- 0:24Well, hey guys, welcome to Inspirations for Your
- 0:28Life.
- 0:28It's great to have you here.
- 0:30Today it is, yes, today is Tuesday.
- 0:33It's April 14, 2026.
- 0:37It is one day before tax day.
- 0:39If you guys didn't know that, taxes are
- 0:41due tomorrow.
- 0:43And everyone always asks me, you know, what
- 0:47time, and you need to have your return
- 0:51stamped before midnight.
- 0:54So 11.59 is still okay.
- 0:56It has to be postmarked by 11.59
- 0:58a.m. Now people always ask me, you
- 1:01know, does the post office stay open on
- 1:07April 15th?
- 1:09And, you know, that's a great question.
- 1:13Basically, you know, it depends on your area.
- 1:17I mean, to be quite honest with you.
- 1:19So let's say New Jersey, does the post
- 1:22office stay open?
- 1:25So says a lot of areas they do.
- 1:27So for example, let me just put here,
- 1:30I'll put our area here in Jersey.
- 1:33And it says here, so it looks like
- 1:39they do stay open late.
- 1:43If you're mailing your tax return this year,
- 1:44you're going to wanna make sure it's postmarked
- 1:46by April 15th.
- 1:49According to the IRS, more than 213.3
- 1:52million returns and other forms were filed electronically
- 1:55for the fiscal year 2020.
- 1:58Well, it was actually 2025.
- 2:01And that represented more than 70% of
- 2:04all the filings.
- 2:05So the question is, this is a great
- 2:07question.
- 2:08Which post offices will be open late in
- 2:13New Jersey, April 15th?
- 2:15Let's just check that out.
- 2:16Okay, so if we look here to see
- 2:21if any of them are going to be
- 2:23open tomorrow late, because that's probably what you
- 2:25wanna do.
- 2:25You can go to just, you can go
- 2:26to usps.com.
- 2:28I thought this was kind of important to
- 2:29do.
- 2:29So that's why I'm doing it.
- 2:32So tomorrow, let me just see here.
- 2:35Tomorrow is tax day and it's Wednesday.
- 2:41I'm just trying to find one that's confirmed
- 2:43because it's hard to find it.
- 2:46USPS post office open late on April 15th.
- 2:51Now I would also check, so it looks
- 2:54like, let me just see where it is.
- 2:56So tax day, looks like, post office don't
- 3:03need to mail it.
- 3:05Okay, so people that have to mail it,
- 3:07obviously.
- 3:08So post office hours on tax day.
- 3:13So basically the thing is not all of
- 3:15them are open.
- 3:17So you have to check.
- 3:20The postmark rules, first of all, could mean
- 3:22you seemingly you're on time.
- 3:23Mailed return could be considered late by the
- 3:26IRS.
- 3:26So make sure that you have all the
- 3:29proper stuff in or it will be considered
- 3:31late filing.
- 3:33Collection times can impact the postmark date for
- 3:35your tax return.
- 3:35So the USPS says mail must generally be
- 3:38deposited before the last collection time at the
- 3:41post office or the collection box on April
- 3:4315th to receive an April 15th postmark.
- 3:48So guys, they're really not saying much here
- 3:51this year about it, if they're gonna be
- 3:53open or not.
- 3:55What time is the tax deadline?
- 3:57Well, they're saying like 11.
- 3:58So that looks like it's not advisable to
- 4:03do it too close because you have to
- 4:04go to a line.
- 4:05So you wanna make sure you allow at
- 4:05least a half hour or more.
- 4:09And so it's not telling me, but it's
- 4:11saying most of your post offices will be
- 4:13open till midnight.
- 4:17So yeah, I would check out your location
- 4:20and find out if it is open, because
- 4:24not all of them.
- 4:26So again, there's a new USPS rule that
- 4:29could make your return late, even if it's
- 4:31mailed on April 15th.
