- 0:02Speaker 1: This morning, we received this kind of interesting text from Tim,
- 0:06Speaker 1: who he said I could use his name. Okay, Tim said,
- 0:10Speaker 1: good morning, Gabe and Angie. I was texting with a
- 0:12Speaker 1: question on the topic of the thirst trap that Angie posted.
- 0:18Speaker 2: My best friend recently lost some weight and was.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Finally comfortable wearing a bathing suit, and she posted her
- 0:24Speaker 1: own thirst trap. When I saw it, I obviously gave
- 0:26Speaker 1: it a like, since she's my best friend, But afterwards
- 0:29Speaker 1: I wondered if that was weird to me to do.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I asked her and she said she didn't even think
- 0:34Speaker 1: twice about it. So I guess my question is is
- 0:37Speaker 1: it weird for a guy or a girl to like
- 0:39Speaker 1: their best friend's thirst trap post? And I would assume
- 0:43Speaker 1: that Tim kind of means like Angie. If I liked
- 0:46Speaker 1: Angie's thirst trap guy to girl, or if Angie liked
- 0:49Speaker 1: my thirst trap, would that be weird?
- 0:51Speaker 3: Okay?
- 0:52Speaker 4: So the context on mine is that this is the
- 0:55Speaker 4: first time that I ever have been able to wear
- 0:58Speaker 4: a bathing suit in the last twenty plus years because
- 1:02Speaker 4: I had really sad, awful, hangy, droopy tatas and I
- 1:07Speaker 4: got a reduction, and so I was really excited to
- 1:10Speaker 4: post a picture of myself in a bathing suit because
- 1:11Speaker 4: I haven't been able to wear one for so long,
- 1:13Speaker 4: and so it seems like the thirst trap that his
- 1:16Speaker 4: friend is from the weight loss, and so she posted.
- 1:19Speaker 4: I think it's perfectly fine that he liked it, especially
- 1:23Speaker 4: if they're best friends, even though it's opposite sex, because
- 1:27Speaker 4: I don't think as long as he didn't slide in
- 1:29Speaker 4: the DMS and say anything creepy, I think that that's fine.
- 1:34Speaker 3: But it does make me want to know did you
- 1:36Speaker 3: like my thirst trap? Did you hit it with a like?
- 1:38Speaker 3: Or did you feel like that would be weird?
- 1:41Speaker 2: I don't remember. I saw the photo, obviously, I'm.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Gonna check it. If you didn't like it, good.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Story or on a No, it was on a post
- 1:51Speaker 4: like it's on the grid.
- 1:52Speaker 3: So if anybody wants to see my.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Thirst trap, here's my rules on liking thirst traps. Okay, yeah,
- 1:59Speaker 1: uh if it's someone my wife and I both know, yeah,
- 2:03Speaker 1: like if it's her friend, I wouldn't really other than you,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I guess I don't have like a girl bestie per se.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Corey is my girl bestie.
- 2:11Speaker 1: That's kind of the only girl bestie I need to
- 2:13Speaker 1: be honest, But angie, I guess would be my girl bestie.
- 2:17Speaker 1: But if it is someone Corey and I both know
- 2:19Speaker 1: and she has liked it, then yeah, I'll go ahead
- 2:22Speaker 1: and hit it with like, here's some positivity, all right,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'll I'll send some love your way, you know. But
- 2:27Speaker 1: if Corey has not liked it or seen it yet,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I'll just wait. Yeah that makes sense, and then ultimately
- 2:32Speaker 1: I'll forget and never go back and like it. Yeah, well, Tim,
- 2:36Speaker 1: it's a little different.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Yeah that's true because.
- 2:38Speaker 4: You're with someone, Tim. I think it's fine that you
- 2:40Speaker 4: just hit it with a like. I think if you
- 2:43Speaker 4: slid in the DMS, or if you left a comment
- 2:46Speaker 4: that was untowored, then.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Hit it with just a bunch of fire emojis.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I think that.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I think that's pretty safe.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I think that that's safe too.
- 2:55Speaker 2: For me.
- 2:56Speaker 3: My thing is like I posted my first trap.
