- 0:00Speaker 1: It's time for Stacks and Hacks. I have stacks of information.
- 0:03Speaker 1: And Rich has life hacks. Stacks and stacks. This is
- 0:05Speaker 1: information to take with you throughout the day. Kind of
- 0:07Speaker 1: like stupid news. Like the average American drops their first
- 0:11Speaker 1: curse word of the day at 1054 a.m.
- 0:14Speaker 2: That's kind of late.
- 0:15Speaker 1: It's often out of frustration or stress. In fact, the
- 0:17Speaker 1: average person experiences 1205 stressful events of the year.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I would think that would be in the morning when
- 0:25Speaker 3: you're getting ready.
- 0:26Speaker 2: You would get one of those out right away. Someone
- 0:28Speaker 2: cuts you off in the morning.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I think mine was at about 3.15 this morning when
- 0:31Speaker 3: I tripped over a rug in my bathroom.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Oh, sure. That's a worthy cuss. That's funny.
- 0:34Speaker 1: It says here, most people, a lot of people say
- 0:36Speaker 1: it's the second their alarm goes off. New poll asks people,
- 0:41Speaker 1: when do you think is the earliest acceptable time to
- 0:44Speaker 1: display Halloween decorations outside homes?
- 0:47Speaker 2: Kyle, you first. Kyle, for you first. October 1st.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Rich?
- 0:51Speaker 3: My neighbor's got pumpkins and stuff up already, and I'm
- 0:55Speaker 3: fine with it. It's the fall season. You want to
- 0:57Speaker 3: get more than a little bit like Christmas. I'd say
- 1:00Speaker 3: last week is September.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Peyton?
- 1:02Speaker 2: October 1st.
- 1:04Speaker 1: 42% of people say between October 1st and October 15th.
- 1:07Speaker 1: That's the most amount of people. Now, what's interesting is
- 1:09Speaker 1: millennials are the generation most likely want the decorations up early.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Kyle, the millennial. Is October 1st early? Then I fit.
- 1:19Speaker 2: People say middle of September.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I've seen a few. You guys ever heard of IMS? No.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Irritable Male Syndrome.
- 1:27Speaker 1: And it's when men get more irritable and less motivated
- 1:29Speaker 1: as they get older. It's linked to testosterone decline.
- 1:33Speaker 2: My dad has that.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I thought we were going to be able to say
- 1:38Speaker 1: we get that every day because we get irritated.
- 1:40Speaker 2: At you guys.
- 1:41Speaker 1: We do.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Totally different thing. Irritated by a male syndrome.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 2: That's different. IBMS.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Nowhere, yeah. I don't want to.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Take food news away from you, but there's some news
- 1:51Speaker 1: about protein maxers.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Protein Cheez-Its now exist.
- 1:56Speaker 1: They have seven grams of protein per serving.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:58Speaker 2: What's a serving?
- 1:59Speaker 1: Would that be like 10? I would guess a handful.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I don't know what a serving is. Do you know
- 2:03Speaker 1: it's against the law to present yourself as a member
- 2:06Speaker 1: of the clergy in Alabama? If you do, it's a
- 2:09Speaker 1: penalty of 500 bucks and a year in jail if
- 2:11Speaker 1: you pretend to be clergy.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Taking it serious down there.
- 2:15Speaker 3: What's a clergy?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Like a priest or a person of religious. Oh. You
- 2:20Speaker 2: can't impersonate people. What's been around longer, Netflix or Google?
- 2:23Speaker 3: Google.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Google. The Goog.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Netflix has been around longer than Google. Netflix was founded
- 2:28Speaker 1: in 1997. Google, 1998.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Oh, because you forget it was the mail thing.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I was all over that.
- 2:34Speaker 2: DVD mail thing. I was a big fan of that.
- 2:36Speaker 1: The average car spends 95% of its life parked.
- 2:42Speaker 2: This is just interesting facts.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Jeff Bezos, one of the richest men in the world,
- 2:46Speaker 1: he was adopted, but his biological father was a unicycle
- 2:51Speaker 1: rider with the Rooney Brothers Circus. He divorced Jeff's mother
- 2:54Speaker 1: when Jeff was one and gave up custody.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:57Speaker 3: You wouldn't think that'd be a career, right? You'd cycle
- 3:00Speaker 3: for the circus. I think his son did okay. This is,
- 3:04Speaker 3: it was National Chocolate Milk Day not that long ago.
- 3:07Speaker 3: And this is something I've been sitting on because I
- 3:08Speaker 3: thought it was very important, but I wouldn't screw with
- 3:09Speaker 3: chocolate milk.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I think chocolate milk is perfect the way it is.
- 3:12Speaker 1: But this is going viral about what people are adding
- 3:14Speaker 1: to chocolate milk to make it better. And I just
- 3:16Speaker 1: kind of disagree. I think certain things you just leave alone.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Like chocolate milk is perfect.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Like whipped cream or caramel? Whipped cream is number six.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Caramel, or is it caramel or caramel is number one.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I add something to my chocolate milk every single morning.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Like Dr. Pepper? No, it's a shot of espresso.
- 3:31Speaker 3: So I just make my homemade little mocha.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Coffee's number 10 on the list. Peanut butter, malt powder,
- 3:36Speaker 1: Oreo cookies, whipped cream, peppermint, canned cherry pie filling, vanilla extract,
- 3:40Speaker 1: and Nutella.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Cherry pie filling. If you're going there, you're just creating
- 3:44Speaker 3: a whole new thing.
- 3:45Speaker 1: What do you have for life hacks, Rich?
- 3:46Speaker 3: Okay, the can't find your car hack is important right now.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Giant parking lot. You're out of range of your key fob.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It happens to us all.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It is terrible.
- 3:56Speaker 3: And you just wander through the, for me, the airport
- 3:58Speaker 3: parking lot's the worst, where I never remember where I park.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Well, try this.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Science says– have you seen the hack on like if
- 4:05Speaker 3: you can't find it, hold your key up to your
- 4:07Speaker 3: chin and it makes the signal stronger? Well, John Jay,
- 4:11Speaker 3: for you, since you've got a big old water head
- 4:12Speaker 3: for you totally because the water in your brain actually
- 4:15Speaker 3: amplifies the signal of your car fob.
- 4:19Speaker 2: So it does work. It for sure works.
- 4:22Speaker 3: So it sounds ridiculous, but your head and your body
- 4:24Speaker 3: can actually help extend the fob's radio signal.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Sorry. giving you a little more range, like up to
- 4:30Speaker 2: five or 10 feet.
- 4:31Speaker 3: So, you know, if you're at a stadium, like come
- 4:33Speaker 3: out of Chris Brown and Usher, you need to find
- 4:35Speaker 3: your car.
- 4:36Speaker 2: That's the way you do it. Make it happen like that.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Try that life hack. It's up at johnjandrich.com.
