- 0:20Mayby one. Welcome to Blessed Dismester of the True Crump Podcast. I don't
- 0:23care here, what's to say? Hasty? All right, So we're back.
- 0:28We're going to Virginia, and we apologize for our absence as you probably
- 0:38meant as you As it's been mentioned on previous episodes. We are moving and
- 0:43I'm traveling a lot for my new job. It's same company, but new
- 0:47job role, and so I'm gone even more leading up to this move.
- 0:52Who are you what? I don't know who you are. It's showing up
- 0:57at my house every weekend. There, I know I've been. I used
- 1:00to travel a lot for work before, like, but it was more scheduled.
- 1:03Now it's every single week. I'm having to fly, you know,
- 1:08to Texas and stuff. So it's limiting our time that we have to record
- 1:12and things like that. But and plus we have a lot going on.
- 1:15We were trying to move, like buy the house over there, get the
- 1:22house ready here. We had like contractors here to finish up a couple because
- 1:26we weren't planning on moving this soon. So all of our DIY stuff had
- 1:30to get some contract some help. So that kind of sucked, you know
- 1:36how that is they tell you it's gonna take like two days and it takes
- 1:42seven weeks. You know, that's how they go. So anyway, so
- 1:46what we're gonna do is we're gonna put this episode out this week and then
- 1:49we are actually in the process of moving. I got to go this week,
- 1:56and then we close on the house the next week. Whenever you get
- 2:00this, we're closing on the house the next week and moving that week.
- 2:02So there's gonna be no episode, and then the next week is Thanksgiving,
- 2:07so we'll have a new episode at the beginning of December sometime. So it's
- 2:12gonna be just be prepared not to hear from us for like two weeks.
- 2:17Three Max, let's do. We're doing our best here people. It's just
- 2:23a lot. There's a lot happening right now. There's a lot of balls
- 2:25in there. I got Stew's balls that happens, I got other balls.
- 2:34It's all just a lot of balls in the air, a lot of balls
- 2:37coming at you, a lot of balls flying at my face. It's just
- 2:40kind of like college. It's just anyways, that reminds me of that time
- 2:51I was a substitute teacher. Remember that you had a lot of balls flying
- 2:57No, no, you pervert. I was in there. I was like
- 3:05substituting for Luck as a pe coach, and I think I texted you or
- 3:08I said, I haven't had this many balls flying up. They were playing
- 3:13dodgeball, and I think I said, I hadn't had to be this many
- 3:16balls flying on my face since college or something, and I can play dodgeball.
- 3:23Well, this was several years ago. I haven't substitute taught in seven
- 3:27or eight years, so this was pre pandemic. You know, they're not
- 3:30allowed to do anything these days. But anyway, so but that's where we've
- 3:35been. We've been super super busy, and it's just going to continue on
- 3:39for the next couple of weeks and then leads into the holidays. So and
- 3:44then of course we still have these children here. We got to keep alive.
- 3:46So it's like, ah, it's a lot. Yeah. So anyway,
- 3:51so we thank you all all the Patreon supporters. We thanks for hanging
- 3:55in there. We really appreciate it. And if you'd like to support the
- 4:00podcast, even though we're fixing me gone for two weeks, sign up and
- 4:04a half. Yeah, sign up. Yeah, we've done worse. Okay,
- 4:06we've been we've gone, been gone. We're like contractors. We say
- 4:10two weeks and then we we don't come back for two years. We have
- 4:15Facebook, Instagram. Yeah, so find all that stuffs in the notes.
- 4:23All right, Well, it's already late now, so we're gonna go ahead
- 4:25and get into this episode. Out of Virginia. So. Hannah Elizabeth Graham
- 4:30was born February twenty fifth, nineteen ninety six, and reading, England,
- 4:33to Sue and John Graham. Hannah moved with her family to the US when
- 4:38she was about five years old. Her family settled in Virginia and began embracing
- 4:42the American lifestyle. Hannah attended West Potomac High School, where she was popular,
- 4:46made good grades, and excelled at softball. Her senior year, she
- 4:50was even named captain of the team. Now, when it was time to
- 4:54go to college, she chose the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
- 4:58On September twelfth, twenty four teen, Hannah had gone to dinner with friends
- 5:01at mcgrady's, which was a local pub, and she was planning on heading
- 5:05to two separate parties later that evening. She eded to the first party and
- 5:11spent some time and then headed off to the next at around one twenty am.
- 5:15Oh my god, I'd be like, I know, I'm sorry,
- 5:18I have a slight cough. I'm the one that's sick. I know,
- 5:23but I've been sick for weeks. Like I know, you gave it to
- 5:26me. I know. I remember. I think we missed an episode cause
- 5:28I was sick. Well that continued on for I'm still I'm still dealing with
- 5:31it. I had an antibiotic and it's just lingers and you gave it to
- 5:35me. But yet I boot and rally for this podcast. Okay, well
- 5:38I'm here too, Stuart, with a slight irritation you aren't with you and
- 5:45in my throat. Okay, we weren't last week? Okay, well no,
- 5:47it wasn't. It wasn't about I gotta stop coughing. I might have
- 5:51to go get some water. Anyways, it wasn't about last week. Wasn't
- 5:55about being sick last week. It was about being exhausted stew and being so
- 5:59busy. Okay, I could have booted in rounity all right. Anyway,
- 6:04So she's up at one twenty am and we can't even imagine such things.
