- 0:20Speaker 1: Trump's beef with the Pope, Malania's speech on Epstein, blue
- 0:25Speaker 1: wave midterms, hopefully on the horizon, victor Orbon loses election
- 0:31Speaker 1: in Hungary, and we're going to answer all your questions
- 0:35Speaker 1: from the DM So stick around. I thought I just
- 0:38Speaker 1: lost my laptop. I just had like a where to go.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I knew where it was. Should have just asked me
- 0:44Speaker 2: what I just told you?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Oh no, That's what Renter's insurance is good for, though,
- 0:49Speaker 1: because it covers like laptops and stuff.
- 0:51Speaker 2: So if you lose your laptop someplace else, you.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Have to pay like the at least for my policy,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I think I have to pay like a five dollars
- 0:58Speaker 1: deductible replace it. But I think I had to call
- 1:02Speaker 1: them and tell them that I wanted electronics covered, and
- 1:05Speaker 1: they did it. Okay, because I do lose it a lot.
- 1:08Speaker 2: You lose important things.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yeah, you said, okay, so serious, like.
- 1:15Speaker 2: No, no, no, I mean I'm trying to think I
- 1:18Speaker 2: hate losing things.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I mean I don't get I don't drive joy from it.
- 1:22Speaker 2: No, no, no, I know. But like I misplace things
- 1:25Speaker 2: a lot, I don't actually lose them, if that makes sense.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I end up finding it. And sometimes I'll buy another thing, okay,
- 1:33Speaker 2: and then I'll find it and then just return the
- 1:35Speaker 2: other thing.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Oh you do, Okay, See, I would never I don't
- 1:38Speaker 1: have that kind of follow through. Alyssa and I are
- 1:40Speaker 1: the same like that, We're like, whoa messy, Well we'll
- 1:45Speaker 1: just have like four the same thing.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Well that's the case them. But I, you know, okay,
- 1:51Speaker 2: so you know what would happen to me all the time.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I hate traveling without headphones.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Melissa Melbranch Melissa no middle name, mel Branch. I got
- 2:04Speaker 1: on so I had to go to d C, which
- 2:06Speaker 1: is my least favorite place on earth?
- 2:08Speaker 2: Is it really? Yes?
- 2:09Speaker 1: And I texted CJ and I said, next time someone
- 2:11Speaker 1: tries to book me in DC, polase say no.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I'm going to be in d a couple of weeks.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Okay, Thoughts and prayers because when I was there, so
- 2:20Speaker 1: I get on the am track, which is already I'm
- 2:25Speaker 1: already upset. I'm already upset. And this was after that
- 2:28Speaker 1: guy recognized me, was that my wife loves you and
- 2:31Speaker 1: took a photo of me looking dishoveled. So I get
- 2:34Speaker 1: on the amtrack.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I love that actually, And after years.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Of these headphones working, no problems, beautiful, incredible sound, noise canceling,
- 2:43Speaker 1: just what you need when you're on Amtrak, even if
- 2:46Speaker 1: you're in the choir card, there's always some guy.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Well also, I just want to block everybody out.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and I needed to lock in on a
- 2:55Speaker 1: couple documents these headphones sent me Do Not Resuscitate Notice
- 3:02Speaker 1: d n R on my headphones gone after years, and
- 3:06Speaker 1: it was like a four hour train ride. And I know,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I like, it's such a first world problem, but you
- 3:12Speaker 1: know what, it really was awful.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Cig and I were talking about this earlier, about like
- 3:17Speaker 2: things that happen, and like it's like, oh, and then
- 3:20Speaker 2: you feel bad, like you that this is the thing
- 3:22Speaker 2: that you're upset about, and I'm like, but this is
- 3:24Speaker 2: your life.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Yeah right, what it is my life and I'm never going.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Back to dat. But it's not like you don't care
- 3:30Speaker 2: about things that are happening to other people, but you're
- 3:33Speaker 2: allowed to be annoyed about that.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I was like going to lock in, put on white noise,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and work on someone's asylum application, like it was actually
- 3:41Speaker 1: to help someone else. So like, I did really need
- 3:44Speaker 1: those headphones in that way, So I did buy a
- 3:47Speaker 1: ten dollars pair to just keep in my back aut
- 3:51Speaker 1: all times for emergencies.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Go. Here's what happens to me though, I do that,
- 3:55Speaker 2: and then you lose them, and then I and I
- 3:57Speaker 2: leave them somewhere. So then what ends up happening is
- 4:00Speaker 2: the first part of my commute, I would get off
- 4:03Speaker 2: and there was an Apple store, so I would go
- 4:05Speaker 2: into the Apple Store and I would buy new corded chadphones, right,
- 4:10Speaker 2: because I like left my air pods at home.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And you also need to be able to talk to
- 4:14Speaker 1: me on the phone, not at all times while you
- 4:16Speaker 1: were walking in Yeah, correct.
- 4:18Speaker 2: And so what ends up happening is that I have
- 4:21Speaker 2: this collection. It looks like a nest of like all
- 4:26Speaker 2: these headphones because I've bought them repeatedly, tangled entangles, just
- 4:33Speaker 2: a nest of them.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like when they opened they opened the wall
- 4:37Speaker 1: in our in our house, when I was a kid
- 4:40Speaker 1: and there was like a nest of mice in there. Oh,
- 4:43Speaker 1: it's like that. This is sidebar. Let's get into a
- 4:47Speaker 1: sidebar of just a little personal story. What's going on
- 4:49Speaker 1: in our lives. What's happening with you?
- 4:51Speaker 2: Me?
- 4:52Speaker 1: What's happening me and you?
- 4:53Speaker 2: You and I?
- 4:54Speaker 1: Your nails look nice. I got my toes done. My
- 4:57Speaker 1: friend picked out, so I have my I have a friend.
- 5:02Speaker 1: She she is so not I love her so much,
- 5:07Speaker 1: but Jesus Christ, sometimes the choices she makes stylistically, I'm like, girl.
- 5:11Speaker 2: For herself for years, for herself.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Okay. So we're getting her nels done and she's picking
- 5:16Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh, let's pick a color. She picks neutral.
- 5:20Speaker 2: For the toes. Neutral toes are the worst.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Light green. I'm like, what, like, like green? No, I'm
- 5:27Speaker 1: asking her. I'm like, pick a different one. Yeah, next one,
- 5:31Speaker 1: light brown? But is that the next one?
- 5:39Speaker 2: Girl?
- 5:40Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 5:40Speaker 2: But is that what she likes?
- 5:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very like pottery teacher coded like, it's very
- 5:48Speaker 1: it's very shops at che goes. Yeah, it's very birth
- 5:55Speaker 1: which one you know what I would say birth? Okay, yeah,
- 5:58Speaker 1: because there is a difference there.
- 6:00Speaker 2: No there's of course. I actually thought about being a
- 6:02Speaker 2: death doula. Yeah, it might happen one day. You're so annoying, not.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Me thinking death duel has just shoot people.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I was actually talking to my sister in law about
- 6:15Speaker 2: this over the weekend and she.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Was like, well, someone kill me, and you were like actually,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and she was like.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Oh, you know, She's like, you probably would like that.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And then my mom my mom my mom was there
- 6:27Speaker 2: and she was like, she was like, what is that?
- 6:32Speaker 2: And me, I was like, you sort of help people
- 6:34Speaker 2: transition over and then you you also help their families,
- 6:38Speaker 2: and my mom was like, it was just straight faced
- 6:43Speaker 2: emoji magalie.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I feel like it's really hard to wrap your head
- 6:48Speaker 1: around getting into that. But once you're like in that space,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I bet it's probably pretty you get used to like.
- 6:56Speaker 2: It would be very rewarding. I think that you know.
- 7:00Speaker 2: The other thing I think, and this is it's a
- 7:03Speaker 2: short relationship, do you know what I mean? Like you
- 7:06Speaker 2: do you help the people and then you're you're done right,
- 7:10Speaker 2: as opposed to like I think regular jobs, you got
- 7:15Speaker 2: to see those people all the time.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And I don't want to sometimes.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Especially the one person that you see there's always like
- 7:22Speaker 2: the one person that you hate.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Becky from Finance. Yeah, it's like Karen from HR. We
- 7:29Speaker 1: don't want to see you go back to your office.
- 7:33Speaker 2: You know, the person that I hate the most.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Oh of course I know.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I hate that person so much.
- 7:39Speaker 1: We can't talk about him. That's CJ. He's in the
- 7:41Speaker 1: studio right now. Wait. Fox News is reporting that you
- 7:45Speaker 1: and I are married.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yes, did you see it? Did you see it? Oh
- 7:50Speaker 2: my god? So I sent it to a mutual friend.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I was just like, look at this and she was like.
- 7:55Speaker 1: What speaking of HR? Exactly right. HR called me and said,
- 7:59Speaker 1: you can't have a relationship with your co host.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Well we're it's so iHeartRadio. HR calls me so weird, though, like.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I think I need to clear the record. They did
- 8:13Speaker 1: not call me.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Oh they didn't.
- 8:14Speaker 1: No, HRD exactly right, and iHeart I think are both
- 8:17Speaker 1: gay men that I've slept with, so they know we're
- 8:19Speaker 1: not married. There's no way that they.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Think you're such a messy, messy bitch.
