- 2:39Speaker 1: shout out to hip hopdx dot com, Ambrosia for Heads,
- 2:44Speaker 1: and the source magazine Twitter. Let's get right into the business.
- 2:54Speaker 1: So this is coming from hip hopdx dot com and
- 2:58Speaker 1: the title says Snoop and death Ro partner with company
- 3:02Speaker 1: that brought Dayla Soul's catalog to streaming. Now, well, let
- 3:09Speaker 1: me just finish before I start interpreting this stuff. Snoop
- 3:12Speaker 1: Dogg and deaf Ro Records have joined forces with Reservoir Media,
- 3:15Speaker 1: the same music company responsible for making Dayla Soul's catalog available.
- 3:20Speaker 2: On streaming platforms.
- 3:22Speaker 1: According to a press release on Wednesday, September twenty fourth,
- 3:26Speaker 1: the deal will include domestic publishers of all of Snoop's
- 3:31Speaker 1: past and future works and the entirety of death Ro's catalog,
- 3:37Speaker 1: which Snoop became the owner of in twenty twenty two,
- 3:41Speaker 1: among others. This includes classic Tupac hits including hal Mary,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I Ain't Mad at You and Picturing Me Roland And
- 3:51Speaker 1: this is what Snoop had to say, and I quote,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm so honored to have them as a partner and
- 3:56Speaker 1: excited for all the great things to come with the
- 3:59Speaker 1: catalog as well as new music ventures twenty twenty four
- 4:03Speaker 1: and beyond. So to you, what does that mean to me?
- 4:11Speaker 1: What does that mean? That means if you don't already
- 4:14Speaker 1: own this music in a digital space, but maybe you
- 4:18Speaker 1: subscribe to streaming platforms and you know the albums are there,
- 4:23Speaker 1: but maybe they're scattered or hard to track down, certain
- 4:26Speaker 1: albums versus others, and you know this this album is
- 4:30Speaker 1: by Snoop Doggie Dog but this one's by Snoop Dogg,
- 4:33Speaker 1: and this one is Snoop lying all will be gathered
- 4:38Speaker 1: together under one umbrella. And the perfect reference is day
- 4:44Speaker 1: La Soul's launch. It was literally called Daylight Soul Day
- 4:49Speaker 1: when it happened, all of day La Soul albums were available,
- 4:53Speaker 1: which weren't all available, weren't none of them honestly available
- 4:57Speaker 1: except for what I think are best stuff.
- 5:00Speaker 2: None of the albums were available on streaming.
- 5:02Speaker 1: So there was like this nice big rollout for Daylight
- 5:06Speaker 1: Soul's music that was pretty dope. You know, it put
- 5:10Speaker 1: all the focus on day I Soul named music. So
- 5:14Speaker 1: with this for death Row, which is which is pretty true,
- 5:19Speaker 1: it would almost be like you know, now in your
- 5:21Speaker 1: streaming service, if you like, yo, I just want to
- 5:25Speaker 1: go down to death Row rabbit hole of past albums
- 5:30Speaker 1: I missed all kinds of stuff. There'll probably be a
- 5:34Speaker 1: central location where you can go there and listen to
- 5:37Speaker 1: Doggie Style and the No Limit albums, which is which
- 5:41Speaker 1: would be where if that happens, because it's three of
- 5:44Speaker 1: them from Snoop. But I mean, I don't know all
- 5:47Speaker 1: his albums not going to include No Limit.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Maybe that'd be like the branch on the tree. But
- 5:54Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like, you'll go there and
- 5:57Speaker 1: you'll be able to see, Oh, it's Nate Dogs his Snoops,
- 6:01Speaker 1: two albums on Death Row and whatever later albums he
- 6:04Speaker 1: released under the imprint once he owned it. You know,
- 6:08Speaker 1: he's the chronic like just all of that. So it
- 6:11Speaker 1: should be dope just because of the fanfare that will
- 6:16Speaker 1: surround the release of all this music, nice and needy
- 6:21Speaker 1: and probably some new vinyl and all kinds of stuff.
