- Barry: yeah, speaking of that, had some input. not, iridescent is not a color. It's a Jen: That iridescent. Iridescent is not a color. Barry: shade. Shaun: It is okay. Jen: Yes. Shaun: It is multiple colors. It's multiple colors. Jen: No, it's not. It's an Barry: It's a shade. Jen: effect. It's a color effect. Barry: It's an effect that you put on any Shaun: An effect Barry: color. Shaun: today the NBA decided that they didn't find that there was enough evidence to say that the Clippers were circumventing or circumventing the salary cap with the Kawhi Leonard getting money from all of these different sponsors and things like that. What are your thoughts, Barry? From a tree Barry: from a tree company Shaun: From a tree company. Well, the the s the scoreboard company too. Yeah. They never planted a single Barry: that never did anything. never, Jen: Did anything with him? Shaun: tree, by the way. Dang, why can I not think of his name right now? What is going on? Why am I going so blank right now? my gosh, why am I going blank? I know. Why am Barry: I can't either, bro. was like, I'm going blank. I'm literally going blank. I don't have it. Jen: come on you guys! Lord. He is all over the place right now. His skits are amazing. Barry: I know he is. Shaun: Hey everybody. Welcome back to Bald Enough to Say It. We're now episode number 12. A full dozen. Time to crack some eggs. I don't know why I just said that. That has nothing to do with episode number 12. Jen: Word vomit. Shaun: A dozen of eggs, you know. I mean, I don't know. Barry: It's a dead illusion, bro. Shaun: You know, it is. It's just, it's one of those days. But welcome. Barry: That's tired exhaustion. Jen: Hehehe Shaun: It it's it's the heat. Let's blame it on the heat. Yes. Too much. It just keeps beaming down. Barry: It is hot bro, you ain't wrong, it was hot. Jen: Mm-hmm, but for real though, even my AC is just hurting, having a hard time keeping up. Shaun: Yeah. I need to mm. I'm glad you said that. I need to change my filter. That definitely needs to happen pretty soon. Jen: Go do that. Shaun: Yes. I just hate going into the attic. It's so hot up there too. Jen: You have to go to your attic to switch change your filter. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: What? Ugh. Barry: That does not sound fun. Shaun: Yeah, my Jen: Yeah, no, I would hate that. Shaun: yeah, my actual unit is in the attic. So I have to go Jen: Ugh. Shaun: like in the garage and then in the attic and it's hot as I'll get out up there. Yeah. Either in the morning or super late at night and just get it done. I mean it's hot either way. Barry: Knocked that out in the morning, Jen: yeah, I'm sure. Yeah, I'm sure that's just an oven. Barry: That's too hot it's just been baking all day if you go at a night man, I mean but at least it's cooled off in Shaun: Yes, true. Let's have more time. I don't know. Barry: True. You shouldn't get it. yeah, we gotta talk about that. We gotta talk about you going to Jen: You better go change your shirt. There you go. There you go. Barry: I'm still living that beach life, so I got my beach color on. Shaun: the beach. But look at you got your cup. You got your cup right there. You've got your banner behind you, so you're still on the crew. You're good. And you all can have one too. You can go and get something just like us. Yes. Barry: You can, you can. Shaun: but as we always like to do it, get started with our week. Since I I actually haven't seen or talked to you all in a pretty good amount of time. Well, Barry, Jen: I know. Shaun: we did a few days ago, but Jen, how have you been, man? Jen: Honestly, it was a rough one. I was sick like all week long. It felt like the longest week. Shaun: Nice. Jen: Really, yeah. And it was, I felt so bad because my kids started school today. And so normally we do it big, like the week before going back to school and we usually have like a back to school bash kind of thing. And we didn't get to do any of that. Like we were at home Barry: Yeesh. Jen: all day, every day, all weekend. We did have to take them out to get new shoes, so we did that on Sunday. We went and got them some new school shoes. But yeah, besides that, those poor kids. They're like, what is this? Barry: They get some J's or what? Shaun: Hang. Jen: No, two of them got Adidas and one of them got Nike. yeah. No J's, but yeah. Yeah. Shaun: You can't go wrong either way. Barry: Yeah, those are good brands, but. Shaun: I think I I do have well, we talked about that. I do have more Nikes, but I do also have a pretty extensive Jen: You do. Shaun: amount of Adidas too. Jen: Adidas to you. Barry: You just got a lot of shoes in general, Shaun: It's kinda gross, I'm not gonna lie. Yeah. Jen: You do, yeah. I really feel like you have a whole room just for your shoes. 100%. If you like went and displayed them, for sure. Shaun: So you can't go wrong either way. I probably could, honestly. Yeah. I've actually got I've got two pair in the box in my living room that I haven't gotten in my closet yet. Jen: Ha ha. Shaun: Still in there brand new. Barry: Lots and lots. Shaun: Yeah. That's cool though. It's cool that they got some new shoes. They're ready for the school year. Jen: Yeah. Barry: Dude, I remember shopping for school clothes was like, I went so, like I just got so into it trying to plan my fits. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: He used to lay it out the night before. Got all excited. Barry: Heck yeah, bro. Hell yeah. Got them fresh. I have big feet, so it's hard to shop for shoes. Jen: Especially the first day back. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah, same. Barry: had big feet. Yo, from when I was 10 to 15, my shoe size matched my age. Shaun: D Barry: Then my feet shrunk a little bit. Jen: Interesting. Barry: Yeah. Dude, Shaun: Sasquash feet over there. Barry: I got long, skinny bones. Girls always make fun of how bony and skinny my feet are. like my veins show on my feet. Like a little, yeah, Jen: You got feet hands or hands feet. Shaun: Mm. Barry: something like that. I do. I do got some good looking feet for sure, but they are skinny. They're skinny and long, Shaun: I mean you wear flip-flops ninety percent of the time, so you're not ashamed of it. That's yeah. my god, here we go. Here we go. Jen: Haha. He said, look, they might be skinny and long, but they looking good. Barry: but they look all right. I mean, they're gonna look Jen: Ha ha ha! Barry: better once we ever do these pedicures that y'all keep talking about. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: That's true. Well when whenever Jen Barry: But now one time they just let me go back and just because they didn't have any like really that kept asking. were like, yeah, we don't got those 15. So they're like, you know Shaun: Mm. Barry: what? Just come back here. I'll show you what I got in 15. So they literally took me to the back and the shoe store. Shaun: Still. Jen: Okay. Barry: Killeen Mall, bro, way back in the day. Killeen Mall. Shout out Killeen. Copperas Cove, Jen: Shout out Killeen. Shaun: Right. Barry: really. But yeah, shout out the area. So. dang. Shaun: Man. I used to always go to Houston. That was like the big trip. Yeah. Like we would always go like tax free weekend. We would take a trip down to not necessarily Jen: Thanks for your weekend. Shaun: Houston, but maybe like spring or something like that. Barry: I go to outlets out there what the one thing I like the Katy mill outlets out in Katy Shaun: Katy. We we went to Katy Mills once, I think, but that mmm No. Barry: But I can only imagine. Jen: What ain't it? Shaun: Too too too many people. It's too much. Barry: dude, Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: that's how the ones in San Marcos are man. It's insane. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: Especially tax. I was like, you know, the 8 % off ain't worth it to me. Jen: I would never go during tax-free weekend. Barry: Now I'm Shaun: Yeah. Barry: going during the week or if I do any Jen: Yeah. Barry: try and save any tax free, it's all online orders. I'm not step afoot in these stores when people are out here trying to save that eight. It is not nicer online. Yeah, no back in the day you couldn't you had to be in be there. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah, that's true. Well now that you can do that though, you couldn't do that back in the day. Yeah. You had to be there. Just like Black Friday. Like Jen: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Shaun: if you wanted to do Black Friday, you had to be there in person, which Barry: Yeah. Jen: standing outside in line at 3 a.m. waiting for them to open. It was a time though. Shaun: Ridiculous. Yeah. Barry: Yeah, never, no, I never did that. Never did I do that ever. I guess I'll go say, you are we talking about the same reason? Because Shaun: It was. What a time to be alive. Like seeing people fight over TVs. Jen: Yeah, we would go through all the ads on Thanksgiving. Yeah, yeah, it was a great time. Barry: people are nuts. Shaun: I mean, if you're gonna trample somebody for a toaster, I mean Might as well. Barry: You might as well make it worth it, huh? You can just go all the way. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yeah, you have a story to tell. You were you were just so thank you were just so thankful on Thanksgiving and now you're trampling somebody for a toaster. Yeah. I need new stuff in my life. Gosh. Yes. Jen: There you go. Makes you appreciate the toaster more. Barry: Nah bro. The day before now you don't care. You don't care no more bro. That thanks is gone. I need new things to be thankful for. But yeah. Nah. I just always enjoyed school shopping. Now I hate it because it's me spending the money. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. 'Cause it's your wallet opening up now. Jen: Yeah, because now you see that price tag that comes with it. Shaun: Man. Yeah. Jen: It hurts every time. Barry: Every time. I got a story, but I'll tell you about my little story. Shaun: Ooh, okay. Jen: Okay. Shaun: Well, Jen, hope you get to fill in better. Hopefully you're not the reason that there's a breakout Jen: Thank you, we're getting there. Shaun: in school at the beginning of the year. I mean, I'm just saying you are patient zero. Your kids are gonna take it to school and they're gonna get everybody else sick. So parents in the area, it's Jen. Barry: I mean, there's always going to be a breakout school, bro. It don't matter. Somebody is going to bring it and it's going around. Jen: Better cut it out. None of my kids are sick, okay? Somebody, yeah. No. Barry: As long as you ain't the one that does lice. Lice is the worst one to bring to school. Yeah, bro. no. Jen: my gosh, knock on wood, they have never had that. my goodness. Barry: We've had lice once in our youngest and that Jen: Ugh. Barry: literally took me two hours to comb her hair, Jen: I believe that. Shaun: Pink. Barry: With the little fine tooth comb inch by inch. Jen: Mm-hmm. You gotta wash all the sheets, Shaun: Did you do like the Jen: all the pillows. You gotta wash Barry: Mm-hmm. Jen: everything. Barry: You know, hot, hot, super hot. Jen: Yes. Barry: Yeah. Shaun: Mm. Jen: Thankfully, I haven't had to deal with that yet, so we'll Barry: stuff okay though. Jen: see. Shaun: We're just gonna say it's never gonna happen for you. You're gonna be good. Never have to deal with it. Barry: I mean, luckily for real ball people don't got to worry about I was kind of scared with my beard, but. Jen: Hey. Shaun: True. Well, apparently my people don't have to worry about it either. I've I've always heard that. I don't know if it's true or not, but I've always heard that it doesn't survive in the hair. Barry: Really? I would feel like like black people's hair, I was gonna say it's pretty dense. they probably that Shaun: Yeah. Barry: would make sense because that's how you can Jen: Hmm. Barry: kill them naturally Shaun: Yeah. Barry: is like by mayonnaise or stuff that suffocates them in the hair. So I could see that that does make sense. Good to know mean, true. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Yeah. So I don't know. Could just be an old wives tale. I don't know, but Jen: Hmm. Could be, don't know. Barry: You never know anymore. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: It's like we were talking about the Mandela effect. Like you heard, know something's Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: true, but is it really? Shaun: Our whole lives were a lie growing up. So who Jen: Ha ha ha. Barry: feel like a lot of it was. Shaun: knows? Which is also kind of crazy because we share so many things. Like I feel like there was nothing unique about my childhood at this point. Because I feel like all the time on social media I see people who make reference to something. And I'm like, What? Yeah. Like I never thought that somebody else would have seen that or did that. And Barry: Yo, saying the same thing, like I went through that too. Mm-hmm. Yup. Jen: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Shaun: I don't know, it's wild. Barry: 100%. Well, I mean, it's like they say, bro, you're always thinking and like, you're so unique, but we're really not that unique. We're all just in the rat race, bro, just trying to make it get that cheese. So. Jen: Yeah, we're all just part of the human experience. Yep. Mm-hmm. Shaun: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Man. What if this is a pearl a parallel universe? Barry: Well, I don't know if so, then we are what we are. I'm not. Jen: Wouldn't that be interesting? Yeah. Shaun: yeah. Barry: I'm not going to be the one that figures it out like Neo or anything. Shaun: But if there is another you out there, would you ever want to meet it? Really? Yeah. Jen: Probably not. I don't think, yeah, I Barry: What if it's the better version that just makes you Jen: don't think that I would. Barry: look like crap? Jen: Go you. You just stay over there. Shaun: But but if it is the better version Barry: Yeah? Shaun: of you, wouldn't you want to wouldn't that push you to be a better version of yourself too? Barry: No, I'm pretty happy with who I am in this, whatever this life is. Shaun: I mean, yeah. I am too. I feel like I'm a pretty good person, but Barry: I'm a pretty good person. Jen: Yeah. Barry: really, I mean, the one thing Shaun: There's always space to get better. Barry: that would be to Jen: Yeah. Barry: just not have to worry about that. But I mean, I don't really think that's Jen: Yeah. Barry: ever going to happen. So not in this world, Shaun: That would be nice. Jen: Not in this economy. Barry: not where we're headed. So. Shaun: No, right. Should've bought some of those Powerball tickets while I could have. I did. Barry: I bought, we bought five and we got one number Jen: Did you? Barry: out of however many we could have gotten. 