- 0:00Speaker 1: Always this step ahead of the news. Here's more Marks
- 0:03Speaker 1: amone on seven to tenoo Hey, it's almost Memorial Day weekend.
- 0:11Speaker 1: It's coming up this weekend. It's the beginning of summer
- 0:14Speaker 1: for most people. It's going to be this heat will
- 0:18Speaker 1: continue until about eight o'clock tomorrow night, but then it
- 0:22Speaker 1: goes into the sixties for the whole weekend. Looks like
- 0:24Speaker 1: rain Saturday and Sunday, but still be a great weekend.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Good things happening this week. Stephen Colbert will go off
- 0:31Speaker 1: the air Thursday night. That'll be it for him, the
- 0:35Speaker 1: show canceled, and he will in interviews or on the
- 0:41Speaker 1: show itself make it sound like he was pushed off
- 0:44Speaker 1: the air. It was pressure from the Trump administration. CBS
- 0:48Speaker 1: fired him, pressure from the Trumpet well, of course. So
- 0:52Speaker 1: it's a little kind of ridiculous to claim when you're
- 0:54Speaker 1: a disaster ratings wise, and you're losing forty to fifty
- 0:58Speaker 1: million a year, it doesn't take much pressure to get
- 1:02Speaker 1: a show canceled. That's losing up to fifty million a year.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It's been a total failure revenue wise. Ratings wise, you
- 1:10Speaker 1: could say, oh, it beats Kimmel. That's only because Kimmel
- 1:13Speaker 1: has the most pathetic ratings in the world. Jimmy Fallon
- 1:16Speaker 1: took the Tonight Show down to like one million viewers.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Greg Goettfeld three million viewers easily. Jimmy Fayala Saturday Night
- 1:23Speaker 1: his late night show. I'm sure beats that he's going
- 1:27Speaker 1: to do some weird shows to end his run. Last
- 1:30Speaker 1: night was kind of a strange show. It looked like
- 1:33Speaker 1: the normal show. You know, the announcer starts, and then
- 1:39Speaker 1: for guests, they didn't really have any games, like one
- 1:41Speaker 1: guest who they were not, we're all the guests, and
- 1:44Speaker 1: then they introduced him and he comes out like usual
- 1:48Speaker 1: and they show the audience. It's like, you know, three
- 1:50Speaker 1: hundred people in the audience and they're all standing, and
- 1:54Speaker 1: he had a little problem. They wouldn't stop applauding or
- 1:56Speaker 1: give him a standing ovation keeps you know, please sit
- 1:58Speaker 1: down and sit down, please sit down. It took a while.
- 2:02Speaker 1: They finally sit down these three hundred something people, and
- 2:05Speaker 1: then he announces it's not the regular audience. These are
- 2:08Speaker 1: all staff members on the show. These people all work
- 2:10Speaker 1: on the show. Now you know why he's getting fired.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Now you know how he lost fifty millionaire there's three
- 2:17Speaker 1: hundred people that work on the show. It was absolutely ridiculous.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Let's say they all brought a spouse, so that's one
- 2:24Speaker 1: hundred and fifty people. It was more than three hundred,
- 2:27Speaker 1: so it's like one hundred and seventy five people working
- 2:28Speaker 1: on this show. That's how you lose fifty millionaire. If
- 2:31Speaker 1: you're the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson way back when
- 2:35Speaker 1: and you got thirty million viewers, you could afford to
- 2:37Speaker 1: have one hundred and fifty people. If you're this guy
- 2:40Speaker 1: with one million viewers, you can't afford that. You're gonna
- 2:43Speaker 1: lose a fortune. Gottfeld has triple the ratings and the
- 2:48Speaker 1: whole staff is twelve people. That's it. There's no band,
- 2:52Speaker 1: it's twelve people. It's four chairs. That's the show called
- 2:56Speaker 1: bear massive theater, big or three hundred and fifty people
- 3:02Speaker 1: in the audience every night, which means you need all
- 3:03Speaker 1: the ushers and all that stuff. So all these people
- 3:06Speaker 1: work there. And then he announced he's not gonna the
- 3:08Speaker 1: reason they weren't a lot of guests, they weren't going