- 8:23Speaker 1: So Fox News picked up I think one of my videos,
- 8:26Speaker 1: which bots often pick them.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Up, misreport Michael Foot and his wife.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yes, yes, my parents are going to be thrilled they're
- 8:43Speaker 1: gonna be like, finally we knew it was a phase.
- 8:48Speaker 2: He's bringing home a black wife twenty five who's also
- 8:55Speaker 2: like a good fifteen years older than he is.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Intergeneration into transracial marriage.
- 9:04Speaker 2: No kids, loves to thrift, love, has a cat.
- 9:09Speaker 1: They'll be thrilled. So my dad's like value systems on
- 9:12Speaker 1: who comes into the family is based off like what
- 9:15Speaker 1: services you can provide him. So what do you like?
- 9:19Speaker 1: Brad's an architect, so he's like, great free architect. I
- 9:22Speaker 1: before like you. Okay, So if you're going to be
- 9:25Speaker 1: my I guess work wife. Yeah, you've got to think about,
- 9:28Speaker 1: like what value you can add to.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Kevin's What is what is Kevin like? I can I'm
- 9:36Speaker 2: a really good cook.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Okay. He likes food, Yes, he loves food. I think
- 9:40Speaker 1: that's great. I think you just figured it out. I
- 9:43Speaker 1: think he would love that. Loves good conversation and a
- 9:46Speaker 1: stiff drink. Okay, So I think I mean you already
- 9:49Speaker 1: got your podcaster. So that's the first the conversation you
- 9:51Speaker 1: got down. Sure, and I've seen the strangers. I've seen
- 9:55Speaker 1: you drink. You've met my dad.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I have met your dad.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Yeah, we were married at the wedding.
- 10:05Speaker 2: He gave me Michael's hand in marriage. It was lovely.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It was lovely. That's what confused Madeline. That's why she
- 10:14Speaker 2: said that you weren't coming. She was like, I thought
- 10:16Speaker 2: he was supposed to marry ants.
- 10:20Speaker 1: This does feel like something that would happen in an
- 10:22Speaker 1: Ai fruit video. Is that I'm.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Trying so hard to like stop that ship because it's
- 10:31Speaker 2: I've now there are shoes. It's so I saw the crock,
- 10:36Speaker 2: the crock. Yeah, So this week I've been like, every
- 10:41Speaker 2: time it pops up, I go past it really fast.
- 10:45Speaker 2: It's too I don't want it. I need to banish it.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I need to banish it.
- 10:49Speaker 1: I will not die.
- 10:52Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I will not Melissa every time she is the video
- 10:59Speaker 1: of the plane in a thunderstorm and over Africa, it
- 11:02Speaker 1: was I.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Think the I believe that they were going to Nigeriagia,
- 11:09Speaker 2: but I saw it on the Haitian interwebs because we
- 11:12Speaker 2: were like, that's us too, and so they were. They
- 11:16Speaker 2: showed the difference between It was like a flight going
- 11:19Speaker 2: to like Ireland that like got bumpy and people were
- 11:22Speaker 2: just like basically very quietly yes, praying the Irish Catholics.
- 11:28Speaker 2: But the plane that was going to Nigeria, people were like,
- 11:33Speaker 2: they were praying out loud and they were like, you know,
- 11:36Speaker 2: asking God to save them. And my favorite one is
- 11:40Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus, I would not die. I
- 11:44Speaker 2: would say.
- 11:45Speaker 1: That to each other all the time.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I just think I think it should be everyone's mantra
- 11:53Speaker 2: in the name, in the name of whoever. Right, But
- 11:57Speaker 2: I'm not going to die today today, not the day.
- 11:59Speaker 1: It's an Honestly, we increasingly in America need to say
- 12:02Speaker 1: that more and more because we never know what's going
- 12:04Speaker 1: to happen.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It's never good.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Let's get into your algorithm is showing this is all
- 12:12Speaker 1: the weird, crazy things happening on the internet. Right it's
- 12:15Speaker 1: Monday morning.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's not Monday morning.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Okay, Well see I'm already lost in the space kind
- 12:22Speaker 1: of them continuum laughing. How late I was to the studio.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Today is absolutely we never recorded.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I did see a thing on my algorithm about why
- 12:36Speaker 1: gay people are late. I think it's like a theory.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I don't think there's like an actual science or doctor
- 12:42Speaker 1: behind you give me this the internet theory, which I
- 12:44Speaker 1: think is just I think it's just some gay person. Yeah,
- 12:50Speaker 1: gay person with Wi Fi.
- 12:51Speaker 2: But what's that?
- 12:54Speaker 1: People have always had to operate on like a shortened
- 12:56Speaker 1: timeline with their life because of yase, persecution, death aids crises.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So gay people like take on more responsibility and try
- 13:09Speaker 1: and do more things and in less time, no, assuming
- 13:13Speaker 1: that they're not going to have one hundred years to
- 13:15Speaker 1: get everything done. Okay, So that is like the theory.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I don't know if that's been proven because for me,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I'm like, I have so many ex boyfriends who are
- 13:24Speaker 1: lazy pieces of shit who did nothing. So I'm like,
- 13:27Speaker 1: I don't know how true that is for to say,
- 13:29Speaker 1: for an entire population, Uh huh, just deadbeat assholes, dead
- 13:33Speaker 1: beats lining the gutters something.
- 13:36Speaker 2: A hobosexualist excuse.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Me, No, this is like you're gonna surprise me with
- 13:45Speaker 1: this and then next week we're gonna have to have
- 13:46Speaker 1: the hobosexual specialist on the show.
- 13:50Speaker 2: So a hobosexual is it's usually a man. It's usually
- 13:55Speaker 2: a man who is in a relationship with a woman
- 13:57Speaker 2: and the guy is a loser, right and basically he's
- 14:03Speaker 2: hanging on to you, the woman, because he's got nowhere
- 14:06Speaker 2: else to go. He's a hobo, right, So he's a
- 14:09Speaker 2: hobo sexual. I can feel I can feel them on
- 14:17Speaker 2: this video. I mean I didn't make it. I didn't
- 14:20Speaker 2: make it up. I heard it somewhere and I thought
- 14:22Speaker 2: it was really funny. I've never before I think, you
- 14:25Speaker 2: know what I mean. I think that it's something that
- 14:29Speaker 2: i've heard on like you know, like social media.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Right.
- 14:35Speaker 2: No, so social media that's geared towards women, right, So
- 14:39Speaker 2: if that's not what.
- 14:41Speaker 1: It's a guy who's like with you for your money
- 14:42Speaker 1: and you're taking care of me is not working.
- 14:45Speaker 2: He's not working. The other thing that I that I
- 14:48Speaker 2: had seen once that said somewhere this morning, there is
- 14:54Speaker 2: a woman being driven to work by a man in
- 14:58Speaker 2: her car when he he goes back to her house
- 15:01Speaker 2: to not do ship.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I love the driving me to work, though I would
- 15:06Speaker 1: love a little ride to work. That's that sounds kind
- 15:09Speaker 1: of nice. Actually not do anything? Is it going to
- 15:12Speaker 1: clean up? Contribute a little bit?
- 15:13Speaker 2: He does nothing. He's a homosexual. It's like he goes
- 15:15Speaker 2: he he drops you off. Okay, he goes home, probably drinks,
- 15:21Speaker 2: probably smokes weed, and watches what's the sports show that's
- 15:27Speaker 2: on all the time. I know, it's the only sports
- 15:30Speaker 2: show like.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Sports sports Center.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Sports Center, Sports sports Center, Sports Center is on a
- 15:42Speaker 3: loop and the same ship over it's like every hour
- 15:47Speaker 3: and it just starts over sport.
- 15:49Speaker 2: No, it's like the same ship. It's like the same
- 15:53Speaker 2: twelve news items and it keeps on going.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I swear to that is like, Okay, so when I
- 16:00Speaker 1: get too high, I will watch the same thing over
- 16:02Speaker 1: and over.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I think, well, yeah, that's what I think.
- 16:05Speaker 1: That might be what's happening, That's what's happened. I was
- 16:07Speaker 1: on a I was a guest on a podcast. It
- 16:09Speaker 1: was an advice podcast, and so we called in and
- 16:11Speaker 1: their husband was home like Monday for like ten days
- 16:16Speaker 1: at a time and then would travel for work.
- 16:19Speaker 2: For just intent yeah gotcha.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but and he was doing nothing for the ten
- 16:24Speaker 1: days and that they were asking like what do we do?
- 16:27Speaker 1: What do I do with this man who's just like
- 16:29Speaker 1: hanging out for ten days straight?
- 16:31Speaker 2: He did nothing?
- 16:32Speaker 1: So and then that was like the thing was she
- 16:35Speaker 1: was kind of like, well, he does cook and he
- 16:37Speaker 1: does take the kids to school.
- 16:39Speaker 2: And I was like, oen, okay, yeah, it might be No,
- 16:42Speaker 2: it's a U problem. Yeah because coming from yay. Yeah,
- 16:46Speaker 2: because when you said that she was saying that her
- 16:48Speaker 2: husband did nothing. I thought he was sitting in his
- 16:50Speaker 2: underwear watching Sports Center. You know what I mean.
