- 0:00Speaker 1: Oh, man, window, look out the window. No more we
- 0:02Speaker 1: need I don't look out the window, but I need
- 0:04Speaker 1: that window.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Actually, it kind of freaks me out every time we
- 0:06Speaker 2: take off what we're doing. When I look outside and
- 0:11Speaker 2: you see how big that plane is, especially if it's
- 0:15Speaker 2: the bigger the plane, the more the thought is, you're
- 0:18Speaker 2: just like when you walk down, you're like, man, this
- 0:21Speaker 2: thing should not be able to remember when I worked
- 0:23Speaker 2: at Boeing, we went to the big factory and everywhere
- 0:27Speaker 2: they work make like the seven seventy seven is and
- 0:29Speaker 2: the seven eight seven or seven four to seven. Man,
- 0:31Speaker 2: the engine is like three times you and it's just like, how.
- 0:36Speaker 1: We It's so heavy and I get it like I
- 0:40Speaker 1: get it lift and velocity.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Trust me, it's it's a flying cigard to and the
- 0:48Speaker 2: things are the alloy is thin. It's gotta be like
- 0:53Speaker 2: to be like, it's freaky. Man.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Every every flight that I'm on, I look out that
- 0:58Speaker 1: window see us lift off.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I just be like, man, I go away from it.
- 1:03Speaker 1: At any moment, I.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Go away from it because you're just like and the
- 1:07Speaker 2: thing is how quick the stuff gets small.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 1:11Speaker 2: It's like when cities just look like square, like you
- 1:14Speaker 2: can see rids. We're just looking at grids and in
- 1:18Speaker 2: the car it started looking like you're playing the sims
- 1:20Speaker 2: and then you just can't see anything. Then you wake
- 1:23Speaker 2: up in your brother clouds.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You're like, I'm just like I think about it every flight,
- 1:26Speaker 1: every time, every time. It's never been a flight helicopter.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I would buy it. It's small, it's got the one
- 1:37Speaker 2: thing it's l like. I get it, and it it
- 1:40Speaker 2: goes up straight like you can see, oh generating, it's
- 1:43Speaker 2: pushing down helicopter when I flew in. That doesn't bother me.
- 1:47Speaker 2: But plane, you.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Haven't been in a helicopter.
- 1:56Speaker 2: We were in Hawaii. Did the Jurassic Park? Uh the fly?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy? Is it scary? No?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Just like, man, this is beautiful. But but Lissa said Aftercobe,
- 2:05Speaker 2: She's like, we're never doing.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Oh Kobe doors. Oh you did the one with the
- 2:12Speaker 1: Vietnam it's the good Morning ray cam. Was your arm
- 2:17Speaker 1: hanging out?
- 2:18Speaker 2: Were you strapped in.
- 2:23Speaker 1: What cow? Yeah?
- 2:25Speaker 2: You people, Wow, there's no reason you should be in
- 2:31Speaker 2: the helicopter, no doors, with nothing.
- 2:32Speaker 1: You should be locked into the hardest seal me in
- 2:37Speaker 1: nah Cam, I can't be in there. Roll like that Lord,
- 2:41Speaker 1: that's that's the Vietnam extraction.
- 2:44Speaker 2: That's not that's the one song of you, my fa
- 2:50Speaker 2: favorite part of the movie. That way, they always get
- 2:56Speaker 2: to the ladding. All right, Tucky, drop your gear here, man,
- 2:59Speaker 2: this is Tirs Man. He's gonna show you up. Grab
- 3:02Speaker 2: some child over there. Man, we're gonna head off. It's
- 3:04Speaker 2: always always chaos on the land when they get to
- 3:08Speaker 2: the cab. Yeah, man, grab you some ChIL mate. Best
- 3:10Speaker 2: Lieutenant Day, make sure to keep dry.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Smoot day and be like man, y'all don't even have
- 3:15Speaker 1: no warm up to the Vietnam none of it.
- 3:18Speaker 2: They straight to.
- 3:19Speaker 1: The balls to the wall in man. I love the
- 3:23Speaker 1: smell of napalm in the morning. Yeah, we out here
- 3:39Speaker 1: is the thick of it. Baby, We're in the thick
- 3:42Speaker 1: of it now, baby.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Oh my god. All right, welcome to the bar Brothers
- 3:46Speaker 2: Podcast with Kep on stage and Baker there we go.
- 3:50Speaker 2: We're doing this podcast because we're friends and we wanted
- 3:52Speaker 2: to do a podcast together. Because you're at work, likely
- 3:56Speaker 2: and you don't want to all right, turn that letter.
- 4:00Speaker 2: It ain't gonna fire you quit your job. Quit your job.
- 4:03Speaker 2: As long as you.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Don't quit our patreons the money. You get the money,
- 4:07Speaker 1: how you get it. But this podcast is just the
- 4:08Speaker 1: reason for us to talk about movies. We disguised it
- 4:10Speaker 1: with other topics. Today there's no disguise. Top ten Black
- 4:16Speaker 1: comedies of all time.
- 4:18Speaker 2: This is tough, all right. We gotta narrow and we
- 4:22Speaker 2: might have to argue on this one tone. We might
- 4:24Speaker 2: have to argue. We got to get the strongest list
- 4:26Speaker 2: present to other cultures because we're not doing the personal.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Now we're going together, okay, but we gotta If you
- 4:33Speaker 2: feel like keV, this is weak, put this on. You
- 4:36Speaker 2: gotta present to the other cultures. Oh got, okay, go
- 4:38Speaker 2: go the white people, they're gonna present their top ten.
- 4:41Speaker 2: We are the delegation for the Blacks, for the blacks
- 4:44Speaker 2: of the top ten comedies. We're stacking up against the
- 4:46Speaker 2: Latino comedies, agent comedies. Let's get all right, who went first?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Last time? I did you kick it first? Kick it off?
- 4:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna go. I already know what you're doing. You
- 4:58Speaker 2: know what I'm going with. I'm still one of coming
- 5:00Speaker 2: to it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I knew it, I knew I knew you. I knew
- 5:04Speaker 1: It's okay to know known. Marshawn is gonna run the patress.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Who cares to you know? You still gotta tackle them?
- 5:12Speaker 1: You still run it four times? Man, this is you
- 5:17Speaker 1: know Michael Jordan's getting the shot. They still passed it.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 5:21Speaker 1: Coming to America? Is that move?
- 5:24Speaker 2: That movie?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Comedy, perfect comedy.
- 5:27Speaker 2: The only problem I have with this movie, and it's
- 5:29Speaker 2: not the comedy. The last fifteen to twenty you fade
- 5:34Speaker 2: out by the last thing I remember laughing at and
- 5:38Speaker 2: enjoying is the train. If you're really a prince out
- 5:41Speaker 2: Aria after that started over.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I have a lot of comedies fail in the last
- 5:50Speaker 1: most comedies phase resolution.
- 5:54Speaker 2: They they don't have them. We up to the funny
- 5:57Speaker 2: games too there right, wrapping it up.
- 6:02Speaker 1: They'd be like, it's hard, it's hard, it's hard.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Wrap jud Avatad does a hard turn. He always goes
- 6:08Speaker 2: for the heart strings for another forty five minutes, which works,
- 6:11Speaker 2: sometimes doesn't work, or what I think happens, there's just
- 6:16Speaker 2: not enough time, like people want to wrap it up quickly,
- 6:20Speaker 2: or there wasn't enough story told to make a worthy
- 6:22Speaker 2: wrap up in the third act, you know what I'm saying. So,
- 6:27Speaker 2: but all that being said.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of what happens in the last
- 6:31Speaker 1: fifteen minutes.
- 6:32Speaker 2: So that's when he's when Amani is like, he's basically
- 6:36Speaker 2: chasing her. He's trying to get back with her because
- 6:40Speaker 2: on the on the train ride, he's trying to get
- 6:41Speaker 2: to her house and she's like, no, I don't want
- 6:43Speaker 2: to I don't want to be with you. It's like that,
- 6:45Speaker 2: and then they get married and they got the wedding scene.
- 6:48Speaker 1: When did they have the issue at the mcdowald house.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Is that in the last fifteen.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Minutes that I believe is probably the last twenty five
- 6:56Speaker 2: I think that's before that. That's the blow up when
