Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? It's Romeo. What do we get
• 0:01
Speaker 1: in Today? We talked with Michael Bean about relationships. We
• 0:04
Speaker 1: also talked about some of your most embarrassing moments and
• 0:06
Speaker 1: a little bit about Tony Romo.
• 0:08
Speaker 2: Let's see what happened.
• 0:09
Speaker 1: All right, So we're we're in the middle of summertime.
• 0:12
Speaker 1: A lot of you guys are having pool parties. The
• 0:15
Speaker 1: kids are having their friends over. You know, you guys
• 0:17
Speaker 1: are having adult pool parties, getting pool parties, birthday parties.
• 0:21
Speaker 1: You guys are having to get together barbecues with the pool.
• 0:25
Speaker 1: Pool parties are notorious for things going wrong in the
• 0:29
Speaker 1: sense of people getting into it because of the way
• 0:33
Speaker 1: certain people dress. I went to a pool party on Saturday.
• 0:38
Speaker 1: It was like a Saturday evening, Saturday evening into the
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: into the night.
• 0:42
Speaker 2: You know. It was a barbecue. It was so you know,
• 0:46
  Speaker 2: like any barbecue.
• 0:48
Speaker 1: You know, you start off with all the with all
• 0:50
Speaker 1: the moms, I mean all the grandma's and the kids
• 0:52
Speaker 1: and everything. You know, so it as it gets later,
• 0:55
Speaker 1: you know, it gets a little bit more adult.
• 0:57
Speaker 2: You know, things like that.
• 1:00
Speaker 1: Well, pool parties are a little bit different because the
• 1:02
Speaker 1: kids are going to be hanging out all night, especially.
• 1:04
Speaker 2: If it's a family pool party.
• 1:07
Speaker 1: Now, let me ask you a question, who's the most
• 1:08
Speaker 1: annoying person that comes.
• 1:09
Speaker 2: To your pool party and what do they do.
• 1:12
Speaker 1: I do not own a pool, so I do not
• 1:14
Speaker 1: have pool parties, but I've gone to a few. I
• 1:16
Speaker 1: went to one on Saturday night, and I can tell
• 1:19
Speaker 1: you a couple annoying things that I know the homeowners
• 1:22
Speaker 1: were upset about and the rest of the family was
• 1:25
Speaker 1: upset about, you know, especially since there were kids around.
• 1:29
Speaker 1: But that's always the argument, right, if you're having a
• 1:32
Speaker 1: pool party and somebody wants to dress in a specific
• 1:36
Speaker 1: manner that you consider inappropriate, is it really inappropriate? I mean,
• 1:42
Speaker 1: there's a lot of girls out there that got the
• 1:44
Speaker 1: body and like to show off damn near everything, barely
• 1:46
Speaker 1: couple to barely cover their you know, private parts, you know.
• 1:50
Speaker 2: Because they think they look good in the bikinis.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: And maybe they do, but that's how they want to
• 1:54
Speaker 1: dress and show themselves, and then they want to sit
• 1:56
Speaker 1: there at this One girl at this pool party was
• 2:00
Speaker 1: half naked, literally half naked, just taking glamour shots of
• 2:03
Speaker 1: herself in the pool because well she had to show
• 2:06
Speaker 1: everybody online. Now, lot of the aunts and uncles were
• 2:12
Speaker 1: pretty upset about it.
• 2:13
Speaker 2: A lot of the grandma's going what and the heck
• 2:15
Speaker 2: is that woman doing? Right? What happened at your pool party?
• 2:20
Speaker 1: You know, there's always that one inappropriate mom that's uh,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: that inappropriate single mom who's always trying to show off
• 2:29
Speaker 1: more than she should and act out because well she's
• 2:32
Speaker 1: trying to steal your man.
• 2:33
Speaker 2: That's the other thing. That was the other thing that
• 2:34
Speaker 2: happened that was pretty funny. So this is.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: For the most part, it was a function for my
• 2:44
Speaker 1: buddy who's got his kid plays travel ball, right, and
• 2:49
Speaker 1: so he's having a big pool party. Just invited me
• 2:51
Speaker 1: over invited you know, the kids that play ball with him,
• 2:53
Speaker 1: and the you know with this with his son and
• 2:56
Speaker 1: the families. You know, those travel ball people spend a
• 2:58
Speaker 1: lot of time together. I didn't realize they didn't when
• 3:01
Speaker 1: I was a kid in sports, they didn't have travel ball,
• 3:05
Speaker 1: so we I didn't realize how much time these people
• 3:08
Speaker 1: spend together and they get kind of close. Well, this
• 3:14
Speaker 1: is the first year that he's been a part of it.
• 3:17
Speaker 1: And I don't know if this happens in every travel
• 3:20
Speaker 1: ball team, but there's a single mom who's always trying
• 3:23
Speaker 1: to take someone's husband, or always flirting too hard with
• 3:26
Speaker 1: someone's husband, always trying to keep attention on them. Found
• 3:30
Speaker 1: that out at the pool party. The single mom came
• 3:34
Speaker 1: pretty I thought she was gonna get her ass beat
• 3:37
Speaker 1: by the moms, by the other wives. I shouldn't say moms,
• 3:40
Speaker 1: but by the wives, because the way she was flaunting
• 3:43
Speaker 1: around in front of her husbands. And yeah, I thought
• 3:46
Speaker 1: that was going to go down. Luckily that didn't happen.
• 3:49
Speaker 1: She ended I don't know if somebody talked to her
• 3:50
Speaker 1: or not, but she ended up covering up here.
• 3:52
Speaker 2: About halfway through the party.
• 3:54
Speaker 1: So one of the wives must have said something to her,
• 3:57
Speaker 1: but I don't know what that was all about. But yeah,
• 3:59
Speaker 1: she puts some cover ups on uh after a while,
• 4:02
Speaker 1: which I thought was kind of funny.
• 4:04
Speaker 2: Woul did you pay attention?
• 4:05
Speaker 1: So yeah, pool parties, man, they always get out of hand.
• 4:08
Speaker 1: There's always someone annoying at the pool party. There's always
• 4:11
Speaker 1: somebody doing something, doing something, doing something. There's always somebody
• 4:15
Speaker 1: trying to I remember as at a pool party one
• 4:17
Speaker 1: time and the host of the pool party, her best
• 4:22
Speaker 1: friend was trying to take her husband. Yeah, that was
• 4:29
Speaker 1: that was. It was funny how that happened. Pools are
• 4:31
Speaker 1: notorious for getting out of hand.
• 4:33
Speaker 2: I don't know why. Pool party.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: You can go to a barbecue have a great time,
• 4:38
Speaker 1: but you throw a pool into it, and all of
• 4:40
Speaker 1: a sudden you can have some real problems in your relationship.
• 4:44
Speaker 2: So we're talking about pool parties for some reason.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: Pool parties, man, they always get out of hand. Something
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: crazy always happens.
• 4:51
Speaker 3: What's going on, Hey, Romeo, it's got on the radios
• 4:54
Speaker 3: talking about at pool parties and hy.
• 4:57
Speaker 2: Sleeve Yeah one girl, yeah or whatever.
• 5:01
Speaker 3: I think they're's insecure about themselves. Like yeah, I understand
• 5:06
Speaker 3: it the playing time, but like, come on, the poor
• 5:09
Speaker 3: party you got you guys, bring off the bikinis.
• 5:12
Speaker 4: And I didn't have to be you know, like I understand.
• 5:14
Speaker 3: That's the time of places.
• 5:15
Speaker 4: But I told my girl, if you want to drift
• 5:19
Speaker 4: that way, go ahead, like I show your body.
• 5:22
Speaker 3: I'm not gonna let im.
• 5:26
Speaker 2: That's fine. I you know, I get it. I get it.
• 5:28
Speaker 1: But you know, somebody when you got a full party
• 5:30
Speaker 1: and that's a family function, and all of a sudden
• 5:33
Speaker 1: that that cousin brings his girlfriend he dresses, who's dressed
• 5:36
Speaker 1: like she's going to the strip club or should be
• 5:39
Speaker 1: working a poll. Those grandmas and those antees, those DearS
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: get mad.
• 5:42
Speaker 4: Bro, what are you gonna do? The older generation they
• 5:46
Speaker 4: can't stand this generation.
• 5:48
  Speaker 5: You know.
• 5:49
Speaker 3: But I can't say it is those single moms, those
• 5:52
Speaker 3: single friends, those are the ones.
• 5:53
Speaker 4: You gotta look out for.
• 5:54
Speaker 1: They are the ones you gotta look out for. They
• 5:56
Speaker 1: will snatch your husband up in a minute.
• 5:59
Speaker 4: Yes, because I followed someone and there's a YouTuber and
• 6:02
Speaker 4: then she she always.
• 6:04
Speaker 3: Like always like putting it out there.
• 6:07
Speaker 4: Yeah, but like she's married, you know. But like those friends,
• 6:11
Speaker 4: you know you got. You gotta look out for those friends.
• 6:13
Speaker 2: All right, thanks for calling. I mean he ain't lion man.
• 6:16
Speaker 1: Your single friend will snatch up your husband the first
• 6:20
Speaker 1: chance she gets, especially if he's a good looking man.
• 6:26
Speaker 2: Yeah. So when it comes to pool parties, full parties
• 6:28
Speaker 2: get all the hand.
• 6:29
Speaker 1: I just saw a story last week about some attorney somewhere.
• 6:35
Speaker 1: He might have been attorney for the Navy or an
• 6:37
Speaker 1: attorney for a military one of the military forces. And
• 6:42
Speaker 1: I don't know if you rented out his pool or
• 6:44
Speaker 1: let his buddies bar his pool, but he might go
• 6:47
Speaker 1: to jail now because at his house they had like
• 6:50
Speaker 1: all these people, women getting naked, tworking disturbing the peace.
• 6:55
Speaker 2: So this guy might end.
• 6:56
Speaker 1: Up in uh might have end up in jail for
• 7:01
Speaker 1: letting his buddies throw a pool party.
• 7:03
Speaker 2: I don't know if he was there or not. I
• 7:04
Speaker 2: didn't read the whole.
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: Story, but I don't and I don't even know how
• 7:07
Speaker 1: you can end up in jail. You know about it,
• 7:10
Speaker 1: but yeah, he might end up getting charges pressed against
• 7:12
Speaker 1: him for this pool party. Pool parties get out of hand, man,
• 7:15
Speaker 1: and it don't matter if it's just your little pool party.