- 6:08It's ken thirty, right, now and we're hard. I mean whenever I
- 6:11was even younger, like whenever I was younger, Stu still wanted to go
- 6:15and everything that. I'm like, it's nine pm in the house. We
- 6:20should be home. Yeah, so we don't leave our house at one twenty
- 6:26am anymore now or heading to our second party. If we're leaving a party
- 6:30that late, we're definitely coming up. Yeah, we're definitely like we're done.
- 6:34So anyway, At one twenty Hannah texted her friend saying she was trying
- 6:38to get to the party, but she had become lost. She was around
- 6:43the pedestrian mall in Charlottesville, and she was not familiar with the area,
- 6:48and she was going to a new place where this party was. So she
- 6:51wasn't familiar with where she was or where she was going. So she's lost.
- 6:56I don't know what a pedestrian mall is. A pedestrian mall is like
- 6:59an it's like an outdoor mall where it's like I've never been to the Mall
- 7:05of America. It's not enclosed. Okay, it's not an enclosed it's like
- 7:12basically an outdoor mall. It's like it seems more like two like you could
- 7:15have like strip malls, but they're all all connected, and then it's like
- 7:19a pedestrian area to walk in the middle instead of like a road going everything,
- 7:24so it's like an outdoor mall. I would say, I don't think
- 7:28you know what I saw photos all right, So that next morning that was
- 7:34Hannah never made it to that next party or anything like that where she was
- 7:39heading to, and so friends and family knows she was missing and they contact
- 7:44police. Now police they begin pulling video surveillance from around the areas where Hannah
- 7:47was last seen. They see her leave her apartment and stop by the pub.
- 7:51Now she seems a little tipsy. When leaving the pub alone, she
- 7:55takes off on foot and a nearby gas station catches her running down the side,
- 8:00and so they're thinking it was just weird. She just I saw the
- 8:03video. She just took off running, you know, like, but no
- 8:09one was chasing her though, So they're like, well, looking at the
- 8:11video and there's nobody chasing her, there's no cars following her. Supernat a
- 8:16ghost. No. I don't know if she was like drunk and just felt
- 8:20like running or got freaked out, but yeah, no one was chasing or
- 8:24anything. And like they said it wasn't like they didn't feel like she would
- 8:28get spooed because it was a pretty safe part of town. It was very
- 8:31well lit, so they were they couldn't figure out why she was running.
- 8:35So she heads towards that pedestrian male and they see Hannah. She's she arrives
- 8:41and just before her entering the frame, they see a larger African American man
- 8:46on screen with dreads and he has a very distinct look because he's just like
- 8:50a real big guy and he's got these dreads. You know you're gonna pick
- 8:54him up on camera easily, and so he's easy to pick out as the
- 8:58cameras are pictures on the camera going round. So the man was walking away
- 9:01from Hannah, but later you see him turn and come back on a different
- 9:05sidewalk, so there was like a front sidewalk he's walking. Then all of
- 9:09a sudden, you see Hannah on the other sidewalk that's a little further back
- 9:13in the frame like on because it's a pedestrian mall steward itself, and you
- 9:18see him meet up with Hannah. Well, they end up walking together.
- 9:22Everything's like real calm, like they you know, like she knew him,
- 9:26maybe she was even meeting him there or something like that, so she wasn't
- 9:30trying to get away from him or anything like that. He had his arm
- 9:33around her waist and everything. So they end up going to the Tempo bar,
- 9:37but there is no video showing this. This is known to police based
- 9:41on eyewitness reports. So that's the last guy she's seen with. Is as
- 9:45this pedestrian mall. Is this a guy that she seemed to be familiar with
- 9:50or something like that. So after they find this video footage of Hannah,
- 9:54Hannah, they don't know who. They can't identify this man and that was
- 9:58the last scene with her. So oh, the case ends up going cold.
- 10:01So they start this happened in twenty fourteen, so they start looking,
- 10:05please start looking at other cases that might be similar, and they ended up
- 10:11finding out that they had like a series of incidents with like young women by
- 10:16themselves and something happening to them. Really, yes, Stuart, really tell
- 10:24me more. Okay, you tell us wow. On October seventeen, two
- 10:28thousand and nine, So this is looking back at a case that from five
- 10:33years prior. You think, well, I'm just filling in the gap,
- 10:37Stuart. Well, we told them twenty fourteen. Now it's okay. Well,
- 10:39you know, sometimes I don't listen all the time. When I'm listening
- 10:41to a podcast, sometimes I tune out and I'm like, oh shit,
- 10:45how they get to this point? I'm glad someone like me is like,
- 10:48yeah, this was five years ago. I'm sorry, what just go.
- 10:52Morgan Harrington, twenty years old, was last scene alive at a Metallica concert
- 10:58at the University of Virginia Arena. Somewhere. I would never be caught dead
- 11:03a Metallica concert. Why not? I know that's true because that's I would
- 11:07send you to go with one of your friends. You would you have?
- 11:09I'd send you to go with another female, just so I wouldn't have to
- 11:13go. You did? When did I do that for the Megadeth concert?
- 11:18Another female? Oh no, you sent me with a male. I sent
- 11:22you with your male friends. Okay. Yes, there was a lot of
- 11:30women though that were reliving there. Eighties days, hair hair band days.