- 6:59Speaker 2: she finds out who he really is.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, because his parents show up.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, But I'm trying to think of when that.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Moment you feel like it ran out. I gotta look
- 7:10Speaker 1: at it. I gotta look at coming.
- 7:11Speaker 2: To the more. The thing is no joke. After that
- 7:14Speaker 2: training scene, I haven't watched the rest of the movie
- 7:19Speaker 2: because I just was after a couple of times, I
- 7:20Speaker 2: was like, man, I don't really like nothing else that happens,
- 7:23Speaker 2: and I really like everything that happens up until that
- 7:26Speaker 2: point of course, So but anyway, still I'm not hard
- 7:29Speaker 2: when I'm coming to America. I feel like it's a
- 7:32Speaker 2: flawless addition to black cinema. It's got a great story
- 7:39Speaker 2: for me, like simple story.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Story is simple. The characters are super likable. It's mad
- 7:45Speaker 1: likable characters. The quotables, the quotables are all the chain.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Just it's just it's perfect.
- 7:52Speaker 2: That might be my gun to my head. You have
- 7:54Speaker 2: to quote the most of any movie in the world,
- 7:57Speaker 2: probably like that the Barbershop Seek with Ye Randy.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Every time we bring up by it right out loud,
- 8:07Speaker 1: so funny. The movie I'm picking is probably can go
- 8:10Speaker 1: toe to toe on quotables.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Really yeah, really.
- 8:15Speaker 1: My first pick total is Friday. Down there. The whole
- 8:21Speaker 1: movie is quotable. Friday has to be on.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Friday nails the resolution it does.
- 8:26Speaker 1: The resolution is firing.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Friday nails it because you know you got the money stuff.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 2: But Craig and Dee Bowl has been building.
- 8:37Speaker 1: That's a great ending too. I remember when I first
- 8:40Speaker 1: saw Friday, I was at a movie theater in Amarillo,
- 8:42Speaker 1: Texas because it wasn't playing in close. I was in close,
- 8:45Speaker 1: New Mexico at the times. We went to Amarillo, and
- 8:48Speaker 1: when that scene came up, he pulled the gun and
- 8:51Speaker 1: he shot it.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I was like, oh, this movie just took a turn dark.
- 9:00Speaker 1: We just got Hood real quick. And this is at
- 9:02Speaker 1: the time when Hood movies was thick. It's all just like,
- 9:06Speaker 1: oh we we had to have this.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I was just like, damn. And then the switches it
- 9:12Speaker 1: was just him imagining that. Oh my god. And then
- 9:15Speaker 1: the fight was exciting.
- 9:18Speaker 2: And the pop pops lesson Yeah, win something you lose.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Here's the thing where I think Coming to America work.
- 9:24Speaker 2: But I do agree on quotables yea. But the set
- 9:27Speaker 2: pieces in Coming to America was just like, man, the
- 9:32Speaker 2: whole all the barber shop scenes, Eddie our Sineo and
- 9:37Speaker 2: even Clyde the other black dude, was just like, remind
- 9:40Speaker 2: me of the other dude in Harlem Knights who just
- 9:43Speaker 2: shot the gun the other barber. It wasn't Eddie or
- 9:47Speaker 2: he was funny, they were, but Brandy Watson. I remember
- 9:50Speaker 2: being like the first time I saw that, I was like, man,
- 9:53Speaker 2: this is just. I was like, play so beautiful. Don't
- 9:58Speaker 2: you agree? Like I was just like, it's just And
- 10:06Speaker 2: I like even when in that song when they go
- 10:10Speaker 2: to the the other people and Randie's quiet it's still funny.
- 10:16Speaker 2: He's staying on the low end, make them easier. The
- 10:20Speaker 2: way he was doing it, the way he dropped the marcat.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Was like it was so it was so dramatic, random,
- 10:28Speaker 1: so much happening in that scene.
- 10:30Speaker 2: The dude put the chicken ball, Why would that be
- 10:33Speaker 2: the trash? I thought that was a trash.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And and and them playing multiple characters was so seamless,
- 10:42Speaker 1: or Eddie, it was so seamless.
- 10:45Speaker 2: And I loved that at that time my life. It
- 10:47Speaker 2: was Martin was doing all like for me. I didn't
- 10:50Speaker 2: watch Them to America when it first came out. I
- 10:52Speaker 2: watched it on the like later sold.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And when did you first see Coming to America?
- 10:58Speaker 2: Funny thing about it, I don't remember not not seeing it.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I just know it came out with eighty eight or
- 11:03Speaker 2: eighty eight eighty eight. I know we didn't go to
- 11:05Speaker 2: the theaters and watch it, Okay, definitely, I mean at
- 11:09Speaker 2: that time I was going in theaters, was not. We
- 11:12Speaker 2: didn't go all the time.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, we're not gonna put our butts and
- 11:16Speaker 1: he's dirty, secular seat.
- 11:18Speaker 2: We're gonna just watch the exact movie. Jesus would be here.
- 11:21Speaker 2: We're not gonna be there the same movie at home though,
- 11:25Speaker 2: and it's totally fun. I ever tell you what end
- 11:27Speaker 2: up happening.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Why my family believe that My pastor said it was
- 11:30Speaker 1: a sin, just my personal pastor.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Yeah, so I thought it was for all Christians. When
- 11:35Speaker 2: I was older, I asked my grandma what he was like.
- 11:37Speaker 2: She was like, oh, yeah, his son was having sex
- 11:39Speaker 2: and movie theaters and I was like, so so we
- 11:44Speaker 2: all that became a because we was on I just
- 11:47Speaker 2: want to watch the Lion King and stuff like I don't.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I don't want to watch sex movies. It was like
- 11:51Speaker 2: everything our movies inherently.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yeah, theater and seat you're sitting in watching your Lion King.
- 11:58Speaker 2: And then I went and had sex, and you know
- 12:01Speaker 2: it comes back. But noah, I think even when uh,
- 12:10Speaker 2: when the Key was talking about the football game, they
- 12:13Speaker 2: kicked an oblong ball through a giant age, it was
- 12:15Speaker 2: most exhilarated, Like and Sam Jackson was in there already
- 12:19Speaker 2: he was he was he was already old, no.
- 12:23Speaker 1: No nonsense from from jump you disease right now, pizzle pizzle.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I wanted to be the Landlord so bad. That's not
- 12:32Speaker 1: the character I want to play, man. I wanted that role.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Falling down the stairs. Crap on me, your wrints do.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I felt that in my soul because if you owe
- 12:49Speaker 1: me rent and I say you falling down the stairs,
- 12:52Speaker 1: I'm not gonna show no compassion. I'm like your rents due,
- 12:56Speaker 1: don't pull that falling down stairs. He was like, he's
- 13:01Speaker 1: like like man.
- 13:04Speaker 2: And I love. When they traded apartments with him, Oh man,
- 13:08Speaker 2: it was like, this is really not.
- 13:10Speaker 1: He was living in there. He was in the Jacuzi
- 13:14Speaker 1: art man. Well he dropped him off. He boys from
- 13:17Speaker 1: Africa used to that like.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Super racist, now super super It hurt us growing up
- 13:28Speaker 2: in America with no concept of Africa fan. The movie
- 13:31Speaker 2: did not help.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Oh my god. When they had on all their wares
- 13:35Speaker 1: outside in the community, that was so funny to me.
- 13:38Speaker 1: They were just out there. They had the first coats
- 13:40Speaker 1: on the necklaces.
- 13:41Speaker 2: On the necklaces were big boxes of gold.
- 13:45Speaker 1: With chilling out there. I was like, this is hilarious.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Oh he had nothing but the entrepreneur nigga nice gotta
- 13:55Speaker 2: be eight dollars.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I mean, bro, yeah, those two, those two movies right
- 14:02Speaker 1: there go to.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Other cultures are gonna have a hard time, all right.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Number three.