- 2:59Speaker 4: If it's a girl who commented, I like the comment
- 3:02Speaker 4: and I even respond to the comment. If it's a
- 3:05Speaker 4: guy who liked it but I know them, then I'll
- 3:09Speaker 4: like the Then I'll like the comment.
- 3:11Speaker 3: And then if it's a.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Guy who's gay and he commented, then I'll like it
- 3:17Speaker 4: and I'll comment back. But then if it's like a
- 3:19Speaker 4: creeper guy who I've never met in my life and
- 3:23Speaker 4: he says he like they get real kind of they
- 3:26Speaker 4: creepy in the comments. I just ignore that comment like
- 3:28Speaker 4: it doesn't exist.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Yeah, if they hit Angie with like the drool face
- 3:31Speaker 1: drool face eggplant emoji, like probably and now.
- 3:35Speaker 4: The water droplet's like, I'm not gonna give that a
- 3:37Speaker 4: like that's a that's a no for me.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Dog.
- 3:39Speaker 4: I had one friend from high school who's a dude
- 3:43Speaker 4: slide into my dms, but he wrote an incredibly kind
- 3:47Speaker 4: thing because he knew me since high school and he
- 3:49Speaker 4: knew I was struggling with those my sad boobies, and
- 3:53Speaker 4: so it was just like, I know how much this
- 3:56Speaker 4: has been a struggle. It's really nice to see you confident.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I hope you're well. And that was it, like nothing weird.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I don't even know how i'd react to that.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I don't know if I've ever had I don't know
- 4:07Speaker 1: if I've ever been like hit on in comments before.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Oh, just in person, Gabe.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just like I'm Yeah, when I walk around
- 4:15Speaker 1: in like all Zager meets, you know, people just give
- 4:17Speaker 1: me free stuff. No, I'm just that's not true at all.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I don't know how I would react to that. I
- 4:24Speaker 1: guess something, Corey, don't worry too much.
- 4:26Speaker 3: About you need to post a thirst trap.
- 4:28Speaker 2: That's right. I don't really know how do you do
- 4:30Speaker 2: a thirst trap as a dude?
- 4:31Speaker 4: Seven oh one too it on one nine eight seven.
- 4:33Speaker 4: If Gabe is trying to post a thirst trap of
- 4:36Speaker 4: his own, what does that entail for a dude? I
- 4:38Speaker 4: think you obviously have to be in huci daddy shorts,
- 4:41Speaker 4: but I don't know what else. So let us know
- 4:43Speaker 4: seven on one to it on one nine eight seven.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think? How should my thirst trap go?
- 4:47Speaker 2: A and B? What do you think are the rules on?
- 4:50Speaker 1: You know, if you're a guy and you have a
- 4:52Speaker 1: girl best friend, a girl and a guy best friend
- 4:54Speaker 1: and you like their thirst traps?
- 4:55Speaker 2: Does that bother? Do you even think twice about it?
- 4:58Speaker 1: I mean, as Tim said in the text, she said
- 5:00Speaker 1: she didn't even think about it for a second.
- 5:02Speaker 4: I like that he thought about it, and that he
- 5:05Speaker 4: is aware that things can look weird and that he
- 5:08Speaker 4: reached out to clarify, like, by the way, I'm not
- 5:11Speaker 4: trying to be a weirdo, and so I respect that tim.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah, let us know what you think.
- 5:15Speaker 1: This morning here on Big ninety eight point seven helped
- 5:17Speaker 1: me out with my first trap post.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Today celebrating life's little victories. Every morning we practice gratitude
- 5:28Speaker 5: on Big ninety eight point seven. If I could, I
- 5:30Speaker 5: would keep this feeling in a basket job busted out
- 5:33Speaker 5: when it was someone's acting hard. Sure your little victories
- 5:36Speaker 5: with us at seven oh one two eight oho one
- 5:39Speaker 5: ninety eight seven.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Kids.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I also needed to win that day.
- 5:44Speaker 1: And a big shout out to Crystal who said I
- 5:46Speaker 1: have a victory this morning.
- 5:48Speaker 2: My car is fixed. I am mobile again.
- 5:51Speaker 1: The shocks and spring broke, so it was quite spending
- 5:53Speaker 1: to fix, but it is fixed.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yay me, congratulations Crystal.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Nothing worse than car I mean, car problems got to
- 6:01Speaker 1: be in the top five most.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Oh for me, it's stressful ones ever, the.
