- 1:24Speaker 1: popcorn moment, Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 1:28Speaker 1: It's a story you need to here to believe. Then
- 1:31Speaker 1: grab your popcorn because there is more. Now we have
- 1:37Speaker 1: not gotten into President Trump saying to Spain, hey, you
- 1:42Speaker 1: don't want to work with us, We don't want to
- 1:44Speaker 1: work with you. Spain is an outrageously leftist enclave. This
- 1:50Speaker 1: is a country that recognizes the state of Palestine, which
- 1:55Speaker 1: doesn't exist. And they said that they will not allow
- 2:04Speaker 1: the US to use bases that are connected to them.
- 2:16Speaker 1: They've said, sorry, we're not going to allow this for
- 2:21Speaker 1: your action on Iran. Okay, so President Trump says Spain
- 2:27Speaker 1: has been terrible. In fact, I told Scott, which would
- 2:30Speaker 1: mean Treasury Secretary Scott bessn't to cut off all dealings
- 2:33Speaker 1: with Spain. Spain won't even pay the five percent regarding NATO,
- 2:41Speaker 1: and he followed it up with about using the basis.
- 2:43Speaker 1: He said, that's all right, we can use the base
- 2:45Speaker 1: we want. We can just fly in and use it.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Nobody's gonna tell us not to use it. But we
- 2:48Speaker 1: don't have to. But they were very unfriendly. Spain is
- 2:51Speaker 1: absolutely nothing that we need other than great people. They
- 2:54Speaker 1: have great people, but they don't have great leadership. So
- 2:56Speaker 1: we're going to cut off all trade with Spain. We
- 2:59Speaker 1: don't want anything to do with Spain. I'm very okay
- 3:03Speaker 1: with that. Now. The response, the reaction, I think a
- 3:07Speaker 1: rational one would be who whoa whoa, whoah woah. Are
- 3:10Speaker 1: we sure that by cutting off trade with Spain there
- 3:15Speaker 1: aren't things that we might need that are important, logistically important,
- 3:20Speaker 1: medically important, national security. We could be getting things from
- 3:24Speaker 1: them that we need to utilize. I think that's a
- 3:28Speaker 1: very legitimate question. You don't want to just say something
- 3:31Speaker 1: to say. You don't want to just fly off a handle.
- 3:34Speaker 1: You want to have a make sure you've got all
- 3:39Speaker 1: your ducks in a row before you make some kind
- 3:42Speaker 1: of move. Now, I have not found anything that we
- 3:49Speaker 1: get from the Spaniards. I can't say that my deep
- 3:52Speaker 1: dive has been that deep. But as a matter of concept,
- 3:58Speaker 1: best of luck to you Spain, best of luck to
- 4:01Speaker 1: you if you want, if you want to go down
- 4:06Speaker 1: this road. And by the way, the support of terrorism
- 4:09Speaker 1: in supporting the Palestinian state, well, I guess I'm not
- 4:13Speaker 1: getting to Barthlona anytime soon. And that trip for spring
- 4:17Speaker 1: break to Abifa, well, that's that's that's not happening. I mean,
- 4:23Speaker 1: that wasn't gonna happen anyway. What were you gonna do?
- 4:29Speaker 1: What were you gonna do? No, I would rather bring
- 4:31Speaker 1: you this. The Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, well
- 4:38Speaker 1: fulfilling his prophecy of being remarkably weak.
- 4:42Speaker 2: We support efforts to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear
- 4:46Speaker 2: weapon and to prevent its regime from further threat to
- 4:48Speaker 2: threatening international peace and security because Canada is taking the
- 4:54Speaker 2: world as it is passively waiting for a world we
- 4:59Speaker 2: wish to be. We do, however, take this position with
- 5:04Speaker 2: regret because the current conflict is another example of the
- 5:08Speaker 2: failure of the international order. Despite decades of UN Security
- 5:13Speaker 2: Council resolutions, the tireless work of the International Atomic Energy Agency,
- 5:18Speaker 2: and the succession of sanctions and diplomatic frameworks. Iran's nuclear
- 5:23Speaker 2: threat remains, and now the United States and Israel have
- 5:28Speaker 2: acted without engaging the United Nations or consulting allies, including Canada.
- 5:34Speaker 2: So where to from here? With a rapidly spreading conflict
- 5:38Speaker 2: and growing threats to civilian life, Canada reaffirms that international
- 5:44Speaker 2: law binds all belligerents. We condemned the strikes carried out
- 5:48Speaker 2: by Iran on civilians and civilian infrastructure across the Middle East,
- 5:53Speaker 2: and we implore all parties, including the United States and Israel,
- 5:56Speaker 2: to respect the rules of international engagement. Canada calls for
- 6:01Speaker 2: a rapid de escalation of hostilities and is prepared to
- 6:04Speaker 2: assist in achieving this goal.
- 6:07Speaker 1: How would you assist in achieving this goal? Are you
- 6:10Speaker 1: going to assist in achieving this goal? Like the UN
- 6:14Speaker 1: was able to achieve a non nuclear threatening Iran, a
- 6:19Speaker 1: non terror supporting Iran. Is this how you're going to
- 6:21Speaker 1: achieve this goal? The failure of the international order, Prime
- 6:25Speaker 1: Minister Carneie, is that there is no order without the
- 6:28Speaker 1: United States leading the way. This is your problem and
- 6:32Speaker 1: you did not have to be consulted in moves that
- 6:35Speaker 1: the United States made. They required, no notification of the
- 6:40Speaker 1: world written large. The international order has allowed terrorism to rain.
- 6:48Speaker 1: It doesn't work. That's the issue. You think Trump is
- 6:55Speaker 1: the threat to the international order. The international order is
- 6:58Speaker 1: the threat to a free and thriving world. It's time
- 7:02Speaker 1: to put an end to the UN. It's time to
- 7:05Speaker 1: put an end to this idea that somehow we have
- 7:07Speaker 1: to have build this coalition. We have to act when
- 7:12Speaker 1: it is in our best interest, and it is up
- 7:13Speaker 1: to Americans to decide when that is and debate these
- 7:17Speaker 1: things out and who gives a damn what the Canadians think,
- 7:23Speaker 1: which will lead us to a story about the Brits. Oh,
- 7:26Speaker 1: that's a story