- 3:10Speaker 1: to do a regular show. They were going to do
- 3:12Speaker 1: not a best of they were going to do a
- 3:13Speaker 1: worst of they do these pre tape pieces and things
- 3:17Speaker 1: like that, and they decided they would show you all
- 3:20Speaker 1: the ones that never got on the air. Now, the
- 3:23Speaker 1: reason they never got on the air is they weren't
- 3:24Speaker 1: that funny. They stunk, And so it was a whole
- 3:27Speaker 1: hour and an hour show of bad things that never
- 3:32Speaker 1: got on the air. It's like when they re released
- 3:34Speaker 1: the album with the missing cuts. They weren't missing, they
- 3:37Speaker 1: just weren't that good. That's what the unreleased cut. There
- 3:41Speaker 1: was a reason they were unreleased. It wasn't that good.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So the final show is Thursday night. They're gonna do
- 3:49Speaker 1: one final show. There'll be a big rap pardon not
- 3:53Speaker 1: like music rap, I mean like wrap it up kind
- 3:55Speaker 1: of party after the show. They've told all the people
- 4:01Speaker 1: have invited, They've sent out invitations to it, and they're
- 4:05Speaker 1: gonna keep announcing all kinds of big surprise guests will
- 4:09Speaker 1: be on the show Thursday night, major major Nate surprise guests.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Our sources have come up with some of them. Paul
- 4:18Speaker 1: McCartney will be one of them. Billy Joel will be
- 4:22Speaker 1: one of them. Now, Billy Joel's not been well lately.
- 4:26Speaker 1: He said a lot of problems will be interesting to
- 4:27Speaker 1: see him in an interview. Apparently is well enough to
- 4:29Speaker 1: do this. Paul McCartney, both both these guys have been
- 4:33Speaker 1: on the Clbert plenty of times. They've been on Everything
- 4:36Speaker 1: plenty of times. They've been on They were on Kimmel
- 4:41Speaker 1: a million, they were on Fallon a million times. So,
- 4:45Speaker 1: Paul McCartney, the significance there is, of course, the Beatles
- 4:50Speaker 1: made their American debut right in that building, right in
- 4:52Speaker 1: the Ed Sullivan Theater. But if you go on YouTube
- 4:55Speaker 1: you can see it's Letterman. Letterman had Paul McCartney back
- 5:01Speaker 1: and they talked really in depth about the Ed Sullivan Theater,
- 5:04Speaker 1: and then McCartney and Letterman went on a tour behind
- 5:07Speaker 1: the scenes, backstage, the dressing rooms downstairs, to take a
- 5:10Speaker 1: look at all the things in the Ed Sullivan Theater
- 5:12Speaker 1: that McCartney remembered the first time around. I used to
- 5:15Speaker 1: do shows in the Ed Sullivan Theater before it became
- 5:18Speaker 1: the Letterman Theater. It was just an independent TV studio.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You could rent it for all kinds of things, so
- 5:22Speaker 1: there are a number of TV shows done there and
- 5:25Speaker 1: going around. This was before Letterman totally gutted it, renovated
- 5:29Speaker 1: it at CBS spent millions before that. It was like
- 5:33Speaker 1: the original Ed Sullivan Theater, and a lot of the
- 5:36Speaker 1: guys working there had been there for a million years
- 5:38Speaker 1: and would tell you about the Ed Sullivan days, you know,
- 5:41Speaker 1: so glamorous that show. They would tell you how there
- 5:43Speaker 1: were rats backstage and how pipes were like crumbling everywhere.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It was apparently a mess back then. But it's significant
- 5:51Speaker 1: to Paul McCartney and for Billy Joel. He's like the
- 5:55Speaker 1: huge Beatles fan, so it'll be significant to him. So
- 5:58Speaker 1: that'll be the goodbye tonight, and then hopefully you'll never
- 6:03Speaker 1: have to see this guy again. Now here's the interesting part.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Not only is the show a total failure, Colbert, not
- 6:09Speaker 1: only does it lose fifty million a year. The cancelation
- 6:14Speaker 1: was announced like eight months ago. Still nobody has offered
- 6:19Speaker 1: him another show. Nobody, no streaming company, no network, nobody
- 6:25Speaker 1: has offered him another show. It's been eight months now, silence.
