- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello everybody, sure how did hand here? Welcome back once
- 0:04Speaker 1: again for a look at some of the strangest news
- 0:06Speaker 1: stories that I could find. So we'll jump right in
- 0:10Speaker 1: today with this one. Potential breakthrough was scientists climbed two
- 0:14Speaker 1: people communicated in their dreams in world first. Scientists have
- 0:19Speaker 1: brought science fiction one step closer to reality by achieving
- 0:22Speaker 1: the first two-way communication between individuals during lucid dreaming. Now
- 0:28Speaker 1: this comes from a company called Remspace, a California-based startup
- 0:31Speaker 1: that designs technology to enhance sleep and lucid dreaming. Apparently
- 0:36Speaker 1: they use specially designed equipment, which included a server, an apparatus,
- 0:41Speaker 1: Wi-Fi and sensors, but they did not specify exactly what
- 0:45Speaker 1: technology they used. The study participants were asleep in separate
- 0:49Speaker 1: homes when Remspace researchers beamed a word created through a
- 0:53Speaker 1: unique language between them. Remspace CEO and founder Michael Raduger
- 0:58Speaker 1: said yesterday communicating in dreams seemed like science fiction. Tomorrow
- 1:03Speaker 1: would be so common we won't be able to imagine
- 1:06Speaker 1: our lives without this technology. To open a door to
- 1:10Speaker 1: countless commercial applications, reshaping how we think about communication and
- 1:14Speaker 1: interaction in a dream, they're going to put adverts in
- 1:17Speaker 1: our dreams aren't they? Yeah, I can see where this
- 1:20Speaker 1: is going. The technology has yet to be reviewed all
- 1:24Speaker 1: replicated by scientists. Yeah, apparently they were asleep in their
- 1:29Speaker 1: own homes, they were hooked up to some device. Once
- 1:33Speaker 1: the server detected that one of them was in a
- 1:35Speaker 1: lucid dream, it generated a random word and transmitted it
- 1:38Speaker 1: to him via earbuds. The participant would then repeat the
- 1:42Speaker 1: word in his dream and that response was captured and
- 1:45Speaker 1: stored in the server. Eight minutes later, the second participant
- 1:49Speaker 1: entered a lucid dream. The server transmitted the stored message
- 1:53Speaker 1: from the first participant to her, which she repeated upon awakening. Okay,
- 1:58Speaker 1: so this is the CEO of the company here and
- 2:01Speaker 1: this doesn't seem related to this experiment directly, but apparently
- 2:04Speaker 1: he implanted an electrode into his brain to control his dreams.
- 2:08Speaker 1: There is in 2023 he put his life on the
- 2:11Speaker 1: line when he attempted to implant a microchip in his
- 2:14Speaker 1: own brain to control his dreams. Crissom footage of the
- 2:18Speaker 1: procedure shows him holding skin back with paper clips whilst
- 2:21Speaker 1: bulldozing the back of his skull using a drill he
- 2:23Speaker 1: found at a hardware store. Alright, he inserted the chip
- 2:27Speaker 1: into his brain after watching hours of neurosurgery, the internet
- 2:31Speaker 1: recordings and practicing on five sheep. He told no one
- 2:35Speaker 1: of his plant, this is a true mud scientist right here,
- 2:38Speaker 1: look at this guy. What the hell's going on? Well,
- 2:43Speaker 1: that cleared everything up, didn't it? Okay, I'm glad I
- 2:47Speaker 1: watched that. Father of woman who vanished in 1986 uses
- 2:52Speaker 1: psychic to track down body, but there's a heartbreaking twist.
- 2:56Speaker 1: A mean father has been searching for his daughter since
- 2:59Speaker 1: 1986 and was left heartbroken after a psychic helped him
- 3:02Speaker 1: to one earth human remains, but the body parts belong
- 3:05Speaker 1: to someone else. Richard Dick Morrow discovered the remains on
- 3:09Speaker 1: Saturday in Jay, roughly 70 miles outside of Portland, behind
- 3:14Speaker 1: a bowling alley. The psychic had a very strong feeling
- 3:18Speaker 1: that there was something up there, he told VMWR, but
- 3:21Speaker 1: she wasn't sure what it was. Then in about 10 minutes,
- 3:25Speaker 1: she turned around and came back and said, Dick, you've
- 3:28Speaker 1: got to get up here now. He was hoping to
- 3:31Speaker 1: find a body of a 17-year-old daughter Kim Morrow, who
- 3:34Speaker 1: had been missing since May 1986. She left the home
- 3:39Speaker 1: on Jewel Street and was only supposed to be gone
- 3:41Speaker 1: an hour, but she never returned. The bones found over
- 3:45Speaker 1: the weekend were a mere block over and up the
- 3:47Speaker 1: hill from the family's home. There's Kim Morrow. The Maine
- 3:52Speaker 1: State Police dug up the bones and took them to
- 3:54Speaker 1: the chief medical examiner's office for identification, where they learned
- 3:58Speaker 1: skeleton belonged to a male. It's a disappointment in some
- 4:02Speaker 1: ways to Father Set, but we've got to remember and
- 4:05Speaker 1: look at it from our point of view. We're one
- 4:08Speaker 1: of the families who has a missing loved one. We
- 4:11Speaker 1: will have a family that's going to have closure now.
