- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: She's muted again.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: This is the only way that we can get to say what we want to say without TB and able to break in here.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: This is tea time with Robin.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: She's T. I'm Robin.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: We talk about bills football in case you haven't noticed.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: And we have so much to talk about today.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know if I'm going to have to do this whole show by myself.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: You're not.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'm here.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like she said, this is deep time with Robin.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_02]: I hate my computer, but it's all good.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I have a partner because you know what, when I go down, she's she's right there.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm right there.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm ready to say that.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_02]: I appreciate you guys being here.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, well, that's some things to talk about.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: Apparently their, um, have been some hiring, some more hiring that has happened.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_02]: And we're here to discuss it.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to share this as well as I do this.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're good at multitasking.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: I am so I try to try.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: We have a lot to talk about.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the high rings and all of them I'm intrigued by and one thing we can certainly say for sure across the board with all of these high rings, this isn't going to be looking anything like Sean McDermott's Buffalo Bills.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_02]: No, then I love it to be quite honest with you and I know.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: There have been concerns, and what is Brady gonna do?
- 1:56[SPEAKER_02]: Brady has been on a tour.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's been everywhere, apparently.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: He's been on a talking circuit.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I gave him, hey, Sandra, I'd give it.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: He has to put his stamp on this regime of the Buffalo Bells, and I so get it.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not mad that he's doing that.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but let's talk about the first guy.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_02]: He's, um, he's been back with someone that he's been with what and was in New Orleans.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: He came to my car, my two.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, junior, who Brady knew, um, two years after what, he's he's a 15 year OC.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_02]: He's been doing this long time.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_02]: Now he's with, he was with Denver for two years.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: Now he's with the Buffalo Bills.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: He wants to help Brady and the, what is it the day to day?
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: The day to day apparently Joe Brady said, I think it was recently that they asked him what does the OC do when you call the close and he says make sure.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: that I can call the place.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: If something happens where I can't call the place for whatever reason, he can call the place.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: So he still sees that as a number as a number one priority plus.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the thing coming from the Sean Peyton Tree, which it looks like many of the higherings that we're going to talk about have connections to the Sean Peyton Tree.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to change the way the entire offense looks and I think in part because of what Sean McDermott had as a mandate for the offense was to have the focus be on the running game more than it had been under Ken Dorsey and even Brian Dayball for that matter, but this offense.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: is going to look different because it's going to be more Sean Peyton like in that you'll see a lot more scheming up the offense differently.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're going to see more crazy plays if you will.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: John Payton is known for that.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: There'll be some other things I'm going to be looking for out of him.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: But if you think about it, think about Drew Breeze in his greatest years.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: Drew Breeze worked with mostly P. Carmichael.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: So John Payton was a head coach.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: So that relationship,
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: is very solid.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: And we all know what happened with Drew Grease.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: He went to New Orleans and made a name for himself.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: I want to super bowl.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think that this is what they plan on seeing happen with Josh Allen.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see Josh function in a different role than he has in the past.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm anxious to see what it's going to all look like.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_02]: What's going on with the screen games?
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: The screens are not going anywhere, guys.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: Just let, you know, right now, they're not going anywhere at part of the bubble of those apparently.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: And not even that.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: I like the fact that they use the screen in a different way and the playoff.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: So the screen game is for a purpose as a fan, a not a fan of the screen.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_02]: So when I see it, I just cringe.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: And I know a lot of us is that way as well.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: Was also asked about it, supposed to play.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, down the field,
- 5:40[SPEAKER_02]: that they know they need to acknowledge that they're, that's a limited game in the Buffalo Bill's office.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: So I think they're gonna do more, make a more of an attempt to, you know, help Josh out and Josh.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: Now, his long ball is just not there.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like... Yeah, and I honestly, I think some of that to be fair to him toward the end of the season was because of his foot.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: He would not say it.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: He wouldn't admit to it, whatever, but you can't tell me that that was not affecting his throwing motion because it was.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: But that's why he didn't run a lot.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: His foot was a problem that he didn't really want anybody to talk about.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think about going back to what you were saying about screens,
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: screen passes have never been Josh's greatest strength.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: So I would imagine the in training camp there's going to be a lot of work on on timing and all that sort of thing.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: I have this question for you.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think about maybe if they're going to be using the screen gain more?
