[SPEAKER_03]: Patrick of course most famous as Ham from Sandlot Danielle as Tupanga from Boymeets World and its sequel series Girlmeets World they've also they've worked together in the past fact Patrick guest art once on Boymeets World as a character named Kyle
• 2:16
[SPEAKER_03]: And then they were both together again in a national ampune movie called Dormdace.
• 2:22
[SPEAKER_03]: Now they start together and a show that Patrick has put together on YouTube called Dugout Dads.
• 2:29
[SPEAKER_03]: It follows an idealistic dad who volunteers to coaches kids, little league team, and discovers that the most unruly players aren't the 10-year-olds.
• 2:39
[SPEAKER_03]: but the other coaches, parents, and sometimes, himself.
• 2:42
[SPEAKER_03]: It is not a sequel series.
• 2:45
[SPEAKER_03]: It's its own thing, as Patrick and Daniel will say, they've got no interest in trying to recreate the Sandlot or boymates world.
• 2:52
[SPEAKER_03]: In fact, the long time friends are gonna turn about to talk about turning the insanity of little league parents into the new comedy series, bringing his Sandlot castmates back.
• 3:01
[SPEAKER_03]: They're all there, but as fictionalized versions of themselves in why Daniel sees the whole thing is rebooting a cast.
• 3:08
[SPEAKER_03]: instead of rebooting a classic.
• 3:10
[SPEAKER_03]: They're also going to get into Patrick's independently funding and building the series for YouTube.
• 3:16
[SPEAKER_03]: The plans to expand it into a full season with more of a curb your enthusiasm feel, and the cameos that are already lining up including Creed Bratton, Michael Pena, and potentially Seth Green, all that more as we talk dugout dads on YouTube.
• 3:30
[SPEAKER_03]: It's Kyle Meredith with Patrick Renna, and Danielle Fischel.
• 3:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, Patrick should be hopping on any minute.
• 3:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Cool, busy day for you all.
• 3:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a little bit, but all good stuff works excited about the show, obviously.
• 3:44
[SPEAKER_01]: So, happy to be talking about it as much as possible.
• 3:47
[SPEAKER_03]: Nothing like promoting something that, you know, you know, everybody's done it.
• 3:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
• 3:53
[SPEAKER_01]: But, but the truth is at least, at least we love this.
• 3:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
• 3:56
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's, yeah, right.
• 3:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 3:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes you have to promote stuff.
• 3:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: You're like,
• 4:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, don't want to talk about this, but this is, this is really fun.
• 4:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: We're exciting.
• 4:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Really when you get the show, if you're acting, Chums.
• 4:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
• 4:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Was I in the wrong thing?
• 4:07
[SPEAKER_02]: That was in the wrong thing.
• 4:09
[SPEAKER_01]: You're in the right thing now.
• 4:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in the right thing now.
• 4:12
  [SPEAKER_02]: I was there.
• 4:13
[SPEAKER_02]: It just wasn't for you.
• 4:14
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was for the next person.
• 4:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Which means they got that email that says Patrick is in the waiting.
• 4:19
[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, oh my god, I'm late.
• 4:22
[SPEAKER_02]: And if they were recording, it was a lot of this and like fix your hand.
• 4:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
• 4:26
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm, I just got out of the shower.
• 4:29
[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, you get the wet hair look.
• 4:30
  [SPEAKER_03]: You do that.
• 4:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they got all that.
• 4:35
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to give that to you, too.
• 4:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Someone in Riverside got that.
• 4:38
  [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
• 4:39
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I lose.
• 4:40
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I lose.
• 4:40
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 4:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, looking forward to dug out dads, uh, the moment I saw the trailer me and, you know, millions of other, uh, other people go like, oh, this looks fun.
• 4:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: This looks great.
• 4:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, and, and, and I'd love to know the journey to this Patrick like like how, when, when does the idea start happening and, and how do we get to where we are now?
• 5:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's a good question.
• 5:04
[SPEAKER_02]: I was coaching my kids little league and I had this idea when I, when he was in the championship game and they lost and all the parents were crying on each other's shoulders kicking over water coolers yelling at the umms.
• 5:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And I looked out on the field and the kids were playing tag five seconds later, like they couldn't care less.
• 5:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And while this has to be a show, I've been developing a few different things over the years, and I have a producing partner Kyle Howard, and we like the idea, but then I went and saw the other guys from the sandlot and an appearance, and I came back from that, and went, oh, it's dug out dads with
• 5:44
[SPEAKER_02]: the Samoc guy is now that's a fun show.
