- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod which Teddy Mellencamp and Cameridge Edge.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas in
- 0:17Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp, and I have a
- 0:20Speaker 2: special guest co host, Jim Pestler.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Hi, Hi Warrior, how are you doing.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I'm good, I mean, I'm good, except my eye keeps
- 0:30Speaker 2: going to where it says Jeffrey Fessler on your.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Uh, like all things in my life. His name is
- 0:37Speaker 3: plastered everywhere.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Just it's on your zoo.
- 0:39Speaker 3: No, actually, I'm using I'm down at that. We have
- 0:41Speaker 3: a beach house in southern Jersey, so whatever, I'm using.
- 0:45Speaker 3: His computer minds a little messed up, So.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I feel, what's new with you? What's going on?
- 0:51Speaker 3: Oh, it's just really the weather sucks here in Jersey
- 0:56Speaker 3: at the beach, and it just feels like winter's coming
- 0:58Speaker 3: and it's depressing. It's cold and windy whatever.
- 1:02Speaker 2: But one hundred and six degrees here, I.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Don't know which is worse. I actually hate that telling
- 1:08Speaker 3: you I'm not interested in that either.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Hot. Yeah, I can't even take it.
- 1:13Speaker 3: So, yeah, well that's not for me either. So I
- 1:15Speaker 3: just have to say this to you because I've been
- 1:17Speaker 3: wanting to say it, and we don't talk all the time,
- 1:19Speaker 3: so I have this little opportunity. But so I have
- 1:23Speaker 3: probably four friends right now who are battling cancer, one
- 1:27Speaker 3: of whom is battling stage four. But it's hard obviously
- 1:33Speaker 3: on all four of them. But they all follow you,
- 1:37Speaker 3: and you have obviously inspired them in more ways than one,
- 1:43Speaker 3: but particularly your hair. So my friend Marcy Hers is
- 1:49Speaker 3: just now starting to grow back. Yeah, we spent hours
- 1:52Speaker 3: contemplating like pink, like teddy pink, teddy blonde. I don't know,
- 1:58Speaker 3: like when you started. And she's like, I'm not sure
- 2:00Speaker 3: I can actually start coloring it. She's asked. She's talking
- 2:02Speaker 3: to a doctor about using like vegg dye, Veggi dye
- 2:05Speaker 3: or whatever.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I use the one that you just like wash in
- 2:07Speaker 2: and then it's semi permanent.
- 2:10Speaker 3: I was hoping to get that information.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Yes, so it's a semi permanent I'll text you the
- 2:14Speaker 2: link of what it is. But it just goes in
- 2:17Speaker 2: and then it starts off super pink and then it
- 2:20Speaker 2: just fades out. The reason I have some days I
- 2:23Speaker 2: have wigs on, like today's a wig day because I
- 2:27Speaker 2: didn't want to put any makeup on. Yeah, so it's
- 2:31Speaker 2: the one the other right right.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I actually contemplated, I was like, this is my first
- 2:36Speaker 3: to tease podcast. Let me try to look human, a
- 2:40Speaker 3: little bit human, but you think better than human? Thank you,
- 2:44Speaker 3: thank you. Yeah. But I also do say to my
- 2:47Speaker 3: friends there are like Gurdi, for instance, she has a
- 2:51Speaker 3: perfect head. Her cranium is perfect and round, as is yours.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I have to be very grateful that I have a
- 2:58Speaker 2: good a good grand as you've got ahead.
- 3:01Speaker 4: I mean, I.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I don't know if I give it, but I have it.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you got good head? Yep.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Also, what's the what's the scoop? I mean, there's been
- 3:14Speaker 2: so much discussion about Jersey. Have you heard anything?
- 3:19Speaker 3: I mean, I hear the rumors, I hear what you hear,
- 3:21Speaker 3: and nothing is confirmed. I don't know, I honestly, and
- 3:25Speaker 3: I people I probably wouldn't. I would say to you
- 3:29Speaker 3: offline if I did know, which I'm also not supposed
- 3:31Speaker 3: to do. But I really don't know. I got nothing.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Do you think if it does come back, you would
- 3:37Speaker 2: be going back?
- 3:40Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean I would like to I
- 3:43Speaker 3: would like at least to be asked. There were times
- 3:45Speaker 3: when I was filming where I was like, you know,
- 3:47Speaker 3: this is it. But I think you said at one point,
- 3:49Speaker 3: once you're in it and you've experienced it, it's an
- 3:54Speaker 3: interesting things, like transition to normal life. And so it
- 3:59Speaker 3: was an adventure for me, and at times it was hard,
- 4:01Speaker 3: but really, you know, housewives came knocking at my door
- 4:04Speaker 3: when I was fifty three years old. Nobody else was knocking.
- 4:07Speaker 3: So I mean, it's just the truth, right, And it's
- 4:10Speaker 3: been like yeah, times it's hard, but it has been
- 4:13Speaker 3: this incredible adventure and I'm I've had like this chance
- 4:16Speaker 3: to reinvent myself in this way, you know, right, kind
- 4:18Speaker 3: of when my kids were when I was empty nesting
- 4:21Speaker 3: and do things that I wouldn't. I mean, sitting here
- 4:25Speaker 3: with Teddy Mellencamp, my husband is downstairs. I said to him,
- 4:27Speaker 3: you can't come up because the fact that I'm even
- 4:30Speaker 3: talking to you. He's a Jersey boy like your dad is,
- 4:35Speaker 3: you know.