- 14:13Speaker 1: pay that the money you earned can be in your
- 14:16Speaker 1: hands today, it would earn in. Listen y'all. Getting paid
- 14:20Speaker 1: every two weeks never made sense to me, man, because
- 14:23Speaker 1: lifely happening day by day, So pay us day by day.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, because life be life and
- 14:31Speaker 1: day by day life don't be waiting every two weeks.

- 14:44Speaker 1: But it be a car issue, a medical issue. Uh.
- 14:48Speaker 1: The kids got a project, they gotta work on it.
- 14:50Speaker 1: You gotta get the supplies. You never notice that day
- 14:53Speaker 1: by day, so we need that day by day money.

- 17:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna jump out with Life.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I like Life.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I'm staying with Eddie Murphy. I like life, really proud
- 17:17Speaker 2: of Martin. Man Martin was the perfect I'm sad they
- 17:22Speaker 2: didn't do nothing else.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Together together after that boomerang in life, but Man Martin
- 17:28Speaker 1: was great. Eddie was in rare form in life.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Life is a more tragic like actual story story or telling.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Super Sad and the other resolution in life too.
- 17:41Speaker 1: They did. But the comedy in life, that's that's Eddie
- 17:45Speaker 1: Murphy's to me, that's my second favorite. Eddie Murphy is
- 17:49Speaker 1: coming to America in life. Yes, Life is number two.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Life has slowly climbed up year after year for me too,
- 17:57Speaker 1: And every time I watched Life, I'd be dying like
- 17:59Speaker 1: I never seen.
- 18:00Speaker 2: It, dying like I never seen it holds up partly
- 18:04Speaker 2: because the period piece, the ending is strong.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Ray said, when they get old, it gets even funnier
- 18:11Speaker 1: to all.
- 18:12Speaker 2: They went to and again we said, the third act
- 18:14Speaker 2: is tougher, Martin old with the toe in.
- 18:17Speaker 1: The Oh my god, this got a toe in the bottle.
- 18:21Speaker 1: And I love the fact that Martin was the straight man,
- 18:24Speaker 1: the cranky man all the way up. But then when
- 18:28Speaker 1: when they got old, Eddie's now cranky and Martin was
- 18:32Speaker 1: hilariously loose, and.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I was just, man, the pot was too hot.
- 18:41Speaker 1: That argument they have in the bedroom about to say
- 18:45Speaker 1: that that scene is perfect, I know it word for word, though,
- 18:50Speaker 1: He's like, what you're looking at? Ray? Just what the
- 18:53Speaker 1: fuck you looking at? Ray? I noticed you? And uh
- 19:01Speaker 1: my my a friend and lady man, what y'all want
- 19:04Speaker 1: to be a couple of something. Y'all got brewing, When
- 19:06Speaker 1: I got brewing? What I got brewing?
- 19:08Speaker 2: Ray? You tell me.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I got an ass whooman from brewing?
- 19:15Speaker 2: For you?
- 19:15Speaker 1: Ray, you don't quitch fuck with me. He is an
- 19:18Speaker 1: old man. I like to talk. That's all that is.
- 19:20Speaker 1: That's all that in. Oh here, old man like to talk. Well,
- 19:23Speaker 1: I'm a old man. I like to talk to what
- 19:25Speaker 1: you want to talk about. What you want to talk about, Ray,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk about the plan you've been working on.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I know you, Nick, I know you got something. The
- 19:37Speaker 1: face he was looking at, I know you. He was like,
- 19:43Speaker 1: kiss my ass, Ray, Wyn't you just go to sleep, man,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I'm going to sleep. I'm gonna go to sleep. I'm
- 19:49Speaker 1: gonna go to sleep. And he was like, you pistol
- 19:54Speaker 1: the bill that week? Ass batter, Yo? What if I do?
- 19:56Speaker 1: If I do, then I'm gonna put the sheets on you.
- 19:58Speaker 1: And you can see Martin Krack. You can see him
- 20:01Speaker 1: cracking there. I will put the sheets on you. He's like,
- 20:04Speaker 1: she's tight. Nick. Cut the light off. That scene is perfect.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Oh my god, I love the scene. I want to
- 20:15Speaker 2: actually recreate this with you. We talked about doing for
- 20:17Speaker 2: the ball when they try to get the whites only
- 20:20Speaker 2: pie and Eddie is Martin is not assessing the situation. No,
- 20:25Speaker 2: I know, I washed it back again. I'm like Martin
- 20:28Speaker 2: never looks around. He's like, I want the pie.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I want the pie.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Man. I got to do all this for some damn pie. Man.
- 20:36Speaker 1: We want to get Billy.
- 20:38Speaker 2: We want you know my name? He says on your shirt, y'all,
- 20:43Speaker 2: boy can read so good? Did you see side.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Color? The casting of that white woman was perfect because.
- 20:54Speaker 2: She was my Marge.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Marge, you ain't read that signe over there. Okay, we
- 21:03Speaker 1: wasn't taking the whites only pie in the Nigga Pie.
- 21:07Speaker 1: How about I tear y'all in the Nigga Pie? So
- 21:09Speaker 1: you say was still pissed.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Bro Eddie snuck in a little joke in that scene.
- 21:17Speaker 2: He was about the rescue or something. He was like,
- 21:19Speaker 2: why would she know that he's snucking in on the cools.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Eddie's looking around. He's like, I don't think man, I'm hungry. Man.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I know y'all was in serious about your pies. That
- 21:35Speaker 1: movie is so good.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Uh, And we only talked about Eddie and Martin when
- 21:41Speaker 2: they get to the jail. Oh my God, they had
- 21:45Speaker 2: every great black comedian all but they had Joe Torri
- 21:51Speaker 2: got to I'm sorry, got Tori.
- 21:54Speaker 1: And and and he baby Anthony. They had Bernie ma
- 22:00Speaker 1: Bernie Mac, they had Miguel Junior Man, Bernie matt As,
- 22:07Speaker 1: Jangle leg oh Man.
- 22:08Speaker 2: How many times? How long we.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Years? And it was like the scene, the scene that's
- 22:19Speaker 1: perfection to me as far as a comedic ensemble. One
- 22:23Speaker 1: scene is fired when you know Eddie Murphy is reading
- 22:26Speaker 1: the letter to one of the inmates. It's just like,
- 22:31Speaker 1: who else want we reading now? But the scene that's
- 22:33Speaker 1: perfection is when everybody's revealing what everybody did to get
- 22:37Speaker 1: put in jail, and it's going back and forth. It's
- 22:40Speaker 1: just like you the one made a jacket out of him,
- 22:44Speaker 1: I'm the one. And that which one of your niggas
- 22:46Speaker 1: killed Santa Claus, Well, I wouldn't Santa Claus. It was
- 22:48Speaker 1: he was just wearing the suit, ringing the bell. It
- 22:50Speaker 1: was just like boom boom, boom boom. Every day he
- 22:53Speaker 1: was just bringing the bell. So it was just perfection
- 23:00Speaker 1: a comedity.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Wan and that and one of my favorite just feel
- 23:04Speaker 2: good scenes and Martin Ruins it is the boom boom room.
- 23:07Speaker 1: When they think about that boom boom room and heaven.
- 23:10Speaker 1: It was just like, tell me about that boom boom yeah. Oh, man, man,
- 23:15Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. You gonna have gambling there.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Oh you knew, just for you. I made that steak
- 23:20Speaker 1: just for you. Cook Martin shows up like go get get.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Us, yardbird boy. Martin, shut up. I'm trying to hear
- 23:32Speaker 2: all man, Man, you shut up. Man, you talk about
- 23:35Speaker 2: the boom boom room. Man, it was so so good.
- 23:41Speaker 2: The story is good, but the just funny wise this
- 23:45Speaker 2: I say this all the time when they was we
- 23:46Speaker 2: can't get right. They got him to play baseball and
- 23:49Speaker 2: the white took the d like he walked off school
- 23:51Speaker 2: with my drink and it did walk.
- 23:53Speaker 1: He noticed it. He was like he won't go spool
- 23:55Speaker 1: my drink. Man. Were trying to all get out of jail,
- 23:58Speaker 1: like we chalking on to get him.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Ah god, so good. All right, so you're up.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Okay, number four, number four, I'm putting in Uh, I'm
- 24:15Speaker 1: putting house party in there. Okay, I'm putting house party.
- 24:19Speaker 2: How many alone?
- 24:21Speaker 1: Yep? Okay, house party. I watched that now, still laugh.
- 24:26Speaker 1: You're talking about the one with coriginal Robin Hell. No,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I just want to make sure.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Absolutely now nineteen ninety can't play Robin Harris, John Witherspoon,
- 24:41Speaker 1: George Clinton full force, take your fucking as old house
- 24:48Speaker 1: party for show.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Robin Robin Harris Man when he.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Got to the party and started roasting them up in
- 24:54Speaker 1: that party, Oh, I should have known you was here.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I've seen you're dripping from the driveway. He had no
- 25:01Speaker 1: problem founding followed. That was AJ Johnson, He was roasted. Yeah, yeah,
- 25:06Speaker 1: the curl. That was AJ Johnson. Oh house saw that
- 25:11Speaker 1: movie man perfect, That whole movie is.
- 25:15Speaker 2: He just wants to sneak out and go to He.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Just wants to go to the party. He got in
- 25:18Speaker 1: trouble for fighting his school. It wasn't his fault. The
- 25:20Speaker 1: bullies was on the bullies is still on them all throughout.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I don't know why these old ass niggas is in
- 25:27Speaker 1: high school. First of all, I don't know what they.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Thirty five years old playing football for the University of
