- 1:38Speaker 3: but then I just had to regather myself but take

- 2:18Speaker 1: yeah yeah, Vonies, I'm feeling great, Mike. Would you say
- 2:22Speaker 1: that you're feeling like a bit of a maggot today?
- 2:24Speaker 5: Ah?
- 2:24Speaker 1: I was feeling more of a maggot yesterday, right, Yeah
- 2:27Speaker 1: for sure. Well, if there's anyone out there who thinks
- 2:29Speaker 1: one of their work mates is potentially a bit of

- 2:38Speaker 3: a big showy. I was filming this morning fellas and
- 2:41Speaker 3: something happened to me that I've never done before in
- 2:44Speaker 3: my career. So we'll get into that next.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Did you say you were filming this morning's fellas? Ah?
- 2:49Speaker 3: No, no, I don't think the camera angle was that
- 2:51Speaker 3: low actually, but I was filming this morning. But hey,
- 2:56Speaker 3: oh we are feeling If you are feeling down, what
- 2:59Speaker 3: better way to start the day than Green Day.
- 3:02Speaker 2: The Holaky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and
- 3:06Speaker 2: Keysy read Ho.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Chili Pepper's there on the radio Hot Achy Big Show.
- 3:10Speaker 3: This Monday after the time is thirteen minutes past four o'clock.
- 3:15Speaker 3: And I believe Kezy we have some maggot mondays on
- 3:18Speaker 3: three four eight three.
- 3:19Speaker 1: That's try. If you just joined us, you basically texting
- 3:21Speaker 1: anyone who is a bit of a maggot and we'll
- 3:23Speaker 1: read it out. For some reason, Jacob the signwriter, he's
- 3:27Speaker 1: a maggot like that in Jacob, are huge maggot Monday
- 3:30Speaker 1: to Chris, who sent it a wee bit hard at
- 3:32Speaker 1: Dino's wedding over the week, Dinos tool of himself at
- 3:37Speaker 1: a wedding.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Eh, he's always got to be one at a wedding.
- 3:40Speaker 3: It doesn't there every time.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yeah, Dave, Mike, Vinnie, Jesse, Chris, Nita and Finn are
- 3:45Speaker 1: probably all feeling a bit maggot today.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Sure they must have been at Dino's as well.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I'll tell you what though. Having said that, if you
- 3:51Speaker 3: are feeling maggot, at least it's spring feels and it
- 3:54Speaker 3: makes a difference. You know, if it was pizzling with
- 3:56Speaker 3: rain and cold witt misrael Be, you'd be like, I
- 3:58Speaker 3: feel like a right royal maggo. But because their son
- 4:01Speaker 3: out and stuffing, eh, it's all g I felt as
- 4:04Speaker 3: I had a very bizarre thing happened to me today.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I was filming this morning, right, I can't go and
- 4:10Speaker 3: ask me what show?
- 4:11Speaker 1: What show?
- 4:11Speaker 3: Are you feeling broken wood?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:13Speaker 3: And anyway, I knew about the filming for about a
- 4:16Speaker 3: week and a half. I got sent out what's it
- 4:19Speaker 3: called the cool sheet a week and a half ago,
- 4:22Speaker 3: a week ago, purely because last week they had the
- 4:25Speaker 3: week off, so they sent it out last Friday, and
- 4:27Speaker 3: I was like, sweet, I'm filming to this morning. You
- 4:30Speaker 3: know the first scene of the day. What it was.
- 4:34Speaker 3: We're on set at seven. I was an earlier start,
- 4:37Speaker 3: but nothing too bad. I knew the location. That was
- 4:40Speaker 3: all g and I was doing the first scene of
- 4:43Speaker 3: the day with my sister, so it was a two
- 4:46Speaker 3: handed scene. But it wasn't a massive scene, but it
- 4:49Speaker 3: was a reasonably significant scene. So that was all under control.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I got up this morning and it was really weird.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I got out of bed and this is true. I went,
- 4:59Speaker 3: something's not right and I just really couldn't put my
- 5:04Speaker 3: finger on it. It was bugging me. Can I put that?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Would you say it was bugging you?
- 5:09Speaker 3: It was bugging It genuinely was, And I was wondering
- 5:17Speaker 3: when the house going have I I feel like I've
- 5:20Speaker 3: double booked or I'm meant to be doing something else
- 5:23Speaker 3: and I've completely forgotten about this. And I went outside
- 5:27Speaker 3: and I had my morning coffee and Darry Mogi, and
- 5:31Speaker 3: then I went and I was having the shower and
- 5:33Speaker 3: I just could not think, but I wouldn't let me go,
- 5:35Speaker 3: and I was going, I'm forgetting something. Something's off, And
- 5:40Speaker 3: then I swear to god, I went, oh my god,
- 5:44Speaker 3: I haven't learnt my lines. So I had an entire
- 5:49Speaker 3: week to learn my lines. And about middle of last week,
- 5:53Speaker 3: I think I had a moment where I went, oh,
- 5:55Speaker 3: I should learn my lines for that scene. And that
- 5:57Speaker 3: was the only thought I had about it. And I
- 5:59Speaker 3: was standing in the shower nude, looking sensational, covered in soap,
- 6:04Speaker 3: and I went, I'm filming in about twenty five minutes
- 6:07Speaker 3: and I haven't lent the scene. Now, you know, Mogi
- 6:11Speaker 3: first and foremost as an actor. When you're going on
- 6:13Speaker 3: Zip number one, roll loan your lines? Okay, you get that, Keysy,
- 6:21Speaker 3: I would.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Never do loan your line. Has this ever happened to
- 6:24Speaker 1: you might know?
- 6:24Speaker 3: It's never happened to me in my life I'm fastidious
- 6:26Speaker 3: about learning lines, and it was I was blown away
- 6:30Speaker 3: by the fact that I simply forgot.
- 6:33Speaker 1: To learn my many pages.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Was it wasn't long, it was just under two pages.
- 6:38Speaker 3: So I went. I quickly got out of the shower,
- 6:42Speaker 3: towered myself down, and I was looking at myself.
- 6:46Speaker 1: God, I'm looking good. And then yet you forgot again?
- 6:49Speaker 3: It was dry. Yeah, it was driving with you know,
- 6:52Speaker 3: I had the sort of sides there which other script
- 6:55Speaker 3: on they send you driving and learning.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I went along.
- 7:00Speaker 3: She was pretty touch and go, but because of my
- 7:03Speaker 3: vast experience, I managed to just need my way through
- 7:09Speaker 3: the scene.
- 7:09Speaker 1: And do you think there's any sign when you watch
- 7:11Speaker 1: the finished product of Broken Wood Mysteries that you had
- 7:14Speaker 1: forgotten to lin your lines?
- 7:15Speaker 5: None?
- 7:15Speaker 1: No, okay, watch it?
- 7:17Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, I mean I won't watch it, but I
- 7:20Speaker 3: mean sometimes it's a great show, don't get me wrong.
- 7:23Speaker 3: But I never watched myself.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And what was it about being in the shower that
- 7:27Speaker 1: made you remember? Was it when you hopped out you
- 7:28Speaker 1: saw the lines in your face and you're like, shit,
- 7:30Speaker 1: I haven't learned my lines? Was that? Was that what
- 7:37Speaker 1: reminded you? Or was.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Or did you have something tight around your downstairs to
- 7:43Speaker 5: remind yourself.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Can I have a word kissing the hurdarchy Big Show
- 7:49Speaker 2: with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 7:51Speaker 1: And Kesey.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Radio Horaki. Would you rather helly fishing or helly gold?