- 16:53Speaker 1: We have to talk about what's happening online right now.
- 16:56Speaker 1: It's Trump has decided the one person that his base
- 16:59Speaker 1: likes more he's going to take them on, and that
- 17:02Speaker 1: person is the Pope. I know that no one in
- 17:05Speaker 1: his base love Jesus the Pope and then him and
- 17:08Speaker 1: he was like, I'm going to go for one and two.
- 17:10Speaker 2: The best part though, is like, this is not a
- 17:13Speaker 2: pope like any other pope. This Pope is from Chicago. Yes,
- 17:16Speaker 2: and I, oh, this is the other thing I wanted.
- 17:18Speaker 1: From the South side of Chicago.
- 17:20Speaker 2: So he also, you know how I always say like
- 17:22Speaker 2: nothing can happen to me because I had the blood
- 17:24Speaker 2: of revolutionaries running through my vancs On Haitian. So the Pope,
- 17:28Speaker 2: Pope Leo is very distantly Haitian.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Really, yes, wow, I didn't know that. Oh, don't talk
- 17:35Speaker 1: with Asian people. It's like rule number one.
- 17:38Speaker 2: So I mean, and I just love and I was
- 17:40Speaker 2: looking to see what percentage of the of Americans are Catholic.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Is about twenty percent?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's a lot that's a lot.
- 17:47Speaker 2: That's a lot. And the majority of those Catholics are
- 17:50Speaker 2: white Catholics.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Comma, are many Christians really gnf about the Pope like.
- 17:59Speaker 2: They're they love not just Catholics, like a lot of people.
- 18:03Speaker 1: All Christians are like, he's our guy, He's the guy. Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 1: So I mean, I'm sure there's going to be one
- 18:08Speaker 1: weird sect of Christianity. He's going to be in the comments.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Being actually.
- 18:13Speaker 1: That we hate the Pope, and it'll be someone Yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 1: so sorry, Ezekiel out to the Distant Book of Jebediah.
- 18:26Speaker 1: But yeah, so here's the tea. This is a breakdown
- 18:30Speaker 1: of what happened. So Trump and the Pope started beefing
- 18:33Speaker 1: on the internet. Trump Trump did a photo of him
- 18:36Speaker 1: as Jesus.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Okay, so if it's the one that I think that
- 18:40Speaker 2: you're talking about right where he's yeah, correct, and he's
- 18:45Speaker 2: and he's over somebody laying hands on them in the backgrounds.
- 18:50Speaker 2: So I didn't realize this. So originally in the background
- 18:55Speaker 2: it's like three military people like soldiers with like their
- 19:00Speaker 2: you're on right, And then he changed it and so
- 19:04Speaker 2: there are two like soldiers and the one thing in
- 19:08Speaker 2: the middle is like a horned demon. And so here's
- 19:13Speaker 2: the thing. Do you hear what I'm saying? Don't I
- 19:16Speaker 2: sound insane?
- 19:17Speaker 1: But this is why I do disassociate sometimes and I
- 19:19Speaker 1: feel like I have to talk to my doctor.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Because I oh, yeah, right, he edited.
- 19:25Speaker 1: It and added a demon.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Correct and then also there's like light coming from his hands.
- 19:32Speaker 2: But here's the thing.
- 19:33Speaker 1: This is why I think over a certain age, you
- 19:36Speaker 1: should take a test before you should have access to
- 19:38Speaker 1: the Internet, because like a lot of this is like
- 19:40Speaker 1: when you know they take the license away from Grandma. Yeah,
- 19:43Speaker 1: it should be like that because they're the ones who
- 19:46Speaker 1: are clicking the fishing spot. I know, but this is
- 19:51Speaker 1: it's in charge of a lot. But like, got a
- 19:54Speaker 1: lot of responsibility. No, I know, he's famously important jobs.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he's President of the United States of America. And
- 20:02Speaker 2: so so he took it down. Yeah, he was interviewed.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Well, because everyone was his base was calling him the Antichrist,
- 20:09Speaker 1: of course.
- 20:11Speaker 2: But my favorite thing about this though, is that he
- 20:15Speaker 2: was asked he was like, oh yeah, yeah, I put
- 20:17Speaker 2: it up and I took it down. Actually, I really
- 20:21Speaker 2: thought that it was a photo of me depicting me
- 20:23Speaker 2: as a doctor or a healer. Because we're working with
- 20:26Speaker 2: the Red QUSS. I did trust it, and I thought
- 20:28Speaker 2: it was me as a doctor. Now here's the thing.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Let's say I'm willing to that's the kind of the
- 20:34Speaker 2: driving insane. Let's say I wanted to believe that he
- 20:39Speaker 2: thought that it was a photo of him healing people
- 20:43Speaker 2: like a doctor. You're not a doctor, though, Like, you're
- 20:47Speaker 2: not a doctor.
- 20:49Speaker 1: He's got a malpractice lawsuit. Now for.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Oh, oh, it's me as a doctor.
- 20:56Speaker 1: What what do you mean that's not your job. I
- 20:59Speaker 1: don't think so. Earlier're not supposed to be doing You're
- 21:01Speaker 1: not supposed to.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Like what.
- 21:06Speaker 1: But the for me, what was exciting, Well, I know
- 21:11Speaker 1: this is twenty fifth Amendment. But for me, what was
- 21:14Speaker 1: so exciting was so quickly the base turned on him.
- 21:16Speaker 1: They turned on him so fast. His own like maga
- 21:20Speaker 1: red hat owning people were like, oh, bitch, not this
- 21:25Speaker 1: this is the one thing we were They were fine
- 21:28Speaker 1: with the pedophilia. Sure, they were fine with the Epstein files.
- 21:31Speaker 2: They were like, well, we're okay with you getting rich
- 21:34Speaker 2: off of this. Sure, we love them, we love it.
- 21:37Speaker 1: A quick war, we'll send our kids. Yeah, however, now
- 21:43Speaker 1: you're beefing with the Pope, and that we cannot stand for.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It will not stand.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Cannot it will not stand stand. They will not sit
- 21:51Speaker 1: and this they will not die.
- 21:55Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus, not you jumping. They are
- 22:00Speaker 2: real Jesus. Oh my goodness.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Real Jesus. Well, the real Jesus. Please stand up and
- 22:07Speaker 1: let us know. Why would you add a demon if
- 22:11Speaker 1: you're the Red Cross? Yeah? Why is there a demon
- 22:13Speaker 1: if you're the Red Cross?
- 22:15Speaker 2: CJ. Don't ask questions, look at CJ asking logical questions.
- 22:19Speaker 2: What's HAPPENINGSJ again, Like I was talking about this the
- 22:24Speaker 2: other day, like the people who worship him, because they do.
- 22:28Speaker 2: There are people who really love this man, even if
- 22:31Speaker 2: they're not saying it out loud. Yeah, but Maga to Maga,
- 22:35Speaker 2: are you just like do you think he's okay? What's
- 22:37Speaker 2: going on?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Well, there's some real Tom and Jerry shit going on
- 22:40Speaker 1: in the White House lately because Mamania like she burst
- 22:44Speaker 1: out through a wall like the kool Aid man and decide,
- 22:47Speaker 1: oh yeah, and to give a statement about the Epstein files,
- 22:52Speaker 1: to go on the record. It truly is. Do you
- 22:55Speaker 1: know that meme where it's like people are talking and
- 22:58Speaker 1: it's like hello and it's Moan's voice. She just like
- 23:01Speaker 1: was like on a and she just like jumped in
- 23:04Speaker 1: interjected for absolutely no reason. No one was talking about Epstein.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Nobody asked you no, and no one was talking specifically
- 23:11Speaker 1: about her and Epstein. They were the whole world was
- 23:14Speaker 1: talking about the war in Iran, right.
- 23:16Speaker 2: So now she's what she's done is she's made it
- 23:19Speaker 2: so that more people were like, well, let me let
- 23:21Speaker 2: me google, let me see.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Was she kind of yeah, I'm not sure, let's let's
- 23:27Speaker 1: look into it. So then they asked Trump. They were like,
- 23:30Speaker 1: did you know she was doing this? And he was
- 23:32Speaker 1: like what now what? And so then her husband is
- 23:37Speaker 1: best friends with Trump, so like they're a four custom
- 23:41Speaker 1: a couple, two couples, their friends. The husband told Trump,
- 23:44Speaker 1: deport my ex wife this woman, Oh, had her deported
- 23:48Speaker 1: to Eastern She then was threatening. We found all this
- 23:52Speaker 1: out after Millennia made this random statement being like, I
- 23:55Speaker 1: don't know anything about Epstein. The friend was like, I'm
- 23:59Speaker 1: going to tell everyone the tea about Milania and Epstein.
- 24:02Speaker 1: But she did that after Milania's statements. So we then
- 24:04Speaker 1: found out why Milania made that seam as she was
- 24:07Speaker 1: trying to preempt it because.
- 24:09Speaker 2: She knew it was going to come out.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Yeah, And the whole vibe of her friend saying that
- 24:14Speaker 1: was very much like pay me to shut up. And
- 24:17Speaker 1: we still haven't heard what that friend was going to say.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I think we've just no
- 24:26Speaker 2: one is driving the bus. Yeah, no one's driving the bus.
