- 0:26Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:30Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan, O'Malley. Along with
- 0:34Speaker 1: Trey Trendholme and Raj Sharma, there is a new troubling
- 0:41Speaker 1: trend out of China. Adult sized pacifiers are becoming a
- 0:47Speaker 1: trend among young people in China as a way to
- 0:51Speaker 1: cope with stress, anxiety, insomnia, and maybe even to quit smoking.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Psychologists link the habit it to a regression phenomenon where
- 1:02Speaker 1: individuals find comfort in childhood like objects. Couldn't you just
- 1:08Speaker 1: cuddle a teddy rucksman.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Or you don't want to walk? You don't want to
- 1:14Speaker 2: walk around with one of those?
- 1:16Speaker 1: Somehow I would judge you less for walking around with
- 1:19Speaker 1: a teddy ruxsman that's reading to you, versus a pacifier
- 1:23Speaker 1: in your mouth. Health experts caution the prolonged use can
- 1:28Speaker 1: cause dental misalignment, jaw problems, you clastal damage, and even
- 1:32Speaker 1: pose choking or breathing risks during sleep. So if you
- 1:35Speaker 1: are going to go the adult pacifier route, don't sleep
- 1:39Speaker 1: with it in.
- 1:41Speaker 3: You knows as much as we like to say as
- 1:46Speaker 3: gen X, how soft gen Z is I feeling? If
- 1:50Speaker 3: you're our agent and grew up in China. You really
- 1:55Speaker 3: think this younger generation has it made.
- 2:02Speaker 2: We had dinnamin square, you have pacifiers.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a solid point, man. That is that is
- 2:10Speaker 1: a hell of a generational drop off right there.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not going to war with a pacifier in
- 2:17Speaker 2: your mouth.
- 2:17Speaker 3: You know, y'all have mobile phones. We didn't have electricity.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Oh and look, this is this is something that I
- 2:29Speaker 1: just know is going to jump across the ocean, because
- 2:33Speaker 1: anything that starts as a trend one place will catch
- 2:37Speaker 1: on thanks to the Internet and social media, and some
- 2:39Speaker 1: people will start doing it here. So now I'm just
- 2:43Speaker 1: setting the clock to see how long it is before
- 2:46Speaker 1: I see my first young adult with a pacifier walking around.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I thought that that we've already done that whole Like
- 2:53Speaker 3: that was a rave thing for a while, as you know,
- 2:56Speaker 3: they had pacifiers in their mouths.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Because yeah, that but that was for drugs. Well yeah,
- 3:03Speaker 1: that was for Gen X and millennials doing drugs at
- 3:05Speaker 1: a rave. That's when they did the passivefiers. Now we're
- 3:08Speaker 1: looking at gen Z doing this new trend just as
- 3:11Speaker 1: a coping mechanism for life.
- 3:16Speaker 2: The pacifier Does it work? Like I don't know how
- 3:20Speaker 2: that would relieve stressing anyway.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Roger, why don't you be our correspondent and give it
- 3:25Speaker 3: a give it a whirl.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I will do it.
- 3:29Speaker 3: I'll see, but if it helps me cope with a
- 3:31Speaker 3: life dealer dud, yeah, yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 1: We're calling nov Yellow. It's been a while since he's
- 3:38Speaker 1: been in here, and now we've got a good dealer
- 3:40Speaker 1: dud for him. We're gonna have you on dealer dud
- 3:42Speaker 1: maybe on the tin as well. And to see whether
- 3:45Speaker 1: or not an adult pacifier works?
- 3:47Speaker 2: Okay, and where can one find one of those?
- 3:51Speaker 3: Uh as an unfault, I'll say Amazon, just.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I'm sure they've got it.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Out.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It's an official Amazon product. It's going to be one
- 4:02Speaker 1: of those third party things. But I'll be curious to
- 4:06Speaker 1: see if a not only does Amazon carry it, but
- 4:09Speaker 1: can you get it in twenty four hours? Showing it
- 4:13Speaker 1: to me adult pacifier on Amazon? How quickly can you
- 4:16Speaker 1: get it? Raj? Are you a prime member?
- 4:17Speaker 2: I am a Prime.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Member tomorrow overnight?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so you have to suffer through one more day, Raj,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and then tomorrow I'll stress stress and anxiety free with
- 4:28Speaker 1: your brand new adult pacifier.
- 4:30Speaker 2: They walk around with it too, I want you to
- 4:33Speaker 2: I have no shame.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Put it on a chain so it's around your neck,
- 4:36Speaker 1: so you have it when you need it and then
- 4:37Speaker 1: right there when you got it. Do they have any
- 4:39Speaker 1: certain designs, like certain colors? Are any of them branded?
- 4:44Speaker 1: Like maybe ones like Marvel or DC Like maybe you
- 4:48Speaker 1: want to suck on a hulk Pacifier's.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Say there's a magic.
- 4:56Speaker 1: That it's not the first Avenger. I choose no Johansson woman.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I was gonna say Captain America, but okay.