30, one out of 30, yeah, we hit one. So, wasn't meant to be. Shaun: Out of like thirty or something like that. Jen: Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Shaun: Man. Hey, you can't win unless you play though. So you played. Barry: That's right. That's right. We did wasted my $10 bill. Jen: Hahaha. Shaun: Could have spent money on dumber things though. You gave it a shot. Barry: And I'm true, I have. Jen: True. Shaun: Yes. Man. Well, Barry, how about you, man? You you mentioned the beach. You're still on beach time. Barry: Yeah, I mean, I got to get back to reality time, but now the beach was nice. But Jen: Hehehe. Barry: last week we were doing the same thing that Jim was talking about. We went school shopping Monday and Tuesday night. But we went to the outlets in San Marcos and this was a story I was telling you. But so we go into American Eagle and our youngest is very. in her style and what she wears and how she wears all the good stuff. She just turned 11. So coming into Shaun: Wonder where she gets that from? Barry: the preteen years, I mean, that's what I like. I probably like the more understanding when it comes to that, because I was Shaun: Okay. Barry: I tried all things when it came to fashion, but I was always trying to figure out what I wanted to be. But so with that, as much as I hate spending money, it's like, I mean, I get it. Like you want some dope, you want some unique. Well, they go in before me. I figured like me and my oldest were figuring or finishing up at another store, like paying for something. And they went to the American American Eagle. So they come in and she's super stoked about this like purple maroon striped kind of off the shoulder sweatshirt with a matching short set. Jen: Ooh, okay. We love a matching set. Barry: It was a good looking outfit, but I was like, hey, OK, is this really school Shaun: Age appropriate. Barry: clothes? Because this doesn't look like a school appropriate. This just looks like some things are cute that you would want to wear. But is it really going to go to school? And I got shot down for that. Like, just leave her alone. She's excited about it. I'm like, all right. Jen: And dad? Barry: So then they find another outfit. It's like a same kind of material like casual but shorts, I mean short sleeve shirt and then long pants. I was like, yo, that's definitely PJs. What are we doing? Jen: Hahaha Barry: And Becca shot me down again, like just she's trying them on. She really likes Jen: Yes, Becca Barry: them. I'm like, yo, we looked Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: at the price on these things and Becca's like, nah. And I'm like, we might need to do that before you're sitting here Jen: Hahaha! Barry: guaranteeing that they're going she gonna walk out the store with these clothes. So she looks at the No, I think I look at the top, the like pink and maroon thing. Sixty dollars for the shirt. At American Eagle. I don't know, I never really Shaun: Dang. An American Eagle? When did they get expensive? Jen: American Eagle, no American Eagle's been... Barry: wore them. So I don't know. really. Jen: It's always been kind of up there. Barry: And Becca's like, it's 60 for the set. And I'm like, no, that's just the shirt. The shorts were 40. So she had a hundred dollar outfit and she bought nothing else. I'm like, so we're really about like, are you going to tell her? Am I going to Jen: This is what we're doing. Barry: tell her? She was like, we're not telling that. Then she says, like, she's wearing these to school because what are we doing? So we had little this. I mean, the shorts. Jen: Then she gets dress coded and sent home. Shaun: All right. Barry: Now she could wear the shirt if she does on like a T-shirt underneath her. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: can't. I don't really know. Middle schools. It all depends on the administration and how Jen: That's true. Barry: serious they take dress code. But Jen: Don't let her show her shoulders, because by golly. Barry: She ended up, I mean, luckily they, guess there Shaun: Right. Barry: was a little bit of a discount. They went all full price, but it was not a cheap fit. And she did wear it at the beach like all weekend. again, that's, Jen: Aww. Barry: but then I feel like my parents used to me that like, don't wear it before school because you're going to ruin it. And Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: so that, you know, me Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: out here saying the same things that my parents told me and falling on deaf ears, falling on deaf ears. So. Jen: Yeah, here she is at this beach, yeah. Shaun: Cause you're the fun one. They're not gonna take it serious. Barry: I mean, I'm just... Jen: He's a softy when it comes to the girls. Barry: comes to my girls, I'll be trying. But so Shaun: Exactly. Yeah. Barry: that's how the week started. And then yes, we we ended at the beach on Friday. Yo, the longest trip to get there. I Jen: What happened? no, why? Barry: mean, so I mean, we we left on time, forgot a couple things like I was going to take some of the merch to get to my family. And we were kind of just running to try and get out the door. Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: Cause I was like, man, we don't want to get there too late. Cause we have rented golf carts and all this good stuff. Right. So got out the door, forgot a few things, whatever. Just drive went smooth. We get there. It's Shaun, Have you ever been a poor day? Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: Yeah. So, you know, like when you get down to the, the last little highway and you make the left to go onto the actual, like the long two lane road to the Island. Shaun: To like cross over. Yeah. Barry: So we're there at that light waiting and we just hear sirens coming. And we're like, God. our family was up ahead, Rebecca's dad and his girlfriend were up ahead of us. So of course we started like texting and they were like, yeah, something's happening. So then like more even come to like five went by us, like Shaun: Peace. Barry: flew by us. And this was like just after four and we were like 10 minutes behind Becca's dad. He said, yeah, they got the road blocked off. Jen: my gosh. Barry: And there was like four cars in front of him. So it had just happened like maybe five or 10 minutes Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: before. So he's like, we're going to pull off. And there's like a little like Mustang Island, like visitor center right Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: here. Just meet Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: us there so we can kind of figure out what we're going to do. Well, then we're like traffic starts to stop. So he's Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: like, yeah, they're not letting anybody through. It's four to six hour delay because Shaun: Cheese. Barry: it's a horrible accident happened. Somebody ended up passing Jen: my gosh. Barry: away. Jen: No. Barry: Well then, yeah, it