- 4:35Speaker 2: My dad is. I think farm Maid's coming up.
- 4:39Speaker 3: That's right. I saw that.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yes, I think farm Maid's coming up. And I forget
- 4:42Speaker 2: exactly where it is, but I don't know that it's
- 4:45Speaker 2: too far from you guys.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Really, I'll tell Jeff you're gonna get us tickets? Yeah,
- 4:49Speaker 3: I will, thanks front, Yeah, backstage if you don't mind.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah, don't. Actually, I'll have dress thing.
- 4:55Speaker 3: That's oh my god, Oh my god, you'll be sorry,
- 5:00Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Okay, I have to put you onto these leggings I've
- 5:08Speaker 5: been obsessed with lately. They're from this brand called Tona,
- 5:12Speaker 5: and get this, the designer behind them also created Lululemon,
- 5:17Speaker 5: so they know what they're doing. These leggings are next
- 5:20Speaker 5: level think buttery soft, super flattering, and very comfortable. Also,
- 5:26Speaker 5: they're supportive in all the right places.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I started wearing them for my morning.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Workouts, but now I'm basically living in them. And here's
- 5:34Speaker 5: what makes them even better. Every pair you buy helps
- 5:38Speaker 5: fund a mental health counseling session for a teen in need.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Tona's on a mission to end teen suicide and self harm,
- 5:46Speaker 5: which we think is so important and incredible, And we've
- 5:49Speaker 5: partnered with Tona to give you twenty percent off your
- 5:52Speaker 5: order in free shipping. Head to tona active dot com
- 5:55Speaker 5: and use code iHeart for twenty percent off and free shipping.
- 6:07Speaker 2: So what are you thinking about? Are you liking Miami
- 6:10Speaker 2: this season?
- 6:11Speaker 3: Well? I loved this last episode. First of all, absolutely
- 6:16Speaker 3: loved it. I think Miami, like everybody says it, it's
- 6:19Speaker 3: not whatever, but it's just so underrated.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I mean visually, I love Miami. This episode I didn't
- 6:25Speaker 2: love as much.
- 6:26Speaker 3: So I know I loved it, loved it. I loved it. Well,
- 6:30Speaker 3: I love it. You know what, when I love I
- 6:32Speaker 3: love episodes that make me furious or make me laugh.
- 6:39Speaker 3: So like I like when I get so riled up
- 6:41Speaker 3: about something, I know it's a good episode, Like I
- 6:44Speaker 3: just it's about the Stephanie of it all. We can
- 6:47Speaker 3: get to that. But where I'm just like, like, you
- 6:50Speaker 3: gotta be fucking kidding, like I have to find this
- 6:53Speaker 3: woman and and like have it out with her because
- 6:56Speaker 3: I'm losing my shit. But I feel like those are
- 6:58Speaker 3: the good episodes, right, are the good episodes.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I mean I think the beginning, it starts. It started
- 7:03Speaker 2: off a little slow for me, so that's hard, Like
- 7:05Speaker 2: I want it to take me right from the beginning,
- 7:07Speaker 2: and I feel like, right now we're kind of beating
- 7:09Speaker 2: a dead horse.
- 7:10Speaker 3: You feel like it's like a right, well, yeah, okay,
- 7:13Speaker 3: I can deal with the Lisa Larsa of it all.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yeah, So I mean it starts out during dinner. Lars's
- 7:17Speaker 2: in the hallway and Jody is texting Larsa NonStop. Lisa
- 7:22Speaker 2: asks Larsa what the problem is. Larsa tells Lisa that
- 7:25Speaker 2: Jody is texting her things he shouldn't be texting. But
- 7:29Speaker 2: then so I thought it was like, listen, you fucking bitch, right,
- 7:33Speaker 2: shut your mouth, Like that's what I expected, obviously, like
- 7:37Speaker 2: I was.
- 7:37Speaker 3: I went there, that's what we all expected. Or like,
- 7:39Speaker 3: you know, meet me in the back alley somewhere, like
- 7:42Speaker 3: there was something selacious about it.
- 7:45Speaker 2: The whole thing.
- 7:45Speaker 3: It was so benign, it was ridiculous.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and then we find out in the confessional, Lisa
- 7:51Speaker 2: reads Larsa, stop, I don't want this fight. You can't
- 7:55Speaker 2: point at the sky and tell me it's not blue.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Larsa responded, Listen, I don't want to argue with you.
- 8:00Speaker 2: What fight. Clearly we're not on the same page. Have
- 8:02Speaker 2: a good night, Jody says, we don't need to be
- 8:05Speaker 2: on the same page. It's in the past. If you'll
- 8:07Speaker 2: let it go. I'm sorry. This is a fine text
- 8:10Speaker 2: exchange for me.
- 8:11Speaker 3: I actually think it's very pleasant and nice. I don't
- 8:13Speaker 3: think he was in any way inappropriate not only that
- 8:16Speaker 3: this woman like tried to out him as a as
- 8:18Speaker 3: as coking it up whatever. I don't remember where he was,
- 8:21Speaker 3: but was showing up pure man with his saying that
- 8:24Speaker 3: his eyes were bulging out of his head. I think
- 8:25Speaker 3: he was perfectly pleasant. And their reaction, the girl's reaction
- 8:30Speaker 3: when they're like, look, Jody is texting Lar said, They're like, oh.