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: What about getting our running backs more involved in the passing game?
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: So when James Cook came out of the draft and they draft in the bill's draft them, that's what James Cook, that's his game.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't understand it and not even that.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's also very Davis and it's also Ty Johnson.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like I just don't understand why it's not being utilized.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like you have three guys that can do that and you don't use it.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_02]: It is beyond, excuse me, beyond me, why they don't.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's another part of the offense.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: And hopefully that's what we're going to see more of as the offense evolves.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: And it better evolve because last year, you know, thank God James Cook ran like he did.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Thank God.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: You had a big no and we've always said this because we'll bring it right back to this.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of a lot of people in the fanbase that want to James Cook on.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: Imagine him not being in this offense and what this offense when it looked like him not being removed.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: Because right Davis love him like he found the position on this field like he was not it.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_02]: Ty Johnson, same thing.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm glad they kept them.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_02]: Whoever said, listen, let's come to the table and negotiate because I think we need you and I wanna be here.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad whoever did it did it.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: Because I couldn't imagine this offense without James Cook.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: Sandra said, Britney's calling, play calling a lot with everything else, it might be too much.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think it will be for the first year for someone who's not been ahead of coach.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you are O.C.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_02]: And that's where you have Carmichael, right?
- 9:00[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_02]: Doing the ends and outs of everything can't be here, particularly after be there, after be there.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_02]: So to trust someone that can do that and know, they can do it, you know, that's a way off of him.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's a big weight off of him and somebody that he's worked with in the past.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: I know there was some criticism in people were saying, Will he's hiring all of his friends and whatever?
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's not necessarily true just because he worked with somebody.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't mean that they played golf together.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_02]: And not even I would want to.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_02]: If I have relations with people and I know I've worked with you and I'm like,
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: get Pete on a phone, need him, John, get John on a phone, need him.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_02]: And not even that, like Joe Brady knew that he wanted to be a OC, like Joe Brady climbed to the ladder of being a head coach.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: So in that ladder, right?
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: And with in that ladder you come across people that you
- 10:06[SPEAKER_02]: structure in this Buffalo Bill's organization, and you know, I can't wait to see how it comes together.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: And the staff can go through and talk about this more that he is assembled and put together.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Is it really an interesting group of people in terms of like mindedness, but not like mindedness.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: He was talking about, I don't want to bunch of Joe Brady's.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: We don't either, Joe.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: We don't need to hold already, but speaking of, I don't need a bunch of Joe Brady's, let's move on to the new all new big news of the DC.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: This might be the biggest position.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_02]: amongst all the positions, this might be the biggest, because us bills fans have seen what this defense have done can do, and I think we're over it, right?
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: Cause we can become, we all have been playing for you.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: Can you say what you're saying?
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm done with that.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_02]: Prevent of defense, done with that too.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen it, we're over it.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_02]: And they have picked up a John, a John.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_02]: Jim.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: Jim Bo.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Leonard.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: John Leonard.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: Jim Leonard.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_02]: John.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about it.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's more of the odd front three four.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of man, aggressive defense, a text out.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_02]: And this is what we all want.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_02]: Attack, ears,
- 11:51[SPEAKER_02]: Talk to him, Roman.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: Oh man, girlfriend, I'm excited about the defense, but I'm even more excited that we landed Jim Leonard because older fans must remember he was a buffalo bill.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: and he wasn't just any old buffalo bill.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: He was a really good buffalo bill.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: Nice.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: He was a defensive back.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: He moved around in the back.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: He moved back and forth.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: This guy was a terrorist on the field.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: I hated it when he left.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: I hated it.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: He was beloved because he loved Buffalo.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's a Buffalo kind of guy.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: No nonsense.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: And the best thing of all is aggression.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: This is what we're getting back in our defense folks.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: We're getting aggression back again.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: I can't tell you how excited I am.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: Ben don't break.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: almost dicturonish and not even that Robin waiting for something to happen and then you can like it's I always felt like the bills was always counterpunching yeah they were never
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: First, you know, punch.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: They were always counterpunching.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: They were reacting.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: They were reacting.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: They were reacting to you.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what Jim Leonard said this morning.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: He's having his press or even, I think, as we speak.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: He talked about being aggressive from the front to the back.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: And that means the whole defense is going to be involved.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: The quarterback,
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: is in the eye, it's going to be boss to the walls people.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to look like anything we've seen in the last 10 years, not anything in the Sean McGerman era will resemble what this defense is going to look like.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: I like the term that he used aggressive defense, but not reckless.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, love it.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: I like it, right?