- 4:14Speaker 1: So it isn't us, but one of these times it's
- 4:17Speaker 1: got to be. That's quite a positive way to look
- 4:20Speaker 1: at it, I suppose. At around the same time that
- 4:24Speaker 1: Kim went missing, Harold Simpson, a 28-year-old man, also disappeared.
- 4:30Speaker 1: The bones found on Saturday have not yet been identified.
- 4:34Speaker 1: This point has been 38 years and we haven't found
- 4:37Speaker 1: it yet, but we will. We will never quit. Sad
- 4:41Speaker 1: that this man hasn't found his daughter yet. but interesting
- 4:44Speaker 1: that the psychic felt that there was a body in
- 4:46Speaker 1: a particular area and that they found a body there,
- 4:49Speaker 1: even though it didn't turn out to be his daughter.
- 4:52Speaker 1: It's interesting, I suppose. Okay, this one's weird. Bizarre pet
- 4:58Speaker 1: cloud reappears above its favorite spot in New Zealand. A
- 5:02Speaker 1: recent satellite image captured the re-emergence of a unique UFO-like
- 5:06Speaker 1: cloud known as the Tiree Pet, which appeared just above
- 5:09Speaker 1: New Zealand's South Island, where conditions are just right. And
- 5:14Speaker 1: there it is. This definitely looks like something unnatural. This
- 5:19Speaker 1: reminds me of an illustration in one of my favorite
- 5:22Speaker 1: books when I was a kid. I've still got my
- 5:25Speaker 1: copy from when I was a child. It's called Monstrosities
- 5:29Speaker 1: by Charles Fudge. Fudge, I don't know how you say it,
- 5:33Speaker 1: but it's basically just a collection of creepy poems written
- 5:36Speaker 1: by various people, but what really makes this book is
- 5:39Speaker 1: the incredibly disturbing illustrations. I don't know if this book
- 5:43Speaker 1: is still in print. If it's not, it's a damn
- 5:47Speaker 1: shame because yeah, the illustrations are well worth purchase. There's
- 5:51Speaker 1: a poem in here called Alone and the illustration. I'll
- 5:55Speaker 1: show the picture, look at this. It reminds me of
- 5:59Speaker 1: that thing. And this one with a tree man looking
- 6:02Speaker 1: for the window always gives me the creeps. Still does now,
- 6:07Speaker 1: to be honest. Imagine waking up in the night and
- 6:10Speaker 1: that thing's looking through at you. The freaky formation often
- 6:14Speaker 1: appears in the same spot thanks to a nearby mountain range,
- 6:18Speaker 1: and is also sometimes confused with a UFO. Although it
- 6:22Speaker 1: can vary in size, the clouds always look very similar
- 6:25Speaker 1: and appear in almost the same spot. This picture was
- 6:29Speaker 1: taken in 1951, so it's been around for a long time.
- 6:34Speaker 1: That thing's definitely got a face, isn't it? Yeah, that's
- 6:38Speaker 1: definitely the demon from my book. Extreme eater 24 dies
- 6:42Speaker 1: during a live stream of 10-hour food binge after a
- 6:45Speaker 1: stomach is ripped open. Han Xiaoting died whilst live streaming
- 6:50Speaker 1: at 10-hour eating binge. She died after gorging on cake,
- 6:55Speaker 1: chicken fingers, and seafood in front of thousands of her followers.
- 6:59Speaker 1: The woman from China died from a suspected stomach tear
- 7:02Speaker 1: whilst eating up to 10 kilograms of food. According to reports,
- 7:07Speaker 1: her autopsy revealed her stomach had been severely deformed and
- 7:10Speaker 1: was filled with undigested food at the time of her death.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Her stomach is believed to have burst. So she began
- 7:18Speaker 1: her 10-hour eating live stream on July 14 where she collapsed.