- 8:34Speaker 2: What I mean, one should Jody probably be texting a housewife.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I mean, if Jeff started texting housewives that he wasn't
- 8:42Speaker 2: close with, I would think it was weird. It's a
- 8:47Speaker 2: nice business.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Well Jeff doesn't. He doesn't text me, so it would
- 8:50Speaker 3: be weird my children for that matter. So I'm trying
- 8:56Speaker 3: to think if I text like a house husband, I
- 8:59Speaker 3: have not without like the housewife knowing, but just like
- 9:02Speaker 3: happy birthday, I don't know, it's.
- 9:05Speaker 2: I mean, I think it's weird. I think in general,
- 9:07Speaker 2: Jodie stay out of it. But I think he sees
- 9:10Speaker 2: that Lisa's in like such a fragile place. He's trying
- 9:15Speaker 2: to protect her. Yeah, but it's.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I mean, honestly it did. Yes, definitely stay out of it.
- 9:20Speaker 3: But the thing. The other piece is that he he
- 9:22Speaker 3: was brought into it like Larsa was trying to call
- 9:25Speaker 3: him out, like in a in a big way. His
- 9:29Speaker 3: eyes were bulging out, you know, he was screaming. He
- 9:33Speaker 3: was hard. Yeah, it's hard to stomach that ship.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yeah. So I'm sure at the end of the day
- 9:38Speaker 2: when and I am slightly confused because I'm not a lawyer,
- 9:42Speaker 2: but do you have that short of a notice when
- 9:45Speaker 2: you have to do a notary type situation?
- 9:47Speaker 3: I have the same question. It seemed legit to me.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I mean, Gerty and her were back there, right and
- 9:54Speaker 3: Gertie was like, and I know this person and this woman,
- 9:56Speaker 3: and she's going to get on and she's going to
- 9:59Speaker 3: what she's gonna be able to notarize it. It felt
- 10:02Speaker 3: legit to me. It seems strange that anybody would say
- 10:05Speaker 3: you have to have this done in an hour, these
- 10:07Speaker 3: official documents.
- 10:09Speaker 2: She probably drops the ball maybe and then she's on
- 10:13Speaker 2: the trip and she's like, oh, you know, she was
- 10:15Speaker 2: on another trip right beforehand. She probably kind of forgot,
- 10:18Speaker 2: and then it was down to the deadline and oh shit,
- 10:21Speaker 2: here we go. And then you want to know whose
- 10:23Speaker 2: nightmare that probably really was Productions having to find a notary.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Productions like, shit, we have to find an online notary
- 10:36Speaker 2: who can do this right now on camera. Great. Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 2: but I think two things can be true. Jody should
- 10:44Speaker 2: absolutely not be texting Larsa. But the women also seem
- 10:47Speaker 2: to be piling on Lisa.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Oh my god, one hundred percent. And here's the thing.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I mean, we can get to it later. But the
- 10:55Speaker 3: expectations around Lisa. I know that her divorce has been
- 10:58Speaker 3: going on for a minute, but the expectations, for instance,
- 11:03Speaker 3: for her to put her phone in a basket, they're
- 11:06Speaker 3: just they're not realistic.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Yeah, in my mind, let's once we get to the notes,
- 11:10Speaker 2: let's talk about the basket.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:13Speaker 2: But then the girls head out for their daytime adventures,
- 11:17Speaker 2: which you know I love the daytime adventures. Oh yes, Marisol, Alexia, Julia, Larsa,
- 11:22Speaker 2: and Stephanie. I'll go to ceramics class to make tiles.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Alexia asks Marisol to not paint a penis.
- 11:29Speaker 3: So what does Marisol do paints a penis? I have
- 11:32Speaker 3: to be honest with you. The penis is like the
- 11:33Speaker 3: eleventh character on Miami. It's a lot a lot of
- 11:37Speaker 3: penis talk. Maybe I'm just I'm fifty seven. I'm just
- 11:39Speaker 3: not that interested in penis anymore. But it's just it's
- 11:43Speaker 3: a lot of cock talk on Miami, don't you think.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Well, I think it's a lot of cock talk. And
- 11:49Speaker 2: it's all because they what else are they going to
- 11:52Speaker 2: talk about?
- 11:53Speaker 3: That's sad. That is sad, Teddy, that is a sad statement.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I hope there's more to talk about than just penis.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Well, I think in this that's.
- 12:00Speaker 3: The common denominator. That's what binds them.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what's binding them together at this moment. They
- 12:05Speaker 2: love to talk about sex and penis.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess that goes that's across the board. I
- 12:09Speaker 3: know that housewives do like to talk about sex, but
- 12:12Speaker 3: it just feels like and now, oh I know, Marisol
- 12:17Speaker 3: and yeah, the episode that don't find the penis particularly
- 12:24Speaker 3: appealing in person, much less drawings of it.
- 12:26Speaker 2: It's just enough penis, it's not And her drawing isn't
- 12:30Speaker 2: like a beautiful penis And no, it was no, it wasn't.
- 12:33Speaker 2: It wasn't great.
- 12:35Speaker 3: You want to put like hair on hers or something, No,
- 12:41Speaker 3: I don't know, something like that. I think she was
- 12:43Speaker 3: drawing little like prickly hairs. I don't know.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Oh, no, Stephanie, I know too much about your husband now.