- 6:25Speaker 2: It'll be dope to do that.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I don't get as excited because for those that have
- 6:30Speaker 1: been following me, probably since a strictly hip hop Dave
- 6:34Speaker 1: shout out to you, but mostly from the blog era,
- 6:38Speaker 1: where yes, I've been in a long time.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I had a blog.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I was in a blog era right until two dough
- 6:44Speaker 1: Boys just say hey, just post videos and now nobody
- 6:46Speaker 1: wants to read.
- 6:49Speaker 2: But back then I did an article.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I wrote a post about I wish I still had
- 6:54Speaker 1: some of the stuff so I could just share it,
- 6:56Speaker 1: but I really don't. I don't know where they would be.
- 6:59Speaker 1: But it was literally about me getting rid of my
- 7:05Speaker 1: CD collection because I had gotten to the point where
- 7:10Speaker 1: I was listening to a lot of my music on
- 7:13Speaker 1: you know, like iPods, and I had a Zoom Microsoft Zoom.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Back then, and I was just looking.
- 7:20Speaker 1: At my CDs and I was like, man, I don't
- 7:22Speaker 1: even play those like I used to. And I remember
- 7:24Speaker 1: putting the album in that I know, I didn't play
- 7:27Speaker 1: a lot and it was skipping and because you know,
- 7:30Speaker 1: you can't let CDs just sit. So I was just like, nah, man,
- 7:35Speaker 1: I'm about to lose a lot of music, you know,
- 7:37Speaker 1: a lot of stuff I paid for. So I just
- 7:40Speaker 1: went ahead and converted all my CDs to digital like
- 7:45Speaker 1: a digital library. I also did it with some of
- 7:47Speaker 1: my cassettes, like the joints I didn't have on CD,
- 7:51Speaker 1: and I just made my digital library. You know, it's
- 7:56Speaker 1: literally the legacy of the music I've purchased over time.
- 7:59Speaker 1: It ain't mostly the new joints that I brought through iTunes.
- 8:02Speaker 1: So a lot of like like if you go to
- 8:05Speaker 1: my iTunes and listen to my library of music, you
- 8:09Speaker 1: listen to something like the Low End Theory, It's not
- 8:12Speaker 1: the one that was released digitally. It's the one I
- 8:14Speaker 1: digitized from my original cassette that's back there, So you know,
- 8:18Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 8:20Speaker 2: It's stuff like that where I don't get excited.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Because I used to buy a lot of music and
- 8:26Speaker 1: I had a lot of brand loyalties to certain labels
- 8:29Speaker 1: and especially artists I liked a lot. But I'm not
- 8:35Speaker 1: as opposed to remasters and stuff like that depending on
- 8:39Speaker 1: the album. And maybe I'll do like a bonus episode
- 8:42Speaker 1: on that little particular topic sometimes.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Who else. Lloyd Banks is getting ready to release All
- 8:54Speaker 2: of Nothing, All or Nothing three, which is ad installment
- 9:03Speaker 2: of his mixtape series.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm personally a fan of the Halloween Havoc series of mixtapes,
- 9:14Speaker 1: probably number.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Either number two or number three.
- 9:21Speaker 1: One of them was like, Yo, this is an album,
- 9:24Speaker 1: but All or Nothing those joints was hot too.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And I'm gonna just say this, Lloyd Banks is.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Like he released a trilogy of albums since the Lockdown, right,
- 9:39Speaker 1: it was like, Yo, everybody, Lloyd Banks back outside and
- 9:42Speaker 1: he's been featured on people's albums and all of that.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But I always thought Lloyd Banks for some reason, was
- 9:49Speaker 1: just better when he did mixtapes. And I think it's
- 9:55Speaker 1: because the mixtapes are loose, So this is really he
- 9:59Speaker 1: not really trying to work with a concept or overall
- 10:02Speaker 1: concept or trying to really construct an album with.