was bad. ended up, guess, I don't know if Becca's dad or maybe even Becca ended up going on to, I don't know if it was Corpus News online Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: or whatever, but apparently somebody got rear-ended while they were leaving the island. And when they got rear-ended, it forced them into oncoming traffic and two people passed away. So Shaun: Damn. Barry: apparently it was really bad. And as I say, I have... As much as I'm complaining, it's just like, that wasn't us. And I feel bad for whoever Jen: Yeah. Barry: lost Shaun: Yeah. Barry: their family or friends. Jen: Mmm. Barry: but yeah, major. So then we had to literally turn around, drive up through Corpus to try and come back down on the north side of the island and get across on the ferry. But of course, everybody else who was going to the island had Jen: Hmm. Was trying to do that. Barry: to do the same thing. we didn't even get on the island to like almost seven. So it was like six hour trip to get down Shaun: Dang. Barry: there. Shaun: Could have gone to Padre. There Barry: But we got to ride a ferry. We haven't ridden a ferry. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: you go. Barry: Well, I've ridden a ferry, but it wasn't like that. I've never done the Padre Island ferry. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Hmm. Barry: So if you ever want to have a little fun, but it's like the quickest ferry trip ever. You're like, that's it. It's not even five minutes. Like, you're Jen: Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: Ha ha ha. Barry: like, I can see where we're going. It's Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Hmm. Barry: like, why don't they just build a bridge? But OK. It's Shaun: Mm Barry: interesting. Shaun: I mean, probably more money this way. Barry: I get, no it's free, it's a free fairy, yeah. It's a free ferry Jen: No, I think it's because they need it to be open Shaun: it's free? It's a free ferry? Jen: for the ships and stuff to come in. Shaun: yeah, that way. Yeah. I mean they do it in Galveston, yeah. Barry: You build a big old bridge for ships to go under. But it's all good. It was still a fun experience. guess it is too short of a canal to build a bridge if you're talking about barges maybe. I don't know. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: I don't know. Barry: Because barges do go through there. Some big old boats. Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: so I bad for my brother and his girlfriend. They didn't end up getting there till like nine because they got up a little late and the traffic was horrible. That was the only way you could have gone on the island for the remainder of the day, think, till like late that night. But the beach was good. We got two six-seater golf carts. We're cruising around. Jen: That's my favorite part about going to the beach. Barry: Shout out to who is at Sand Castle Rentals, cart rental. They cut us a little good deal. They're kind of a new startup cart rental place. So if anybody's headed to Port A this season, check them out. Jen: There you go. Barry: Had a dope little house with five bedrooms. Had a putting green, and I was out there putting all weekend. Practicing Shaun: Bang. Jen: Ha. Barry: my long putts as Shaun likes to say the long, hashtag the long strokes. Shaun: Long strokes. You got the long the long putts out there. Barry: But Jen: goofy. Barry: Beach Day was cool. I sent you all that video. So those kites we caught a great weekend Shaun: Mm. Barry: because apparently those don't happen all the time. I need to see if I can get the video. there was a dude. It was insane. Jen: Yeah, was it like a festival or something? Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. There were like thousands of kites. Wasn't it? Barry: But yo, most of them stayed and light up at night with LEDs. So at night it's even Jen: cute. Barry: a more cool experience. So we drove down on the beach on the golf carts after dinner Saturday night and checked them out. I need I think my brother's girlfriend took some good video. I need to see if I can get some. It was really, really cool. Jen: That's cute. Shaun: Nice. Barry: So we had a pool. That's all we did yesterday. was there. I should have the lazy day. Just chill by the pool. It was nice. I was beat. You're Shaun: So I wanted to do it at the beach though. Yeah. Cause it's always so much work. Yeah. Jen: These are my favorite kind of days, yeah. These are my favorite beach days. Barry: telling me, me, my father-in-law and my brother went and set up two canopies and got our spot. It wasn't too bad Saturday, surprising. But I guess it was maybe later in the day because we went Jen: End of season, yeah. Barry: like at 10. We did like three and a half hours. at the beach and we were all ready to go. Chill. Shaun: Yeah. So hot. And that sand is Yeah. Barry: It was hot, but it was nice to get back and get in the pool and chill there. Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: yeah, it was cool. Shaun: That's awesome. Barry: And then smooth trip home today. Shaun: Nice. Well condolences to whomever it may have been, if you lost your friends and family in that accident. Barry: Yeah man, very sorry about that. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: I'm glad that you all made it there and back safely and sounds like had a good time, Barry: Yeah Jen: Yeah. Shaun: even though you had that delay, but still making those memories. Barry: No, it makes you appreciate it. got to, I was going to say, we got to get all our family there safely and have some good memories. So definitely Shaun: Yeah. Jen: There you go. Barry: appreciative of that. Shaun: That's what it's about. Spending time with the family before school starts. We always get so busy, like in our everyday lives. So Jen: Yeah. Shaun: like just being able to spend time with your friends and family and do fun stuff like that. It's worth it. Yeah. Barry: Yep. Yeah, I always feel Jen: Take it, take the opportunity. Barry: bad for my daughters because they don't have any cousins. Like we were talking about last Shaun: Yeah. Barry: time, how, you know, cousins, it's just them, the only kids. It's my brother. like, I mean, Shaun: That's something like I don't feel like do white people not have cousins? I feel like it's not a thing. Jen: Mm-hmm. I know, same with my kids. Yeah. Barry: my sister, no. And then my brother, he's like, I don't know if I'm gonna have kids now. So like, like Becca's has, I mean, I, like I said, I had Shaun: Yeah, so I'm like, man. I don't know why people don't have cousins. I mean it Yeah. Jen: I grew up with a ton of cousins, but... Barry: one set and I wasn't really cool with them close. I mean, I'm cool with them, guess when I see them, but I wasn't close with them. And Shaun: Yeah. Barry: then Becca's two sisters both have children, like one child each, but they're like in their early 20s. So again, it's just the age. It's just not anybody around there. Jen: gaps. Shaun: Big goat. Barry: Our girls ages. So said Shaun: Yeah. Barry: that on the way home, I was like, sorry, don't got cousins that fun Jen: Hahaha. Barry: with. I was like, least y'all got each other. Hopefully y'all are appreciative of that. It could just be one Jen: There you go. There you go. Shaun: Exactly. Yeah. Barry: of y'all by yourselves. for the whole weekend with a whole bunch of when they need to, yeah. They still butt heads from time to time. Shaun: I mean they seem like they vibe really well too. I mean yeah. Of course. Jen: Yeah. I mean they're sisters. Sisters are gonna Shaun: I mean siblings, yeah. Jen: butt heads anyways. Barry: Yeah, but no, Shaun: Exactly. Barry: they had a good time. Shaun: Such is life. Well, nice, man. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Glad you had a good one. I mean, for me, I didn't do anything over this last week. I I can't I honestly can't think of anything. You were talking about school shopping. I did I don't have children, but I did school shop for myself. Jen: Hey! Shaun: Got a couple pairs of shoes, a new backpack. I I don't Barry: Shoot, I need a new backpack? This fool, got a backpack. Shaun: need one, but I wanted one. Jen: Yeah, and they're on sale, so why not? Shaun: Yeah. So on sale, tax-free. Barry: kind of backpacks you get. Shaun: a Nike Elite. So it matches Jen: Him and Nike. Shaun: it matches my duffel bag. Okay, so catch this. Jen: Ha Shaun: I have I have a white Nike duffel bag and that's the one I've been using that for years now, probably like six or seven years I've been using that bag. I love it. and then I saw that they have a matching backpack. I like, bet I'm gonna get the backpack. Guess what else they had? A matching lunchbox. Jen: Crossbody. Barry: The matching, yes. the lunchbox. Jen: Lunchbox. Shaun: So I got a matching lunchbox too. So now I got whole set. Jen: Ask him if he uses a lunchbox or takes his lunch anywhere. Hell no, but he's got the lunchbox. Shaun: Not yet. I Barry: Probably not. Shaun: got it. Barry: Probably not. Shaun: And I'm going to I I like how you're throwing shade at me. I'm going to start taking my lunch to work. Barry: He's gotta get the materials before he can do it, Jen. You can't do it without what you need. Jen: Okay, you right, you right. And I forgot you're in person now, Shaun: Yes, exactly. Geez, Jen: so you can, you have a reason to take your lunch. Shaun: I am in person now, so I can have a reason to take my lunch. I can take my lunch, go chill, hang out. So I'm actually gonna be picking up some stuff tomorrow on my way or as of recording tomorrow. Barry: What you gonna be making for your lunch, bro? Shaun: I'm gonna be a child. I'm going to Sam's or I ordered. Jen: We love that. Barry: Straight up PB and J's, you're getting uncrestables bro. Shaun: I placed a Sam's order. And I got some lunchables because they had lunchables. So like a six pack of lunchables. Jen: love and get you some lunchables. Shaun: I got a couple of those. And yes, I did get some uncrustables too. So I've got uncrustables. Yeah, Barry: this guy straight up kids lunch bro. Jen: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Shaun: basically. They the people at Sam's probably think I have children because this this order. Yeah, they're like yeah, they're like, he's definitely getting ready to like pack his kids lunches. Barry: You Jen: Yeah. I'm like, aw, this guy getting stuff for his kids' lunches. Barry: all the stuff for the back to school for his kiddos. That's hilarious, bro. Shaun: But nope, it's for me. I'm gonna be taking it to my adult job. But yeah, so I don't know. That's exciting. That's what I did. And also sprayed. I I try to do like quarterly sprayings around my house because there's construction all over the place and bugs and stuff like that. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: so I did that, took care of it. I was supposed to do it last month, but I finally got around to it this weekend. So that's it. Super. Jen: Hashtag adulting. Shaun: Hashtag adulting. I'm I'm over it, honestly, but it is what it Jen: For real. Shaun: is. I've been doing a lot of car searching. So hashtag adulting for that too. Yeah. Jen: why? Shaun: I think I'm gonna get an EV. Barry: Trying to get that EV life, bro. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: okay, okay. Shaun: So I've been looking around trying to see what it is that I may want to get. Because Ram is tripping. I mean, they introduced theirs like five years ago and they still haven't dropped it yet. The Ram Rev, they they've been talking about it forever, Barry: black and Shaun: but it hasn't come out. I really wanted to get it, but if they're not gonna release Jen: Mm-mm. Shaun: it sometime soon, probably not gonna happen. Barry: You're gonna be out here in a cyber truck watch. Shaun's gonna get a cyber truck. He's gonna get one. Shaun's gonna get one. Yeah. Shaun: I'm not getting a cyber truck. A buddy of mine said that too. He was like, You should just get a cyber truck. I'm like, no, I'm not getting a cyber truck. Jen: Please don't get a cybertrap. I am. Shaun: I'm not. I don't I honestly don't even want a Tesla. If I got a Tesla, it would probably be a Model X, but I don't think that I want. Jen: You should get one of those, the Mustangs, the SUV Mustangs. Yes, they're really nice. Shaun: I looked at those, the Mach E I've looked at those two. Yeah, they do look really nice. I've never driven one, but I mean they look really nice. yeah? Shout out, Garrett, man. That one's coming forever. Yeah. Jen: Garrett got one. It is super nice. I know, shout out Garrett, living the good life. It was very nice. Shaun: Man, I might check those out then. I know I've been looking at a lot of Cadillacs. Cadillac has a few EVs that are pretty nice. Barry: Get the caddy. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Yeah. So I've been looking at those. Jen: I haven't even seen theirs. Shaun: I think it's called they've got Alyric. They've got I don't even know what they're called anymore. But they've got three different ones. And then of course the Escalade IQs. But can't afford that. Not spending Jen: Hmm. Shaun: a hundred and forty thousand dollars on a Barry: That's bonkers. Shaun: electric Jen: I mean... Shaun: an electric vehicle first of all. But then an Escalade, why not just get the Barry: You don't want another mortgage? Shaun: basically, I mean that's basically what it would be. Jen: Whatever, we've already talked about it on here at one point. Like even just normal cars are $70,000 now for a new one. So it's not that Shaun: That's true. Mm-hmm. Jen: much more expensive than just a normal car. Shaun: Yeah. I mean, I think you were talking about like a Highlander or Sequoia or something like that. A Sequoia? Yeah. Jen: Yeah, Sequoia. I really want a Sequoia. Barry: Sequoia, this is like the top of the line Toyota joints. Jen: I think that's going to be my next car. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: And like base is like 70. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah, it's stupid expensive. Barry: crazy bro Shaun: Catch me rolling around on a Prius before I do something like that. I don't know. Be in there packed like a Jen: Not the prius Barry: For sure. Shaun: sardine in that thing, but we'll make it happen. But yeah, that was Jen: So funny. Shaun: that was basically my week. So just been kinda searching around. I'll let y'all know if I find something. Bury you and have to Jen: Yeah. Shaun: wrap it. If I do find something, so get ready for that. Wrap and tint. That's gonna have to happen probably. But Barry: Let me know. Always ready. Let me know. You know. Jen: There we go. Shaun: I know, finally do that that pearl. We'll make it happen. Barry: yeah, speaking of that, had some input. not, iridescent is not a color. You can get black iridescent, Shaun: An effect off of what? Barry: you can get white iridescent, you can Jen: That's not a color. Barry: get gold iridescent. It's Shaun: Mm. Barry: a sheen that's put on. Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: So that is not a color, sir. So back to your friend quiz, we get those points back. Yeah, we do. Shaun: Whatever. No. Y'all do not get those points. No. Jen: So. We get that point back. Shaun: Cause I mean y'all still didn't say white. Jen: That's true. Shaun: So you s no, you still don't get the you still don't get the points. Jen: But white wouldn't have been correct either if we would have said white. Barry: I said pink and pink is a part of the Shaun: I mean Barry: iridescent spectrum so technically I got it right. Shaun: I mean any color is a part of the iridescent spectrum Jen: Yeah. Shaun: depending on what angle you're looking at it from. I feel like you're not both right. No. No. You didn't say iridescent, so it doesn't matter. You don't know me. Just get over it. It's it's fine. It is what it is. Barry: True. So we were actually right if we would have said it exactly. Yeah, I think this is a full circle moment. And I think we get those points for sure. Yeah. my gosh. No, you Jen: So I feel like we're both right. Yeah. I feel like we're really in a circle here. We get those points back very. We do. You Barry: just wanted to ask questions. I was going to say you just wanted to ask questions you Jen: don't know you, okay? We know. Barry: knew we wouldn't know the answer to. Shaun: No. I mean, I had gotten over it, but now my feelings are hurt all over again. So thank you for ripping that band-aid off, Barry. I appreciate you. Barry: This guy this guy Shaun: Man. Jen: Hmm. Shaun: But speaking of this guy, Kawhi Leonard. Jen: Dun dun da! Barry: Yo Shaun: Bro, so okay, the news came out today. Jen: Tell us all that happened. Shaun: We're recording this on a Monday, by the way. So when you all Barry: you Shaun: see it on Thursday, we're recording this on Monday. today the NBA decided that they didn't find that there was enough evidence to say that the Clippers were circumventing or circumventing the salary cap with the Kawhi Leonard getting money from all of these different sponsors and things like that. What are your thoughts, Barry? From a tree Barry: from a tree company Shaun: From a tree company. Well, the the s the scoreboard company too. Yeah. They never planted a single Barry: that never did anything. never, Jen: Did anything with him? Shaun: tree, by the way. Barry: yeah, that's what they said. They said if he would have planted one tree, this would have all gone away. One tree, bro. He could have just went and put one Shaun: Yeah. Never planted one single tree. Barry: tree in the ground and he could have got his green. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Got his green. pun intended. Barry: You know, bro. Shaun: Man. Yeah, I don't I don't know. I think that this is a problem for the NBA. it doesn't. Barry: It doesn't look good because I've seen multiple reports that show that they can show that the money was unjustifiably given because the Shaun: Yeah. Barry: endorsement or sponsorship didn't yield a beneficial relationship to the actual companies. It was just money paid out. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: But which is crazy that now they're coming back and saying that they can't connect it or there's, guess, not enough evidence. Shaun: I mean, I feel like even if you think it's not gonna survive arbitration, you have to take it just to make a point. Yeah. Yeah. Barry: Why wouldn't you try and at least yeah, make it sure like show that you try to do the right thing. Shaun: I don't know. It's Jen: Why do you think they don't want it to be out there? Barry: Because he's one of their premier players that Shaun: Yeah. Barry: they could still kind of use his coattails to get viewership and a big trade is pending because of investigation. So now that trade can go through. Yeah, now the trade can Shaun: Mm-hmm. Which apparently now it's gonna be okay. It's gonna go through, yeah. Barry: go through now that this has been resolved. Shaun: Which benefits Jen: Hmm. Shaun: both teams. So you probably have both teams that are fighting for it. Yeah. Barry: It does benefit both teams and the NBA. Yep. Shaun: He's now gonna be back in Toronto, which means that that's gonna make that market bigger. So they're gonna they're gonna want those people to start to watch again. And then Barry: helps spread the market in Canada. Shaun: the Clippers, they're Jen: Hmm. Shaun: now gonna be a little bit younger. They're gonna have a team that's gonna be more Barry: Yeah. Shaun: fast paced in that brand new arena that they just built. I mean, it it only makes sense that the Barry: It benefits a lot of people, Jen: Hmm. Barry: Jen. Shaun: Yeah, that it goes through, but it's just it it just seems so corrupt. Barry: Again, like we talked about bro, capitalism Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Why do you think it's bad? Barry: and greed. Jen: Why do you think that, like, do you think there should be a cap and it should be held? Or you think there shouldn't be a cap and people should just be able to pay whatever? Shaun: Well there is. Barry: There is. No, I agree with the salary cap, but the CBA Shaun: Yeah. Barry: that was agreed upon this last go round has really limited teams to be able to compete for championships over multiple seasons. Like as soon as you. Yeah, Shaun: Yeah. It's it's hard to keep your team together. Jen: Hmm. Barry: it is, especially if you have a lot of good guys who are should get paid. Then Shaun: Yeah. Barry: it's hard to keep those teams together. So Celtics were probably one of the more recent OKC is probably about to have to pay that bill. If they aren't already, which I feel like they're trying to Shaun: they are already are, yeah. Barry: get ahead of it by the trades that they made this off season. So Shaun: Yeah. Barry: it's it is sad. I could say the Celtics. I mean, that's part of the reason why Jalen Brown got traded in two years ago or two seasons ago now. One JT got hurt. That's why they had to trade away a couple of the other pieces from their championship squad because it's. If they didn't get down below these set limits on different aprons of money, then they're going to get a huge tax bill. And it's just hard to make money as a franchise that way. So you got to go back down below those salary caps because they have two levels of first and second apron. And there's different penalties depending on which one you go above. Shaun: Depending on which one you exceed. Jen: What is that supposed to do for the league? Like make it more fair between? Barry: They say parody yes, yeah fairness Shaun: Essentially, yeah. Because you have these major markets who have tons of money. You can't just let them have all of the Jen: Mm-hmm. Dominate. Shaun: players, yeah. Like you still have to have some kind of parody throughout the league. I think that it's Barry: Yeah, but it's