  SPEAKER_01: Just getting right into the catch-up.

  SPEAKER_01: So I've been watching Watched Lanterns yesterday, the new the third episode.

  SPEAKER_01: Um kind of a backstory episode.

  SPEAKER_01: I'm s my mind's so ingrained in like all these seasons, like dropping at once, that when I get a backstory episode, for some reason I just automatically start to like it less because it's like takes away from the main story.

  SPEAKER_01: But when it's in like a a long season that I know the episode's out right now, I don't mind them and I like them.

  SPEAKER_01: When I have to wait a whole week to get back to the main story, I kind of have an issue.

  SPEAKER_01: Lanterns have been good.

  SPEAKER_01: Um I did want to say something though right off the bat, because this is pretty important, and this is important for movies in general and the future of the movie theaters.

  SPEAKER_01: So I don't know how many people know this, but and this is about Coyote vs.

  SPEAKER_01: Um, it was set to be released in 2023.

  SPEAKER_01: Warner Brothers, like, basically made a$70 million movie to shelf it, like, to never release it and claim a$30 million tax write-off.

  SPEAKER_01: I didn't look too much into it, but I just as like high level, that's about what I know of it.

  SPEAKER_01: Um everybody like it, but it did have early screenings and like the of like the cast and the crew watched it, and they were all like, this is actually really good.

  SPEAKER_01: So it caused a bunch of people to be like, Oh, you should actually release it.

  SPEAKER_01: Come on, release it, release it.

  SPEAKER_01: Well, a couple years later, um, after all the backlash and stuff, they reversed it and then gave permission for people to start uh for the sh filmmakers to start like shopping it out to other distributors other than Warner Brothers.

  SPEAKER_01: A distributor called Catch Up Entertainment purchased it.

  SPEAKER_01: Never heard of them.

  SPEAKER_01: They are they've probably done something I know, but never heard of them.

  SPEAKER_01: It's like hybrid live action animated.

  SPEAKER_01: Apparently it's really good.

  SPEAKER_01: I think it's made um I think opening weekend or opening box office was 15 point something million.

  SPEAKER_01: Um needless to say, go to the movies if you're gonna watch a new movie.

  SPEAKER_01: If you can't, obviously if they're man, it's a little bit more expensive than just watching at home or waiting for it, but if you're excited about a movie, and even if you're don't know nothing about this one and want to go see it, go to the movie theaters because it helps out and it helps keep stuff like that going.

  SPEAKER_01: And uh just a little sneak peek into our uh top ten, but it's a top five this week, is favorite movie watching experiences.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, but I'm still in the Great Ninja War.

  SPEAKER_00: Um the where I specifically where I'm at, spoilers.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh Orochimaru just came back.

  SPEAKER_00: And he brought back all of the Hokage, the four.

  SPEAKER_00: Other than that, I did want to say someone probably it's tough as a top ten, but like as a like when I first watched the episode, I was like, dang, this person's in my top five.

  SPEAKER_00: I I I'd have to really think about it, um, top five, because there's some really good characters.

  SPEAKER_00: Definitely my favorite female character in that movie or in that show.

  SPEAKER_00: I just saw the scene that I saw, like, it's always her being there for Naruto, no matter what.

  SPEAKER_00: With and even from the beginning she was the real one, yeah.

  SPEAKER_00: So that's why she's uh possibly my top five characters.

  SPEAKER_00: And I just got to the part where Naruto learns how to kind of transfer the uh chakra, the uh nine-tails chakra, to everybody else.

  SPEAKER_00: So he's going around slapping everybody, and he's so he's at first he's holding their hand and they stand up together, and she's got the like red uh chakra stuff around her, and it's so cool.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh my gosh, that's awesome.

  SPEAKER_01: Do you see what everybody else what's going through everybody else's head?

  SPEAKER_00: And I saw Shikamaro's dad die.

  SPEAKER_01: And you know So when he's running around touching everybody with his chakra, everyone starts to see what he was feeling when he was a kid.

  SPEAKER_00: He's like running around and giving them all chocolate.