• 7:18
Speaker 1: You have them with a family with family and friends,
• 7:20
Speaker 1: or you having a birthday party, or are you just
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: having friends over.
• 7:24
Speaker 2: They get out of hand. They do, and it's wild already.
• 7:29
Speaker 1: Fourteen five four seven to seven yo Romeo. You know,
• 7:33
Speaker 1: me and my husband, we have pool parties all the
• 7:36
Speaker 1: time with our friends. And I got to tell all
• 7:39
Speaker 1: the wives that come over to hold on to their
• 7:42
Speaker 1: man because my best friend is single and she's a
• 7:46
Speaker 1: hope and I know it, but she's still my best friend.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: People may judge me for that, and I'm going, you know,
• 7:51
Speaker 1: we're friends with who we're friends with? Okay, your best
• 7:54
  Speaker 1: there's a lot of you out there. You're best friend's
• 7:56
Speaker 1: a hope. You know she's single.
• 7:58
  Speaker 2: She's a hope.
• 7:58
Speaker 1: She's just waiting to steal your husban or somebody else's
• 8:01
Speaker 1: man anyway, So you may judge me for that room,
• 8:04
Speaker 1: but I just want to say I warn all the
• 8:06
Speaker 1: wives that come to my pool party to make sure
• 8:10
Speaker 1: that they keep an eye on their husbands, because she
• 8:12
Speaker 1: gets a little tippy tipsy and has no problem taking
• 8:16
Speaker 1: off her top or flirting way too hard. So make
• 8:19
Speaker 1: sure rome that you let them know I I don't okay,
• 8:25
Speaker 1: I'll let them know, don't go when they go to
• 8:26
Speaker 1: your pool party to hold onto their husband's.
• 8:30
  Speaker 2: All right?
• 8:31
Speaker 1: All right? Needy four two five, four seven seven. Wow,
• 8:34
Speaker 1: that's funny. At least she at least she warns the
• 8:38
Speaker 1: other women that go to her pool parties that, Hey,
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: my best friend's a hoe.
• 8:41
Speaker 2: You better watch out. What do you got?
• 8:44
Speaker 1: It's like, what happened the last time you went to
• 8:45
Speaker 1: a pool party? How did you go down? Something crazy?
• 8:48
Speaker 2: Who's uh? Who uh? Who was underdressed? Who was overdressed?
• 8:52
Speaker 2: Who was mad? Already?
• 8:53
Speaker 1: Four two five, four seven to seven your room? Do
• 8:57
Speaker 1: you think it's okay for women to dress in thong
• 9:00
Speaker 1: bikinis at a kid's pool party.
• 9:04
  Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I don't know. I don't.
• 9:09
  Speaker 2: I guess I'm not. I don't know.
• 9:11
Speaker 1: You know, people get mad about it. I don't know
• 9:12
Speaker 1: how you're supposed to dress, you know. I mean, yeah, probably,
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: I guess. I mean it's probably not a good look.
• 9:20
Speaker 1: But you see how women are dressed out in public nowadays.
• 9:23
Speaker 1: What's I mean the kids are gonna see it out
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: there anyways, I don't. I mean, that's a that's an
• 9:28
Speaker 1: argument for you to have with whoever's coming to your
• 9:31
Speaker 1: house for a pool party, you know, I mean, do
• 9:34
Speaker 1: you want them? You want your kids around it? You
• 9:36
Speaker 1: know your friends, you know your family, You know who
• 9:38
Speaker 1: to invite not to unvite. You guys all know who's
• 9:41
Speaker 1: gonna wear a throng bikini to a pool party with
• 9:44
Speaker 1: little triangles covering their nipples so that you know they
• 9:47
Speaker 1: cover just enough to be to not get indecent exposure charges.
• 9:51
Speaker 2: I mean they know.
• 9:52
Speaker 1: I mean, you know, you know which friends of yours
• 9:54
Speaker 1: are like that, so don't invite them to a kids party.
• 9:56
Speaker 1: I guess I don't really know, to be honest with you,
• 10:00
Speaker 1: what to say about that? Already four two, five, four,
• 10:04
Speaker 1: seven to seven? What'd you send me here? Hey Romeo?
• 10:07
Speaker 1: This weekend, my neighbor had a pool party. I was
• 10:10
Speaker 1: in the garage when she walked over in a two
• 10:13
Speaker 1: piece bikini asked me to go change her pro painting,
• 10:17
Speaker 1: and me, like a good neighbor, I helped out.
• 10:19
  Speaker 2: I help out.
• 10:20
Speaker 1: Every single woman in a thong rad to rob to
• 10:23
Speaker 1: the rescue. You know, can I just say this on
• 10:29
Speaker 1: another note, I, uh, how do you guys handle that?
• 10:33
  Speaker 2: That's another thing.
• 10:34
Speaker 1: You know, there are in uh my neighborhood, a couple
• 10:39
Speaker 1: of divorce as, divorcees, divorcees, how do you say it?
• 10:43
Speaker 1: A couple of women that got divorced and you know,
• 10:46
Speaker 1: they got the house, he not there no more. And
• 10:48
Speaker 1: they do kind of walk around a little, you know,
• 10:51
Speaker 1: asking their neighbors for help. But not me. I'm I'm
• 10:55
Speaker 1: not good looking or you know, attractive or or in
• 10:58
Speaker 1: great shape like my neighbor. So yeah, they they do
• 11:03
Speaker 1: ask some of the neighbors. I always wonder how those
• 11:05
Speaker 1: guys handle that. Right when you got that single mom
• 11:08
Speaker 1: or that single woman next door, there's nothing more dangerous
• 11:10
Speaker 1: than a forty five year old divorced woman right, because
• 11:13
Speaker 1: she's getting back in great shape. She's ready to, you know,
• 11:16
Speaker 1: take on the world again, and she's ready to take
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: your husband.
• 11:19
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 11:21
Speaker 1: So, Rob, maybe you shouldn't be going to pool parties
• 11:24
Speaker 1: with your neighbors, all right, E four two.
• 11:26
Speaker 2: Four seven to seven yo rum. So get this.
• 11:30
Speaker 1: Last summer, my wife and I we moved into a
• 11:34
Speaker 1: new house. We downgraded because the kids had gone off
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: the college.
• 11:39
Speaker 2: It was just her and I. We moved into a
• 11:40
  Speaker 2: little community.
• 11:42
Speaker 1: We get invited to one of the neighbor's pool parties
• 11:45
Speaker 1: and turned out it was a swinger's party. Rome I
• 11:48
Speaker 1: had no idea. Me and my wife kind of freaked
• 11:50
Speaker 1: out about it. We left and never went back. Like
• 11:56
Speaker 1: I said, man, you get a there's two things you
• 11:59
Speaker 1: can guarantee things are gonna get crazy.
• 12:02
Speaker 2: A pool party and a boat.
• 12:05
Speaker 1: If you want to hang out with people, don't ever
• 12:08
Speaker 1: hang out with people who have a pool or a boat.
• 12:11
Speaker 1: If you're approved, okay, because it will go down at
• 12:17
Speaker 1: some point. We're talking about pool parties, right. Pool parties
• 12:20
Speaker 1: tend to get out of hand. They turned to get
• 12:22
Speaker 1: sexual for some reason. More more often than not, pool
• 12:25
Speaker 1: parties tend to get sexual than they do.
• 12:27
Speaker 2: You know, real crazy crazy, you know, cops getting.
• 12:30
Speaker 1: Called and more has to do with the sexual things
• 12:33
Speaker 1: that happen at pool parties already four two pop four
• 12:36
Speaker 1: or seven as seven eight Romeo. My husband and I
• 12:39
Speaker 1: went to this one neighborhood when we were buying a
• 12:41
Speaker 1: house and it was about one in the afternoon.
• 12:45
Speaker 2: We're going through the house. It was a two story house.
• 12:48
Speaker 1: The neighbors next door we're having a pool party. Most
• 12:53
Speaker 1: of the women had their tops off and we're running
• 12:55
Speaker 1: around drinking party and music was going. This was at
• 12:58
Speaker 1: one in the afternoon during the week, So mind you
• 13:03
Speaker 1: or needless to say, we did not buy that house
• 13:06
Speaker 1: and move somewhere else. You never know what's going on.
• 13:11
Speaker 1: I've had that happen before. By the way, I was
• 13:13
Speaker 1: looking at a house one time and it wasn't a
• 13:15
Speaker 1: fool on party, but it was just a couple.
• 13:18
Speaker 2: They were both naked. It was an afternoon thing.
• 13:21
Speaker 1: They were both you know, they always say when you
• 13:23
Speaker 1: go buy a house, go different times of the day
• 13:26
Speaker 1: to see what the neighborhood's like those different times and
• 13:28
Speaker 1: you'll see and you'll see, and yeah, they were It
• 13:31
Speaker 1: was just I don't know if their husband and wife
• 13:33
Speaker 1: or a guy and his girlfriend or whatever.
• 13:35
Speaker 2: But yeah, they were both naked drinking in the backyard and.
• 13:38
Speaker 1: There was a pool in vault already four two five,
• 13:41
Speaker 1: four seven to seven E good morning, Romeo. I thought
• 13:43
Speaker 1: Rader Rob was married. Either way, he is a dumbass.
• 13:46
Speaker 1: He just ratted himself out. Does he not think his
• 13:50
Speaker 1: wife doesn't listen to the radio? Yeah, I don't know
• 13:54
Speaker 1: about all that Raider Rov is.
• 13:58
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 13:58
Speaker 1: Raider Rob does his own thing, yo, Rome, not related
• 14:02
Speaker 1: to a full party. But my neighbor was a bit
• 14:05
Speaker 1: younger than me. I'm thirty five. I'm thirty five, he's
• 14:08
Speaker 1: thirty two. He was telling me he was gonna he
• 14:11
Speaker 1: was going to moving move his mom in. I didn't
• 14:16
Speaker 1: think much of it. I imagined a senior type, other
• 14:19
Speaker 1: older lady Rome. She turned out to be some pretty
• 14:22
Speaker 1: hot fifty five year old. It was like Friday. It
• 14:25
Speaker 1: was like the Friday movie scene. I went to check
• 14:28
Speaker 1: my mail, she was water in the grass and started flirting.