- 10:06Speaker 2: A theme, so to speak. You know what I mean.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's kind of like, oh, it's mixtapes. It's just bars
- 10:12Speaker 1: and beats, and it's usually better. He sounds better half
- 10:17Speaker 1: the time. So All or Nothing, you know, I'm looking
- 10:19Speaker 1: forward to that joint. Let's see what it says.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Here.
- 10:22Speaker 1: On Instagram, he posted a teaser which I saw called
- 10:28Speaker 1: All or Nothing Volume three Despite my mistakes, and it
- 10:33Speaker 1: was it was seemed pretty dope. Now, the last time
- 10:38Speaker 1: he released Part two was in twenty sixteen. That was
- 10:43Speaker 1: a long time ago. So what I'll probably do myself
- 10:47Speaker 1: is go back and check it out. Now he's the
- 10:49Speaker 1: part that sucks, or it's trash or whatever way you
- 10:52Speaker 1: want to put that because you're homophobic and you want
- 10:55Speaker 1: to say pause. Didn't give a release date for this
- 11:02Speaker 1: third installment, but judging how music has been released in
- 11:09Speaker 1: recent years with rappers, it's probably really soon. It's probably
- 11:14Speaker 1: first week of October. If not, you know, coming up tomorrow.
- 11:17Speaker 1: If you're from the future, lady got it, shut up,
- 11:19Speaker 1: get out of it. But I think it's sooner than
- 11:24Speaker 1: we think. I just wonder about the timing because as
- 11:27Speaker 1: we enter the fourth quarter of you know, music releases,
- 11:34Speaker 1: which tend to calm down as we get closer to
- 11:38Speaker 1: the Christmas holiday. You might get one or two, but
- 11:42Speaker 1: October and November tend to be stacked with releases. And
- 11:48Speaker 1: there are some big ones that we know are on
- 11:51Speaker 1: the way, like Havoc and Method Man is definitely on
- 11:54Speaker 1: the way. They just filmed a video, right Benny the
- 11:57Speaker 1: Butcher in thirty eight Speci got a stabbed and shot too.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I know somebody who's never heard of him before, Like,
- 12:04Speaker 1: what is it called stabbed? This shot too?
- 12:06Speaker 2: God? Damn?
- 12:07Speaker 1: But you know what I mean, Like you have some
- 12:11Speaker 1: highly anticipated joints, Like you know, Ransom says he has
- 12:14Speaker 1: another project, which I believe is with Stove God with
- 12:19Speaker 1: Nicholas Craven on the beats. Westside Guns got to drop
- 12:22Speaker 1: his album. I get to feel in Conway gonna drop
- 12:25Speaker 1: another album. Snooping' Dre is supposed to be dropping pretty soon.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Nothing Man's on that album from last we heard Nazen
- 12:34Speaker 1: Premier were releasing this year Bars, but I don't know
- 12:37Speaker 1: if it's coming out, fam, I don't think so.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I don't know. So there's a lot of music like that's.
- 12:45Speaker 1: On the way, and then who knows what surprises are
- 12:48Speaker 1: gonna happen, right Like it is Kendrick dropping before the
- 12:54Speaker 1: super Bowl or he dropping near the super Bowl. I
- 12:58Speaker 1: would assume Kendrick Game dropping until next year, to be honest.
- 13:04Speaker 1: That's what Usher did when he was at the super
- 13:07Speaker 1: Bowl because there was a lot of hype around his name,
- 13:09Speaker 1: a lot of hype around him in Vegas, and then
- 13:12Speaker 1: he dropped the album, which I was a little bit
- 13:15Speaker 1: disappointed then because I was hyped. I was ready, like
- 13:18Speaker 1: finally he dropped an album and I was like, is
- 13:21Speaker 1: this cool? So in the hip hop realm, I think
- 13:27Speaker 1: for Lloyd Banks, whose profile has been lowered over the years,
- 13:32Speaker 1: way lower than the profile he had when g Union
- 13:35Speaker 1: was at the top, but hip hop fans and heads
- 13:41Speaker 1: checked for him, you know what I'm saying. So to
- 13:44Speaker 1: know that he got a new mixtape coming out, I'm
- 13:47Speaker 1: anxious to hear it. I think these two have collabed before,
- 13:53Speaker 1: but I would love to hear him on the record
- 13:55Speaker 1: again with Fabulous because they have a similar style and
- 14:00Speaker 1: I just know the bars would be crazy.