- 7:58Speaker 3: Let's find out this crazy Zealand would choose. Yeah, beautiful,
- 8:04Speaker 3: two nice choices there, but a golf but a fishing.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Speaking of fishing, fellows, I did some fishing yesterday morning,
- 8:09Speaker 3: beautiful morning. I was out at Odraki Pierre there. Didn't
- 8:14Speaker 3: catch a damn thing, but it didn't matter. I don't
- 8:16Speaker 3: think you've ever caught anything I do occasionally.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You've never once come in and said, I caught an
- 8:22Speaker 1: amazing fish at the weekend photos. Nothing.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I think that one thing I've caught is akhwai while
- 8:27Speaker 3: I was on this.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Show, right, I don't remember that.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I can show you a peck please. But anyway,
- 8:32Speaker 3: let's get to the callers, because they get to the
- 8:34Speaker 3: side whether they want to go golfing and or fishing
- 8:37Speaker 3: or ah, good calem, how are you?
- 8:41Speaker 4: Yeah, good man? How are you?
- 8:42Speaker 1: Fellows? Yeah?
- 8:44Speaker 3: How was your weekend?
- 8:47Speaker 4: Pretty bloody? Crazy baby who doesn't want to sleep?
- 8:54Speaker 1: It helps baby sleep. Helicopter fishing.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, check right on the deep end.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Yeah, good stuff for all. I'll tell you what, Cayle,
- 9:01Speaker 3: what are you going to choose?
- 9:03Speaker 4: I think I have to go with the helly fishing
- 9:06Speaker 4: because I can get something at the internet wherever I
- 9:08Speaker 4: suck at golf and I am a loser at Yeah
- 9:12Speaker 4: good cool?
- 9:12Speaker 5: Will you sound Joe and you get nothing fishing as well?
- 9:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 9:16Speaker 3: You Hopefully whoever your work catches something and you can
- 9:18Speaker 3: steal some of these. I'll chuck you over the Pudson
- 9:21Speaker 3: and studio. Be good luckmates. Get a Ben house life,
- 9:25Speaker 3: Oh it's great. Let's say you're doing really good being
- 9:29Speaker 3: your massive backbone. How was your weekend?
- 9:31Speaker 1: Ben?
- 9:32Speaker 3: Oh housework, you know how it is? Yes? Brother, sure,
- 9:37Speaker 3: what are you going with? Ben Gold for fishing? I'll
- 9:41Speaker 3: tell you I got to go for the holly golf mate.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, absolutely. What's your handicap? Man my golf? Yeah?
- 9:51Speaker 3: Yeah, come on mate, damn it good. You've been Saturnine
- 9:57Speaker 3: and now good made pots on and studio. You will
- 10:00Speaker 3: look after you get a Amanda. How's life? Oh, it's
- 10:03Speaker 3: doing pretty well at the moment. It's nice. How was
- 10:06Speaker 3: your weekend, Amanda?
- 10:08Speaker 5: Full of sun?
- 10:09Speaker 4: And very relaxing.
- 10:11Speaker 1: It's good man, now good Amanda. What do you do
- 10:14Speaker 1: for a crust man?
- 10:17Speaker 4: I manage as fun a.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Helicopter for that?
- 10:23Speaker 3: That is so good? All right, Ben, With that in mind,
- 10:27Speaker 3: what are you choosing?
- 10:28Speaker 4: Definitely Helly fishing.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, good on you, mat Yeah totally. Will you
- 10:33Speaker 3: stand on the line to Amanda and pak San will
- 10:35Speaker 3: sort you out? All right?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Awesome things, good stuff, so good fellas. Hey guys, of
- 10:40Speaker 1: course it is all thanks so mates. It Heli trans helicopters.
- 10:44Speaker 1: It's not just hally fishing. It is being flown out
- 10:46Speaker 1: to Grape Barrier Island. You get all the kit there
- 10:48Speaker 1: to bring home a big one. Or if you choose
- 10:51Speaker 1: the Halli Golf you get to head to Auckland's West
- 10:53Speaker 1: Coast Muddy Way golf Links, beautiful spot to play. You
- 10:55Speaker 1: get green fees, golf carts and food and beers as well.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Actually, fellows, I want to take issue here, Yeah, take
- 11:01Speaker 3: issue with the whole fishing thing. I've actually caught probably
- 11:05Speaker 3: ten or fifteen fish since we've been doing this. Shure.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Okay. All I'm saying is I've never seen a photo
- 11:10Speaker 1: of one.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Told us, yeah, it's just because I forgot when I
- 11:14Speaker 3: was at the batch when I often catch fish. Yeah right,
- 11:17Speaker 3: I forgot about that aspect.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Sureries easy of you ever brought home a big one, man? Yes,
- 11:27Speaker 1: I don't like fishing though, Hey, fellers, would you rather
- 11:30Speaker 1: be constantly sticky or constantly itchy? Sticky sticky ah grass? Anyway,
- 11:39Speaker 1: here's born Sticky Slippy Underworld.
- 11:42Speaker 2: The Wrecking Big Show podcast Kings of Leon.
- 11:45Speaker 3: There on the radio, ho Donkey Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 11:48Speaker 3: The time is ten minutes to five o'clock for those
- 11:50Speaker 3: of you that are interested. The crickets all over. We
- 11:53Speaker 3: needed sixty eight off the final day with two wickets
- 11:55Speaker 3: in hand. We got bowled out with sixty three remaining
- 11:59Speaker 3: to bear.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll have sports chat up to five.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Man.
- 12:03Speaker 1: You have a little cry at the end of that song.
- 12:05Speaker 1: It's a nice song. It was a really nice song.
- 12:08Speaker 1: It's beautiful.
- 12:08Speaker 5: I thought I was doing that privately, but that's all good. Hey, fellers,
- 12:11Speaker 5: excuse me. I went over to the way Hiki Island
- 12:15Speaker 5: there for the weekend. We had a birthday lunch to
- 12:18Speaker 5: go to long lunch, by the way, sounded it thirteen hours.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, that is it.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I was full full by the end of that dinner,
- 12:27Speaker 1: I was it didn't matter, yeah, yeah, constibly.
- 12:34Speaker 5: And part of going over there was my my cousin
- 12:38Speaker 5: lives over there and she looked after our daughter, which
- 12:41Speaker 5: was which was great. Got the night off and also
- 12:43Speaker 5: meant we had some of the next day as well
- 12:45Speaker 5: to not deal with a kid rolling into a room
- 12:46Speaker 5: at six o'clock in the morning. But we got a
- 12:49Speaker 5: we got an EARB and B and when we turned
- 12:52Speaker 5: up the air the well, they show you the photos
- 12:57Speaker 5: of how they want you to perceive it, don't they,
- 12:59Speaker 5: not so realizing that at some point you're going to
- 13:01Speaker 5: turn up and you're going to see it for what
- 13:03Speaker 5: it actually is. So look, great, little studio, look awesome.
- 13:06Speaker 5: You turned up and they had a nice little front
- 13:10Speaker 5: deck on it, nice little one, just one bedroom, obviously
- 13:14Speaker 5: a studio looking back out.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Looked all goods.
- 13:16Speaker 5: But when you turn up, you realize there's also another
- 13:20Speaker 5: one of these studios directly beside it, right, and then
- 13:24Speaker 5: on top of it is like a two or three
- 13:25Speaker 5: bedroom apartment, And what you're looking directly out onto is
- 13:29Speaker 5: the car park for all of these other places. Right,
- 13:34Speaker 5: So if you sit outside, you're sitting outside looking at
- 13:37Speaker 5: the car park and you're watching people arrive and leave,
- 13:41Speaker 5: and so you've got absolutely zero privacy, sure at all.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So that's all that's good.
