Why Batman Would Actually Hurt The New DCU
The new James Gunn DCU does NOT need Batman. Superman and the amazing cast of characters we've already met, and the more to come, can carry this franchise on their own without needing to lean on the Bat. This will allow for the DCU to establish itself and its characters, especially B, C, and even D list characters, without living in the shadow of Batman. AND this will allow for Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson's Batman to have the stage to themselves for Batman movies.