- 4:33If you're one of the millions of Americans
- 4:35who plans to drop the tax return in
- 4:37a mailbox on April 15th, you need to
- 4:39stop and pay attention.
- 4:42A recent specific change in how the US
- 4:44Postal Service handles postmarks could turn your on
- 4:47-time filing into a costly mistake, triggering automatic
- 4:51penalties in the IRS.
- 4:52Understand this new rule is critical to protecting
- 4:55your finances in these final hours of tax
- 4:58season.
- 4:58So this change is part of the USPS's
- 5:02Delivering for America initiative.
- 5:04Previously, mail was often postmarked on the day
- 5:06it was collected from a mailbox.
- 5:08Now, the official postmark is applied only when
- 5:12the mail reaches and is processed at a
- 5:14regional sorting facility.
- 5:16This means an envelope dropped in a collection
- 5:19box on the afternoon of April 15th might
- 5:23not be picked up, transported, and processed until
- 5:27April 16th, resulting in a postmark that the
- 5:30IRS will deem late.
- 5:32So how the rule redefines it.
- 5:35So the IRS strictly adheres to the postmark
- 5:37date on your envelope as proof of timely
- 5:39filing.
- 5:40The new USPS procedure explicitly states that the
- 5:43postmark reflects the date an automated machine first
- 5:47processes the mail, not when you hand it
- 5:49to a carrier.
- 5:50So let me say that again.
- 5:51So the new USPS procedure explicitly states the
- 5:54postmark reflects the date an automated machine first
- 5:57processes the mail, not when you hand it
- 5:59to a carrier to place it in a
- 6:01collection box.
- 6:02So the operational shift creates a dangerous gap
- 6:06and the consequences are not trivial.
- 6:08If your turn is postmarked after April 15th,
- 6:11well, then that is gonna be a problem.
- 6:15So fortunately you can still file by mail
- 6:17on April 15th and guarantee an on-time
- 6:19postmark.
- 6:20The key is to get proof of acceptance
- 6:22directly from a USPS employee.
- 6:24So here are three things you can go.
- 6:26You can go to the counter, approach a
- 6:27postal clerk and ask them to hand cancel
- 6:29it out, very important, or apply a round
- 6:32date stamp to your envelope.
- 6:34This manual circular stamp is the classical postmark
- 6:37and serves the official proof of date.
- 6:39You can get a PVI label at the
- 6:41retail counter.
- 6:42You can pay for postage and receive a
- 6:44postage validation imprint.
- 6:46And this white rectangular sticker includes the date
- 6:49and is accepted by the IRS as the
- 6:51official postmark.
- 6:53You can use certified mail, often called the
- 6:55gold standard for important documents.
- 6:58Sending you a return by certified mail provides
- 7:02you with a stamped receipt.
- 7:03So here's another part we're kind of deviating
- 7:06for the show, but I know this is
- 7:06kind of important.
- 7:07So if I have a postage machine and
- 7:13it is stamped, okay, April 15th, will that
- 7:19be late or on time?
- 7:22So it's tricky because again, they've changed their
- 7:30rules.
- 7:32Okay, they have changed their rules.
- 7:34And so, like I said, the postage machine
- 7:39now, so you know this, is not considered
- 7:42an official postmark by the IRS.
- 7:44Let me say, your postage machine that you've
- 7:47had from Pitney Bowes or Quadient is not
- 7:52considered an official postmark by the IRS.
- 7:55So if your tax return is postmarked after
- 7:58April 15th, it may be treated as late,
- 8:01even if you mailed it on that date.
- 8:04To ensure timely filing, it is best to
- 8:06use a USPS counter service or certified mail
- 8:09for proof of mailing.
- 8:11And of course, keep those receipts.
- 8:12So I know the days that wasn't too
- 8:14long ago that you could actually go to
- 8:16the post office as long as it was
- 8:19stamped from the machine, because your machine could
- 8:22technically be the date, but the new rule
- 8:23says that you cannot do that anymore.