- 12:48Speaker 3: A little bit, a little bit, a little bit, a
- 12:50Speaker 3: little bit.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Then Alexia asks, after she asked Marison not to pay
- 12:56Speaker 2: the penis, the girls discussed if Alicia should come on
- 12:58Speaker 2: the plane tomorrow.
- 13:00Speaker 3: I can't, Teddy, I can. I cannot with the fucking plane.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I can't. I am So that's I think. Well, I
- 13:08Speaker 3: told you I got riled up during the episode. If
- 13:11Speaker 3: I never hear the word private plane or again, it
- 13:14Speaker 3: will be too soon. And the girls just like go
- 13:17Speaker 3: with it like it's normal. I don't get it, Like
- 13:19Speaker 3: are these girls flying coach? Because I feel like they're
- 13:21Speaker 3: definitely being flown business class or first class for sure.
- 13:24Speaker 3: There's the big deal about the plane, and she is
- 13:28Speaker 3: just wielding it over everyone's head, like no one's going
- 13:31Speaker 3: home with the private plane. We're talking about two hours
- 13:34Speaker 3: or whatever.
- 13:35Speaker 2: It is, twenty two minutes.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Twenty two minutes, twenty and it's in my private plane.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I have a private plane. Who am I going to
- 13:41Speaker 3: invite on the plane? Who gives a fuck?
- 13:43Speaker 2: Who's who's gonna sit where on the private plane? I
- 13:46Speaker 2: can't just it gives me the ick. Me to sister
- 13:52Speaker 2: like it. It hits me off. And no one shuts
- 13:54Speaker 2: it down, right, but because they don't want to get
- 13:57Speaker 2: kicked off the private plane.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Oh my god, I can't an they don't want to
- 14:01Speaker 4: like all of a sudden, everybody's all fine about everything
- 14:05Speaker 4: that she's saying and doing because they But I'm like,
- 14:08Speaker 4: at some point, somebody's.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Got to give Lisa a little bit of a break here,
- 14:11Speaker 2: even though Lisa does things that drive me nuts too.
- 14:14Speaker 3: But of course, of course, but you don't say you
- 14:17Speaker 3: can't come on a twenty two minute What are you
- 14:19Speaker 3: talking about? Everybody? And it was Steppani that really decided that.
- 14:24Speaker 3: In the end, it wasn't even Larsa.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I know it's bananas. Then Lisa, Marisol, and Julia meet
- 14:31Speaker 2: on the roof. Marisol and Julia explain that everyone is
- 14:34Speaker 2: uncomfortable with the note taking. They tell Lisa that her
- 14:37Speaker 2: phone needs to go in a basket on the plane
- 14:40Speaker 2: that she may or may not be able to go on,
- 14:43Speaker 2: and then Lisa gets pissed and says she isn't going
- 14:45Speaker 2: to the dinner. The note taking seems to be taken
- 14:49Speaker 2: out of proportion.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Dieddie, we are so lined up. We probably shouldn't do
- 14:52Speaker 3: this together because one might have any conflicting views who
- 14:56Speaker 3: doesn't take notes, but also talking about.
- 14:58Speaker 2: She's taking notes of something they're filming on a reality telephone. Yes, exactly,
- 15:03Speaker 2: like it makes absolutely no sense why it is such
- 15:07Speaker 2: a big deal. And clearly if she's waiting till last
- 15:11Speaker 2: minute to do her notary, then she doesn't have the
- 15:14Speaker 2: best memory.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Okay, so exactly my point. If I got to lunch
- 15:19Speaker 3: with my best friend Iris, there's nothing really to take
- 15:21Speaker 3: notes on, is not I'm not gonna need to remember
- 15:24Speaker 3: that Jordan she forgot to pick Jordan up at at wrestling.
- 15:28Speaker 3: I don't give it right. Yeah, like you're on a
- 15:30Speaker 3: reality TV show, Do not think listeners? Because I do
- 15:34Speaker 3: know that people don't take notes. They go home, they
- 15:36Speaker 3: watch the episode's back, they write stuff down because you
- 15:38Speaker 3: want to be armed.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Yes, I mean I s may't probably take notes, but
- 15:42Speaker 2: at that point my memory was on point.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 2: So but some people, I mean, Alexia made a good point.
- 15:48Speaker 2: She's like, I don't have to take notes because I
- 15:49Speaker 2: have a good memory. Some people don't. And I think
- 15:52Speaker 2: Lisa is a little flighty and forgets shit.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and you know that shit's coming back at you.
- 15:56Speaker 3: You want to be able to have stuff at like
- 15:58Speaker 3: your fingertips, and when you miss.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Member speak and you say one wrong word that somebody
- 16:04Speaker 2: else said about you, they will beat that down correct
- 16:07Speaker 2: to the end. So she's like, I'm gonna maybe she
- 16:11Speaker 2: shouldn't do it at the table though.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean only because you're gonna get shit about it.