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: Highly aggressive.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: They want to, he wants the defense to force the offense to react to them.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: rather than the other way around, the defense having to react to what the offense does.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: Hell, no, we're gonna shove it right down your throat.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_02]: This is why I always was so like, why do you always put the defense on the field first if we get the, well, if we get the coin toss and you're like, let's put the defense out there.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, no, and I get why you do it because you want the ball at the, you know, get into the half, whatever the case may be, but you know, whatever.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_02]: Lajon said, please like and share, go to our YouTube channel.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: subscribe to the channel.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: Tell someone, tell a friend, tell someone.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: Um, John, you had this up.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_02]: AJ Eponessa may not come back because he's never played in three four.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, next our next pod, our next pod will be.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to be talking about the pressures that's happening right now.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: And we're also going to be talking about players that may not be
- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: be.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to cry.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not either.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not either.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: It is what it is.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_02]: But.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_02]: But also to I don't want to I don't want people to get caught up in the three four because also to he can switch it up and play a four three you know what I mean so I wouldn't get caught up in You know and no defense plays one scheme right exactly because you know, I'm hearing on Gregory Russo can't play in this.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm hearing like you said I'm age at Vanessa can't play.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: I just heard this on a pot and I don't know what thought I was listening to
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: Um, that they could put Rose Rose solo on the outside linebacker.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, bro.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: So we don't know.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: So I know it's a three, four and I know because when I think of three, four, I think of Rex Ryan, came in here and messed a defense up.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: So I was like, three, four, I'm like, I'm not a three, four.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: You think of it this way, Sean McDermott and Brandon being have never been able to put together in my view a very good defensive line.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: So at least they won't have that many defensive linemen to screw up.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's a good thing.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: And also too,
- 16:38[SPEAKER_02]: to be quite honest, they have players.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: They have damn, we're not going to get into it, but with the big guy, Mr. Bing, Mr. Teddy Bear, Mr.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_02]: Dancing Feet.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know who picked it.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care who picked the draft pick.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: He's still here.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: So and he's still good and he still can he can he can play knows tackle.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: He can he could play on the outside even though move him around.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about it.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: But there's this just opens up that's the bottom line is this defense.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's going to have any tape on.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Right, and seriously, there are going to be some serious advantages.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: The bills are going to have by biting campus going to be interesting.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait to go to training camp.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: And it's going to be one of those things again.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be one of those.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_02]: But let me ask you Robin, do you like to switch?
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: Are you a fan?
- 17:32[SPEAKER_02]: Because I know you've seen a lot of bills.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_02]: No, didn't want to say that.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_00]: Are you excited about this?
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm through the roof.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: I am through the roof about it to be honest with you.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: I have never been a fan of the Dicturon Ben, don't break defense.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: Never have.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: We played.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: at a high level on occasion.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: But it didn't seem like our defense was ever on a significant role over any length of time.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I love the fact that we also have players that might be able to fit, and we'll talk about this again, too, the scheme better, right?