• 14:31
Speaker 1: Long story, short room. I really hope my neighbor doesn't
• 14:34
Speaker 1: find out his mom is a really good neighbor to me.
• 14:38
Speaker 1: So you're thirty five sleeping with the neighbor with your
• 14:43
  Speaker 1: neighbor's mom was fifty five. I don't think there's anything
• 14:48
Speaker 1: wrong with that. I mean, these fifty five year old
• 14:50
Speaker 1: women nowadays look hot.
• 14:52
Speaker 2: Don't get me wrong. Women today.
• 14:56
Speaker 1: At fifty five like a lot different than women in
• 14:58
Speaker 1: the nineties at fifty five.
• 15:01
  Speaker 2: So yeah, good.
• 15:04
  Speaker 1: Luck with that.
• 15:04
Speaker 2: Wait till he finds out see how that goes down? Yeah,
• 15:08
Speaker 2: I mean there is a lot of let me put
• 15:13
Speaker 2: to you like this, there's.
• 15:15
Speaker 1: A lot of single, single women, a lot of divorced
• 15:19
Speaker 1: single women running around your neighborhoods causing hav it. You
• 15:22
Speaker 1: women need to watch your men, you know. And I
• 15:25
Speaker 1: don't care what anybody says. If he loves you, you
• 15:29
Speaker 1: don't have to worry about it, all that stupid saying, Wow,
• 15:31
Speaker 1: and my man really loved me.
• 15:32
Speaker 2: I don't got to worry about my man. Don't trust
• 15:34
  Speaker 2: my man?
• 15:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, you trust your man until a fifty five year
• 15:37
Speaker 1: old single divorce a shows up, have naked, try to
• 15:40
Speaker 1: get him to go. What did Raiders Rob say? Change
• 15:43
Speaker 1: a pro paint tank? Hey Romeo, I have to buy
• 15:48
  Speaker 1: I have a built in pool. I see, I see
• 15:50
Speaker 1: a lot of people rent theirs out on that. Having
• 15:55
Speaker 1: strangers in your pool. Yeah, I read a story about that.
• 16:01
Speaker 1: I think that's ridiculous to do that. I would never
• 16:04
Speaker 1: But then again, I don't even want my own family
• 16:06
Speaker 1: in my house, so I'm not I'm not the best
• 16:08
Speaker 1: person to ask about renting anything or people being in
• 16:11
Speaker 1: my space. But yeah, I saw a story the other
• 16:16
Speaker 1: day where a guy supposedly rented out his pool a
• 16:18
Speaker 1: lawyer for the military. I think it was certain branch
• 16:21
Speaker 1: of the military. He rented out of his pool, and
• 16:23
Speaker 1: now he could be facing jail time for whatever antics
• 16:26
Speaker 1: happened at that pool party.
• 16:27
  Speaker 2: So yeah, I don't know about all that. I don't
• 16:31
  Speaker 2: know if I'm yeah, I don't. I don't think it's
• 16:33
  Speaker 2: a good idea.
• 16:34
Speaker 1: If you really need a pool, just go to Motel
• 16:36
Speaker 1: six and rent a room for the day, take your
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: kids swimming.
• 16:39
Speaker 2: What did you send me here?
• 16:41
  Speaker 1: Oh I got this yesterday and I didn't have a
• 16:43
Speaker 1: chance to get into it. He says, Rome are women
• 16:46
Speaker 1: in though Gordo's fat guys now nowadays? Uh, Like, is
• 16:53
Speaker 1: it a trend or what do you mean by that?
• 16:57
Speaker 1: I'm not sure what you what you mean by nowadays?
• 17:00
Speaker 1: Like fat guys were never in and now they're now
• 17:03
Speaker 1: that's all women want because it's trending or.
• 17:07
Speaker 2: Or what what are you trying to tell me here?
• 17:09
  Speaker 6: All right?
• 17:09
Speaker 1: Eight four two, five to four or seven to seven. Basically,
• 17:12
Speaker 1: I'll tell you this as a general rule, uh in life, Okay, Rich,
• 17:19
Speaker 1: fat guys and funny fat guys in the history of
• 17:21
Speaker 1: the world have always got women. Okay, I've always got women,
• 17:25
Speaker 1: No big deal. All right, now, is there a trend
• 17:29
Speaker 1: that fat guys are in?
• 17:30
  Speaker 2: No, I don't believe so.
• 17:31
Speaker 1: But I will say this, and I will say this
• 17:36
Speaker 1: specifically about women in Bakersfield, and you can. You can
• 17:42
Speaker 1: if this applies to women in other cities, then okay,
• 17:45
Speaker 1: but I will say this specifically about women in Bakersfield.
• 17:50
Speaker 1: Ninety percent of women in Bakersfield all want a guy
• 17:54
Speaker 1: who just wants them. They're not looking at at a
• 17:59
Speaker 1: certain point. The lifers Field are looking for a guy
• 18:03
Speaker 1: that just wants to be with them and treats them. Right, Okay.
• 18:08
Speaker 1: So I don't know if that answers your question. But
• 18:12
Speaker 1: the bottom line is, as a man in Bakersfield, if
• 18:17
Speaker 1: you're fat, if you're skinny, if you're rich, if you're poor,
• 18:20
Speaker 1: if you're whatever, and you can go out and find
• 18:24
Speaker 1: a woman. You can go find a hot woman. You
• 18:27
Speaker 1: can find a fat woman, you can find a rich woman,
• 18:30
Speaker 1: you can find a lazy woman. You can find whatever
• 18:32
  Speaker 1: type of woman you're into, whether you're a guy that's
• 18:35
Speaker 1: fat or skinny. In Bakersfield, if you treat her right,
• 18:40
Speaker 1: then she will get with you. You will have no problem
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: getting a girl. So I don't your question is a
• 18:45
Speaker 1: little vague. I don't know what you're asking me. But
• 18:48
Speaker 1: as far as Bakersfield goes, women in Bakersfield want a
• 18:51
Speaker 1: guy who's gonna treat them well.
• 18:54
  Speaker 2: And I'm not.
• 18:55
Speaker 1: Saying I'm not saying, you know, I'm not saying. When
• 19:01
Speaker 1: I say treat them well, I mean they want a
• 19:03
Speaker 1: guy who's gonna come home, who wants to be with them,
• 19:06
Speaker 1: who wants to spend time with them, who wants to
• 19:08
Speaker 1: treat them better than all these meatheads with meatheads that
• 19:12
Speaker 1: they went out with and treated them poorly because these
• 19:14
Speaker 1: guys were more into themselves than they were into the relationship.
• 19:17
Speaker 2: All right, Does that make sense to you?
• 19:20
Speaker 1: Somebody was asking me if fat guys were in I
• 19:24
  Speaker 1: don't think they're a trend, But I mean I think
• 19:28
Speaker 1: women and bakers will just want whoever's going to treat
• 19:30
Speaker 1: them right and whatever capacity they believe that is. I
• 19:32
Speaker 1: don't think I think women look I think young women
• 19:40
Speaker 1: look for you know, six or two with abs. I
• 19:43
Speaker 1: think as they get older, they start to realize that
• 19:47
Speaker 1: a guy's body is not as important as it as
• 19:52
Speaker 1: being taken care of in the capacity of whatever you want,
• 19:55
Speaker 1: however you feel you want to be taken care of
• 19:57
  Speaker 1: already four two.
• 19:58
Speaker 2: Five, four seven seven year we're O and tell that guy.
• 20:01
Speaker 1: Women love fat guys if they're hard working and genuine.
• 20:06
Speaker 1: I totally agree with that, especially in makersfield. I totally
• 20:09
Speaker 1: agree with that. And I mean, yeah, yeah, the only
• 20:15
Speaker 1: one the only people that are mad at fat guys
• 20:17
Speaker 1: are the skinny jackasses, the meat heads who can't get
• 20:20
Speaker 1: women because of their egos.
• 20:22
Speaker 2: You know you want me.
• 20:23
  Speaker 4: I take that.
• 20:24
Speaker 7: Guys are definitely in right now. You know, are trending.
• 20:29
  Speaker 1: I don't think you're not trending, but they're not trending,
• 20:33
Speaker 1: but they're you know, they're not.
• 20:35
  Speaker 2: I wouldn't say.
• 20:36
Speaker 1: I wouldn't say women are out there all just looking
• 20:38
Speaker 1: for fat guys and going.
• 20:39
Speaker 2: Now, that's what I got to get me some of that.
• 20:41
Speaker 3: Now, I feel like they are. When I walk out there,
• 20:44
Speaker 3: I feel like they're all got their eyes on me.
• 20:46
Speaker 6: They're looking, and they're looking at me.
• 20:48
Speaker 7: See if I got a ring, if I'm available, because
• 20:51
Speaker 7: I think these women have learned that fat guys know
• 20:53
Speaker 7: how to take care of them live in.
• 20:56
  Speaker 4: Okay.
• 20:56
Speaker 2: First of all, First of all, they're not all looking
• 20:59
Speaker 2: at you. You you're an idiot if you think that.
• 21:02
Speaker 1: Second of all, no fat guys are not Some fat
• 21:07
  Speaker 1: guys are jackasses.
• 21:08
Speaker 2: Okay, not all of them are great guys.
• 21:10
Speaker 1: And just like some some guys, skinny guys are are
• 21:14
Speaker 1: are are are genuine as well. Not all skinny guys
• 21:17
Speaker 1: are jackasses. So you are one wrong in your thought
• 21:22
  Speaker 1: process right now.
• 21:23
Speaker 7: Well, I've never had a plumploying a beautiful woman, and
• 21:29
Speaker 7: it's gotten even easier as I've gotten older, because when
• 21:32
Speaker 7: I was younger fat guys. No women wanted a young
• 21:35
Speaker 7: fat guy, But an older fat guy they know if
• 21:37
  Speaker 7: he's responsible, that's paying the bills, he's taking around. I'm
• 21:41
Speaker 7: telling you, we're in. Fat guys make the world go around.
• 21:44
Speaker 1: We can get out of here. You're an idiot. He's
• 21:47
Speaker 1: one hundred percent wrong. Fat guys, first of all, do
• 21:51
Speaker 1: not make the world go round. I know plenty of guys. Uh,
• 21:54
Speaker 1: you might want to say older guys make the world
• 21:57
Speaker 1: go around. Maybe maybe you want to say that, But
• 22:01
Speaker 1: I know plenty of guys who are in great shape,
• 22:03
Speaker 1: who are really good guys.