- 24:30Speaker 2: The bus has got no brakes. Yeah it we're just
- 24:33Speaker 2: kareeming we're just going to careen into an account. But
- 24:36Speaker 2: it's okay, yes, exactly what is happening to us? And
- 24:41Speaker 2: you know, and nothing is going well.
- 24:43Speaker 1: And nothing's going well, Jadie Vance, I don't know what
- 24:46Speaker 1: psychologically is wrong with me where I have never been
- 24:50Speaker 1: more energized to my life like what happened. I truly am,
- 24:54Speaker 1: like on the therapist sofa, like what happened to me
- 24:56Speaker 1: in my childhood, where I'm thriving in this chaotic environment.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I mean, I think you're very busy because of what's
- 25:07Speaker 2: the state of the United States, and you are very
- 25:11Speaker 2: invested in the work that you do every.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Damn like, oh, a new Diva video. I can easily
- 25:16Speaker 1: make one.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Off of this Trump twice exactly, and you know, so
- 25:19Speaker 2: it's not only are you just generally busy with your
- 25:22Speaker 2: regular work, but it's also providing you with content, right, Like,
- 25:27Speaker 2: do you know what I mean? It's all it's all content,
- 25:29Speaker 2: the exactly, And I think that's that's a part of
- 25:32Speaker 2: the reason why you're energized, because you are busy, and
- 25:36Speaker 2: you are trying really hard to do good things for people,
- 25:39Speaker 2: and you know, and you don't want to fuck it up, right,
- 25:41Speaker 2: So yeah.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I don't want to suck it up. I also think
- 25:43Speaker 1: that like Court's been crazy, right, but I'm also seeing
- 25:48Speaker 1: wins everywhere, Like there are a lot of I think,
- 25:52Speaker 1: the crazier it gets, it's usually crazy for this administration
- 25:59Speaker 1: because they've like kicked a hornet's nest or tried to
- 26:02Speaker 1: do something or whatever. And there are more and more
- 26:06Speaker 1: people that I'm seeing in the federal courts and in
- 26:09Speaker 1: the immigration system who are clapping back or doing something
- 26:15Speaker 1: in response to the right it's a house of cards
- 26:19Speaker 1: that we're sort of dealing with right now. And so
- 26:22Speaker 1: as where as that's sort of crumbling, more and more
- 26:27Speaker 1: people are dog piling, and so I do see these
- 26:29Speaker 1: like little moments, these windows in what feels often feels
- 26:34Speaker 1: like a fascist, totalitarian institution. When I have to go
- 26:38Speaker 1: to court and work on certain cases. But then I
- 26:42Speaker 1: see these little clement where I'm like, oh wow, it's
- 26:45Speaker 1: been dark for so long, right and someone just opened
- 26:48Speaker 1: like the mousehole.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a glimmer of lights.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, cool. I can kind of see. But
- 26:54Speaker 1: not everyone gets those moments to see that. So I
- 26:56Speaker 1: have all this energy and then everyone around me is
- 26:58Speaker 1: like collapsing in the street.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Because it's just it's so appalling, and you just feel
- 27:03Speaker 2: like it's just going to get worse. It is, and
- 27:07Speaker 2: I think it will get worse before it gets better.
- 27:10Speaker 2: He's not done.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Something is going to happen at the midterms. What there
- 27:14Speaker 1: will be ICE presence at the midterm election at the booths? Absolutely,
- 27:18Speaker 1: that is my prediction. Absolutely. He sent ICE agents to
- 27:24Speaker 1: airports within hours. They were there overnight. There was no
- 27:29Speaker 1: congressional approval there, they had the funding and he decided
- 27:33Speaker 1: and there they were. So the notion that he's not
- 27:37Speaker 1: going to do that in Georgia, but he's not going
- 27:40Speaker 1: to do that in a key battleground state is it's
- 27:44Speaker 1: who are you fooling? You're in denial if you don't
- 27:47Speaker 1: think that's going to happen. Speaking to you Congress people. Right, So,
- 27:52Speaker 1: I think that we're going to see something happen. Will
- 27:56Speaker 1: it affect the outcome, I don't know, but there will
- 27:59Speaker 1: be some form of ICE voter intimidation at the poles
- 28:02Speaker 1: for sure. And I think people think, oh, well, undocumented
- 28:06Speaker 1: people shouldn't be voting, they're not supposed to be voting. Yes,
- 28:09Speaker 1: that's absolutely true.
- 28:10Speaker 2: That is true.
- 28:11Speaker 1: However, there are a lot of documented people who can
- 28:14Speaker 1: vote who are afraid of ICE. Yes, they actually, I
- 28:17Speaker 1: would say, like most of them. Yeah, right, black and
- 28:19Speaker 1: brown people because.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Imic people, ICE grabs and asks questions later. Oh yes, right.
- 28:27Speaker 1: So literally, I would say a third of my clients
- 28:30Speaker 1: right now are people who have immigration status and I'm
- 28:33Speaker 1: trying to get them out of removal proceedings right because
- 28:36Speaker 1: they were picked up for being brown they went to Yeah. Absolutely,
- 28:41Speaker 1: So we know that this organization ICE has no problem
- 28:46Speaker 1: picking people up, shooting white people in the face. Like.
- 28:50Speaker 1: So the notion that he's not going to use them is.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Just as his sort of personal his personal like his
- 28:56Speaker 2: secret police or absolutely.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Yeah, literally, yes, So we do have the luxury of
- 29:02Speaker 1: time as we march towards the midterm elections. So I
- 29:06Speaker 1: want us all to be pressuring our representatives to do.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Something, to do, to stand up, to stand up.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah about voter suppression. It is so important. We're watching everything,
- 29:18Speaker 1: like so many there is. There's such a blue wave
- 29:21Speaker 1: right now in America. All these special elections are turning around.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Are you watching some of It's unbelievable.
- 29:27Speaker 2: It is, and it is encouraging. And like you said,
- 29:30Speaker 2: I have to remember that these are the little glimmers
- 29:33Speaker 2: of light right that people are and also people who
- 29:36Speaker 2: were Trump supporters who are now who were saying, I
- 29:40Speaker 2: voted for him three times. And you know what, I
- 29:44Speaker 2: am disappointed. He has disappointed me. And I think that
- 29:49Speaker 2: you know, all the things that he said that he
- 29:51Speaker 2: was going to do, right, he was going to lower
- 29:54Speaker 2: grocery prices more expensive than ever. He wasn't going to
- 29:57Speaker 2: go to war here we are price he was going
- 30:01Speaker 2: to you know, deal with the Epstein stuff.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:05Speaker 2: So all the things that he said that he was
- 30:07Speaker 2: going to do, he hasn't and they've completely turned around.
- 30:11Speaker 2: And I think people are like, you know what, he's bullshit.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so it is. There is so much change happening.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I just want us to keep our foot on the
- 30:23Speaker 1: necks of our representatives to make sure that voters aren't
- 30:27Speaker 1: suppressed this fall, because it's coming up. We're all going
- 30:30Speaker 1: to go enjoy summer and then it's going to be
- 30:33Speaker 1: here before we know it. So like now really is
- 30:35Speaker 1: the time?
- 30:36Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 30:36Speaker 1: Do you see the the guy at the Courtyard Marriott
- 30:40Speaker 1: drinking wine. He's on a work trip at the Courtyard
- 30:43Speaker 1: Marriotte in Westbury, New York, on Long Island, and the
- 30:48Speaker 1: the the lobby bar keeps pouring him like huge pores
- 30:53Speaker 1: of white wine.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Like mugs of white wine.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Okay, every single day he updates the Internet about his
- 31:00Speaker 1: glass of wine. This is so niche. This is like
- 31:02Speaker 1: my curated algorithm. But if you know, you know there
- 31:07Speaker 1: is people are just posting photos of huge glasses of
- 31:10Speaker 1: white wine all over my feed now because of this
- 31:12Speaker 1: one guy who's at the Courtyard Courtyard Marriyout in West
- 31:16Speaker 1: New York on a work trip, getting drunk in the.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Lobby getting wine wine lobby bar. I wonder if it's
- 31:25Speaker 2: and then oh it's peanutree show, okay, thanks, and the
- 31:28Speaker 2: bar closes at ten pm. So he goes at nine
- 31:31Speaker 2: fifty five and she.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Look look look, look, look, look look look fills that
- 31:35Speaker 1: all the way up the wine glass to is she's
- 31:37Speaker 1: trying to empty out the bottle because he's like, I'm
- 31:41Speaker 1: in Westbury, New York for for a work trip. Huh,
- 31:44Speaker 1: I'm going to get drunk.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Going to get drunk every night. Please fill up my
- 31:48Speaker 1: glass of fly. Okay, all right, let's take a break.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Let's get into under oath. This is a deep dive
- 31:57Speaker 1: into a topic of what's happening right now now. I
- 32:00Speaker 1: think we want to talk about what's going on in
- 32:03Speaker 1: the Hungry election, which the results came back yesterday.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I know, and they were very exciting. They were exciting.