- 16:15Speaker 3: But I just feel like everyone goes back after a
- 16:18Speaker 3: day of filming and tries to remember and thinking it
- 16:22Speaker 3: through and you know, talking about it with what did
- 16:25Speaker 3: she say? What did she say? Wait, let me write
- 16:26Speaker 3: that down. At least that's been my experience.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. Then the girls all head down to dinner,
- 16:32Speaker 2: but guess who's missing Lisa? Lisa. At this point, I
- 16:37Speaker 2: wish they would just break the fourth wall and say
- 16:39Speaker 2: if we can all get ready on film so and
- 16:43Speaker 2: just like take this seriously and be there at the
- 16:46Speaker 2: right time. That's what we're actually pissed about.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree, And because I don't.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Think they would really care if you're going to dinner
- 16:54Speaker 2: with eight people and one person's like, you don't in
- 16:58Speaker 2: real life, you don't really care, do you.
- 17:00Speaker 3: We certainly don't take it personally. I wouldn't be like
- 17:02Speaker 3: like when they were on the sprinter van and she
- 17:05Speaker 3: was late and Stephanie laid into her. Yeah it's rude,
- 17:08Speaker 3: It is rude, but that's a normal life. You would
- 17:10Speaker 3: have just left, yeah, like and then say you're a
- 17:13Speaker 3: loser enough. But like, you know, I don't think maybe
- 17:17Speaker 3: they're trying to also right now, like paint a picture
- 17:19Speaker 3: of hers always being perpetually late and they're allowing it.
- 17:22Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I think they're trying to paint a picture of her
- 17:25Speaker 2: being inconsiderate, yeah of other people, like I'm caring about herself. Yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 2: and I mean it is definitely coming off, but it
- 17:32Speaker 2: feels like they really think she's not taking her job
- 17:37Speaker 2: as seriously as all of us have tom and that
- 17:40Speaker 2: would piss I mean, that would probably piss me off too.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Well, this particular time, she wasn't going to go to
- 17:45Speaker 3: the dinner. It's I thought that, like she needed convincing,
- 17:48Speaker 3: so that's why she was like.
- 17:49Speaker 2: We didn't really even get any of the convincing.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't see Maybe could they have pulled that
- 17:54Speaker 3: out just so that it looked like.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Remember she clayed down and said she was going to
- 17:58Speaker 2: be late, Yes, so we got a flashback of you know,
- 18:02Speaker 2: it happening.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Right, was convinced. First, I don't know if I were Okay,
- 18:07Speaker 3: I I were her, I would have been on high alert,
- 18:09Speaker 3: like like note to self, do not be late, be
- 18:13Speaker 3: on time, on time?
- 18:15Speaker 2: Ready, Yes. Then the girls all get to dinner. Adriana
- 18:31Speaker 2: tells the girls that Lisa unfollowed Marcus, and this blows
- 18:35Speaker 2: everything up, This blows stuff up.
- 18:38Speaker 3: You don't think that that was a great like Housewives,
- 18:40Speaker 3: see though it was so it was perfect Housewives, Like, I.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Mean the blow up was it got to those too much?
- 18:50Speaker 2: I thought it was too much because of what happened
- 18:53Speaker 2: with Kiki.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Adriana.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Once Kiki and Adriana kind of got involved in
- 19:01Speaker 2: the fight escalated, That's when I was like, it was
- 19:03Speaker 2: too much.
- 19:03Speaker 3: It was the ratchet of it all. And clearly she
- 19:05Speaker 3: heard Lisa say please don't say anything because they flashed
- 19:09Speaker 3: back to it, so she definitely got to it. But
- 19:11Speaker 3: I think she was trying to deliver good news.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Yeah, because they were all talking about Lisa in a
- 19:15Speaker 2: poor way, and she's like, but she unfollowed Marcus.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Right, Adriana was like spreading the good news. But I
- 19:22Speaker 3: don't know. Also, why Lisa would have wanted it to
- 19:24Speaker 3: be a secret. I would have thought that she would
- 19:26Speaker 3: have been like excited for Larsa to find out that
- 19:30Speaker 3: she finally unfollowed him.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Well, then it's like she's given in, I think, in
- 19:34Speaker 2: her opinion, and she just wanted it to be under
- 19:37Speaker 2: the rate, like she wanted to do the right thing,
- 19:39Speaker 2: but she also didn't want it to be a thing right,
- 19:42Speaker 2: or maybe she wanted to reveal it herself, Like did
- 19:45Speaker 2: you even notice that I unfollowed Marcus after making such
- 19:47Speaker 2: a big deal that I followed him?
- 19:49Speaker 3: Yeah, she didn't follow him, you bitch. Yeah, it was
- 19:54Speaker 3: her drop moment. Yeah, but but I didn't. I wasn't
- 19:57Speaker 3: mad at Adriana about it.
- 19:59Speaker 2: I wasn't mad at age, but I did get mad
- 20:01Speaker 2: at Adrana later on in the episode. And then Lisa
- 20:08Speaker 2: finally gets there. She walks in like she's solved world peace,
- 20:12Speaker 2: Like her, does she unfollowed Marcus? Or what she is?
- 20:21Speaker 2: Coming in hot? She's like, hey, everyone.
- 20:25Speaker 3: What's what's up? What's the gossip?
- 20:29Speaker 2: What's the four one one?
- 20:31Speaker 3: I love that, you know, going into a room like that,
- 20:34Speaker 3: you know you're going into the lions Den, right, So
- 20:36Speaker 3: she we've definitely established the fact that right now, like
- 20:40Speaker 3: she's the punching bag, right, everyone is out for Lisa,
- 20:43Speaker 3: so you're walking into that knowing what's coming. I think
- 20:45Speaker 3: she handled it beautifully.