• 22:06
  Speaker 2: You know all.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: But if we're just gonna talk about fat guys specifically,
• 22:12
  Speaker 1: I don't think they're a trend. I don't think women
• 22:14
Speaker 1: are going out. Yeah, I gotta get me a fat guy,
• 22:16
Speaker 1: but I think they women.
• 22:18
Speaker 2: Are smart enough in Vegersfield to go.
• 22:20
Speaker 1: I don't care what he looks like at a certain point,
• 22:23
Speaker 1: I just want a guy that's gonna treat me, treat
• 22:26
Speaker 1: me with respect, and communicate with me and love me.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: I think then, and they just start looking for that.
• 22:33
Speaker 1: Somebody was asking me if fat guys were in. I
• 22:36
  Speaker 1: guess they're trending.
• 22:36
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 22:37
Speaker 1: Alrighty four two to five or seven to seven eight Romeo.
• 22:40
Speaker 1: As a woman, let me tell you how it goes.
• 22:43
Speaker 1: It's not that fat guys are in or out. It's
• 22:46
Speaker 1: the way that women think about men. Women in their
• 22:49
Speaker 1: twenties want that young, hot guy who's gonna be a
• 22:52
Speaker 1: millionaire when they get older, and it doesn't work out
• 22:56
Speaker 1: that way for them. They start to realize that they
• 23:00
Speaker 1: need to change what they're looking for. So fat guys
• 23:04
Speaker 1: look a little more attractive because they are a little
• 23:06
Speaker 1: more responsible, they do have jobs, and they do want
• 23:09
Speaker 1: to come home to you. That's the difference rome not
• 23:14
Speaker 1: just the weight or not just the weight. Well, yeah,
• 23:18
  Speaker 1: you know, I.
• 23:19
Speaker 2: Mean, okay, I get it, I get it. Okay, brow me.
• 23:25
Speaker 5: I just have a quick question off the subject whatever
• 23:28
  Speaker 5: you're talking about.
• 23:29
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 23:30
Speaker 3: I broke my ankle back in May.
• 23:32
Speaker 8: But right before I did, I had.
• 23:35
  Speaker 3: One free lunch.
• 23:36
Speaker 6: Does that like expire or is it still there at
• 23:38
  Speaker 6: the studio?
• 23:39
Speaker 2: Well, I think you have thirty days to pick up
• 23:42
  Speaker 2: the process.
• 23:43
Speaker 8: So okay, no, mom, but I was just curious before
• 23:46
Speaker 8: I drove over there.
• 23:47
  Speaker 2: Oh my god.
• 23:48
Speaker 6: I heard it yesterday and was like, oh my god,
• 23:50
  Speaker 6: I forgot I won that.
• 23:52
Speaker 5: In May, I broke my ankle, had surgery and completely
• 23:55
Speaker 5: forgot about the rest of the world.
• 23:58
Speaker 8: I tripped over my daughter's puppy.
• 24:02
  Speaker 9: It is.
• 24:02
Speaker 6: It wasn't supposed to be there because I just got back.
• 24:05
Speaker 8: From working at Albert Querky, just got back from the airport.
• 24:08
Speaker 5: Walked in the house, walked to the backyard.
• 24:11
Speaker 8: The puppy surprized me, trip me, and I broke my ankle.
• 24:14
Speaker 1: Is the puppy Okay, fine, fine, because I didn't step
• 24:18
  Speaker 1: on her.
• 24:19
Speaker 5: Okay, well, not to hurt her, and I just hurt
• 24:24
Speaker 5: myself ten times worse.
• 24:25
Speaker 1: Well, I will actually tell you. I will actually tell
• 24:28
Speaker 1: you this since you probably won't with Jay Reid. Called
• 24:31
Speaker 1: Jay Reid and ask him. He's actually he might be
• 24:33
  Speaker 1: nice enough and.
• 24:34
  Speaker 2: Give you lunch.
• 24:36
  Speaker 3: Okay, I'll try.
• 24:37
Speaker 8: I'll try him yesterday, but I couldn't get through.
• 24:40
Speaker 2: Oh well, just keep trying. You get a hold of him.
• 24:42
Speaker 2: He's the guy that can make that decision for you. You
• 24:43
Speaker 2: might hook you up. You never know, Okay, thank you?
• 24:46
  Speaker 1: All right?
• 24:46
  Speaker 2: Cool better?
• 24:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, just so you know when it comes to prizes,
• 24:53
Speaker 1: we do have rules. We do have rules that we follow,
• 24:57
Speaker 1: but we're not trying to be stingy. Nobody here, nobody
• 24:59
Speaker 1: here the radio station. Uh, it's not like we take
• 25:02
Speaker 1: them home. It's not like we get them if we
• 25:03
Speaker 1: don't give them out to you. The whole idea is
• 25:06
Speaker 1: to give you prizes, it's not to keep them and
• 25:08
Speaker 1: be stingy with them.
• 25:09
Speaker 2: So called Jay, you might hook you up.
• 25:12
Speaker 1: Michael Bean is here, for the Marriage and Family Center.
• 25:15
Speaker 1: It's Thursday, so let's talk to Michael.
• 25:17
Speaker 2: Good morning, Michael, Well, good morning, how are you? I
• 25:20
Speaker 2: am fabulous? How are you doing? Michael?
• 25:22
  Speaker 6: I think I make it?
• 25:25
Speaker 1: Michael Bean, Marriage Family Center, Marriage Family Center. That's six
• 25:28
Speaker 1: seven fifty one. Let me just go through the prompts
• 25:33
Speaker 1: as you get there to get to where you need
• 25:35
  Speaker 1: to go.
• 25:36
Speaker 2: Michael, Hey, I just want to ask you a question.
• 25:38
  Speaker 1: We're just talking a little bit about I don't know,
• 25:40
Speaker 1: somebody was asking me about fat guys, if fat guys
• 25:43
Speaker 1: are in with women, and I don't think fat guys
• 25:46
Speaker 1: are trending, but I do think women are starting to
• 25:50
Speaker 1: figure out that they want a guy that wants to
• 25:53
Speaker 1: be with them and in whatever capacity they feel taken
• 25:57
Speaker 1: care of is what they want, regardless of size. I
• 26:01
Speaker 1: guess the best way to put it, at what point, Michael,
• 26:06
Speaker 1: you got to you gotta start off right if you're
• 26:08
Speaker 1: if you're a guy or a girl or whoever, if
• 26:11
Speaker 1: you're trying to find somebody, you got to start off
• 26:13
Speaker 1: shooting for the for the fences, right. You got to
• 26:15
Speaker 1: start off with the million dollar guy and the six
• 26:18
Speaker 1: to two and the six pack abs.
• 26:20
Speaker 2: That's the guy, you got to shoot quarantine.
• 26:21
Speaker 1: You realize there's not enough of those around or he's
• 26:24
Speaker 1: not going to treat you the way that you want
• 26:25
Speaker 1: to be treated, and you got to switch it up.
• 26:27
Speaker 2: A little bit. Right.
• 26:29
Speaker 6: Well, i'll tell you what. It is a really good
• 26:31
Speaker 6: time to be in the gym business right now because
• 26:35
Speaker 6: people getting in shape is just really trending. In fact,
• 26:40
Speaker 6: starting the market more and more like razors for men
• 26:44
Speaker 6: so they can shave their bodies and you know, have
• 26:48
Speaker 6: their defined muscle shirt. It's just like it's almost like, uh,
• 26:53
Speaker 6: there's kind of no room for any sort of sloppiness,
• 26:56
Speaker 6: and there's just eye candy. That's what You've got to have.
• 26:58
Speaker 6: That eye candy. So and so asked to even have
• 27:03
Speaker 6: that first date. But I think a lot of people
• 27:05
Speaker 6: are finding that, pah, that's that's attractive for a minute.
• 27:13
Speaker 6: So you know, maybe need a hand with something or
• 27:17
Speaker 6: supathetic ear or something, and that other person is just
• 27:20
Speaker 6: kind of you know, they're just in their own world.
• 27:24
Speaker 6: They're just focused on, you know, more superficial things.
• 27:28
Speaker 2: Do you do you think?
• 27:30
Speaker 1: I think this might be a dumb question, but I
• 27:32
Speaker 1: think that especially in Bakersfield, I think men focus more
• 27:37
Speaker 1: on superficial things and don't learn their lesson more so
• 27:41
Speaker 1: than women do. I think women kind of, well, I
• 27:43
Speaker 1: wanted this guy, but now he's not treating me well,
• 27:46
Speaker 1: or he's kind of an arrogant, egotistical jackass because he's
• 27:50
Speaker 1: got you know, because he knows all the women want
• 27:51
Speaker 1: them or whatnot, and they start to realize, well, wait
• 27:53
Speaker 1: a second, this is not how I want to live
• 27:54
Speaker 1: my life, so let me figure it out. As opposed
• 27:57
Speaker 1: to guys who just jumped from the next attractive thing
• 28:01
Speaker 1: to the next attractive thing get treated the same way.
• 28:05
Speaker 6: I don't know, maybe men and women kind of do
• 28:09
Speaker 6: narcissism differently. Maybe women focus on their self development or
• 28:17
Speaker 6: something else, or you know, they just kind of turn
• 28:20
Speaker 6: inward a little bit or kind of just I don't know,
• 28:24
Speaker 6: maybe it just looks different, but I'm not sure. I
• 28:27
Speaker 6: think it's sort of an equal opportunity thing where you
• 28:30
Speaker 6: can just get too focus on with the botox and
• 28:34
Speaker 6: you know, just the perfect this and the perfect that.
• 28:37
  Speaker 6: I don't know that it's a real gender specific thing.
• 28:40
  Speaker 6: I think that I don't know. I think people kind
• 28:44
Speaker 6: of get it. People get the idea of I want
• 28:46
Speaker 6: to look good and if I need to spend some
• 28:49
Speaker 6: money or have a procedure, or go to the gym
• 28:52
Speaker 6: all the time, whatever I need to do to have
• 28:54
Speaker 6: a certain look. You know, Okay, there's something to that,
• 28:58
Speaker 6: But again I think what I knowed that doesn't last it.