- 32:09Speaker 2: We're happy for them. I think what's really interesting is
- 32:12Speaker 2: how shocked Oban was like he was just like like
- 32:19Speaker 2: he was just like, really you sure? I wonder if
- 32:25Speaker 2: that is going to be significant in the sense of, like,
- 32:30Speaker 2: are we seeing like the winds change a little bit
- 32:32Speaker 2: that people are like pushing back on that kind of thing.
- 32:36Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 32:36Speaker 1: I hope? So yeah, I am like very hopeful, but
- 32:42Speaker 1: I have also been like beaten with a stick, So
- 32:47Speaker 1: I feel like maybe like hopeful asterist, let's cover, let's
- 32:54Speaker 1: like go through it, because I actually didn't follow it
- 32:56Speaker 1: super close, and then I kind of was late to
- 32:59Speaker 1: the party. So after sixteen years in power, Victor Orbon
- 33:02Speaker 1: and his party were defeated in a historic election.
- 33:06Speaker 2: And they were slaughtered. Yeah, it was a shall lacking, right,
- 33:10Speaker 2: It wasn't close. It was overwhelming. The loss was overwhelming.
- 33:16Speaker 2: And this is what I was saying. He was he
- 33:19Speaker 2: seemed so taken aback by it.
- 33:21Speaker 1: It has ended one of Europe's most entrenched populist governments.
- 33:26Speaker 2: But I read earlier also was that for the first
- 33:29Speaker 2: time the people who came out to vote it was
- 33:34Speaker 2: something like eighty percent of the population. It's a huge,
- 33:38Speaker 2: huge number.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Massive public engagement, is what I'm seeing. And I feel
- 33:42Speaker 1: like this is happening in America too. Right, there's an
- 33:45Speaker 1: analog here where we can say that so much of
- 33:49Speaker 1: new policy and administration in America is affecting populations that
- 33:54Speaker 1: wasn't affecting them before. Right. Everyone has to drive to work,
- 33:57Speaker 1: everyone has to pay at the pump, everyone has to
- 33:59Speaker 1: buy groceries. And so even these even you know, the
- 34:04Speaker 1: ignorant people who are like, well, I'm not political. Your
- 34:06Speaker 1: existence is political. It always has been. You're now more acutely.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Aware of maybe you're feeling it more.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Yeah, And so I think that you know, that eighty
- 34:14Speaker 1: percent turnout in Hungary is directly related to, I think,
- 34:18Speaker 1: what we can expect in the midterms and in the
- 34:20Speaker 1: next primary election in the US, because so much of
- 34:24Speaker 1: the new policies in America are hitting populations that just
- 34:28Speaker 1: weren't feeling politics traditionally before, right, people of color, gay people,
- 34:33Speaker 1: we've always been acutely aware of what's going on in politics.
- 34:36Speaker 1: We have to be because legislation literally is deciding whether
- 34:39Speaker 1: we live or die contexts. So that eighty percent, I think,
- 34:44Speaker 1: is like an interesting marker of what could potentially happen
- 34:47Speaker 1: in the US.
- 34:48Speaker 2: I think the other thing that my understanding of what
- 34:51Speaker 2: was happening in Hungary is that the people just sort
- 34:54Speaker 2: of finally had enough. Yes, right, that people of Hungary
- 34:59Speaker 2: were really struggling with poverty.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Yes.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Meanwhile, he had, you know, like a zoo in his home, right,
- 35:06Speaker 2: So if you if you have like a pet peacock
- 35:08Speaker 2: or you know, a zebra, but you're expecting me to
- 35:12Speaker 2: not be able to feed my family, Eventually, enough is
- 35:16Speaker 2: going to be enough, and I'm going to figure out
- 35:18Speaker 2: a way to rebel I.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Mean these are A to B comparisons, right, Like we
- 35:22Speaker 1: can compare the Zoo to the New White House ballroom.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Right and the and the his arc. What you didn't
- 35:29Speaker 2: see the arc? No, it looks like it looks like Trump.
- 35:34Speaker 2: It looks like I.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Thought this was in Hungary. And this is why I
- 35:38Speaker 1: don't go to DC. That's why I hate going to
- 35:40Speaker 1: d C. What is that? That's Washington Square Park.
- 35:43Speaker 2: It's not Washington Square Park. It's the arc that Trump
- 35:45Speaker 2: wants to build in the Potomac as a monument to himself.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I mean the audacity, the audacity of Hope, the audacity
- 35:57Speaker 1: of Trump to build a monument to I mean, did
- 36:01Speaker 1: you see wait, did you see the like vigilante artists
- 36:03Speaker 1: who made Trump and Epstein embracing like the Titanic and
- 36:07Speaker 1: put it no, it's huge, and then put it right
- 36:12Speaker 1: by the uh like the Washington Monument.
- 36:18Speaker 2: I love that. No, I didn't see it.
- 36:20Speaker 1: They like did it overnight? Yeah? But I think like
- 36:22Speaker 1: the direct connection to what's happening, what happened in the
- 36:25Speaker 1: Hungry election is that it wasn't that who was running
- 36:30Speaker 1: was very compelling. And let's face it, going into an
- 36:33Speaker 1: election with we don't. I don't know. What do you
- 36:37Speaker 1: know of any Democratic potential candidates who are blowing your
- 36:41Speaker 1: socks off? Because I am for me, it's Gavin Newsom,
- 36:43Speaker 1: is all I've really heard.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'm like, okay, but we you know, I
- 36:47Speaker 2: not very excited, not super excited. I think I think
- 36:52Speaker 2: desperation has set in.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Right, So it's it's like what we did with Biden, Right,
- 36:59Speaker 2: we really thought we were like, all right, uncle Joe,
- 37:01Speaker 2: come in to save us. We needed saving, right, And
- 37:04Speaker 2: I kept on saying like he is going to be
- 37:07Speaker 2: for people who watched Game of Thrones President Hodor, right,
- 37:10Speaker 2: like he was just going to hold the door. That's
- 37:12Speaker 2: what he was going to do. Is it too soon?
- 37:14Speaker 1: So for that sorry god, but devastating episode ten years.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Ago, But that's what we thought he was going to do.
- 37:23Speaker 2: And we watched him get older and sort of feeling
- 37:26Speaker 2: like maybe he's not as with it as he supposed
- 37:28Speaker 2: to be, and also thinking that Kamala was going to
- 37:32Speaker 2: sort of like do something to make us more excited
- 37:36Speaker 2: about her.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Instead they were like, Kamala, you're in charge of the border.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Right, fix that. Fix that. She was it's an impossible
- 37:44Speaker 2: an impossible task.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Right then we had Brad Summer, which is like, how
- 37:48Speaker 1: if you can't win with broad Summer, you can't. You
- 37:52Speaker 1: shouldn't be running. She talked about running again. You think
- 37:54Speaker 1: she's going to run again?
- 37:55Speaker 2: She said she had said that she wasn't. And then
- 37:58Speaker 2: recently I heard that there's something.
- 38:00Speaker 1: And the thing about it is the TikTok impersonators of
- 38:04Speaker 1: Kamala's voice.
- 38:05Speaker 2: The thing about it was the reason why once Biden
- 38:09Speaker 2: dropped out again desperation and we were like okay, Kamala
- 38:15Speaker 2: and we were all in behind.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I was excited.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Was I was excited because she was all that we had.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean she's a prosecutor.
- 38:22Speaker 2: So she was all that she was all that we had.
- 38:25Speaker 2: And now that's what I'm so disappointed about the Democratic Party,
- 38:29Speaker 2: Like there's.
- 38:30Speaker 1: No investment in the next Yeah, there's no.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Star, right, there's like there isn't anybody who I'm like, yes, yes,
- 38:39Speaker 2: that is the person that is who we need.
- 38:41Speaker 1: And so I think what happened in Hungary was it
- 38:43Speaker 1: wasn't that may Yard, it wasn't that he was so extraordinary.
- 38:48Speaker 1: It was that people were so frustrated. Correct, And I
- 38:51Speaker 1: wonder if that's what Democratic DANC leadership is going to
- 38:56Speaker 1: be thinking as they're getting ready for the next election.
- 38:59Speaker 2: I hate that. Though I know I want to be
- 39:03Speaker 2: excited about the product.
- 39:04Speaker 1: I don't want to be the prom date that you
- 39:06Speaker 1: pick because everyone else said.
- 39:08Speaker 2: No, or like, you know, you're doing somebody a favor.
- 39:11Speaker 1: It's like Hermione when Ron asked Hermione after he asked
- 39:14Speaker 1: everyone else, no, he didn't go to the Yeah, he
- 39:18Speaker 1: asked Flair to go to the duel ball, and then
- 39:20Speaker 1: Hermione was like, actually, actually I got I got a date. Yeah,
- 39:24Speaker 1: So I feel like, are we going to Is that
- 39:28Speaker 1: what we're going to do with our next election? Guys like, that's.
- 39:30Speaker 2: What it feels like.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't.
- 39:32Speaker 2: I'm not you know, I'm not hearing anything.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I'm not hearing anything.
- 39:36Speaker 2: I'm not hearing anything. All I see is Gavin sort
- 39:38Speaker 2: of coming.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Out tuning my ear piece.
- 39:42Speaker 2: I'm here, I'm not hearing anything. It's just Gavin coming
- 39:45Speaker 2: out over and over again, and it's it's he's fine.