- 11:35Yes, now she had left, but that's how much I didn't want to
- 11:39go. I was just like, I don't care. Here's the condom,
- 11:46just in case STU. I did not say I would not say that,
- 11:48but I really didn't want to go to that concert, so I was happy
- 11:52to let him go and drink, and well we had a child. Yeah,
- 11:56somebody had to watch it. I also just didn't want to go.
- 12:00Yeah. She had left her friends and purse behind while at the concert to
- 12:07go to the restaurant. At some point she ended up outside the arena and
- 12:11fallen and scratched her face. She went through the wrong She got drunk of
- 12:15the concert and she went through the wrong damn door, ended up outside of
- 12:18what it sounds like now, without her purse and looking disoriented. Security at
- 12:22the arena would not let her back in it, obviously they wouldn't if you
- 12:26don't have a ticket. Even if you've got a ticket that's been torn,
- 12:30they still won't let you in. Like sorry, Yeah, you can't be
- 12:33going in and out of the arena no, without any idea or ticket stub
- 12:37or anything. Well, even if you had, even if you had an
- 12:39idea and ticket stubb and you left the arena the door, say no,
- 12:43readmitutes, they'll just I know, but security shouldn't some twenty year old drunk
- 12:48out there by herself defend for herself. That's like fucked up. Well,
- 12:52yeah, it kind of is. I would hope that if our daughter showed
- 12:56up, it ended up, and when she's twenty drunk was a concert,
- 13:00the security team wouldn't just be like, so sorry, man, can't come
- 13:03back in here. Good luck to you. Try not to get murdered.
- 13:05Twenty years from now, when she's at the Rolling Stones concert, no,
- 13:09probably like justin Bieber or something. Why would she go to that. I
- 13:16don't know what's the current band, Taylor Swifts probably still going to be around
- 13:22be forty thousand dollars a ticket. I had that kind of money. Now
- 13:26it is assumed that Morgan decided to try and hitchback to her friend's house.
- 13:33What did I say, hitchhike? No, you said hitchback, hitch hitchhike,
- 13:37hitchhike back to her friend's apartment. Now, she was last seen on
- 13:41a bridge on foot, and that was also the last time she was saying
- 13:46alive. Yeah, so I'm sure in her drunken state, she thought I
- 13:50can catch a ride back. Noah, just throw my thumb out. Yeah.
- 13:54I think she was a bit of a free spirit too, especially if
- 13:56she's a Metallica concert. I feel like that's you don't know nothing. I
- 14:01feel like, this is a certain type of person. What I've been a
- 14:09Metallica concert like there or four times? I know you have, Stewart.
- 14:13I'm just saying it's a certain type of person, like you don't know who
- 14:16that type of I would never go to Metallica concert, and I would never
- 14:20try to hitchhike home because I think they're more a little bit more free spirited
- 14:24than I. What just because they Yes, yes, that's the stereotype I
- 14:33have placed in my mind, and you will not convince me otherwise. No
- 14:37one's hitchhiking home from the Taylor Swift concert. Stewart, I'm sure they have.
- 14:43You've been to Taylor Swift? No, No, I don't even know
- 14:48how to get tickets. I think it's like some magical portal. Although I
- 14:52heard she's performing in Paris. We could go there, watch Texas. No.
- 15:00Now, her family and friends began looking everywhere for Morgan with no sign
- 15:03of her. Metallica even made videos were questing information on the whereabouts of Morgan.
- 15:09Her family knew that after several days of Morgan being missing, the odds
- 15:13of her being found alive were low. As we all know, anybody that
- 15:18listens to true crime no, the first forty eight or the most important.
- 15:22Yes, they even have a show called that. Really, I thought I
- 15:24just coined that Frise. After week, three weeks after she went missing,
- 15:30a T shirt of Morgan was found draped on a bush. It was taken
- 15:33in for testing and confirmed to have Morgan's DNA and an unknown DNA on it
- 15:39as well. Other than that, there were no more clues in Morgan's disappearance,
- 15:45and their worst nightmares came true when in January of twenty ten, three
- 15:48months after she had gone missing, Morgan's body was found on a farm about
- 15:54ten miles from where she had gone missing. Her body was too far decomposed
- 15:58to having any u useful evidence, and the only thing they had to go
- 16:02on was the T shirt DNA, And they put that DNA in the FBI's
- 16:07database and it came back to an unknown DNA profile and another case from two
- 16:14thousand and five. Yes, so this is a things are piecing together.
- 16:19Well though those two were pieced together, but still the assailant is completely unknown.
- 16:23They just have this other DNA from this case. And so this case
- 16:27occurred, like I said, back in two thousand and five in Fairfax,
- 16:30Virginia, a woman who remains unnamed, was walking she didn't want to share
- 16:37her name, was walking to her home from a supermarket at night when a
- 16:40man approached her. Now, she became very nervous, and that is when
- 16:45all of a sudden, he just attacked her. He dragged her to a
- 16:48field and became began beating her and then started raping her. Now, a
- 16:52man happened to pull up in the parking lot and had his lights facing the
- 16:56empty field where they were. So there's a supermarket. He drags her off.
- 17:00There's like this field out there with some trees behind it, and so
- 17:03he dragged off in that field, like not too far from where. Like
- 17:07I said, it's a parking lot. So thankfully, this guy pulls in
- 17:11has his lights shining. And this is when the attacker he flees because he
- 17:17sees that the man's lights are on him. And the guy gets out of
- 17:19the truck. So he flees into the woods. And the man tried to
- 17:23go and catch him, but he couldn't. He couldn't catch up with him.