• 29:05
Speaker 1: As funny as and I don't know if you've seen
• 29:08
Speaker 1: this or not in your profession, but with these glp
• 29:13
Speaker 1: ones and these ozempics and whatever, or these guys going
• 29:17
Speaker 1: to working out, are these guys taking these with with
• 29:21
Speaker 1: how easy it is nowaday for men and women to
• 29:25
Speaker 1: lose weight and get skinnier. Have you noticed problems occurring
• 29:31
Speaker 1: in relationships? Because when you got too fat, people that
• 29:34
Speaker 1: don't look you know, they just kind of feel like, oh,
• 29:36
Speaker 1: you've always said this, Michael.
• 29:37
Speaker 2: People kind of attracted to.
• 29:39
Speaker 1: People who they think look at the same attracted level
• 29:42
Speaker 1: as them. So when you're in this, when you're in
• 29:45
Speaker 1: this marriage for ten years and then all of a sudden,
• 29:48
Speaker 1: one of you decides, you know what, I'd so.
• 29:50
Speaker 2: Much easy for me to lose weight.
• 29:51
Speaker 1: I'm gonna get thin again, and my ego is going
• 29:53
Speaker 1: to get better, My insecuritys are going to go away
• 29:56
Speaker 1: all of a sudden. Do you see problems with couples
• 30:00
  Speaker 1: because of this.
• 30:02
Speaker 6: Yeah, when one person starts to really focus on looking
• 30:07
Speaker 6: more attractive, being more in shape, even getting ahead, even
• 30:11
Speaker 6: like okay, well I'm going to get that degree or
• 30:13
Speaker 6: that certificate or whatever, or a little better job, get
• 30:16
Speaker 6: a promotion, the other partner can start to feel a
• 30:19
Speaker 6: little bit challenged, like, well, are you are you? Are
• 30:24
Speaker 6: we growing apart? Are you sort of moving on from me?
• 30:28
Speaker 6: It's not just that you're trying to improve yourself, but
• 30:30
Speaker 6: are you just trying? You know, I'm not good enough
• 30:32
Speaker 6: for you anymore? Kind of yeah, so it kind of
• 30:34
Speaker 6: it can challenge a person sense of you know, am
• 30:38
Speaker 6: I still okay the way I am?
• 30:41
Speaker 1: Well, Michael, Michael Ben is here for the Managing Family Center.
• 30:45
Speaker 1: Hold on a second, we're get going more so. Michael
• 30:47
Speaker 1: Bean is here for the Manager Family Center. Six one, three,
• 30:50
Speaker 1: two seven fifty one. Good morning, Michael, Well, good morning.
• 30:54
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 30:54
Speaker 1: We were talking a little bit about changes about weight change,
• 30:58
Speaker 1: but I want to talk.
• 30:58
Speaker 2: About change in general, just in a relationship, because wait,
• 31:05
  Speaker 2: a job.
• 31:07
Speaker 1: There are a lot of different things in a relationship
• 31:09
Speaker 1: that are a major change, right, And when when one
• 31:14
Speaker 1: person in that relationship decides to make a significant change
• 31:19
Speaker 1: in their lifestyle. Does that mean they're just waiting? They're
• 31:23
Speaker 1: they're they're gonna they're getting cheated on because the person
• 31:25
Speaker 1: that's not making the significant change always gets insecure and thinks,
• 31:30
Speaker 1: oh my god, does this person not want me anymore
• 31:32
Speaker 1: because of the significant change whatever that may be, or
• 31:36
Speaker 1: is that just their own insecurity.
• 31:38
Speaker 6: Believe it or not. I get that question quite a bit, huh.
• 31:42
Speaker 6: And I don't think anyone who asks me that question
• 31:46
Speaker 6: likes the answer. They do. They'll say, hey, you know,
• 31:50
Speaker 6: my partner's going back to school, or they're they're starting to,
• 31:54
Speaker 6: you know, work out a lot at the gym and
• 31:56
Speaker 6: they're getting into shape and they're really focusing on this
• 31:59
Speaker 6: whatever so improvement they're kind of doing. Should I worry?
• 32:02
Speaker 6: They asked me, Should I worry?
• 32:04
  Speaker 9: Huh?
• 32:06
Speaker 6: And I always tell them, yes, you should worry. You
• 32:10
Speaker 6: should worry. If you're not working on yourself as much
• 32:14
Speaker 6: as they are, then they are going to get bored
• 32:16
Speaker 6: with you. Then they are going to kind of kind
• 32:19
Speaker 6: of take a second look at you and think, well,
• 32:21
Speaker 6: wait a minute, you know, I'm working pretty hard and
• 32:25
Speaker 6: I'm getting myself kind of to be a better person.
• 32:27
Speaker 6: And then they're they're going to look over at you
• 32:30
Speaker 6: and one day they're going to kind of go, what
• 32:32
  Speaker 6: are you doing?
• 32:33
  Speaker 1: You know?
• 32:33
Speaker 6: And what am I doing with you?
• 32:38
  Speaker 2: I will say, I don't know why anybody doesn't.
• 32:40
Speaker 1: That makes perfect sense because if you go, if you
• 32:44
Speaker 1: look at somebody and they're going down a bad path,
• 32:46
Speaker 1: and you look at your spouse and go, wait, this
• 32:48
Speaker 1: path that you're leading down is just not beneficial or
• 32:52
Speaker 1: healthy for me and you. What's the difference between towing
• 32:56
Speaker 1: down a good path? Well, now I want to better myself,
• 32:58
Speaker 1: but you don't. But what if the other spouse doesn't
• 33:02
Speaker 1: need to be better?
• 33:06
Speaker 6: Well, I mean, okay, maybe they don't need to be better.
• 33:10
Speaker 6: Maybe just you do, and maybe you are going to
• 33:13
Speaker 6: kind of move on from them, But you are moving
• 33:15
Speaker 6: on from them. Your partner really is moving on from
• 33:19
Speaker 6: you when they are improving themselves and you're not. It
• 33:23
Speaker 6: doesn't mean you have to improve yourself in the same way.
• 33:25
Speaker 6: Just become a more fully developed, more interesting person, have
• 33:29
Speaker 6: something to talk about at the table when you get together,
• 33:33
Speaker 6: and not just you know, give me another beer and
• 33:38
Speaker 6: a loud belch and that's just not going to make
• 33:40
  Speaker 6: it good.
• 33:41
Speaker 10: You see, Now, this kind of this kind of flows
• 33:46
Speaker 10: into what you wrote down Michael from the other day
• 33:50
Speaker 10: about getting out of your comfort zone for your spouse.
• 33:54
Speaker 1: Now, if your spouse comes home and says, you know what,
• 33:58
Speaker 1: I'm going to get into skydiving. I really I've been
• 34:00
Speaker 1: wanting to do it forever. Now, then skydiving is just
• 34:04
Speaker 1: going to consume consume me, and you either gonna get
• 34:07
Speaker 1: on board or get not. How what if I don't
• 34:11
Speaker 1: want to skydive? What if I don't want to jump
• 34:13
Speaker 1: out of a point? What if I'm scared? What if
• 34:14
Speaker 1: I you know, for all these different reasons. Now I
• 34:16
Speaker 1: gotta jump on board because, Uh, this improvement or change
• 34:20
Speaker 1: that's going on in my spouse's life is uh, she
• 34:24
Speaker 1: gonna leave me because it.
• 34:27
Speaker 6: No, But I'm gonna go to the classes with her.
• 34:30
Speaker 6: I'm gonna drive her there. I'm gonna become a part
• 34:32
Speaker 6: of things. I'm gonna talk to her about it. I'm
• 34:34
Speaker 6: gonna around her on the ground, welcoming to her when
• 34:38
Speaker 6: her feet hit the ground and being scared and nervous
• 34:41
Speaker 6: for her, and then give her a big, huge hug
• 34:42
Speaker 6: after I want to be the guy that gives her
• 34:44
  Speaker 6: the hug afterward.
• 34:45
Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, so that's what you mean by that, don't
• 34:48
Speaker 1: necessarily that you have to be well when you said, Michael,
• 34:54
Speaker 1: that changes that just what you just said changes so
• 34:57
Speaker 1: much when I start to apply that to real life,
• 35:00
Speaker 1: to just people. I know, you know, guys who go
• 35:03
Speaker 1: play golf but their wives don't want to go play
• 35:05
  Speaker 1: golf with.
• 35:06
Speaker 2: Them, you know, because oh it's too long, it's too hot. Well, okay,
• 35:10
Speaker 2: but meet me at the club afterwards.
• 35:12
Speaker 6: Yeah, I just know or something. Let's figure out how
• 35:14
Speaker 6: to make this, you know, part of us, part of
• 35:17
Speaker 6: kind of what we do.
• 35:19
Speaker 1: That what you just said, Michael, really, I would say
• 35:23
Speaker 1: about seventy percent of Baker's film needs to hear it
• 35:26
Speaker 1: to understand that, Hey, there's a way to be a
• 35:29
Speaker 1: part of something for your spouse that you may not
• 35:32
Speaker 1: want to, you may not like it, but there's still
• 35:34
  Speaker 1: a way to.
• 35:35
Speaker 2: Be a part of it.
• 35:37
Speaker 1: Absolutely, And I just think, once again, I got to
• 35:40
Speaker 1: go back to people are stupid because it doesn't seem
• 35:43
Speaker 1: that difficult or it doesn't seem that complicated. Hold on, Michael,
• 35:47
Speaker 1: we got to talk a little bit more about it.
• 35:48
Speaker 1: Michael Bean is here. Michael Bean is here from the
• 35:50
Speaker 1: Marriage of Family Center six one three two seven.
• 35:53
Speaker 2: Fifty one hundred. Good morning, Michael, Good morning.
• 35:57
Speaker 1: Okay, so we're talking about kind of how far you
• 36:00
Speaker 1: should go for your relationship or how far outside your
• 36:03
Speaker 1: comfort zone. We're talking about your partner changing in a
• 36:06
  Speaker 1: significant way.
• 36:08
Speaker 2: What does that mean for you? How do you handle it?
• 36:12
Speaker 2: I mean? Or does that mean?
• 36:15
  Speaker 6: You know?
• 36:15
Speaker 2: I mean? What about both sides of it? Michael?
• 36:18
Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to change. I want to do this
• 36:20
Speaker 1: now and now I want you to do this with me.
• 36:23
Speaker 1: But you're not really comfortable with this whatever this is.