- 5:08Speaker 1: America's asked passivefier.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Have everybody called me cap uhh?
- 5:19Speaker 3: Yeah they do. They have you know, bunnies, Teddy Bears, Uh,
- 5:25Speaker 3: the Boo Boo Ghost.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Wait, ghosts in Ghost or Patrick Swayzey from Ghost.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Ghost is in is in?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Uh?
- 5:38Speaker 3: A white sheet?
- 5:43Speaker 2: That's not for me.
- 5:46Speaker 1: That's reverse appropriation.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I've been invited to that meeting before it turns out poorly,
- 5:54Speaker 2: but your mouth is still full, then I'll take the hole.
- 6:08Speaker 4: You're in the Treehouse visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Eight three three.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Cook DFW is the phone number you need to contact
- 6:21Speaker 5: Daniel Cook and carry Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration
- 6:24Speaker 5: eight three three cook DFW the website cookdfw dot com.
- 6:28Speaker 5: We talk a lot about the roofing industry because that's
- 6:30Speaker 5: your bread and butter, and you do free roof inspections
- 6:32Speaker 5: for people, but you are also now making people's outdoor
- 6:36Speaker 5: dreams come true.
- 6:37Speaker 6: Absolutely, Dan, It's a very fun time when you get
- 6:39Speaker 6: to go outside in the backyard and start putting together
- 6:43Speaker 6: some ideas for folks that you know, want to use
- 6:45Speaker 6: their backyard more and they just don't know what to
- 6:47Speaker 6: do with it. They thought they, you know, it was
- 6:50Speaker 6: really cool when they went to some friend's house and
- 6:52Speaker 6: they have, you know, a nice extended patio and it's
- 6:54Speaker 6: got to cover on it and they're able to go
- 6:56Speaker 6: out there and watch TV and they have a little
- 6:58Speaker 6: beer cooler on it.
- 6:59Speaker 1: All those things.
- 7:00Speaker 6: And so when we come out and say, yeah, all
- 7:01Speaker 6: that's possible, let's let's make a design. Let's show you
- 7:04Speaker 6: what's visible. We show you some photos of previous projects.
- 7:07Speaker 6: We can measure out what your you know, expectations of
- 7:10Speaker 6: how much of the backyard you want to utilize for this,
- 7:13Speaker 6: and so that's all important stuff. And then on top
- 7:15Speaker 6: of that, right now we're going to be running a
- 7:17Speaker 6: promotion that everybody that calls us has us come out
- 7:20Speaker 6: do an estimate, show them what they could be having.
- 7:23Speaker 6: They're going to get in into a promotion, and at
- 7:25Speaker 6: the end of the promotion, we're going to be giving
- 7:26Speaker 6: away a big green egg, so someone's going to get
- 7:30Speaker 6: very lucky. These are phenomen pieces of barbecue equipment, steamers,
- 7:34Speaker 6: all kinds of different things you can do with it.
- 7:36Speaker 6: So at the end of the promotion, somebody's going to
- 7:38Speaker 6: get one of those.
- 7:38Speaker 7: That's very cool.
- 7:39Speaker 5: And if you win that big green egg, Daniel and
- 7:42Speaker 5: his team would be happy to build you a patio, outdoor, kitchen,
- 7:45Speaker 5: entertainment space to go around it.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Eight three three cook DFW.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Get that estimate right now eight three three cook DFW

- 8:38Speaker 2: Today.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Uh, yesterday on the show, we were talking about Jasmine
- 8:42Speaker 1: who had called in and left of less left of
- 8:46Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. Jasmine called left us a voicemail thank you,
- 8:50Speaker 1: Dan h on our Treehouse Talkback asking if you stomp
- 8:56Speaker 1: the broken bar soap down the drain, does that count
- 8:59Speaker 1: as well awful stomping? We all said no, it's pooor
- 9:03Speaker 1: or no got But then Raj, you said there was
- 9:06Speaker 1: something else about that that surprised you.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I would have h look looking at the two
- 9:12Speaker 2: of you, like, Dan, you're a shower gel guy like
- 9:15Speaker 2: I can tell that, and Trey I would have assumed
- 9:17Speaker 2: would have been a bar soap guy.
- 9:20Speaker 3: No, I can't. You know, when you wear like the
- 9:24Speaker 3: Lufa exfoliating gloves, you have to have the gel soap.
- 9:27Speaker 2: You you have loofa gloves. Oh yeah, oh this is
- 9:33Speaker 2: getting so good.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It really is. And this is an important lesson for
- 9:37Speaker 1: you to learn. Don't judge a book by its cover.
- 9:39Speaker 2: That is true. I'm guilty of that right now because uh,
- 9:43Speaker 2: he just I mean you look at trade and he's
- 9:45Speaker 2: like manly man right, I want to have some bar soap,
- 9:49Speaker 2: maybe some Irish spring.