- 8:26So I thought I would share that with
- 8:27you because a lot of people are getting
- 8:28ready to file their returns.
- 8:31All right.
- 8:31So guys, if you are new here, I
- 8:33wanna take the opportunity to say welcome.
- 8:35If you've been here once or many times,
- 8:37of course, I wanna say welcome back.
- 8:38Thanks so much for being here, guys.
- 8:40Really do appreciate that.
- 8:41Before I do kick off the show, I
- 8:43wanna let you know, you could check out
- 8:44more of my great content at BelieveMeAchieved.com,
- 8:46that short form, long form articles and so
- 8:48much more.
- 8:49I also wanna tell you that very soon,
- 8:52on April 17th at 1.30 PM, I
- 8:54become an official author and my first book
- 8:57is being released.
- 8:58Now, what is the title?
- 9:00I'm not sharing that.
- 9:01The big reveal of the title will happen
- 9:03at 1.30 PM Eastern.
- 9:05This coming Friday, April 17th, there'll be an
- 9:07interview between myself and my two parents.
- 9:12Be asking some questions.
- 9:13It'll be an IFYL show, but we're gonna
- 9:14have a big segment on there about the
- 9:16book.
- 9:17We'll show you the book, actually give you
- 9:19the big title reveal, which everybody's been waiting
- 9:21on.
- 9:22And after that, you can actually get the
- 9:24book.
- 9:24So really excited about that opportunity, guys.
- 9:27All right, so let's kick this off.
- 9:29This is Inspirations for Your Life, in case
- 9:32you did not know that.
- 9:33Yep, that's the Inspirations for Your Life show.
- 9:36It is, ladies and gentlemen, it is Tuesday.
- 9:38And what actually changes thinking is series five,
- 9:41show 16, episode four.
- 9:43The master topic for this entire week is
- 9:45how people actually change their direction without realizing
- 9:49it.
- 9:49How people quietly change direction is not about
- 9:52one powerful idea.
- 9:54Nope, it is about repeat exposure, new inputs
- 9:57and patterns that slowly reshape how they think
- 10:00over time.
- 10:02Ladies and gentlemen, I'm John C.
- 10:04Morley, serial entrepreneur.
- 10:05I'm an engineer, marketing specialist, video producer, podcast
- 10:08host, coach, keynote speaker, graduate student, and a
- 10:12passionate lifelong learner.
- 10:15And soon, yes, I will be a published
- 10:17author if you are watching this before April
- 10:1917th.
- 10:20If you're watching it after April 17th, well,
- 10:23that means I am an author.
- 10:25So I'm breaking down something most people misunderstand.
- 10:30They think one idea will change everything.
- 10:32One insight, one realization, but that's not how
- 10:35thinking actually changes.
- 10:37Thinking changes through exposure, through repetition, through what
- 10:42you see, hear, and experience over and over
- 10:45and over again.
- 10:46You see, your mind, ladies and gentlemen, is
- 10:48not flipped by one moment like a light
- 10:50switch.
- 10:51It is shaped, okay?
- 10:53And molded by what surrounds it consistently.
- 10:56And it gathers that by what it sees,
- 10:58hears, touches, sees, hears, touches, tastes, and smells,
- 11:03and also the proprioception of our body, right?
- 11:05So these are important things to understand.
- 11:07Our first point is thinking.
- 11:09Thinking follows exposure.
- 11:11What you repeatedly see begins to shape how
- 11:14you interpret the world.
- 11:16A quick observation, guys.
- 11:18As I said, my book is coming out.
- 11:21And even though a lot of stuff, very
- 11:23true to me, it was all true story,
- 11:27and I lived it, the book became even
- 11:30more real.
- 11:31The concept became even more real and taught
- 11:34me more after I finished writing it.
- 11:37It was funny because I did all these
- 11:38things, but now they got accelerated.
- 11:41As Ember would say, they got kicked up
- 11:42a notch.