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thinking of people like Michael Hoyt, for example.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I didn't think I was in Sandra, yep.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: They might fit the scheme better, because we can move around.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm all over this.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: The aggression, I think it's the nature of Bill's fans as a whole to prefer a more aggressive defense.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, when Sean was kind of aggressive,
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: We were excited about it and you know, you can't break a old dog in his habits and Sean would write back to what he's used to, but when you're seeing Sean be aggressive and be, you know, more taking a risk, you're like, okay, this is what I like, but again, you're going to go back to what you know, and then I think as fans, we're just like, I'm over that, you know, I'm over that with this type of DC, DC.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: you want to keep them guessing this what this this is what this guy does you want to keep that old office of coordinator guessing and this which is is going to be huge and I think it's going to be huge for at Oliver too so yeah we're going to talk about it next week go ahead sorry yeah but I just want to add what John Roberts said chat Thompson is played in a three four and they should resign him yes yeah he he made a statement on Twitter I think it was yesterday yes it was I saying it
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, one bill's live made a comment, I think I didn't see it in the four three and that maybe he wouldn't be a fit in a three four and he corrected them.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: which I thought he was very polite, but he's played in a three-four.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: Bring him back, please bring him back.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: Because we also know, Matt Milano is probably not going to be coming back.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: No, he's not.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I saw yesterday by the way, they had a nice layout in architectural digest of Matt Milano's secret little home in Western New York.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_02]: He is so minimalistic, right?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: Is that the word?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he is.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he is.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 20:23[SPEAKER_02]: The theory.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: Being a free agent, one thing I know about our architectural digest, people don't put their homes up in pictorials for our architectural digest.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, they're going to put their house on the market.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: And Mammalano has always been super private.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: You know, super private person.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was surprised.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's why.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: because it's probably going on in the market.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_02]: I hate to see him go again.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: Once they traded, once they'd let Tray Weiko, I was done.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't have any more connections.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad Tray Weiko came back.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_02]: But again, I'm done with that.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: My connections to players.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_02]: I love Matt Milano, what he did for the Buffalo Bills and that linebacked the position and how he played it with
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they were good, but again, we just time to move on.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_02]: Another lime in that, oh, and I want to talk about it.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, another, um, because I could just go in, we could just go on and think about it.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we could, um, another surprising news for me.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_02]: The strength and conditioning coach, Sean McDermott said the performance staff, they're not going anywhere.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, you're ready?
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: No, oh, Shami, I'm sorry, Brandon being said that they're not going anywhere.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_02]: So for me, that was shocking because of all of the soft tissues that happened and you're still going to keep the guys.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me, Robin, what was your thoughts when you've seen it?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_02]: Cause you actually text me.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: I was a little disappointed, but on the other hand, I'm thinking with so much change going on in the organization, if they give them another year, okay, let's see what happens.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: What I thought was interesting about that, though, was a comment that Dion Dawkins made yesterday.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: What did you get this?
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: He says that he plans to play this season at the lightest weight that he's ever played in his career.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_02]: In his life.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: So he must have knew he must have seen himself on mic up and was like, look at me.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, I told you.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you did.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: And
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know about how I feel about that because let's remember when we try to reconfigure a player's body, I can think of how long did it take for them to figure out AJ Eponus's bot correct body weight.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_02]: And they kind of messed that up too though.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: They did.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm a little worried like, okay, that's fine, Dion.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: Come back later than you've ever been before.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: How much is that going to affect you?
- 23:32[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we knew last year Deon got sick and then he came back and he put the weight on and you seen he got penalized a lot holding this in the third move is right it didn't look good and when I watched the mic up I was like, Deon doesn't look good at all.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: Like he didn't look like he was one of those.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he don't give me Ron Dion is a top, you know, tackle and NFL, but before it used to be top five, top three.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if you haven't smacked that guy anymore, he's not.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so I wasn't mad if he lose weight great for him.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: If he wants to do that awesome because he's going to
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: The leaves are starting to cool.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: So, right in there somewhere.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: And the other thing about Dion, since we're on the topic, it is worth mentioning too.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: You said he had the flu, I believe it was, and he dropped 14 pounds and one day, I think he said it's like, whoa.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: Dion isn't the most healthy person.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: If you remember back during the COVID era,
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: He got COVID twice, he ended up in the hospital.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it probably wouldn't hurt for him to lose weight.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just concerned about reconstructing his entire body and then wondering if that's going to affect how he plays.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I just don't know the answer to that.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: And it'll be interesting to see how the new offensive line