• 5:47
[SPEAKER_02]: So that was sort of what launched to them to actually happening.
• 5:50
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think it kind of made everyone say yes because of how much Sam wants meant to people.
• 5:57
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if that's what Danielle said.
• 5:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I'm still wondering what she said yes.
• 6:00
[SPEAKER_02]: But when she came on board to, I think, it just launched it to another level.
• 6:05
[SPEAKER_03]: So why did you say yes, Danielle?
• 6:08
  [SPEAKER_01]: I'll go now.
• 6:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: Let me go.
• 6:10
[SPEAKER_03]: So she can tell you honestly.
• 6:13
[SPEAKER_01]: I said yes for a couple of reasons.
• 6:14
[SPEAKER_01]: One, I'm a huge fan of the Sandlot.
• 6:16
[SPEAKER_01]: So the idea that I was going to be able to see these guys as adults playing different characters.
• 6:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I love the idea of rebooting a cast.
• 6:27
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's not a reboot of a project.
• 6:29
[SPEAKER_01]: It's getting a cast you know and love back together to do a brand new project.
• 6:34
[SPEAKER_01]: And like I love that idea.
• 6:36
[SPEAKER_01]: So I was excited to be on set with all of them and to see, you know, how insanely talented they are.
• 6:42
[SPEAKER_01]: uh, right up in close and personal.
• 6:44
[SPEAKER_01]: And then too, I said yes, because I have never had a bad experience with Patrick Ranna.
• 6:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Patrick Ranna has always been a stand-up dude.
• 6:54
[SPEAKER_01]: And uh, I think he's incredibly smart.
• 6:56
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I thought if he thinks this is a good project, it's a good project.
• 7:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was looking at all the crossover stuff because, you know, you're your character on boy meets world back in the day.
• 7:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I believe was also named Kyle, your partner's name Kyle.
• 7:11
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'm right here.
• 7:12
  [SPEAKER_03]: Was it?
• 7:13
  [SPEAKER_03]: Was it?
• 7:13
  [SPEAKER_02]: Kyle on the show?
• 7:15
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you were Kyle.
• 7:16
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 7:16
[SPEAKER_03]: So there's a whole Kyle thing happening at the moment.
• 7:19
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of Kyle in this, yeah.
• 7:22
[SPEAKER_03]: And then with, I thought, the more playful version of this is not to say, you know, as other people, plenty of people had of like, oh, it's not a continuation of the sandlot, but it's at the same universe.
• 7:32
[SPEAKER_03]: I thought, and it'd be more fun.
• 7:33
[SPEAKER_03]: It was the dorm days universe, honestly.
• 7:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: It sort of is.
• 7:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 7:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: I think, trust my P. Exactly.
• 7:42
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, if you're telling me that we look like we're still in college, I'll take it.
• 7:46
  [SPEAKER_02]: You take it.
• 7:46
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 7:46
  [SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
• 7:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, we're going to take a quick pause just to say that if you like what you're watching right now, please do hit that subscribe button so you can keep up with all the interviews at about every single week.
• 7:57
[SPEAKER_03]: It helps so much and we'll be right back right after this.
• 8:02
  [SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back.
• 8:03
[SPEAKER_03]: It's Kyle Meredith with Patrick Renner and Daniel Fischer.
• 8:06
[SPEAKER_03]: But it is an interesting concept because you are, you were doing the flip, you know, now we've got these adults, you know, what is it, what is it, youth sports is sort of one of the, um, I don't know the last socially acceptable places for, for parents to be, to completely lose their perspective.
• 8:23
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, and it seems like.
• 8:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Not with social media, it's not well.
• 8:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe not acceptable, but I guess expected.
• 8:30
  [SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
• 8:31
  [SPEAKER_03]: I think I've been a part of that a little bit.
• 8:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Like now that you've really dug into that.
• 8:36
  [SPEAKER_03]: Like why is that?
• 8:37
  [SPEAKER_03]: Like why?
• 8:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Why do we turn into something completely different?
• 8:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, at least what I tell myself and what I like to think is that it's all with a love of our children.
• 8:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's where it is mainly based out of.
• 8:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it's, you know, frustration with how far we all got in sports.
• 8:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I really don't see, you know, Freddy Friedman and Clayton Kershite yelling at their kids for not doing well because they're
• 9:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I like to think most of it's because we care.
• 9:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's what we grounded this show in two is there's no monsters for sure there's it's just you want your kid to have the best experience they can have growing up and so that best experiences at shortstop in the outfield picking
• 9:33
[SPEAKER_02]: What can play catch your once and for a little test is good right and literally it's catcher picture first short second everything else
• 9:42
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, right.