- 11:44Number two, guys, ideas repeat before they stick.
- 11:48A single idea rarely changes anything without repetition.
- 11:52Now, something cool I wanna share with you.
- 11:55So I have my Aura Water here.
- 11:56By the way, feel free to go grab
- 11:57yourself something.
- 11:58And I have some lemon in here.
- 12:02And a real neat thing about Aura Water,
- 12:05or any water, you put lemon in it,
- 12:06the lemon actually curbs your appetite.
- 12:08And it's really refreshing, especially after a long
- 12:11walk that I just had.
- 12:12Number three, guys, new inputs reshape beliefs.
- 12:16Fresh information challenges existing patterns.
- 12:21Number four, guys, perspective comes from contrast.
- 12:25Seeing different viewpoints expands your thinking and encourage
- 12:29you to challenge yourself and to learn.
- 12:32Number five, experience overrides theory.
- 12:38We've said that you can go to school
- 12:40and learn something, but if you can learn
- 12:43from somebody who's already done it, that's better
- 12:45than learning from books.
- 12:46Real world exposure changes thinking faster than ideas
- 12:50alone.
- 12:50I'm gonna give an example.
- 12:51So you can learn about a country.
- 12:53So I went to a lot of places.
- 12:54I was very grateful to going to Europe
- 12:56several times.
- 12:57One of the places I went was Italy.
- 12:59My grandparents took me on my mom's side.
- 13:02And people said, oh, you know, you're going
- 13:04to Italy.
- 13:04That's an amazing opportunity.
- 13:05But I never realized that what it would
- 13:09take me maybe several years to learn in
- 13:13books about Italy, I learned in just a
- 13:16month.
- 13:17Because immersion experience, that's how we learn languages.
- 13:20That's how we learn about cultures.
- 13:22Number six, guys, you believe what you see.
- 13:25Often repetition builds familiarity and familiarity builds belief.
- 13:30Number seven, guys, repetition rewires the brain, creates
- 13:33the neural pathways around.
- 13:35Consistent input strengthens certain thought patterns.
- 13:39It does.
- 13:40Number eight, understanding builds over time.
- 13:44Clarity is developed, not downloaded instantly like you
- 13:48would have with your computer.
- 13:51It's an awareness to how it's built and
- 13:54shaped, right?
- 13:56And molded.
- 13:57Number nine, guys, exposure creates awareness.
- 14:00You cannot change what you do not see.
- 14:02We don't see it, we don't experience it.
- 14:04Can't measure it, can't change it.
- 14:06Number 10, guys, awareness drives change.
- 14:09Once you notice something, it begins to, well,
- 14:12subtly shift.
- 14:14Number 11, thinking adapts constantly.
- 14:18Your mind is always adjusting to new information.
- 14:21Number 12, you update beliefs slowly.
- 14:25Most thinking evolves gradually, not instantly.
- 14:28I have to tell you that, not instantly.
- 14:30Number 13, new data shifts perspective.
- 14:33Additional information changes interpretation.
- 14:36One little piece of information, guys, can change
- 14:39your thought pattern, your belief about something, whether
- 14:42that is something big or something small, it
- 14:45can have a subtle shift.
- 14:47Number 14, guys, context changes interpretation.
- 14:52The same idea can mean different things in
- 14:54different environments, right?
- 14:56We've learned about context with certain words and
- 14:59using them differently can have completely different meanings,
- 15:01same idea.
- 15:02Number 15, information creates options.
- 15:06More input creates more possible directions, more opportunities.
- 15:11Number 16, guys, options create decisions.
- 15:15Choices expand when thinking expands.
- 15:20Number 17, decisions shape thinking.
- 15:25What you choose reinforces how you think.
- 15:30Number 18, thinking evolves with input.
- 15:35Your direction follows what you consume.
- 15:38Number 19, static input creates static thinking.
- 15:43Repeating the same ideas limits growth.
- 15:46Number 20, dynamic input creates growth.