- 25:33Speaker 2: Miami and they're supposed to be sixteen seventeen, and we
- 25:37Speaker 2: were just like right, sure, But only they worse than
- 25:40Speaker 2: that is the people in Greece.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Greece. They were.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I said, this is a woman is forty eight years old.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Nobody's young but Rizzo Rizzo.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Oh my god, all up in the heights a lunch lady, like,
- 25:53Speaker 1: what is happening here?
- 25:54Speaker 2: You're dropping out, ma'am forty eight years old?
- 26:00Speaker 1: No crack.
- 26:00Speaker 2: That white woman was forty eight.
- 26:02Speaker 1: She was she was old.
- 26:04Speaker 2: No, no, no, nothing from me. I'm gonna throw this in.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I know how you feel. But for me, this was
- 26:11Speaker 2: my favorite movie for a long time. Little parody film
- 26:14Speaker 2: called I'm Gonna Get You sucker.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Oh yes, well, by love welcome, I'm gonna get your Yes.
- 26:22Speaker 1: That movie Let's get it, the Let's get It. There's
- 26:27Speaker 1: so many funny things. Chris Chris Rocks one rib, one
- 26:32Speaker 1: on the ribs. That scene is so long, so short
- 26:36Speaker 1: because he's like on the pribs.
- 26:41Speaker 2: His face was one rib. How much for the soda dollar?
- 26:51Speaker 1: Just my hand, pull it in my hand for a dime.
- 26:55Speaker 2: You get your man pulled out when you put out
- 26:58Speaker 2: the water water.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Oh. I thought that was comedy personified. That was my
- 27:06Speaker 1: intro to Chris Rock me too.
- 27:07Speaker 2: You got changed one.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Even though he was in Beverly Hills Cop two as
- 27:12Speaker 1: a valet. I didn't remember him from that, but I
- 27:16Speaker 1: remember him and I'm wanna get you because the faces
- 27:20Speaker 1: he was making and while he was talking. Man, it
- 27:22Speaker 1: was so funny to me.
- 27:24Speaker 2: One rib because Hammer and Slammer they had no customers.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Pissed off. You want one slice of a rock?
- 27:31Speaker 1: Was always funny about that scene. Though they give him
- 27:34Speaker 1: a big ass bag or something, he leaves there with
- 27:38Speaker 1: a big ass bag, Like what what did he put
- 27:41Speaker 1: in that bag? He left with a big ass bagg.
- 27:45Speaker 2: The scene where Kennan ivery Wayns is with the light
- 27:47Speaker 2: skinned girl and nothing is real. My eyes aren't really green.
- 27:53Speaker 2: And she took the button off.
- 27:55Speaker 1: She took a bootyo, titties was all once. She took
- 27:58Speaker 1: that leg off, and she had the and the sound
- 28:04Speaker 1: effects they had when the butt hit the grounds are
- 28:08Speaker 1: pink tony. The way he kicked off the wig when
- 28:12Speaker 1: she threw it on me. He kicked the wig off
- 28:18Speaker 1: like it was a creature.
- 28:22Speaker 2: And she had that little piece when there.
- 28:25Speaker 1: The little girl she was hopping over to home.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I used to watch that at my Sady's house every
- 28:32Speaker 2: single day. Man, when when Jim Brown's.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Told got you've been that stiff bunny. The last shout
- 28:40Speaker 1: of it looked like it was about the diden they
- 28:42Speaker 1: It was like I.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Was and Damon Wayne's him and Kadem Harrison.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's the little hintsman.
- 28:49Speaker 2: When when the girl gets her period, which was the
- 28:51Speaker 2: first time I ever heard of that, so it like
- 28:53Speaker 2: scarred me a little.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Crash and he started screaming, had pits.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I wasn't screaming. I was whistling. I was whistling.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Those two as the thugs was mad funny than me though.
- 29:08Speaker 1: He was like always and they take the sticks. That
- 29:14Speaker 1: time when Bernie Casey was coming down the rope with
- 29:17Speaker 1: the dynamite and it blew up before he got this
- 29:20Speaker 1: death that was applied twist. I did not see coming.
- 29:24Speaker 1: He was repelling down there, the music going in there.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Bye. You just don't expect that to happen.
- 29:32Speaker 1: He blew up.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Man, I'm gonna get you. Suck as fire.
- 29:37Speaker 2: I love that movie. The underrated scene is the black dude,
- 29:42Speaker 2: the super black dude with the white girl, my whiteash.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Let's do it. They had bean soa. He's like, sir,
- 29:51Speaker 2: I just can't do it right.
- 29:53Speaker 1: You like, yes, yes, well it was like we there
- 30:00Speaker 1: with Guns came out with Jobs Williams the third Oh yes, yes, wow.
- 30:12Speaker 1: You see.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I wanted to make parody movies forever because I just
- 30:18Speaker 2: thought I'm gonna get you suck, and I never The
- 30:20Speaker 2: funny thing about that movie is I didn't grow up
- 30:22Speaker 2: watching black supportation films, so I didn't.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Even know they were parroting the genre. Never solve it
- 30:29Speaker 1: because it's funny on its own themes.
- 30:31Speaker 2: I found that out later in the documentary because I
- 30:35Speaker 2: was born eighty three, that movies were like seventies Dola my,
- 30:38Speaker 2: that was a, you know, very important part of our culture.
- 30:41Speaker 2: But I didn't watch any of those. I just thought
- 30:44Speaker 2: that was I didn't know none of the tropes. I
- 30:46Speaker 2: was just like, man, they together had their own theme music.
- 30:53Speaker 2: It was just it was perfect. Made me laugh so
- 30:57Speaker 2: hard when I first saw Job. I love it. I
- 30:59Speaker 2: want the ways to get They deserve a documentary and
- 31:02Speaker 2: their contributions to black comedy period, but especially black.
- 31:06Speaker 1: There would be a fire documentary because there's so deep
- 31:09Speaker 1: into comedy streets from from working with Eddie Murphy and
- 31:12Speaker 1: all this other stuff and then coming through I'm Gonna
- 31:14Speaker 1: Get You Sucking to the living color to the post.
- 31:17Speaker 1: That is man, it's so thick.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Just I want to make it so thick. I don't
- 31:22Speaker 2: know how to make documentaries though, and I feel like
- 31:25Speaker 2: all the comics would know. One would turn you down
- 31:29Speaker 2: if you got to email, like, hey, we're doing a
- 31:31Speaker 2: documentary on the Waynes family, you should make this. I
- 31:34Speaker 2: don't know how to make documentary. We can find out.
- 31:36Speaker 2: There's a certain like it's a skin.
- 31:39Speaker 1: We know enough people the way we can get this
- 31:41Speaker 1: documentary made.
- 31:42Speaker 2: We probably do. And I want to do it while
- 31:45Speaker 2: they're alive.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to do it now because Kenyan is
- 31:47Speaker 1: like sixty seven. He's in the sixties for sure. It
- 31:51Speaker 1: looks I feel like he's gonna be here for a
- 31:52Speaker 1: long time.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Yeah, me too. Their family was living long. But Damon Martin,
- 31:56Speaker 2: like I was watching I'm More Money. I was watching
- 32:00Speaker 2: that early. I don't remember not knowing them ninety two.
- 32:04Speaker 2: That was ninety two, that was nine. I was all
- 32:07Speaker 2: in on the wings from jumping on.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I couldn't get enough.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I thought it was so funny. Re Minding put his
- 32:12Speaker 2: leg up and he had to watch on his leg.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I said, how does he get his leg up?
- 32:16Speaker 2: Like he was like nineteen.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Yeah, he was young baby when he was threshing the game.
- 32:21Speaker 2: All right, you're up.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Listen, man, there's nothing worse than like a chaotic schedule.
- 32:27Speaker 1: You know, stuff you need done, stuff you need scent
- 32:30Speaker 1: when it's chaos and you got to get something like
- 32:33Speaker 1: quick in a short amount of time. I remember one time,
- 32:35Speaker 1: say't have nothing to do with nothing, But like I remember,
- 32:38Speaker 1: I left my wallet. I left my wallet at home,
- 32:42Speaker 1: and I was gonna take a train to Seattle. I'll
- 32:45Speaker 1: get to the train station. The train is leaving in
- 32:47Speaker 1: like thirty minutes. I get to the train station, which
- 32:49Speaker 1: is like thirty minutes from my house, and I, you know,
- 32:52Speaker 1: I forgot my wallet, so I had no ID, no
- 32:58Speaker 1: no ATM card. Luckily, you know, I already bought the
- 33:00Speaker 1: train tickets, so I was good. But once I got
- 33:03Speaker 1: to Seattle, I was just out there. You know. I'd
- 33:06Speaker 1: lists in Seattle, like I don't even know if I
- 33:08Speaker 1: can check it to my hotel without the proper ID.
- 33:11Speaker 2: So it was hectic, man.
- 33:12Speaker 1: So I had to I had to have my friend Janelle,
- 33:16Speaker 1: who watches my cats, she had to mail me my
- 33:20Speaker 1: whole like purse and send that to me and see
- 33:24Speaker 1: it it was chaos, man. It was the post office.
- 33:27Speaker 1: And I remember one time I was trying to get
- 33:29Speaker 1: some shirts delivered that I sell on the road and
- 33:33Speaker 1: I needed an order and it was kind of last minute.
- 33:35Speaker 1: So the stress of getting the shirts on time, and
- 33:38Speaker 1: like having those those shirts shipped to a hotel in
- 33:42Speaker 1: a different city and then have those go to the
- 33:45Speaker 1: hotel and the front desk and chaos is always ensuing.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Man.
- 33:50Speaker 1: But lit'sten. Life in general can be chaotic, but if