- 7:23Speaker 1: She would eat alone in front of a camera and
- 7:25Speaker 1: managed to garner a massive fan following. Xiao Ting was
- 7:29Speaker 1: hospitalized due to gastrointestinal bleeding after she took up the challenge. However,
- 7:35Speaker 1: she started a new round of binge eating that day
- 7:37Speaker 1: after she was discharged. She died on July 14th. Alright,
- 7:43Speaker 1: so I mean, this should have been a warning sign,
- 7:46Speaker 1: shouldn't it? You're eating so much you end up in hospital.
- 7:51Speaker 1: And then the next day you just start up again. Alright,
- 7:55Speaker 1: there she is. There she is, she's eating away. Yeah,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I've never really got the whole mukbang thing, but I
- 8:03Speaker 1: guess some people like it. Seems like it has some
- 8:06Speaker 1: tragic consequences. This one's kind of an old story, but
- 8:11Speaker 1: it popped up on my feed. I thought I would
- 8:14Speaker 1: cover it. Residents of Granada Village demand exorcism after ghost
- 8:18Speaker 1: child is spotted in town hall. Oh no, I've got
- 8:23Speaker 1: to sign up for this one, damn it. I found
- 8:26Speaker 1: a free version. It's the sun. Good old sun. Spooked
- 8:32Speaker 1: out Spanish town demands exorcist after freaked out council workers
- 8:36Speaker 1: snaps chilling picture of ghost girl stalking the town hall.
- 8:40Speaker 1: The man was plunged into a state of panic and
- 8:42Speaker 1: locked himself in the office. And there's the picture of
- 8:46Speaker 1: the ghost girl. So the counselor was working late in
- 8:49Speaker 1: this place. Need Granada in Spain when he noticed the
- 8:53Speaker 1: air suddenly turned icy cold. He put on his coat
- 8:57Speaker 1: and went to the bathroom, but was startled by an
- 8:59Speaker 1: unusual noise. I heard a strange rustling sound in the hallway,
- 9:04Speaker 1: like someone was dragging files across the floor. He was
- 9:08Speaker 1: worried that it was a burglar so he grabbed his
- 9:10Speaker 1: phone to call the police, but instead decided to take
- 9:13Speaker 1: a picture to see if anyone was there. At first
- 9:16Speaker 1: he thought the corridor was clear, but soon afterwards he
- 9:19Speaker 1: inspected the picture more closely and saw the ghostly little girl.
- 9:24Speaker 1: He was plunged into a state of panic and locked
- 9:26Speaker 1: himself in the office and sent a photograph to a
- 9:29Speaker 1: WhatsApp group of his fellow government workers. It's a strange
- 9:33Speaker 1: picture in it. They're always like this though. They're so
- 9:37Speaker 1: grainy and full of artifacts that you can't really tell
- 9:40Speaker 1: exactly what you're looking at here. Now the mayor has
- 9:44Speaker 1: been urged to hire an exorcist after other staff reported
- 9:47Speaker 1: feeling the ethereal cold. Very scary, I think you'll agree.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Mattel deeply regrets porn site misprint on wicked dolls. The
- 9:57Speaker 1: toy manufacturer Mattel said it deeply regrets a misprint on
- 10:01Speaker 1: packaging for dolls inspired by the new Wicked movie, which
- 10:04Speaker 1: listed the address for an adult website. The company recently
- 10:08Speaker 1: released the singing dolls ahead of the longer-waited film. Is
- 10:12Speaker 1: it longer-waited? It looks awful to me, but then I
- 10:16Speaker 1: guess I'm not the target audience here. Eagle-eyed fans posted
- 10:20Speaker 1: images on social media showing the packaging had a pornography
- 10:23Speaker 1: website on it instead of the movie's web address. In
- 10:27Speaker 1: a statement Mattel apologized for the unfortunate error and advised
- 10:31Speaker 1: parents that misprinted website is not a program for children.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Woman discovers rat remains in loaf of sasco bread. It's
- 10:39Speaker 1: like a it's like a Damien Hirst art installation isn't it? Beautiful,
- 10:44Speaker 1: absolutely beautiful. Oh, is that a skull? Let it have
- 10:49Speaker 1: a face on my god. Turn it over, I want
- 10:52Speaker 1: to see the face on the other side. Okay, that
- 10:56Speaker 1: was absolutely horrifying. Quick, we've got to pad out this
- 11:00Speaker 1: article about a rat in a loaf of bread. What
- 11:03Speaker 1: can we write? So she says, I recently bought bread
- 11:07Speaker 1: from the spa on August 27th. On the same day
- 11:11Speaker 1: I made toast after work and ate the bread. The
- 11:15Speaker 1: following day after work I did the same thing. Then
- 11:18Speaker 1: on the morning of August 31st, I took the bread