- 13:46Speaker 3: And can I just add the irony of the fact
- 13:48Speaker 3: that you're on a beautiful sort of.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Island, Oh yeah, looking at a car park. Yeah, it
- 13:52Speaker 5: was good. The other studio looked out onto a garden.
- 13:55Speaker 5: That one looked nice. And also there was nobody staying there,
- 13:57Speaker 5: so that would have been really good. And then we
- 13:59Speaker 5: went in and the this is a this is a
- 14:02Speaker 5: minor quibble, don't really care about this, but there was
- 14:05Speaker 5: only you're getting generally, if you're going over to the islands,
- 14:07Speaker 5: you're probably going to be going out to some kind
- 14:09Speaker 5: of event, thinking or something. Rather and if you've got
- 14:12Speaker 5: a wife, I've got one, Kisa, you've got one, ah yeah, Jase, well.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah no yeah, idea yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 5: At the moment, there's only one mirror, and all you
- 14:24Speaker 5: could see was your face on it, you know, it
- 14:26Speaker 5: was so high and they like to be able to
- 14:28Speaker 5: see themselves from here.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Fully.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Yeah, So there was only there and that was that
- 14:32Speaker 5: was all good. So anyway, we went out, got back
- 14:35Speaker 5: a little bit later than we had anticipated, and what
- 14:37Speaker 5: we hadn't noticed when we were in the studio apartment
- 14:41Speaker 5: was it had a fire exit light light the ones
- 14:46Speaker 5: that you see in a commercial building. Wow, that was
- 14:50Speaker 5: above the ranch slider and that was glowing at about
- 14:55Speaker 5: the same brightness as the sun far out. And there's
- 15:00Speaker 5: there's just nothing we could do about it. You couldn't
- 15:01Speaker 5: get anything on it, you couldn't put anything over it.
- 15:05Speaker 5: I don't know what the point of it was. But
- 15:07Speaker 5: my wife can't sleep if there's any light source at all,
- 15:11Speaker 5: like if you have the tea, if there's a TV
- 15:13Speaker 5: in the room and it has the red light, little
- 15:15Speaker 5: tiny red dots, you can't deal with it, right, She
- 15:17Speaker 5: can't deal with it. So this was like having a
- 15:19Speaker 5: car with its tie beams on.
- 15:21Speaker 1: It was that. I don't know.
- 15:22Speaker 5: But I don't know why it was there because it's
- 15:24Speaker 5: not a requirement. Is it for people to have a
- 15:27Speaker 5: like a massive light indicating we are the massive doras
- 15:32Speaker 5: in the studio apartment.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I've stayed in heaps of apartments. I've never seen that.
- 15:35Speaker 5: No, I've never seen that before either. So yeah, I
- 15:37Speaker 5: don't know, and we had to, you know, we checked
- 15:39Speaker 5: out the next day. But I'm wondering like what do
- 15:41Speaker 5: you do. Do you go do you treat it like
- 15:44Speaker 5: you do when you have bad food at a restaurant
- 15:46Speaker 5: and you you're just never going to stay there again,
- 15:49Speaker 5: or do you do the review and you say, look,
- 15:53Speaker 5: these are some things that could be improved.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Upon, interestingly, and we went down to tote on it
- 16:02Speaker 3: for for Christmas last year. We stayed in the place
- 16:04Speaker 3: and there were a few issues. It was very nice,
- 16:08Speaker 3: but my wife, rather leave a public review, I was
- 16:13Speaker 3: able to contact the woman person yes who and say, hey,
- 16:17Speaker 3: this might be quite good if you did this, and
- 16:19Speaker 3: you know you should have this. That's kind of a
- 16:22Speaker 3: basic for something like this. We really enjoyed our stay
- 16:25Speaker 3: and the woman came back and see it. I really
- 16:26Speaker 3: appreciate you doing that and telling me that because it's
- 16:29Speaker 3: good to learn that stuff, because he was just starting
- 16:32Speaker 3: off from the whole kind of business.
- 16:35Speaker 1: You're right, because my my approach to the whole thing
- 16:38Speaker 1: would be where an imask where and I musk, yeah, well,
- 16:41Speaker 1: if you're knew right, yeah, if you knew there was
- 16:44Speaker 1: going to be a sun like the light emitting the set,
- 16:49Speaker 1: you would take you would take it over.
- 16:50Speaker 5: But in all my years I've never seen anything like
- 16:53Speaker 5: it in a hotel, Airbnb, motel, motor and anything at all.
- 16:56Speaker 1: It was. It was weird, but it.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Is funny because it's it's just like when people are
- 17:00Speaker 3: selling their houses and you get all the beautiful pecks
- 17:02Speaker 3: and then you go and see the house and it's
- 17:04Speaker 3: an absolute shit hole.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Yeah, the whole Chy Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 17:10Speaker 2: Kezy tune in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Ikey, you welcome back your messive bank bones. Hope you're
- 17:16Speaker 3: getting through your Monday ticketyboo. You're listening to the Big Show,
- 17:19Speaker 3: brought to you by Night.
- 17:29Speaker 1: That was nearly good. It's really good. Nearly.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I went and stole a packet of chips before and
- 17:36Speaker 3: I was reminded again of just how utterly appalling Mogi
- 17:40Speaker 3: is when it comes to snacks, because you remember Kesey
- 17:43Speaker 3: when he went through that period, he went no snacks
- 17:44Speaker 3: for a year, and to his absolute credit, he abided
- 17:49Speaker 3: by that and didn't have any snacks in the studio
- 17:52Speaker 3: for a year. But he's back to us bad old
- 17:55Speaker 3: ways and handfuls of chips just shove down as massive.
- 18:01Speaker 1: God. Yeah, it was like it was disgraceful making up
- 18:05Speaker 1: for lost time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I lost a year
- 18:08Speaker 1: of my snack life. They're going to get it back
- 18:09Speaker 1: right now with this bag. It's one hundred true, guys. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 1: I had so many more snacks than you guys.
- 18:17Speaker 3: You do, you do?
- 18:18Speaker 1: It's good to hear them, admit it.
- 18:20Speaker 3: We hit a scenario in my house last night, by
- 18:23Speaker 3: the way, and we've done a food shop that afternoon,
- 18:27Speaker 3: and I said to my wife, my god, we didn't
- 18:29Speaker 3: buy any treats, darling, And she was like, are you
- 18:32Speaker 3: kidding me? And I was like, no, I'm not kidding.
- 18:35Speaker 3: And so I went up to the dairy and bought
- 18:37Speaker 3: two flake bars, you know, the flakes. Yeah. And the
- 18:41Speaker 3: fact that we had them there was enough for us
- 18:44Speaker 3: and we didn't need to eat them.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Wow.
- 18:46Speaker 3: It was the fact that we felt like we didn't
- 18:49Speaker 3: have treats and it triggered something in us, and so
- 18:51Speaker 3: I had to go and purchase treats even though we
- 18:53Speaker 3: didn't end up eating them. Is that weird?
- 18:55Speaker 1: You'd probably had nine bags of chips during the day anyway.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I had a few chippies that you must have brought
- 19:01Speaker 1: other stuff while you're at the deer and eat.
- 19:03Speaker 5: You ate on the way home, and then you just
- 19:04Speaker 5: threw the rapper and the and the river by your house.
- 19:07Speaker 1: You walked in with like a duckster, heaps of chocolate
- 19:10Speaker 1: around your mouth. I've got the flakes for a starling.
- 19:12Speaker 3: You know, it's really funny. Just on there. I bought
- 19:15Speaker 3: two flakes and there was a little bag of chocolate
- 19:18Speaker 3: fishies which the way. So it's not weird at all.
- 19:23Speaker 1: You'd already eat chocol.