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be interesting.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: Because you and I talked about this on the last pot, I believe, in terms of maybe moving him inside, and I still think that's a viable possibility, but we'll just have to see what happens.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: But as far as keeping the strength and conditioning coaches, I don't think we have enough data to say the soft tissue injuries was on them.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not saying that we also don't have enough data to say that it wasn't.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: So, okay, give this staff another year.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: But let's have a little close eye on the number of injuries that we see.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they're under the microscope.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think they're under the microscope.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm fine with it.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: And they're the microscope.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's a lot.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: I think this first year,
- 26:19[SPEAKER_02]: And, and I'm a slowening, I'll joe break, of course, and, you know, some of the, the position court coaches, of course, but when it comes to, I'll talk about it when my, my, I'm, my skill the T because there's, there's a, there's a, there's a microscope that's going to be happening and we'll, we'll discuss it, what my skill the T. But the next,
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: coach position coach that they hired was linebacker's coach.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: I did not know this and probably could help me out with this inside outside.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_02]: I'm thinking okay linebacker's coach did not know we needed an inside and an outside but they hired Bobby A pro the third and John Egoragu.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yes one on the inside linebacker and the outside linebacker.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: Again, we're gonna talk about a Dorian Williams baby.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: He's back.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's back.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: He might be the missing piece when it comes to this linebacker room.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: I am excited for Dorian Williams.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_02]: I've never been so excited for a player in my life.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_02]: Dorian Williams might just be, and is what he's playing on his, is his step, I mean friends, will fit his style to a tee.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: Get ballsy ball, go get ball Dorian.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: Dorian, everybody in their pathway.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: This defense is meant for Dorian.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: And another guy who will flourish in this defense, believe it or not, I think will be Joe and Dreson.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he's a fellow Joe.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: Buffalo Joe.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: Buffalo Joe might just find his is niche in this in this defense.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: So he's another guy that loves to slam dunk hit him hard and
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm so excited.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_02]: You asked me to go excited about not even that on top of all that.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: Again, we're going to talk about next week on top of all of that.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_02]: This is a linebacker class.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_02]: This job, you can pick and choose what you won't be there in there.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_02]: They're in there.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_00]: So he's too.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yes, yes, so off all linebackers are in this this draft class.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so excited.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: Let me ask you.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: there's another guy that you know what I was surprised that they let go was a quarter of that coach.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_02]: I was surprised they let him go um not I'm not gonna mess his name up but surprised that he was let go and he's in Miami right now but okay they did pick up a guy
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yes, he helped one of the best defense in college.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: So he led.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_02]: He led one of the best defense of college and Arcaso.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: Was it Arcaso?
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody's if you know, please put it in the comments.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: But I ran current.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's who it was.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't think of his name.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks, John.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we're okay.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_02]: Was it round cork?
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: Was it?
- 29:38[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, Curry.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was somebody else.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but I'm excited for this guy too.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, we have been for it.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_02]: We have Harrison.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: So, and I don't know, I'm the back of it.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to go get They got a strong, just got some dimes and update.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: He was going to be that guy right and they just got an update that he's going to have a procedure.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_02]: Don't want to say that he this might be a procedure that end his career in football.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: It will be praying that it doesn't, but my yeah, he's going to have a procedure.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: What we've seen of him, I thought it was promising.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's tragic and you worry about guys that have procedures on their next and then come back and any level because it's just the neck is just so delicate.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: I mean look at Eric what's?
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: Oh he was done.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_02]: He was done.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_02]: He went to go have his what his end of the
- 30:56[SPEAKER_02]: we let you go out here and play again and you might be paralyzed.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: So he did went and get another second opinion, and they told him the same thing.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_02]: So Eric Woods was like, he was, Eric was was like the second cow Williams.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's how of an impact he had what this team and the sinner and everything.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: And I forgot he did not, he didn't play what Josh, did he play what Josh
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: one year.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: Well, okay.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so that was devastating.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_02]: I heard that news I was sitting in the car and I was like, wait, he's her tie.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_02]: I get out of here.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_02]: And he was still young.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_02]: He was exactly.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think he was the only
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, you know, that's my story and strong and that's the other thing.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_00]: This is a different situation in terms of being a defensive back, you, you use your head and your neck and you're tackling and it's, it makes me very crazy to think about him coming back.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_00]: I, I hope he really thinks about it seriously, come back to coach to something but be safe.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm for sure.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want it.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: Next starts off next or nothing to mess with.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to be praying for them.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: But it's time for us to spill the tea guys here with you.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_00]: Are you talking now?