- 17:26He was already gone. The woman was taken in for medical assistance and
- 17:30to collect evidence. Now they were able to get that DNA sample from under
- 17:34her fingernails where she had scratched her assailant, and they were also able to
- 17:37get a sketch of the man. He was an African American around six feet
- 17:41tall, two hundred pounds, with short hair and a mustache and a beard.
- 17:45Now he was a big guy and he could easily overpower his victims,
- 17:49like this lady was like real small, So he just dragged off very easily.
- 17:55Once the police had the match to the woman who was attacked in two
- 17:57thousand and five, the description of the assailant and that sketch of the man,
- 18:03this heightened the suspicions of the man that Hannah was last seen with.
- 18:07Yeah. See, they didn't have any DNA on that guy. They didn't
- 18:11even have Hannah's No there they were. They were so they were looking at
- 18:15these cases where these young this isn't like a dangerous this isn't something that happens
- 18:21all the time. So when they had like a young girl the same age
- 18:23as Hannah, they look back at these unsolved cases and found Morgan. And
- 18:30then from Morgan's case, they're like, okay, this piece is to this
- 18:33two thousand and five case. And then they're like, oh, in this
- 18:34two thousand and five case, we have a sketch of a guy that looks
- 18:37just like the guy from Hannah's case. And then they're like, Okay,
- 18:41all these are connected, All these are highly deed. Possibly exactly the DNA
- 18:45that's matching in Morgan and the other girls is the same person, most likely
- 18:51based on the sketch that they had that matched the person that was seen with
- 18:56Hannah in twenty fourteen. So that's how they're just going back can piece it
- 19:00together based on similar cases that had been that had occurred in the area over
- 19:04the last decade or so. So anyway, police still did not know the
- 19:10identity of that man, but it was very similar to the sketch of the
- 19:15man that attacked the woman in Fairfax. Yeah, which is crazy that the
- 19:18guy had never been done that those two things and had never been arrested and
- 19:22bit into a system, you know, for anything. Well, I mean
- 19:26if he never if you never come in a crime that requires them at tacking
- 19:29your DNA, then you can go through the jail system for something minor and
- 19:33never have your DNA tech. Well, now they take it. You used
- 19:37to it, I know, but I'm saying that most of them usually have
- 19:38got caught doing something else that where their DNA is collected. They don't just
- 19:44go from like almost raping and murdering a woman and then actually murdering a woman
- 19:48to it. Never nothing ever happened in between that they were arrested for sexual
- 19:53assault or anything become something that didn't require a DNA sample. Yeah. So,
- 20:00anyway, police posted this video of the guy that Hanna was with all
- 20:06over social media and the news, and they receive a tip on the man's
- 20:08name, and that is a Jesse Matthews Junior. With this information, they
- 20:15obtain a search warrant and his vehicle and his apartment, and they obtain an
- 20:19item to run DNA to compare against the samples there that they currently have on
- 20:25file. Before they can go and bring Jesse in for questioning, he shows
- 20:30up at the police station and tells them he wants a lawyer and would not
- 20:33answer any questions. He was not under arrest, so he leaves and they
- 20:38just follow his movements. He manages to evade the police who were just following
- 20:44him, and since they had no right to chase him because there was no
- 20:47arrest warrant, they didn't have any leaves. He's gone he evades them,
- 20:51they can't. They lose track of him. Well, he can't evade somebody
- 20:53that's not chasing. Well they're not chasing, they're just watching him from a
- 20:56distance. Now his name is leak to the public, and his name is
- 21:03everywhere now at this point, because now we've got the main suspect matching the
- 21:10description of the been identified as the last person to see Hannah. And now
- 21:12he's asked for a lawyer, taken off on police and everything like that,
- 21:18and so he's suspect number one, and they're just trying to work on getting
- 21:23that rest warrant so they can actually go after him. So I don't know,
- 21:26it seems like they kind of fucked up on this one a little bit
- 21:30amazing. He somehow found out that they were after him because he knew they
- 21:34were after him, because he's honest. Let's he's the one that he's the
- 21:40one that did he know what He knew what he did, and he knew
- 21:41they were like, oh, well, they're not going to just let me
- 21:44go. They're going to follow me, and so he's like, I got
- 21:45to get out of here. Well, he turned himself in first off or
- 21:48came in said said I'm not answering questions. I want a lawyer, because
- 21:52he didn't want them approaching him because he probably knew. If he's paid any
- 21:56attention to anything, he's probably like, they're going to get my d or
- 22:00something. They're gonna have an arrest warrant. When they come to talk to
- 22:03me. I'd rather go tell them I'm not answering your questions. I want
- 22:07a lawyer, and then I can try to run away. So maybe he's
- 22:11a little smarter than Yeah, well he's never gotten caught before and he's done
- 22:17bad things. So ten years on the so, with Hannah still missing in
- 22:23the prime suspect on the run, police finally did have enough between him evading
- 22:29police and acting so suspicious and then everything they were able to get an arrest
- 22:33forrant for him. However, he's nowhere to be found, so the warrant
- 22:40is issued for abduction with a tent to a defile because again we haven't even
- 22:44found Hannah. We don't know where she's at, so at this point they
- 22:47only have the abduction charge. Police and her family plead for Jesse to come
- 22:51forward with information about their daughter's whereabouts. Now. Please continue to search for
- 22:55Jesse and Hannah, hoping that maybe she's alive with Jesse holding her up somewhere
- 22:59because now he's taken, like maybe he has maybe he's keeping her somewhere.
