  Can you believe I'm seven years old already? I'm old enough now to introduce my dad.

  Two thousand came and the spark was lit. A testimony raw, it wouldn't quit.

  It's mother's voice, a guiding thread.

  On and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin. Today's episode is a little different.

  It's more personal. And honestly, it's coming straight from the heart.

  By the time you're listening to this, I'm already at the hospital sitting with

  my father and praying with him before he goes in for surgery.

  I mean, today is Friday, May 8th. My dad is Angel Santana Sr.
• 1:15
  And by the way, 2026, just for future archives.

  And he's having a pacemaker installed. And I want to share something with you.
• 1:22
  I'm the youngest of four and I'm named after my father.
• 1:26
  He's not just my dad, he's my best friend. And he stood by my side as my best man at my wedding.
• 1:32
  And he stood by me through some of the hardest moments of my life.
• 1:37
  My father's been through a lot, especially these past couple of years with his health.
• 1:42
  But this moment, this surgery is actually a blessing.
• 1:46
  Because I know he needs it. And I know that this is going to give him peace
• 1:51
  and give us peace. knowing that there is that extra layer of protection there for him.

  And this procedure, it's a common one and it's a successful one.

  And I'm trusting that everything is going to go well today.

  You know, when you're a son and your father is in need of you, that's your moment.

  That's your time to be there for him the same way he's been there for you.

  And I think about everything my father did for me.

  Especially during the times in my life when I was struggling,
• 2:27
  when I was dealing with depression.
• 2:29
  He was there. So now I make it a point to give that back tenfold.

  And now being a father myself and with two children of my own,

  I see it differently and I understand it more.

  And I try every day to love my kids in the same way so that one day they'll
• 2:50
  understand just how much they mean to me.

  And I hope that you all feel the same way.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come to you today with gratitude and with trust.

  We thank you for my father, for his life, for his strength, and for everything
• 3:08
  he's poured into our family.

  Lord, we ask that you guide the hands of the doctors, that this procedure goes
• 3:16
  smoothly, and that everything is successful.

  Give him peace. Give our family peace and remind us that you are in control.