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: Look at you again.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: Look at her again.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: So she's going to leave it on me to spill the tea before she wants to be one.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: You.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: So my spill the tea is, um, I love Brandon being.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: He told y'all.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: Death.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: Appet.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: It was on me.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: Let me read it.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: Let me read what he said.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: Let me answer it.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: Give it to me.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: He said, Effort, the outside.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's about the right selection for this team.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_02]: And if we win, they'll love it.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's the same thing that happened when I took Josh Allen.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm wrong.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: The movie company will be outside of my house.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: So I understand.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm with you, listen, brand of being bumpy outside noise and that includes me because I'm the outside noise and I know brand of being what the brand of being is going, I don't know I'm like that, let me, let me stop.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_02]: Anytime you question someone's any man and woman's ability to do something that they're job whatever, they're going to show you.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to show you.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_02]: And I think this is a season of Brandon being showing us.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_02]: And hopefully he goes all in, not all in to where F. those fix and I know everybody wants to say F. those fix, I'm kind of with you too.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_02]: But Brandon being this never been that type of GM and maybe he will be this season.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: I look at that brand of look for that brand of me is going to do everything he can to get a wide receiver in this in this wide receiver room.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, hopefully, hopefully, the draft.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's going to be more aggressive than we've ever seen.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: So like he said, F the outside noise, handle your business because you are under a microscope, like you are.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to be looking,
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: the trucks outside, if it's not done well.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_02]: And he understands it.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_02]: And I like my GM spicy.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go, Brandon.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: And just to comment on that, I agree with everything that you said.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: And it's about time that he gives a little pushback to the fanbase.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_00]: He has a right to pushback a little bit
- 35:30[SPEAKER_00]: For the same reason, I had a right to push back on the fanbase that said Josh Allen was trash.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: And Brandon Bean had the balls, that's why they call him the big baller.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: He had the balls, that was the most important position, the most important decision he made as a GM, and nobody in Buffalo with the exception of a few
- 36:00[SPEAKER_00]: And he basically, at that point in time said, okay y'all, to shut up and see what happens.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: And we also what happened.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, I like him spicy.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: Push back on the fan base because we can be obnoxious at times.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_02]: Let me ask you.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think he put a target on his back?
- 36:25[SPEAKER_00]: Do I think he put a target on his own back?
- 36:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I like it, you know, he's not afraid to make the wrong decision.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same philosophy of playing not to lose instead of playing.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's what we're doing some of these games robbing.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_02]: We're playing not to lose.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's the dicturon school of yes.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not, I've, I've never been, no, it just, it's counterintuitive to me that in a game that involves so much aggression, I know you know what I'm saying that you would have this holding everything back like prevent defense, I hate it.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, if I say prevent defense to me next year, I might just blow a socket, yes, prevent, you know, you guys are, you're, prevent, prevent, prevent, prevent, prevent it, prevent it, prevent it, prevent it, prevent it that, okay, okay, I'm sorry, Robin got her whole device though, she's still hurt, okay, I'll just fill in the tea a little just.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_00]: a little tidbit on Mac Collins.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: So, Mac Collins has been a fan favorite.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody loved Mac Collins and Buffalo.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: I love Mac Collins and Buffalo.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: And he was asked this week when they were on their tour for the Super Bowl about why he left Buffalo, it was his quote.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_00]: Parts of the organization, I don't think valued me anymore.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, what in a year and our wide receiver room could have really used some veteran experience that was good, we knew he could play, we knew he could catch the ball, all this money that we spent on Elijah Moore, all this kind of stuff, all these people that we brought
- 38:42[SPEAKER_00]: And we couldn't afford to pay Mac Hollands and keep it.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be troubled by that.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm troubled by that.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know who it was in the organization that he'd feels didn't value him.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: But Brandon, I'm going to hold you hair to the fire you better get us some receivers that can play the game.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: No more mess that why it receive a room.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, I, I've never been because I mean, you let someone go, you let them go.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: You can, you can never be like, whoa, you know, I don't care.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_02]: They're both going to the Super Bowl.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_02]: Go for them, you know what I'm saying?
- 39:24[SPEAKER_02]: And not even that, dates has been two years removed from us.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a thought about digs at all because digs was on Houston.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_02]: If anything, Houston's fans should feel some type of way not us.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't really care.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_02]: Mac Hollens is a different thing because Mac Hollens was just here last year.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: We all wanted Mac Hollens back.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_02]: I thought Mac Hollens, his position on his team was more firey, get those guys.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it is a player.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_02]: He bought us.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_02]: He did.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_02]: Josh Allen loved him.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: He was a reliable.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_02]: Why receiver for Josh.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_02]: And we didn't have that this year, you know, I'm saying the guy that came in that was 32 years old was the reliable guy for Josh and it was just crazy, but, you know, that was that was then that was here and are there, you know, whatever, but The record because this doesn't have anything to do with that, but I will say about Stefan digs that I think it's a parent that he was allowed to play in the Super Bowl.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: because the judicial system decided to let him not have to deal with anything until after the Super Bowl.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_00]: If that would have happened with anybody else, I doubt if they would have been given the same privilege.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I just think, I don't know.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_02]: All right, well I said, I know, digs.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's not even digs, it's just, it's NFL wants to do with the NFL wants to do.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: They pick and choose who they want
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: quote unquote in trouble and not in trouble.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's how I feel.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh yeah.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_02]: You can go back to the right rice.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: You can go back to the right rice.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_02]: And then you can go to the guy from the chiefs.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what was the difference between them?