- 14:02Speaker 2: You know, put kiss on that too.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I know you're going to have probably some of the
- 14:06Speaker 1: usual suspects, but I'm looking forward to it, so maybe
- 14:10Speaker 1: I'll reviewed. I don't know, we'll see. And lastly, all right,
- 14:19Speaker 1: so and you can't be tired of stuff like not
- 14:25Speaker 1: Like Us. I already warned you on this show. Kendrick
- 14:28Speaker 1: Lamar is not like Us. You're going to be hearing
- 14:30Speaker 1: it all the way through to the super Bowl. You
- 14:32Speaker 1: probably hear it less now than you did during the summer.
- 14:35Speaker 1: But trust me, is not done yet. Homecoming is coming
- 14:39Speaker 1: up soon, Homecoming season. The band's probably already been playing
- 14:44Speaker 1: it at It's not done yet. We're not done yet.
- 14:48Speaker 1: But what what I've tried to avoid on this podcast
- 14:58Speaker 1: is to spend the rest of the year talking about
- 15:00Speaker 1: Drake versus Kendrick. When Not Like Us dropped that Saturday
- 15:06Speaker 1: where we were all online tweeting like crazy, going to Twitter,
- 15:10Speaker 1: going to Instagram.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I was on the phone. Only on the phone was
- 15:13Speaker 2: sister Like. It was a fabulous time to be alive.
- 15:18Speaker 1: And not just because I picked Kendrick to win being
- 15:21Speaker 1: a big Kendrick fan, but I'm also a Drake fan,
- 15:24Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like I want him to
- 15:25Speaker 1: get back to the grooves. And it was taking him
- 15:28Speaker 1: a while to get over publicly, get over you know,
- 15:34Speaker 1: the loss. He been quiet lately, but does that have
- 15:37Speaker 1: something to do with this ditty stuff because a couple
- 15:40Speaker 1: of people been quiet and been missing. But I've tried
- 15:46Speaker 1: to avoid constantly talking about any little breadcrumb from this battle,
- 15:53Speaker 1: mainly because if you go back on this channel or
- 15:57Speaker 1: on the podcast stream. We wore it out and we
- 16:01Speaker 1: did a final episode shout out to Tone into the
- 16:04Speaker 1: Dum podcast where we just talked about, you know, this
- 16:08Speaker 1: moment in hip hop, like it was a moment in
- 16:10Speaker 1: hip hop, and.
- 16:13Speaker 2: There were some lingering.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Threads from this battle or questions right like, you know,
- 16:22Speaker 1: will can you release any more of the diss records?
- 16:25Speaker 1: You know, will there be some hints on the albums?
- 16:28Speaker 1: What will Drake do next? You know, he keeps dropping joints,
- 16:31Speaker 1: and you know, they kind of get forgotten about it,
- 16:34Speaker 1: not really hitting the way they used to hit.
- 16:38Speaker 2: And probably most.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Importantly or most intriguing for me at least, it's Jacob.
- 16:47Speaker 1: We know, he released a mixtape that was pretty dope
- 16:50Speaker 1: that honestly I'll include in my not top five, but
- 16:55Speaker 1: my best of the year. Depending on whether he drops
- 16:59Speaker 1: the album which may come out this year. He has
- 17:02Speaker 1: an album that that mixtape was kind of like The
- 17:06Speaker 1: warm Up four.
- 17:07Speaker 2: The name of the album is called The fall Off.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Ironically, and two things happened this week that could spell
- 17:16Speaker 1: the beginnings of a J Cole comeback.
- 17:20Speaker 2: And I'll just say what people are thinking about it.