- 9:51Speaker 3: But I do love Irish spring, you know shower gel,
- 9:54Speaker 3: but no, no, no bar soap. Interesting. I actually your
- 9:59Speaker 3: stuff is more moisturizing.
- 10:00Speaker 1: But to make sure that the Lufa glove does its
- 10:05Speaker 1: job properly.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Yeah, well, you know you gotta moisturize your skin.
- 10:11Speaker 2: That's that's key.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I have.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I have.
- 10:17Speaker 3: If you think I'm a bar sup guy, then you
- 10:19Speaker 3: would really be shocked by my skincare routine.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Okay, I think we need to tour. I think we
- 10:24Speaker 1: need a tour of your bathroom and your medicine cabinet
- 10:27Speaker 1: and oh you know what we need. We need trade
- 10:29Speaker 1: to do one of those get Ready with Me trend videos.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I gotta see how you, uh, how you
- 10:36Speaker 2: prepare for the for the evening.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Trey skincare routine. Get Ready with Me?
- 10:41Speaker 2: So do you have a moisturizer that you use?
- 10:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 10:45Speaker 1: Okay, of course he does remember the time that that
- 10:49Speaker 1: he told the date that he moisturizes, and she said
- 10:51Speaker 1: she didn't want to date him anymore because he wasn't
- 10:53Speaker 1: manly enough.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Oh okay.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Did she know about the Loofah glove or did you
- 10:58Speaker 1: just save that one?
- 11:01Speaker 3: And I think you knew about that one and it's
- 11:03Speaker 3: gotten I've you know after fifty especially, you know there's
- 11:08Speaker 3: there's serums, there's creams, there's all sorts of things.
- 11:11Speaker 2: That Now do you have two loof of gloves or
- 11:13Speaker 2: do you? Michael Jackson? Just just what it's two?
- 11:19Speaker 1: I know why there's two? What one's for body, for
- 11:24Speaker 1: general body and two is for the undercarriage area?
- 11:29Speaker 2: Oh gotcha?
- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah you have one is the general surface glove. Number
- 11:33Speaker 1: two is the crevices glove. Okay am I right?
- 11:37Speaker 2: Yeah? This is so eye open it I would I
- 11:43Speaker 2: with tray. I was like bar soap, washcloth, like that's
- 11:46Speaker 2: what I saw. But he's showered. Jel loofa hands exfoliation
- 11:51Speaker 2: is key? Just put one on and move walk in
- 11:55Speaker 2: the shower. Yeah?
- 11:59Speaker 3: Is that is? This?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Is this going to be part of your process for
- 12:02Speaker 1: Thursday night for your Daity Trail event the thirty five
- 12:05Speaker 1: plus singles mixer on the Katie Trail. Are you gonna
- 12:07Speaker 1: use your exfoliating loof of gloves and your skincare routine
- 12:12Speaker 1: before you go out?
- 12:14Speaker 3: I mean I use the exfoliating gloves every time I
- 12:17Speaker 3: shower so yes, and then definitely yeah, I have to.
- 12:22Speaker 3: You have to get ready.
- 12:23Speaker 1: You're gonna have to look your best because you're probably
- 12:26Speaker 1: gonna be one of the older people at the event.
- 12:28Speaker 1: The good news is because of this skincare routine, you're
- 12:31Speaker 1: not gonna look it. Yeah, because I mean look at
- 12:34Speaker 1: look at him right now, Roger's he's he's practically dewey.
- 12:38Speaker 1: He's fresh.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Yeah, he's glowing. Yeah, he's fresh off that one in loofo.
- 12:48Speaker 3: No, he use the other hand for that.

- 13:53Speaker 1: Big Payday. Short OnlyFans creators are stomping their taller ride
- 14:00Speaker 1: with one four foot star earning over one hundred thousand
- 14:04Speaker 1: dollars per month. Little People, Big pay Day. When it
- 14:11Speaker 1: comes to raking in cash on OnlyFans. There's new data
- 14:15Speaker 1: from super Creator. It reveals that shorter women are stomping
- 14:20Speaker 1: all over their taller rivals. They earn up to thirty
- 14:23Speaker 1: four percent more subscribers with fans who spend thirty to
- 14:27Speaker 1: forty five percent more per interaction and stick around nearly
- 14:31Speaker 1: twice as long. Oh the irony. It's pretty impressive when
- 14:41Speaker 1: you think about it. Erica Calabreeze or Calibrasic. Not sure
- 14:44Speaker 1: how she says it, Not sure if anyone else really cares.
- 14:48Speaker 1: But she's a four foot tall Only Fans star, and
- 14:51Speaker 1: she is absolutely raking it in. The twenty five year
- 14:54Speaker 1: old from Tampa, Florida boasts eight hundred and nine thousand
- 14:57Speaker 1: Instagram followers and says her petite stature has a major
- 15:00Speaker 1: factor in a six figure per month business. She says
- 15:05Speaker 1: she says, I had two options. Either use my height
- 15:08Speaker 1: to my advantage and make something of it, or give
- 15:11Speaker 1: into what society has stereotyped little people to be, which
- 15:14Speaker 1: is just which is just a punching bag.