created it. Shaun: a yeah. I think that it's a a bad look for the NBA because it I think it sets a bad precedence for future contracts because Barry: Mm-hmm any future you that have these kind of questionable transactions Shaun: Yeah, now it's almost like, okay, well, if you can't prove it, then what does it matter? Yeah. So why would I not have these other loopholes? Exactly. Barry: we can circumvent the salary cap. Jen: like without a doubt, then yeah, it kind of makes the salary cap a moot point. Yeah. Barry: Why wouldn't I utilize a loophole that just got pretty much solidified? Shaun: Yeah. So I think they've Jen: Yeah. Shaun: basically baked in a loophole for this Barry: Hmm. Jen: Hmm. Shaun: current CBA, which I don't think expires for a couple of years. So Yeah. Barry: I so. think 2030 maybe? Shaun: So they're basically now gonna have all of these different contracts and there are a lot of big contracts that are coming up in the next season. Yeah. Barry: Next off season is a big free agency group. Shaun: So I d I don't know. I think it's just a very dangerous precedence to set. Barry: It's setting them up for a lot. Yes, agreed. Setting them up for a lot of questionable transactions in the future Shaun: Yeah. Barry: now. Shaun: But hey, it is. I mean, if you just want entertainment sheer entertainment value, Barry: But money talks. Shaun: why not? Go for it. Jen: Okay, so I mean, with that, would you rather have like, you want them to kind of push the envelope and whatever just for entertainment purposes of the NBA being entertaining? Or would you want the love of the game? Barry: No, I would much rather you have people who can Shaun: No. Barry: like, I mean, so here's the thing, and I'm not trying to push the Celtics, but they drafted well in 10 years ago with Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum. Well, those are two arguably max players. You may not think that they deserve a max contract, but they are, they're max players, Shaun: They're max players for sure, yeah. Barry: right? And so they drafted well, but then they got penalized because if they kept them at max value, those two people would take up 70 % of their salary cap. Jen: their budget. Barry: Yeah. without them having to go over that. I feel like if you draft well, you should be able to ride some of that off as almost like, drafted them, we've kept them, these aren't traded players, we should get a Jen: Yeah. Barry: discount on the salary cap hit for what we're actually paying them. So that would then really Jen: That makes sense. Barry: incentivize people to try and draft well and get people and develop Jen: draft more. Barry: them. I mean, and if you hit on draft, why should you get penalized is the way I see it. And that's for any team. It's not Jen: Yeah. Barry: just Boston. Like if you're out here drafting well and developing, you shouldn't get penalized. You should be able to have longevity in that. But to Shaun's point, you should be able to just go out here and buy the best team. And then because you're a big Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: market team with more money and that would make it hard for other teams to compete. Yo, yo. Shaun: w which is exactly what we're seeing in the NCAA right now. We're seeing like all of these big schools that have tons of boosters and money that just doesn't stop. They're able Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: to basically buy all of these players to come to their schools and Barry: Yep. Shaun: like do whatever they want, pull them out of the transfer portal. I can't even be mad at it because I'm a UT fan. U T does it. So I mean I can't even be mad at it. But Yeah, th there's Barry: Yo, I mean the system needs to be revamped in college for sure. They're just Jen: He said, it up. For sure. Barry: out here without any type of guard rails. Yeah. Yep. It's for all these other like power five Shaun: There's too much money in the SEC and the Big Ten, honestly. Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Barry: even outside of those Jen: Ooh, Barry: two. Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Jen: what do you guys think about the controversy of letting college players make money off of endorsements and stuff like that? Where do you land? Barry: I have no problem with it. I think there needs to be guardrails. think there should be Shaun: Zero problem with it. Yeah. Barry: potentially like a salary cap in to Shaun's point to where, yeah, I mean in school Jen: And that. Barry: size, but that's the thing. I don't have the answer to what fixes the problem, but because Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: I mean, now these kids have. universities, the NCAA has made crap ton of money off billions of dollars off these kids. And so they should get Jen: making a ton of money off of them. Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: a piece of that pie and they should Shaun: Yeah. Barry: be able to sell their name, image and likeness just like any other athlete Jen: Yeah. Barry: does, especially if the corporations and the leagues and universities are making money. Yeah, they should because they Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: deserve it. They've built that. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: They've built that notoriety. They've built that following up. But again, to Shaun's point, it's Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: They're just out here. mean, it's literally pay for play. The transfer port is wide open. There's nobody. Yeah, there's nobody that's Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yeah. Barry: going to stay in one school because they're just going to like, all right, season's over. Who's going to pay me the most? That's it. That's Jen: Who's gonna pay me the most, yeah. Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: it. I mean, for a lot of these people, mean, but Jen: Yeah. Barry: then I was reading and not reading, maybe listening, but you're seeing a lot of these kids come out of high school making a lot of money. Well, then they don't start to care as much to develop into those next level. So then they start to Shaun: Mm-hmm. Barry: lose that edge and lose the talent that they've developed, Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: you know, in the years building up to high school. So then Jen: Yeah. Barry: you're seeing a lot of these kids fall off or they just kind of burn out in college and then they're not making those leaps to the professionals because they their incentivize their incentive became the money and not, you know, the drive to continue to get to that money. They got it. Yeah. Jen: and not the, That's true, Shaun: Not to hit the ultimate level. Jen: mm-hmm. Barry: So it's kind of a double-edged sword. mean, Shaun: Yeah. Jen: Yeah. Barry: I don't know. Shaun: And that's the problem with it. I don't think that there is a right answer. Like, Barry: Mm-mm. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: like I don't think I think that that's why it hasn't been solved yet, because Barry: Yeah, yeah. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: you have to give them the opportunity to be able to make something off of their own NIL. But Barry: Yes. Shaun: also you can't just let these schools just take advantage of them the way that they have been, because these schools are making billions upon billions of Barry: Whatever. Just giving them whatever bro. Yup. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: dollars. Off of these kids putting in all of this hard work. They've been working on this for their lives. And yes, they are getting their education. They're getting to play the game that they love and yeah. Barry: It's generational money too, where a lot of these kids haven't seen or never even dreamt of that money. Nah. Shaun: Ever in their lives. Yeah. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: So I don't I don't Jen: Yeah. Shaun: know. I don't think that there is a right answer for it, which is difficult. Barry: But yeah, then you got boosters just throwing millions and millions of dollars into these pots too. it's, I mean, Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: like you say, you get a good group of boosters at these big universities. It's hard for all these other small universities to compete. Shaun: Yeah. I think the the biggest danger to college sports right now, not even necessarily danger, but a very difficult situation for college sports right now is betting, sports betting. I think that that Jen: yeah. Shaun: is very damaging for college sports. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: If you're a pro, this is this is literally your job at that point. I get it. Barry: Yeah. Yeah. Shaun: But when you're a kid and you're playing for a school and like, yeah, you're probably getting NIL, but You've got these people who are just badgering you on social media, sending you all of these different kinds of things Jen: Mm-hmm, yeah. Barry: Mm-hmm. Shaun: because you didn't hit their parlay and all of this other stuff. Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: I think that that's very dangerous for for young people. Yeah. Barry: Crazy bro. It is. Now with social media, everybody's accessible too. So yeah, they're going to Jen: Yeah, for sure. Mm-hmm. Barry: get the message some way, somehow if they really are Jen: Yeah. Shaun: No yeah. Barry: out there like that trying to grow their brand. People are going, yep. Shaun: And that's that's the problem, is like, yeah, you have to have this image of yourself out there so that you can make the money off of it. But then that also exposes you to those people who are like, Well, man, you you couldn't get five more points or you couldn't score one more touchdown or get three more yards or whatever it is and yeah. Barry: You have to be marketable. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yep. Yep. Mm-hmm. It's crazy, bro. It is. Jen: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Barry: It is a dangerous, slippery slope. Shaun: Yeah. So Jen: Yeah. Shaun: I don't know. But again, Vegas, big money. Like how you how do you fight the money? Barry: Hashtag money talks, bro. Jen: Yeah. Shaun: Yes. Hashtag capitalism. This is like this is what our country is. So I don't know. We'll see Barry: Yeah. Shaun: though. We'll see how it all plays out. But yeah, I don't know. The NBA, you were talking about like teams not being able to stick together. That's also something that the Spurs are about to go through in a couple of years. They've got such a good young core. Barry: Mm-hmm. mean luckily Wimby took a discount, but they are still gonna have to make choices Mm-hmm. Yep. Can't pay them all not what Shaun: Yeah. They're gonna have like five people that they're gonna have to pay. And you can't. Like you simply can't do that. Yeah. Barry: their value is Shaun: So we'll see how it plays out. Maybe we see more of these Kawhi Linder type deals happening around the league. Hopefully not, but Barry: I hope not bro, because like you say, it's going to be another slippery slope. You start just letting Jen: Mm-hmm. Barry: people get paid other ways. Then Shaun: Yeah. Barry: what's the, what is the point of a salary cap Jen: Yeah. Barry: for the 1st or 2nd Shaun: Yeah. Barry: of April? Shaun: First and separate apron and like all of the penalties and things that come along with it because they're gonna circumvent it and you're gonna say that you can't prove that they Barry: Yeah, they're gonna circumvent it. Prove Jen: Prove it. Shaun: are, so what's the point? Barry: it is dangerous, Jen: Mm-hmm. Shaun: Yeah, I don't know. But let's switch it up a little bit. Jin, you have a game for us that I'm not Jen: Yeah. Shaun: gonna lie, you've kind of given us a sneak peek. You all haven't heard it yet, but Jin has kind of given us a sneak peek about what it's about and I'm s I'm scared. So Jin, you wanna tell us what it's gonna be about for the crew, for the crowd? Jen: Yeah, so I've seen it on social media a few times and I think it would just be really funny to see how in tune with celebrity culture these two are. So Shaun Shaun: No. Jen: hasn't had a chance to be, Barry: Probably not that much. Shaun: Not at all. Jen: Shaun hasn't had a chance to be a part of a quiz. And so I felt like this was just the perfect moment to let Shaun be, use his whiteboard and be a part of the quiz game. So. Here we go, celebrity face challenge. Barry: Okay, hold on. Are we getting more than five seconds? That's all I want to know. we get to double it up. Okay. It was a little ridiculous. Just making sure. Shaun: Can you name them all? Jen: I'll give 10 seconds because 5 seconds was absolutely ridiculous. 5 to think, 5 to write. Shaun: my god, so sensitive. Jen: Yeah. Spelling Shaun: spelling does not count, correct? Jen: doesn't count. Barry: No. Shaun: Okay. Are we looking for Jen: but Shaun: first name, first and last name, stage name, or any of the above or what? Okay. Jen: Any of the above. I'll give a point for any of the above. Barry: Any of the above, okay. Jen: I need you to say them out loud too. So write it on your board and when you flip Shaun: Yeah, that's fair. Jen: the board over, you can say them out loud. No, I honestly... No, Barry: Gosh, this is going to be horrible. My brain is so tired right now. Jen: you've got it. I really think I made it pretty easy. I kept it very current culture, so current things that are on... No! No, it won't. Barry: I hope. That's my problem. That's going to be the problem right there, Jen. Shaun: It's easy for you because you were looking at their names while you were making it. Barry: Yeah, exactly. Jen: No. Barry: You are very pop culture person. Shaun: Very true. Yes. Jen: Listen, I think you will surprise yourself. don't. So the first one, maybe not. This one might be difficult. Barry: All right, Shaun, you got this. Shaun's gonna, he's gonna break my undefeated streak on the show. Shaun: Doubt it. Jen: We'll see. Don't get worried after this first one though, because this first one is kind of hard. think not. I don't know if either of you will know, but no, I swear I put some easy ones in here for you guys. Okay. First one. Here we go. He's Shaun: my gosh. And it's only gonna get worse. There's like two easy ones first. Barry: It's gonna be super hard and it's only gonna get harder from where we start. Jen: all over TikTok Barry: bright. Jen: right now. Shaun: I've never seen this guy in my life. Jen: He has a new show out on Netflix right now. Shaun: He looks like you're generic TikToker.