- 15:50New exposure expands possibilities.
- 15:55New exposure expands the possibilities.
- 15:58Number 21, guys, variety expands perspective.
- 16:04Diverse input increases understanding.
- 16:07Number 22, narrow input limits thinking.
- 16:10When we narrow our pathway, we close off
- 16:14the potential opportunities.
- 16:16And when we get limited outcomes, that's a
- 16:19problem for us.
- 16:21Number 23, guys, insight builds gradually.
- 16:25It doesn't happen overnight.
- 16:28Clarity develops step by step.
- 16:32Number 24, you learn through patterns.
- 16:37Everything, whether it's language, whether it's a new
- 16:40skill, you learn by patterns because when we
- 16:42know how to do something, we try to
- 16:44adapt it to that and see how it's
- 16:46different.
- 16:47For example, if I taught you how to,
- 16:50let's say, screw a screw in with a
- 16:52Phillips head.
- 16:53Now I said, do it with a flathead.
- 16:55It's the same basic technique, but maybe you
- 16:58have to position the screwdriver differently, right?
- 17:00So you can get it in the notch
- 17:01as opposed to just pushing it down.
- 17:03So you have to be a little bit
- 17:03more careful of that, right?
- 17:06And you gotta be careful in a flathead
- 17:08that it doesn't slip off if you turn
- 17:09it too fast.
- 17:10It doesn't really happen with a Phillips head,
- 17:13all right?
- 17:14So you learn through patterns and repetition forms
- 17:16the understanding.
- 17:17And the understanding helps us to have new
- 17:20awareness, create new bridges to more information and
- 17:25to ask more questions.
- 17:27Number 25, guys, patterns reveal truth.
- 17:30Consistency exposes what actually works.
- 17:34What's consistent just exposes what works.
- 17:38Number 26, guys, exposure reduces bias.
- 17:42Seeing more reduces blind spots.
- 17:45Seeing more reduces blind spots.
- 17:48Number 27, guys, repeated signals become beliefs.
- 17:54Repeated signals become beliefs.
- 17:57What you hear often starts to fuel the
- 18:01truth.
- 18:02Sometimes people don't wanna hear the truth.
- 18:05I don't wanna say no because they don't
- 18:06wanna hear it.
- 18:07It's because they're scared of the outcome and
- 18:09what could happen.
- 18:11And that will probably be one of the
- 18:12biggest challenges for a lot of people, how
- 18:16that will work, what's gonna go on.
- 18:18I think that's a very interesting thing of
- 18:23what's going on and why it's going on.
- 18:28So that's a very, very interesting thing.
- 18:31Number 28, guys, beliefs drive behavior.
- 18:45Number 29, guys, behavior reinforces thinking.
- 18:51Action strengthen beliefs.
- 18:53Now, I know a lot of you here
- 18:55listening to me or watching the show are
- 18:58saying, John, you know, I get this, but
- 19:00for whatever reason, it's not clicking with me.
- 19:03That's okay.
- 19:05Many times when you hear something the first
- 19:08time or even the second time, it doesn't
- 19:11quite click.
- 19:13Maybe you've noticed this in some of your
- 19:15studies when you were in school or college
- 19:18or what have you.
- 19:18And the professor said something, but it didn't
- 19:21quite register upstairs.
- 19:23Had nothing to do with whether you're smart
- 19:25or not.
- 19:25It just, maybe they didn't present it the
- 19:27way that you need to see it.
- 19:29It just didn't click.
- 19:30And then maybe one night when you were
- 19:32with your buddies, that whole concept just clicked
- 19:35out of nowhere.
- 19:37Maybe you saw something that just caused it
- 19:40to click.
- 19:42And I think a lot of people today
- 19:47expect clicks to happen like.
- 19:52The truth of the matter is when we
- 19:54want them to happen over and over, like
- 19:55that, you know what happens?
- 19:56They don't click.
- 19:58They get harder for us.