- 34:35Speaker 1: bit better for you. You know what I'm talking about,
- 34:37Speaker 1: a little a little bit smoother if you will, man,
- 34:41Speaker 1: because that that'll help with all the chaos that takes.

- 36:00Speaker 1: ivory because he helped right this as well. Hollywood Shuffle.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I love it. I feel like this movie doesn't get
- 36:06Speaker 2: talked about it doesn't.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Hollywood Shuffle is, pound for pound, one of the funniest
- 36:11Speaker 1: movies breathing. And it's so relevant even even to this day.
- 36:17Speaker 1: When you when you're in the in the Hollywood Shuffle,
- 36:20Speaker 1: you're like, yo, this is this is dead on and
- 36:22Speaker 1: so and so. Now you know, back then it was
- 36:25Speaker 1: like pimps and drug dealers down now it would be
- 36:27Speaker 1: like wearing a dress, so that would be the so.
- 36:30Speaker 1: But Hollywood Shuffle makes so many points. But it's so
- 36:34Speaker 1: funny though, from top to bottom. The slavery sketches and
- 36:38Speaker 1: the sneaking into movies and all that, and the and
- 36:42Speaker 1: the cookie Head Jenkins, the murder mystery, so funny topped
- 36:47Speaker 1: the bottom with a great message of great story, independent
- 36:50Speaker 1: filmmaking at its finest. Hollywood Shuffle is one of the
- 36:53Speaker 1: funniest movies. We don't you got John Witherspoon in there,
- 36:57Speaker 1: You got Keenan Ivory Wins in there. You got Robert
- 37:00Speaker 1: Townsend doing this thing. Damon Ways is in there.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Yeah. So you just see all of this just just building.
- 37:07Speaker 2: And he was saying that that it was like born
- 37:11Speaker 2: out of his experience at the moment. He was like,
- 37:15Speaker 2: I'm auditioning getting this stuff, either not getting the roles
- 37:19Speaker 2: or getting them in there like this, and he was like, man,
- 37:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna make this.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna make this movie.
- 37:24Speaker 2: And the fact that they could play updated right now,
- 37:27Speaker 2: you could play you could make that movie absolutely all
- 37:30Speaker 2: right now, Okay, now here's where it's gonna get tough.
- 37:34Speaker 1: It's hard coming up something. I think it's been playing
- 37:39Speaker 1: the whole time.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I'm trying to So let me ask you. Does Major
- 37:43Speaker 2: Payne count as a black comedy?
- 37:44Speaker 1: I don't think so. Why I don't consider it a
- 37:47Speaker 1: black movie?
- 37:48Speaker 2: Why? Though? What makes a black movie a black movie?
- 37:56Speaker 1: The cast is predominantly black? Which major which made the pain?
- 38:00Speaker 1: Is the only is the main white dude in like
- 38:03Speaker 1: two maybe three cadets are not black.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Because there was a main the older one I can't
- 38:09Speaker 2: think of his character name. He was the main one.
- 38:12Speaker 2: There was another one. I think there was only two
- 38:15Speaker 2: white kids in there, Bam bam, Bigelow's in there. But
- 38:18Speaker 2: it's a cameo.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I mean, if you say it's a black movie, I
- 38:23Speaker 1: won't be disgruntled. But it doesn't feel like a black
- 38:27Speaker 1: movie because it just it just happened. It doesn't and
- 38:33Speaker 1: it just happens to have a black league. I don't know.
- 38:39Speaker 1: I don't know either.
- 38:41Speaker 2: There's way more white people there. There's all kind of
- 38:43Speaker 2: white kids in there.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Oh okay, it's like five of them. Okay, so we
- 38:50Speaker 1: can't have it. I don't consider it a black film,
- 38:54Speaker 1: all right, but I could be mistaken. You know. I
- 38:59Speaker 1: don't know how we because I because I asked my
- 39:04Speaker 1: viewers about Major Pain before and they said they didn't
- 39:07Speaker 1: really consider that a black movie.
- 39:11Speaker 2: It does fit the type of movie that was coming
- 39:13Speaker 2: out during that time, for sure, you know what I'm saying,
- 39:15Speaker 2: Like Little Giants, it was like they made a lot
- 39:17Speaker 2: of movies. They just stopped making that those movies did.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I think it's I blamed Toy Story.
- 39:23Speaker 1: This is my because Toy Story came out with the cartoons.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Like they just was like and I don't know why,
- 39:29Speaker 2: because animated is way more fun. But we had from
- 39:31Speaker 2: the Goonies to Little Giants and all those kind of
- 39:34Speaker 2: kids movies. They just were like, all right, we don't
- 39:37Speaker 2: do that with.
- 39:38Speaker 1: The kids in the adults unless the kids gonna be
- 39:40Speaker 1: cussing exactly.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Okay, let me think, because that was gonna be one
- 39:44Speaker 2: of mine. Put it off to the side. From my
- 39:46Speaker 2: personal list.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I really enjoy Don't Be a Menace? Okay, I love
- 39:57Speaker 1: Don't Be a Menaced. I did grow up watching those movies,
- 40:01Speaker 1: so I had seen Boys in.
- 40:03Speaker 2: The Hood, uh, the Woman, Kane, New Jackson, No Society,
- 40:10Speaker 2: New jack I saw all though, so you you knew
- 40:12Speaker 2: what they were. So now I'm like, okay, you're getting
- 40:15Speaker 2: every joke now, Oh my god. And Marlon, Wayne's Martin
- 40:20Speaker 2: and Sean just they made a lot of funny movies
- 40:23Speaker 2: to me, which makes me wonder, just white Chicks a
- 40:24Speaker 2: black movie? No, but Don't Be Minaces? What's the different?
- 40:30Speaker 1: It's the same people, because Don't Be a Menace is
- 40:33Speaker 1: specifically targeting black movies, okay, and it is a black
- 40:38Speaker 1: movie targeting black movie, so it's culture black okay. Okay,
- 40:42Speaker 1: But Don't Be a Minuced I thought had it was
- 40:47Speaker 1: just I can't see so many in this movie.
- 40:50Speaker 2: It's just Martin's face. His hair looked off.
- 40:53Speaker 1: His hair when he had to missile do we had
- 40:58Speaker 1: a problem.
- 41:00Speaker 2: I mean, and the ensemble is great.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Man. Darryl Heath is ice pick two pick, Chris Spincers,
- 41:08Speaker 1: super woke dude, the lights white.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Excuse me, look him back. You took that white girl
- 41:13Speaker 2: right there. I love the way so.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Like, oh man, y'all ain't never.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Looked at no money in the shop, just me. He's
- 41:21Speaker 2: in Black Dynamo militant. The militants walk in, walk in.
- 41:26Speaker 1: That's him, Darryl Heath, he was on death jail. Hilarious day.
- 41:32Speaker 1: And Bernie Mac another scene steal for him is that
- 41:36Speaker 1: the racist cop.
- 41:37Speaker 2: He's it's great hat with the.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Gold bird's lips. I hate the black on the back