- 23:03Jesse was well known in the area. He had grown up in the area
- 23:06and worked at the local hospital as well as volunteering with the local football teams.
- 23:11Like that. He was like described as a nice guy. Like he
- 23:14was, you know, great volunteering his time and doing all kinds of stuff.
- 23:18Yeah, he was, like everyone who described him said he was a
- 23:21nice guy. He'd never have been in trouble with the law as we can
- 23:23tell, because he's DNA's not in the system. And so police they kept
- 23:27digging around in his past and they did find that Jesse had been kicked out
- 23:32of Liberty University after football after his coach heard that he had forced himself upon
- 23:38another female student. So the coach hears this, and there were no formal
- 23:45charges from the university or anything, but the coach did hear this, and
- 23:48he's like, you can't be on the team anymore, kicks him off the
- 23:51team, and he soon after leaves the university and like said, no charges
- 23:56were filed or anything like that. He moved to Christopher Newport University, also
- 24:03in Virginia, where he joined the football team, but soon left the university.
- 24:07Again, he had been accused of sexually assaulting other female student, but
- 24:11again no child's were, no charges were filed, and he just simply walked
- 24:15away and moved on with his life. So both these universities neither one and
- 24:18really looked into this. They just said, you kind of rain him off,
- 24:23basically like they don't want that. Well, author was no charges filed.
- 24:26They can't, No, it is the university's job to charge. To
- 24:30charge him was reported by the female. Yes, it was reported by her.
- 24:36I thought it was just a room. No coaches heard floating around.
- 24:38It wasn't a rumor. They they they just decided not to charge him with
- 24:42anything, and they just kind of rain him off because they don't want that.
- 24:45They don't want it bad. They don't want it bad because they've had
- 24:48to start reporting these types of things to the public and they don't want to
- 24:52do it, so they just don't charge any files charging. That's the weirdest,
- 24:56Huh, what charge any files? What is the word? No charges?
- 25:00Or they don't file in each charge. You are a blonde, aren't
- 25:06you? They don't. They don't like the stats at the school, they
- 25:11don't like the status. So instead there, let's kick him off the football
- 25:15team. Let's make his life not so pleasant here. Unlet's just hope he
- 25:21leaves, because if they have to force him out, then all of a
- 25:22sudden they got to tell you, you know, they got to put on
- 25:25his record. Why And then I think also there was a whole issue where
- 25:29they should have been if they had this happened, they should have reported to
- 25:33their university so they would be aware to not let him on their campus and
- 25:37things like that. But exactly they do it in the casinos. If they
- 25:41don't like him one casino, there's a listic on yes, so it's kind
- 25:45of like a no fly list. So these schools were being shady, not
- 25:48wanting to have to report such sexual assaults to make their stats look bad,
- 25:56and people not wanting to go there. So none of this was on his
- 25:59a few record and because since those charges were dropped and Jesse went on with
- 26:04his life driving a cab for a few years before working at the hospital where
- 26:07he was slowly working his way up and he had just recently received a promotion
- 26:12like he was good at his job too, he did a patient patient transport.
- 26:19You know, like when you can't leave the hospital unless you gotta wait
- 26:22for patient transport, You're just always ready to go home. And then you're
- 26:25like, we gotta wait for patient transport, and you're like, Jesus Christ
- 26:29Christ, when will they get here? Yes, so he was I can
- 26:33walk, Yeah, I can push my own wheelchair. Yeah. Especially after
- 26:37you have a baby and you have to wait for that, you just want
- 26:40to go home. And they're like, well, we're waiting on patient transport.
- 26:44You're like, I'm fine. Now. There was no sign of Jesse
- 26:47in the area that he was known to hang out, and his family,
- 26:52if they knew that where he was, they were not coming forward with any
- 26:56information, which is really shitty on their part. If they didn't know where
- 26:59he was. If I did, yes, now on sech someone knew.
- 27:03I'm sure, well somebody probably knew where he was. I don't know if
- 27:07it was the family or friends, but I'm sure he was getting help from
- 27:10somebody. Well, like I said, if he grew up in there,
- 27:11he still had probably best buds from high school and things like that. I
- 27:15mean, somebody was probably somebody had to bring him food or something if he
- 27:18wasn't seen out in the bountain. Yeah. Anyway. On September twenty fourth,
- 27:22police finally catch a break when a call comes in from the Galveston,
- 27:26Texas Sheriff's Department. A woman had gone to the beach and noticed a man
- 27:32in a tent. The man then got in his car and drove by the
- 27:36woman. The woman immediately recognized him because she had seen him all over the
- 27:41news all the way in Texas, and she stayed on the beach and watched
- 27:45Jesse until police arrived and he was arrested. The Charlottesville Police Department flew to
- 27:51Texas and escorted him back to Virginia. With Jesse in custody, they still
- 27:56did not have any answers, and he would not tell them what had happened
- 28:00to Hannah, to Hannah or where she was now. On October eighteenth,
- 28:04five weeks after Hannah had disappeared, a search team was canvassing an old,
- 28:08abandoned property about six miles from where Hannah was last seen, and they found
- 28:14human remains. They believe this was Hannah. Forensic testing would confirm this.