- 17:23Speaker 1: So one of the things that happened was an interview
- 17:27Speaker 1: with The Traded Truth, who said that J Cole's album
- 17:34Speaker 1: The fall Off will shock people. And he said, it's
- 17:39Speaker 1: on its way right, let's see if we can find
- 17:43Speaker 1: He was on the Breakfast Club and he said, don't
- 17:46Speaker 1: get it fed up. His album coming. And when the
- 17:50Speaker 1: album coming, it's probably going to shock a lot of people.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Remember what I tell you all the time. Remember what
- 17:58Speaker 1: I tell you all the time. A lot of people
- 17:59Speaker 1: form opinions on a lot of things and they don't
- 18:02Speaker 1: fully know the situation. He'll be I right, it's before
- 18:06Speaker 1: it's too late. You never know what bro may do.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Now the young kids will say that's cap And when
- 18:18Speaker 1: they say that, they're just like you, just trying to
- 18:21Speaker 1: make sure the homie, you know, people are still interested
- 18:25Speaker 1: and don't sleep on him. And it's going to be
- 18:27Speaker 1: dope and You're gonna stop talking so much trash about
- 18:31Speaker 1: j Cole now for those who've been under a rock
- 18:34Speaker 1: for the majority of the year, and like, well, why
- 18:36Speaker 1: would you talk trash.
- 18:37Speaker 2: About dra Cole? What do you do well?
- 18:39Speaker 1: During the Kendrick Lamar Well, at the very beginning of
- 18:42Speaker 1: the Kendrick Lamar and Drake Battle, which also included j Cole,
- 18:47Speaker 1: j Cole was the first to respond to Kendreds like
- 18:52Speaker 1: that verse, which appeared on the Metro Booming and Future
- 18:57Speaker 1: album We Don't Trust You, right, even though the title
- 19:01Speaker 1: track till we Still Don't Trust You that's my that's
- 19:03Speaker 1: my DRG.
- 19:04Speaker 2: I love playing it.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I don't even have no ops like that, but I'm like,
- 19:07Speaker 1: we still don't trust You, all right, But he put
- 19:13Speaker 1: it on this mixtape might delete later as the last song,
- 19:17Speaker 1: and like I said, this mixtape might delete later. It
- 19:20Speaker 1: was dope, some superior rapid. But why people are feeling
- 19:26Speaker 1: a kind of way about Jacob is has to.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Do with the fact that he quit the battle before
- 19:31Speaker 2: it could begin.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Because the disrecord he put on there, which he since
- 19:36Speaker 1: has taken off the mixtape called Seven Minute Drill.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Most people thought it was really.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Lacklesster and had some cap stuff in there, like, you know,
- 19:47Speaker 1: like really like trying to say, mister Moround, the Big
- 19:50Speaker 1: Steppers wasn't a good album, and everybody.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Was like, what where were you? You know what I'm saying.
- 19:56Speaker 1: So he left, you know, something in his spirit said
- 20:00Speaker 1: I can't do this to my hommiet.
- 20:04Speaker 2: And then he left. I kind of laughed because I
- 20:09Speaker 2: was like, what part of battle rapping is this?
- 20:13Speaker 1: Ain't nobody fighting? Nobody's fighting? Why you're running while you running?
- 20:19Speaker 2: Man? But I got it. He just didn't want to
- 20:25Speaker 2: get rouled up in the hole back and forth.