- 39:50Speaker 1: There are so many problems with Gavin Newsom.
- 39:52Speaker 2: There are, but who else right now? Who else is there?
- 39:57Speaker 1: Right? Oh? Wait? What happened with that guy? I'm totally
- 40:00Speaker 1: blanking on his name. He's running, he was running for election,
- 40:04Speaker 1: sexual accusations republic He was like, I'm not stepping down,
- 40:09Speaker 1: and he did, and he did, and Republicans were like,
- 40:11Speaker 1: we're going to come for you. And then he'd stepped down.
- 40:13Speaker 2: He stepped down.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Eric Swawell, Yes, Eric, Yes.
- 40:18Speaker 2: And I didn't know who he was. You know, I
- 40:20Speaker 2: didn't know who he wasn't.
- 40:21Speaker 1: I had to explain it, man, explain it to me. Really,
- 40:24Speaker 1: I'm in a same sex relationship. There's twice as much
- 40:26Speaker 1: man's plaining.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Sorry to hear that.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Yeah, everything gets man'splained in this house. In this house, we.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Believe that man's plaining is important.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Laugh man's plain.
- 40:38Speaker 2: But you know, I didn't know who he was. But again,
- 40:42Speaker 2: it was so disappointing, right, It's like, and the other
- 40:45Speaker 2: thing is, what does this mean? We are learning more
- 40:48Speaker 2: and more about mostly men. I'm not saying that it's
- 40:52Speaker 2: always men, but mostly men who are just abusers, right,
- 41:01Speaker 2: their pedophiles, they're sexually aggressive, they they're a rapist. They
- 41:05Speaker 2: you know what is that about?
- 41:08Speaker 3: Right?
- 41:08Speaker 1: Like?
- 41:08Speaker 2: I just wonder what it is about? Is it that
- 41:12Speaker 2: we're just learning about it? Because now we have more
- 41:14Speaker 2: access to information. Has it always been this way? Like
- 41:19Speaker 2: I was, I remember working with a woman, you know,
- 41:23Speaker 2: when Me Too came out, everybody came out with their
- 41:25Speaker 2: own stories of things that happened. And she said that
- 41:28Speaker 2: when she was a teenager, she worked at a bakery,
- 41:32Speaker 2: and she said that all the girls there was the
- 41:36Speaker 2: owners only hired young women to work there, and everyone
- 41:41Speaker 2: knew not to get stuck in the back with Joe
- 41:45Speaker 2: because he was and she was like every and everybody knew,
- 41:48Speaker 2: and like the girls would watch out, Hey he's back there.
- 41:52Speaker 2: I'll go with you, or don't go at all, or
- 41:54Speaker 2: whatever it was, And like women have always had to
- 42:00Speaker 2: learn how to circumvent that kind of thing, and it
- 42:05Speaker 2: is something, you know, I think if you sort of
- 42:08Speaker 2: throw something out take a poll. I want to say
- 42:10Speaker 2: that I started occasionally feeling uncomfortable by the male gaze
- 42:17Speaker 2: when I was like twelve or thirteen years old. Really,
- 42:20Speaker 2: and I'm not alone, I am not alone, and it's
- 42:23Speaker 2: it's sort of like walking down the street, you know.
- 42:27Speaker 2: And I think about this. The thirteen years old, I
- 42:29Speaker 2: was in my Catholic elementary school uniform, right and feeling
- 42:34Speaker 2: like a lecherous look, feeling it and not knowing what
- 42:39Speaker 2: to do about because I was a child, right And
- 42:41Speaker 2: what kind of a.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Grown you don't understand?
- 42:43Speaker 2: You don't understand, right? And what kind of a grown
- 42:47Speaker 2: man that's what he's doing? Yeah, you know.
- 42:52Speaker 1: And then incites like a trauma response, oh for sure,
- 42:55Speaker 1: and like a young mind right, like and it shapes
- 42:58Speaker 1: how your brain.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Develops one hundred percent.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Uh. I do think part of it has to do
- 43:03Speaker 1: with access to information now, like people, it's easier for
- 43:06Speaker 1: victims to connect with each other.
- 43:07Speaker 2: I feel like, yeah, it is.
- 43:09Speaker 1: And especially when you are a public figure like that,
- 43:13Speaker 1: like so many, it's easy for people easy you're for
- 43:16Speaker 1: people to come forward. I do love to see that
- 43:21Speaker 1: we are taking it seriously and we're listening to women,
- 43:23Speaker 1: because that isn't always.
- 43:24Speaker 2: The case, correct, correct.
- 43:26Speaker 1: We just saw it with Pam Bondi and her ignoring
- 43:29Speaker 1: hundreds of victims.
- 43:30Speaker 2: For you would and one would hope that as a
- 43:33Speaker 2: woman herself. No, and I hear you, but like that's.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Not a woman. That's a monster. Sorry, she doesn't get
- 43:40Speaker 1: to call herself a woman. That's a crazy bitch.
- 43:42Speaker 2: She's evil, No, for sure, for sure? For sure. I
- 43:45Speaker 2: mean it's like, but like Megan Kelly, for example, who
- 43:47Speaker 2: was talking about how you know Epstein, he liked them
- 43:52Speaker 2: barely legal, like.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Megan Kelly can eat it and die, like I truly
- 43:55Speaker 1: hope she gets hit by a bus and I want
- 43:58Speaker 1: to be there. No, I'm going to use some of
- 44:01Speaker 1: our camera points on that. I'm gonna how many negative
- 44:04Speaker 1: Karmera points? Is that in the name of.
- 44:06Speaker 2: The name of Jesus. I'm going to say that is
- 44:10Speaker 2: you were negative five?
- 44:13Speaker 1: Okay. If she's an I'm not going to be sad
- 44:16Speaker 1: about it. I think that's like negative three. I'm going
- 44:19Speaker 1: to negotiate it to three.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 44:21Speaker 1: You know, Oh my god, did you see the toilet
- 44:23Speaker 1: paper factory that burned down? No, Kimberly Clark, Oh my god,
- 44:28Speaker 1: Kimberly Clark. Great drag name. By the way, Someone take that.
- 44:31Speaker 1: I bet somebody has that because I decided mine is
- 44:34Speaker 1: Magenta Cartridge Low is a good one. One. Please talkwards
- 44:39Speaker 1: at the stage. Magenta Cartridge Low. So there is h
- 44:44Speaker 1: Kimberly Clark, toilet paper Miss Costco loves her Kirk. Yeah, literally,
- 44:51Speaker 1: the like number one toilet paper provider in America. They
- 44:56Speaker 1: a worker was so underpaid that he was like fuck this. No,
- 45:02Speaker 1: lit his lighter and lit this huge warehouse in California
- 45:07Speaker 1: that housed paper, like a lot of paper. It was
- 45:10Speaker 1: like the majority of their warehouse stock was in this
- 45:15Speaker 1: warehouse in California. Went up like well because it was
- 45:18Speaker 1: a powder Caius paper. Yeah, everyone got out, everyone's safe,
- 45:22Speaker 1: everyone's fine. And he said you should have paid me more.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Oh well, now he's going to jail.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Now he's going to jail. However, everyone online is like
- 45:32Speaker 1: fair wages. What's up with fair wages? That the Kimberly
- 45:36Speaker 1: Clark factory because now okay, so their share dropped four
- 45:41Speaker 1: percent at market opening. Yeah, and everyone is talking about
- 45:46Speaker 1: fair wages, worker rights at the Kimberly Clark factories. It
- 45:50Speaker 1: got so bad he burned it to the ground.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, But I mean I think it goes
- 45:54Speaker 2: along with what we've been saying, like as a society,
- 45:57Speaker 2: we are not okay, we're not okay, we're not okay,
- 46:00Speaker 2: we're not okay.
- 46:00Speaker 1: But also corporations listen to us when we say, pay
- 46:03Speaker 1: us a little bit more so that we can afford
- 46:06Speaker 1: our I don't know, diabetes medication, so that we can
- 46:09Speaker 1: afford baby formula. Yes, like literally, just like the bare
- 46:12Speaker 1: minimum is what people are asking for, and everyone's like
- 46:14Speaker 1: shareholder value. Sorry, we're gonna put that over your well being.
- 46:19Speaker 1: And so I think like, sorry, I know there were
- 46:21Speaker 1: so off topic, but I feel like to us, really
- 46:27Speaker 1: it reminded me. I had a friend who had a
- 46:30Speaker 1: performance review at work and it didn't go well. Okay,
- 46:35Speaker 1: it was like a mid performance review, and this person
- 46:38Speaker 1: had done like such a ton of work, ate a
- 46:41Speaker 1: lot of shit for the company, and they gave her
- 46:43Speaker 1: like a mid They gave her like the middle of
- 46:46Speaker 1: the road, and so she quit in the performance review
- 46:50Speaker 1: right there. She was like, you know what, I actually
- 46:52Speaker 1: did a lot and I'm gonna go yeah. And the
- 46:54Speaker 1: manager was like, well wait, wait, we know we don't
- 46:59Speaker 1: don't quit. We don't need you, we don't want you
- 47:01Speaker 1: to quit. But but but but and she's like, no,
- 47:04Speaker 1: you just you had the opportunity to reward me for
- 47:06Speaker 1: my work, and you didn't. You had the opportunity to
- 47:08Speaker 1: tell me, good job. This is a really tough year.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I put it all in there, why it was tough,
- 47:13Speaker 1: how I went above and beyond. You still gave me
- 47:16Speaker 1: the five out of ten. Whatever. The score was, so
- 47:19Speaker 1: I'm going to go yeah, and management was devastating, Sure
- 47:23Speaker 1: they were. And it feels like that where it's like,
- 47:26Speaker 1: I don't know. It just kind of reminded me of
- 47:27Speaker 1: that of like, what's it going to take for you
- 47:30Speaker 1: to recognize that your workers need to be paid? That
- 47:34Speaker 1: this getting your shareholders a point zero two five percent
- 47:38Speaker 1: more on their dividend isn't worth the well being of
- 47:42Speaker 1: your employees.