- 6:06Speaker 4: One when I have to spend money on my car
- 6:09Speaker 4: because something's gone wrong, it's the worst. I mean, it
- 6:12Speaker 4: really makes me mad. So good on you, Crystal. That's exciting,
- 6:16Speaker 4: That's right.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I would say, like moving is probably the most stressful,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and then car problems right there behind it.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I'd say those two are like in line interchangeable that's right. Yeah, Angie,
- 6:26Speaker 2: do you have a little victory today.
- 6:28Speaker 4: I was in rare form yesterday because I got back
- 6:32Speaker 4: from I was on a trip to Vegas, and I
- 6:35Speaker 4: got back and you know, went to work whatever.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I was very exhausted because.
- 6:39Speaker 4: You know, even when you go on vacation, you get
- 6:41Speaker 4: back and then it's like, do I need a vacation
- 6:43Speaker 4: from the vacation? Right?
- 6:45Speaker 2: You just want to melt into your couch.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Yes. I was so exhausted.
- 6:48Speaker 4: But I did something I never do, and I unpacked
- 6:53Speaker 4: and put things away.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Wow, Like, what who am I? Did you buy a
- 6:58Speaker 2: lot of ticket right after?
- 7:00Speaker 1: Because your odds of winning the lottery are the same
- 7:03Speaker 1: as you unpacking when you get home from vacation.
- 7:05Speaker 3: My gosh, No, yeah, it was really.
- 7:09Speaker 4: I was very surprised I did that, and I washed
- 7:12Speaker 4: dishes and I was ready to go to bed at
- 7:14Speaker 4: a proper time.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I've never felt more like an adult in my life. Game.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I mean, I'm still riding the highly yeah. Oh man,
- 7:23Speaker 4: So when I get home, like I don't have to
- 7:25Speaker 4: unpack anything else?
- 7:26Speaker 3: What is this life?
- 7:27Speaker 5: Oh?
- 7:27Speaker 3: I love it.
- 7:28Speaker 4: I used to think that people who unpacked right away
- 7:30Speaker 4: were sociopaths. No, turns out I was living life wrong.
- 7:33Speaker 2: It feels nice when you get it done. Yeah, for sure.
- 7:36Speaker 2: What about you, Gabe? You know what's so sad?
- 7:38Speaker 1: There's something about when the stars in the universe they
- 7:42Speaker 1: kind of aligne. We have multiple times had little victories
- 7:46Speaker 1: on the same wavelength.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Oh that's right. I feel like you and I are
- 7:50Speaker 3: syncd up like bluetube.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yeah right, So earlier, what's today? Wednesday? So I think
- 7:54Speaker 1: it was on Monday or Sunday one of those days.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Corey was nice and did some laundry for me. We
- 8:00Speaker 1: don't that's not really how we do it at our house.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Like I just kind of handle my laundry. She kind
- 8:04Speaker 1: of just hands handles hers. Yeah, and but she was
- 8:07Speaker 1: nice and got some started for me and got it
- 8:09Speaker 1: in the dryer and all that. And what we do
- 8:12Speaker 1: is you've been in our kitchen, right. We have this
- 8:14Speaker 1: center island kind of thing, and then the kitchen table.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Well the kitchen table is kind of sadly it turns
- 8:20Speaker 1: into like folded laundry table until you know, you get
- 8:25Speaker 1: the I don't know, motivation to finally put the clothes away,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I finally put my clothes away or on that that
- 8:32Speaker 1: we're on that table for about two days.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Yesterday, say, I feel like two days is good.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I am pretty good about getting them
- 8:40Speaker 1: done pretty quick, just because it's like, hey, this is
- 8:43Speaker 1: an easy thing to not have my wife get annoyed
- 8:46Speaker 1: at me for. Yeah, I'm pretty good about getting them
- 8:50Speaker 1: off of the table and into the closet or whatever
- 8:52Speaker 1: pretty fast. But for some reason, you know, doing the
- 8:55Speaker 1: laundry just wasn't calling my name for forty eight hours.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Well, I'm glad you got it done.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I am too. I'm glad they're put away. On
- 9:03Speaker 2: the way, we have Ray.