• 9:43
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, the best thing that my favorite thing about it was back then like he's 18 now In fact, today he's working on a film set as a PA.
• 9:50
[SPEAKER_03]: It is very first day working So it's a big day, but but the baseball Yeah, it is it's a big moment and Very proud, but it got me thinking like all of these moments and how much the sandlot meant and and he him out in the field and he back then he would because he was young and he would grow a mohawk every summer and and paying and being a catcher
• 10:11
[SPEAKER_03]: When you throw that hat off, you know, the helmet on everything and that's what you have.
• 10:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, he's a great kid, but I don't know, he's ever been cooler than that moment right there.
• 10:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
• 10:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: No, I think you're right.
• 10:23
[SPEAKER_01]: I think the most proud of Adler in sports I've ever been is when he was playing catcher, and he got a bad pitch and it bounced and it smashed into him, and he kind of doubled over, and I thought, oh, gosh.
• 10:40
[SPEAKER_01]: OK, well, that's going to be it.
• 10:42
[SPEAKER_01]: And he got up, and he was like,
• 10:44
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm okay, gonna do it again.
• 10:46
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, that's my boy, that's my boy.
• 10:50
[SPEAKER_03]: That's it, Patrick, you've written about this.
• 10:52
[SPEAKER_03]: You've talked about it like baseball is comfortable with failure.
• 10:57
[SPEAKER_03]: Like that's one of the great things about this sport.
• 11:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Does that come into play on any of this?
• 11:02
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's what the whole joke I used to say, people used to say like, you know, you only got to hit three out of every 10 to make it into the Hall of Fame.
• 11:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: that's true.
• 11:11
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's true.
• 11:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, and for out of 10, you're, you know, you're God, basically.
• 11:16
[SPEAKER_02]: So I, yeah, it's a good, do I dive into that, for sure.
• 11:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's definitely, you know, I think we, we made the show for YouTube.
• 11:27
[SPEAKER_02]: It's nine episodes that it's short form for now.
• 11:31
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's not vertical, so it's, you know, it's a regular viewing experience and probably best viewed on a TV and yeah, I'm not there yet.
• 11:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm too old for that.
• 11:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not kidding.
• 11:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's not fair.
• 11:45
  [SPEAKER_02]: No, no.
• 11:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you guys do you, Gen Z and Alfredo, you do you.
• 11:49
  [SPEAKER_02]: I love you.
• 11:51
[SPEAKER_02]: But so we didn't really dive in just certain aspects because there was only so much time.
• 12:00
[SPEAKER_02]: and we have developed a season one and more and we'll be doing that on a, you know, major streamer.
• 12:07
[SPEAKER_02]: And then in those, on those, during those series, we'll dive more into, I think, the kids and creating an actual probably future, say, I'm not generation, you know, a future nine that could, could go on.
• 12:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And there will definitely be, you know, the,
• 12:27
[SPEAKER_02]: the discussion, the failure and success and all those sort of things because that's what literally literally.
• 12:33
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what makes it so great is for five of the kids are amazing and then the rest there, you know, they leave something to be desired.
• 12:42
  [SPEAKER_03]: They're having a great time.
• 12:43
  [SPEAKER_03]: They're having a great time.
• 12:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: They're having a great time.
• 12:45
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's all I know.
• 12:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Daniel, I'd love to hear about your character and how you came into this, too.
• 12:50
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, obviously, you got the question.
• 12:51
  [SPEAKER_03]: We got that parts.
• 12:53
[SPEAKER_03]: But what can we expect from her throughout this season, and even to the point of what's your connection with the game?
• 13:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so as I mentioned, I've got two sons that both play baseball and I've grown up in a baseball family my whole life.
• 13:10
[SPEAKER_01]: I, my uncle was the College World Series MVP and then went on to play pro baseball and the minute Patrick called me.
• 13:22
[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't have a script yet or anything, but I said yes before I knew anything.
• 13:26
[SPEAKER_01]: All I knew is that I was going to be playing his wife.
• 13:28
[SPEAKER_01]: and that he was going to be a possibly slightly obsessed coach.
• 13:35
[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought, I know this world, I can do this.
• 13:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: I said yes immediately.
• 13:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think what you're going to see from Danielle, my character, is a loving, I roll of a lot of some of the things that maybe Patrick takes a little too seriously.
• 13:55
[SPEAKER_01]: But I also like to think that she is at the end of the day supportive and wants to see her kids in the best light and wants to see her husband in the best light.