- 19:27Speaker 3: My wife was, you know, she was very disciplined.
- 19:30Speaker 5: She didn't know. I told her that you're done there.
- 19:33Speaker 5: I hope she's on the drive home listening to this.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I said, geez, I don't even feel like this now.
- 19:38Speaker 1: So does she know that you had chocolate fish Nah?
- 19:40Speaker 1: So you're keeping stuff from your wife?
- 19:43Speaker 3: Everyone keeps stuff from the wife, don't you? Keasy man
- 19:48Speaker 3: three four eight three? Do you keep stuff from your wife.
- 19:51Speaker 1: For your partner? Are you keeping from your partner?
- 19:53Speaker 3: I want to know.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I want to or not?
- 19:55Speaker 3: I love standing up with a bit of pil gym
- 20:00Speaker 3: get into it.
- 20:01Speaker 2: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and
- 20:05Speaker 2: Kisey He is.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Indeed news there on the radio, Hoed Archy Big Show
- 20:09Speaker 3: this Monday afternoon, twelve minutes past five o'clock and all
- 20:13Speaker 3: as well. We were just talking in the previous break
- 20:15Speaker 3: about stuff that we hide from our partners, weren't we feeled.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, this is on the back of, to be honest,
- 20:21Speaker 1: what's disgusted me, Jason, the fact that you hid you
- 20:25Speaker 1: buying a couple of chocolate fish from your wife and
- 20:27Speaker 1: ate them without her.
- 20:28Speaker 3: It's actually even worse than that, because I actually bought
- 20:30Speaker 3: another packet of chocolate fish as a cover, right with
- 20:33Speaker 3: the other packet of chocolate fish that I ate.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Right, So you've still got a packet of chocolate fish.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I think there may be one left.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Sure, Okay, the deceit runs deep. That's disgusting. It's disgusting.
- 20:45Speaker 5: Yeah, it's It's worse than when I was running a
- 20:49Speaker 5: similar sort of deceit. We were vegan, the wife and
- 20:52Speaker 5: I for about three or four years. At that stage,
- 20:54Speaker 5: we cared about our health and the planet. Those days
- 20:56Speaker 5: are over. What I used to do was if I
- 21:02Speaker 5: was coming home from work or something, I'd sneak into
- 21:04Speaker 5: McDonald's and I get myself a fill of the first
- 21:07Speaker 5: combo and a cheeseburger and I just sneakily scoffed those
- 21:11Speaker 5: bastards down there, and yeah, I'm so weird about it.
- 21:14Speaker 5: And every now and again, though I think she was
- 21:18Speaker 5: doing the same thing. So we're try and catch each
- 21:20Speaker 5: other out, but you had to be very very careful.
- 21:23Speaker 5: One time she caught me out because you have to
- 21:24Speaker 5: get rid of the evidence, right, you have to make
- 21:27Speaker 5: sure that you've eaten it, so that the smell of McDonald's,
- 21:29Speaker 5: which is a very distinctive smell, just to get into.
- 21:32Speaker 1: The car and pick that up.
- 21:34Speaker 5: But she once caught me out because I had I
- 21:38Speaker 5: had thrown everything into the bin except for the paper
- 21:41Speaker 5: cover for the straw.
- 21:44Speaker 3: She found the paper cover for the strike. She is
- 21:47Speaker 3: like a yeah, you know, just on that front. By
- 21:51Speaker 3: the way, Maggie, I think that's quite a common one.
- 21:53Speaker 3: You know, where people get takeaways before they go home,
- 21:59Speaker 3: and you know they don't have a big feeder KFC
- 22:01Speaker 3: for example, and you've got to actually, Darling, I make
- 22:04Speaker 3: sure that I'm not that hungry. I'm just going to
- 22:06Speaker 3: go and have a shower. And you feel and you
- 22:08Speaker 3: feel like you've had an a fear, do you know
- 22:10Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 22:11Speaker 1: You're watching the guilds off, I'd like sneakily have a
- 22:14Speaker 1: pizza or something at lunch time, and then she'd be like,
- 22:16Speaker 1: by the way, I saw you had pizza for lunch,
- 22:18Speaker 1: like in the you know, in the trash, but the
- 22:19Speaker 1: one that I've been having to think because I want
- 22:21Speaker 1: to show that you're not the only one lying to
- 22:23Speaker 1: your wife, Jose, I'm also hiding stuff from my partner.
- 22:26Speaker 1: She doesn't know that I obviously have a fun account.
- 22:28Speaker 1: We get a certain amount of money we spend each
- 22:30Speaker 1: week each right my fun account. She doesn't know that
- 22:33Speaker 1: I've actually got a secret fun account which is just
- 22:37Speaker 1: for beers at the pub. Right, So we go to
- 22:39Speaker 1: the pub and have beers. Yeah, quite a lot of
- 22:41Speaker 1: the time, you know, to be shouted by you know,
- 22:43Speaker 1: Toddy or someone at Worth the acc or something. But
- 22:45Speaker 1: I'll often buy around for everyone that comes out of
- 22:47Speaker 1: my secret beers account, and that way, you know, there's
- 22:50Speaker 1: there's no I just don't want her to worry that
- 22:52Speaker 1: I'm buying lots of beers, you know, I.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Would have thought that would be really noticeable if your
- 22:58Speaker 3: fun account didn't have ears. He's involved somehow, I'd be
- 23:01Speaker 3: suspicious of that.
- 23:02Speaker 1: She thinks I've been sober for two years.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, no doubt.
- 23:05Speaker 1: So you're hiding takeaways when you're a vegan. Yeah, I've
- 23:08Speaker 1: got a Secaret Beers account. Are you hiding anything? Uh on?
- 23:11Speaker 3: Nothing like Mowgi. Nothing major. I mean, I've got another family,
- 23:16Speaker 3: do you like? Another eight kids and a so forth?
- 23:21Speaker 1: But Huntley.
- 23:23Speaker 3: I think a couple of them are in Huntley now
- 23:25Speaker 3: yeah yeah, but nothing, nothing that makes me go, oh,
- 23:29Speaker 3: I feel terrible, you know what I mean?
- 23:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's all good tune.
- 23:36Speaker 3: But text us by the way, three four eight three
- 23:38Speaker 3: What do you do that your partner doesn't know about?
- 23:40Speaker 2: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Faith No more there on the radio. Hold Donkey Big
- 23:47Speaker 3: Show this Monday afternoon. The time is twenty five minutes
- 23:50Speaker 3: past five o'clock. Now, fellas legit question here, And I'm
- 23:56Speaker 3: being serious because for some reason on my Instagram at
- 23:59Speaker 3: the moment, I'm inundated with ads for Carver. Oh you
- 24:04Speaker 3: know what I'm talking about? Carver?
- 24:05Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, like Fiji and the yeah, the Fiji,
- 24:08Speaker 5: you know, narcotic Yeah yeah, Well I've.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Heard a lot about it, obviously, over the years, and
- 24:13Speaker 3: I've always been curious about it because I'm I'm always
- 24:17Speaker 3: sort of exploring alternative ways of relaxing. Sure, you know,
- 24:21Speaker 3: and these ads are like, it's such a great alternative
- 24:24Speaker 3: to alcohol and all these sorts of things. Have you
- 24:27Speaker 3: fellas ever done the carver thing and what was the effect?
- 24:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it's it's an interesting sort of a thing.
- 24:33Speaker 5: I've done a lot of it.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Oh same here.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a weird thing because.
- 24:40Speaker 1: It's an acquiet taste.