- 11:21Speaker 1: out of the fridge to make toast and noticed something
- 11:24Speaker 1: disgusting and scary. I took a picture and sent it
- 11:27Speaker 1: to my friends and one of them said, that's a
- 11:29Speaker 1: rat friend. Or did they say that's a rat friend? Oh,
- 11:34Speaker 1: you've got a little rat friend in your bread. I
- 11:37Speaker 1: was in denial and suggested it might be something else,
- 11:40Speaker 1: but the rat scenario made sense. She sent an email
- 11:44Speaker 1: with the recording and pictures of the bread to the
- 11:46Speaker 1: supplier and they replied saying that the bread just had mold.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Sounds about right. And then no one said anything. I
- 11:55Speaker 1: think what happened was no one said anything hoping it
- 11:58Speaker 1: would just go away and it garnered over 2000 shares
- 12:01Speaker 1: and over 1000 comments. So then someone from the company
- 12:05Speaker 1: actually got back to them and said, Mom, I'm from Sasko.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I'm calling regarding your recent experience with our products. I
- 12:14Speaker 1: sincerely apologize for what happened to you. It shouldn't have happened,
- 12:18Speaker 1: but you must understand that it gets hot where we
- 12:20Speaker 1: bake our products. So things like this are bound to happen. Yes,
- 12:26Speaker 1: I admit your bread had a mouse or rats. We
- 12:30Speaker 1: are putting measures in place to prevent this from happening again.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Don't worry, it won't affect you health-wise. Oh, that's reassuring.
- 12:40Speaker 1: McCumbler said that the apology only made it angrier. Instead
- 12:44Speaker 1: of saying sorry, they told me to understand that the
- 12:47Speaker 1: bread gets hot where they bake. And that's why there's
- 12:50Speaker 1: a rat in my bread. It gets hot of course
- 12:53Speaker 1: as a rat in your bread. Okay, anyway, that's a
- 12:57Speaker 1: disgusting video. That was worth tuning in for, wasn't it?
- 13:02Speaker 1: Mystery as prankster Phil Stemion with urine at the UK's
- 13:06Speaker 1: biggest police station leaving officer's shirt stained yellow and sparking
- 13:10Speaker 1: criminal damage probe. Our prankster has hit Britain's biggest police
- 13:14Speaker 1: station and filled it a locker steam iron with his
- 13:17Speaker 1: own urine. How did he know it's a he? Better
- 13:21Speaker 1: aim I guess. An inquiry has been launched to find
- 13:24Speaker 1: the person responsible for criminal damage at Charing Cross police
- 13:27Speaker 1: station in central London. The force is now investigating the incidents,
- 13:33Speaker 1: including checking through the rotor to see which members of
- 13:35Speaker 1: staff were on shift at the time of the offences.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Retired Met Detective Chief Inspector Mick Neville told The Sun.
- 13:43Speaker 1: This has no doubt caused quite a stink. A joke's
- 13:47Speaker 1: one thing, but this is taking then you know what.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I can't believe The Sun reached out to a retired
- 13:53Speaker 1: Detective Chief Inspector for comment on the urine incident. This
- 13:57Speaker 1: is a different type of inquiry to the ones usually
- 14:00Speaker 1: launched following leaks. He said he had all the puns ready,
- 14:04Speaker 1: didn't he? He said it would be a relief when
- 14:07Speaker 1: the slash of the yard was caught. Man he had
- 14:10Speaker 1: these ready. I reckon this guy, I reckon this guy McNeville.
- 14:16Speaker 1: He seemed to have all these puns lined up ready
- 14:18Speaker 1: for this incident. I reckon he should be the prime
- 14:22Speaker 1: suspect in this case. This one's a weird one. A
- 14:26Speaker 1: Walmart employee ended up in one of the walk-in ovens
- 14:29Speaker 1: and baked the death basically. Absolutely horrifying way to go. Yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 1: there's a bit of mystery about how it actually happened
- 14:38Speaker 1: because apparently you can open them from the inside and
- 14:40Speaker 1: there's no reason why someone should have got locked in there.
- 14:44Speaker 1: A Walmart employee has given a new chilling explanation after
- 14:47Speaker 1: her 19-year-old co-worker was baked to death in the walk-in oven.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Last week the remains of Gershman Kaur, a residence of Halifax,
- 14:55Speaker 1: Nova Scotia, was found dead in one of the superstar's appliances.