- 28:18Now that the body was found, they began piecing the evidence against him together
- 28:22for a case. Meanwhile, the DNA was run against the unsolved rape of
- 28:26the woman in Fairfax way back in two thousand and five, and surprise,
- 28:32surprise, it was a match. So they continue to check his DNA with
- 28:36other unsolved cases and this included that Morgan Harrington case. Could remember it matched
- 28:40the one back in two thousand and five, but it was unknown, and
- 28:44so they run it and both so that unidentified DNA on her shirt did match
- 28:49Jesse's DNA. Now Jesse was now the number one suspect in three cases,
- 28:55a rape with attempted murder in Fairfax, the Morgan Harrington case, and the
- 29:00Hannah gram case. So for the rape and attempted murder charge in Fairfax,
- 29:06the victim actually traveled all the way back from Asia to testify against Jesse because
- 29:10she had been there. I think she was a student or she was working,
- 29:14and this just like obviously trauma time and she's like, I'm get the
- 29:18fuck out of the United States. Yeah, so she would. So she
- 29:21traveled back to Asia and this was it was real hard for her because they
- 29:26said because the cultures were so different, and it's just trying, you know,
- 29:30like not blaming the victim and things like that. It was just really
- 29:33hard on her to she felt a shame like it was her fault or something
- 29:37like that and everything. But but she decides it's important for her to travel
- 29:41back and testify against Jesse now that they found him. So the DNA results
- 29:47for the match to Jesse came back as one in seven point two billions,
- 29:51So there's literally no other chance that that's more people than there are on the
- 29:55entire earth. So it's it's definitely him that's a hatch. So the before
- 30:03so the defense knows this is like they're up against the wall on this one,
- 30:06Like they're not going to convince you. But the woman's come back.
- 30:07They're not going to say that she was I mean, the defense could be
- 30:11like it was consensual sex. She was asking for it, she wanted rough
- 30:14sex in the field. The defense I know they do, but instead they
- 30:18decide to come back. I mean, those DNA results, they can't really
- 30:22argue with those a little damning, yeah, And so before they could even
- 30:26start arguments or anything like that, they decide to offer an Alfred plea,
- 30:30which if we've talked about an Alfred plea, it's basically where you I'm not
- 30:36guilty, but the evidence against me is so overwhelmingly that I might as well
- 30:41pleade guilty. But I'm not guilty. So with that he was sentenced to
- 30:45three life sentences. So it's a cop out, and Alfred plea is a
- 30:48cop out, be like, I'm not actually guilty, but even though you
- 30:53have all this evidence that says I am, and there's no way I can
- 30:57refute it, I will plead not guilty. But okay, I will guilty.
- 31:04No, all plead guilty. But I didn't do it. You said
- 31:07not guilty, but I didn't do it. But I'm not guilty yet.
- 31:11Yes, guilty, not guilty. On October twenty, twenty fourteen, Jesse
- 31:18was formally charged in the Fairfax case. It would take until February tenth,
- 31:22twenty fifteen, for police to feel comfortable with having enough evidence to officially charge
- 31:29him with first degree murder in addition to the previous charges of abduction with intent
- 31:34to defile. These charges would later be up to capital murder after more evidence
- 31:40that was not disclosed surfaced. He was later charged in the Morgan Harrington case,
- 31:45and on September fifteenth, twenty fifteen, he received the same charges as
- 31:51the Hannah Graham case. The murder trials will set this start in July and
- 31:56October of twenty sixteen. However, they would not make it to trial with
- 32:01capital murder charges. The death penalty was an option, so Jesse chose to
- 32:06plead guilty in both cases, and the judge sentenced him to four consecutive life
- 32:12sentences, and part of his plea deal agreement was that he could not appeal
- 32:16and he would not be eligible for any geriatric release. Yeah. So we've
- 32:22seen that before about like if once they get to a certain age, even
- 32:24if they're in life, they get it's like something like young too. It's
- 32:29not even super old. It's I think one of the guys was like fifty
- 32:31five or sixty. We saw that if they've served at least I mean,
- 32:38I mean, if you're like thirty five, you can have a geriatric pregnancy.
- 32:42Stuart shut up. They'd call it advanced maternal age. Now geriatric that's
- 32:50what they used to call it. Then they're like, so this is an
- 32:52advanced prisoner agent advancement, advanced prisoner agent, an ape of release. No,
- 32:59but we've seen that. One of them was like, all you had
- 33:01to do was serve at least fifteen years, and if you reach a certain
- 33:04age, even if you had life sentences, you could be eligible for parole
- 33:07due to the geriatric release or whatever, which I don't know, but at
- 33:15least they they got that out of him, because he already had the three
- 33:17life sentences for the whole rape and attempted murder, and now he's got four
- 33:22more like consecutive, not concurrence. So they threw the book at him as
- 33:28much as they could without actually gound trial. Somehow lives through death and resurrects
- 33:34himself. He's got three, he's got life. Well, no, he's
- 33:36got seven six more. Yeah, yep. So anyways, but I'm glad
- 33:43they didn't put it. They put those stipulations in there, so he's stuck
- 33:46in jail forever. Anyways, that's our case for this week. He was.