• 14:05
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm also hoping she eventually gets maybe just as into it as Patrick does.
• 14:11
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sure there's definitely an episode.
• 14:15
  [SPEAKER_02]: Or a season.
• 14:17
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not giving notes right now.
• 14:18
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's a yeah.
• 14:19
  [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's there.
• 14:20
  [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's there.
• 14:22
[SPEAKER_03]: Is that in the contract?
• 14:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Call me by my name, the 20 days of thing, right?
• 14:27
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
• 14:27
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
• 14:30
[SPEAKER_01]: No one's allowed to look me in the eyes either.
• 14:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, wow, that's where you are.
• 14:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I'll do this, but- I'll see you it.
• 14:37
  [SPEAKER_01]: Don't even talk.
• 14:37
[SPEAKER_02]: That's why this is virtual.
• 14:39
[SPEAKER_02]: We can do this in terms of starring Kyle.
• 14:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, we're going to take a quick pause just to say that if you like what you're watching right now, please do hit that subscribe button so you can keep up with all the interviews at about every single week.
• 14:50
[SPEAKER_03]: It helps so much and we'll be right back right after this.
• 14:55
  [SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back.
• 15:00
[SPEAKER_03]: because that's the whole thing, it's then you said you're rebooting a cast, like that's that is, that's that's interesting.
• 15:09
[SPEAKER_03]: But at the same time Patrick writing this, I mean you're still writing something that that that audience are going to, what they're initially going to see ham and squints and yeah and smalls, right?
• 15:21
[SPEAKER_03]: Like how do you toggle with that's with the story that you're trying to tell?
• 15:26
[SPEAKER_03]: Like knowing that's just going to be their regardless.
• 15:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, there's definitely some fun Easter eggs, and we don't, I think we don't like shy away from that or trying to hide that by any means.
• 15:39
[SPEAKER_02]: It is an original story.
• 15:40
[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't, it isn't part of that sort of sam-like universe, but we have a little fun with it throughout.
• 15:46
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think one of the ways that we probably will do it is we kind of used our own names.
• 15:56
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's more about us and then we're kind of together as coaches and we sort of find each other again through this short and season, what we do in the future.
• 16:06
[SPEAKER_02]: We definitely have plans to maybe lean into it more and that we're definitely talking about that sort of thing.
• 16:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think people will be disappointed.
• 16:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I think you'll get sort of everything you want.
• 16:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Now we definitely play different characters, though.
• 16:21
[SPEAKER_02]: I would say Tom Geyrie, Smalls plays more in the ham.
• 16:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I would say I play more of the smalls.
• 16:27
[SPEAKER_02]: So we switch it up a little bit.
• 16:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, if you've seen him today, it looks nothing like you did back then.
• 16:32
[SPEAKER_02]: So we lean into that, you know.
• 16:34
[SPEAKER_02]: So there's definitely differences, and I think Victor and Shane who play, you know, they were timid and Tommy and Sam, they have a really fun little duo thing that they do, and so I think people enjoy it, but it's definitely different.
• 16:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 16:46
[SPEAKER_03]: It's almost like the way you're talking about it, like it's not a reality series.
• 16:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's like fictionalized reality.
• 16:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: Totally.
• 16:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, it's got a little curb your enthusiasm play, right?
• 16:56
  [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
• 16:56
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that is what we would probably lean into more as the season goes on.
• 17:03
[SPEAKER_02]: We'd lean into the Caribbean enthusiasm style.
• 17:05
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 17:06
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's fun.
• 17:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's cool.
• 17:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 17:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, what do we really like to kind of approach it, you know, and yeah, and you don't have to see I'm sorry.
• 17:12
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, no one's asking you to, but like that kind of just takes every bit of that out.
• 17:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and we really want to have a lot of fun cameos in the future seasons.
• 17:22
[SPEAKER_02]: This season, we have Creed Bratton from the office, so he's in this one.
• 17:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Penny did a cameo, man in Matthews, who's a huge on Instagram and hysterical did one of the episodes, Brandon Collin did one of the episodes, he's a gemsier, he probably wouldn't know.
• 17:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know.
• 17:41
[SPEAKER_02]: but the kids love them.
• 17:43
[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, we have some fun cameo throughout this short season and I think we would lean into that more.
• 17:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Danielle and I saw Seth Green at Comic and she knows I'm my sort of do he committed to season two.
• 17:53
[SPEAKER_02]: So, I'm holding his feet to the fire.
• 17:55
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 17:56
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the way you do.