- 15:16Speaker 5: For comedic relief. Could be a little bit of foreshadowing there.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Nobody's laughing at her now, though. According to the story
- 15:24Speaker 5: from The New York coast. Even as the site becomes
- 15:26Speaker 5: more oversaturated, According to her, she's able to consistently reel
- 15:30Speaker 5: in well over six figures per month. This pint size
- 15:33Speaker 5: powerhouse says the fan requests are just as crazy as
- 15:37Speaker 5: the paychecks.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Are you surprised that little people are hitting big paydays
- 15:41Speaker 1: on OnlyFans?
- 15:43Speaker 2: No? I mean so my ex her entire family is
- 15:47Speaker 2: little people, And.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I'm say her entire family was on only fans.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Hindsight's twenty twenty day. They should have been. But no,
- 15:59Speaker 2: I mean and beautiful. I mean, I think that's great.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I mean, some people have a weird fetish thing maybe,
- 16:06Speaker 2: but I don't know. Good for her, man, one hundred
- 16:10Speaker 2: thousand dollars a month, good for her.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I'm at the point now where when you start hearing
- 16:19Speaker 1: about the dollar amounts that some people are making on
- 16:23Speaker 1: these adult sites OnlyFans or whatever else there might be
- 16:25Speaker 1: out there.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Look, I know this stigma has slowly dissipated over the
- 16:31Speaker 1: years about sex workers, adult performers, things like that.
- 16:37Speaker 7: It's not it.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I mean, it's more mainstream than it used to be. Yeah,
- 16:41Speaker 1: right now, granted, we still have guys that have their
- 16:46Speaker 1: companion dolls and when they're done with them. They're too
- 16:48Speaker 1: ashamed to take them to the dump, so they throw
- 16:50Speaker 1: them in the river for the authorities to find. But
- 16:54Speaker 1: still adult content and stuff is more mainstream now we're
- 16:58Speaker 1: all kind of aware of it. We don't adjit as
- 17:00Speaker 1: harshly as we used to, and there's still negative sentiment
- 17:03Speaker 1: out there. But honest to god, when you hear someone
- 17:06Speaker 1: making one hundred grand a month just basically being a
- 17:08Speaker 1: cam model, I mean, my hat kind of goes off
- 17:12Speaker 1: to you. It is like, go for it. Get that bag.
- 17:16Speaker 2: It's hard for her to carry that bag, but still
- 17:19Speaker 2: she will counter.
- 17:25Speaker 1: She can afford a regular hype person to carry it
- 17:27Speaker 1: around for her.
- 17:29Speaker 2: You take that bag and you put it on top
- 17:30Speaker 2: of the fridge and just watch.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Now that's a channel i'd watch. You don't have to
- 17:38Speaker 1: be naked, just just just putting stuff high up where
- 17:41Speaker 1: she can't reach it. Maybe that's part of her content.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what her content consists
- 17:47Speaker 1: of because only fans. While it has the sexual connotation
- 17:50Speaker 1: and implication, it doesn't have to always be that. When
- 17:54Speaker 1: it started, it was just supposed to be a way
- 17:57Speaker 1: for people to connect this actually famous people to connect
- 18:02Speaker 1: with fans and things. And then of course, you know,
- 18:04Speaker 1: the adult industry quickly saw an opening and decided to
- 18:08Speaker 1: fill it. And that's based what's that air tight?
- 18:16Speaker 7: Air tight?
- 18:16Speaker 1: Yeah? Perfect seal? Uh but yeah, I mean, I mean again,
- 18:24Speaker 1: like when you see that amount of money going, you know,
- 18:26Speaker 1: exchanging hands or whatnot, it really is it's like, that's
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'm partly stunned by how many people are willing to
- 18:34Speaker 1: pay for whatever content that is. And then maybe some
- 18:37Speaker 1: of the content is silly, like maybe she is doing
- 18:41Speaker 1: you know, very tawdry adult themed things, but also maybe
- 18:45Speaker 1: there's bloopers where someone does put the toy she was
- 18:47Speaker 1: using on top of the refrigerator.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Is it because she's a little person, There's got to
- 18:53Speaker 2: be a gag reel. I'm sorry that was a bad one.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I guarantee you that would get some clicks.
- 19:04Speaker 2: View it as.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Although on only fans if you have a button that
- 19:09Speaker 1: says check out my gag reel, you may not know
- 19:11Speaker 1: which version you're gonna get.
- 19:13Speaker 2: That's an ext one hundred thousand dollars.
- 19:15Speaker 3: A damn sure, I don't want to see the spit.

- 20:25Speaker 1: Speaking of appreciation, I appreciate my friendships, and I appreciate
- 20:28Speaker 1: my friend Trey. And when he sends me texts things
- 20:32Speaker 1: that are just very simply put like sorority talk, t okay,
- 20:38Speaker 1: not t a LK sorority talk. I don't need to
- 20:43Speaker 1: ask any more follow ups. I know I'll just save
- 20:45Speaker 1: it for the show and then I'll just He'll just
- 20:46Speaker 1: lay it on me. So Trey, What is sorority talk?