- 9:04Speaker 1: We also have the tea coming up here on Big
- 9:06Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven, and once again, happy first official
- 9:09Speaker 1: day to summer with Happy Harry's rip fest underway today.
- 9:15Speaker 2: This is am I the problem. It's me hill On
- 9:21Speaker 2: the problem. It's me. We'll hear one side of the
- 9:23Speaker 2: story and with your.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Help decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 9:31Speaker 3: That's right, I am the problem.
- 9:33Speaker 5: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Are you team Reggie or team his wife on this one?
- 9:40Speaker 4: Gabe Angie settle a debate between me and my wife
- 9:44Speaker 4: over Memorial Day weekend. Coming back from Nashville. We stopped
- 9:47Speaker 4: to get some to go food for the flight at
- 9:50Speaker 4: some random Chinese food place inside the airport. She was
- 9:53Speaker 4: hungrier than I was, so we settled on sharing a plate,
- 9:56Speaker 4: but for the flight.
- 9:57Speaker 3: She figured she'd ask for.
- 9:58Speaker 4: An empty bowl so it would be easier to share
- 10:01Speaker 4: on the plane.
- 10:02Speaker 3: The lady scooping the.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Food said they're not allowed to do that, and she
- 10:06Speaker 4: explained why she wanted the bull. Lady understood but still
- 10:10Speaker 4: said she couldn't. So we get to the front of
- 10:13Speaker 4: the line to pay, and my wife leans into the
- 10:16Speaker 4: cashier and asks.
- 10:18Speaker 3: For a free empty bowl.
- 10:20Speaker 4: This lady said the same thing as the first one,
- 10:22Speaker 4: and my wife explains again why she wants the bull,
- 10:26Speaker 4: and again she was denied. I was embarrassed and irritated.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Then she got irritated that I was embarrassed. We didn't
- 10:33Speaker 4: let it ruin the flight, which, by the way, the
- 10:35Speaker 4: food sharing went just fine. But she doesn't get why
- 10:38Speaker 4: I didn't like that, and thinks she was right to ask,
- 10:42Speaker 4: what do you think I'm gonna tell you right now?
- 10:44Speaker 4: I'm team Reggie. Reggie is correct, that is embarrassing. You
- 10:49Speaker 4: already asked. I'm not saying don't ask, but like you
- 10:52Speaker 4: already asked, the lady.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Said no, I can't do it. She doesn't need any.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Explanation as to to go further.
- 10:59Speaker 3: And be like, well, this is why I want it.
- 11:01Speaker 4: That lady didn't need to know that she already told
- 11:03Speaker 4: you she can't do it, and then to double down
- 11:06Speaker 4: with the next lady and well can I have it?
- 11:09Speaker 3: And she says no, Well this is why I want it. Girl.
- 11:14Speaker 4: She does not care what reason she is not allowed to,
- 11:16Speaker 4: so she's not gonna do it, and that is embarrassing.
- 11:19Speaker 4: If I were the husband and witnessing my wife do
- 11:22Speaker 4: this and like there's other people in line and stuff like,
- 11:26Speaker 4: that's embarrassing. Pay for another bowl, if it's so important
- 11:29Speaker 4: to you, pay for another bull like I hate this
- 11:33Speaker 4: and I'm team Reggie, I would have been mad, especially
- 11:35Speaker 4: since he said the food sharing went fine. So then
- 11:39Speaker 4: she caused all this for no reason. Reggie am team Reggie.
- 11:44Speaker 4: What about you, Gabe? Because you are giving me a
- 11:46Speaker 4: look and I know you're not on Team Reggie based
- 11:50Speaker 4: on your facial expression.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Please go ahead.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I absolutely love this wife. I love this lady. I
- 12:01Speaker 1: have said this many times here on Big ninety eight
- 12:04Speaker 1: point seven. Okay, there is a world where I would
- 12:07Speaker 1: love to live in with this lack of self awareness.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I want to be this woman so bad as she
- 12:16Speaker 1: does not care that she was told no by one
- 12:19Speaker 1: and she just doubled down and ran it back. Here's
- 12:22Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Have you ever asked, you know, mom,
- 12:24Speaker 1: hey can I do this? And they're like no, And
- 12:26Speaker 1: then you go, well, you know what we do here?