- 6:31Speaker 1: His only job he is going to write is it
- 6:35Speaker 1: The Hobbit the movie. He's writing the screenplay for that.
- 6:38Speaker 1: But apparently he had a good idea for it, and
- 6:40Speaker 1: it was a project he pitched like a year ago.
- 6:43Speaker 1: So that was already in the works, but outside it
- 6:45Speaker 1: from that, nobody has offered him a job. What will
- 6:48Speaker 1: he do? Well, he'll work on this screenplay when he
- 6:51Speaker 1: gets done, and then when it's finished and the movie's
- 6:55Speaker 1: coming out, although that could take a while. But once
- 6:57Speaker 1: that's he'll run around doing a million interviews, MSNBC, CNN,
- 7:02Speaker 1: all that sort of stuff. Outside of that, I don't
- 7:05Speaker 1: know what else he'll do. He'll probably he could do
- 7:07Speaker 1: his own Instagram, YouTube channel release stuff all the time,
- 7:12Speaker 1: but he'll be on his own pretty much. You know,
- 7:15Speaker 1: the show, he's got like fourteen writers writing all that
- 7:17Speaker 1: stuff for him on his own. I don't think he's
- 7:21Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything there. You know. It's not
- 7:23Speaker 1: like the other hosts, where, you know, Carson writers would
- 7:27Speaker 1: write a mad libs and write the jokes, but he
- 7:29Speaker 1: could add lib like crazy. I've never seen an actual
- 7:32Speaker 1: Stephen Colbert ad lib that was actually funny. So I
- 7:35Speaker 1: don't know what he's going to do after that. Going
- 7:38Speaker 1: to be tough for him. Hey, the border, the US
- 7:41Speaker 1: border border crossings are so low right now, they keep
- 7:45Speaker 1: track of all this. Fewer illegals are crossing the border
- 7:50Speaker 1: in one month now, then in one hour during the
- 7:55Speaker 1: Biden administration. It's hard to believe, but it's been twelve
- 7:59Speaker 1: straight eight months, and the catch and release you know
- 8:03Speaker 1: where they could come across the border in a catch
- 8:04Speaker 1: and release them. It's been zero for twelve months, no
- 8:07Speaker 1: catching release for twelve months. That's pretty amazing. The lowest
- 8:11Speaker 1: level of crossing since the nineties. Catching release is over.
- 8:17Speaker 1: You know, back in the Biden days, the catch and
- 8:20Speaker 1: release was sometimes three hundred people an hour, three hundred
- 8:24Speaker 1: an hour, that's unbelievable. Three hundred every hour. It ended
- 8:29Speaker 1: up being like a million and a half a year.
- 8:32Speaker 1: It's down to zero. Pretty amazing for the Trump administration. Hey,
- 8:36Speaker 1: the big announcement that happened over the weekend and we
- 8:39Speaker 1: talked about it yesterday. The climate change hoax is pretty
- 8:43Speaker 1: much over. It was all orchestrated, and I mean Democrats
- 8:48Speaker 1: and a lot of crazy left wingers all jumped on it.