- 20:47Speaker 2: What's up, guys?
- 20:49Speaker 3: I love it. Hey, I think it's brilliant.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Hey, how you doing? Yeah? Just whatever? And then Kiki
- 20:57Speaker 2: immediately is like Adriana was running her mouth. Yeah, and
- 21:03Speaker 2: Adriana tells Kiki this is where it goes south. Yes,
- 21:07Speaker 2: Adriana tells Kiki stop being so ratchet? Ratchet right when
- 21:13Speaker 2: that happens, when Adriana just says ratchet, it's so inappropriate.
- 21:20Speaker 2: And the fact that she's more offended about being old
- 21:22Speaker 2: is just banast to me because.
- 21:25Speaker 3: You could yeah, yeah, you could see Kiki the way
- 21:28Speaker 3: that she reacted. I feel like maybe she felt like
- 21:32Speaker 3: it was a microaggression.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I did too. And then when she blows up over
- 21:37Speaker 2: being called old, what the fuck is Stephanie doing? Why
- 21:40Speaker 2: is she crying? Why is she having a.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Okay, I'm telling you, I I can't with this woman.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I don't know, And I know it's funny because I
- 21:48Speaker 3: I this is someone else recently on a pod, Like
- 21:52Speaker 3: I know that viewers really love rich Housewise at least
- 21:56Speaker 3: that's what I hear, right, they love like that, they're
- 21:59Speaker 3: so aspiration I used to. I mean, I always died
- 22:05Speaker 3: from Lisa vander Pomp. I can't remember if that's a
- 22:07Speaker 3: good or bad thing to say to you. I just
- 22:08Speaker 3: always anyway, right, okay, okay. So I just loved watching
- 22:12Speaker 3: her and the way that she lived her life. But
- 22:17Speaker 3: for me, it's just obnoxious. There is this this woman
- 22:21Speaker 3: and this has nothing to really do I guess to
- 22:23Speaker 3: do with the crying all that that felt like it
- 22:25Speaker 3: was put on as well.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Like she's so humiliated, like you're on the show and
- 22:29Speaker 2: weren't like I feel like in a previous episode she
- 22:32Speaker 2: was at his table screaming at Alexia, like relax.
- 22:36Speaker 3: This is your job, now, come on, And what exactly
- 22:39Speaker 3: is she crying about? I mean, but we went from
- 22:42Speaker 3: the hysterical crying straight into the seat charts for the
- 22:46Speaker 3: what yeah with me Teddy plane?
- 22:49Speaker 2: Oh, for the plain seat charts.
- 22:51Speaker 3: I can't so.
- 22:52Speaker 2: But first Larsa, Stephanie, and Alexia and Marisol all go
- 22:56Speaker 2: back to the hotel. So the fighting has gotten to
- 22:58Speaker 2: the point where Stephanie is it and has to be
- 23:01Speaker 2: escorted out of the restaurant escorted in a way because
- 23:04Speaker 2: she's mentally can't take it. She's crying in the backseat,
- 23:09Speaker 2: and they lay out the seating Oh wait arrangement.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Teddy Wait. I'm sorry to interrupt you, but I have
- 23:15Speaker 3: to ask you something. Okay, Yes, not only you, you're
- 23:18Speaker 3: one of the people in the Baravo sphere who gave
- 23:21Speaker 3: me a lot of shit for leaving my finale yes
- 23:25Speaker 3: on Jersey. So I'm very I am hyper aware of
- 23:28Speaker 3: people leaving. People are leaving, getting up and walking away
- 23:31Speaker 3: Miami all the time.
- 23:34Speaker 2: It's exhausting because then it separates the group. That's why
- 23:39Speaker 2: I wish the whole point of Housewives is fighting and
- 23:42Speaker 2: then resolution, right, and that's what I enjoy.
- 23:45Speaker 3: So it staying to get the resolution.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to stay in it. And you also
- 23:50Speaker 2: these could be learning opportunities. Yeah, walking out and leaving
- 23:53Speaker 2: and doing a seating chart, but also not just a
- 23:56Speaker 2: seating chart, deciding where and if that person is even
- 24:00Speaker 2: going to be able to sit on the plane, and
- 24:02Speaker 2: putting one person in a room by them side themselves.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Please, when why does the plane have one room for
- 24:09Speaker 3: a person to sit alone? Is it the bad?
- 24:12Speaker 2: I think it's the bedroom.
- 24:14Speaker 3: They have a bedroom on the It's weird, but I
- 24:17Speaker 3: would do that to someone.
- 24:19Speaker 2: This is how many times this season are we going
- 24:21Speaker 2: to see Stephanie tell us about her plane, use it
- 24:24Speaker 2: over everybody. Larsa never even said I don't care if
- 24:27Speaker 2: they come on the plane or not.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Never, It was all Stephanie and KEKs at this point.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Keiki hasn't said anything, Adriana hasn't said anything. Just this
- 24:37Speaker 2: is now another way for Stephanie to show I'm rich
- 24:42Speaker 2: and I'm making.
- 24:43Speaker 3: You forget it. Fair Yep, I'm rich and don't forget it.