- 33:52They also those two universities were sued by the families because they said that
- 33:58if he had been properly charged in those because what they did was they never
- 34:02they looked into him. Then they just dropped the cases. Like I said,
- 34:05I think it was more of a they're soon him as because they feel
- 34:07like it was a cover up to make their schools. Yeah, because that
- 34:09would have been a sexual assault that would have taken DNA. So I firly
- 34:13wrapped that girl in the field, they would have two thousand and five.
- 34:15His DNA would have been on here. He also wouldn't have been allowed to
- 34:17go to the next university and sexually assault that girl because he would have been
- 34:22prohibited. Like we said, he'd been in the system of the universities at
- 34:25least to say that, he would have had a note on his record saying
- 34:30don't let him in your school. All right, So STU, do you
- 34:32have a yeall need Jesus? Of course I got a yell. Need?
- 34:35Is it ready to go? Right now? Right now? Of course it's
- 34:37ready to go. Okay, Well hurry up because it's late in this household.
- 34:40Well, this is your fault because I tried to go at eight o'clock
- 34:44to night, and you're like, no, I want to screw around and
- 34:45watch Sister Wise until ten or eleven o'clock at night and then when I'm ready
- 34:51to go. It wasn't even in the new episode. The new episode came
- 34:52on tonight and I was watching old season and then I was like, I'm
- 34:57going to go to bed and you're like, oh, you can't go to
- 34:59bed. We ain't out an episode in like three weeks. We gotta go.
- 35:01It's it's only been too but it'll be three because I gotta go to
- 35:05work. Yes, so this is your fault anyways. No, I was
- 35:09just find your thing. Okay, I'll talk while you find it. Neked
- 35:15man fights police officer, steals patrol vehicle Florida, not Florida, not Florida.
- 35:24But I'm cheating because I saw him play the video. It's quite what's
- 35:30happening Quiet entertain Las Vegas, Nevada. This is like four days ago.
- 35:37This is all coming back full circle to Sister Wives because we were just watching
- 35:39the episode where they just moved to flag Staff and they left Vegas. Didn't
- 35:44like the lifestyle there, and this is exactly why. Because there's there's no
- 35:47naked, drunk people jumping into police cards and flag Staff Arizona. I'm sure
- 35:52there is, and I don't know what this The most disturbing part of what
- 35:57you talked about was we were watching you were you were men about how stupid
- 36:00they were about their financial choices. You're like, this is stupid. Well,
- 36:05they're talking about we got four houses and we didn't sell them. But
- 36:07yeah, they didn't sell This was all This is if you watch Sister Wives,
- 36:10this is whenever they moved from Vegas just up and moved to flag Staff
- 36:14and they didn't sell their houses before they moved, and they moved into four
- 36:16rentals and they bought property. So they're paying on property, four rentals and
- 36:22four houses in Vegas that can't sell because they put Janelle in charge, who
- 36:27doesn't know what the fuck she's doing with real estate, and they're like,
- 36:30I don't know what changed. All of a sudden, Robin's house went on
- 36:32the market and it was sold in two weeks. And it's like, just
- 36:35before that they'd mentioned that they stopped you having Janelle, which is one of
- 36:37the wives do the real estate deal are listing, and they had they brought
- 36:45an actual professional in, and all of a sudden, the houses started selling.
- 36:46It's like, I don't know what changed. Oh, yeah, we
- 36:49know it changed, so Jesus, yes, yes, no, they need
- 36:54Jesus. But now all three of the four wives have left. So it's
- 37:00fun to watch old seasons because anybody who's been a long time Sister Wife's watcher
- 37:05knew this was all going to fall apart at some point. We were just
- 37:07waiting and it's finally happening. Anyways, go on with your story, Oh
- 37:13Jesus, and a bizarre and kat. This is coming from KTLA, which
- 37:20if you live out in La that's the news station out there. A bazaar
- 37:23and chaotic scene unfolded on the streets of Las Vegas on Halloween night when a
- 37:29naked man got into a fight with a police officer and then stole his patrol
- 37:32vehicle. Well maybe he was in costume as a crazy person. I think
- 37:37he was, and the incident was captured on video. It happened at around
- 37:40eleven to fifteen pm. WIN officers responded to a call regarding a naked man
- 37:45in traffic near Blue Diamond Road and Buffalo Drive. It did look like a
- 37:50video footage that you'd see in like the Hangover or something like that. And
- 37:52like, you know, like the video footage they roll at the end where
- 37:55it's like what happened during that time, and it's like filling the gaps.
- 38:00One would be like this, Yes, this would be old Zach Galifanakis stealing
- 38:07the patrol car. A Las Vegas police officer fights with a naked man at
- 38:12Buffalo Drive. That's the description of the picture. I shouldn't read that well.
- 38:19According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, Clyde cap Youlicion twenty nine began fighting
- 38:27with the first responding officer, hitting and punching, before jumping into the officer's
- 38:31patrol suv and driving off a chasing suit and cabusealal Caabu. Listen eventually crashed
- 38:40into another vehicle roughly five miles away. Okay, so recapping the story before
- 38:46we get to the would you like me to recap Sister wives? Now?
- 38:51You're a seventeen seasons now. According to Metro, Clyde got into a fight
- 38:55blah blah blah, and this was captured on video by Kyle Even, a
- 39:00nearby driver who's gonna basically tell us again what happened. From his perspective,
- 39:06He said he saw flashing lights and he thought he was pulling up on an
- 39:08accident. Instead, he witnessed a naked man in the road casually walking.