- 41:42Speaker 1: of the forth with neck. No why he do the
- 41:45Speaker 1: extra dump. It's so funny when they go to the
- 41:51Speaker 1: hospital and they're gonna be waiting long. So the dude
- 41:54Speaker 1: was on fire standing in line, just these little messages within.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Message and I redound. He says that, ye all right,
- 42:02Speaker 2: that's a good pille minutes. Okay, you got number eight.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with Harlem Knights. Gotta put it in there.
- 42:08Speaker 2: You know, I feel about that.
- 42:09Speaker 1: You saw it late in life. You just saw it
- 42:11Speaker 1: like last year.
- 42:12Speaker 2: It was last year, two years fifteen, No, it was not.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I lived my receiver house back then. It wasn't two Okay,
- 42:19Speaker 2: they were like seventeen.
- 42:20Speaker 1: It was probably probably nineteen twenty.
- 42:24Speaker 2: It wasn't twenty.
- 42:25Speaker 1: You just saw Nights fairly recently.
- 42:28Speaker 2: It was probably nineteen.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Yeah, And but I gotta put that in there. You
- 42:32Speaker 1: have to ultra black. Eddie Murphy directed it, did he? Yeah?
- 42:36Speaker 1: He directed.
- 42:37Speaker 2: I didn't know that most black commedians of our class,
- 42:40Speaker 2: and they've been saying this my whole comedy career, we
- 42:42Speaker 2: got to get our own Haarlem Knights, going Yeah, but
- 42:45Speaker 2: I don't know that, Like, I don't know that you
- 42:47Speaker 2: could get the Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy like those people.
- 42:51Speaker 2: That's actually one of the things we have. And the
- 42:52Speaker 2: Red Fox like they had everybody. Yeah, the legends of
- 42:57Speaker 2: the day and the people who was like rising that
- 43:00Speaker 2: movie is.
- 43:01Speaker 1: We could do that today? You think, so, yeah, you
- 43:04Speaker 1: come together to who we we got the biggest people.
- 43:06Speaker 1: We got Kevin Hart, we got Dave Chappelle, we got Cavoey.
- 43:10Speaker 1: But they kind of beefing. That's what I'm saying. Hold on,
- 43:13Speaker 1: I think we have that as a topic. We got
- 43:15Speaker 1: it on the next episode. Then we'll talk, we'll get back,
- 43:18Speaker 1: we'll get it. The Hall of Nights as as a
- 43:22Speaker 1: as a black film when you got the legendary comedians
- 43:26Speaker 1: in there.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Absolutely Delice fighting, Eddie.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Murphy stealing scenes like a mug, even if the orange
- 43:33Speaker 1: juice just he's swallowing this, Oh my.
- 43:36Speaker 2: God, hissed. But the scene where Eddie Murphy, I'm sorry,
- 43:40Speaker 2: we're our Senil Hall and the dude are shooting at
- 43:44Speaker 2: Eddie Murphy and our Senial Hall is crying tall him.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Miguel new Year's junior once again, who they say is
- 43:54Speaker 1: a J. Johnson's brother. I heard, really, that's what I heard.
- 43:57Speaker 1: I don't know how true it is.
- 43:59Speaker 2: The way our city was like queer. He was so dramatic.
- 44:05Speaker 2: He was crying, man, don't do it again. He started
- 44:12Speaker 2: shooting that last.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Clear, I ain't gonna kill you, and then nigger Eddie
- 44:24Speaker 3: Murphy shout back, and they're all gone, I'm gonna kill
- 44:32Speaker 3: you quick, All gone.
- 44:33Speaker 2: You shot my brother. I ain't nobody shot your brother.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Yeah you did. Quick.
- 44:40Speaker 1: They shot the dry. They shot the passenger in the
- 44:42Speaker 1: head on accident in the car before they even got
- 44:45Speaker 1: to the outside. Julia outside, they shot Junior in the
- 44:52Speaker 1: head on the wave. Julian was chilling. Julian was chilling.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Imagine you're in the front seat. Yeah, we're gonna get
- 45:02Speaker 1: this cat bat. That was your last thought. You're like, yeah, man,
- 45:09Speaker 1: we're gonna get quick. Pat, it's just gonna start. Just
- 45:14Speaker 1: you wake up, hell like you aren't ready. You was down, like,
- 45:18Speaker 1: we're gonna get quick. That's your last thought. You don't
- 45:27Speaker 1: even hear what I'm saying. I'm sorry, you're still in
- 45:28Speaker 1: the car. But they were still shooting it quick. He was.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Junior was in the car.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Damn, Oh my god. Alright, okay, number nine, I'm probably
- 45:42Speaker 2: stealing this from you.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Uh huh. Black, Yes, put it in there, because I
- 45:46Speaker 1: was gonna put it in there if you didn't.
- 45:49Speaker 2: This is another movie I saw late. I don't know this.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Came out O six you said eight oh nine.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Okay, So I don't think Black Dynamite came out into COMA.
- 45:58Speaker 2: I don't think it was a nation wide and movies
- 46:00Speaker 2: are nation wide releases. They don't go out. They didn't
- 46:03Speaker 2: come out to Coma.
- 46:03Speaker 1: It was limited. It was limited.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Yeah, so LA is always gonna get it if it's
- 46:07Speaker 2: limited releases all gonna come out in La. So I
- 46:09Speaker 2: remember Tony into here was always quoting specifically, but the
- 46:13Speaker 2: black down in my eyes, drugs in the community. Tone,
- 46:18Speaker 2: me and my and I didn't realize how hard are
- 46:20Speaker 2: it was. So me and Melissa watching with the Boys
- 46:23Speaker 2: two thousand and nine, Tone, we had a blast that night.
- 46:27Speaker 2: They're so when they was fighting and he smacked that.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Hard cut to a different actor because he was like, hey,
- 46:39Speaker 1: man cut.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Because we didn't realize what kind of movie it was.
- 46:46Speaker 2: So we was like, hold on, that was the movie.
- 46:49Speaker 2: We're like, oh this is this is a different movie.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Dog.
- 46:55Speaker 2: So Tommy Davison, when.
- 46:56Speaker 1: They wanted the food going best, did you say I won't?
- 47:02Speaker 1: I was long saucage s didn't had smush Fried and
- 47:06Speaker 1: one Wolf. You know that was trying to get some
- 47:11Speaker 1: service around. Do you see us? Do you see us?
- 47:18Speaker 1: That whole conversation when they were trying to piece together
- 47:21Speaker 1: the whole thing and the old lady was chiming in
- 47:23Speaker 1: with the dance, and they was all right, man, now,
- 47:28Speaker 1: who is the god of war?
- 47:31Speaker 2: Everyson all that's to save the Euphorian.
- 47:36Speaker 1: See, oh man, because like I'm gonna I'm gonna shake
- 47:41Speaker 1: the tree from the roots and rake up the fruits.
- 47:44Speaker 1: I'm a black Dyna Mize is gonna make it all right.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Epho already know that you ain't even got to look.