- 24:46Speaker 3: The thing that annoys me, maybe even more than Stephanie
- 24:48Speaker 3: continuing to push that narrative, is the fact that none
- 24:52Speaker 3: of these women tell her enough like shut up about
- 24:56Speaker 3: your stupid fucking plane, shut.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Up about your stupid plane, and shut about a certain
- 25:00Speaker 2: cares here's and also in reality not to I'm not
- 25:05Speaker 2: to brag here, but my dad has a private jet.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Right This is the way it works for I would.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Say every private jet I've ever been on in my
- 25:15Speaker 2: entire life, of any human that has one, or he
- 25:19Speaker 2: charters one, or whatever it may be, I don't know,
- 25:21Speaker 2: but he has his spot where he always sits, and
- 25:27Speaker 2: then everybody else on the plane sits wherever.
- 25:30Speaker 3: We will figure it out.
- 25:32Speaker 2: And that's like, it's just like the same thing with
- 25:35Speaker 2: you're not late to a private jet. There's like certain
- 25:37Speaker 2: private jet etiquette. But talking about this, if I sat
- 25:42Speaker 2: down and I was going to go on a trip
- 25:44Speaker 2: with my dad and I was going to go on
- 25:45Speaker 2: his plane and he told me the seating chart, I'd
- 25:49Speaker 2: be like, are you kidding me? I know exactly where
- 25:52Speaker 2: he is. I know you sit the second row on
- 25:55Speaker 2: the right hand side facing this way. I got it.
- 25:58Speaker 3: I know you're not You could make that call, yes, yeah.
- 26:02Speaker 2: But other than that, don't try to tell me where
- 26:04Speaker 2: I can said if I'm going to sit on the
- 26:06Speaker 2: sideway seat, or if I'm going to sit like, I'm
- 26:09Speaker 2: just happy to be there and I'm happy that I
- 26:11Speaker 2: have the opportunity for Do you.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Think that it's that she just she just wants to
- 26:14Speaker 3: continue the conversation just in case anyone missed it. I
- 26:17Speaker 3: have a private jet. I have a private plane.
- 26:20Speaker 6: It's a shame because I think she's funny. I think
- 26:23Speaker 6: people are loving her. I feel a lott well now
- 26:25Speaker 6: I don't eymore. I feel like you're with me, but
- 26:26Speaker 6: like I kind of feel alone and I am. You know,
- 26:29Speaker 6: when I enjoyed her when she was talking about her
- 26:32Speaker 6: husband and she's like, I am obsessed with my husband.
- 26:35Speaker 6: I love him, I want to be around him. I
- 26:37Speaker 6: love his I thought that was he just seems sincere.
- 26:39Speaker 6: It was really really cute to me. But the posing
- 26:43Speaker 6: of it all is it's ruining it.
- 26:45Speaker 2: That's because I think she's funny. I like her confessionals.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I think she stands up to the women. I think
- 26:51Speaker 2: they need that agreed. But I do wish all the
- 26:53Speaker 2: women were like enough enough if you.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Want to do them for not like shutting it down already.
- 26:59Speaker 2: But that it's they're all. It's like when somebody's I know,
- 27:03Speaker 2: we're going to get into more penis talk, but when
- 27:04Speaker 2: somebody's addicted to the d it's like they're addicted to
- 27:08Speaker 2: the private jet the pis.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Yes, that's true. Well, it's like it's also like the
- 27:13Speaker 3: big dick energy, right. Yeah, She's like exerting and it's
- 27:19Speaker 3: it's a turnoff.
- 27:20Speaker 2: It's a turnoff for me, Like I'm like like.
- 27:23Speaker 3: The wall of Burkins or whatever.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I don't know, but I agree with Marisol on the point.
- 27:31Speaker 2: This is a twenty two minute plane ride, and I
- 27:34Speaker 2: mean I've said voice notes longer than twenty two minutes.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Okay, exactly.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Okay, so now, but we haven't really talked about how
- 27:45Speaker 2: we feel about the storing of the phones.
- 27:49Speaker 3: I feel like, if I'm Lisa, yeah, and I have
- 27:53Speaker 3: two young kids here, no, you know what, if I'm
- 27:56Speaker 3: any of them and I have two young kids, fuck
- 27:59Speaker 3: you, you ain't taking my phone?
- 28:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 3: And I have a daughter with type one diabetes.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:05Speaker 3: And I remember being in situations like work situations and
- 28:09Speaker 3: my boss would say you can't have your phone or
- 28:12Speaker 3: you can't look at your phone. I'm like, well then
- 28:13Speaker 3: I quit. Yeah, it's very simple. There's it's a no
- 28:16Speaker 3: like and not just because she has diabetes, but it
- 28:18Speaker 3: was a non negotiable for me with little kids. It's
- 28:21Speaker 3: you need to have to feel like, yeah, sorry.
- 28:24Speaker 2: But they could say what why not just say no
- 28:26Speaker 2: taking notes on the phone, or that while we're in
- 28:30Speaker 2: the middle of a conversation, that let's just have common decency,
- 28:35Speaker 2: Like you're on your phone so much when we're all out,
- 28:38Speaker 2: we don't. It's like being late. It's all of these
- 28:41Speaker 2: things that are tied together. Lisa is showing this season
- 28:44Speaker 2: that she doesn't really care what the other women think,
- 28:47Speaker 2: and it's pissing them off. So they're turning it around
- 28:49Speaker 2: onto this being you know, taking notes, but really it's
- 28:53Speaker 2: just being inconsiderate of other people.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Correct Like she's late.
- 28:57Speaker 2: She's not engaging in any conversation that doesn't have to
- 28:59Speaker 2: do it herself, and she's.