- 12:29Speaker 1: We run it back and ask dad. And then you
- 12:31Speaker 1: ask dad and he's like yeah, sure, And then you
- 12:34Speaker 1: know that is real.
- 12:35Speaker 4: In fact, that was something growing up when my kids
- 12:38Speaker 4: are growing up, I was like, hey, if I say no,
- 12:40Speaker 4: that doesn't mean go ask your dad, right and vice versa.
- 12:42Speaker 2: See.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I love that a grown adult woman who still has
- 12:46Speaker 1: the abilities to go, you know what, Mom said, no,
- 12:49Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go ask dad.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I want to live my life like this.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Also, there at where it says a restaurant they couldn't
- 12:58Speaker 1: give a ball, all right, fine, and I guess I'm good.
- 13:02Speaker 1: This was at an airport. Yeah, so I'd be willing
- 13:04Speaker 1: to bet it's some big giant chain. What do you
- 13:06Speaker 1: mean you can't give out an extra bowl? Okay, but
- 13:10Speaker 1: you give three water cups left and right again. Just
- 13:13Speaker 1: give me another piece of plastic. Oh, now I understand
- 13:15Speaker 1: you got told no, just kind of deal with that.
- 13:17Speaker 1: YadA YadA, YadA. But going I'd ask every I would
- 13:20Speaker 1: ask every employee until I could get the one who
- 13:22Speaker 1: would say.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Yes, we are such different people.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I wouldn't do that, but I wish I could.
- 13:27Speaker 4: I think that they're like the restaurant. It probably is
- 13:31Speaker 4: a chain. You're right, and so it's like in the
- 13:33Speaker 4: grand scheme, they can afford to lose whatever.
- 13:35Speaker 3: But I don't like her.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Making the employees feel uncomfortable.
- 13:40Speaker 3: If I were one of the employees.
- 13:42Speaker 4: You don't have any annoying things employees in food service
- 13:46Speaker 4: have to deal with. Yeah, don't tack this onto their day.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Where like lady I said no, Well, but because this
- 13:54Speaker 4: like I don't need your reasoning, I already said no, yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 4: leave me alone. That is annoying. I'm team Reggie, but
- 14:00Speaker 4: I do find it amusing that you are team wife
- 14:03Speaker 4: because you just want to live your life with reckless abandon.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I would do anything to operate in this manner. It
- 14:10Speaker 1: would be wonderful.
- 14:11Speaker 3: What are your thoughts?
- 14:12Speaker 4: We do have this up on the Big ninety eight
- 14:13Speaker 4: point seven at Facebook page. Was his wife right to
- 14:18Speaker 4: try and ask for this free bowl? Or was it embarrassing?
- 14:22Speaker 4: We want to know your thoughts seven oh one two
- 14:24Speaker 4: eight oz one nine eight seven Give us a call
- 14:26Speaker 4: text us. I'm team Reggie gave his team wife. Well
- 14:30Speaker 4: there's what team are you on.
- 14:31Speaker 1: There's a lot of things that I nonchalantly don't care
- 14:34Speaker 1: about in life, m but self awareness is one that
- 14:38Speaker 1: I try my best to be self aware of what
- 14:41Speaker 1: is going on around me. I would do anything to
- 14:44Speaker 1: not care at all. How I look at one of
- 14:47Speaker 1: other being is incredible. All on the problem and gee,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and today we have very interesting am I the problem?
- 15:02Speaker 1: It's it's so funny to read the comments of people
- 15:06Speaker 1: when it's a husband and wife issue.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:08Speaker 2: I always kind of get a kick out of it.
- 15:09Speaker 4: I feel like it's like you're getting invited into their marriage,
- 15:13Speaker 4: and so I like when people comment. So Reggie and
- 15:17Speaker 4: his wife they were at a restaurant inside the airport.
- 15:21Speaker 4: They wanted to get some food to share on the plane.
- 15:24Speaker 3: She asked if they could have.
- 15:26Speaker 4: An extra empty bowl so they could share easier on
- 15:29Speaker 4: the plane. She was told no, So then she went
- 15:32Speaker 4: to another employee and asked, and they also said no,
- 15:36Speaker 4: and Reggie was embarrassed by that. His wife doesn't get
- 15:39Speaker 4: why that was embarrassing and why he didn't like it.
