- Speaker 1: I look at Dr. Dre dude and just seeing him DJ house parties and clubs and going through all the drama he's going through and at the height of death row and leaving death row and people coming at him and and shook And then to see him be how he is. And then when he got all that money, and then he helped a lot of people in his family low key, like get houses and just stuff, and he don't talk, he don't he don't care. And then just to see him walk in a room, and everybody's like, ooh, that's Dr. Dre. And no, he was just a regular dude from Compton. It's just shout out to Dr. Dre. Like, what is his constitution to just manage that? Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Like what is his I've seen it. I've been it I've been right there in the back, like You know what I mean? I've seen and then his relationship with his stepbrother, Warren G, like behind the scenes is a whole nother conversation. But just to see and and I see other people like other people will say to me like Well how you and so and so get along. That's how he get along. You know what mean? Like, but then he's never gonna speak on it. And it just says something and going back to Ray J, how is Ray J gonna come out of this? Cause Dr. Dre's come out a lot and he's living his best life. He ain't gotta worry about money. One of his interviews he goes, I don't worry about none of my kids or nobody. I can just do me. I love hearing that for people. I love hearing that. So so think about Dre saying that and think about Ray J saying that and his ass is getting his ass. Speaker 2: Whoop. But you gotta look at talent though. Like but th that's that that's what I mean about talent. Like you said R. Kelly. Like R. Kelly had all this talent. Yeah. Doctor Dre has all of this talent. Yeah. Scarface has all Scarface has all of that talent. Speaker 1: Ray J got talent. He ain't got Dr. Drake. But Dre had Jimmy but he had you know what I mean? It was like Right. Speaker 2: W but different machines. Right. What talent does Drake have? Speaker 1: He's a good artist. He's a good artist. He can he can make good music. He can. He just chose to make these three albums. He still make good music. Speaker 2: But but talent wise Thank you for saying that. He chose to make these three albums. So I'm not the only one that gets all the hate. Speaker 1: He's a good actor so No, you can hate me about that, but like I said, I just I won't man, I won't love. I won't I won't I respect fifty, I respect the art of war, I mean I love the art of world and moving around and playing chess and when I see people go at different people and I'm like, You built for that? You built 'cause we've all seen each other like, okay, how was Caddy gonna handle this? Okay, let's okay, I'm gonna stand back, okay. How is Hattie Caddy gone? Like both of us, like I was like, okay. Okay, if he need me, I got him. But okay, how's he gonna do this? Okay, I ain't gonna say nothing. Yeah. That's what you do. That's what you do. You know what I mean? Like being on the savannah and whatever, like and Drake is gonna be fine. Cause I heard some article they said he don't wanna be recognized in the Grammys and this and this. Man, if he get recognized in the Grammys, cause he's again, he's still in his feelings. He's still Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaker 1: He still look, I've been in rooms with people back when they had the calls where they had the ⁓ the message machine tapes and people leave a message. I've had ⁓ people from labels go in and I'm talking, they was like, Man, why are you still working for so-and-so? And hit that tape, this tells you how a long go. And then there's somebody da-da-da-da-da. And I go, You know how much money I made with them? You know how much money I made with them? Speaker 2: Yeah Speaker 1: You know what I da da da da da da? Man, won't you come work for me? Shh. And I just do what I gotta do. You know what I mean? It's all a chess game. All. You know what I mean? Speaker 2: That's how it is. It's all Yeah, yeah. They somebody can come and pay us to talk good about Drake. I'll do it. I'll take it. Speaker 1: ⁓ objective look at you. Look at you look at you. They're gonna be like, They sold out, they sold out, they sold out. ⁓ yeah, dude. I mean all this is objective. If I can end this, I'm gonna end this. I keep saying I'm gonna end this, is that I love seeing people like Dre. I love seeing people go through adverse major things and come out of it and how they handle it. 'Cause this is a question I ask people in therapy all the time that I ask, what kind of man do you wanna be? At the end of the day, what kind of man are you gonna be? Yeah. What kind of woman at the end of the day, what kind of woman are you gonna be? Money is a vessel to get you get you things and be more comfortable. How are you gonna ⁓ Speaker 2: Yeah, what kind of person you are? Yeah. And get you places, yeah. Speaker 1: You don't when you lean over to that girl or that man in the middle of the night when you fifty something, sixty something, whatever, whatever, and you don't say, Damn, I can't stand this Speaker 2: Yeah.