- 8:50Speaker 1: But the body that ruled on climate change was the
- 8:54Speaker 1: United Nations International Panel on Climate Change. That was the
- 8:58Speaker 1: official body that ran this whole hoax. And this is
- 9:01Speaker 1: where you got all the scenarios about the world's going
- 9:04Speaker 1: to overheat and burn up, and the ocean's are going
- 9:07Speaker 1: to rise up, and the glacier is going to be gone,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and all that stuff. Well, quietly over the weekend they
- 9:13Speaker 1: announced that those predictions are incorrect. That they said, they now,
- 9:18Speaker 1: for this century say that all those predictions are implausible,
- 9:22Speaker 1: which means impossible. They were depending on scientists, questionable scientists,
- 9:27Speaker 1: left wing scientists who depended on grants and where I'm
- 9:33Speaker 1: sure there were other reasons, but they were ginning all
- 9:36Speaker 1: this up to get more grants. But the official body
- 9:39Speaker 1: that rules this whole climate change hoax actually says all
- 9:43Speaker 1: these theories, all these predictions, all the stuff is no
- 9:47Speaker 1: longer valid. It is now they use the word implausible,
- 9:51Speaker 1: which means impossible. But people are starting to look back
- 9:55Speaker 1: on this. President Trump called it the biggest con job
- 9:57Speaker 1: in history. People are starting to study this whole thing now.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Apparently it cost trillions of dollars in damage to countries
- 10:05Speaker 1: all over. The economic damage is incalculable. Hundreds and hundreds
- 10:10Speaker 1: of billions, actually trillions were wasted worldwide on fake green
- 10:15Speaker 1: scheme programs, on forcing businesses to adopt all kinds of regulations.
- 10:21Speaker 1: It drove the price of everything up. You know, one
- 10:25Speaker 1: recent gas cars everything went up, all the regulations put
- 10:28Speaker 1: on them because of climate change. It destroyed the New
- 10:32Speaker 1: York economy. It caused crazy left wing governor Andrew Cuomo
- 10:36Speaker 1: to ban fracking. You know, we're sitting on a ton
- 10:40Speaker 1: of natural gas. Our energy costs would have been one
- 10:43Speaker 1: tenth of what they are now if he had not
- 10:45Speaker 1: banned fracking. He shut down Indian Point. That tripled everybody's
- 10:50Speaker 1: electric bill right there. In fact, all the getting rid
- 10:55Speaker 1: of all the fossil fuel. And then it also hurt
- 10:58Speaker 1: the environment. Believe it or not, this whole green movement
- 11:00Speaker 1: hurt the environment as we shifted to wind, solar and
- 11:04Speaker 1: all that crap. The wind farms did more environmental damage
- 11:08Speaker 1: than anything. I mean, they were just awful on the environment.
- 11:13Speaker 1: And whenever that's one reason, you know, when they wanted
- 11:16Speaker 1: to do it in the Cape or anywhere near left
- 11:18Speaker 1: wingers or of Kennedy's, they would ban the windmills because
- 11:23Speaker 1: you don't just stick the windmill in the ground. You
- 11:26Speaker 1: have to go like a half mile out in every
- 11:27Speaker 1: direction and just tear up the ground and fill it
- 11:30Speaker 1: with concrete. And you know it's forever. You can never
- 11:34Speaker 1: get rid of that. You destroy your coastline. The blades
- 11:37Speaker 1: on a windmill are so big. The blades are the
- 11:40Speaker 1: size of the Washington Monument and they're fiberglass. They are
- 11:45Speaker 1: a nightmare to dispose of. You got to change them
- 11:48Speaker 1: every year. So disposing of the old blades was far
- 11:51Speaker 1: worse than trying to get rid of a nuclear waste.
- 11:53Speaker 1: So it was terrible for the environment. It produced absolutely
- 11:57Speaker 1: no power that was I mean any fraction of what
- 12:00Speaker 1: we needed. You remember in Europe they went solar power, wind power,
- 12:06Speaker 1: and then about two years later had to tear it
- 12:07Speaker 1: all down. It just wouldn't work. There was never enough wind.
- 12:11Speaker 1: So hey the Knicks tonight, big, big, big, big game tonight.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Now James Dolan Madison Square Garden has announced. You know
- 12:20Speaker 1: there's always talk would you sell the Knicks, would you
- 12:21Speaker 1: sell the Rangers. Well, he's announced both the Knicks and
- 12:25Speaker 1: the Rangers will split up. Each of them will become
- 12:28Speaker 1: separate public companies, which means it'll be a stock you
- 12:32Speaker 1: can buy. So that's kind of like selling him. It's
- 12:34Speaker 1: actually a smarter way for him because what he's gonna
- 12:38Speaker 1: do make it a public company you can buy stock.