- 24:41Speaker 5: Can I say that, Yes, it's disgusting, Yes, but like
- 24:45Speaker 5: a lot of narcoic sure after the effect more than
- 24:49Speaker 5: enjoying the taste. Sure, you put up with the taste
- 24:51Speaker 5: to get the effect. And it's a good alternative alcohol.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Although I went to reheab for about nine years. Covery
- 24:58Speaker 5: head Yeah, wow, heavily heavily addicted to it. Wow, okay
- 25:05Speaker 5: for me, because that's kind of personal.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Likewise, Okay, have an addictive personality, yeah, a little bit. Yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 5: For example, Jason will go down to the shop to
- 25:15Speaker 5: buy some sweet things for his wife and buy two
- 25:18Speaker 5: bags of jet planes or what you eat them all
- 25:21Speaker 5: and not tell his wife.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Well, okay, so I don't know if you should do
- 25:24Speaker 1: that with a Carver.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Also, you know she never knew about the cheese balls.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Right. There was thousands of pages, so I've had cover before.
- 25:34Speaker 1: It was while we're in Fiji. Were there for a week.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I think I had it about three nights. Yes, it
- 25:39Speaker 1: was mixed responsibly with a few beers. Sure, one night however,
- 25:43Speaker 1: and it was enjoyable. Your mouth goes a bit weird
- 25:46Speaker 1: to begin with it.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Try or something.
- 25:48Speaker 1: It goes better and like loses its feeling and it
- 25:51Speaker 1: goes numb. That's the word. However, one night we're at
- 25:54Speaker 1: a hotel and I was talking to the waiter there
- 25:56Speaker 1: and I was like, can you get us some Carver?
- 25:58Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, I can get some Carver. Eat out
- 26:00Speaker 1: the front of the hotel at eight thirty at night
- 26:02Speaker 1: because they aren't allowed to sell Carver to people on
- 26:05Speaker 1: hotel grounds during their shift. Meets us out the front
- 26:07Speaker 1: on the beach. We have a massive carvacision beings a
- 26:10Speaker 1: big bowl of like good Carver, not tourist carver, good Carver. Yeah,
- 26:13Speaker 1: we drank that very late that night. Did like a
- 26:17Speaker 1: bit of a resort hop, all the different bars and stuff.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Had a great night. I went a bit at about
- 26:21Speaker 1: three am and had nightmares like I was being stabbed
- 26:25Speaker 1: a thousand times, the most terrifying nightmares I've ever had.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Wow.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Okay, walked out of my room the next morning and
- 26:31Speaker 1: the cameraman Allen that was there with me, he came
- 26:34Speaker 1: out of his room and he had like a wired look,
- 26:37Speaker 1: and I was like, did you have horrific nightmares last night?
- 26:39Speaker 1: He's just like, yes, I dreamt I was dying. He
- 26:42Speaker 1: was being burnt in a fire. Oh wow. Next morning
- 26:45Speaker 1: we go out to breakfast. The waiter's there and we're like, oh,
- 26:47Speaker 1: how was you know? He's like, oh, do you enjoy
- 26:49Speaker 1: the carver? Like, yes, very much, So we had horrific nightmares.
- 26:52Speaker 1: He goes, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah that happens, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah. See, because I'm really prone to nightmares, I.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Already have you be sweet. I reckon you should definitely do.
- 27:05Speaker 3: It, but I just want to I just want to
- 27:06Speaker 3: ask the question legitimately. That's it's all Coachier.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's legal.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Yeah, because I I want to know what the listeners
- 27:14Speaker 3: if they've had it out there on three four eight three,
- 27:16Speaker 3: because I'm just thinking of giving it a bit of.
- 27:18Speaker 5: A nudge right, Okay, see what happens fellas, Yeah, I
- 27:23Speaker 5: told you what I think. Yeah, we really need to
- 27:26Speaker 5: start spicing up our sleep chat segment.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Yes, so I think you're getting on the car.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not encouraged.
- 27:33Speaker 1: To be honest. Once again, it was the most realist.
- 27:35Speaker 1: I felt the pain of every stab. It was so
- 27:38Speaker 1: and I woke up and I was like, where am I?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, it was a dream. Thank goodness for that. Okay,
- 27:43Speaker 1: maybe not, but yeah, three four eight three get in touch?
- 27:45Speaker 1: Should Jason on the covers?
- 27:47Speaker 6: You know?
- 27:47Speaker 1: Do you recommend it? And after five thirty your chance
- 27:51Speaker 1: to win a ten grand diamond engagement ring.
- 27:54Speaker 2: The whole king Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 27:58Speaker 2: tune in.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Four Collective Soul There on the radio Hodankee Big Show
- 28:03Speaker 3: this Monday afternoon. The time is five thirty eight and
- 28:06Speaker 3: all as well. And now listener, if you're thinking of
- 28:09Speaker 3: bending the knee for that special someone in your life,
- 28:12Speaker 3: you need to listen to this extraordinary deal that we
- 28:16Speaker 3: have for your fews.
- 28:17Speaker 5: Can I just say I think it's dropping dropping a knee,
- 28:21Speaker 5: not bending a knee. It feels like it's something out
- 28:23Speaker 5: of Game of thrones, bend the knee.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but as I've previously mentioned, dropping a knee for you,
- 28:32Speaker 3: you'd see and rugby it's bending and you.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Couldn't remember what it was. Ben, how do we all
- 28:37Speaker 1: agree that it's bending the knee, going down on it,
- 28:43Speaker 1: going down on one down on one knee?
- 28:46Speaker 5: Hey, fellas I love did you go? Did you go
- 28:48Speaker 5: down on one knee for your proposal?
- 28:51Speaker 1: Keysy? Sound of course I did. Good Man loved.
- 28:54Speaker 3: It too, as you love love akes.
- 28:57Speaker 1: That's right, Jason, Thanks remembering Man Diamonds on Richmond. They've
- 29:00Speaker 1: teamed up with us here at the Big Show and
- 29:02Speaker 1: we've got a ten thousand dollars diamond engagement ring to give.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Away ten thousand did you say keasy? Yes, that's a
- 29:09Speaker 3: hell of a ring.
- 29:11Speaker 1: That is a massive ring. Yes, And also it's a
- 29:15Speaker 1: little bonus. You get the assistance of we three here
- 29:17Speaker 1: at the Big Show to actually pull off the engagement
- 29:20Speaker 1: h So all you have to do is go to Hoduck,
- 29:24Speaker 1: dot co, dot m Z, tell us what you're thinking,
- 29:26Speaker 1: tell us what you're thinking of doing, and then you
- 29:28Speaker 1: go down. Is this going to be a part of it?
- 29:30Speaker 3: Like?
- 29:31Speaker 5: Am I if I'm putting this in for example, you know,
- 29:36Speaker 5: and m I've been judge, right, so I'm going to
- 29:38Speaker 5: be chosen as winner because of my plan that I've
- 29:41Speaker 5: got for the proposal.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Is that going to come into it? I just know
- 29:43Speaker 1: how important it is. It's not just drawing out of
- 29:45Speaker 1: a hat, willy nilly, is it. That's a great question, Mike,
- 29:48Speaker 1: And it's one of those questions that I wish I
- 29:50Speaker 1: knew the answer.
- 29:50Speaker 5: Yeah, sure, but I'm pretty something so just a mystery, Jason,
- 29:53Speaker 5: We're just going to have to accept it.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Brother Love. How about we get pugsan on tomorrow and
- 29:58Speaker 1: he'll explain. Yes, probably into some weird foot stuff on
- 30:03Speaker 1: his arm, but that's all good.
- 30:04Speaker 3: But regardless, we want to hear from people.