- 20:28Speaker 1: And I understand mainly because that's his homie, mainly because
- 20:32Speaker 1: that's just not where he is as an artist. He
- 20:34Speaker 1: don't really want a battle rap. But you in hip hop,
- 20:39Speaker 1: you can't be calling yourself to goat the best and
- 20:42Speaker 1: book and you backing it up with the bars. But
- 20:44Speaker 1: then when you get challenged by one of the top
- 20:49Speaker 1: dudes in the game, you battling it. And mainly I'm honestly,
- 20:57Speaker 1: you know, I'm thinking it had more to do with
- 20:59Speaker 1: people's saying, hey, look, the beef's not even with you,
- 21:02Speaker 1: you know, so I'm sorry you put that whack joint out,
- 21:04Speaker 1: but just get out the way. Let's get it. Let
- 21:07Speaker 1: us get at Aubrey, move out the way. We don't
- 21:10Speaker 1: want we don't want smoke with you. We want him, right,
- 21:13Speaker 1: I think, honestly that's what it was. And to be
- 21:16Speaker 1: dope if he say that, because then Drake would be
- 21:20Speaker 1: like you backstabbing, like you know what I'm saying. But
- 21:26Speaker 1: so that's the whole thing, right, And I had my
- 21:29Speaker 1: own theories and so did the internet about the fall off.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Is this all on purpose that him and Kendrick conspire,
- 21:39Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Did J Cole call Kendrick when he got the call, like, Yo,
- 21:42Speaker 1: this dude want me to bring come out on stage
- 21:45Speaker 1: with him and stuff like that? But I know he
- 21:46Speaker 1: got beef with you. But let's let's box a men
- 21:50Speaker 1: on like the old head sis. Let's put him in
- 21:52Speaker 1: a trick bag. I don't know what that means, but
- 21:54Speaker 1: that's what the box of men meant back in I
- 21:57Speaker 1: guess the.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Twenties or whatever. But listen, and people didn't like that.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I kind of didn't like it.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Certain a lot of people really didn't like it because
- 22:09Speaker 1: you can't really consider yourself a competitive top m seed
- 22:14Speaker 1: in your words and then back out of a battle,
- 22:21Speaker 1: and some people felt like, oh, well, you know, J
- 22:24Speaker 1: Cole was the smart one to get out the way,
- 22:26Speaker 1: so he does it. But he kind of caught his
- 22:28Speaker 1: own black from fans, and every time he would pop up,
- 22:33Speaker 1: people would just remind everybody, oh, yo, he ran from
- 22:36Speaker 1: the battle. He ran from the battle. Me whatever. Man,
- 22:39Speaker 1: just don't say goat. Okay, you're not the goat, not
- 22:42Speaker 1: if you duck in battles.
- 22:44Speaker 2: You're not.
- 22:45Speaker 1: You're not even close. But he's still dope and that's evident.
- 22:50Speaker 1: And the song released by a battle rapper Daylight featuring
- 22:55Speaker 1: J Cole called a Plate of Collagreens. And when I
- 23:00Speaker 1: tell you, what J Cole is doing on this song
- 23:04Speaker 1: is supreme bar work. Supreme bar work. It's honestly the
- 23:11Speaker 1: thing I said a couple of episodes back he should
- 23:15Speaker 1: do stop because you know what, honestly, it's tired for
- 23:20Speaker 1: a lot of people to keep calling themselves the goat
- 23:22Speaker 1: and the best. At some point you just got to
- 23:25Speaker 1: show people. And I think that's what Kendrick did in
- 23:28Speaker 1: the battle, right. He just showed people like, I'm not
- 23:31Speaker 1: just gonna keep saying I'm the best.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I'm the game.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm the best, the best, Sure it's going to be
- 23:34Speaker 1: in there, but I'm just gonna show you why through
- 23:38Speaker 1: my output. And that's how I feel like j Cole
- 23:41Speaker 1: can win back some of those fans like yo, all right,
- 23:46Speaker 1: the top threes, the goats, the top fives that are lives.
- 23:50Speaker 1: We're not even talking that language no more. I'm just
- 23:53Speaker 1: going to show you what I do and if you
- 23:57Speaker 1: and you won't be able to call it whack, you
- 23:59Speaker 1: can and keep talking about the battle and how much
- 24:03Speaker 1: you feel like I ducted all you want, but at
- 24:05Speaker 1: the end of the.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Day, you're not gonna call me why.