- 47:44Speaker 2: Right. Did you see that Oracle laid off something like
- 47:47Speaker 2: thirty thousand people.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Oh my god, and they're going to replace them with AI. Now.
- 47:53Speaker 2: I don't know what they're going to do, but the
- 47:55Speaker 2: CEO got some kind of insane bonus package.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Yes, I think about that With Costco. I know Costco
- 48:04Speaker 1: and Kimberley Clark are connected, but Costco is like its
- 48:07Speaker 1: own company. I know they sell a lot of Kirkland products,
- 48:10Speaker 1: but Costco and I think it's Bjay's. Costco pays their
- 48:14Speaker 1: employees like extremely well, yes, and they stay for up
- 48:18Speaker 1: to a decade. I think it's like the average. Yes,
- 48:21Speaker 1: BJ's pays them nothing, and I think they stay less
- 48:24Speaker 1: than a year each employee. They're constantly cycling through people.
- 48:28Speaker 1: It's like how much are you spending to recruit people
- 48:30Speaker 1: like that?
- 48:31Speaker 2: I mean, I think they just think that people are dispensable, right,
- 48:34Speaker 2: it doesn't matter. Yeah, and so so just sort of
- 48:36Speaker 2: back to the spy. I was just thinking about this.
- 48:40Speaker 2: So you know what this means. The price of toilet
- 48:43Speaker 2: paper is going to go up.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a shortage. There's a shortage because of this,
- 48:46Speaker 1: like during COVID and like everything else, they're just going
- 48:49Speaker 1: to pass that four percent cost onto the consumer. Right,
- 48:52Speaker 1: So it feels like we're at a turning point. Sometimes,
- 48:55Speaker 1: it feels like we're in this moment where people are
- 48:58Speaker 1: fed up. They're the Luigi's of the world taking matters
- 49:01Speaker 1: into their own hands. There are people like the sky
- 49:03Speaker 1: at the Kirkland factory bringing it all down. We unfortunately,
- 49:08Speaker 1: and I don't want to get into a space where
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'm encouraging people. No, we're what we're doing, but looking
- 49:14Speaker 1: at the facts, looking at the numbers. The shareholders of
- 49:18Speaker 1: United Healthcare sued. United got together and sued because after
- 49:24Speaker 1: Luigi allegedly murdered because there hasn't been a conviction there
- 49:29Speaker 1: correct murdered the CEO, they started approving more claims and
- 49:34Speaker 1: the shareholders got together and said, no, you prove too
- 49:37Speaker 1: many claims. You're being reckless with our money. You've got
- 49:40Speaker 1: to be looking out for us in capitalism where the
- 49:42Speaker 1: bottom line everything comes down to shareholders, whether or not.
- 49:47Speaker 2: I mean, it's really interesting.
- 49:48Speaker 1: They got together and sued so because they proved too
- 49:50Speaker 1: many claims.
- 49:51Speaker 2: So they're proving too many claims out of fear. Right.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Literally the claim approval rating percentage went up after that.
- 50:01Speaker 1: So people online were like it worked, they said it
- 50:07Speaker 1: not me, Yeah, they were like it worked.
- 50:11Speaker 2: But I hate that. And I'm not saying that you.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Are very French. It's very French. It's like, let's set
- 50:21Speaker 1: it on fire. You know what, what if we burned
- 50:24Speaker 1: it down? What if we stormed that steel? Like it
- 50:28Speaker 1: really is, like it's a very French revolutionary it is coated,
- 50:32Speaker 1: it is let music sounds delicious. I'll take two, right.
- 50:38Speaker 2: I just I'm not saying anything new here, but it's
- 50:42Speaker 2: just it's very it's still disappointing and frustrating to realize that,
- 50:47Speaker 2: like this is what it takes. Yeah, it shouldn't take this.
- 50:51Speaker 1: There is a documentary called The Price of the Vote.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Oh the Hungarian.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Yes, his name is Aaron Timar and we're going to
- 50:59Speaker 1: sit down with him tomorrow. We're going to do a
- 51:01Speaker 1: special brief recess short. Yes, and so we're going to
- 51:06Speaker 1: release it as a short online. He covers this election
- 51:09Speaker 1: in Hungary extensively, so I want to hear from him.
- 51:12Speaker 1: So two point two million people watched this documentary in Hungary.
- 51:15Speaker 1: It came out two weeks before the election. That's a
- 51:18Speaker 1: third of their voting population. And people think it had
- 51:21Speaker 1: like this huge impact on voter turnout in this election.
- 51:25Speaker 1: So this documentary I think really changed the course of
- 51:30Speaker 1: the selection. It's kind of interesting. So we're going to
- 51:32Speaker 1: sit down with the director tomorrow. We'll release it as
- 51:35Speaker 1: a short, a little bonus episode. I'm looking forward to that.
- 51:39Speaker 1: So what are you going to wear cat sweatshirt? I'll
- 51:42Speaker 1: I'll wear a dog sweatshirt. You wear cat sweatshirt? I
- 51:44Speaker 1: don't think.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Oh I do have a cat?
- 51:47Speaker 1: Yeah, okay? Or I have my octopus sweater?
- 51:50Speaker 2: What's that?
- 51:50Speaker 1: People on the internet love it. When I when I
- 51:52Speaker 1: was in psychosis during COVID, I got really into crochet
- 51:56Speaker 1: and I crocheted an octopus onto a sweater during a
- 51:58Speaker 1: mental breakdown. Okay, but it's really cute.
- 52:01Speaker 2: I've never seen it.
- 52:01Speaker 1: It's like the best thing to come out of one
- 52:03Speaker 1: of my mental breakdowns, and people on the internet go
- 52:06Speaker 1: ape shit for it. So maybe i'll wear that.
- 52:08Speaker 2: I've never seen it.
- 52:09Speaker 1: You've seen it. I've posted videos in it. Are you
- 52:12Speaker 1: not following me?
- 52:14Speaker 2: Speaking of not following? Okay, so our show, Brief Recess
- 52:20Speaker 2: has its own social media presence that's relatively new. I
- 52:25Speaker 2: follow us, my mom follows us, my friends follow us,
- 52:30Speaker 2: A lot of you follow us. You know who did
- 52:33Speaker 2: not follow us? Michael Charles. Okay, am my defense, There
- 52:40Speaker 2: is no defense.
- 52:41Speaker 1: I manage that account, so it feels like me, so
- 52:45Speaker 1: I like switch between the accounts. I'm like posting and
- 52:49Speaker 1: then I go back to my account. So I just
- 52:50Speaker 1: never thought to follow myself. I was like, this is
- 52:53Speaker 1: it's just me. I got to take this. It's my lawyer. Yeah, hello,
- 52:59Speaker 1: it's my agent.
- 53:02Speaker 2: Unbelievable. Are you following us now?
- 53:04Speaker 1: I'm following it now because you called it out? How
- 53:05Speaker 1: did you even figure that out?
- 53:07Speaker 2: Okay, I'll see how I figured it. I actually, to
- 53:10Speaker 2: be fair, I did not figure it out. I was
- 53:13Speaker 2: in the comments and a comment or said, Michael's not
- 53:17Speaker 2: even following himself.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Who's that that? I bet it was. I bet it
- 53:21Speaker 1: was one of my friends. My friends are such bitches.
- 53:24Speaker 2: I love that though I hate them so much. And
- 53:26Speaker 2: then so I looked and then I went and confirm,
- 53:30Speaker 2: and I was like.
- 53:31Speaker 1: It does oh man, all right, well I'm following it now.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Someone really clocked my teeth.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Damn. Yeah, yeah, damn. It's really interesting people pay attention
- 53:41Speaker 2: to like weird internet stuff, right, I love that. I know.
- 53:45Speaker 1: All right, We'll be right back. Let's take a break.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Let's get into tales from the d MS. Let's talk
- 53:51Speaker 1: about all the wicked and wild, crazy, sometimes slutty things
- 53:55Speaker 1: you send me on Yeah, you could send it to me.
- 53:59Speaker 1: You could send it to the reef Recess account, which
- 54:01Speaker 1: I now follow. You can send it to our email
- 54:04Speaker 1: which is brief Recess at exactly rightmedia dot com. Or
- 54:07Speaker 1: you can record it through my link tree. It's called
- 54:11Speaker 1: speak pipe and you can record your voice and send
- 54:14Speaker 1: us your But we do like to analyze your voices.