- 20:01And when they get harder for us, it's
- 20:02like, oh my gosh, what am I supposed
- 20:03to do?
- 20:04What am I doing now?
- 20:06And I think that's a very big problem
- 20:09for a lot of people, right?
- 20:16I think that's a big problem for a
- 20:18lot of people.
- 20:20And I will tell you that this is
- 20:24something that many people will shy away from.
- 20:27And it's not because they can't do it.
- 20:31It's because they might become frustrated with maybe
- 20:34the environment that they're in.
- 20:35Maybe they are not just frustrated.
- 20:41Maybe they're not doing it because of something
- 20:45someone else said.
- 20:46And I said this to you guys before
- 20:48many, many times being on the air.
- 20:50No one has the right, let me say
- 20:52the word, no one, no one, no one,
- 20:55no one has the right to make you
- 20:57feel inferior about yourself except for one person.
- 21:00You know who that one person is?
- 21:02You.
- 21:03You're the only person that can make yourself
- 21:07feel inferior.
- 21:08No one else has that right or that
- 21:10permission.
- 21:11No one, guys, no one.
- 21:14So ladies and gentlemen, thinking shifts through repetition.
- 21:18Change happens through consistency.
- 21:21A lot of people want that consistency to
- 21:23happen right away, but it doesn't, and then
- 21:25they get so frustrated.
- 21:26Sometimes they give up.
- 21:28In closing, guys, here is the shift you
- 21:31need to make.
- 21:32Are you ready?
- 21:33Stop waiting for the one idea to change
- 21:36everything.
- 21:37That's not gonna happen because it won't.
- 21:41Your thinking is not built in a moment.
- 21:45Newsflash, it's not.
- 21:48It is built over time.
- 21:54Pathways are created, new observations are conceived, new
- 21:59questions are asked through what you expose yourself
- 22:06to.
- 22:09And it might be different each time through
- 22:11what you allow into your environment.
- 22:13Remember I said your environment is like priceless.
- 22:16So you've gotta be very careful about what
- 22:18you allow in your environment.
- 22:20That is key.
- 22:22Your environment can drain you.
- 22:23Your environment can refuel you.
- 22:26Do you know what your environment is doing?
- 22:27I mean, I'm just being honest about that.
- 22:30If you don't know about your environment and
- 22:33you don't really know why your environment is
- 22:36getting you to feel that way, well, you've
- 22:37gotta maybe figure that out first.
- 22:40It might be something where a light is
- 22:42placed.
- 22:42It might be the way a chair is
- 22:44turned or maybe the room that you have,
- 22:46you don't have enough to maneuver your fingers.
- 22:49Many of you guys know here where I'm
- 22:51set up at this station here, I have
- 22:53my laptop.
- 22:54It's all on a nice little stand with
- 22:56a fan.
- 22:57I have my nice MX Logitech keyboard that
- 22:59I can type, have plenty of room.
- 23:01I have my MX mouse and I have
- 23:04a lot of room.
- 23:06That's flexible.
- 23:07What do you need in your environment to
- 23:09feel comfortable?
- 23:13If you want to change how you think,
- 23:17this is a question, I'm not telling you.
- 23:18I'm saying if you wanna change how you
- 23:20think, how many of you out there wanna
- 23:22change how you think?
- 23:24You wanna change?
- 23:25You have to change what you see.
- 23:29You wanna change what you think, you have
- 23:30to change what you see.
- 23:31And not just what you see, guys, what
- 23:33you hear, what you touch, what you taste,
- 23:36what you smell.
- 23:37You have to change your world and the
- 23:40way it is being presented to you.
- 23:43That's key, guys.
- 23:45Change what you hear, change what you engage
- 23:50with, change what you see, change what you
- 23:54taste, you smell.
- 23:59And those are important things because the inputs
- 24:01you allow, and it's your choice guys to
- 24:04allow, become the thoughts you have.
- 24:09We said this before, what we focus on,
- 24:14right?