- 15:00Speaker 1: In an effort to understand the nature of the gruesome murder,
- 15:04Speaker 1: So I don't know whether it is a murder investigation,
- 15:07Speaker 1: but the mirror definitely seems to think it was. These
- 15:10Speaker 1: ovens are so hard to shut from the outside you
- 15:13Speaker 1: have to push them. Show you. You know, when you
- 15:17Speaker 1: open too hard, when you just put the amount of
- 15:20Speaker 1: them above it, let's see what happens. There is no
- 15:23Speaker 1: way that this girl locked herself into one of these
- 15:26Speaker 1: ovens while cleaning it. No way possible. I'm just showing
- 15:31Speaker 1: you the emergency button. It doesn't pop. It pops it
- 15:36Speaker 1: all open. If this will really close by itself, it doesn't.
- 15:41Speaker 1: It doesn't wrap. It's the time to actually go. Oh
- 15:46Speaker 1: don't do it. This is the oven. Not a little,
- 15:50Speaker 1: not big. Just enough to fit what like three racks
- 15:54Speaker 1: of bread in there. That's the push button that you're
- 15:57Speaker 1: supposed to press in case of an emergency. That will
- 16:01Speaker 1: release the door knob. Why was she in there when
- 16:04Speaker 1: the other was on? These ovens are so hard to open. Yeah, mysterious.
- 16:11Speaker 1: That's strange. In an official statement, the Halifax police said
- 16:16Speaker 1: the investigation determined the death was not suspicious and there
- 16:19Speaker 1: was no evidence of foul play. So we understand that
- 16:23Speaker 1: there have been many questions about what happened. Thura investigations
- 16:27Speaker 1: take time. As part of the investigation, we conducted several
- 16:32Speaker 1: interviews and reviewed video footage. I can share that our
- 16:36Speaker 1: investigation has not led to suspect foul play. We do
- 16:40Speaker 1: not believe anyone else was involved. A strange case, but
- 16:44Speaker 1: apparently they just think she walked in there and died.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Clawed AI gets bored during coding demonstration. It starts perusing
- 16:53Speaker 1: photos of national parks instead. I was getting a bit
- 16:57Speaker 1: suspicious of these things. Maybe it's just a stunt to
- 17:01Speaker 1: get a bit of publicity for the AI model. This
- 17:04Speaker 1: could all be fake. They're like, oh no, look, our
- 17:08Speaker 1: AI is so intelligent. It's so human-like that it started
- 17:13Speaker 1: just googling random pictures for fun. With Claude, the Amazon
- 17:17Speaker 1: back startup brags that its latest model can now use
- 17:20Speaker 1: computers the way people do, such as moving a cursor
- 17:23Speaker 1: and inputting keystrokes and mouse clicks. This means Claude can
- 17:28Speaker 1: potentially control your entire desktop. What a terrifying thought. Don't
- 17:34Speaker 1: click on that folder, Claude. This is just another example
- 17:38Speaker 1: of AI getting out of hand. Now apparently they can
- 17:42Speaker 1: control our computers and God knows what their cold robot
- 17:45Speaker 1: mind's gonna do next. Anyway, they're here. Oh yeah, I
- 17:50Speaker 1: saw this with you. Let's see if we can get
- 17:53Speaker 1: this playing again. There we go. I can load it now.
- 17:59Speaker 1: So here we go. Here's the lady. Let's see if
- 18:03Speaker 1: we can get it full screen. There we go. Watch her.
- 18:09Speaker 1: She's fine. Hey, I'm walking here. Look at this guy.
- 18:15Speaker 1: You're kidding me. Alright, anyway. Yeah, good. I'm glad she's alright.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I could have been way worse. Devil's digits. 6 9
- 18:28Speaker 1: 0 4 5 2, oh, I've said it out loud
- 18:32Speaker 1: now so it's gonna happen. Why are people writing heaven
- 18:36Speaker 1: or hell number on RSTS in viral TikTok trend? Read
- 18:40Speaker 1: on to know what happens when you write the eerie
- 18:42Speaker 1: number on your wrist. I can't wait. Social media users
- 18:47Speaker 1: are writing a bizarre combination of digits dubbed heaven or
- 18:51Speaker 1: hell number on their wrists. Here's everything you need to
- 18:54Speaker 1: know about this dangerous TikTok trend. The 690452 TikTok trend
- 19:00Speaker 1: is a creepy internet challenge that was first trending in
- 19:04Speaker 1: 2021 but has made a comeback in 2024. The bizarre
- 19:08Speaker 1: trend sees users write this number on their wrists before
- 19:11Speaker 1: going to sleep. Legend has it that the 690452 number
- 19:16Speaker 1: is known as the heaven or hell number or the
- 19:19Speaker 1: devil's digits and can transport you to a parallel universe
- 19:22Speaker 1: whilst you're asleep. It is said to be a gateway
- 19:25Speaker 1: to an unescapable dream state where you live a cursed
- 19:28Speaker 1: life all the while dreaming whilst you are asleep. It's
- 19:32Speaker 1: claimed that if you go to sleep with the number
- 19:33Speaker 1: written on your wrist you will see creepy things in
- 19:36Speaker 1: your dreams like demons, headless humans, dark alleys, and giant monsters.