- 30:06Speaker 1: We do, and in fact we have heard from a
- 30:08Speaker 1: lot of people. Yes, this one comes in from anonymous.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Oh again, we're both pilots, plan on flying her out
- 30:17Speaker 1: to Pawanui or Great Barrier and then doing something special
- 30:20Speaker 1: on the beach. I'm unsure, what do you reckon?
- 30:25Speaker 3: That's pretty romantic, romantic, that's what that's what my wife
- 30:29Speaker 3: and I like of Roman or I do something romantic.
- 30:33Speaker 3: She goes, oh, that's so romantic.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Right, q D, What are this get a fella's anonymous
- 30:39Speaker 1: here again thinking of sneaking into the UNI she teaches
- 30:43Speaker 1: at pretending I'm a training midwif and then proposing. Oh,
- 30:49Speaker 1: she obviously teaches midwiffery.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I like it. There is this interesting conundrum, isn't
- 30:56Speaker 3: there between well? For me? In my mind, I go,
- 30:59Speaker 3: is it a personal thing? Just between you and your partner.
- 31:02Speaker 3: A lot of people like that situation where they want
- 31:05Speaker 3: a crowd yeah, to witness it.
- 31:07Speaker 1: You know, I feel like that's crossed in a boundary.
- 31:09Speaker 5: I wouldn't want someone proposing me to a work event
- 31:13Speaker 5: or you know, my workplace. Sure, she's just there, that's
- 31:16Speaker 5: just me. Another thing is I'm already married, so it
- 31:18Speaker 5: doesn't really matter.
- 31:19Speaker 1: So Son walked in here right now and went down
- 31:21Speaker 1: on one knee.
- 31:22Speaker 5: Yeah, And it works here because it's sort of a
- 31:26Speaker 5: you know, make a great radio stunt, you know, watching
- 31:30Speaker 5: and we'd have the cameras on and everything. He would
- 31:32Speaker 5: have sort of all that out, so you'd be able
- 31:34Speaker 5: to see pack Son's.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Heart get crushed. Yeah, when I give them them.
- 31:38Speaker 3: You know, look, if pak Son goes down on one knee,
- 31:41Speaker 3: he can do it anywhere.
- 31:41Speaker 1: For me, and I'm all in because you guys are
- 31:43Speaker 1: at two for one d LA. Yeah, what about this one?
- 31:46Speaker 1: I would this is from anonymous. I would like to
- 31:50Speaker 1: make the future missus anonymous my wife. She is a teacher,
- 31:54Speaker 1: and I would do it in front of her entire class.
- 31:56Speaker 1: So there you go. You know, it's another sort of
- 31:58Speaker 1: public engagement at the work place. Maybe that's what they're into. Well,
- 32:01Speaker 1: maybe there's nothing wrong with that. Yeah, I don't like it.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Yeah right, you mentioned there are keysy. There's something special
- 32:11Speaker 3: about that in terms of Diamonds on Richmond as well,
- 32:13Speaker 3: isn't there?
- 32:15Speaker 1: Sure is. Jason's a great little segway. Men, if you

- 32:27Speaker 1: GST for you. That is like buying Judy free. Yeah,

- 32:40Speaker 1: visit Diamonds on Richmond dot co dot m Z Fellas

- 32:45Speaker 3: Sure that have hit like a whole for you.
- 32:50Speaker 2: The hole Achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 32:54Speaker 2: and Kezy.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Oh indeed the dudes's there on the radio. Hold ankee
- 32:59Speaker 3: big sho this Monday afternoon. The time is five point
- 33:02Speaker 3: fifty two.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Hey, don't forget New Zealand. It's a Monday coming up
- 33:05Speaker 1: after six o'clock. What's for tea with me? Kezy? Get
- 33:08Speaker 1: your ticks through now three four eight three, I'll collate them,
- 33:11Speaker 1: colate them and then you can win a fifty on
- 33:13Speaker 1: night and day voucher. That's after after six.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Hey, it's been the weekend. Let's do some sports.
- 33:18Speaker 6: Chat, sport, sport chat, sport.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Well, obviously let's sign off for real blacks the Australia.
- 33:36Speaker 1: How'd you feel about that? Fellas well?
- 33:38Speaker 5: After the first twenty minutes it was all good. There
- 33:40Speaker 5: I was at the bar. There was a lovely young
- 33:43Speaker 5: Australian couple there. I was having you on to them
- 33:45Speaker 5: about it, very passionate. He was about as about as
- 33:48Speaker 5: Wallabies and it just looked like we were going to
- 33:50Speaker 5: absolutely pump them by eighty, didn't it. And then and
- 33:53Speaker 5: then the second half started, I think we scored three
- 33:55Speaker 5: points in the whole half way and it just kind
- 33:58Speaker 5: of fell off the rails, much like my drinking at
- 34:00Speaker 5: that point.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yes, look, I'll be honest with you. So we started
- 34:04Speaker 3: off with a hiss and aor we look like a
- 34:06Speaker 3: million bucks. But I've got to be honest. There's a
- 34:09Speaker 3: combination of things there. We were playing well. Australia still
- 34:12Speaker 3: looks shell shop from their shellacking from the Argentinians. They
- 34:16Speaker 3: were holding off on defense and we rip them to
- 34:19Speaker 3: shreds Now the top teams in the world would never
- 34:22Speaker 3: give them all blacks that kind of space, and so
- 34:23Speaker 3: that's the first thing, and the Australians paid the price.
- 34:26Speaker 3: But then from the thirty minute mark onwards it was
- 34:29Speaker 3: all kind of downhill, a little bit sloppy play by us.
- 34:32Speaker 3: And here's an alarming statistic, Mogi, Oh yeah, in the
- 34:36Speaker 3: last six test matches, we haven't scored in the last
- 34:38Speaker 3: twenty minutes and any of them. Not only have we
- 34:41Speaker 3: not scored in the last twenty minutes of the last
- 34:44Speaker 3: six test matches, we've consistently had players sent off. So
- 34:48Speaker 3: that tells you that our bench is not working, and
- 34:51Speaker 3: in fact, not only not working, is costing.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Us yeah, but the bench is actually there's got a
- 34:56Speaker 5: lot of great players on there, so whatever it is
- 34:58Speaker 5: that needs iron out, and it's probably got the point
- 35:00Speaker 5: now where it's a little.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Bit mental, maybe a mental issue.
- 35:03Speaker 5: But I think it is weird as there was probably
- 35:06Speaker 5: twenty five years plus there where we would always say, oh,
- 35:09Speaker 5: it's all good, once we get to the last twenty minutes,
- 35:11Speaker 5: we'll smash correct because our fitness is infinitely better than
- 35:15Speaker 5: everybody else, and so we always end up steamrolling everyone
- 35:18Speaker 5: that has completely disappeared. Nobody talks about it anymore at all.
- 35:22Speaker 5: I'm assuming other people's fitness has either improved or ours
- 35:26Speaker 5: has got worse. But it's weird to me that there
- 35:29Speaker 5: used to be such a strength of ours and now
- 35:31Speaker 5: it's it's the opposite.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Can I just say Argentina beat South Africa? Yeah, South
- 35:37Speaker 1: Africa beat us, We beat them, Argentina beat Australia, they
- 35:42Speaker 1: almost beat us. This has been a really like I
- 35:44Speaker 1: know we've got massive issues, but it's so great to
- 35:46Speaker 1: see international rugby, all the teams beating one another. It's brilliant.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Yes, I still would say South Africa al without question
- 35:53Speaker 3: the number one side.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Against Argentina. Rested ten players.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Yeah right, yeah, and to your point, Mogi, it's very true.
- 36:02Speaker 3: That's what I was saying the other day that the
- 36:04Speaker 3: All Blacks could have a pretty average game and in
- 36:07Speaker 3: the last twenty minutes we just ripped teams apart. Yeah,
- 36:10Speaker 3: that's not happening anymore. So they've got some issues to
- 36:13Speaker 3: deal with.