- 47:56Speaker 1: She faded back. She came Black Dina was gonna make
- 48:02Speaker 1: it all right.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Michael john White was so mad.
- 48:07Speaker 1: He was pissed. Man, I don't even got to look
- 48:13Speaker 1: that time he rolled up on the militants and then
- 48:15Speaker 1: they were just like the militant monkey stuff. You're like,
- 48:20Speaker 1: y'all because johnsonvible skills ain't worth a dad. That movie
- 48:26Speaker 1: is so funny when he kicked that dude through the wall.
- 48:29Speaker 1: The dudes in there with his TV dinner just sitting
- 48:31Speaker 1: there eating. Come.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I also love it because my kids thought it was
- 48:36Speaker 2: funny too.
- 48:37Speaker 1: So I was like, you know, the boys are tougher,
- 48:39Speaker 1: They're tough, they're tough crowd.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Yeah, the black dynamite man. We was. Melissa was mad
- 48:44Speaker 2: at me because there was some titties.
- 48:45Speaker 1: It was to.
- 48:47Speaker 2: I was like she was like fast forward it and
- 48:49Speaker 2: I was.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Like it was too late, you couldn't turn the butet
- 48:52Speaker 1: I seen.
- 48:52Speaker 2: It, just like I feel like it'll be over, So.
- 48:58Speaker 1: It was quick.
- 49:00Speaker 2: I was right there forever. Yeah, I was just like.
- 49:08Speaker 1: That when you check the back of the remote for
- 49:09Speaker 1: no reason, you open it up and make sure the
- 49:11Speaker 1: battery in here first. Oh yeah, they're in here, they
- 49:15Speaker 1: in here.
- 49:17Speaker 2: We just take them out. Sometimes you gotta.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta reverse it. And then you put the
- 49:23Speaker 1: prong on the on the negative and the negative on
- 49:26Speaker 1: the positive, and then you shake that up and then
- 49:28Speaker 1: then you make sure that back is in place, and
- 49:34Speaker 1: then that's when you turn the channel. Oh yeah, Black Dynamite.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Is Oh my god, ten out of ten. You're up,
- 49:41Speaker 2: the final pick, the final countdown.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Oh so we got coming to America, We get life,

- 50:00Speaker 1: Yeah, even if it was a black movie, I don't
- 50:04Speaker 1: know what that would be. Top ten.
- 50:12Speaker 2: Hm, man, this is tough, tough.
- 50:15Speaker 1: You got Boomerang, got nutty professor. Y'all listen more, professor.
- 50:22Speaker 1: The first one is really great. Babased kids. I love
- 50:25Speaker 1: Night Uptown Saturday Night. I love Uptown Night.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Dragon is comedy, straight up. I wouldn't consider it tripping. Okay, y'all,
- 50:35Speaker 2: just name it Undercover brother, Come on, y'all.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Woo, y'all, just name me rush out consider.
- 50:44Speaker 2: That's definitely a crossover. Soul Man was very funny, though.
- 50:47Speaker 1: You know what I hate. I hate to just it's
- 50:51Speaker 1: a lot of Eddie Murphy in here.
- 50:52Speaker 2: What he is, who he is.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I gotta put Boomerang in there.
- 50:55Speaker 2: I would say, I'm.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Boomerang Is is one of the ultimate romantic comedies of
- 51:01Speaker 1: all time. I gotta put Boomerang. Yeah. It's just so good,
- 51:06Speaker 1: so well cast, so many dope characters throughout it. It's
- 51:12Speaker 1: just it's just a good ass, well done movie.
- 51:16Speaker 2: No argument. And everybody was beautiful.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Everybody was They represented black people, Yeah, great, funny, They're
- 51:21Speaker 1: all great. Martin Martin, Martin was killing in that though.
- 51:26Speaker 1: He was killing in that joint. Him and David Allen
- 51:29Speaker 1: Green were a great contrast. The women were fire. It
- 51:34Speaker 1: was just Greg Jones, Greg Jones and Earth the kids
- 51:37Speaker 1: stealing scenes.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Ear kid, it's great. It was just honorable mentioned low
- 51:42Speaker 2: down Dirty Shame.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Low down Dirty Shame is great.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Yeah, because I couldn't.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I couldn't put it above Boomerang anything else on that list,
- 51:48Speaker 1: but low down Dirty Shame is fire.
- 51:50Speaker 2: I love the First Nighting Professor. Honible mentioned First Knighting
- 51:53Speaker 2: Professor is great. Eddie Murphy, Eddie Murphy playing multiple characters
- 51:57Speaker 2: at once, that dinner scene with the farting and to
- 52:01Speaker 2: just this whole list, damnure could have been Eddie Murphy. Absolutely,
- 52:05Speaker 2: that's what he did.
- 52:07Speaker 1: What was what was Jamie Fox and Tommy David Booty call.
- 52:12Speaker 1: I recently rewatched that and it's still funny.
- 52:15Speaker 2: You getting stick deep. I didn't know what that meant
- 52:18Speaker 2: at the time, but I found out, Oh that movie
- 52:22Speaker 2: was funny. Yeah, that's good, all right. I feel strongly
- 52:23Speaker 2: about that.
- 52:24Speaker 1: I'm not mad at this list. I'm good with this list.
- 52:26Speaker 1: I feel like that can stand in the test of
- 52:28Speaker 1: time for sure. And it crosses over other people. Other
- 52:30Speaker 1: people that I talked to that aren't black, they love
- 52:33Speaker 1: Black Dynamite as well.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah black. When we went to see Johnny Black,
- 52:38Speaker 2: the theater was all kind of people and A good
- 52:40Speaker 2: amount of questions was about Black Dynamo, like this is
- 52:43Speaker 2: cool black. Listen when you did Black Datama, what you
- 52:46Speaker 2: was thinking with you? He was just kind of like, well,
- 52:49Speaker 2: you said we kind of talking about that. I understand that,
- 52:53Speaker 2: but what about Black dynam All right, before we go
- 52:58Speaker 2: mount rushmore of desserts? Oh and this is your personal amount,
- 53:04Speaker 2: right personal? Okay, because I don't I don't want to
- 53:07Speaker 2: hear it for me. I don't care what y'all say. Okay,
- 53:12Speaker 2: you only get you gonna be on there. You're blacks.
- 53:16Speaker 1: It's gonna beyond there because I like it. If you
- 53:19Speaker 1: only got to eat four desserts for the rest of
- 53:21Speaker 1: your life.
- 53:23Speaker 2: What do you choose? I don't want Tony over here
- 53:25Speaker 2: on mine? All right, We're gonna go one by one,
- 53:28Speaker 2: one one, okay, and public copie is not my first one,
- 53:31Speaker 2: but it's gonna be on there. It's gonna beyond there
- 53:33Speaker 2: my first one.
- 53:35Speaker 1: All right. Listen, y'all, y'all already know I'm movie McGee,
- 53:38Speaker 1: me and me and kemb with both Movie McGee's out here.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I'm movie McGee and I'm excited to say that this
- 53:45Speaker 1: email K Weekend. You know what I'm talking about big MLK,
- 53:49Speaker 1: Big Black Weekend. Right, we got a black R rated
- 53:54Speaker 1: comedy coming out in theater there is nationwide. Now Here's
- 53:58Speaker 1: the thing. I feel like R rated comedy comedies in general,
- 54:03Speaker 1: especially R rated black comedies are like slim to none
- 54:07Speaker 1: when it comes to theatrical release nowadays. Like when's the
- 54:10Speaker 1: last like straight up R rated black comedies that came
- 54:13Speaker 1: out recently in theaters nationwide, Like it's I feel like
- 54:18Speaker 1: they're few and far between. I feel like I feel
- 54:20Speaker 1: like the movie industry is like kind of turning, they
- 54:23Speaker 1: back on releasing new comedies theatrically. But thank you to
- 54:28Speaker 1: the brilliance of producer Is Ray, we got a new
- 54:31Speaker 1: comedy coming out called One of Them Days starring Keiky
- 54:35Speaker 1: Palmer and Sister. That's right, Sisster is making her big
- 54:40Speaker 1: screen debut along with the great, always delivering Keky Palmer. Man.
- 54:46Speaker 1: It's an outrageous comedy about two friends who find themselves
- 54:51Speaker 1: in a financial mind and they got to come up
- 54:54Speaker 1: with that money in twenty four hours, you know what
- 54:57Speaker 1: I'm saying. So hilarity and ridiculousness ensues as they try
- 55:01Speaker 1: to come up with that bread. You feel me now?
- 55:05Speaker 1: I love the fact that, first of all, I like
- 55:07Speaker 1: movies that are set in a small, you know, time frame.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I love Friday. Friday is one of the funniest movies

- 57:39Speaker 2: Hardly anybody don't like poundcake. It's like what Edie Murphy said,
- 57:42Speaker 2: who don't like parfait.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Because the name, the name is so nondescript. It just
- 57:46Speaker 1: sounds like you college. Just I just work eight hours
- 57:49Speaker 1: a day or go home and shut my mouth. I
- 57:51Speaker 1: don't go out. That's poundcake. Poundcake is just work at

- 58:00Speaker 1: Daddy worked down at their meal. So I just did
- 58:02Speaker 1: the same. This is what we did as men. Poundcake
- 58:05Speaker 1: was a heart boundcake out on construction boots, not even timberlings.