- 19:41Speaker 1: What makes the challenge even more interesting is the claim
- 19:44Speaker 1: that if you die in your dreams you will die
- 19:46Speaker 1: in real life too. The trend has now gone viral
- 19:50Speaker 1: on the internet after TikTok users and cult fanatics began
- 19:53Speaker 1: posting recordings showing them writing the number sequence on their
- 19:56Speaker 1: wrists just before going to sleep. No one knows the
- 20:00Speaker 1: true origins of the number. Many TikTok users who attempted
- 20:04Speaker 1: to trend said it didn't work for them. Whilst some
- 20:07Speaker 1: said that they were indeed stuck in a creepy lucid
- 20:10Speaker 1: state that seemed far more dangerous than a regular nightmare.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I want to see some recordings of people doing it.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Let's see. Oh I can't be bothered. Look at TikTok
- 20:22Speaker 1: in it. Anyway there we go. It's a TikTok trend.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Don't write that number on your wrist. Ghosts will get you.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Friends captured terrifying creature watching them from the garden in
- 20:36Speaker 1: the middle of the night. Was it a skinwalker? I
- 20:40Speaker 1: don't know. Why are you asking me? The recording went
- 20:44Speaker 1: viral on TikTok after a group of friends caught a
- 20:47Speaker 1: supposed skinwalker watching them from the garden in the middle
- 20:50Speaker 1: of the night. What was it? I don't know. I've
- 20:55Speaker 1: got the creepy music on so it's definitely the right video.
- 20:59Speaker 1: It is some friends sitting around but then why would
- 21:01Speaker 1: they turn the camera around and film out the window
- 21:03Speaker 1: like that? Unless they knew it was already there. That
- 21:08Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense. It looked like they're having a
- 21:11Speaker 1: fun time anyway. A group of friends can be seen
- 21:15Speaker 1: enjoying a succulent Chinese meal. The scariest thing about the
- 21:19Speaker 1: recording is that the supposed ghost does not take its
- 21:22Speaker 1: gaze off the people living in the house for a
- 21:24Speaker 1: second as if it was planning its next move. Yeah
- 21:27Speaker 1: I mean if it's a fake video just just a
- 21:29Speaker 1: tip for people making spooky ghost recordings. You want to
- 21:33Speaker 1: capture these things sort of accidentally. If you just turn
- 21:37Speaker 1: in the camera round and zooming in on the thing
- 21:39Speaker 1: it makes me think it's just like a statue or
- 21:41Speaker 1: something weird in the garden. I feel like you could
- 21:45Speaker 1: add that standard TikTok spooky music to anything and it
- 21:48Speaker 1: would be creepy. Hope you enjoyed the episode. Thank you
- 21:52Speaker 1: very much. Goodbye. Hello everybody. Let's jump right in with
- 21:59Speaker 1: the most important news. Falmouth ghost haunts walkers by telling
- 22:03Speaker 1: them to F off at the site of an 18th
- 22:05Speaker 1: century murder in Somerset's Dead Woman's Ditch. A bad man
- 22:10Speaker 1: had ghosted haunting a famous beauty spot and telling unsuspecting
- 22:13Speaker 1: walkers to F off. The area's named after the murder
- 22:17Speaker 1: of Jane Wolford by her husband John in 1789. There
- 22:21Speaker 1: were reports of a sweary apparition two years ago but
- 22:24Speaker 1: after a brief holiday she seems to be back at
- 22:27Speaker 1: a sharp-tongued worst. One resident said when I was 17
- 22:31Speaker 1: on my way home from work driving along a cold
- 22:33Speaker 1: road I saw a bright white figure on the side
- 22:36Speaker 1: of the road so I slowed down. It appeared to
- 22:39Speaker 1: be a woman completely dressed in white old-fashioned clothing. I
- 22:43Speaker 1: couldn't take my eyes off as I drove past. I
- 22:47Speaker 1: couldn't bring myself to turn around to have another look.