- 24:14The thoughts that we focus on, wherever we
- 24:17put our attention focused on those thoughts is
- 24:19where the energy is gonna go.
- 24:22You're saying, oh, I don't want that, but
- 24:24you keep focusing on it.
- 24:25The more you focus on it, the more
- 24:26that you're gonna gravitate that into your life.
- 24:29And that's important, guys.
- 24:30And the thoughts that you have become direction
- 24:35you take and the actions you take.
- 24:41So if your direction isn't where you want
- 24:44it to be, you have to start with
- 24:47your inputs.
- 24:48Let me give you a simple example here
- 24:51with doing professional audio recording and video.
- 24:54If my output is not where I want
- 24:57it to be, I need to adjust my
- 25:00inputs, right?
- 25:03I need to make sure that they're not
- 25:04garbage, that they're not gargled.
- 25:05I need to make sure of that because
- 25:08if I don't and the output comes up
- 25:11crummy, I'm not gonna be happy.
- 25:14So I make sure that my inputs are
- 25:16clean.
- 25:18And if I have to do any processing
- 25:19to it, I can.
- 25:21But if your inputs are lousy, output's gonna
- 25:23be lousy.
- 25:24And I'm just saying, guys.
- 25:26So start with your inputs.
- 25:29And you might say, John, what are my
- 25:30inputs?
- 25:30It's a great question.
- 25:31Could be your lighting.
- 25:33Could be the sounds around you.
- 25:34We talk about productivity music.
- 25:36It could be something as simple as what
- 25:37you're wearing.
- 25:39It could be the chair or the, you
- 25:42know, let's say, you know, the cushion you're
- 25:46sitting on, right?
- 25:47That affects you.
- 25:49Could be what you're smelling, the smell and
- 25:51the environment.
- 25:52You know, a lot of people have done
- 25:53tests on this where certain smells will get
- 25:55you to be more productive.
- 25:57Maybe it's what you had for lunch, right?
- 26:00So that's where change actually begins.
- 26:04And if we're trying to just say, well,
- 26:07gee, no, this is fine.
- 26:07I don't need to do this.
- 26:09You're missing a key awareness ingredient.
- 26:13And that is every part contributes.
- 26:16Let me see if I can give an
- 26:16example.
- 26:18If we're gonna add three things together, A
- 26:21plus B plus C equals.
- 26:24If I say A is two, B is
- 26:26two, and C is two.
- 26:28Two, four, eight.
- 26:30If I change C to four, two, four,
- 26:36right?
- 26:38So two, four, eight, okay?
- 26:44But if you listen to that, I wanna
- 26:46add them.
- 26:47So two, four, six is really the right
- 26:49answer.
- 26:50We have to know what the inputs are.
- 26:51Is the input gonna be adding?
- 26:52Is it gonna be subtracting?
- 26:53So two, four, six is the real answer.
- 26:56If I go two, two, four, it's two,
- 26:59four, eight.
- 27:02The inputs make the difference, guys.
- 27:04For more insights, clarity, and strategies to help
- 27:08you think better and act intentionally, I invite
- 27:12you personally to visit BelieveMeAchieve.com.
- 27:16Your next level starts with what you expose
- 27:19your mind to.
- 27:21You have a choice, ladies and gentlemen, of
- 27:23what you do, when you do it, and
- 27:25how you do it.
- 27:26Don't let your environment become this place that
- 27:31gets out of your control.
- 27:35Because just like we can control inputs on
- 27:38a mic or mixes for a show, you
- 27:41can control everything in your life.
- 27:44Now, I'm not saying to control others.
- 27:46I'm saying control the variables in your environment.
- 27:48Is that the lighting?
- 27:49Is that the cushion?
- 27:50Is that the position, right?
- 27:54Is that the way your computer's set up?
- 27:57Is that the clothing you're wearing?
- 28:00The temperature of the room?
- 28:02These are all key, guys.
- 28:03I'm John C.