- 29:02Speaker 3: And I may and I like Lisa, but she may
- 29:04Speaker 3: have that coming. Like it's been seasons of the one season.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Maybe it was the last season when they were they
- 29:10Speaker 3: were on that boat and they were all the animals.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Where were they not going to remember?
- 29:15Speaker 2: Oh?
- 29:15Speaker 3: Yes, I remember, and do you remember she was like
- 29:18Speaker 3: posing when who got sick? Julia? Yeah, Julia's are really sick,
- 29:22Speaker 3: and Lisa's in the background with the selfies as Julia
- 29:24Speaker 3: is like, right, it was Julia.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it was Julia. Julia was getting sick. And then
- 29:29Speaker 2: they like go to fuck where did they go? They
- 29:31Speaker 2: went to like not a grave, like a cemetery graveyard with.
- 29:35Speaker 3: All that, yes, and she was getting sick and they
- 29:36Speaker 3: had the they had the dolls.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and then they did the same thing. She was
- 29:40Speaker 2: doing the same thing at the narcissist event at the
- 29:44Speaker 2: selfies and the like there's a time and a place
- 29:47Speaker 2: for a selfie?
- 29:48Speaker 3: Yeah it was. And also was she did she lose
- 29:51Speaker 3: something on the way? All I remember is was Lisa
- 29:52Speaker 3: was just all about Lisa.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Did she lose lip gloss?
- 29:55Speaker 3: Yes, thank you? Maybe it was that. Maybe it was
- 29:58Speaker 3: lip gloss. Poor Julius over here like having a breakdown
- 30:03Speaker 3: and right, and that's how they showed it. And Lisa's
- 30:05Speaker 3: looking for her, all set about her lip gloss.
- 30:08Speaker 2: No, what else I'm over now that we've I remember
- 30:10Speaker 2: Julia's on the show. I so her trying to lighten
- 30:19Speaker 2: the mood by kissing everybody, especially bright red lipstick, Like
- 30:23Speaker 2: you're getting your lipstick on everybody?
- 30:25Speaker 3: What is with the kissing?
- 30:27Speaker 2: I don't understand it. You're not It's like we get
- 30:31Speaker 2: the shtick. You've already kissed the girls, like you're not,
- 30:35Speaker 2: Like nobody cares.
- 30:37Speaker 3: This is interesting. I couldn't give two shites.
- 30:39Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 30:39Speaker 3: It's it like, is she making a joke? So I
- 30:41Speaker 3: don't get it. What is the message here? Why is
- 30:43Speaker 3: she kissing everyone?
- 30:44Speaker 2: I think she's trying to say like instead because she
- 30:48Speaker 2: can't tell a joke. So she's like, Okay, maybe if
- 30:51Speaker 2: I go around and do this, everybody will start talking.
- 30:54Speaker 3: About me if it was funny. But it's not good.
- 30:56Speaker 2: That's my point. It's not funny. It's that they all
- 31:00Speaker 2: go on and on and on and she doesn't stop.
- 31:05Speaker 2: And also, we forgot to mention that this trip is
- 31:09Speaker 2: now for her. She's asking her best friends to be godparents.
- 31:15Speaker 2: But why are we just finding out about this now.
- 31:21Speaker 3: I don't know, because she just found out about it now.
- 31:23Speaker 3: She just thought of it in real time. Let's call
- 31:25Speaker 3: it what it is, you know. She's like, wait a second,
- 31:29Speaker 3: this will look good.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean the episode definitely. I feel like
- 31:34Speaker 2: Larsa wasn't that involved this episode. Yeah, probably because she's
- 31:41Speaker 2: sick of talking about the same thing over and over again.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I'm sick of watching well.
- 31:46Speaker 3: I mean, listen, there's a few things here that I
- 31:48Speaker 3: could never hear about again. The plane, yeah, the kissing correct,
- 31:55Speaker 3: and the just lost my train of thought. There was
- 32:00Speaker 3: something else that's just oh, the dick enough, take your plane,
- 32:05Speaker 3: put the dick on it, put the kissing on it,
- 32:07Speaker 3: fly away. It's enough.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Can I also say something in Marisol, I love you
- 32:11Speaker 2: to death, and who else wore one. I'm kind of
- 32:15Speaker 2: done with headbands.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Because the headbands and the bows. What's up with the bows?
- 32:22Speaker 3: Did I don't know?
- 32:25Speaker 2: The other day too and Marisol with the headband, like
- 32:29Speaker 2: I is it because we're on day three of not
- 32:32Speaker 2: washing our hair, so we're just maybe the big headband on.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Maybe done with.
- 32:36Speaker 3: The headband, done with the head I done with the bows,
- 32:40Speaker 3: like these are grown? What is with the boat? It
- 32:42Speaker 3: was Stephanie and then it was Lisa. And they're not
- 32:45Speaker 3: like sophisticated bows. I'm not seeing them putting away that.
- 32:48Speaker 3: They're literally like I would used to put my daughter's
- 32:51Speaker 3: hair like in the back. With this happening, yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 2: No, I don't get it. I don't get it. But
- 32:57Speaker 2: granted I'll probably gonna like see you at somewhere like
- 33:01Speaker 2: a bow.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Well, I'm not going to allow it. I'll tell you
- 33:05Speaker 3: that right now. And you've done so well with your