- 22:50Speaker 1: I just drove home in complete shock. Fuck off, fuck off,
- 22:55Speaker 1: fuck off, fuck off, get out. Another said, I've seen
- 23:00Speaker 1: what looks like a tall figure with a long dark
- 23:02Speaker 1: coat on outside the pub on the edge of the road.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Checked back and there was no one there. Oh if
- 23:09Speaker 1: I lived nearby I'd go and investigate myself but just
- 23:12Speaker 1: say there's a ghost hunter investigating. I really hope they
- 23:16Speaker 1: get recording of the ghost telling people to F off.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Japanese boulder that's imprisoned a demon for 1,000 years mysteriously
- 23:23Speaker 1: cracks open. The Sashio Seiki Killing Stone is an ancient
- 23:28Speaker 1: boulder in Japan that features prominently in Japanese mythology and
- 23:31Speaker 1: is said to kill anyone that comes in contact with it.
- 23:35Speaker 1: It's a volcanic rock that supposedly houses an evil spirit
- 23:38Speaker 1: and sits on an active volcano in central Japan not
- 23:41Speaker 1: far from Tokyo. Setsu have imprisoned the evil nine-tailed fox
- 23:46Speaker 1: demon S. Tamamo no Mi I want to see. I
- 23:49Speaker 1: want to see with my own eyes what this thing
- 23:51Speaker 1: looks like.
- 24:02Speaker 1: She appears to be a beautiful
- 24:06Speaker 1: woman but is later exposed as being a nine-tailed fox. Okay,
- 24:11Speaker 1: well we're all doomed. I think we knew that already anyways.
- 24:16Speaker 1: UFO unleashes lightning attack on Russian tanks after Ukrainians prayed
- 24:20Speaker 1: to God. A group of Russian tanks were supposedly wiped
- 24:24Speaker 1: out by a mystery UFO attack after the families of
- 24:27Speaker 1: trapped Ukrainian soldiers prayed to God to offer the troops
- 24:30Speaker 1: some help. The UFO swooped in to save Ukrainian troops
- 24:34Speaker 1: from approaching Russian tanks in a miracle lightning attack according
- 24:38Speaker 1: to a correspondence. Okay. So there was somebody who was
- 24:42Speaker 1: in the military and in the dark of night they
- 24:44Speaker 1: were holding their positions and discovered that a lot of
- 24:46Speaker 1: Russian Federation tanks and machines were coming at them. He
- 24:50Speaker 1: picked up his phone and called his father and he said, Dad,
- 24:54Speaker 1: you have to pray right now we're in a situation.
- 24:57Speaker 1: His father rings the other members of the church and
- 25:00Speaker 1: he start praying. Sometime later the son rang the father again.
- 25:05Speaker 1: He said, some miracle has happened. There was an attack
- 25:09Speaker 1: from some spaceship. There was some kind of lightning shooting
- 25:13Speaker 1: from the sky and sparks were spreading everywhere. Then in
- 25:17Speaker 1: the morning they discovered the whole machinery was destroyed. Still
- 25:21Speaker 1: more believable than the ghost of Kiev. My creepy dough
- 25:25Speaker 1: painting is cursed. I can't deny that this picture just
- 25:29Speaker 1: gave me the creeps. Thought to be an alias. Explains
- 25:34Speaker 1: in a terrifying eBay listing how ignored a warning from
- 25:37Speaker 1: a flea market storeholder that no good can come from
- 25:40Speaker 1: this painting. He says he's now trying to get rid
- 25:43Speaker 1: of it claiming he fears he will go insane if
- 25:45Speaker 1: it stays in his house. Let's have a look at
- 25:48Speaker 1: its cell. Here, yeah. For a 90-day-old home he felt
- 25:53Speaker 1: an invisible river of chills and legs the wolves find
- 25:56Speaker 1: an insect crawling over his face. He then finds a
- 26:00Speaker 1: crack in the wall with maggots and adult insects crawling
- 26:03Speaker 1: out from behind it. In the morning he hung the
- 26:06Speaker 1: painting on his living room wall. Moments later he found
- 26:10Speaker 1: his beloved hamster dead with the same insect wriggling out
- 26:13Speaker 1: of its mouth. But why pass it on and continue
- 26:17Speaker 1: such a terrible legacy you ask? Damn goes on. Why
- 26:22Speaker 1: not destroy it? Well sure, setting their painting on fire
- 26:26Speaker 1: could rid the world of wickedness brought about by the piece.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Who says that by burning it I'm not just going
- 26:32Speaker 1: to make things ten times worse? No, I don't want
- 26:36Speaker 1: to risk that. I'd rather sell it to some poor
- 26:39Speaker 1: soul who doesn't believe this story or even scarier, some
- 26:43Speaker 1: brave soul who does. Terrified woman finds haunted photo in
- 26:47Speaker 1: old copy of the ring in creepy DVD discovery. Do
- 26:51Speaker 1: you want to see the photo? Because it is. It's terrifying. Okay,
- 26:58Speaker 1: I've got some news from South Africa here. South Africa
- 27:02Speaker 1: female student screen roll on floor over evil spirits attack.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Here we go. We've got a picture of the attack happening.