- 36:13Speaker 1: That's what my match year.
- 36:14Speaker 3: But that's that's what I was saying the other week.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Was that week we used to close out games and
- 36:20Speaker 3: kill them. In the last we covered this and spring
- 36:22Speaker 3: Box are now the team that do that.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Actually, what I've noticed is that in the last
- 36:26Speaker 1: twenty we fall off and yeah.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Very unlike us, fellas, it's very unlike on the right side.
- 36:32Speaker 5: We did manage to not lose, getting two cards and
- 36:35Speaker 5: been down to theateen players. Not great, sure, but we
- 36:38Speaker 5: won and we've got another game. I'm assuming it's next week.
- 36:40Speaker 5: Unfortunately it's in Wellington, so we were getting pumped. But yeah,
- 36:44Speaker 5: it's close. I'm enjoying it.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I enjoin it.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I love it. I think I think we'll be
- 36:48Speaker 3: strong and willing to but we'll wait and see.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Do you want to check cricket. You've got twenty six yes, crickets.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Both orders for both sides failed dismally two key points seconds.
- 36:59Speaker 3: The shrill Ankans won the toss in bold last and
- 37:01Speaker 3: that was always going to be a decisive factor. And
- 37:03Speaker 3: the run out of Metchell in the first innings when
- 37:05Speaker 3: we could have got a really significant lead were very
- 37:08Speaker 3: costly for US.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Sports Jet Sports Jet.
- 37:12Speaker 2: The whole king Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 37:15Speaker 2: tune in week days at four on radio.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Hold Ike, welcome back your messive backbones. You're listening to
- 37:20Speaker 3: the Big Show, brought to you by Night. Interesting thing
- 37:26Speaker 3: happened to me in the supermarket the other day. Someone
- 37:28Speaker 3: came up to me and said, hey, Jay, So you
- 37:29Speaker 3: do a radio show, don't you? And I see you.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I do, mate, And he said, do you guys do podcasts?
- 37:35Speaker 3: And I said, funny you should ask really yeah, yeah,
- 37:40Speaker 3: he didn't say his name, and I said, funnily enough,
- 37:43Speaker 3: we do. We do two podcasts, one of the highlights
- 37:46Speaker 3: of the show and another one which is completely separate,
- 37:48Speaker 3: called the podcast Outro.
- 37:50Speaker 1: And did you tell them that it was sort of
- 37:51Speaker 1: like a warm up. It's sort of behind the scenes
- 37:53Speaker 1: sometimes making it's a bit filthy. It's like and we
- 37:56Speaker 1: use it to warm up for the regular show. No,
- 37:58Speaker 1: what did he say? He said, Ah, sweet, did you
- 38:02Speaker 1: plan them a clip of today's one?
- 38:04Speaker 3: No, but I should have.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Yeah, like this one here from today's outro.
- 38:09Speaker 3: I had one of those weekends that was so awesome
- 38:14Speaker 3: that I was like, finally, finally a weekend where everything
- 38:19Speaker 3: you do is great. Got to Sunday night and thought
- 38:24Speaker 3: that was a good stunking.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Week little wind for Hoidy Joe.
- 38:27Speaker 3: That was a wind. It was. It was a tech
- 38:29Speaker 3: in the box there.
- 38:30Speaker 1: And then rooted poohs in the kitchen and ruined it.
- 38:35Speaker 3: And then a duck came in and.
- 38:38Speaker 1: All over the douve.
- 38:40Speaker 3: Haven't seen the duck for a while, actually fell us
- 38:42Speaker 3: to be honestly.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be back when it needs to go poose again.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Obviously, it's obviously building up a real load.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I love the idea of you just having a duck
- 38:51Speaker 1: that walks into your lounge once a weekend does poos
- 38:53Speaker 1: on your lounge ground.
- 38:54Speaker 5: It'll be nice, Yeah, yeah, it'll be nice. Now that
- 38:57Speaker 5: you haven't got the cat, you'll probably see a lot
- 38:59Speaker 5: more ducky I reckon.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Quite possibly actually, And you see the little ducklings walking
- 39:04Speaker 3: along the road. Now, it's cute, isn't it?
- 39:05Speaker 1: On the road.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Yeah, with the mom and you always had a slave.
- 39:08Speaker 3: One slows down with most people, I definitely do.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah that's not it's cute.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a sign of spring. Keezy ah, hey.
- 39:18Speaker 5: It means the ducks have been gann at it? Do
- 39:21Speaker 5: you know they have corkscrew penises?
- 39:23Speaker 3: Text us up, shut up, both of you, text us
- 39:29Speaker 3: and let us know what you're having for tea three four.
- 39:35Speaker 2: The Wholarchy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keezy.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Blink one A two There on the radio, Darkey Big
- 39:42Speaker 3: Show this Monday evening. Let's talk food.
- 39:46Speaker 1: You guys. Text here from Steve what's for teas Zealand
- 39:51Speaker 1: with me?
- 39:53Speaker 5: Kid?
- 39:55Speaker 3: Actually just on the front though, you're going to have
- 39:57Speaker 3: tea tonight because you had a mess of chicken bigger
- 39:59Speaker 3: just with I did.
- 40:00Speaker 5: I don't think I need it, man, Yeah, I don't
- 40:02Speaker 5: think I need it. Although there is steak and viage
- 40:04Speaker 5: waiting for me at home. Yeah, so I'm tempted.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Really you'll eat it, do you think so?
- 40:10Speaker 6: Yes?
- 40:10Speaker 5: I have to cook the steak myself so that that
- 40:14Speaker 5: slims up the chances. Plus I was thinking about stopping
- 40:16Speaker 5: off and getting some takeaways on Yeah.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Nice nice. I've noticed my wife has been having raarer
- 40:21Speaker 1: and rare steaks every time we have it. Less often, no,
- 40:26Speaker 1: like raer cuts. The other day it was wag you
- 40:29Speaker 1: and then she's on the Kobe beef buzz right. Also
- 40:34Speaker 1: she's having a lost a lot less cooked.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Right.
- 40:36Speaker 1: She's like, look that's medium rare, and I'm like, she's pregnant.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Jason, sounding very priggy, congratulations, Yeah, well done, you did
- 40:44Speaker 3: it man, I did wonder about your spims.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Wow that's great. Wow. Big show baby. Yeah, I'm sorry,
- 40:56Speaker 1: it's not a whole ucky big show baby. We'll be
- 40:58Speaker 1: referring to it. Hello, Hudaki, big show baby. Yes, I'm seventeen.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Now here can I just say on that front, Actually
- 41:07Speaker 3: my wife is hanging out for babies, not with me,
- 41:10Speaker 3: but no, just babies in general. So you she'll come
- 41:13Speaker 3: and look after the.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Little keyesy, would she? Actually?
- 41:15Speaker 3: Yeah, she would, totally she would.
- 41:17Speaker 1: That is I Actually we're talking about this the other day.
- 41:19Speaker 1: You know, if we have kids, blah blah blah, who
- 41:21Speaker 1: do you reckon in Auckland? Because our family won't mind
- 41:23Speaker 1: here and Todungker, who's are in Christy? Yeah, And I
- 41:25Speaker 1: was like a bit. I bet Jason Kosh would.
- 41:28Speaker 3: After my wife would be all over that. How a yea,
- 41:31Speaker 3: all right, good to know, Akesy.
- 41:33Speaker 1: It's good to know that she's pregnant now and we've
- 41:34Speaker 1: got that support. That's hey, a lot of great techs
- 41:38Speaker 1: coming in on three four eight three about what people
- 41:40Speaker 1: are having for din Din's hey flowers.