• 17:57
[SPEAKER_03]: And I feel like that's what you do.
• 17:58
[SPEAKER_03]: You call in your favors.
• 17:59
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 18:00
  [SPEAKER_03]: And everybody.
• 18:00
[SPEAKER_03]: And our friends are safe.
• 18:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: No, you're no one.
• 18:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Ron, these still can.
• 18:06
[SPEAKER_03]: You bring it to the pod crew there, too.
• 18:09
[SPEAKER_01]: You know it, you know it, right, right?
• 18:11
[SPEAKER_01]: They're all, we're going to be roped in.
• 18:13
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's a summertime switch universe.
• 18:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Just like that, who's he up.
• 18:17
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's me and writer.
• 18:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
• 18:19
[SPEAKER_02]: If you think you found all the crossovers, you have not yet, there's one wheel and I did, but we never wanted to see the later day.
• 18:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: So hopefully it doesn't.
• 18:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Now that you've put it out there, now I don't think well, and I have a crossover, just by me, it's wrong.
• 18:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Just boy, me, it's worth speaking, that is a thing.
• 18:37
[SPEAKER_03]: So both of you all, you are, you're part of these, these things, right, these, these television shows, these films that that live on in the biggest ways, Daniel, you know, throw this to into you too.
• 18:49
[SPEAKER_03]: How do you harness that and still move forward as we're doing with something like Doug
• 18:57
[SPEAKER_01]: I think the greatest thing about being known for something that brings you nostalgia feeling is that it feels like a nice warm hug from a friend.
• 19:09
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I feel like with dugout dads especially, they're going to get that feeling while recognizing and accepting that it's a totally new project.
• 19:20
[SPEAKER_01]: So I look at it like such a blessing that people are going to be able to see us in new roles where they still feel like familiar people to you.
• 19:28
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think people are just going to walk away from the project thinking, like, man, that felt good.
• 19:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see more of that.
• 19:35
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see more of those people do more of this thing.
• 19:39
[SPEAKER_01]: I actually think you'll feel better watching us do something new.
• 19:43
[SPEAKER_01]: because like Patrick said to watch adults try to recreate something that was like lightning in a bottle.
• 19:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Would only make you feel like it's not as good.
• 19:54
[SPEAKER_01]: Even if it was great, even if it was spectacular, we would never be able to recreate.
• 20:01
[SPEAKER_01]: the sand lot or the boy meets world.
• 20:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Like we would just not be able to do that.
• 20:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: But no one can.
• 20:06
  [SPEAKER_01]: No one can.
• 20:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: No one can.
• 20:08
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a, you know, once in a generation type thing.
• 20:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, even look at like Hannibal Lecter, if you asked Anthony, it's a terrible example because, but it's still.
• 20:18
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's, I was just thinking about that as like imagine asking Anthony Hopkins to reprise that right now, you'd like, that's not the same.
• 20:24
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to feel the same, no.
• 20:26
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the feeling nostalgia brings to you is that hug, which I think you're still going to get, because we are still familiar faces that bring that inspire that feeling inside you.
• 20:37
[SPEAKER_03]: You both do that so well.
• 20:39
[SPEAKER_03]: With that in mind too, I'll wrap up and say that I can congratulations on the Padme Tour.
• 20:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Bacon it to Disney, plus now it's going to be a thing over there.
• 20:48
[SPEAKER_03]: And what you all have, how that started and has evolved into has been so fun to watch.
• 20:54
  [SPEAKER_01]: So much.
• 20:56
[SPEAKER_01]: We feel really, really blessed with the way it's all we could, you know, we, again, it's something we never could have done without all of the fans.
• 21:05
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I know the fans of Boy Meets World and Pod Meets World and the Sandlot are going to have the same effect on dugout dads, which we wouldn't be able to do any of this without all of that love.
• 21:18
[SPEAKER_01]: So we're just so appreciative
• 21:22
[SPEAKER_01]: our fans are because I will fight anyone to the death over it.
• 21:25
[SPEAKER_01]: They're the best fans in the world.
• 21:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Steve, did you see that right there?
• 21:28
[SPEAKER_02]: That was the little league mom coming out right there.
• 21:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Steve, I will fight you to the top.
• 21:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Steve, I will fight you to the top.
• 21:35
[SPEAKER_03]: Seriously, congrats to both of you, but you know, Patrick, especially, I mean, getting this across the finish line, you know, burping this thing and the mountain that you have to climb to put it, show together, I haven't seen it like most of the world yet and I cannot wait to dig into it.