- 27:11Speaker 1: That's very scary isn't it? Some female students in Galeshwe
- 27:16Speaker 1: in Kimberley, Northern Cape, I'm probably saying all these things
- 27:20Speaker 1: completely wrong. So forgive me. 18 girls mostly in grades
- 27:25Speaker 1: 8 to 10 started crying, screaming and rolling on the
- 27:29Speaker 1: floor after apparently seeing a scary creature that was making
- 27:32Speaker 1: them weak. The incident comes barely two weeks after another
- 27:36Speaker 1: school experienced a similar incident. This is the third school
- 27:40Speaker 1: in Kimberley to be impacted by the alleged evil spirits
- 27:43Speaker 1: and conclusions are made that opportunistic satanic methods were being
- 27:47Speaker 1: used on young people and children in the area. But
- 27:50Speaker 1: it's not the first time that something like this has happened.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Let me have a look if I'm finding another example
- 27:56Speaker 1: of this. I've heard about quite an old one. Yeah,
- 28:01Speaker 1: here we go. Here's another word I can't pronounce. The
- 28:06Speaker 1: Tanganyika laughter epidemic. An outbreak of mass hysteria or mass
- 28:11Speaker 1: psychogenic illness or perhaps a demon possession. The laughter epidemic
- 28:16Speaker 1: began on January 31, 1962 at a mission-run boarding school
- 28:21Speaker 1: for girls in Koshchisha. Symptoms lasted from a few hours
- 28:25Speaker 1: to 16 days. The teaching staff were unaffected and reported
- 28:30Speaker 1: that students were unable to concentrate on their lessons. The
- 28:33Speaker 1: Kashsisha school was sued for allowing the children and their
- 28:36Speaker 1: parents to transmit it to surrounding areas. The laughter reports
- 28:41Speaker 1: were widely accompanied by descriptions of fainting, flat chillance, respiratory problems, rashes,
- 28:47Speaker 1: crying and screaming. In all 14 schools were shut down
- 28:52Speaker 1: and a thousand people were affected. Anyway, there we go.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Some possible mass hysteria, possible demon attack, who knows. Bizarre
- 29:03Speaker 1: alien creature found after rainfall. It has stumped biologists. The
- 29:09Speaker 1: original video here is on Instagram so I can take
- 29:11Speaker 1: a look at this posted by Harry Hayes. Very nice.
- 29:16Speaker 1: A small creature found on the streets of Sydney, Australia
- 29:19Speaker 1: has stumped biologists, academics and social media users alike. Harry
- 29:25Speaker 1: Hayes was jogging on Monday morning when he stumbled upon
- 29:28Speaker 1: the creature. My gut says it's some kind of embryo
- 29:31Speaker 1: but with COVID, World War III and the floods going on,
- 29:35Speaker 1: it could very well be an alien. When Lab Bible
- 29:38Speaker 1: reached out to the University of Sydney and the University
- 29:41Speaker 1: of New South Wales to identify the creature, none of
- 29:44Speaker 1: the academics were able to identify either. So, can you?
- 29:50Speaker 1: Started with a ghost story, let's end with a ghost story.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Photo reveals that the family of four might have been
- 29:56Speaker 1: visited by a ghost class swimming. so they were at
- 29:59Speaker 1: a spot called Murphy's Hall at Lockyer River in 2014. However,
- 30:05Speaker 1: when they examined the photo in question, they discovered a
- 30:08Speaker 1: fourth child in the photo in between the two adults.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Davidson was understandably terrified at the score that almost exactly
- 30:15Speaker 1: a hundred years earlier, a 13-year-old girl named Doreen Sullivan
- 30:19Speaker 1: had drowned in this exact location. Experts examined a negative
- 30:24Speaker 1: of the image and could not deny that there was
- 30:26Speaker 1: a light in the shape of a young girl in
- 30:28Speaker 1: the photo. Some people believe it's just a splash of water,
- 30:32Speaker 1: it's definitely not a splash of water. Something much more solid.
- 30:38Speaker 1: I also like that this kid at the front seems
- 30:40Speaker 1: to be sticking the finger up sneaky. Alright, well that's
- 30:43Speaker 1: a nice spooky image to end on. I think it's
- 30:47Speaker 1: been a very productive day and I've covered the most
- 30:49Speaker 1: important news topics after the last few weeks. Cheers everyone,
- 30:54Speaker 1: thanks for watching.