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_02]: What was the difference?
- 41:18[SPEAKER_02]: Because they were both the rest of disputes.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_02]: And we can just, you know, it is what it is.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just kidding.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: It is.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_02]: It is what it is.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_02]: But let's get on to the selling cap because apparently they're giving them more money.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_02]: And it's been if you guys didn't and I know we should probably shouldn't talk about somebody else's network, but cover one does a great job when it comes to
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: the salary and all of that I want to say Greg Thompson did it yesterday.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't get a chance to look at it because when it comes to money in this big of a mouth.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea what that is.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_02]: My bank is not those numbers, but apparently it's three point what is it 300 and million dollars that the clubs will be getting.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_02]: a significant job from $275 million.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_02]: Woo, so what does that mean for the Buffalo bills?
- 42:24[SPEAKER_02]: Right now, I know they are over the cap, I know that.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_02]: So if they do want to make a move, they can't.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't touch the endalkins at all.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_02]: Like I wouldn't,
- 42:37[SPEAKER_02]: put no money, and he's done.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_02]: Let's just be done with that.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_02]: I will touch, of course, at Oliver Spencer Brown and Josh Allen.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I don't know about Deon.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Dawson Knox, because he wants to be here.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Dawson Knox will take another haircut cut.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to have two bills.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_02]: If he wants to be above the bills.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: For it is production, he's going to have two.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think he might be gone.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen better days, my guy.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he'll fit the scheme either.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't thank you to thank you, I just, I don't, again, and I don't want to be cruel and rude to players, I just,
- 43:33[SPEAKER_02]: his best friends are being able to.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, to thank you, Robin for saving me because I just think that it might you.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you got to go.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: Stays are behind him and they're going to have to draft a little differently.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and that again.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not sure how that's all going to work out, but I'm confident that they will be drafting a safety.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_00]: You have to.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: Cole Bishop and Leonard was a safety.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I would imagine that's right up his alley, just like the German was his safety.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: So they know what to look for in in terms of good safety.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll give you some.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: I was just going to say Sean McDermott, the first person that he signed was Jordan Poir.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: And then Michael Hyde, who was not appreciated in Green Bay.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm anxious to see what Leonard's going to do with the back end of the defense.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, to Ron Johnson.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know what?
- 44:37[SPEAKER_02]: So this is my own thing.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_02]: This is my, what I see.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: I've seen that Shaman Durman can develop players, of course, right?
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I know he sees something in players.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, that's the guy I want.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: And I know when it came to, and I'll just say, coal bishop to me, I thought when he came out, he was just going to hit the ground running.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: But of course, you need that experience from college to the NFL, and you got it within year two.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_02]: But for me, I think the shopping dormant always draft products or projects.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't want those anymore.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_02]: I want
- 45:18[SPEAKER_02]: you to get a guy that you see that can not hit the ground running, but you know, give him some time, some experience he's in there.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to this three years down the line.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like I think, um, land and Jackson was a product.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_02]: I project.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: It might be better in the scheme coming up right right and that's what we were saying thankfully because I just thought like oh my god What is going on John?
- 45:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm with you.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to figure it out.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_02]: But what is this?
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: What is that?
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: The question is even with some of the veteran free agents.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: Why is it that we have these guys come in like puna forward?