- 41:43Speaker 5: Stefan here, Oh really, Stefan Stefan Edburgh, the former Tennis
- 41:49Speaker 5: Championships play champion from Sweden.
- 41:51Speaker 1: That's the one. Wow, wow really st Fry cheers, Sir
- 41:57Speaker 1: Froy cheers. Yeah, no, I see what know you They're
- 42:01Speaker 1: not putting cheers into a stir fry, Okay.
- 42:04Speaker 3: I really don't know how I feel about stir Fries.
- 42:06Speaker 5: I don't know how I feel about Stefan Edberg. I
- 42:08Speaker 5: feel him about boring. Yeah, beautiful blonde here though, Oh yeah.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Do you think when he cooks us food he goes?
- 42:18Speaker 3: I think so.
- 42:21Speaker 1: It's just going to play the racism alarm there for
- 42:24Speaker 1: obvious reasons. I know how I feel about stir Fry.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I'm sick of them. Yeah, like them when I was
- 42:32Speaker 1: flatting every week. It's like buy some chicken breast, a
- 42:35Speaker 1: big jar of like butter chicken sauce, or like some
- 42:38Speaker 1: stir fry sauce and have that for four meals in
- 42:40Speaker 1: a row. Right, butter chicken is different to stir it
- 42:43Speaker 1: was the same type of No, that's not racism, alarm
- 42:46Speaker 1: as well. I didn't think that curry and stir fry
- 42:51Speaker 1: were the same thing, right, yeah, yeah, wow, but I'm
- 42:54Speaker 1: sick of it. Okay o goody Fowlers Doris here? Oh
- 42:58Speaker 1: my god? Yes, off, she's an actress from yused to year. Right,
- 43:05Speaker 1: she's not Doris Off short and no, not short straight
- 43:08Speaker 1: Coronation Street. No, she's an actor. Yes, yeah, waiting patiently
- 43:16Speaker 1: for seven thirty when the local Pack and Save sushi
- 43:18Speaker 1: goes on clearance for my dinner. Oh good, sounds like
- 43:22Speaker 1: Jason the sushi shop just over the road here. Yeah good.
- 43:26Speaker 1: A flower's archie here, actually bunker, Archie Bunker. Not sure
- 43:32Speaker 1: what I'm having for tea, but it will definitely have
- 43:34Speaker 1: a yellow sticker of it on it and will definitely
- 43:36Speaker 1: be washed down with a cold one. Oh, like a
- 43:39Speaker 1: special I guess, yeah, yeah, yeah, or something from night
- 43:43Speaker 1: and day. I'd recommend maybe nice good a fellas. I'm
- 43:46Speaker 1: having a smack around the chops and a cup of
- 43:48Speaker 1: concrete for dinner. Cool. Who's that from the.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Whole Act Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and talking.
- 43:57Speaker 3: He's here on the radio. Hold Ankie Big Show this
- 44:00Speaker 3: Monday afternoon. Let's chat TV. What's on the Telly with
- 44:06Speaker 3: Mike Minogue?
- 44:10Speaker 7: Yeah, yes, I didn't watch any any TV.
- 44:21Speaker 1: I watched a couple of Seinfelds last night when I
- 44:23Speaker 1: was in bed. Better than that was a little mother lie.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Pretty busy week.
- 44:30Speaker 3: Yeah, what did I watched last night? I watched a
- 44:32Speaker 3: movie called Has Three Daughters, Three Daughters, Three Daughters on Netflix.
- 44:39Speaker 3: There Carrie Coon, you know what, Carrie Coon, great actress
- 44:47Speaker 3: Elizabeth Olsen, you know her, one of the younger, I
- 44:51Speaker 3: think the youngest sister.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Of the twins.
- 44:53Speaker 3: There and Natasha Lyon I think her name is. Has
- 44:56Speaker 3: always played the same sort of characters, sort of quirky
- 44:59Speaker 3: sort of people. But anyways, as suggested by the title,
- 45:05Speaker 3: it's your classic ensemble. Please. Basically three daughters, they're all different, man,
- 45:13Speaker 3: They're all different exactly. Their dad's dying. They all go
- 45:22Speaker 3: back to their dad's place, you know, to see them
- 45:25Speaker 3: through to the end. Apart from the Natasha Lion character
- 45:29Speaker 3: who actually lives with her dad and looked after her.
- 45:32Speaker 5: She's done all the work and where were you guys
- 45:34Speaker 5: when I was doing this, I put my life on hold.
- 45:37Speaker 3: That comes into it most a little bit. But her
- 45:40Speaker 3: character is quite great because she just gets stoned all
- 45:43Speaker 3: the time and doesn't engage with anyone good and her
- 45:46Speaker 3: older sister played by Kerry Coon, just breaks her constantly
- 45:52Speaker 3: about that she's nothing, and obviously resentments come out, stories
- 45:58Speaker 3: come out, and they do a very nice thing. It's
- 46:00Speaker 3: a very nice little device where you never see the
- 46:02Speaker 3: dad of course, but they opened the door to his room,
- 46:04Speaker 3: so it's very much an ensemble kind of scenario.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Is it like the suitcase in pulp fiction? And they
- 46:11Speaker 1: opened the door, it's just like gold light and you
- 46:13Speaker 1: actually see what's in it.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Well, they opened the door and you hear bib bib,
- 46:20Speaker 3: so you hear medical sort of stuff going on, and
- 46:22Speaker 3: there's a couple of periphery characters as well.
- 46:25Speaker 1: It's pretty solid question spoil any of that just then,
- 46:28Speaker 1: because you've said a lot of the plot.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Again, no symptoms and it forms it on HOYTYJ Netflix.
- 46:36Speaker 3: I believe I'll give it a solid.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Six out of ten, three buses out of five. Yes,
- 46:42Speaker 1: thank you. So Friday night we had that meal, which
- 46:46Speaker 1: I loved and my wife hated. And there about that
- 46:49Speaker 1: we watched a movie which she and we're okay, you're
- 46:52Speaker 1: going to watch Rocky. We were going to, but it
- 46:54Speaker 1: wasn't on any of our streaming platforms.
- 46:56Speaker 5: TV's head on Demand, is it. Yes, Okay, good to know.
- 47:00Speaker 5: I think they've got them all on there, haven't they.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that's really good to know. And then we found one.
- 47:04Speaker 1: We were like, oh, let's just watch this. It's low stakes, Oliver,
- 47:06Speaker 1: A couple of beers are crazy stupid love. Sure, yeah,
- 47:09Speaker 1: Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Yes, great little film. Yeah. And
- 47:14Speaker 1: so it was filmed like thirteen years ago, and it's
- 47:18Speaker 1: quite a funny. Like the way it ramps up and
- 47:20Speaker 1: it all comes together at the end is kind of
- 47:21Speaker 1: like Lockstock and two Smoking Barrels. It all goes wrong
- 47:23Speaker 1: towards the end, and in the meantime it's building, which
- 47:26Speaker 1: is very entertaining. However, it's very predatory. The first hour
- 47:30Speaker 1: is Ryan Gosling being a massive sexual predator out at
- 47:34Speaker 1: bars and stuff, and I really did not like that.
- 47:37Speaker 1: But then at the end, obviously it shows that he's
- 47:39Speaker 1: changed his ways and stuff. I didn't like that, and
- 47:41Speaker 1: it was great and they were making out like he
- 47:43Speaker 1: was the man.
- 47:43Speaker 5: Yeah, because you're at a marriage and you sort of
- 47:46Speaker 5: have some envy because he's going out there and hit
- 47:48Speaker 5: non chicks and that's your sort of.