- 24:10Speaker 1: And I think this is the first step into him
- 24:16Speaker 1: coming back, releasing this album right. Trader Trup says something,
- 24:20Speaker 1: do we have to listen to Trade of Truth? Hell no,
- 24:22Speaker 1: we don't it Some people like who is that we
- 24:24Speaker 1: don't have to listen to him. It's like when a
- 24:27Speaker 1: producer or film exec says, this could potentially be the
- 24:32Speaker 1: greatest film of the year, Well, of course it could.
- 24:34Speaker 2: You work for them.
- 24:37Speaker 1: So if you cool with him and you think it's dope,
- 24:42Speaker 1: you can come outside and tell us yo, y'all watch
- 24:44Speaker 1: yo way till y'all way to ya head is but
- 24:48Speaker 1: we still all we still see is y'all in my spirit,
- 24:53Speaker 1: I ain't want to battle no more, man, I ain't
- 24:56Speaker 1: want it.
- 24:58Speaker 2: So to me.
- 25:00Speaker 1: And I know some people feel like, oh, leave them alone,
- 25:02Speaker 1: stole them out, de bot. No, this is the way
- 25:06Speaker 1: you do it. If people are questioning your pin game
- 25:10Speaker 1: because they feel like you quit a battle even though
- 25:13Speaker 1: they know you were nice prior to that, just remind them.
- 25:20Speaker 2: This is what I do. I'm gonna casually do it.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Then I'm gonna get on my bike with my socks
- 25:24Speaker 1: over my jeans and I'm out. I know y'all seen that.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna be in the random beach shoes on and
- 25:33Speaker 1: sand whatever. I need some inspiration and rake these bars
- 25:37Speaker 1: and all jokes aside, like it's tough. The only thing
- 25:42Speaker 1: that was questionable because I heard j Coles verse verse
- 25:49Speaker 1: before I heard Daylights, and I don't know if it
- 25:54Speaker 1: was a choice for them to approach the lyrics in
- 25:56Speaker 1: the same way. But I've watched a lot of battles
- 26:00Speaker 1: rap and I know Daylight. I know it's flow and
- 26:05Speaker 1: Ja Cole flow sounds a lot like Daylights, and I'm
- 26:10Speaker 1: just hoping that's like a a choice, not a like, man,
- 26:16Speaker 1: I'm down in adults need some boss Battle rapper helped
- 26:22Speaker 1: me out you writing all the time. I doubt it
- 26:25Speaker 1: because that would be even worse, Like come on, man,
- 26:27Speaker 1: I like this dude, J Cole, I don't. I don't
- 26:30Speaker 1: want to see that happen, because there's some people who
- 26:33Speaker 1: will throw him away forever if they knew his comeback
- 26:37Speaker 1: bars came from someone else. He didn't write himself, so
- 26:41Speaker 1: I don't believe that. I think his verse on this
- 26:43Speaker 1: song gets crazy. I don't know if I take trade
- 26:48Speaker 1: of truth word for it, because I just want to
- 26:51Speaker 1: hear from myself. So when the album The Fall Off drops,
- 26:56Speaker 1: I'll be there listen to it. I'll be here to review,
- 27:00Speaker 1: view it, and then we'll see what's up. We'll say
- 27:03Speaker 1: what we got to say about J Cole. But it
- 27:04Speaker 1: took me a minute to listen to J Cole again
- 27:09Speaker 1: just because of I was just being disappointed as a
- 27:12Speaker 1: fan that he ducked the Battle so quickly, and probably
- 27:17Speaker 1: more so that he put out a lackluster to diss record.
- 27:20Speaker 1: But maybe that's just not what he does. So leave
- 27:24Speaker 1: the Goat Talk and the Top fives alone. The conversation
- 27:28Speaker 1: itself is tired. Show in your output, and then will
- 27:33Speaker 1: judge us, the fans, the hip hop heads, will judge
- 27:38Speaker 1: who we think is the best, like we've always done it.
- 27:42Speaker 2: That's gonna do it for me.
- 27:43Speaker 1: What do you think about j Cole's new verse on
- 27:46Speaker 1: his Daylight record? Leave your comments in a comments section below.

- 28:01Speaker 1: death Row Records music. Leave your comments in the comments section.