- 15:42Speaker 4: So are you team Reggie, which I am because I
- 15:44Speaker 4: think that is embarrassing, or are you team wife? Who
- 15:47Speaker 4: is it perfectly normal and okay for her to ask
- 15:50Speaker 4: not once but twice for a free empty bowl?
- 15:54Speaker 1: But this sounds like the most husband and wife like
- 15:57Speaker 1: Bickerman ever over It's something that really doesn't matter to
- 16:01Speaker 1: be honest, Yeah, but.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I like being right.
- 16:04Speaker 4: I seek validation, so I get where Reggie's coming from.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Julia said, this seems like a ridiculous debate to settle,
- 16:11Speaker 1: let it go. Why does someone need to be right
- 16:13Speaker 1: in this? Which is obviously very true.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Especially because it happened over Memorial Day weekend.
- 16:18Speaker 4: Clearly theake care still because that was a couple of
- 16:21Speaker 4: weeks ago, and so they're still talking about it. You
- 16:23Speaker 4: know what, thank you for coming to Gabe and I
- 16:26Speaker 4: on Big ninety eight point seven. Thank you for sending
- 16:28Speaker 4: us your am I the problem.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Albert is with you, Angie, he said, pretty embarrassing to
- 16:33Speaker 1: be told twice, unless she's a child, which, in a
- 16:38Speaker 1: sense I do understand like Reggie's wife, were you just
- 16:42Speaker 1: gonna go to every employee until you got the one
- 16:45Speaker 1: to say yes? Like how many times do you need
- 16:47Speaker 1: to be told they can't give out another free bowl? Right,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you know, before you kind of get it. I do
- 16:52Speaker 1: understand that. But then I do kind of agree with Nick.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I think I've gone more fifty to fifty now on this, Angie.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I do agree with what Nick said. Nick said, I
- 17:01Speaker 1: see both sides. First off, if you get told no,
- 17:04Speaker 1: let it go. It's a bowl. Okay, you're both adults,
- 17:07Speaker 1: you can figure it out. On the other side, though,
- 17:10Speaker 1: it's a plastic bowl. Hey, employee, it doesn't come out
- 17:13Speaker 1: of your paycheck. And that's a good point. Why is
- 17:15Speaker 1: this employee so attached to this bowl rule?
- 17:18Speaker 3: Because maybe they're rule followers. If I were an employee,
- 17:21Speaker 3: I would follow the rule.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I'm in how free bulls left it right? My god,
- 17:27Speaker 2: how free balls left and right.
- 17:30Speaker 1: We also did have Katie who said I wouldn't ask again,
- 17:35Speaker 1: but my dissatisfaction would be reflected in the tip.
- 17:39Speaker 2: What that seems kind of mean easy to.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Me because the employee was just doing what they were
- 17:44Speaker 4: instructed in the employee handbook.
- 17:48Speaker 3: I'm not team wife at all, and I normally am.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Destiny said, this is ridiculous to argue about, lol. But
- 17:55Speaker 1: I'm also a firm believer in teaching my child. If
- 17:57Speaker 1: one parent says no, don't go as the other, so
- 18:00Speaker 1: I wouldn't expect them to do it as an adult.
- 18:03Speaker 1: That is kind of what this wife did is Hey,
- 18:05Speaker 1: I got told no by one person.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Let me go try again with someone else.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Reggie, ask your wife how she was raised?
- 18:14Speaker 1: And then tarran This comments a little unhinged here, but
- 18:17Speaker 1: it says it's always a man that wants validation for
- 18:21Speaker 1: something so insignificant. Your wife is confident and seems, by
- 18:24Speaker 1: your telling to have asked politely and non confrontationally. So no,
- 18:28Speaker 1: you're not right. It's ridiculous and insecure for you to
- 18:30Speaker 1: literally go to a radio station and try to put
- 18:33Speaker 1: your wife down and get back up for something this stupid.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Good Lord, I hope you get therapy. That's hell of
- 18:39Speaker 1: work to be done. That seems a little unhinged.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Sharen, was this your husband, Well, that's.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Kind of the thing.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It's like, well, Terren, she's also a grown lady, like
- 18:48Speaker 1: an employee said, she can't get a bowl. How many
- 18:51Speaker 1: times she's supposed to be told no before at clock
- 18:54Speaker 1: store that she can't get an extra bowl, But I
- 18:56Speaker 1: still Angie. As an employee, I would never tell someone
- 18:59Speaker 1: they can't have an extra bowl. No, I'm not handing
- 19:01Speaker 1: out three four five, but I'll hand out an extra bowl.