  SPEAKER_00: But I mean I like that's the last episode I watched.

  SPEAKER_01: And Okay, well that that episode that you're on, that whole thing with his dad dying, Hinata, him sharing his chakra, and then what I just said is what I keep saying I can't wait for you to get to.

  SPEAKER_01: Oh like basically where you're at right now, and I'm assuming the next episode is what I've been waiting for you to get to this whole time.

  SPEAKER_01: When I'm like, well, there's a scene like it's Tim with Hanata and all that stuff.

  SPEAKER_00: Oh, and Neji dies?

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Neji dies.

  SPEAKER_00: And then that's kind of how it starts all of it because And when everybody gets his chakra, it's yeah.

  SPEAKER_00: Because I literally like they did that, and then they kind of start fighting.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm pretty sure uh Shikamaru and Eno like take kind of they use their abilities, their uh ninjutsu or whatever, to control um Obito and Matara.

  SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of where I'm at.

  SPEAKER_00: But they didn't like start really fighting yet with everybody.

  SPEAKER_00: I because it can't it would do it showed that, which was really cool, and then it went like the second half of the episode was just Orochimaru and Sasuke and them going to release Dehokage and reanimate them.

  SPEAKER_00: So that's where I'm at in Naruto.

  SPEAKER_00: This whole part is awesome.

  SPEAKER_00: I've been watching I really want to watch Naruto.

  SPEAKER_00: I just don't have as much time, so I get to watch like maybe two or three episodes a week.

  SPEAKER_00: Um Severance, I've still been watching, me and Perry have still been watching Severance.

  SPEAKER_00: I can't remember, but they basically do they're just spawn and on vacation or on a field trip or whatever.

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like a field trip kinda, and they're just in the snow and like he has to climb the mountain.

  SPEAKER_00: But Irving left the camp going to look for uh Milchick, I'm pretty sure.

  SPEAKER_00: And um Heli and Mark were in the tent and they were lacking each other in the tent, and then that's kind of where it stopped.

  SPEAKER_01: But that episode was so weird because it's pretty weird, and I don't know if it happens in this one at the beginning of the next one.

  SPEAKER_01: It is a pretty big reveal that you are gonna like for I mean, I don't know if you're gonna like it, but I called it.

  SPEAKER_00: So Well, the reason I kind of that transitioned was because I've been really contemplating my top ten with Outer Banks being in it.

  SPEAKER_00: And like through the first part of that season, I was like, man, I this is gotta like I had to take it out, I think.

  SPEAKER_00: But as it progressed into the season, I was like, I could see the like aspects that I really liked and why I loved it in the first place.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh Severance obviously hasn't finished, so I don't I definitely can't put that in there yet.

  SPEAKER_00: And so I still think Outer Banks finished is in my top ten.

  SPEAKER_01: It's just that so I w we watch it, watch it with Taylor, and every time she's asked me if I want to watch it, I just think about a hundred other things I'd rather watch.

  SPEAKER_01: I haven't liked any the seasons when they're in Kildare doing the Kildare stuff is the best stuff.

  SPEAKER_00: Dude, that's the thing about Pope is somehow he just knows things and he figures everything out.

  SPEAKER_00: And it's just that's one thing that I wanted to say about the entire season.

  SPEAKER_00: Um I don't remember it near as much in the other seasons, but everything is just so convenient.

  SPEAKER_01: And it has I said this last episode a little bit, or kind of said it, it has Fast and Furious Idis.

  SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, it's a good thing.

  SPEAKER_00: It has the suspend disbelief, everything's convenient, and then it gets too big for its britches, I think, and starts to be like And it just I think it's really bad in those first three or four episodes, and I think it gets better once it gets more grounded in Kildare, but it's still stuff that's just like what the heck is going on.

  SPEAKER_01: I the problem is I went into this season being like, This is the season where I'll Rafe is my guy.

  SPEAKER_01: Like he's still about his money and about but then he he's also kind of like like I like when he helps John B with um what he found in the water.