- 58:41Speaker 1: Here's where I get controversial, though.
- 58:43Speaker 2: You don't want no bananas.
- 58:44Speaker 1: I don't need the vanilla wafers in there. I don't
- 58:48Speaker 1: need the vanilla waves in there. Oh I would. I
- 58:53Speaker 1: like it as a crumb topping, but a whole wafer
- 58:56Speaker 1: is too much. Whole was too much. This is a
- 59:00Speaker 1: for me, yeah, because I already we already got pudding,
- 59:04Speaker 1: We already got bananas, we already got cream. Now we
- 59:07Speaker 1: need whole.
- 59:08Speaker 2: Wafers decorate the alis. You need some structure, crumbs you can.
- 59:15Speaker 1: I'm fine with the crumb wafers, just the whole wafer.
- 59:19Speaker 2: What else is vanilla wafer's gonna be if they not
- 59:21Speaker 2: for banana pudding. People don't really.
- 59:22Speaker 1: Just in my business.
- 59:25Speaker 2: That's what they know. What it is They in the
- 59:26Speaker 2: game to be in banana pus. That's none of my crazy.
- 59:30Speaker 2: I've heard no I heard no banana you're.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Gonna have no bananas in the banana pudding.
- 59:34Speaker 2: I don't like bananas.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Banana is literally in the title.
- 59:38Speaker 2: I don't care. My my sister in law, Tammy, she
- 59:42Speaker 2: makes banana pudding no bananas, with chess men instead of
- 59:45Speaker 2: Vanilla wafers, very light on the pudding. I can eat
- 59:49Speaker 2: it the traditional black.

- 1:00:25Speaker 1: wafers is key wafers mooched off a banana pudding. Yo,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: this is what we could do for us. Sure, this
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: will make us more popular the marketing team at Vanilla.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: The wafers need the banana putting. The banana pudding does
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: not need the wafers.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I disagree, and I don't even like bananas. I don't
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: like banana putting the banana be turning brown.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: But you got to get in. I like brown bananas.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: That's when you get to the nitty gritty.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Nah, they're all good.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I get what you're saying. Once you see a dark banana,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: that's when you're just like an avocado.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: It's been left out. Yeah, it doesn't change mentally, it
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: is diseased.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Now watch out, man.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Bananas actually do taste the soft ones, like the mushy mushy.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: It's just this.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: That's why I don't like them. I don't know if
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: y'all know the story. Went to Las Vegas for the
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: first time. I was hungry. My grandma didn't want to
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: go eat downstairs. I was like, can I have something
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: to eat? She was like, here's a banana and it
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: was The banana was like.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: It was the biggest soft spots and she opened it
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: and it had like a deep gushy part. She was like,
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: and eat the whole thing. I'm not hungry anymore. Yeah,
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: you was hungry, now eat it. She made me eat
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: that whole banana and that was the last and I
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: was just like, I don't want to. Why are you
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: punishing me for being hung We've been in the car
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: for seven hours.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: So you got the banana just because of this one moment.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: No, because that's gross. That tastes gross and it gives.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: In my mind?
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Was it I brown was a banana and it was like,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: come on, you've proven a point.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: It was my shirt?
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I feel like it was just at the
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: hotel on the back of a TV. Eat this. That's
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: been a circus circus for a month.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I like my bananas with freckles on them, but that that's.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: That was like, come on, that's bruit flies were like, man,
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: I was, I was plotting on that, all right.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Second form me, y'all are disgusting, by the way, talking
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: about bananas are disgusting. Y'all disgusting. Oh yeah.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: My second is peach cobbler. Okay, my grandma makes a
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: great peach cobbler. A lot of black women do. Best
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: part is the corner. There's no health benefits of peach coller,
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: absolutely not. It's funny because Melissa does not like peach cobbler.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Melissa has anti hot fruit, but she don't eat food,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: so she'd be so mad at me when I agree
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: with you for that. She said, you've never said that before.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Tony Bigger, I said that all the time. Nobody else
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: was with me. If you didn't go on that tour, Tony,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: you're the only one that called her out. She never
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: ate her food, but I agree with him.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: You see, I've seeing her personally waist so much food. Personally,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: I know the truth.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: She says she get tired of you, and she's like,
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: I just.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I wish I would get tired at you. I get
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: tired of you and gum, that's it.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Food but great. I love the corner, crispy edges on,
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: the on the thing, but the one thing, Peach Coppler.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: If it's not done right, a doeye crust.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Take you out of it. I'm out.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: If I get a big globe, I'd be.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Like you had a spoonful of raw Duncan hines.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Yes, play though, I'll be out, all right, you're up
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: number two.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with cheesecake, man, Tony, cheesecake is fired.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Cheesecake and whatever was itever texture you wanted to be
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: cheesecakes fire.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: I could never want to do this or the or.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: The creamy whatever whenever, however, turn Maxwell on Siri, play
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Maxwell whenever, whatever, whatever, Man cheesecake is phenomenal, and all
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: of it's splendid.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: I do prefer the Junior's type of like the thick. No, no,
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: like the light they had, like a light version the
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: New York thick.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I want all of it.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Granually cheesecake.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I'll take my cheesecake with a thick ass booty, or
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: it could be flat, creamy cheeks, whatever, whatever you want.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Whatever it is, cheesecake is phenomenal, but the fact that
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I don't be eating cheesecake on the regular is phenomenal.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: You can have it, yes, all right. My next one
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: is pineapple upside down cake. I don't want to talk
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: about to hear. Let's just leave it alone. That story
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: to tell you everything you need to know about me.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: And Pineapple upside I love it. I love the pineapple
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: with the little marachino cherry, the crumbly top. Yeah, it's great. Yes,
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: I ate the top of the Here's cake. It was
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: not that big. It was like a saucer man to
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: hear is just be exaggerating on the bigness of the story,
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: to be lying, lying, and he be over exaggerating. But
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Quinn Quinn made one one time. I don't remember why

- 1:05:50Speaker 2: You got to add that to it.

- 1:05:54Speaker 1: it is a sugar cookies. No, that's not what I want.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Sugar cookies are light and color. No, I want the

- 1:08:51Speaker 2: used to sell three cookies for a dollar, and they
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: never baked the chocolate chip cookies all the way. They

- 1:09:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you what, no whipped cream. It's my
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: my whole October through the end of the year. If
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: I couldn't have punkin pie, I would be delirious because
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: the rest of my deserts are year round. I'm not
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: eating pumpkin pie until October first. But it's part of
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: the changing of the seasons. It's like eggnog Christmas time,
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: like outside of that season it's weird, but in the season.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: I like it. It's not too sweet.

- 1:10:09Speaker 2: My thing about the blacks, most of them haven't even
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: had it. If you're being honest, Sweet tato pie and
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: punkin pie are not that far off.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: They were the same thing growing up there. Sweet tael
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: pie is usually just a really sweet, sweet, sweet tasting
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: punkin pie.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: They're not that of humid packet but jewey, it's not that.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: But have you tasted it?
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I'm just saying I hate it when people judged stuff
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: with no experience. That's one of my pet peeves. Did
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: you watch it? No about it's not that different, It's
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: not I thought they were the same thing for yous
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: A lot of people did. I was like, wait, there's
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: a difference.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and sweet toato pope having the strings in it.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: They had time. And if you're gonna make me my
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: grandma Bella May did it when your grandma left the
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: strings in it. Now I'm doing this.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Strings are gross.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: It's gross. But I do like sweet potato pie. I