- 19:04Speaker 2: I'm the worst rule follower ever.
- 19:06Speaker 4: If you're ever looking for extra tickets to something.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Don't come at me. Got a game.
- 19:17Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 19:20Speaker 5: good news on Big ninety eight point seven I need.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Sometimes the best kind of good news isn't about one person,
- 19:31Speaker 1: It's about an entire community. This week, thousands of people
- 19:35Speaker 1: from across the FM area are going to gather at
- 19:38Speaker 1: Happy Harry's rib Fest, and for five days, neighbors, friends, families,
- 19:43Speaker 1: visitors will come together and enjoy some great food, live music,
- 19:47Speaker 1: a little friendly rib competition, and some of the nation
- 19:51Speaker 1: with some of the nation's best rib teams. It's one
- 19:54Speaker 1: of those events I think that just remind us of
- 19:57Speaker 1: what summer in the Red River Valley area they fame
- 20:00Speaker 1: area is all about. In a world that might feel busy,
- 20:03Speaker 1: maybe even divided at points, there's something special about seeing
- 20:06Speaker 1: people put down their phones and just enjoy Happy Harry's
- 20:10Speaker 1: Ribfest with their friends, family, community members, neighbors, classmates, fellow
- 20:16Speaker 1: students who go to colleges here in the fem area.
- 20:20Speaker 1: It's just really kind of cool whenever there's a big
- 20:21Speaker 1: community gathering that most people seem to love and are excited.
- 20:25Speaker 2: To be a part of it.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a good time. It's one of those we
- 20:28Speaker 4: are more alike than we are different, and you can
- 20:31Speaker 4: really see it at Happy Harry's Ribfest when we're all
- 20:34Speaker 4: just having trying to have a good time, enjoy some
- 20:36Speaker 4: good food, enjoy the atmosphere and the scent in the air.
- 20:41Speaker 4: If for that alone, go to Happy Harry's Ribfest.
- 20:44Speaker 1: And then a big reminder obviously check out Happy Harry's
- 20:47Speaker 1: Ribfest with the kids every day if you would like.
- 20:49Speaker 1: But if you do have some kid els and you
- 20:51Speaker 1: want something to do on Saturday, there's no better time
- 20:54Speaker 1: for them to be at Happy Harry's Ribfest than on
- 20:57Speaker 1: Saturday with a day that is really geared toward a
- 20:59Speaker 1: lot of fans fun.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:00Speaker 4: The NDSU buys in tailgates from eleven to two. You
- 21:05Speaker 4: can meet student athletes, coaches and thunder that is.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Like the best photo op is when you take a
- 21:10Speaker 3: picture always.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Sundar is always the most popular person that.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Yes, one hundred, not that you can even call them
- 21:17Speaker 4: a person technically at the point, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 3: But yeah, you can get pictures and autographs.
- 21:23Speaker 4: There's also the Touch a Truck, which kids are obsessed
- 21:26Speaker 4: with Touch a Truck. I'm really excited for my kiddos
- 21:29Speaker 4: to come on Saturday and enjoy all the activities. There's
- 21:33Speaker 4: prizes and then Games to Go is going to be
- 21:36Speaker 4: there with their inflatables and that's always a good time.
- 21:38Speaker 4: So happy Harry's rib Fest. I mean, kick off the weekend.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Extra early because it starts today.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and don't don't let Angie lydie. Okay.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Andi likes Touch a Truck because she likes hanging out
- 21:52Speaker 1: with the hunky firefighters.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Listen when you're right, you're right.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Sometimes, you know, an event like this is exactly what
- 21:59Speaker 1: we need for the start of summer. And you know
- 22:02Speaker 1: my favorite quote, if you don't hear it, is broken Crans.
- 22:05Speaker 1: They still color. And the world is full of nice people.
- 22:07Speaker 1: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