• 36:26
Speaker 1: And now am I being selfish or are you being selfish?
• 36:31
Speaker 1: Or what do we do Michael? How do we look
• 36:33
Speaker 1: at both sides of it?
• 36:36
Speaker 6: Well, I mean, there's different ways that we can approach it.
• 36:38
Speaker 6: Are you in a relationship where your partner's changing and
• 36:41
Speaker 6: they're kind of putting pressure on you to change or
• 36:44
Speaker 6: are you the one that's doing to change and you're
• 36:46
Speaker 6: looking over how much pressure should you put on your partner?
• 36:49
Speaker 6: Which way do you want to which way you want
• 36:52
  Speaker 6: to do it?
• 36:53
Speaker 1: Okay, So you're, like you said, your partner's running one
• 36:57
Speaker 1: hundred miles an hour, doesn't stop. Yeah, Now you're sitting
• 37:01
Speaker 1: there going how do I keep up? What from that perspective,
• 37:05
Speaker 1: what do I do?
• 37:06
Speaker 6: Yeah? Well, I mean what you do is up to
• 37:11
Speaker 6: you for sure. Yeah, you know, and I don't know
• 37:17
Speaker 6: that you have to I don't know they have to
• 37:20
Speaker 6: do things that are super far outside of your comfort zone.
• 37:24
Speaker 6: I think we all need to keep growing and changing
• 37:27
Speaker 6: and developing. And if we're not, then, like I said,
• 37:31
Speaker 6: our partner is going to look over and kind of go,
• 37:33
Speaker 6: what are you doing?
• 37:34
  Speaker 2: You know?
• 37:34
Speaker 6: And why am I with you? So I think we
• 37:37
Speaker 6: just make sure that we don't become that person and
• 37:40
Speaker 6: we figure out, okay, well what am I going to develop?
• 37:42
  Speaker 5: What?
• 37:42
Speaker 6: Where? Where do I change from here? How do I
• 37:45
Speaker 6: grow at this point? And and do that we overcome
• 37:50
Speaker 6: a bad habit? You know, maybe I could cut down
• 37:52
Speaker 6: on my drinking a little bit, maybe I could increase
• 37:54
Speaker 6: my exercise a little bit, whatever, but you got to
• 37:59
  Speaker 6: do something.
• 38:00
Speaker 2: Well, let me put it to you like this, Michael.
• 38:03
Speaker 1: What if and I kind of joked about it, What
• 38:06
Speaker 1: if I don't want to grow?
• 38:07
Speaker 2: What if I'm fine? Right? What if your partner was
• 38:11
Speaker 2: the one that I put this. If your partner decides
• 38:16
Speaker 2: we're going to grow in a certain way. But we're not.
• 38:18
Speaker 1: We didn't start at the same place. You know what
• 38:21
Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like, I've done all these things. I'm out
• 38:24
Speaker 1: here doing all these things, and all of a sudden
• 38:26
Speaker 1: you want to do all these other.
• 38:27
Speaker 2: Things, and now you're catching up.
• 38:30
Speaker 1: And now I'm not growing now because I've already done
• 38:33
Speaker 1: all the things that you're growing into.
• 38:34
Speaker 2: Does that make sense to you, Michael.
• 38:36
Speaker 6: Yeah, we started apart and now we're still sort of
• 38:40
Speaker 6: a part We're kind of growing on different levels from
• 38:42
Speaker 6: each other. You Now, I just feel like, as long
• 38:47
Speaker 6: as we keep coming together, as long as we keep
• 38:50
Speaker 6: making our relationship and each other a major part of
• 38:53
Speaker 6: our lives, I think I can weather that. You know,
• 38:57
Speaker 6: a successful relationship is a little bit like a successful business.
• 39:01
Speaker 6: What you have to do is you have to regularly
• 39:04
Speaker 6: pay attention to the important things. You have to regularly
• 39:08
Speaker 6: come back to the important things, you know. We depending
• 39:13
Speaker 6: on what the business is, you know, it's like, well,
• 39:15
Speaker 6: you know, hey, I've got to do a certain amount
• 39:17
Speaker 6: of marketing and I need to stay on top of that.
• 39:19
Speaker 6: I regularly, you know, come back to that. Well, you
• 39:23
Speaker 6: know what, I have a certain level of compliance data
• 39:26
Speaker 6: or whatever, so I have to keep coming back to
• 39:28
Speaker 6: that and checking and making sure my compliance is good.
• 39:31
Speaker 6: Whatever kind of your business is, whatever the constraints are
• 39:35
Speaker 6: and the needs are of that business, you have to
• 39:36
Speaker 6: keep well. The same thing for a relationship. You know, Hey,
• 39:39
Speaker 6: you know, we have to have a certain amount of
• 39:40
Speaker 6: fun together. We have to figure out how to put
• 39:43
Speaker 6: things in the calendar that we're going to enjoy doing together. Hey,
• 39:46
Speaker 6: you know what, we have to have a certain amount
• 39:47
Speaker 6: of time where it's just you and I just talking
• 39:49
Speaker 6: to nothing else. What's kind of going on? Hey, we
• 39:51
Speaker 6: need to kind of team up on taking care of
• 39:53
Speaker 6: the house or taking care of the yard, or you
• 39:55
Speaker 6: know whatever. Our kind of our mutual goals are the
• 39:58
Speaker 6: things that we kind of share, we got to do
• 40:01
Speaker 6: that too, and then that becomes what our relationship is.
• 40:04
Speaker 1: Gotcham, I got you all right. Michael Beani's there for
• 40:08
Speaker 1: the Marriage and Family Center. Michael Beani's here for the
• 40:10
Speaker 1: Marriage and Family Center. Six one, three two seven of
• 40:13
Speaker 1: fifty one hundred. Good morning, Michael, Good morning. This whole
• 40:17
Speaker 1: idea of people changing in a relationship, right, we would
• 40:22
Speaker 1: hope that if we got together in our twenties, we're
• 40:27
Speaker 1: different people than we are in our thirties, forties, fifties, kids, jobs, whatever. Right,
• 40:32
Speaker 1: we would hope we have become better people, right.
• 40:35
Speaker 6: Because we almost always we are.
• 40:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, but these significant changes are what really causes problems.
• 40:41
Speaker 1: And what you said up very perfectly when the song
• 40:44
Speaker 1: was on Michael, is well, what if one of us
• 40:47
Speaker 1: is happy with our life, our job, or we're not
• 40:50
Speaker 1: doing We're not doing terrible, We're not you know, struggling,
• 40:54
  Speaker 1: it's just we're we're in a nice place. And then
• 40:56
Speaker 1: one partner goes, well, no, we need to have more.
• 40:58
Speaker 1: We need to do this, we need that. You're going,
• 41:00
  Speaker 1: wait a second, I'm we're why.
• 41:05
Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, And then it's really hard not to feel
• 41:09
Speaker 6: like things are super unfair when when we have to
• 41:11
Speaker 6: sort of let our partner go. I gotta let you
• 41:14
Speaker 6: move on from me because I really am okay living
• 41:18
Speaker 6: in this tiny place or you know whatever, whatever my
• 41:21
Speaker 6: life is. I'm okay with this life. I see that
• 41:24
Speaker 6: you're not. You want something more in your life, and
• 41:27
Speaker 6: you know, bless you. I've got to let you go,
• 41:30
Speaker 6: and I don't want to hold you back. It's really
• 41:32
Speaker 6: hard to do when you have an emotional connection to somebody.
• 41:35
Speaker 2: Why do we always think more is better. I mean
• 41:41
Speaker 2: that just seems that is it? Just how do I
• 41:44
  Speaker 2: put this?
• 41:45
Speaker 1: If we're not moving forward in a way, then we're
• 41:50
Speaker 1: standing still and we're not becoming a becoming better. But
• 41:55
Speaker 1: why what if I've reached a point in my life
• 41:58
Speaker 1: where I'm okay, you know, everything's good.
• 42:02
Speaker 2: I'm not, you know, just having a decent life.
• 42:05
Speaker 1: I'm always say decent, having a good life, and then
• 42:07
Speaker 1: all of a sudden you go, well, we need to
• 42:09
Speaker 1: change because I'm bored, or because we we're at a stay,
• 42:15
Speaker 1: a standstill, because we're not looking for What's when you
• 42:19
Speaker 1: spend what you know, Michael, when you're young and you
• 42:22
Speaker 1: you spend twenty years, you know, working hard, getting better cars,
• 42:29
Speaker 1: getting a nicer house, and all of a sudden you've
• 42:31
Speaker 1: made it to a point where you're going, wait a second, now,
• 42:34
Speaker 1: what are we going to do for the next year?
• 42:35
Speaker 2: We still got to keep climbing?
• 42:37
  Speaker 6: Is not?
• 42:38
Speaker 2: Is that unfair to say?
• 42:40
Speaker 6: I mean, that's the way a lot of people look
• 42:42
Speaker 6: at it. And then there are a lot of people
• 42:44
Speaker 6: who sort of do achieve that Okay, I've got the
• 42:46
Speaker 6: house in the yard and the car, and I'm going
• 42:49
Speaker 6: to do the job and I'm going to keep going
• 42:51
Speaker 6: to the job and doing my job so I can
• 42:53
Speaker 6: come home to my house and my car. Yeah, and
• 42:58
Speaker 6: some people are just totally fine with that for quite
• 43:02
Speaker 6: a long time. Again, the problem happens when your partner
• 43:07
Speaker 6: isn't when you have somebody who's wanting to change and
• 43:10
Speaker 6: grow and learn and Okay, now I want to do
• 43:12
Speaker 6: the next step. Now I want to you know this,
• 43:15
Speaker 6: this house was fine, but you know, I want a
• 43:18
Speaker 6: vacation house. And your partner is like, yeah, that sounds
• 43:21
Speaker 6: like a lot of work. And so yeah, that's when
• 43:29
Speaker 6: there's a problem, is when people want different things in
• 43:32
Speaker 6: the relationship and different things out of them. How do
• 43:34
Speaker 6: we come together and be a partner still if we're
• 43:37
Speaker 6: not on the same page with some just major fundamental things.
• 43:42
Speaker 2: So what do we do?
• 43:43
Speaker 1: I mean, at some point, Michael, I guess I know
• 43:45
Speaker 1: that's not your business. But some people you just kind
• 43:48
Speaker 1: of go, well, and you need to go find that
• 43:50
Speaker 1: on your own or find some other but somebody else
• 43:52
Speaker 1: who wants that with you, because at this point in
• 43:54
  Speaker 1: my life I don't.
