ourselves here, are you best to
- 3:39Speaker 1: believe that's true? You thought yourself here, no one else see.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 3:48Speaker 1: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 3:52Speaker 1: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 3:57Speaker 1: I keep pointing and trying, and they say it out
- 4:01Speaker 1: loud as many times as I can without being so offensive.
- 4:05Speaker 1: That my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 4:10Speaker 1: by blessings from God. My life is because God has
- 4:15Speaker 1: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 4:17Speaker 1: people around me want credit for it and want you
- 4:20Speaker 1: to not give credit to God and give it to them.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I got that.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I got that, But I understand that. See, I understand
- 4:28Speaker 1: what that is. That's a person whose design is to
- 4:32Speaker 1: get the credit.
- 4:33Speaker 2: But it's okay.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's so clear to me what my father was saying
- 4:37Speaker 1: to me. Man, I get it as I get older
- 4:39Speaker 1: and older. He always said to me, son, everybody come
- 4:43Speaker 1: with you can't go with you. See, you know, I
- 4:48Speaker 1: don't know how people say it in church. You know
- 4:49Speaker 1: sometime they go, well, people come into your life for seasons,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and I guess that's the same thing. You know, they
- 4:54Speaker 1: seizing up, They gone well, you know, and then but
- 4:58Speaker 1: then hit the way they try to hold you though,
- 5:01Speaker 1: or you're gonna forget where you come from. Oh, you
- 5:04Speaker 1: ain't gonna keep it real no more. I don't want
- 5:08Speaker 1: to go back where I come from. I don't want
- 5:10Speaker 1: to keep it that real no more. It was real
- 5:13Speaker 1: enough for me living in the car. I had enough
- 5:15Speaker 1: of that real. I don't gonna keep it real now.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I don't keep it real. I wanna go keep it dreamy.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I want to go keep it fantasized. I want I wanna.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I want to keep it out of this world. I
- 5:25Speaker 1: want to keep it off the chain. I want to
- 5:28Speaker 1: keep it moving. I want to keep it bad, and
- 5:29Speaker 1: I want to see what that's like. So Nah, I
- 5:32Speaker 1: ain't gonna forget where I come from, but you ain't
- 5:34Speaker 1: gonna hold me to that though See thoughts become things
- 5:40Speaker 1: all day long? Where's your vision board? Where are the
- 5:44Speaker 1: things that you want written down? What do you think
- 5:48Speaker 1: about the most? How grateful are you for what all
- 5:52Speaker 1: God has done for you? Where you at with that?
- 5:55Speaker 2: See?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Here hear another law? If thoughts become things, Let me
- 6:02Speaker 1: ask you this. If all you thinking about is your debt,
- 6:06Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about is what you ain't got,
- 6:09Speaker 1: If all you.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Thinking about or is all woe is me? If all you.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Thinking about is every time I turn around, I'm sick.
- 6:16Speaker 1: If all you thinking about it's the things in life
- 6:21Speaker 1: that you're lacking. If that's all you thinking about, and
- 6:27Speaker 1: if thoughts become things, how much debt you think you're
- 6:32Speaker 1: gonna stay in?
- 6:33Speaker 2: How much?
- 6:34Speaker 1: How much how much lacking you think you're finn to
- 6:36Speaker 1: fill your life with? How much most stuff you fin
- 6:40Speaker 1: to not have because you keep thinking about it all
- 6:45Speaker 1: the time. When you're gonna be grateful, when you're gonna
- 6:49Speaker 1: say thank you, when it's gonna come out your mouth, Man,
- 6:53Speaker 1: that I may not be where I want to be,
- 6:56Speaker 1: but I show am grateful for what you've given me
- 6:59Speaker 1: so far, for the things I have to date, because
- 7:03Speaker 1: I don't have to have these things.
- 7:04Speaker 2: You know what that does?
- 7:06Speaker 1: That then opens up room for more stuff to come
- 7:09Speaker 1: your way. To be grateful fall. But if you're gonna
- 7:12Speaker 1: be ungrateful, ah, man, let me ask you something. I
- 7:15Speaker 1: ain't God, I don't claim to be, But let me
- 7:17Speaker 1: ask you something man. If you ungrateful for the things
- 7:21Speaker 1: we got, If we can't show no gratitude for what
- 7:24Speaker 1: we have, why would God give us.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Some most stuff to be ungrateful for? What would he
- 7:30Speaker 2: do that for? Tada? Anybody feel me right now? So
- 7:35Speaker 2: when I say come on, y'all dig me? Now? Do
- 7:38Speaker 2: you understand why I say dig me Because I want
- 7:40Speaker 2: you to feel me. I want you to understand and
- 7:42Speaker 2: come to the understanding, not saying you ain't.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Because there's so many people got a deeper understanding than
- 7:47Speaker 1: me about this whole thing. I promise you they do,
- 7:49Speaker 1: but they listen to me. I'm just trying to get
- 7:52Speaker 1: you to walk up in this light, man, so you
- 7:54Speaker 1: can go on with your life and quit tripping yourself
- 7:56Speaker 1: out with your thoughts, because thoughts become things, all right.
- 8:00Speaker 2: You're listening to The Steve Harvey Morning Show.