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: And he sat on the bench, the whole damn season that he played for us.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know why.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then he leaves.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: And he becomes like, you know, and is this going to be the same thing that we see with Larry Ogonjoby right right.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's because like hitting your head against the wall, like I'm trying to claim random being for bringing them in.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_00]: Or do you look at the coach because he's like, right, right.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_02]: I want this guy.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_02]: We all know, but we all know this Robin.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm gonna darn had a person.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: He had a guy.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: He had a guy.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: He had,
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: the what who he wanted that's the the body type hotly loved fast you know can can get off the blocks fast lean we knew that we knew his body type we knew it wasn't deon walker if we knew that because they didn't draft those guys they drafted a
- 47:08[SPEAKER_02]: Um, the Wayne Carter's, they drafted us, uh, TJ Sanders, they drafted on, uh, AJ Eponesa and tried to fit that mold into a charming garment.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_02]: So now, that's why I'm so excited about this defense, because I want to see now, what kind of body type are you guys on a develop, are bringing it?
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: What is this going to look like in this deep draft is going to be one of the most interesting drafts we've had in eons.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: Big, big, huge, important draft.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: And even Brandon we had said that, he's got to nail this draft.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_02]: He knows he has to nail it.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: Every year is like, how much pressure does he have on, you know, this draft this year?
- 47:55[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, it's big.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's big.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_02]: But before we get out of here, I want to talk to you about this.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so the international games came out.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_02]: And let me tell you,
- 48:08[SPEAKER_02]: Robin, nine, new cities.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: You have Spain.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_02]: You have France.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_02]: You have Australia.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_02]: What are we doing?
- 48:16[SPEAKER_02]: Australia?
- 48:17[SPEAKER_02]: What are we doing, Robin?
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we're growing the league.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we're doing.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_00]: Australia?
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's like two by weeks or something.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, how are they, how on earth are they going to go over there and play and then come back and play?
- 48:39[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, you've got the three London games you have Germany, um, Paris is coming Paris, um, again, Australian Brazil, I'd like what are we doing?
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: We're trying to grow this is all about the money.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: It is about the money, but all Australia, Robin.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_02]: These are big guys.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I know you probably got planes that could probably fit the big 300-something-bound eyes, but
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: Shh!
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: All right, it's our dangerous, too, for people that are that big if they don't get up and move around.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_00]: You know?
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I've...
- 49:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's all about the money.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they gotta figure this out.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, not that.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_02]: And then, for us watching the games, it's gonna be something else, too.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna have to watch it three in the morning.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: I gotta get up at three and watch the...
- 49:35[SPEAKER_00]: I just thought there's a Italy feel sorry for us.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, absolutely not.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_02]: But listen, you thought last year, um, getting up and watching these games and what we're going to do, I'm taking days off because we have a lot of night games.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_02]: This might be crazy.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully the bills don't go.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to have our team go to Australia.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want us to go.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_02]: What do we go London, right?
- 50:01[SPEAKER_02]: Every time we go to London, something to happen, don't want to go to London.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_02]: No, London, their turf is terrible.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_02]: They're all in, oh, and they've been there three times.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and three.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: They're all in three.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_00]: They haven't figured out the travels thing either.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_02]: No, and that was less, you know, who that was.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_02]: But any who, again, guys, so next week, we're going to be talking about some of the pressures that happen if some come out, and we're going to be talking about the players.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_02]: Google, we turn, who won't, who will fit this three
- 50:32[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we don't know.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_02]: We just figured it out.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_02]: Just like you guys, but we're soon.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_00]: After next week soon, we will have soon.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_00]: We will have Dean Kindig coming on our show to talk to us about the draft.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we will have him several times before the draft starts because he is a wealth of knowledge and he will help us.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_00]: understand who will be the best players for us to draft in this upcoming draft.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm pretty sure Dean is excited about this defense.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_02]: Go, man.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm pretty sure he is.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's, that's in the coming weeks and I can not wait.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: And then we might take a break.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: We've been discussing it behind the channels, but we're going to try to give you
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll keep you guys informed.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_02]: You will not know what's going on when it comes to tea time with Robin.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: But we're going to get out of here.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, we actually did 51 minutes.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, it's going to be a short pod.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_02]: Don't worry about it.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a short pod today.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure a pod today here, right?
- 51:37[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, but anyway, guys, thank you for always tuning in.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: We love seeing you guys here from you guys typing away.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_02]: We love it.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_02]: But we're going to get out of here.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_02]: This is tea time with Robin.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_02]: We are on a build and buffalo network.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_02]: See you next week, guys.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_02]: base.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: Go Bels.