• 43:56
Speaker 9: And sometimes other times we can find ways to what
• 44:00
Speaker 9: we do connect on. You know, we still we have
• 44:03
Speaker 9: kids together, or we you know, we share other things
• 44:06
Speaker 9: that we've always shared that have been common. We have
• 44:10
Speaker 9: we have extended family now that we're connected to. So
• 44:13
Speaker 9: maybe there's enough that we can continue to focus our
• 44:17
Speaker 9: relationship around and really.
• 44:20
Speaker 6: Be a couple. Well maybe not. It just yeah, it's
• 44:23
Speaker 6: the case by case saying.
• 44:25
Speaker 1: Well, now, I got to ask you this one last thing, Michael,
• 44:28
Speaker 1: and that is this, at what point does your happiness
• 44:35
Speaker 1: overshadow the relationship or and or your mental health of
• 44:40
Speaker 1: your happiness? And you have to go a wait a second,
• 44:43
Speaker 1: this is just not how I want to live the
• 44:44
Speaker 1: rest of my life.
• 44:47
Speaker 2: And I'm not talking I'm just talking.
• 44:48
Speaker 1: About because of these changes of wanting more, wanting less,
• 44:51
Speaker 1: or whatever the case may be, you know, not actual,
• 44:56
Speaker 1: you know, nonsense where you should leave right.
• 45:00
Speaker 6: If I had the perfect answer to that, then every
• 45:04
  Speaker 6: work of fiction.
• 45:05
Speaker 2: That has ever been written wouldn't.
• 45:07
Speaker 6: Be interesting anymore. The truth is that is a mystery.
• 45:12
Speaker 6: That is the challenge of life is answering that exact question,
• 45:17
Speaker 6: Where do I find that balance between being me and
• 45:20
Speaker 6: being us? And where you know, how do I how
• 45:24
Speaker 6: do I do that? How do I hang on to
• 45:25
Speaker 6: what I love without letting go of too much of
• 45:29
  Speaker 6: who I am.
• 45:30
Speaker 1: Okay, so let me ask you this, Michael, is how much,
• 45:35
Speaker 1: if you and I are in a relationship, how important
• 45:38
Speaker 1: is my happiness versus your happiness to me.
• 45:43
Speaker 2: Not to you to me?
• 45:47
  Speaker 6: Well?
• 45:47
  Speaker 1: Does that make sense? I know it's I know it's
• 45:49
Speaker 1: a kind of a skewed question, but.
• 45:51
Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, you Well, humans don't do misery very well.
• 45:58
Speaker 6: If we are really unhappy every day and we just
• 46:01
Speaker 6: kind of don't really get much of a break from that,
• 46:03
Speaker 6: and okay, there's this one day that we finally, you know,
• 46:07
Speaker 6: just have a nice and then we go back to
• 46:09
Speaker 6: the drudgery for weeks on end. We something's got to
• 46:13
Speaker 6: give because humans don't do that. We don't stay miserable long.
• 46:17
Speaker 6: Something's gonna change. Something's gonna gonna happen. We're gonna change something.
• 46:22
Speaker 6: I just really hope that, particularly when there's kids involved,
• 46:25
Speaker 6: the thing that you change is the quality of your relationship.
• 46:29
Speaker 6: Very often people don't get along, they've got really bad
• 46:32
Speaker 6: habits of interaction. They bring up a worst in each other.
• 46:36
Speaker 6: They feel like, okay, well I got to be defensive here.
• 46:38
Speaker 6: I've got to kind of put up a fight against this,
• 46:40
Speaker 6: or I'm going to get steam rolled, and I'm kind
• 46:42
Speaker 6: of right, and yet they're putting up that defense just
• 46:46
Speaker 6: increases defensiveness, and now we're just not even listening to
• 46:49
Speaker 6: each other. We don't trust each other. We broken boundaries
• 46:52
Speaker 6: as far as the things that we've said or done
• 46:54
Speaker 6: in the relationship. That's the kind of thing that can
• 46:59
Speaker 6: totally be overcome. If those kind of things are getting
• 47:03
Speaker 6: in the way of just feeling comfortable in the home,
• 47:08
Speaker 6: then I mean, fix some Do those things, change those things?
• 47:13
Speaker 6: Those are the kind of changes that really help relationships.
• 47:16
Speaker 2: Do you got to go, Michael, Can you hang out
• 47:18
Speaker 2: for a couple more minutes or do you got to
• 47:19
Speaker 2: get out of good Okay? I want to ask you.
• 47:21
Speaker 1: I want to ask you something a little more serious
• 47:23
Speaker 1: now about happiness and stuff like that. Michael Venus here,
• 47:26
Speaker 1: So Michael being this here from the Marriage and Family
• 47:29
Speaker 1: Center at six one three two seven fifty one hundred.
• 47:33
Speaker 1: I feel, Michael, like this slow song, I'm going to
• 47:35
Speaker 1: slow it down and depress everybody right now with what
• 47:37
Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about. But when it
• 47:41
Speaker 1: comes to these feelings, as you say, as I talked
• 47:44
Speaker 1: to you earlier about being happy, you know, at what
• 47:47
Speaker 1: point does my happy versus my misery change our relationship,
• 47:51
Speaker 1: you know, or in er out of it? But then,
• 47:54
Speaker 1: as I'm thinking about a little deeper, what I would
• 47:58
Speaker 1: consider happiness because of my the way I was raised
• 48:03
Speaker 1: would be different than what somebody else considers happiness because
• 48:06
Speaker 1: of the time they ever raised. Do human beings even
• 48:10
Speaker 1: know what true happiness is or true feelings or I
• 48:14
Speaker 1: mean misery? I mean what, it's all a matter of
• 48:17
Speaker 1: perspective of generation of era. I mean, I don't know,
• 48:24
Speaker 1: you know, Michael, because I'm sure you've seen it before.
• 48:26
Speaker 1: You look at something and you go, that's just ridiculous.
• 48:28
Speaker 1: Why do rub some dirt on it? You'll be fine,
• 48:30
Speaker 1: stop crying, you know, and you go, well, wait a second.
• 48:33
Speaker 1: That's how I was raised, not how you were raised.
• 48:36
  Speaker 2: Yeah, so.
• 48:39
Speaker 6: I don't know what side you're right there, There are
• 48:42
Speaker 6: there's a different sort of There are different attitudes about
• 48:46
Speaker 6: feelings now in general than there used to be. That's
• 48:50
Speaker 6: for sure. Then our parents did, for sure, you know,
• 48:54
Speaker 6: they they did feelings way differently than we didn't their
• 48:58
Speaker 6: parents before that. Yeah, so, yeah, there are some kind
• 49:01
Speaker 6: of generational differences. People do know whether they're happy or not, Okay,
• 49:08
Speaker 6: and it's kind of it could be really difficult for
• 49:11
Speaker 6: us to sort of understand what a person's going through
• 49:14
Speaker 6: sometimes when we think, well, if I were going through that,
• 49:17
Speaker 6: I'd be feeling way differently about this, and so that
• 49:21
Speaker 6: can be confusing to us because then we do have
• 49:24
Speaker 6: thoughts like, you know, well, you know, are they overreacting?
• 49:28
Speaker 6: Is this? Are they really feeling? How could they be
• 49:31
Speaker 6: throwing this in that situation when I wouldn't. That's kind
• 49:34
Speaker 6: of what makes sense to our brains to think. But
• 49:37
Speaker 6: we're not them, and the very best we can do
• 49:40
Speaker 6: sometimes is to really try to get what they're going through,
• 49:44
Speaker 6: what's happening with them, and as their kind of world
• 49:48
Speaker 6: is collapsing in that moment or whatever. You know, when
• 49:50
Speaker 6: you watch a little kid lose their balloon, it goes
• 49:54
Speaker 6: floating away and they're just like screaming like they've just
• 49:57
Speaker 6: lost the body part. And to that kid, they have
• 50:01
Speaker 6: so that kid, it is the end of the world
• 50:04
Speaker 6: that boom, yeah, and it's going away to give it.
• 50:10
Speaker 6: So you know that we are all that little kids.
• 50:15
Speaker 6: Our emotional systems might mature, we might have some perspective,
• 50:19
Speaker 6: we might realize, Okay, there's other balloons.
• 50:20
  Speaker 4: In the world.
• 50:22
Speaker 6: But really, that emotional system, it just we just we
• 50:27
Speaker 6: still have it, and so we're still going to kind
• 50:29
Speaker 6: of go through the same sorts of thing. And the
• 50:31
Speaker 6: best we can do is, like I said, do our
• 50:33
Speaker 6: best to try to understand what somebody else is going
• 50:36
Speaker 6: through when they're reacting to something in a way different
• 50:39
Speaker 6: way than we might have.
• 50:41
  Speaker 1: Well I didn't say this, and I don't know who
• 50:43
Speaker 1: said it, but somebody said, the hardest thing you've ever
• 50:45
Speaker 1: gone through is the hardest thing you've ever gone through.
• 50:47
Speaker 1: For you, it might be different than for me. But
• 50:50
Speaker 1: I want to go back to the balloon thing. And
• 50:52
Speaker 1: this is kind of silly, but the kid loses the balloon,
• 50:55
Speaker 1: some parents will go, well, he needs to learn, and
• 50:58
Speaker 1: some parents will go, let's just go get them another balloon.
• 51:01
Speaker 1: And I don't think either way is wrong. It just
• 51:05
Speaker 1: depends on what how you going to how you think
• 51:08
Speaker 1: of things, or how you were raised, or how you
• 51:10
Speaker 1: feel about certain and when you apply that to relationships,
• 51:14
Speaker 1: Well you should accept this because of that, or I
• 51:19
Speaker 1: should accept this because of that, and you kind of go, well,
• 51:22
Speaker 1: we have different I just I like the way you
• 51:25
Speaker 1: said it, Michael. Understanding what they're going through so that
• 51:29
Speaker 1: you can kind of be more relatable to what's happening.
• 51:31
Speaker 2: And I don't think we do that a lot today.
• 51:32
Speaker 1: I think there's a big generation gap of people who
• 51:35
Speaker 1: don't do that anymore or don't know how to do
• 51:37
  Speaker 1: that well.