- 20:50Speaker 1: What have you discovered?
- 20:52Speaker 3: So I think it started he started a couple of
- 20:58Speaker 3: years ago with sororities going into Rush. They put out
- 21:03Speaker 3: these they do these elaborate kind of dance videos, and
- 21:09Speaker 3: it's now like a competition amongst the sororities and for
- 21:12Speaker 3: attention and everything else. And you know, if you're a
- 21:15Speaker 3: guy over I don't know, probably twenty five. It's just
- 21:18Speaker 3: it's the best time of year because your your four
- 21:22Speaker 3: year you page just college girls just doing you know,
- 21:26Speaker 3: all sorts of dancing and shaking things.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I think you should lead with that. When you talk
- 21:32Speaker 1: to someone at the daity trail, would they ask you
- 21:35Speaker 1: have any hobbies You're like, yes, I'm big on sorority.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Talk, or or can you start shaking things?
- 21:45Speaker 1: No, you're right. This is this is something that started
- 21:48Speaker 1: a handful of years ago at least, where sororities started
- 21:51Speaker 1: doing these recruitment videos. I want to say, Raj, did
- 21:55Speaker 1: we see one on YouTube all the way back in
- 21:57Speaker 1: like eight or something. Someone did one. It was some
- 22:01Speaker 1: sorority somewhere and they did some elaborate recruitment video for Rush,
- 22:06Speaker 1: and then that sort of set the tone and others
- 22:08Speaker 1: started doing it. Now, you're right, Trey, I saw I
- 22:10Speaker 1: saw this a couple of days ago. Didn't realize that
- 22:13Speaker 1: this is part of the new trend where it's the
- 22:16Speaker 1: the TikTok dances and stuff, but it's sorority recruitment videos.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Yeah, they've done the videos for ages like that. They
- 22:22Speaker 3: send a potential you know people they want to rush whatever.
- 22:25Speaker 9: Uh.
- 22:26Speaker 3: But the dancing and the elaborate choreography is I think
- 22:31Speaker 3: has grown as TikTok has emerged.
- 22:37Speaker 1: But and I and if you're talking about choreography and
- 22:40Speaker 1: video shooting and editing on that level, that scale, that's
- 22:44Speaker 1: some serious time effort and money just to get some
- 22:49Speaker 1: new you know.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Recruits college sorority girls. They have all three of those.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yeah, solid point and.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're over especially if you're over thirty and
- 23:02Speaker 3: you're watching that, you're just kind of like, is this legal?
- 23:08Speaker 2: Yes it is.
- 23:11Speaker 1: And then though, but it puts a lot of pressure
- 23:13Speaker 1: on some of the recruits because look, we all know
- 23:17Speaker 1: at some schools, some sororities have certain look that they
- 23:22Speaker 1: go for. Some sororities have a certain type, like some
- 23:25Speaker 1: sororities are the ones that are actually involved in the
- 23:28Speaker 1: community wholeheartedly as opposed you're just kind of doing it
- 23:31Speaker 1: on the surface. Some are more the smart kids, some
- 23:33Speaker 1: are more the partiers and like whatever their sort of
- 23:36Speaker 1: stereotype is. But it puts a lot of pressure on
- 23:39Speaker 1: you if you want to join like one specific sorority
- 23:42Speaker 1: and then you realize, oh my god, I'm not that
- 23:44Speaker 1: good of a dancer.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Well that's why all the girls are standing in the background.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Is not all of them are, yes.
- 23:49Speaker 1: But every sorority needs a good video editor, is what
- 23:52Speaker 1: you're saying.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Well, no, there's always if they're a hundred girls, there's
- 23:56Speaker 3: ten dancing and the rest of them are you know,
- 23:58Speaker 3: just in the background them on.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Okay, that makes sense. And then and then maybe you
- 24:02Speaker 1: want to be uh, maybe you want to be the
- 24:04Speaker 1: social media manager for the try Dels.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Well the other I mean, some of these girls parlay
- 24:11Speaker 3: this into being social media. I mean they get huge followings,
- 24:14Speaker 3: especially like there's always a couple of girls from Alabama
- 24:17Speaker 3: because that's oh yeah, a whole thing. But you know,
- 24:20Speaker 3: they end up with hundreds of thousands of followers just
- 24:23Speaker 3: because they start doing their you know, get ready with me,
- 24:26Speaker 3: you know, for rush day one and ever and yeah,
- 24:29Speaker 3: they they make a they end up monetizing it, so
- 24:33Speaker 3: good for them.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, I didn't think about that. To get
- 24:36Speaker 1: ready with me trend for getting ready for rush for sorority.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Next thing, you know, you got to maybe lean brand deal.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Are the guys doing things like this at all? Are
- 24:48Speaker 1: there are the fraternities doing elaborate videos to recruit or
- 24:51Speaker 1: are they just sticking with the the basics of come
- 24:54Speaker 1: get drunk with us?