- 39:14He said, you got a cop and a naked dude. I thought he
- 39:16was going to be handcuffed and thrown in the ground. Even said during a
- 39:20phone interview Wednesday morning, the cop kind of seemed like he was protecting him
- 39:25from somebody coming through the basically the light and hitting him. He said that
- 39:30had what happened next made his jaw drop. The naked man was able to
- 39:35get into the Metro Forward F one fifty patrol vehicle and drive away. I
- 39:40was just glad the cop didn't go run over. Even said, it's like
- 39:45a real light. Even ev E and Kyle Evan is the guy oh last
- 39:52name? Yes, he said, it was like a real live grand theft
- 39:57auto. O Police said that though Clyde headed north on Rainbow with police in
- 40:04pursuit for more than five miles, he then cross center line, drove into
- 40:07oncoming traffic and rental red light at Hassenda Avenue, crashing into the passenger side
- 40:12of a Ford Explorer, injuring the driver and the passenger. Thirty four year
- 40:16old woman who was driving to Explorer and her forty three year old male passenger
- 40:21suffered critical injuries transported to UMC Trauma. Transported the man told eight News reporter
- 40:30that his right body is paralyzed, amongst other complications after being seated in the
- 40:35passenger seat. So old Clyde, what do they say was wrong with them?
- 40:42Who? Clyde. Yeah, probably on drugs or some shit. Yeah,
- 40:46all right, so that's our y'all need Jesus for this. Clyde needs
- 40:50some Jesus. You gotta quit being run around naked in public and stealing police
- 40:53officers patrol viaicle. Yeah, well, police needed to take the damn keys
- 40:57at the ignition. These days, I've seen too many videos of people slipping
- 41:00cuffs, getting in the driver's seat and doing all kinds of weird shit.
- 41:05I'm sure they're supposed to. They just forget well, they all need to
- 41:10be remote starts and then you just keep the key in your pocket thought old
- 41:13times, or you can disable your vehicle with your phone or something if it
- 41:17does get stole. Worn well, Stuart, they're still just trying to get
- 41:20enough money to function, I guess then to upgrade cars. So all right,
- 41:25So I guess we'll see you guys in two to three weeks, probably
- 41:29at the beginning of December, after we moved to Texas. We're going to
- 41:32see them or whatever hear from this, you'll hear from us from way out
- 41:38in West Texas. So the West Texas town of a Passave. Yeah,
- 41:44well, no, we're not going that far. So it's not like a
- 41:46Marty Robinson. No, you don't even know who Mary start don't. All
- 41:52right, Well I'm gonna go watch some more sister Wise, Well I'm tired
- 41:55done and go to bed. Well, I gotta I have to take a
- 41:58half a unisal Stewart, and then I go to bed. For you,
- 42:02I don't know what that means. Stud doesn't need a unism. He literally
- 42:07lays his head down and goes to sleep, and I want to stab him.
- 42:09So it takes me a little bit of time to go to sleep,
- 42:12So I usually have to take a half a unism to try to doze off.
- 42:16If I really want to go to sleep, I take a whole unism.
- 42:20But then I'm like worthless the next day. Now, what's that from
- 42:23a difference? Is that from any other day? No, here's the thing.
- 42:28If I want to take a whole unis on, it's because I'm like
- 42:30out of town and I don't have any like children or a husband or responsibilities.
- 42:37Yes, I'll go to bed at like nine pm, and that's when
- 42:39I can take a full unison because I don't have to be up to like
- 42:43seven or whatever, and I can just sleep no interruptions somebody else deals with
- 42:49the lings. Oh, our children are pretty good sleepers. They both sleep
- 42:52pretty much twelve hours. Like they woke up this morning. I was like,
- 42:58why are these little ship heads waking up so early? Now I forgot
- 43:00the time changed. I'm kidding. I just we just love the little things.
- 43:06No, they thank god they are their sleepers. They'll sleep till like
- 43:07nine o'clock in the morning, both of them. So people hating on you
- 43:12right now, they go to bed. The baby goes to bed at like
- 43:15seven thirty every night and he sleeps till eight thirty nine ish. And then
- 43:21the two year old, she's hit her miss here lately. She her problem
- 43:27is when she goes to school like daycare whatever, they give her a nap
- 43:30and she really shouldn't be taking a nap. So when she's home on the
- 43:31weekends, she don't take anap. She just has quiet time instead. But
- 43:36she'll go to bed at like eight eight fifteen, and she'll sleep like you
- 43:40gotta go wake her up. If she gets that nap during the day,
- 43:44she won't go to bed at night. Ten yeah, she won't go to
- 43:47bed at night, so she be at the door jee yeah, maybe eleven
- 43:54yeah. Some nights, some strange nights, she'll still be up and you're
- 44:00like, Jesus, just got a bad plaster. God, no, she
- 44:04doesn't get juice at night. We got it. She got into the habit
- 44:07of getting the juice, and then it was like, this can't we can't
- 44:08continue this on. This is bad. We're gonna rot our teeth out.
- 44:12So we got her back on water. So she does water. But anyways,
- 44:16don't judge our parenting. We're terrible parents. But all right, so
- 44:20we'll see you guys in a couple of weeks, and we'll see you next
- 44:24for I haven't forgot how to end these. We'll see you next time.
- 44:28Buyeveryone say bye to Tell't you know it's bad to be SUPERSTI shot my napping.
- 44:39Else is working. It's pretty hurning sick. This worthy. I can