- 54:16Speaker 2: We do.
- 54:17Speaker 1: We do want a voice memo.
- 54:18Speaker 2: A few things though. If you are sending us a
- 54:22Speaker 2: voice note, remember to be sure whether or not you
- 54:25Speaker 2: want us to like say your name, so try not
- 54:27Speaker 2: to include super personal information, right.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Yeah, totally, yes, only your social circuit, No, your homage,
- 54:35Speaker 1: just your credit card police. Okay, So this question is no,
- 54:41Speaker 1: wait what.
- 54:43Speaker 2: What I always say people? While Michael is a lawyer,
- 54:46Speaker 2: he's not your lawyer. You can't skip that part. You're
- 54:49Speaker 2: gonna get in trouble.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, don't skip that. I told you just quick
- 54:56Speaker 1: gaslighting so I won't be okay this do you want
- 55:00Speaker 1: to read this question for me?
- 55:01Speaker 2: Good day, wishing you a positive weekend? Question? Does US
- 55:05Speaker 2: customs have the right to take your phone when entering
- 55:08Speaker 2: the country as a random security check? That's a good question.
- 55:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:12Speaker 2: I was forced to give them my phone at foot
- 55:15Speaker 2: Lauderdale Airport. Yeah, and they held it for two hours.
- 55:19Speaker 2: They made me give them my password. Yeah, I was
- 55:23Speaker 2: held in the waiting area. They gave me my phone
- 55:25Speaker 2: back and just sent me on my way. I'm just
- 55:27Speaker 2: curious because I felt violated. This happened in January of
- 55:30Speaker 2: this year. Can they do that?
- 55:32Speaker 1: They can do that?
- 55:33Speaker 2: And do you have to give them your password?
- 55:35Speaker 1: You don't, Okay, So that's like the nuance okay, is
- 55:38Speaker 1: that under the Fourth Amendment you have a reasonable expectation
- 55:41Speaker 1: of privacy yeah, that is like the rule and Fourth
- 55:45Speaker 1: Amendment garlies where you come at me, because I love
- 55:48Speaker 1: the Fourth Amendment. Fourth Amendment. It's about your reasonable expectation
- 55:53Speaker 1: of privacy, Like the reasonable average person would expect that
- 55:57Speaker 1: what's on their phone is private. And this is like
- 56:00Speaker 1: what courts think a reasonable person would believe. It's not
- 56:03Speaker 1: you and me believing this right, this is what a
- 56:06Speaker 1: judge decides. But if your phone is password protected, a
- 56:11Speaker 1: judge and jury would then say, oh, yeah, that person
- 56:14Speaker 1: had a reasonable expectation of privacy on their phone. Therefore
- 56:18Speaker 1: they can't be forced to hand that over. But they
- 56:23Speaker 1: can still do it. They can still say, like, you
- 56:26Speaker 1: need to give me your pass code, and if you
- 56:28Speaker 1: give it to them, then you're basically waving your reasonable
- 56:32Speaker 1: expectation of privacy because you proffered your passcode when prompted. However,
- 56:39Speaker 1: there's no law, rule, nothing that says you have to
- 56:43Speaker 1: give it to them. You could say no, it's my phone,
- 56:45Speaker 1: it's private, I'm not giving you my password.
- 56:47Speaker 2: And what then can they do to you? Like could
- 56:52Speaker 2: they if this person had said no, yeah, would they
- 56:56Speaker 2: have been able to just keep this person?
- 57:00Speaker 1: Well, what this person hasn't told me is if they're
- 57:02Speaker 1: a citizen.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Right.
- 57:04Speaker 1: We have had reports of non citizen visitors to the
- 57:07Speaker 1: US getting the boot because at the airport, at the
- 57:11Speaker 1: airport sent back home. There was a big story a
- 57:14Speaker 1: couple months ago over the summer, I would say, of
- 57:16Speaker 1: a Norwegian tourist coming to America had a meme of
- 57:20Speaker 1: JD Vance's bloated face. Have seen that meme. I love it.
- 57:23Speaker 1: It's my screensaver, and so it was like puffy piller case.
- 57:30Speaker 1: And they saw it and they sent him back to Norway.
- 57:33Speaker 1: And then and then the whole Trump administration was like,
- 57:34Speaker 1: we never did that. That didn't happen. It happened, and
- 57:37Speaker 1: it's happened. There are other accounts of that happening. But
- 57:40Speaker 1: if you are a US citizen and you're coming to
- 57:42Speaker 1: the US, you are, like everyone in the US, regardless
- 57:46Speaker 1: of whether they're a citizen, has Fourth Amendment rights. However,
- 57:49Speaker 1: you don't have an absolute right to enter the US
- 57:52Speaker 1: unless you are a citizen. So CBP, Customs and Border
- 57:56Speaker 1: Protection can stop you right like review your document, look
- 58:00Speaker 1: at your passport, determine if you should come in or not.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Like they do have discretion there, which is why I'm
- 58:06Speaker 1: like is this person a citizen? If they are, then
- 58:09Speaker 1: you could have if you wanted to dig your heels
- 58:12Speaker 1: and not give them your phone. Say it's protected, there's
- 58:15Speaker 1: confidential information on there. It's none of your business, right
- 58:17Speaker 1: And the worst that they could have done is helped
- 58:20Speaker 1: them for a couple hours to look further into their
- 58:24Speaker 1: background in their own systems, gone through their luggage, whatever,
- 58:28Speaker 1: but not access to their phone. They can confiscate your
- 58:32Speaker 1: phone US citizens, they can't. They have been confiscating your phones,
- 58:36Speaker 1: the phones, and it's been worked. They're working through it
- 58:39Speaker 1: in the courts right now whether they can do that,
- 58:42Speaker 1: Which is why The Times did an article a couple
- 58:44Speaker 1: months ago, right after the shooting of Renee Good, the
- 58:47Speaker 1: murder of Verne, talking about how you should switch your phone,
- 58:52Speaker 1: power it down before you go through customs and border
- 58:55Speaker 1: protection if you're entering at a US airport, because it's
- 58:59Speaker 1: hard or for the CIA to access your information if
- 59:04Speaker 1: they confiscate your phone.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Gotcha. But do they need to give you a reason
- 59:07Speaker 2: why they're taking your phone from you?
- 59:09Speaker 1: I mean you can demand one, but no, like if
- 59:12Speaker 1: you come up bread in their system and they want
- 59:15Speaker 1: to take it, they can.
- 59:17Speaker 2: But like this person.
- 59:18Speaker 1: They can do it all in the name of They got.
- 59:20Speaker 2: Sent away like nothing, like nothing, what happened to this person?
- 59:25Speaker 2: They were sent away like they gave him, They gave
- 59:28Speaker 2: them the phone back and sent them away like nothing.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Meanwhile, you've been cooling your heel for two hours and
- 59:34Speaker 2: for waterdal.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Yeah, waiting for your to get your phone back. It's crazy.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I'm not saying it's right. I'm saying it's happening. Yeah,
- 59:42Speaker 1: and that no one's stopping them right now. Hm, Okay,
- 59:45Speaker 1: let's read some reviews then, Okay. I hope there's I
- 59:48Speaker 1: hope there's someone from Pennsylvania telling me that I'm a
- 59:50Speaker 1: stupid bitch and that I should kill myself because there
- 59:53Speaker 1: is not. Last week, I know what was her name
- 59:56Speaker 1: she was.
- 59:56Speaker 2: She came for us.
- 59:57Speaker 1: She was like, hey, you ugly horror. I was like,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Jesus crazy, Oh my god. Okay. From the Afroman episode
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: from Maggali Malbranch Melissa's mom, very nice show. I enjoy
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: watching you every week. Oh, I'm sure she's talking about me.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: She is talking about you. She's definitely not come so
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: to me, And I'm like, that's not my mother.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: There's no way she made an account on comment and.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: I don't like her user name.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: It's a little bit too I'm going to make her
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: change it because people are going to be messaging her
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: like I love her daughter or not. My mom's going
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: to be messaging her. Welcome Melissa to the family. I'm
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: so excited about the recent nuptials.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Oh man, oh my god. Okay. Last week's episode the
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: mount Rushmore DC Chaos show Me You're Pretty, says I

- 1:01:16Speaker 2: the Haitian mother. Look. It looks like something I've seen
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: in a gangster movie.

- 1:01:21Speaker 1: going to beat you with a sandal? Wowse your mother
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: loves this, loves this podcast.

- 1:01:29Speaker 2: is definitely my mom.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You don't have to be a relative to leave.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: You don't have to be a relative. But it would
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: be nice if more of my relatives, if more of
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: my relatives watched. Although I did see a cousin when
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: I saw a bunch of my cousins this weekend, and
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: my my cousin was just like I listened to it
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: all the time. She was like, you guys are really good,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: which I really appreciate.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Does Andre listen? Does your spouse her? Your other husband?
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: My other husband doesn't listen at all.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: And that's when I talk so much about him. And
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: he was like, I get that at home, you yapping
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: non stop.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: That's actually fair, because I do.

- 1:02:34Speaker 1: kind of like what, you're a cat person.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: I am a cat person, and I'll wait until he
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: catches me. He's like what, and then I won't say anything.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: I'll just back away.