- 24:56Speaker 2: I think that's that's pretty much.
- 24:57Speaker 3: A truck true.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Tradition.
- 25:10Speaker 7: You're in the tree hops.

- 25:31Speaker 1: It is time to advertise right here inside the Treehouse.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Sponsorship opportunities are available if you're interested to just shoot
- 25:39Speaker 1: us an email Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com.
- 25:41Speaker 1: That's Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com. To advertise
- 25:46Speaker 1: right here inside the Treehouse. Today is Wednesday, August thirteenth,
- 25:50Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. This
- 25:59Speaker 1: is one of the day's per year where it's very
- 26:01Speaker 1: very short on birthdays, so just kind of go with
- 26:06Speaker 1: it here Lennon Stella is twenty six. That is Raina's
- 26:12Speaker 1: talented daughter Maddie on Nashville, I mean Nashville. Hey, watchers here, No,
- 26:20Speaker 1: that's not really our thing, Okay, Sebastian Stand here we go.
- 26:25Speaker 1: This is a good one. The Winter Soldier in the
- 26:27Speaker 1: Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sebastian stand is forty three, turning into
- 26:32Speaker 1: I don't know about turning into, but just is actually
- 26:35Speaker 1: a really phenomenal actor, not just as the Winter Soldier,
- 26:39Speaker 1: but he was the one that completely transformed himself to
- 26:42Speaker 1: play Tommy Lee in that Tommy Lee Pamela Anderson show
- 26:47Speaker 1: on whatever it was a couple of years ago. I
- 26:54Speaker 1: think he's been in a couple other things too, But
- 26:55Speaker 1: I'm brain farting off the top of my head. But
- 26:57Speaker 1: Sebastian Stan the Winter Soldier, very fine actor. Which, by
- 26:59Speaker 1: the way, the Thunderbolts movie I had seen in a
- 27:03Speaker 1: few different places online that said that the Thunderbolts movie
- 27:05Speaker 1: that he was in from Marvel was a flop, but
- 27:09Speaker 1: only because it didn't make a billion dollars. And now
- 27:12Speaker 1: all the superhero you know, studios need to sort of
- 27:15Speaker 1: reevaluate what a quote unquote successful box office looks like
- 27:20Speaker 1: because I think that movie still made like two or
- 27:22Speaker 1: three hundred million dollars, but people were saying, ah, it's
- 27:24Speaker 1: kind of a flop. It's like it made money. It
- 27:27Speaker 1: was critically acclaimed. I think it's one of the best
- 27:29Speaker 1: Marvel movies in recent years.
- 27:32Speaker 3: I can tell you what's not. Oh really what the
- 27:37Speaker 3: New Fantastic four movie is garbage, absolute garbage. It is
- 27:42Speaker 3: probably the worst Marvel movie they have put out.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Wow, worse than the other Fantastic for adaptations. Yeah, okay,
- 27:50Speaker 1: it is hot take from Trey.
- 27:52Speaker 3: It is disjointed. They it's setting this like it's like
- 27:58Speaker 3: it's set in the sixties, but it's got futuristic technology
- 28:02Speaker 3: and it's it's all over the place. It's predictable. You
- 28:06Speaker 3: can see the ending coming from a mile away.
- 28:09Speaker 2: It's Oh, Dan's going to the theater. As soon as
- 28:12Speaker 2: we're done, I'm.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Gonna walk into your living room like Galactus and defend
- 28:19Speaker 1: this film to the core.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Is a Sebastians Is he a tall felt? Because Tommy
- 28:26Speaker 2: Lee's a tall guy.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know, he's at least six foot
- 28:31Speaker 1: I don't.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Know, Okay, because like Tommy Lee's like six four something
- 28:35Speaker 2: weird like that.
- 28:35Speaker 1: It's movies. They can make anyone look tall, just look
- 28:37Speaker 1: at Tom Kers. But as far as the Fantastic four thing,
- 28:42Speaker 1: the reason why I brought up the Thunderbolts is because
- 28:44Speaker 1: I knew you'd bring up Fantastic four. Tre I saw
- 28:46Speaker 1: your thing on on Instagram the other day. It's sort
- 28:51Speaker 1: of like it's like, you know, how was it was
- 28:54Speaker 1: it Roosevelt? Or who was it that did the fireside chats?
- 28:57Speaker 7: Roosevelt?
- 28:58Speaker 1: Roosevelt? So Roosevelt did the fireside chats. Trey's doing conversations
- 29:02Speaker 1: from his recliner, and I'm I'm loving them because you
- 29:06Speaker 1: put Fantastic four on blast?
- 29:10Speaker 2: What did you watch it?
- 29:13Speaker 3: You know, I generally enjoy Marvel movies. I mean I
- 29:16Speaker 3: even some of the ones they are bad, I I
- 29:22Speaker 3: enjoy them. It's they're usually a nice escape, you know,
- 29:25Speaker 3: just they're fun to watch. This was just it's just bad.