• 51:38
Speaker 6: I mean, who among us would not at least pick
• 51:41
Speaker 6: that little kit up and do our best to kind
• 51:43
Speaker 6: of give them a little bit of comfort for what
• 51:46
Speaker 6: they're going through. Even if us losing a balloon wouldn't
• 51:49
Speaker 6: have bad effect on us, you know, it's having that
• 51:52
Speaker 6: effect on man. And so I think that's what we
• 51:55
Speaker 6: can do with someone else who's going through things in
• 51:57
Speaker 6: a way different way than we are, is we can
• 51:59
Speaker 6: be that to the kid, you know, just lost the balloon.
• 52:02
Speaker 6: Yeah we're not going to cry if our balloon gets away.
• 52:04
  Speaker 2: Yeah they are.
• 52:05
Speaker 11: And so we can kind of go, you know, I
• 52:07
Speaker 11: just let me hold your hand for a minute while
• 52:09
Speaker 11: we walk, and or let me pick you up and
• 52:11
Speaker 11: you know, just kind of carry you a little bit,
• 52:12
Speaker 11: or you know, whatever whatever you're going to do as
• 52:14
Speaker 11: a parent to just to be there for and with them.
• 52:18
Speaker 11: And that's what we do with.
• 52:18
Speaker 6: Each other too. Somebody's going through something, it's affecting them hard.
• 52:22
Speaker 6: We just were We just try to be with with
• 52:25
Speaker 6: them in it, just you know, let's let me just
• 52:27
Speaker 6: be with you in this for a little bit.
• 52:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, but we tend not to do that with our
• 52:30
Speaker 1: spouses as much as we do that with friends or kids.
• 52:33
Speaker 1: For some reason, we don't sit there and go, you
• 52:34
Speaker 1: know what. I came home and Betty at work just
• 52:37
Speaker 1: did this, this and this, and you're going.
• 52:39
Speaker 2: Well, it's not that bad. You want to want me
• 52:40
Speaker 2: to hear what I have happened on my day or
• 52:42
Speaker 2: what you know what I'm saying.
• 52:43
  Speaker 10: We don't.
• 52:43
Speaker 2: We just don't. For some reason, we need just compare,
• 52:48
  Speaker 2: keep score.
• 52:49
Speaker 6: Right right right. I don't know why. I don't know why.
• 52:54
Speaker 6: We sort of start to expect our partners to act
• 52:59
Speaker 6: in things in the way that we would I don't
• 53:01
Speaker 6: know why we do that. We start thinking, well, you're
• 53:04
Speaker 6: you're crazy if you're not thinking like.
• 53:07
Speaker 1: Because people are stupid, Michael, I keep telling me people
• 53:10
  Speaker 1: are stupid.
• 53:12
Speaker 2: All right? What did you text me here? Let me
• 53:15
Speaker 2: get to him already?
• 53:15
Speaker 1: Four four seven to seven eight, Romeo, I got to
• 53:19
Speaker 1: tell you this. It was so embarrassing. Yesterday I got
• 53:24
Speaker 1: home early from work. I was taking care of business,
• 53:27
Speaker 1: and my wife actually came home early from work as
• 53:31
Speaker 1: well and caught me. I was so embarrassed. I was mortified.
• 53:36
Speaker 1: I didn't know what to do. I thought she was
• 53:39
Speaker 1: going to be upset, but she wasn't. She just kind
• 53:42
Speaker 1: of laughed it off, but I couldn't believe it. She said,
• 53:46
Speaker 1: that's what guys do, and then we ended up. Okay, well,
• 53:51
Speaker 1: I mean it worked out for you, but I was
• 53:55
Speaker 1: so embarrassed. I'm still embarrassed. I was still embarrassed a
• 53:59
Speaker 1: small when I saw my wife before we left for work. Okay, well,
• 54:05
Speaker 1: I mean your wife obviously. If your wife didn't care,
• 54:09
Speaker 1: I mean, why would you care?
• 54:11
Speaker 2: Already? Four two five fours seven to seven.
• 54:14
Speaker 1: Hey, but we all have embarrassing moments, right, What was
• 54:18
Speaker 1: your most embarrassing moment? Apparently this guy had his most
• 54:20
Speaker 1: embarrassing moment yesterday when his wife came home and caught
• 54:23
Speaker 1: him handling business without her, so at least he wasn't cheating,
• 54:27
Speaker 1: right already, four two five fours seven to seven. Let's
• 54:30
Speaker 1: talk about your most embarrassing moment. Let me think what
• 54:34
Speaker 1: my most embarrassing moment was. Wow, that's tough. Oh that
• 54:41
Speaker 1: is that's tough. Do you guys have one that stands
• 54:45
Speaker 1: out where you were just so embarrassed? M that's tough.
• 54:51
Speaker 1: That's a tough question. Answer already. Four two five fours
• 54:54
Speaker 1: seven to seven. What was yours? Oh, it was yours?
• 54:56
Speaker 1: You got an embarrassing moment? I have a feeling a
• 54:58
Speaker 1: lot of them. We're gonna have to do with sex,
• 55:00
Speaker 1: right alright? E four two five four seven seven A Romeo.
• 55:05
Speaker 1: I was out one night with my friends drinking. I
• 55:08
Speaker 1: ran into my baby daddy. We got drunk, we were
• 55:11
Speaker 1: hanging out. We went back to my place, you know,
• 55:15
Speaker 1: jumped in the sack. The next morning, he was passed out.
• 55:20
Speaker 1: Our son came in, jumped on us like we were
• 55:24
Speaker 1: a happy family, and said, Daddy, you're here. I was
• 55:30
Speaker 1: absolutely mortified because me and him had been broken up for.
• 55:36
Speaker 2: Like two years. There was no way I wanted my
• 55:38
Speaker 2: son to see that. Yeah, well, I mean it happens.
• 55:44
  Speaker 2: I don't know why he.
• 55:45
Speaker 1: Would be embarrassed. So like, what did your you know,
• 55:47
Speaker 1: what did your son think? Like?
• 55:50
Speaker 2: What did he? Yeah?
• 55:52
Speaker 1: All right, I mean the worst things could happen to you, right,
• 55:55
Speaker 1: all right? Eight four two five, four seven to seven.
• 55:57
Speaker 1: Like I said, you got what is your most embarrass moment.
• 56:01
Speaker 1: We're talking about embarrassing moments right now. What was your
• 56:03
Speaker 1: most embarrassing moment? Good morning out, what's going on?
• 56:06
  Speaker 5: An embarrassing moment?
• 56:07
  Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up?
• 56:08
Speaker 6: Man? So all my seventeen years.
• 56:11
Speaker 5: Old, my new high school as a player.
• 56:13
Speaker 2: You know, I went through.
• 56:16
Speaker 5: I went to the boying. I even with my sister,
• 56:18
Speaker 5: brother in law, cousins, a bunch of us. I haven't
• 56:21
Speaker 5: the universe. There was a prupal girl next door us,
• 56:25
Speaker 5: so I'll checking them out there checking me. I was like,
• 56:27
Speaker 5: you know what I want to you know, kind of
• 56:30
Speaker 5: I think the city walk in front of them, the
• 56:33
Speaker 5: pretty good man. I want to go try and pull
• 56:36
Speaker 5: a strike, and I struck out bad. I'm passed out
• 56:38
Speaker 5: there online And when he gets hip free letting on
• 56:41
Speaker 5: my ass. Oh my god, I was the worst thing
• 56:44
Speaker 5: ever broke. I got my crap. They were all laughing.
• 56:48
Speaker 3: I got my crap and I left.
• 56:50
Speaker 4: I just walked out to building.
• 56:52
Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's there is nothing worse than embarrassing
• 56:56
Speaker 1: yourself when you're trying to be cool right right, Although
• 57:00
Speaker 1: you should be embarrassed for calling yourself a player at seventeen,
• 57:03
Speaker 1: but okay, all right, Ben, thanks for calling.
• 57:12
Speaker 2: I gotta tell you.
• 57:12
Speaker 1: There's a lot of situations to be embarrassed. I mean
• 57:16
  Speaker 1: embarrassing situations that.
• 57:18
Speaker 2: We've all been in.
• 57:20
Speaker 1: But one of the worst is when you're trying to
• 57:23
Speaker 1: be cool and you just you embarrass yourself. That's one
• 57:26
Speaker 1: of the worst. Already four two, five, four or seven seven?
• 57:29
Speaker 1: All right, your most embarrassing moment? What do you got
• 57:31
Speaker 1: a four to two, five, four, seven to seven? Let's see, Hey,
• 57:35
Speaker 1: rom I was out with friends and I wanted to
• 57:37
Speaker 1: go home early as I'm not a big drinker, so
• 57:40
Speaker 1: I knew I had to fake drunk so I could
• 57:43
  Speaker 1: leave early.
• 57:43
Speaker 2: So I begin to pass.
• 57:45
Speaker 1: Out, and my friends were like, uh, take her home, Oh,
• 57:50
Speaker 1: take her home. And suddenly one of my friends comes
• 57:53
Speaker 1: up to me and says, I got you all virgin drinks.
• 57:56
Speaker 2: What are you doing.
• 58:01
Speaker 1: I looked at her and smile. That was so embarrassed.
• 58:05
Speaker 1: I said, you know, it's time for me to go home.
• 58:09
Speaker 1: Oh that's pretty funny. That's pretty funny.
• 58:12
  Speaker 2: Hey, Robio.
• 58:12
  Speaker 1: I went on a cruise years ago. I got a
• 58:15
Speaker 1: cute dress from a vendor. I wore it and was
• 58:19
Speaker 1: walking up the stairways to the next level. The wind
• 58:22
Speaker 1: hit me so hard it went all the way up
• 58:25
  Speaker 1: to my armpits.
• 58:26
Speaker 2: There was a whole row of old people.
• 58:29
Speaker 1: The top of this at the top staring at me,
• 58:32
Speaker 1: and I said, I hope you didn't see anything.
• 58:34
Speaker 2: They said, we saw it all. I died laughing.
• 58:40
Speaker 1: I thought that only happened in the movies where the
• 58:42
Speaker 1: dress got blown up like that. Wow, that's hilarious. Already
• 58:48
Speaker 1: four two four seven to seven. What's your most embarrassing moment?
• 58:53
Speaker 1: All right, so let's talk about their most embarrassing moments?