- 12:41Speaker 1: They'll each be a separate public company, but the Forbes
- 12:44Speaker 1: thinks the Knicks will be worth about ten billion, ten billion,
- 12:49Speaker 1: even the Rangers four billion. This that's fourteen billion they'll
- 12:53Speaker 1: take in right there. It's a way to kind of
- 12:57Speaker 1: very safely get rid of the Knicks and the Rangers
- 12:59Speaker 1: and sell them pretty good deal. Madison Square Garden stock
- 13:04Speaker 1: itself soared as a result. Hey, mayor's crazy mayor, Mom
- 13:10Speaker 1: Donnie anti Semitic, mayor, Mom Donnie anti Israel. I mean,
- 13:15Speaker 1: you talk about racism and bigotry. This is it to
- 13:18Speaker 1: be that anti semitic, to be against a group, This
- 13:21Speaker 1: kind of discrimination we've never seen from a public official.
- 13:25Speaker 1: But he's not going to go to the Israel Israel
- 13:28Speaker 1: Day parade, which is awful. But he also commemorated a
- 13:33Speaker 1: Knakba Day, which a lot of us have never heard of.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Knack Bud Day. The real anti Semits of the world,
- 13:41Speaker 1: the real anti Semitic, anti Israel people celebrate this Knakba Day.
- 13:46Speaker 1: What it is, It's the day in nineteen forty eight
- 13:49Speaker 1: where Israel was created. But Knakba Day is an anti
- 13:55Speaker 1: Israel day. It's supposedly commemorate how awful what happened to
- 14:01Speaker 1: the Palestinians were, how disgusting it was they were displaced
- 14:05Speaker 1: from their land, How evil Israel was when it was created.
- 14:08Speaker 1: The creation of Israel was evil, awful. This is what
- 14:11Speaker 1: knak Badet is all about. It's a horrible thing. But
- 14:14Speaker 1: for Mayor mont Donnie to actually put out a video
- 14:16Speaker 1: commemorating this awful thing, it is about as anti Semitic
- 14:20Speaker 1: as you can get. Now, these Nakbadet people just take
- 14:24Speaker 1: everything out of a context. They make it sound like
- 14:26Speaker 1: nineteen forty eight was the most awful, evil thing ever
- 14:29Speaker 1: done throwing the Palestinian They just totally ignore the real facts.
- 14:33Speaker 1: It was. Israel was created by the United Nations. It
- 14:37Speaker 1: was a partition plan. All the countries participated in it.
- 14:42Speaker 1: The Arab rejection of it was the reason many Palestinians left.
- 14:46Speaker 1: They weren't thrown out of anywhere. But this is the dirty,
- 14:49Speaker 1: dirty racism of Mamdani and a lot of Democrats unfortunately.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Now I just want to mention this again. Tuesday night,
- 14:57Speaker 1: a lot of people are going to this big rally
- 15:00Speaker 1: Tuesday night outside of Gracie Mansion. It's to fight the
- 15:05Speaker 1: anti Semitism. Seven pm Tuesday night, May twenty sixth, being
- 15:10Speaker 1: organized by a lot of people, Jewish heritage groups will
- 15:14Speaker 1: be there, a lot of speakers, a lot of politicians,
- 15:17Speaker 1: political officials will be there. Tuesday night, seven o'clock, Gracie Mansion.
- 15:22Speaker 1: They have an Instagram. It's called stop ju Hatred. Stop
- 15:26Speaker 1: j Hatred on Instagram and get all the latest there.
- 15:29Speaker 1: But Tuesday night, seven o'clock, I know a lot of
- 15:31Speaker 1: people are going to this, so hey, we'll take some calls.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Next eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten
- 15:38Speaker 1: is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten,