- 29:28Speaker 3: It's a bad story. It's it's like, I I don't know,
- 29:36Speaker 3: I can't figure out what they were going for because
- 29:39Speaker 3: usually in these especially now with the Marvel universe, they're
- 29:46Speaker 3: going somewhere with it, like it's all they're all leading
- 29:49Speaker 3: into something else. This movie just all over the place,
- 29:53Speaker 3: and with the story and and and like I said,
- 29:57Speaker 3: you can see the ending coming a mile away, and
- 29:59Speaker 3: then you know everyone already knows Doctor Doom makes an
- 30:01Speaker 3: appearance at the at the end, you know in the.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Credits, and that right there is the whole reason for
- 30:06Speaker 1: the film, because Doctor Doom is the Fantastic four villain,
- 30:10Speaker 1: and in order for him to make his appearance into
- 30:13Speaker 1: the MCU, it has the road for Doctor Doom goes
- 30:17Speaker 1: through Fantastic Four. And I will give you this Dray.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I liked Fantastic Four, but it definitely felt like a
- 30:24Speaker 1: necessity film, just so they could get Doom into the
- 30:27Speaker 1: MCU and then onto the next Avengers Doomsday movie. So
- 30:32Speaker 1: it did kind of feel rushed.
- 30:35Speaker 3: I just they've been talking about that movie like it's
- 30:40Speaker 3: not like they have been First of all, John Krasinsky
- 30:43Speaker 3: and I like Pedro Pascal. I still say John Krasinsky
- 30:46Speaker 3: would have been a better choice. But I just thought
- 30:51Speaker 3: the story was just boring, predictable. There were usually in
- 30:56Speaker 3: a Marvel movie, there's some moments where you're like, yeah, whatever,
- 30:59Speaker 3: this one is just.
- 31:01Speaker 2: And doctor Doom is being now being played by Robert
- 31:04Speaker 2: Downey Junior. Yes, yeah, I mean so, I think I think.
- 31:07Speaker 1: That's one of the problems that that the MTU's has,
- 31:09Speaker 1: that the MCU is run into, is that it's it's
- 31:12Speaker 1: so big now and once they I mean honestly, it's
- 31:15Speaker 1: like Ryan Reynolds called it out in Deadpool and Wolverine
- 31:18Speaker 1: when he's like, uh, the whole multiverse thing not great? Well, yeah,
- 31:23Speaker 1: and that's what this Fantastic Four movie is. It's a complete,
- 31:27Speaker 1: completely separate Earth, a different dimension, a different universe, and
- 31:31Speaker 1: in that universe it is set in the sixties, but
- 31:34Speaker 1: on that Earth, the sixties has futuristic technology available to
- 31:38Speaker 1: do space travel, and so there's a lot of suspension
- 31:40Speaker 1: of disbelief when it comes to, oh, we're just gonna
- 31:43Speaker 1: casually fly around space now and take on a space god.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Well, that's the Fantastic Four in reality or in it
- 31:51Speaker 3: was not in some alternate, you know, universe, and that
- 31:54Speaker 3: that's I think what makes it very weird is they
- 31:57Speaker 3: they have gone but like clearly they were going for
- 32:00Speaker 3: the whole multiverse thing. They failed at it every time.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Stop it doesn't work.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I think part of the reason why that I've
- 32:08Speaker 1: I loved all the Marvel movies is because and they're
- 32:10Speaker 1: really getting kind of knee deep into this is what
- 32:12Speaker 1: they call the street level superhero stuff, where it's this
- 32:16Speaker 1: is gonna sound dumb, and I know it is a
- 32:19Speaker 1: realistic feeling superhero film. Like I know there's no Super Soldier,
- 32:26Speaker 1: Captain America, I know there's no Iron Man, I know
- 32:28Speaker 1: there's no Thor, but even those original movies still felt
- 32:32Speaker 1: kind of real ish, like it could happen. We know
- 32:35Speaker 1: it can't, but it feels sort of like it could.
- 32:39Speaker 1: When you're having intergalactic space babies on your spike shaped
- 32:46Speaker 1: ship and Fantastic four roaming around black holes. I can
- 32:51Speaker 1: understand how some people just don't go that far with
- 32:56Speaker 1: the story. It's like, you know what, I'm not quite
- 32:58Speaker 1: buying into this.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Well, another thing is, you know anything with mass cannot
- 33:01Speaker 3: travel the speed of light.
- 33:04Speaker 2: This is the nerdiest conversation.
- 33:08Speaker 3: I just I just didn't know. You know, Dan wore
- 33:10Speaker 3: Hawkeye under rus.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Don't underestipate it.
- 33:16Speaker 7: He's bad.
- 33:16Speaker 4: You're in the Treehouse visit us online at Treehouse on
- 33:21Speaker 4: air dot com.
- 33:22Speaker 1: And Hawkeye was one of the few good Marvel series.
- 33:25Speaker 9: Okay, you're listening to the tree House, visit us online
- 33:38Speaker 9: a Treehouse on air dot com.
- 33:43Speaker 1: No, I am not gonna do it. I am not
- 33:45Speaker 1: going to apologize for nerding out inside the tree house.
- 33:48Speaker 1: It doesn't happen very often. And by god, Trey and
- 33:50Speaker 1: I just completely put our you know, Marvel under us
- 33:54Speaker 1: on and and had a good old nerd fest.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Yeah. That was want to watch.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, But my experience going to the Fantastic I
- 34:04Speaker 3: mean the Kude Gras was the fact that the movie
- 34:07Speaker 3: popcorn was cold and stale. That that was a fitting,
- 34:12Speaker 3: just fitting for the whole experience.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Gotta go to Alamo Draft House. It's the best popcorn,
- 34:20Speaker 1: is it?
- 34:20Speaker 2: M Okay? I thought Imax had the best popcorn, but
- 34:26Speaker 2: I'll check it out.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I haven't been to an Imax. I think, oh maybe
- 34:31Speaker 1: since a school field trip.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Wow.
- 34:35Speaker 1: And honestly, that's so far back. They may not even
- 34:38Speaker 1: have been called Imax back then. Whatever, it was just
- 34:40Speaker 1: the really big screen at the museum. I'm afraid to
- 34:44Speaker 1: go see a movie in IMAX because I'm so motion
- 34:47Speaker 1: sickness sensitive. I'm afraid I'm gonna throw up in the
- 34:49Speaker 1: middle of the film. And I don't want to be
- 34:53Speaker 1: that guy.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and I have a fear of heights. So if
- 34:57Speaker 2: there's anything that yeah, yeah, the I went and saw
- 35:01Speaker 2: The First Dark Night and it's that scene where he's
- 35:04Speaker 2: you know, the opening scene where they're going over Gotham
- 35:06Speaker 2: City and he's on top of the building and I
- 35:09Speaker 2: was staring down on my feet the whole time. I
- 35:12Speaker 2: can't do it.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I mean, there are many reasons why I could not
- 35:15Speaker 1: be a superhero. Number one on that list is afraid heights.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my thing. I was like, you can't be
- 35:22Speaker 2: street level Batman. Now you just look like you're going
- 35:27Speaker 2: to a kids really Yeah, like.
- 35:32Speaker 1: M you cannot be afraid of heights and be a
- 35:35Speaker 1: superhero just period.
- 35:36Speaker 4: Now.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Now, granted, if I was Superman with the with the
- 35:39Speaker 1: ability to fly, then okay, then I'm sure I'd get
- 35:43Speaker 1: I would get used to it.
- 35:45Speaker 2: But what if he had a fear heights too, That
- 35:47Speaker 2: would be hilarious. I gotta fly again. That Superman taking dramamine.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Saving people and throwing up on them at the same time.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I'd watch that movie super Dud. That actually sounds a
- 36:05Speaker 1: little bit like what would be a good premise for
- 36:07Speaker 1: a remake of Greatest American Hero, which they were going
- 36:11Speaker 1: to do. And we've talked about this, I think very
- 36:12Speaker 1: briefly before. The girl that played CC on New Girl
- 36:19Speaker 1: was slated to be the new version of Greatest American Hero.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Greatest American Hero was that was it? Stephen Cat? Was
- 36:25Speaker 1: that the actor's name back in the late seventies early eighties.
- 36:30Speaker 1: That's the whole right, it's William Katt, William Cat.
- 36:34Speaker 2: That was sure. I'm sure you can call the waffle
- 36:37Speaker 2: house that he works at find out.
- 36:40Speaker 1: But helped me with this trade because it was a
- 36:42Speaker 1: long time ago. So the premise of Greatest American Hero
- 36:45Speaker 1: is normal dude somehow comes across some alien suit and
- 36:50Speaker 1: this suit gives him superpowers, and it's kind of a
- 36:54Speaker 1: slapstick comedy because he's trying to figure out how to
- 36:57Speaker 1: use these powers and so he's it's kind of stumbling superhero.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Well, he throws away the instructions.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Yeah, he threw away the he threw away the pamphlet.
- 37:06Speaker 5: Yeah, that is such, that is such an that is
- 37:10Speaker 5: such an earth dude thing.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Super suit. I don't need the instructions.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a man guy, that's a man thing, right.
- 37:20Speaker 2: I know how to work this alien technology.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I got it.
- 37:27Speaker 5: Uh, but yeah, no, I I yeah, superhero status may
- 37:30Speaker 5: be very very poor because I would not be able
- 37:32Speaker 5: to handle the heights.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Must have crushed your crushed your soul when you realize
- 37:35Speaker 3: you couldn't be wonder Woman.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Oh Invisible Jet.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Yeah, he had the bracelets and everything.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I was so ready then so disappointed. Well that's the
- 37:59Speaker 1: other too, is I can't twirl because I get sick.
